So, is social media inherently good or bad? No, but it sure is powerful. Google has enormous power in how it has created the most powerful search algorithm and influences how search is done today. But the power of social media goes way beyond that. Social Media allows people to penetrate communities in ways that have never existed until now. Anyone who speaks a common language with anybody on the other side of the world, can now reach hundreds and thousands of people that they would never have been able to reach in the past.

The digital information war is alive and well, and is probably just as important as military wars. Disinformation wars are going on all around the world. An important point that is brought up in this video is that allegedly false news travels more quickly than facts. But not just more quickly – ten to twenty times as fast. So, the entire issue of false news and digital robots are a huge issue that must be dealt with.


Marc Zuckerberg identified several kinds of fake accounts. Spammers are people without ideology who are economically inclined. State actors are absolutely ideologically and politically inclined. But the problem that Tribe Journal points out is that the idea of self-policing breaks down due to the amount of money involved. The massive social media companies are now in charge of deciding when billions of dollars should be rejected from a State sponsor of internet robots that are all designed to influence public opinion on a massive level. The solutions may be complicated. But in some way, the situation of the massive power that is held by the social media titans needs to change. The absolute power that a few companies now have is the biggest threat to society today.

(OPINION) ETH – A new political party that has been formed in Israel called “The Noam Party”, which is known for being pro-family/anti-LGBT has recently announced that it will support Prime Minister Netanyahu to form the next government and reportedly presented a list of demands.
According to a report from Israel 365 News, This particular party only won a single seat in the Knesset, but with no side winning any clear majority, that one seat wields an outsized influence. This Noam Party is known as a part of the Religious Zionist alliance that formed with Otzma Yehudit and Bezalel Smotrich’s National Union, which garnered a total of six seats, and the report states that this influence is essential if Netanyahu hopes to garner the 61 necessary seats for a majority coalition.
“This Monday, we will recommend to the president, together with the Religious Zionist Party List, that the task of forming a government be entrusted to Benjamin Netanyahu,” the party said in a statement. Reports also cited that the party would demand a government decision obligating all state institutions to act in accordance with Israel’s Basic Law: “Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People”.

“To that end, the party would demand the establishment of a new government directorate, called “Magen Ha’am” (“Shield of the Nation”), that would be tasked with “detecting and neutralizing foreign influences” on the state”. Among the list of demands was that it would limit foreign influences on Israel:

“We will demand the establishment of a government center to detect and neutralize foreign influences on the State of Israel,” Noam chairman Avi Maoz announced in a statement on Friday. He said that the purpose would be to “prevent foreign anti-Israel elements from penetrating the public arena in the State of Israel and from affecting consciousness, changing values and harming national resilience”.

The center would be called “Magen Ha’Am” or (shield the nation). The chairman of Noam, Avi Maoz, who will reportedly be sworn in as a Knesset member next week, cited that they will recommend to President Rivlin to entrust the task of forming a government to Netanyahu.
This sparked great excitement among many rabbis who stated that it echoes that of “Bible Prophecy” citing passages from Numbers 23:9 and Ezekiel 44:9. “Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki, the medieval Biblical commentator known by the acronym Rashi, explained that Balaam’s vision as described in Numbers referred to Israel, the nation, maintaining its unique traditions and laws.

It is, in fact, prohibited for Jews to have courts and governments based on non-Torah principles. Though there are leniencies that permit doing so in foreign countries under rabbinic supervision (a provision known as dina d’malchuta), this provision does not apply to Jews living in Israel. In that regard, Noam’s Magen Ha’Am would reinstate a framework of governance and justice that sets Israel apart as uniquely serving Hashem, the result of which is described in the next verse”

The basic gist of this speech is that laws need to be enacted in order to enhance the lives of minorities and women due to systemic racism and sexism in the American culture. And yes, it exists among black people too against white people and other non-minorities. So, how should the racism that exists in the world be handled? This is not a simple problem. Some keen observers even noted that a significant rise in Arab voters were counted who voted for the right-wing Likud party.
Why are so many Arabs who support Israel so much? Why do they not dream of living under the Palestinian Authority? The answers are actually not so complicated. The main reasons are not just economic. The main reasons are just as much due to health concerns. But additionally, the negatives of the Palestinian Authority are also a major factor. The Palestinian Authority is unfortunately filled with corruption. That is why so few people who live under the PA feel that they have a governing authority that will take care of them in their later years.

But health care is something that matters for all people, from every age. And Israel treats every Jew and every Arab in exactly the same way. Israel is a country that is the best place to be in the entire Middle East – for Jews, Arabs, and Christians. But, if you press the average Arab who prefers living under Israel than under the Palestinian Authority, a major issue is the law and order that exists within the State of Israel. The Palestinian Authority was labeled a “Kleptocracy” as so little money goes from the top of the pyramid and down to the every man. Israel is the beacon of freedom and democracy in the Middle East, and many Arabs within Israel understand this well.

