Hamas operatives are being allowed to plan attacks against Israel from Turkey, according to an eye-opening report in The Telegraph.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan warmly greeted Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Istanbul on Saturday, but the relationship between the two is deeper and closer than with Turkey’s surrounding nations.

According to The Telegraph, Israel has frequently told Turkey that attacks were being planned on its soil, but Erdoğan said “We will keep on supporting our brothers in Palestine.”
In transcripts with suspects interrogated by the Israel Police, it was revealed, according to the report,  that Hamas members in Istanbul are managing operations in Jerusalem and the West Bank. One such event was the assassination attempt on the former mayor of Jerusalem Nir Barkat, earlier this year.
Hamas has been granted sanctuary in the Middle-Eastern country despite the terrorist organization’s status in both the West and now some Arab nations.
In a 2011 interview with PBS, then-prime minister Erdoğan said: “Let me give you a very clear message. I don’t see Hamas as a terror organization. Hamas is a political party. And it is an organization. It is a resistance movement trying to protect its country under occupation.”
According to The Telegraph report, Hamas denied planning attacks from Turkey and said Israel’s claims are “baseless allegations” which will damage political relations with the country.

Terror tunnels will play a major part in the next armed conflict on Israel's northern and southern border, making them a serious threat the IDF is gearing up to counter, a senior military official said Sunday.

Maj. Gen. Mickey Edelstein, who heads the military's counter-tunnel warfare development efforts, further said that some of the tactics already developed for underground warfare will soon become obsolete.

Edelstein was speaking at a symposium titled "Subterranean Challenges in War and Peace," hosted by the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya in collaboration with the United States Military Academy of West Point and the US Embassy in Israel.

"There is a need to change many of the basic assumptions. The enemy wants to force us to operate above and below ground at the same time, in order to exhaust us and lead to further attacks against civilians," he said.
Edelstein noted that with respect to urban warfare, buildings that have been cleared of terrorists could still pose a risk due to tunnels.

"If in the past there was the question of whether we could counter the terror tunnels without entering them – we won't have this privilege in the future. There is a 100% chance that we will face the challenge of the tunnels in Gaza and in Lebanon."

He further noted that the threat posed by terror tunnels in the northern sector is unequivocal.

"Every village has tunnels," he said, adding that the IDF is sparing no effort to meet this challenge.

"Tunnel warfare reduced nearly all the advantaged you have when fighting above ground to almost zero, be it with respect to firepower, engaging the enemy, and the troops' movement," he explained.

"One of the problems is that we don’t have the intelligence capability to discern the location of each and every tunnel. No one unit can do handle locating a tunnel and neutralize it – we need an entire strategic lineup for that," he said.

Satellite images released last week by ImageSat International showed that construction of an underground storage tunnel for missiles is underway at a Shiite militia base in northeastern Syria that was built by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

According to the images, the tunnel is being dug near a crossing over the Syria-Iraq border.

The Imam Ali base, where the tunnel is under construction, is the crown jewel of Iran's presence in Syria.

It allows access to a land corridor that extends from Iraq to Iran, eliminating the need for IRGC personnel to maintain air bases, which are vulnerable to Israeli strikes.

The tunnel exposed on Tuesday proves that the base is designed to accommodate advanced weapon systems that the Iranians could use in a future conflict with Israel.

An ancient tomb in Jerusalem prized for its archaeological and religious importance was reopened for visits Thursday by France, which owns it, after a dispute over access scuttled an earlier attempt.

The site known as the Tomb of the Kings in East Jerusalem can now be visited during set hours twice per week, but visitors must pre-register online and pay a NIS 10 fee ($3, €2.50), the French consulate said.

Around 30 people — the most allowed at one time due to the sensitivity of the site — visited when the gates opened on Thursday morning, mainly ultra-Orthodox Jews who wanted to pray inside.

Around a dozen other ultra-Orthodox danced and prayed outside the gates while they waited for their turn to visit the 2,000-year-old tomb as police kept a close eye.

“This is a special event,” said Yehuda Twerski, a 20-year-old ultra-Orthodox Jew from New York studying religion in Jerusalem.

“We’re going in there to pray. Perhaps with proper negotiations maybe it will be open more often to the public.”

Ultra-Orthodox Jews describe the tomb as a holy burial site of ancient Jewish kings.

France had attempted to open the site to visitors in June after having kept it closed since 2010, initially due to renovations but later because attempts to contest its ownership complicated its reopening.

