Communism was the source of the main conflict between the West and the East between World War II and 1989. Before the end of World War II, the Soviet Union was already well into their takeover of large swaths of Eastern Europe. It all began to crumble in the mid 1980’s when the impact of the Reagan policies brought massive economic pressure on the Soviet Union. In order to compete with the USA, the Soviet Union had to invest money it didn’t have in weapons. That left even less financial ability for the Soviet Union to spread across it’s massive landscape.


Outside of the McCarthy era, the threat of communism was largely a threat from outside the borders of the United States of America. The Cuban Missile Crisis was perhaps the closest that the two countries came to an all-out war between the two behemoths. It is possible that Khrushchev was not intending to attack the United States, but to blackmail the United States in order to gobble up more land under the Communist empire.

Two members of the ship’s crew were killed in the attack. It appears that Iran or one of its proxies was responsible. The oil tanker was empty of cargo on its way from Tanzania to UAE. Although it was a Japanese owned ship, it was managed and operated by an Israeli company.


Iran and its proxies often use suicide or kamikaze drones in Yemen and Iraq. Given the fact that this was most probably an attack carried out by Iran, a response by Israel is expected.

With Russia closing down Israeli flights over Syria, the Iranian noose continues to tighten around the Jewish State. The attack on the cargo ship is a fresh reminder that Israel faces a near impossible task to free the Middle East from Iran’s grasp.



But in today’s day and age, there is a strong move towards a more centralized government that will control more and more. The ideas of communism sound so engaging and so fair. The weak point of the United States, according to this important clip, is the racial tension that threatens the social fabric of the United States. The key word that is used is socialism – but that really is a codeword for Communism. The word socialism is used to grow government more and more, until reaching the point of a massively powerful government that is totalitarian. By 1982, Lebanon, as a partial proxy of Iran, Lebanon began to rain down missiles on Israel’s North. Israel responded and attacked back in order to restore calm. Israel won the war and defeated the Lebanon terrorist infrastructure. But then Israel remained in Lebanon as a peacekeeping force for more than 15 years. Ultimately, Israel’s exit from Lebanon was viewed by nearly everyone as a move that was way too late or that shouldn’t have been done at all.

In 2006, Lebanon began to rain down missiles by the hundreds on Israel, and Israel was forced to respond. The battle that ensued was bitter and Israel lost many of it’s finest soldiers. It seems today that Israel may be on the cusp of yet another battle. Today, Lebanon nearly always follows Iran’s orders, and Iran is being resurrected by the United States and the European Union. That allows Iran to dream big. And in Iran, they dream of destroying Israel whenever they can. It is indeed possible that the first major challenge of the new Israeli government will be Lebanon raining hundreds of missiles down on Israel.

So how has so much of the world been duped by the BDS movement into thinking that they are genuinely concerned with the humanitarian issues of the so-called “Palestinians?” There are two answers to this question. First off, the leaders of the BDS movement do have a point when they focus on the squalor in the lifestyle of many of the Arabs who live in refugee camps. But these BDS leaders know what very few others know. The reason that the Arabs live the way they live is due to the way the Jordanian government and other Arab countries treated these Arabs from 1948 till 1967. From 1948 until 1967, these Arabs were indeed largely ignored by the Jordanian occupiers, and small problems became big problems. But once Israel liberated the Lands that were historically part of the Jewish Commonwealth for around 1,000 years, everything improved for these Arabs. Health care improved, roads improved, and jobs were available all throughout the State of Israel. But the anti-Israel racist nationalism was spurred on by the same forces that fought against the very existence of the State of Israel. That is how Israel became what it is today – a country with a significant Arab minority that live better than most Arabs in neighboring countries. However, a large segment of this population is still hostile to Israel’s very existence despite all of the improvements. The hostility is nothing more than the same age-old racist anti-semitism that has plagued the world for so many centuries.

The other reason why the BDS movement has been so successful in building up momentum is that the anti-Israel haters found an effective method to blame Israel for everything while sounding like humanitarians. This was a brilliant marketing ploy that must be exposed. That is why short video clips such as this that unmask the true intentions of the BDS movement are so critical. There is no difference whatsoever between someone who wants to destroy the State of Israel and someone who wants to kill all of the Jewish people. They are vile anti-Semites.