The Middle East is not like anything people in the West are used to. The rules and norms are different here. Therefore, the sociological implications that govern the way people live and think here must be dealt with if we want to properly deal with the realities on the ground and make a difference.


Yishai Fleisher, the international spokesman of the Jewish community of Hebron, hits it on the nose. The chief emotion and value that matters most in the Middle East is respect. When the Jewish State is run by proud and strong leaders, Arabs begin to respect the Jewish State. When it is run by a waffling leadership that seems to lack a rudder or a spine, then the problems prop up.

But what Yishai says about Arab countries is just as true. Weak Arab leaders who basically do not run their countries effectively also pose a major problem to stability in the Middle East. If a country, like Iraq, is going through constant tumult and changes of leadership, there is no way to have stability. Israel’s bordering countries are Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Not one of them is very stable. Egypt has undergone a major revolution in the last decade and is struggling to not have economic problems stifle it’s attempts to stabilize. Jordan is a country ruled by a friendly dictator, King Hussein, who runs a country that predominantly does not support him. Israel has a peace treaty with them, but always keeps a watchful eye on Jordan because of it’s proximity to unstable Iraq.


Syria has been the scene of a never-ending massive Civil War, where hundreds of thousands of Arabs have killed each other. There is probably no worse example of immoral leadership in the world than Syria’s President Assad. And then – Lebanon. Lebanon has been unstable for so many decades that it is hard to imagine it being anything but unstable. Israel once worked hard to help install a pro-Israel leader, Bashir Gemayel as leader of Lebanon. But he was assassinated right after he was elected. What needs to change in order for their to be peace in the Middle East is the stability of Israel’s Arab neighbors.

The Temple Mount is the holiest place in the world to the Jewish people. But if one were to walk there today, they would see clearly that it is in the hands of the Arabs who are in charge there. Even though the Temple Mount was liberated from the Jordanian occupiers in 1967, Israel made it a point to the local Arabs that they had no intention to remove the Arab mosque that was located on the holiest site of the Jewish people.

Today, any time that a group of Jews want to do as much as pray a short Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount, they are harassed by Arabs who object to any Jewish presence on the Mount. For many Arabs around the State of Israel, the Temple Mount is the most important symbol of their antagonism to Jewish sovereignty in the State of Israel. They have every reason to be concerned. After all, the Temple Mount is the very site that the Jewish Temple stood for more than 800 years and the Jewish people have not stopped yearning for the rebuilding of the Temple.

It is hard to imagine how the Temple Mount will NOT be the site of a major conflagration in the future. After all, the Jewish people, all over the world, are all praying for the rebuilding of the Temple in that spot. On the flip side, even more moderate Arabs would be vehemently opposed to any form of removal of one of their mosques, let alone the Temple Mount. But imagine what would happen if a Jewish child were to walk around an area of a Mosque with a toy machine gun. We have much to pray for if we hope to have peace in the Middle East.

Listening to Jared Kushner speak here is truly amazing. The hand of G-d is always at work, but sometimes it is more noticeable than other times. And when the senior advisor to the president is speaking of the prayers he says daily, it is something to pay attention to. Kushner knows that the only way peace in the Middle East is possible is with G-d’s help. The only way peace ANYWHERE is possible is with G-d’s help. Yes, there are messengers which G-d sends out to complete His will. And Kushner is acknowledging the fact that there are many people to thank. But he is also acknowledging the fact that the ultimate one to thank is G-d Himself. It is one thing to believe it, but it is another thing to publicly say it.

When young kids are being taught that we are not a unified country, but a fragmented group of individuals with no group identity, it is hard to see the exceptional and uniqueness of the United States. That is what Ronald Reagan warned about when he left office. He noticed that the young people seemed to be losing a connection to the basic values of freedom in the United States. The mindset that has become dominant, especially in places like Columbia University, is one that focuses on rights of anybody and everybody to say and feel whatever they like on every issue. Instead of focusing on responsibilities and the good of the aggregate, values of the Left – that seems exclusively focused on the individual – have become dominant.

The intentions of much of the Left are actually not wrong. It is based on a concern for others. But, it has morphed into a racially based identity focused mishmash that destroys more than it creates. It is time to go back to the basics of respect, responsibility and freedom. We need less canceling of culture, more openness, and true freedom of speech.

There are people who are waking up and realizing that what attracted them to the Left were open-mindedness and liberal values. But today, the leftist movement has become dominated by close-mindedness. It is infused with cancel culture, and persistent attempts to erase the differences between men and women.