It however immediately re-closed the site after a group of more than a dozen ultra-Orthodox tried to enter and pray, shoving toward the gate, despite not having signed up as requested.

The site is a remarkable example of a Roman-era tomb, considered among the largest in the region.

Its unique status, Jewish veneration of the burial site and its location in the disputed east of the city added to complications in reopening it.

Archaeological sites in East Jerusalem are often freighted with religious significance and questions linked to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

There had been a challenge at Israel’s rabbinical court — which rules on matters related to Jewish law and holy sites — over access to the tomb and France’s ownership.

Before reopening the site, France sought guarantees from Israel it would not face legal challenges as well as commitments on how visits would be managed.

Visitors are not allowed to descend into the tomb itself and can only visit the exterior, which includes ritual baths and an ancient frieze above its entry.

Excavations of the site began in the 1860s, with Felicien de Saulcy of France taking on the project in 1863 and seeking to confirm it was the tomb of the biblical kings. That theory has been ruled out, but the name has endured.

Several sarcophagi were found inside and are now in the Louvre museum in Paris, including one with an Aramaic inscription. According to the most commonly accepted theory, it refers to Queen Helena of Adiabene, in today’s Iraqi Kurdistan, and she may have built the tomb for her dynasty.

After de Saulcy’s excavation, the tomb was purchased by the Pereire brothers, a Jewish banking family in Paris that would later hand the property over to France.

Many of you may have been watching your screens at 10 o’clock last night, as the exit poll forecast a healthy Conservative majority.

But the moment which best summed up the night for Labour, as well as the attitude of those who have assumed control of the party apparatus in recent years, came not long afterwards.

Jon Lansman, the head of the far-left Momentum pressure group, appeared on the BBC and attempted to defend the Corbyn project.

“It’s all very well saying the policies have been rejected,” he told an incredulous presenter.

“But how do you explain the fact that the poll says in Putney there’s an 85% chance of a Labour victory? The voters in Putney aren’t horrified by the policies.”

As goes Putney, so goes…well, just Putney. The South London seat was the only one in the entire country gained by Labour last night.

While there are a number of faces the Jewish community will not miss on the benches of the Commons, perhaps foremost among them is Chris Williamson, the now former MP from Derby North. The man who said earlier this year that Labour had been “too apologetic” regarding antisemitism in the Labour party ran as an independent candidate. He came in last place, failing to receive enough votes to get back his deposit.

But there are many others whose presence in the Commons will be greatly missed – both MPs who are Jewish, such as Luciana Berger, Ruth Smeeth and Louise Ellman, and those who are long-standing friends of Britain’s Jews, including Ian Austin, Joan Ryan, John Mann and Mike Gapes – and far more besides.

Now, however, the focus will turn to what the Labour party does next. Already, certain MPs have begun to position themselves for an upcoming leadership contest – eagle-eyed watchers may have been able to detect leadership themes last night during some individual constituency victory speeches.

At this point, Mr Corbyn has indicated that he will step down as leader, but has employed characteristic vagueness regarding when. There are two main schools of thought on the issue; one would have him step down now, without any delay, so that the rebuilding process can begin. Others have already suggested that Mr Corbyn remain in place for the time being – at least until the Equality and Human Rights Commission comes back with the results of their investigation into accusations of institutional antisemitism in the party. That way, there is no doubt as to where the ultimate blame for this situation should be placed.

Whenever it comes, this leadership election will be viewed, at least by some, as an opportunity for the Labour party to make a clean break from the last four and a half years, entering a new chapter. But while many within our community will doubtless be happy to see the back of Mr Corbyn, we know that the issues within the party will not simply cease to exist when he departs.

During Jeremy Corbyn’s time as leader, the Board of Deputies, along with other communal organisations, repeatedly made a series of recommendations as to how the party could begin to rid itself of anti-Jewish racism – most of these were ignored. Mr Corbyn’s successor will not be able to properly deal with Labour’s antisemitism problem unless they take a very different attitude to this ongoing problem.

Jeremy Corbyn defended his “extremely popular” policies and blamed Brexit for Labour’s devastating defeat as he announced he would stand down as leader after overseeing a “period of reflection”.

With the Tories expected to cruise to a comfortable majority, a deflated Mr Corbyn said it had been a “very disappointing night”, with support crumbling in former Labour heartlands.