Iran is a different story. Until 1979, when the Ayatollahs took over, Iran was a relatively Western-oriented regime. In 1979, the dam burst, and the revolution against the Shah of Iran came out in full force. The Shah was no saint. But he was the best option at the time for Iran for the Western world. The United States did not invest enough effort to shore up the more moderate option against the more radical option.

Then, one day, America woke up to hundreds of American hostages in Iran who were handcuffed and blindfolded. This nightmare lasted for nearly one year and was certainly a contributing factor to Jimmy Carter not being reelected in 1980. The nightmare continues to this day for the tens of millions of Iranians who want nothing to do with their leadership. Barack Obama made it clear that he would not stand behind the masses who rose up to protest. Will Joe Biden’s administration do any better? Probably not. But one day, the dam will burst in another direction, and Iran will shift back to the will of it’s people, the majority that are completely at odds with their leadership. The question is how long it will take and will the West help them attain their goals or sit on the sidelines.

Why Do We Condemn When Jesus Came to Save?
Christians should not condemn others, but rather love others. This does not mean you accept every sin. However, it does mean we should never condemn another individual. Christ did not condemn others, neither should we.

John 3:17 says, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” In this passage of Scripture, Jesus is telling us that the Father sent Him into the world to save the people of the world — not to condemn them. If Jesus did not condemn the world, why are Christians today found guilty of condemning others?

What Is the Meaning of John 3:17?
Sadly, many Christians judge and condemn others on the basis of external sin, appearance, or actions. As Christians, we should never judge one another. Jesus tells all people, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you” (Matthew 7:1-2).

In this passage, Jesus is directly telling believers the importance of not judging others. Jesus goes on to say in Matthew 7:3, “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?” Christians cannot condemn others because just like everybody else, Christians are sinners too (Romans 3:23).

Once an individual places faith in Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, the individual is given forgiveness of sins and eternal life (Romans 6:23). Noteworthy to mention is the fact of salvation providing the individual with forgiveness of sins — not eradication of sins.

The ability to sin is not erased at the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit can help us resist temptation; however, all Christians will continue to sin. Since we are equally guilty of sin, we must not judge others nor condemn others (Romans 3:10-12).


Jesus is God, which means He is the only One who can truly condemn a person. He could have chosen to condemn all people because we have all drifted away from Him and have chosen to sin against Him.

Rather than condemning us, Jesus came to save us. Similar to how Jesus did not condemn the woman caught in adultery, neither should we condemn others (John 8:1-11). Just like Jesus, we should be willing to forgive others and to treat others kindly, lovingly, and respectfully.

Jesus Did Not Come to Condemn the World
Many Christians are quick to judge others on the basis of outward appearance and behaviors. Christians condemn others out of judgment and pride. While this is a sad reality, each Christian can decide for themselves whether or not they will condemn others. The right thing to do is to never condemn others.

Condemning others will result in the other person feeling attacked, belittled, and rejected. As believers, we should ever cause another person to feel rejected or cause them pain. Rude stares, impolite gestures, and judgmental tones and statements are not to be practiced by Christians.

The Word of God tells us, “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers” (Galatians 6:10). This is the petition to all believers to be kind, compassionate, and caring to all people whether they are Christians or not.

It can be easy for Christians to condemn others based on outward appearances, such as if the individual has a tattoo, smokes tobacco, drinks alcohol, or is a homosexual (Alicia Purdy, “5 Things Christians Often Condemn and What the Bible Actually Says,” Crosswalk). A Christian cannot condemn others based on these factors.


A good rule of thumb to adhere to when we try to help others in what they are struggling with is to engage them in conversation and talk with them rather than condemning them (Purdy). The Bible does not tell us to condemn others for getting a tattoo, smoking cigarettes, or drinking alcohol.

Homosexuality is prohibited in the Bible (Leviticus 18:22); however, believers should not condemn those struggling with homosexuality. If a believer truly wants to help an individual struggling with homosexuality, they should get to know them, talk with them, and study the Bible with them.

There are Christians who struggle with homosexuality, but that does not mean we should condemn them. Simply because these sins are more externally noticed does not mean they are “worse” sins than other sins. All sin is sin, and all sin is equal in God’s eyes (James 2:10-11).

Rather than condemning others because of sin, it is important that Christians respond without judgment. Try to imagine yourself in another person’s shoes before you even consider condemning them. God could have condemned us all to hell, but He chose to love us and redeem us through His Son’s death on the cross.