This is the story of a young woman who realized from the inside that the values of the left are antithetical to those who believe in freedom and open-mindedness. the conservative movement today should be the natural home for freedom-loving and non-racist opinions. It is the movement that believes that accountability is an important part of life and racism is not an essential aspect of the life of Americans anymore.

What confuses the issues often is the history of America’s racism. Of course, it is true that the United States has a rich history of racism and slavery. But between the 1940’s and the 1960’s, the sea change happened. Culminating in the Civil Rights Law that was passed by Lyndon Baines Johnson, the United States of America turned the corner on racism. What is left today are vestiges of the past, just like other non-tolerant attitudes still persist in the United States. But, it does not pervade America the way that leftists often argue.


The freedoms that exist in the United States are indeed the source of all that is good in the United States. Let’s not let some vestiges of the past confuse us about the realities of the present.

Jewish leaders have called for a public inquiry into claims British intelligence may have recruited suspected Nazi war criminals and shielded them from justice.

The shocking allegations were aired in a BBC investigation into the case of suspected Nazi murderer Stanislaw Chrzanowski, who is alleged to have possibly been recruited for intelligence work in the aftermath of the war.
The expose, entitled the Nazi Next Door, revealed allegations that others like Chrzanowski – dubbed the ‘butcher’ for war-time crimes in the Belarussian town of Slonim – may have escaped justice because the intelligence services deleted documents relating to them in the late eighties.

The Shropshire pensioner was linked by witnesses to at least 50 murders and possibly more. He was investigated by the authorities but no charges were brought. He died in 2017 aged 96 and had always denied the allegations.

The president of the Board of Deputies, Marie van der Zyl, slammed the revelation as a “very dark day for Britain and for British Jews.”

“The idea that many Nazi suspects were able to find sanctuary in the UK after the War – and not only that, but that British Intelligence stands accused of having actively facilitated this and protected such people from facing justice – is absolutely staggering,” she said.
She labelled the allegation that intelligence services removed documents relating to Nazi collaborators who worked for them as “monstrous – and one must assume illegal – behaviour.” 

A public inquiry must now be launched, she said. 

The broadcaster’s investigation uncovered the extraordinary tale of how Chrzanowski’s own stepson pursued his only father figure for years in an effort to bring him to justice. 

John Kingston, secretly recorded his stepfather’s protestations, and even went to the town of Slonim himself with a BBC film crew to find witnesses to his stepfather’s alleged crimes. 

He found witnesses who claimed to have seen the murders, including one who said he had shot her husband.

Despite that, the authorities decided not to pursue Chrzanowski, citing lack of evidence.

After Kingston’s death from leukaemia, journalist Nick Southall was handed over the tapes and began investigating the case.

He uncovered newsreel footage from the 1950s which appeared to show the alleged war criminal in a camp in West Berlin which housed refugees fleeing from the East. It was said to be a “hive” of spies.

The film contradicted Chrzanowski’s claim that he had not left UK shores since first arriving in 1946.

One of those who took part in gathering evidence, Holocaust researcher Dr. Stephen Ankier, told Jewish News that Chrzanowski’s appearance on the film raised concerns about his relationship with state authorities because at the time he did not have a passport.

“We have evidence that Chrzanowski was in Berlin in 1953-4, and the intriguing mystery is how could he have got there without a passport?” he asked. 

“The only way that we could rationalise that was if he got there as a person supported by a government agency on agency business. He must have gone there with the full knowledge of some kind of State organisation.”

Dr Ankier added: “If there has been a cover-up, the reasons and circumstances needs to be revealed. And I wouldn’t be surprised if there had been an official cover-up.”

The call for an investigation into whether there were suspected war criminals protected by the state has been echoed by the Holocaust Educational Trust.

“It has long been known that perpetrators of the Holocaust were admitted to the UK after the Second World War – and long suspected that some were recruited and protected by the intelligence services,” said a spokesperson.

They added: “Of a number of suspected cases, only one was successfully prosecuted under the Act. If there is any evidence to suggest that there was the deliberate frustration of the War Crimes Act or that files were destroyed, that must be investigated.”

A Home Office spokesperson did not answer questions from Jewish News on whether documents were destroyed because of the War Crimes Act.

“This case was reviewed by the CPS in the 1990s, but was not proceeded as it did not meet the evidential test. The CPS and its decisions are entirely independent from the Home Office,” said a spokeswoman.

The family unit is under attack. Until the last decade or two, there has never been an issue about this. There were questions about being open-minded about homosexual tendencies. But there was no issue about the regular family unit consisting of a man, a women, and their children that they raise together. Today, there is a strong cancel culture battle that is being fought against anybody who claims that a man is a man and a woman is a woman.
The battle against the family unit is a battle against the identity of a male and the identity of a female. It is not at all the extension of the women’s rights movement of the 60’s. It stands against any idea of the identity of a man or woman being a matter that is set in stone. In today’s new world order, choice is more important than science. Freedom does not merely mean the ability to choose. It means that nothing cannot be chosen. Meaning, there is no right and wrong. There are not unchanging facts. There are only feelings and choices about anything and everything.