Mr Corbyn acknowledged that he had to leave Labour’s helm after suffering a second General Election defeat as he criticised media “attacks” towards himself, his family and the party.

“I want to also make it clear that I will not lead the party in any future general election campaign,” he said as he accepted victory in his Islington North constituency.

“I will discuss with our party to ensure there is a process now of reflection on this result and on the policies that the party will take going forward.

“And I will lead the party during that period to ensure that discussion takes place and we move on into the future.”

The General Election exit poll forecast Labour to shed 52 seats to secure 191 – the party’s poorest result since 1935. And it put the Tories as securing 368 seats, giving the party a majority of 86.

Mr Corbyn defended putting forward a “manifesto of hope” that would help wrong the injustices and inequalities gripping the nation and tackle the climate crisis.

“All of those policies were extremely popular during the election campaign and remain policies that have huge popular support all across this country,” he said in the Sobell Leisure Centre in Holloway, north London.

“However Brexit has so polarised and divided debate in this country it has overridden so much of a normal political debate and I recognise that has contributed to the results that the Labour party has received this evening all across this country.”

Mr Corbyn ran as an outside candidate for the party leadership in 2015 and managed to outlast two Tory prime ministers.

The veteran campaigner, joined at the election count by wife Laura Alvarez and emotional colleagues, said he will remain as MP in the constituency he has represented since 1983.

Labour’s official line was to blame Brexit for dominating the discourse, but the leader was coming under mounting pressure to depart after being cited as being the greater problem on the doorstep.

A leadership battle that could once again expose deep divisions in the party is set to follow.

Jewish Brexit Party candidate, Yosef David, challenged Corbyn in his seat – and could be seen chatting with the Labour leader before the result was announced.

He told Jewish News Corbyn had been “very friendly and personable” and enquired about the campaign.

“I told him that I had suffered a huge amount of antisemitic abuse. I told him that it was about the Rothschilds and conspiracies about Jews running the world and that I had been called a Nazi and a fascist more times then I can remember,” he said.

“He said that this was disgusting and that it’s abhorrent. I told him that I don’t think he is able to empathise with the Jewish community but that I didn’t think he was an antisemite but rather had opened the door to it,” he added.

Jeremy Corbyn has been a central focus of the Jewish community’s concerns over antisemitism – with thousands twice taking to Parliament Square to protest inaction of Jew-hate in the party he leads.

Labour’s Ruth Smeeth called for Jeremy Corbyn to resign as she faced losing her seat in Stoke-on-Trent North to the Conservatives.

The parliamentary chair of the Jewish Labour Movement branded her loss a “disaster” as she branded her party’s performance “appalling”.


She said: “I have lost, I am no longer MP – this is a disaster. Jeremy Corbyn should resign now before his own count is in.”

Speaking on Sky News, she said it was “an appalling night for my constituents and an appalling night for the country.

“The Labour Party has huge huge questions to answer by first of all having this general election when they were so ill prepared for it, but then having this option available to the country, having this platform, having this leadership, and allowing this devastation to hit all of our communities.

“This is an appalling heartbreaking night for the Labour Party – but I’m now much more worried about what happens to my constituents.”

Asked where the finger should be pointed, she replied “Jeremy Corbyn.”

Jeremy Corbyn should announce that he is resigning as leader of the Labour Party from his count today.

He should have gone many many many months ago. I was parliamentary chair of the Jewish Labour Movement. We passed a motion of no confidence in him in April. There is absolutely no justification for why he’s still there. And his personal actions have delivered this result.”

Ms Smeeth has been critical of Mr Corbyn’s handling of antisemitism allegations in the Labour party. She is a Remain supporter in an area which voted to Leave the EU.

Smeeth tallied 14,688 votes, losing to Tory rival Jonathan Gullis with 20,974, a swing of 7 percent. 
In the last 12 months, Smeeth gave an impassioned speech in parliament detailing the antisemitic abuse she received.

She was also at the centre of controversy in 2015 when Labour launched Baroness Shami Chakrabarti’s report into antisemitism. Expelled activist Mark Wadsworth, an ally of Jeremy Corbyn, heckled her accusing her of handing out briefing against the Labour leader, leading to her leaving the event in tears.

A statement from the Jewish Labour Movement – a group affiliated to Labour for close to a century – paid tribute to Ruth Smeeth on Friday morning, saying she “represented the best of Labour over these past few years – unafraid and determined to hold the party’s leadership accountable for their failure to tackle antisemitism despite the abuse she’s faced.”

