Trump Aide Warns WW3 with North Korea to spark financial crash in next 6 months
A Horrific war between North Korea and the United States is set to break out in the coming months, and will trigger a devastating financial crisis, an adviser to Donald Trump’s government has warned. As tensions boil over between North Korea and the US, an economic meltdown is inevitable and set to hit in the next six months, according to Jim Rickards, an author and adviser to the US Department of Defence.
He believes the next financial crisis is set to be even bigger than the 2008 collapse – and too huge for even central banks to cope with as World War 3 threatens to break out. The best-selling Currency Wars author is convinced a North Korea-US war is looming after comments by US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. Mr Rickards told the Big Money Questions show: “A war between the United States and North Korea in the next six months… that is the avalanche causing a bigger avalanche. It comes as Kim Jong-un continues to provoke fury from Mr Trump with nuclear missile testing.
The UN has now passed tougher sanctions on North Korea in an effort to pressure Kim Jong-un to stop testing nuclear bombs.
And the US Treasury Secretary has now said that if China does not enforce sanctions, the US is prepared to deny China access to the US dollar payments system - and this points to war, according to Mr Rickards.
He said: "In financial warfare terms, that's the equivalent of an h-bomb."
The author added: "The US would not have taken such an extreme financial war posture vis-a-vis China, unless we were prepared to go to war with North Korea."

Investors are too complacent and war is not priced into the markets, Mr Rickards warned.
Savers and households should now be looking at protecting themselves from the looming storm.
Mr Rickards said ordinary people should now be looking at selling out of stock markets and buying gold and hoarding cash.
He said: "These are the safe haven assets - when the war breaks out, I would expect this before the middle of 2018, this is not a three year problem - this is six to eight month problem."

Kim Jong Un is using Google Earth to pinpoint missile targets
North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-Un has apparently been using old Google earth photos to “pinpoint” his targets. The Independent reports that he’s been studying dated Google Earth images as he further develops his nuclear program. An affiliate at the Stanford University’s Center for International Security
and Cooperation says that North Korea has no satellites of their own and has to use publicly available images. The latest propaganda photos seem to show him studying maps of Andersen Air Force Base in Guam from six years ago. All this coming after tensions continue to escalate between the U.S. and North Korea.