What is perhaps more staggering about this is how quickly this movement has gained traction into the society of the Western world. In Muslim countries, this is absolutely forbidden and has not made much headway. But in the West, these ideas have become part and parcel of the openness that have become part of the accepted narrative of what is politically correct.
Let it be said loud and clear. This is not just absurd. It is completely abnormal and will bring down the world if it takes over. A society that has a birth rate of less than a certain amount of children per adult, will necessarily cease to exist after a few generations. But it is more than that. If absurd ideas dominate the leadership of any country, the path to extinction is near. Let us not make the mistake that so many others made in thinking that the Western world is based on ideas that keep it strong. If these ideas are breached, the Western world will face an onslaught from China or elsewhere that will ultimately undermine it’s very existence.

How Arabs Discriminate Against Palestinians

"Palestinians have effectively been stripped of their identity and travel documents by successive Iraqi governments," according to another report by Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.
In 2003 alone, 344 Palestinian families were forcibly expelled from their homes [in Iraq] by militias. Between 2003 and 2016, an estimated 300 Palestinian refugees were killed by these militias.... Palestinians have been demonized even in social media posts as potential 'terrorists' by accounts linked to the [Iraqi] interior ministry." — Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

In 2017, Iraqi President Fuad Masum approved a law that stripped Palestinian refugees living in Iraq of their rights and classified them as foreigners.

The international reaction would, of course, have been completely different if Israel taken such measures against Palestinians. Evidently, no one really does care about the plight of the Palestinians. They are only cared about if they can be made to appear as victims of Israel, never of an Arab country.

Palestinian leaders are much too busy attacking Israel and demanding that the International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecute Israelis for alleged "war crimes" against the Palestinians to notice the suffering of Palestinians at the hands of an Arab country.

The ICC, which appears obsessed with Israel, is unlikely to launch an investigation into Iraq's ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. Likewise, the United Nations Security Council is unlikely to hold an emergency session to denounce Iraq for its discriminatory measures against the Palestinians. The international media, for its part, will also continue their usually venomous -- and usually unjustified -- attacks on Israel, while ignoring the horrendous treatment the Palestinians receive from their Arab brothers.


Iraq is among the many Arab countries where Palestinians continue to face discriminatory measures and laws. Worse, it seems the Iraqi authorities are carrying out a policy of ethnic cleansing against the few thousand Palestinians who still live in Iraq. The Palestinian Authority (PA) has invited Iraq to send observers to monitor the Palestinian parliamentary elections, if and when they are held on May 22. The invitation was extended to Mohamed al-Halbousi, Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq, by the PA ambassador to Iraq, Ahmed Akl, during a meeting in Baghdad.

It is not clear whether the Iraqis have accepted the invitation. What is clear, however, is that Iraq is among the many Arab countries where Palestinians continue to face discriminatory measures and laws.

Worse, it seems the Iraqi authorities are carrying out a policy of ethnic cleansing against the few thousand Palestinians who still live in Iraq.

According to a recent report, the Iraqi authorities are now demanding that Palestinians who leave Iraq for a period exceeding three months apply for an entry visa.

The International Criminal Court is indeed a kangaroo court. The fact that the word “international” is used in it’s description does not make it in any way a real court. The ICC is a perfect example of selective indignation, wherein only if a Jew builds a house in East Jerusalem, then that makes it into a horrible crime. However, when Syria kills hundreds of thousands of it’s own civilians, the ICC says nothing. The fake claim that it can only speak about countries where it has jurisdiction is absolutely ludicrous. The ICC has no jurisdiction against the State of Israel and has no moral standing in the world.

Who does have moral standing in the world today to cast judgments on other countries? There is no simple answer to that. But the ICC certainly does not.

Israel has always been a beacon of freedom in the Middle East for the entire region. There has never been a time that we have seen this more clearly than in the last few years. One country after another is rushing to make peace with Israel in order to advance the economic growth of their country. The credit for this needs to go to the entrepreneurial norms in the State of Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu is the main political leader who has impacted on this norm. He understood back in the 1990’s that in order for Israel to achieve peace with it’s Arab neighbors, it first needed to outshine them economically. Then, they would fall like dominoes and walk into the negotiating room in order to share in the wealth. This is what has occurred in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. They care more about economic opportunity and less about the rights of the so-called “Palestinians.”


Because of Israel’s economic prowess, Arab countries are becoming more modernized and open-minded. This is leading to the advancement of women’s rights and the general opening of borders in these countries too. So, instead of criticizing Israel, Israel should be lauded for it’s record on human rights. Syria, Iraq and Iran are the countries who have deplorable records on human rights.