Michael Gove said British Jews “should never have to live in fear again” after Boris Johnson led the Conservatives to an historic win, with Labour facing its worst electoral defeat since 1935.

Gove, who secured 34,358 votes, addressed a rally in Surrey Heath hours after Jeremy Corbyn announced he would not lead the Labour Party at the next election but would step down after “a period of reflection.”


Stood at a lectern marked “the people’s government,” he issued a personal message to Anglo-Jewry, describing the community as “a very special group of people, our Jewish friends and neighbours.”

“You have had to live in fear for months now concerns we will have a prime minister who trafficked in anti-Jewish rhetoric and embraced anti-Jewish terrorists. You should never have to live in fear again,” he said, prompting a round of applause from supporters.

Police have arrested a 17-year-old Madagascar native in connection with the assault of an Israeli student speaking Hebrew on a Paris subway.

The teen has admitted to assaulting the Israeli student, but denied that he had anti-Semitic motivations, Israel’s Kan national broadcaster reported. He has an arrest record in France.

The victim, identified as Yogev Burshtein, 30, entered the metro train at the Château d’Eau station on Monday morning and answered a phone call from his father speaking Hebrew. Two men, described as tall and of African origin, then “began to shout at him, helped by passengers who threatened him and pointed at him,” according to a statement from France’s National Bureau of Vigilance Against anti-Semitism, or BNVCA.

One of the men attacked the student, striking him on the head, body and face. The student fainted, according to BNVCA, and was taken to a Paris hospital after a fellow passenger called for assistance.

The alleged attacker escaped. He was identified though surveillance camera footage. He was arrested Wednesday evening on charges of racially motivated violence.

The police are searching for a second suspect who was on the train with the arrested teen.

BNVCA praised the arrest in a statement and said the attack should be considered a hate crime, saying “the anti-Semitic motive is clear and must be used against the attacker as an aggravating circumstance.”

The anti-Semitism watchdog called for a harsh penalty despite the fact that the suspect is a minor.

Iran has begun excavating tunnels at its Imam Ali base in Syria near the Iraqi border that will be used to store and move weapons, according to new satellite images and a report from Fox News. The base has been under construction for more than a year and is a key part of Iran’s infrastructure in Syria linking Iran via Iraq to Syria and Lebanon. Syrian, regional Arabic media and Russian sources have accused Israel of airstrikes at or near the location going back to June 2018.
The tunnels are estimated to be 130 meters long and wide enough to drive a car through. Image Sat International (ISI), which provided the satellite images and wrote a report, noted that at least one tunnel is being excavated and that the construction accelerated “a few weeks after the base was attacked for the first time,” on September 9, 2019. In the wake of that attack, an Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps group attempted to fire rockets at Israel from near Damascus.

Rumours of a likely Israel visit from Prince Charles swirled this week as sources indicated that the future king was making plans to visit the Jewish state.

The Prince of Wales is a well-known friend of the Jewish community who last week paid tribute to the contribution of British Jews by hosting a reception for community representatives at Buckingham Palace.

He is understood to be planning to join other world leaders when they visit Israel at the end of January for Holocaust Memorial Day, as the world marks 75 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Charles last visited Israel in September 2016 for the funeral of Shimon Peres, and before that in 1995, for the funeral of slain Israeli premier Yitzhak Rabin, meaning any new visit – if confirmed in the coming weeks – would be his third.

A Royal visit had recently been hinted at by Neil Wigan, Britain’s new ambassador in Tel Aviv, who said he was “very optimistic” of arranging it during an interview on Israeli TV on 10 November.

Any pending visit from Charles will closely follow Prince William’s famous visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories in 2018, during which he met Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Critics say that the razor wire functions as a significant deterrent to illegal immigration and that by removing it, the Spanish government not only risks unleashing new waves of mass migration from Africa, but also gives effective control of the Spanish border to Morocco, with which Spain has a tense relationship.

The border fences in question involve those at Spain's North African exclaves of Ceuta and Melilla — magnets for Africans seeking a better life in Europe.

The removal of razor wire is in line with the current Socialist government's pro-immigration stance.

"We are not against immigration. We are not even against the illegal immigrant. It is not their fault that an irresponsible government has called them to come here illegally." — Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, Parliamentary Spokesman for the conservative party Vox.