Jesus Came to Save
There are dangerous risks in condemning other Christians and unbelievers. If a Christian condemns an unbeliever or judges them, it could result in the unbeliever becoming disenchanted with the idea of Jesus and completely turning away from the faith. As believers, we are to reflect Christ to the world.

If we condemn and judge others, it will present Christ as condemning, judgmental, and hateful to others. We should never misrepresent our Savior and Lord. Jesus never condemned other people as He showed them love, forgiveness, and kindness. Christians need to do the same today.


If Christians condemn other Christians, it can cause friction to erupt among the body of believers. Within the family of God, there should not be any hate, disrespect, or judgment brought upon another believer.

Christians can help other people if they are struggling with a sin, but a Christian should never condemn a person for a sin. Jesus freely offers forgiveness, and He does not hold grudges. Ephesians 4:32 reads, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Therefore, Christians should not condemn others, but rather love others. This does not mean you accept every sin. However, it does mean we should never condemn another individual. We should reflect Christ to others, which means since Christ did not condemn others, neither should we.

Each Christian struggles with their own sin and we should not condemn other Christians or other people because of sin in their life. We all fall short of God’s glory, which means we are in no place to condemn others.

Instead of cultivating a judgmental attitude, Christians should allow the Holy Spirit to work in their lives and produce the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Condemnation is not needed in a Christian’s life nor is hate, pride, or discord. Jesus did not condemn others, therefore, Christians should not either.

Russian President Putin made it clear that the special relationship that existed between Israel and Russia regarding freedom of movement for Israeli aircraft when they attack Iranian positions in Syria, is now over. This has widespread ramifications on Israel’s ability to deter Iranian expansion in Syria as well as the Iranian ability to rearm Hezbollah.

With Netanyahu out, Putin does not appear to trust the professionalism and capabilities of the new government. More than that and the point which should frighten Israel, is that Putin made it clear that the new understandings were made possible do to the line of communication Putin and Biden established between them.

As reported by Arutz-7, “Last week, a “well-informed” Russian source has told London’s Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper that Russia has ‘run out of patience’ with Israel’s strikes on Syria, after receiving the impression that ‘Washington does not welcome the continuous Israeli raids.'”

With the Russian partnership now gone and a Woke administration firmly entrenched in Washington, Israel has little capabilities for preventing the Chinese backed Iranian hegemony from completely surrounding it. Putin may swoop in and force Israel to beg for help, but for the Russian President everything has a price and his price for protection may not be worth it.

Whatever one thought of Bibi Netanyahu, no one doubted his political acumen and clout on the world stage. The members of last month’s political coup in Israel forgot all about what that means and now are left gasping for air as the world appears to be closing in.


An unstable government, lack of allies, and inexperienced leader appear to be a disaster in the making. While it is true that these are dark times, where it is increasingly hard to see the way forward, it is precisely in these sort of moments salvation comes.

With reports of mass incarcerations, concentration camps, and organ harvesting, the Western world has found it hard to remain neutral.


In return China has decided to portray itself as the protector of “palestinian” Arab rights in order to deflect from their treatment of the Uyghurs. The Chinese government has begun actively supporting “palestinian” causes in international forums like the UN as well as providing money and support.

The second reason behind China’s about face with Israel is Iran. China has decided to use Iran to push Beijing’s agenda in the Middle East and by doing so becoming the main adversary of Israel and its Sunni-Gulf alliance.

China’s goal now is to increase Israel’s instability from within and out. By actively supporting Hamas and Fatah through financial support they are aiding Jew killing terrorist groups. Of course the biggest challenge for Israel is the Chinese economic juggernaut. By closing down investments and business between Beijing and Jerusalem, the Jewish State will feel the pain.

The refugee issue of the so-called “Palestinian nation” is a mixture of gross exaggeration and outright lies. Their indeed were tens of thousands of Arab refugees that resulted from the 1948 War of Independence. But, let’s understand where this came from. The way it worked was as follows. In 1947, the United Nations decided to create a Jewish State and an Arab State in the area that was called the British Mandate for the previous 30 years. Let’s say that again – a Jewish State beside an Arab State. The Jewish people, under the leadership of David Ben-Gurion accepted the proposal. The Arabs who lived in the area that was set up to be an Arab State, along with 6 other Arab countries surrounding the not-yet formed Jewish State, all completely rejected the idea and began a massive war against Israel. As part of the battle, many Arabs left their homes – of their own volition – in order to clear the way for invading Arab armies. Before the State of Israel was declared, all of the Arab armies and Arab irregulars attacked the Jewish towns and small cities. They came from every direction – North, South, and East. They had more weapons, soldiers, and bullets than the Jewish defenders.