In a stunningly rare discovery, dozens of 2,000-year-old biblical scroll fragments have been excavated from Judean Desert caves during a daring rescue operation. Most of the newly discovered scroll fragments — the first such finds in 60 years — are Greek translations of the books of Zechariah and Nahum from the Book of the Twelve Minor Prophets, and are written in two scribal hands. Only the name of God is written in Hebrew in the texts.

The fragments from the Prophets have been identified as coming from a larger scroll that was found in the 1950s, in the same “Cave of Horror” in Nahal Hever, which is some 80 meters (260 feet) below a cliff top. According to an Israel Antiquities Authority press release, the cave is “flanked by gorges and can only be reached by rappelling precariously down the sheer cliff.”

Along with the “new” biblical scroll fragments from the Books of the Minor Prophets, the team excavated a huge 10,500-year-old perfectly preserved woven basket — the oldest complete basket in the world — and a 6,000-year-old mummified skeleton of a child, tucked into its blanket for a final sleep.

Since 2017, the IAA has spearheaded an unprecedented rescue operation to salvage ancient artifacts from caves throughout the Judean Desert against the rampant looting that has occurred in the area since the much-heralded — and lucrative — discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls by Bedouin shepherds some 70 years ago. On Tuesday morning, a sample of the dazzling discoveries were unveiled for the first time.

“The desert team showed exceptional courage, dedication and devotion to purpose, rappelling down to caves located between heaven and earth, digging and sifting through them, enduring thick and suffocating dust, and returning with gifts of immeasurable worth for mankind,” said Israel Antiquities Authority’s director Israel Hasson, who led the widespread rescue operation, in an IAA press release.

“The newly discovered scroll fragments are a wake-up call to the state. Resources must be allocated for the completion of this historically important operation. We must ensure that we recover all the data that has not yet been discovered in the caves before the robbers do. Some things are beyond value,” Hasson said.

In an optimistic attempt to be one step ahead of looters, the inter-departmental national project was launched in 2017 to survey Judean Desert caves. A few promising caves were subsequently excavated at some colorfully named locations, including the Cave of Horror — where over 40 skeletons have thus far been uncovered — and the Cave of Skulls. About 20 more promising caves could be excavated in the next stage of the operation, provided the budget is allocated.

The operation was undertaken by the IAA, in cooperation with the Staff Officer of the Archaeology Department of the Civil Administration in Judea and Samaria, and funded by the Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage. About half of the Judean Desert, including the original source of most of the Dead Sea Scrolls at Qumran, is located in the West Bank beyond the Green Line.


“For years we chased after antiquities looters. We finally decided to pre-empt the thieves and try reaching the artifacts before they were removed from the ground and the caves,” said Amir Ganor, head of the IAA’s Theft Prevention Unit.

So far, some 80 kilometers (50 miles) and 500 caves have been systematically surveyed by three teams led by IAA archaeologists Oriah Amichai, Hagay Hamer and Haim Cohen. Ganor estimates that about 25 percent of the Judean Desert has not yet been surveyed. Using drones and high-tech rappelling and mountain-climbing gear, archaeologists and a team of volunteers from pre-military academies have been able to access many hitherto “unreachable” caves — some of which hadn’t been entered by a human being for almost two millennia.

The biblical scrolls are among the highlights of the newly excavated artifacts, but are by no means the only extraordinary discoveries:

‘New’ biblical scrolls

Looters and archaeologists alike have combed the Judean Desert since the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls some 70 years ago. Aside from two silver scrolls engraved with the biblical Priestly Blessing (from the late 7th to early 6th century BCE) discovered in Ketef Hinnom in Jerusalem, the Dead Sea Scrolls are considered the earliest known copies of the biblical books and span from circa 400 BCE to 300 CE.

The latest identified finds, two dozen 2,000-year-old biblical scroll fragments from the books of Zechariah and Nahum, were discovered in clumps and rolled up in the Cave of Horror. The conservation and study of the fragments was conducted by the IAA’s Dead Sea Scrolls Unit under Tanya Bitler, Dr. Oren Ableman and Beatriz Riestra.

The team has so far reconstructed 11 lines of Greek text that was translated from Zechariah 8:16–17, as well as verses from Nahum 1:5–6. They join nine, much more extant fragments that were discovered by Yochanan Aharoni, who first surveyed the Cave of Horrors in 1953.

On the new fragments, as well as in the Greek translation scroll discovered by Aharoni, only the name of God appears in Hebrew. It is written in the Paleo-Hebrew script used during the First Temple period, as well as by some adherents of the Bar Kochba revolt (132–136 CE), including on coinage, and in the Qumran community.