The Socialist government ordered their removal after migrants who tried to jump the fences to enter Europe illegally suffered injuries after coming into contact with the wire.

Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska justified the removal by saying that Morocco had recently installed concertina wire on fences on its side of the border, and that therefore it was no longer necessary on the Spanish side.

Turkey: Murder of Women Reaches Epidemic Proportions

The cause of 50% of the killings was not determined, but 16% of the women were killed because they wanted to make decisions about their lives, such as wanting a divorce, rejecting offers of reconciliation or even for not answering the phone when called by their men. 13% of the women were killed for "economic reasons."

According to the Turkish women's-rights platform, "We Will Stop Femicide," 652 women were killed by men in the year-and-a-half period prior to November 2018 -- 36 of whom were murdered in October of that year.

"One of the reasons why such a large number of women fall victim to violence is the reluctance and even prevention of relevant institutions to implement current laws." — The Central Women's Committee of Turkey's Human Rights Association (HRA), "Violence against women is a result of discriminatory policies," August 26, 2019.

"There was no finger left unbroken, no women left unbeaten for the last two seasons of a show aired on a pro-government TV channel..." — İlhan Taşcı, Republican People's Party deputy and Radio and Television Supreme Council Member.

"In our religion, the life, dignity and rights of women are untouchable and entrusted [to men]." — Ali Erbaş, President of Diyanet, Turkey's Directorate of Religious Affairs.


The murder of women by male relatives -- particularly spouses or former spouses -- has become a dangerous trend in Turkey. 652 women were killed in Turkey by men in the year-and-a-half period prior to November 2018, according to the Turkish women's-rights platform, "We Will Stop Femicide." On November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, thousands of Turkish women took part in demonstrations at Istanbul's Taksim Square. The women were protesting the increasing number of murders in the country committed by men against female family members. After reading a statement to the press, the demonstrators were attacked by police with tear gas and plastic bullets.

The murder of women by male relatives -- particularly spouses or former spouses -- has become a dangerous trend in Turkey. The brutal murder, on August 18, of 38-year-old Emine Bulut by her ex-husband -- in front of their 10-year-old daughter -- is one particularly noteworthy case.

Europe No Longer Hides Its Hostility to Israel

The European Union seems deliberately to fail to recognize that Israel, a sovereign state, is regularly under threat -- even extreme continuous rocket fire from Gaza and Syria -- and, for that reason alone deserves its full support.

The statement [by the European Union]... fails to mention that Israel had killed a terrorist belonging to an extremist group about to launch another attack. The statement also fails to mention the number of rockets fired on the country, or the right of Israel to defend itself.

Four hundred and fifty rockets in under 48 hours is not a skirmish or a minor attack; it is a large-scale military attack. Any similar attack on France or Germany -- if they received even a single missile -- would have sparked a major crisis.

By comparison, U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman tweeted: "Palestinian Islamic Jihad, an Islamist terrorist org backed by Iran, is again attacking Israel with 100's of missiles aimed at civilians. We stand w our friend & ally Israel at this critical moment & support Israel's right to defend itself & bring an end to these barbaric attacks."

The contrast speaks for itself. The United States is a friend of Israel. The European Union is not.

In other words, the EU, which is officially committed to fighting terrorism, supports the Palestinian Authority (PA), which supports terrorists and their families. Just try making sense of that.

The European Union, for its part, is proud to be "the biggest donor of external assistance to the Palestinians". Since February 2008, more than €2.5 billion ($2.8 billion) have been disbursed. The EU provides core financial support to the Palestinian Authority, even though part of the PA budget is earmarked for terrorists and terrorists' families, thereby actually incentivizing terrorism.

The European Union has, over the years, become increasingly hostile towards Israel. That attitude was confirmed in early November when the Court of Justice of the European Union ruled that food products made in the so-called settlements of East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Golan Heights must be labeled as such and may not carry the generic label "Made in Israel."

As rightly argued by the strategic studies expert Soeren Kern, there are many territorial conflicts all over the world, but the European Court singles out only Israel. Examples of the EU's bias against Israel are numerous, particularly compared to the United States.

A Conservative politician in one of Britain’s most Jewish constituencies whose election poster was defaced with the words “300,000 dead” has said it may be a reference to Jews.

Mike Freer, who has been the Conservative MP for Finchley and Golders Green since 2010, and who is defending his seat, alerted Jewish News to the shocking vandalism on Friday.