Israel paid a terrible price. Out of approximately 600,000 Jews who lived in what was the British Mandate until then, 6,000 Jews were killed – a full 1% of the entire Jewish population. The Arabs wanted to continue the Holocaust that had just been ended three years earlier. They hurt the Jewish people severely, but the State of Israel survived – barely – and despite losing some battles, Israel won the war and became a sovereign country. This despite all of the attempts to throw the Jews into the sea. Thus, the first group of tens of thousands of Arabs who vacated their homes in order to pave the way for the attack of Jews became Arab refugees. That is a good thing. The alternative would have been hundreds of thousands of Jews killed. The Arab refugees were accomplices to the attempted 2nd Holocaust.

Whenever anyone feels bad for Arab refugees from the “Nakba” in 1948, be aware that those Arab refugees were part of a massive attempt to kill hundreds of thousands of Jews.


The Arabs who live around Israel’s borders should be treated like Cuba – a rogue Communist nation that threatened the entire United States of America. So too, the Arabs who live near Israel’s borders and threaten Israel’s existence to this very day. A poor Cuba is a safe United States of America. The Supreme Court is the highest court of law in the State of Israel. Not only do Arab citizens have excellent representation via Jewish and Arab lawyers in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court itself has Arab members. Moreover, less than a decade ago, an Arab Supreme Court justice sent a Jewish President of the State of Israel to prison for alleged crimes. Is this not a proof that Israel is a State that is filled with justice?

Secondly, the State of Israel just appointed a Corona czar – the 3rd since the beginning of the pandemic. This time, they chose a former Director General of a Hospital in Safed, and a former high ranking Army official in the Medical Corps. He is not Jewish, but a Druze man. There have also been Generals in the Israeli Army who are non-Jewish Arabs. Do Arabs indeed not have equality in the State of Israel? In which other Middle Eastern countries do minorities have such rights? The answer is that nowhere else is as free and advanced – as far as open-mindedness as the State of Israel.

A new Jewish family moved into the City of David, in what the Arabs insist be called Silwan. The Arabs leaving in the area directly threatened the new family.

More and more Jewish families are moving to the City of David and the Shiloach, both neighborhoods, the Arabs in the area call Silwan. These neighborhoods had been traditionally Jewish, up until the war of 1948 when they fell under the control of Jordan.
In the City of David, there are now more than 80 Jewish families. In the Shiloach there are more than 30 families.

The latest acquisitions come after a few months since Ateret Cohanim facilitated the purchase of two large buildings on the other side of the Kidron, above the Shiloach. That purchase occurred right before Ramadan. The Arabs used it as an excuse for violence. The most recent purchase is far smaller. However, given the tensions any new Jewish family is met with violent actions from th surrounding Arabs.

Now organizations like Ateret Cohanim and Ir David are working hard to right the injustice that took plave more than 70 years ago by purchasing homes from Arabs in these neighborhoods.

Diplomatic Push is on to Prevent Another Israel-Hamas War in Gaza
There is a diplomatic push to find a resolution to prevent another Gaza escalation, or even war, by removing some of the points of conflict between Israel and Hamas.

As a sign that tensions are easing, Israel on Monday expanded the Gaza fishing zone from nine to 12 nautical miles, close to its prewar status of 15. This was combined with a series of diplomatic moves.

There is a diplomatic push to find a resolution to prevent another Gaza escalation, or even war, by removing some of the points of conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Egypt is brokering indirect talks between Israel and Hamas in an attempt to reach a permanent ceasefire, or at the very least ensure a prolonged situation of calm. The United Nations is also involved in the process with support from the United States and the EU.

Last Thursday [Lynn] Hastings visited Gaza. Upon her return to Jerusalem on Friday, she called on Israel to fully open the crossings.

“Without a return to the regular and predictable entry of goods into Gaza, the capacity of the UN and our partners to deliver critical interventions is at risk, as are the livelihoods of and basic services for the people in Gaza,” Hastings said. (JPOST / VFI News)