Among the academic fruit already born of the new discovery is the realization that the “new” Greek translation is different from the traditional Masoretic texts.

“These differences can tell us quite a bit regarding the transmission of the biblical text up until the days of the Bar Kochba Revolt, documenting the changes that occurred over time until reaching us in the current version,” said the IAA.

Oldest basket in the world
IKEA would do well to take note of the craftsmanship shown on a stunning woven basket dating from some 10,500 years ago — some 1,000 years prior to the first known pottery vessels — which was hailed by the IAA as “currently unparalleled worldwide.”

The massive 90-100 liter (24-26 gallon)-volume receptacle was discovered by youth volunteers from the Nofei Prat pre-military leadership academy. The exciting discovery took place in one of the Muraba’at Caves, which have previously offered up caches of Roman-era papers and Bar Kochba Revolt remnants, which are found in the Nahal Darga Reserve.

The basket is being studied by the IAA’s Dr. Naama Sukenik and Dr. Ianir Milevski and was dated using carbon-14, by Prof. Elisabetta Boaretto of the Scientific Archaeology Unit of the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Due to the arid climate of the region, the huge Pre-Pottery Neolithic period basket, woven in a unique style from plant material, was preserved whole. “As far as we know, this is the oldest basket in the world that has been found completely intact and its importance is therefore immense,” said the IAA.

Unfortunately, the basket was discovered empty. “Only future research of a small amount of soil remaining inside it will help us discover what it was used for and what was placed in it,” said the IAA.

Mummified child
Some 6,000 years ago, a parent tucked his child in with a blanket for its eternal sleep. The complete skeleton is being researched by the IAA’s Ronit Lupu and Dr. Hila May from the Tel Aviv University School of Medicine, who estimate it was 6-12 years old, based on a CT scan.

Fittingly, the cloth-wrapped child was discovered in the Cave of Horror. According to prehistorian Lupu, after moving two flat stones, the team discovered that a shallow pit had been intentionally dug beneath the stones that held the child’s skeleton, which was placed in a fetal position and covered with a cloth around its head and chest.

“It was obvious that whoever buried the child had wrapped him up and pushed the edges of the cloth beneath him, just as a parent covers his child in a blanket. A small bundle of cloth was clutched in the child’s hands,” said Lupu. Due to the arid conditions in the cave, the child was naturally mummified. The cloth and other organic materials, including hair and even skin and tendons, were likewise preserved.

Several of the caves offered random finds left behind by Jewish rebels who fled to the caves at the end of the Bar Kochba Revolt, including a cache of coins that were overstruck with Jewish rebels’ symbols such as a harp and a date palm, an array of arrowheads and spearheads, pieces of woven fabric, sandals and lice combs, which illustrated the everyday items taken by the fleeing Jews.

Ofer Sion, head of the IAA’s Surveys Department, said, “The high cliffs of 300-400 meters [985-1,300 feet] in a single drop with these enigmatic ravines that no one reaches were the ultimate haven. And in one period in human history, families fled to the caves in the Judean Desert, and we really don’t know anything else.”

Archaeologist Oriah Amichai explained that the families clearly planned what they would be taking from home, “when one day, when the war will be finished, what they will be able to use to build a new life. We come here and reconstruct the lives of those who didn’t survive in the end,” she said.

The ongoing operation intends to continue searching for vestiges of the past that connect with all Israeli citizens, regardless of creed. As emphasized by Avi Cohen, the CEO of the Ministry of Jerusalem and Heritage, “These finds are not just important to our own cultural heritage, but to that of the entire world.”

There is no better place to be an Arab in the Middle East than the State of Israel. Israel supplies all of the best medical care to all Jews and Arabs alike. One can argue that Arabs who claim to be part of a “Palestinian nation” should be able to set up their own State. One can even argue that the “Palestinians” have been oppressed. In my opinion, there was no such thing as a “Palestinian Nation” until the recent decades when the concept was created as part of a salami strategy to weaken the State of Israel and then fight to destroy it.
I am a Palestinian and I was vaccinated in #Israel. Groups like @jvplive and @BDSmovement are saying that Israel only vaccinates Jews. This is a LIE! Israel is at the front lines of giving the #Covid19 vaccine to all.
However, no rational person who lives or visits the State of Israel and walks into ANY hospital, would think that Israel does not take care of the medical needs of Arabs. Actually, hospitals are the best example of coexistence in the entire State of Israel. Not only hospitals, but emergency vehicles traverse the entire State of Israel every day and save Jews and Arabs alike. Who are the ambulance drivers and medics? Jews and Arabs alike. Who are the wounded? Jews and Arabs alike. Who treats them in hospitals? Jewish and Arab doctors alike. So, the entire argument of Jews not treating Arabs or vaccinating Arabs has absolutely no connection to reality. It is not just fake news. It is the exact opposite of reality.