“One of my boards previously defaced was done again last night,” he said. “This time ‘300,000 dead’ was written on it. I’m not sure what it is referring to but my heart sank when I thought the person might be referring to the Jewish population in the UK.”

Freer added that he had escalated it to the local police commander “who is, as ever, treating it very seriously”.

Antisemitic graffiti daubed over Freer’s election campaign board in Golders Green on Monday, with what resembles a swastika and the words: “Boris out! Hail Boris”.

Freer said: “I was upset to see it… It just shows that the poison of antisemitism is never far from the surface and it makes me more committed than ever to stand alongside my constituents and face down the bigots.”

Jewish politician Luciana Berger is challenging Freer in the constituency. She is standing for the Liberal Democrats, having resigned from the Labour Party earlier this year, citing concerns over antisemitism.

Everyone knows that Israeli’s prime minister is one of Trump’s closest allies. In a world of globalist liberals, Trump, Netanyahu, and a handful of others stand alone in defense of their countries and our shared values.

But Netanyahu has enemies at home, just like President Trump. And now he’s facing criminal charges. Unlike Trump, attacks on Netanyahu seem to be working. After two elections he has not been able to secure a parliamentary majority, and now criminal charges against him threaten to imprison him.

But Israel’s president is said to be offering Netanyahu a way out: resign from public life. In return, he’ll receive a pardon. This is similar to what happened to the late former President Richard M. Nixon when he resigned from the White House.

Netanyahu has served his country well. While I certainly want to see him fight on, no one could blame him for retiring and avoiding a long, expensive fight that could ultimately see him behind bars..
But knowing Netanyahu, he’s unlikely to take this deal. He’s faced up against Barack Obama and other liberals, as well as his country’s enemies, such as Iran.

Let’s hope he finds the courage to fight on and is able to be victorious. Anything less would be bad news for Israel as well as America – and for Donald Trump.

The move, reportedly being considered by President Reuven Rivlin, could provide a way out of the political deadlock that has gripped the country since April.

The Jewish People
Many Muslims hate the Jews. Some will hate the Jews no matter what, and some because they are just uneducated. The Jewish people have every right to exist and to exist in their homeland, Israel.

Sarah Idan, Miss Iraq, gets that. She has made a good name for herself in the Jewish world and in the world of those who want to work toward peace. And it all started because she took a picture with Miss Israel in 2017!


Helping Create Peace
Idan has been dedicating herself to working toward peace through educating Muslims. She has the right view of Jews. When you hear her speak about Iraqi Jews and what they contributed, it gives hope that there are those who want to create a better Middle East once again.

Most of the world won’t talk about the Jews who were expelled from Arab lands. But Miss Iraq will. She is well aware of history and of the truth.

Jerusalem – December 1, 2019: Fatah has admitted it supported Hamas “with money, weapons, and political cover” during the time of Yasser Arafat.  


In a recent video posted by Fatah on its official Facebook page, Abbas’ party boasted that “Fatah has led and will continue to lead the national project”, proudly claiming that it was “the first to fight in the second Intifada.” It bragged of Fatah’s terror accomplishments against “the Zionist enemy”, stating that “Fatah has sacrificed most of its leaders as Martyrs” and that “92% of prisoners (i.e., terrorists and murderers) are Fatah members, officers, and fighters and foremost among them heroic prisoner Marwan Barghouti.” 

The video highlights Fatah’s central role in the Palestinian terror waves– the first intifada in which 200 Israelis were murdered – and the PA’s five-year terror campaign, the second intifada, in which more than 1,100 Israelis were murdered, mostly in suicide bombings. 

Nan Jacques Zilberdik, senior analyst at PMW says: “While, politically, Fatah and Hamas are fierce enemies competing for political control, Fatah has admitted that they support Hamas and are terror-partners.  Abbas’ Fatah has stressed this in the past, referring to the terror organizations Hamas and Islamic Jihad as its “brothers-in-arms” who are united by “One God, one homeland, one enemy, and one goal.”

In the past, Palestinian Media Watch has reported that Abbas has emphasized that Fatah and Hamas agree on all crucial issues. Speaking on official PA TV in 2009, Abbas said: “There is no disagreement between us [Fatah and Hamas]: About belief? None! About policy? None! About resistance? None!”