As a matter of fact, when I recently was vaccinated, an Arab medic vaccinated me while right next to us, a Jewish medic vaccinated an Arab, and there was nothing odd about this. It happens every day, all across the State of Israel. Don’t believe the lies. Israel has been and continues to be the best place for an Arab to be in the Middle East, even if a fringe of the population complains about it.

The Israeli economy is in need of rebuilding. The United States economy is in need of rebuilding. All of the economies of the world are in need of rebuilding. The United States has Joe Biden leading the way, and with Congress, the United States has made the decision to hand out billions of dollars in order to boost the economy. It seems like it will certainly provide a short-term boost to the economy. But will it saddle future generations with enormous debt that will lead to even more dependence on China? We shall see.
However, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is perfectly poised to pick up a struggling economy and free up the State of Israel in order to allow the State of Israel to recover. Israel will also be using major stimulus payments in order to boost up the recovery. But more than anything else, the State of Israel needs to not only let things loosen up, but they need to make sure that Israeli companies are able to import and export via free trade practices and quick testing for corona. Businessmen travelling from abroad are the major investors that need to know that they will be able to freely come in to the State of Israel to analyze and invest in hi-tech companies that have major potential.

Israel’s present Prime Minister Netanyahu was formerly the Finance Minister of the State of Israel under Ariel Sharon. He was both popular and unpopular. He was unpopular with those who were used to living off of handouts and major subsidies. But he was supported by those who were looking to turn Israel into the Start-Up Nation. He succeeded despite causing a lot of angst among those who were accustomed to getting a thousand dollar check each month from the government. But Netanyahu persisted and brought the Israeli economy to levels of growth that were unheard of in the State of Israel. There will probably be a major economic boom in the coming years in the State of Israel.

When Prime Minister Netanyahu searched for a solution when he searched for a vaccine for the Coronavirus, there were a few different companies that were developing vaccines. Israel also has some serious research going on. But, the first companies out of the gate were Pfizer and Moderna. They came out with similar vaccines that claimed to be 95% successful at keeping people protected from the coronavirus pandemic.


What made the Pfizer solution so unique was that the CEO of Pfizer happened to be a person with unique lineage and therefore had a unique connection to the State of Israel. His parents were survivors of the Holocaust from Greece. Of all of the countries in Europe, Greece had one of the smallest Jewish populations. Yet, they were also hit very hard, and less than a few percent survived. A few of the lucky ones were the parents of the Pfizer CEO, Albert Bourla. As a child of Holocaust survivors, he well understands the unique situation of the Jewish State.


When Prime Minister Netanyahu picked up the phone and called him incessantly, he understood that Netanyahu meany business. What ended up happening is that Israel became the first country to be more than 50% vaccinated, and seems to be well on it’s way to herd immunity. Bourla explains here that Netanyahu did not let up and made absolutely sure that Israel would have sufficient vaccines for all those who wanted to vaccinate. There are tens of countries that wish they were in Israel’s situation today – thanks to Benjamin Netanyahu and Pfizer.

But controversy exists and will continue to exist about how it started in China. Even those who think that the virus was not created intentionally may very well think that China made a concerted effort to cover up the seriousness of the virus for several months. Those few months cost the world more than 1 million dead. But something else happened that is very important. The veil on China’s authoritarian dictatorship has been lifted, and the threat that they pose to the world is now recognized as a clear and present danger in the years ahead.

This has not been the viewpoint of previous Presidents or Republican candidates for President. Mitt Romney clearly stated that he viewed Russia as the #1 strategic foe. Barack Obama rarely focused on China as a threat. This was a unique viewpoint that Donald Trump the candidate espoused as part of his America-first economics and trade-oriented foreign policy.

Due to the horrible effects of the coronavirus and President Trump’s harping on what he calls the “China virus,” most North Americans today would probably agree that China is the main threat. They are both an economic and military threat. Any country that has the most money, with the largest military, and the production of the vast majority of goods in the world that the West has grown addicted to, has truly amassed a huge amount of power.


What can be done to combat this? This is the $64,000 question. President Trump has advanced policies that shift the trade imbalance back to strengthening the United States manufacturing base. This is certainly a good move – especially on things such as pharmaceuticals. But will that be enough? Almost definitely not. If there is one thing that multilateralism is important for, it should be to contain the threat from China. When one bully gains too much strength, the key is to sideline the bully as much as possible. China is perhaps the wealthiest country in the world, but they lose their power to the extent that the buying countries do not cooperate with them. The reason this is so difficult to combat is the enormous power of big tech, and big tech’s cooperation with China. This will require nerves of steel from politicians who will probably lose much of their support if they confront the power of big tech and China head on. But, let us not make the mistake of thinking that big tech and China will become less powerful if we ignore the threat. The gorilla will only get larger if we keep feeding it bananas.

Has the world gone mad? Any sane person today should be thinking these things when Dr. Rachel Levine, the new nominee for making national health decisions for the United States, neatly evades basic questions like those that Senator Rand Paul asked her.

There are legitimate sensitive health questions that have major ethical ramifications. Should abortion be legal? If so, at what stage in a pregnancy? If not, what about the situation when a pregnant woman’s life is at risk. These are the kinds of things that should be dealt with. But in today’s climate, the supreme issues are the feelings of transgenders in public places. Women’s sports competitions are now invaded by transgender men who will have a far better chance on the women’s side. Children raised in homes without a mother and a father, but by two mothers or two fathers or two transgenders, will not become normative people with normative family lives. But, this is not politically correct today. We need to be sensitive to the feelings of any choices people make – no matter how absurd their actions may be. We need a return to normalcy.

Palestinian Terrorists to Biden: Do Not Believe the Palestinian Leadership

Who exactly is the Palestinian Authority leadership lying to and why?

Hamas issued a statement on February 25 in which it denied that the group had changed its attitude toward Israel. "Our political and national positions are well known and clear," Hamas said. "They are expressed in our official documents and publications. We remain committed to the resistance until the liberation [of all of Palestine]."

Hamas "will pursue its resistance program until the liberation of the Palestinian land, from the [Jordan] river to the [Mediterranean] sea." — Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas leader, alalamtv.net, February 20, 2021.

The Palestinian terror groups certainly deserve credit for being upfront about their true, lethal intentions toward Israel. Unlike the PA leadership, these terror organizations speak in a single and straightforward voice. Their message in Arabic and English is clear: we will spill as much Jewish blood as it takes to rid "Palestine" of the Jews.

Abbas is seeking to fool the Biden administration into believing that he has managed to persuade the terror groups to transform themselves into peace-seeking organizations. Abbas is utterly desperate for US funding. He is lying through his teeth to get the Biden administration to resume pumping cash into his regime -- which is bankrupt in every possible sense of the word.

It now remains to be seen whether the Biden administration will allow itself to be hoodwinked by the PA's master magician.

Hamas and its allies, including Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), are actually saying that the PA leadership is lying when it says that the terror groups have changed their attitude toward Israel.

This raises the question: Who exactly is the PA leadership lying to and why?

The US and the UN Nuclear Inspectors Must Stop Appeasing Iran

In the latest example of Iran's increasingly reckless approach to the nuclear issue, the country's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has threatened to increase uranium enrichment to 60 percent, just below the 90 percent threshold required to produce weapons grade material.

Thus, while IAEA director general Rafael Grossi claimed the talks had been a success, the IAEA now finds itself in the invidious position whereby it will not be able to ascertain whether Iran is actively working to produce nuclear weapons until after the event.

Even Mr Grossi has been forced to concede that, as a result of Iran's decision to withdraw access to inspection teams, the IAEA's ability to monitor Iran's activities will be reduced by 70 percent.

In the latest blow to the IAEA's credibility, within hours of Mr Grossi concluding his compromise deal, Mr Khamenei exposed the futility of this approach with his threat that Iran was prepared to increase uranium enrichment to 60 percent, a move that would make any attempt to revive the JCPOA utterly doomed.

As Iran continues to maintain its defiance over its controversial nuclear programme, the failure of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN-body responsible for monitoring Iran's activities, is only lending further encouragement to the ayatollahs to indulge in further acts of dangerous brinkmanship. Free speech is one of the most precious things that people in the United States have. But, CNN and many leaders of the Democratic party today argue that the norms of political discourse are under attack through mass disinformation. There is – of course – some truth that there is much disinformation out there today. But, the solution should never ever be to shut down free speech. The solution is more speech.


The mass of disinformation that exists today is dominated by the progressive left. Tucker Carlson properly points out that the massive fallacy that is spread today by CNN and other mass media outlets is that there are massive numbers of unarmed Black Americans that are shot by policemen in America. Carlson points out the important fact that 27 unarmed Black Americans were shot last year. This of course means that there should be investigations into each and every instance of this. But 27 people shot in one year is not a massive national problem. In Chicago, there are more people shot than that on many weekends.

The key to solving problems is not about shutting down people’s rights, but insuring their rights. The solution in the United States and elsewhere is never about less freedom, but about more freedom. The far-Left has begun a deep descent into a much more socialist-oriented agenda. The worst part is not just the attempt to bring everyone to the same flat line. The worst problem is the attempt to cancel freedoms in order to empower a select few that will decide for the masses what is best for them. Tucker Carlson nails it as he explains that the mass media and a few far-left Democrats have the most to lose from freedom of speech. The more people understand the threats to their lifestyle, the more they will complain and hold the far-left responsible.