Benjamin Netanyahu’s chief political opponent, Benny Gantz, made a Facebook post that inadvertently affirmed a prophecy made 30 years ago predicting the Israeli prime minister’s role as the final gatekeeper that will greet the Messiah. 

Gantz, head of the left-wing Blue and White party, made a post on Facebook last Monday:

“119 Knesset members don’t want to go to the elections. And only one member of the Knesset, the chairman of Likud Netanyahu, drags a whole country to an election that is expensive and extraneous. By doing so, he saves himself from three tchares: bribery, fraud, and breach of allegiance.

I appeal to Likud Leaders: have we been chosen to take care of security, education and health, or to take care of the legal condition of Benjamin Netanyahu?

Remember, you are following in the footsteps of great leaders like Begin and Shamir who knew how to put the national interest before their personal interest. The good of the state of Israel is more important than Netanyahu.”

Gantz’s post is a direct reminder of a message given to Netanyahu by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitch Chabad leader who died in 1994. Rabbi Schneerson, known to his followers simply as “the Rebbe”, was one of the most influential spiritual leaders until of his time. Under his direction, the Lubavitch Chabad movement established thousands of institutions worldwide for Bible education and charity. Unlike many other Orthodox Jewish leaders, the Rebbe emphasized an active belief in the imminent arrival of the Messiah. The two first met in 1984 when Netanyahu was Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations.

At an address in New York in 2009, Netanyahu related the meeting and the impact it had on him. Before Netanyahu returned to Israel in 1988 to join Likud, a former soldier who had served under him came to visit Netanyahu. Netanyahu did not recognize the soldier at first because while serving in the army, he was secular and clean-shaven. In the interim, he had become religious and was a member of the Chabad sect. He now sported a flowing beard. 

The Chabad Hasid told the Israeli ambassador to the UN that the Rebbe wanted to meet him. The meeting was set for midnight. 

“Much success,” The rabbi said to a young Netanyahu. “I had much satisfaction from your first speech. May you continue in this path. God helps all who wish to elevate others. How much more so when one begins with himself.”

“It is the best path to avoid war,” the rabbi said, paraphrasing Isaiah 30:15. “With tranquility and restfulness, you will be saved.”

Netanyahu thanked the rabbi. 

“You are also just starting your new role,” Rabbi Schneerson said. “You will fight with 119 people. Surely you won’t be intimidated, because God is on this side. Blessings and success with God’s mission.”
Rabbi David Nachshon, a close friend of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu who witnessed the dialogue, related that the Rebbe was confident that some great good would come out of Netanyahu’s political trials.
“It really pains me, as a friend, as a brother, as a close friend, to see how people constantly spill Netanyahu’s blood,” Rabbi Schneerson confided to Nachshon. “But I have a surprise for you, he’s going to come out of it, and he’ll stand tall, on G-d’s side. He has a promise from the Rebbe, and he’s going to make it through this. We’ve seen it happen up to now, and that’s how it’s going to be now as well. He will make it through this, and he will continue, and I hope he’ll be able to hand his keys over to Moshiach (the Messiah), and we’ll have the complete and true Redemption.”

The Gaza-based terror organization Hamas has cancelled its weekly March of Return demonstration on the border with Gaza.

It is the third week in a row that the riots, which have taken place every week for more than a year, were canceled.

The organizing committee of the march said in a statement that the cancellation did not reflect a new agreement between Gaza terror organizations and Israel, but that it was concerned about Netanyahu escalating violence at the border in order to help his political situation, Haaretz reported.

The statement also said that protests will continue in the future, and that “the March of Return will continue to be part of a non-violent popular struggle.”

This week’s protests had planned to mark the anniversary of the United Nations’ that created the state of Israel.

The BDS movement is a very well-funded and focused movement. They are funded and driven by pure anti-semitism. Yes – that is right – pure anti-semitism. But, they are smart about what they do. They couch all of their anti-Israel activities as humanitarian work for a nation that just wants to have self-determination. Isn’t that a lofty cause?

Self-Determination of Arabs in the Middle East
Arabs in the Middle East have a major problem with self-determination. In nearly every country in the Middle East, Arabs are not free to live the lifestyles that they would like to live. In Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen ad other countries in the Middle East, Arabs are ruled over. They do not have elections – unless they are rigged. But there is an exception to the rule – Israel. Israel is the one country that has allowed Arabs to vote in free elections. And vote they do. There are more than 10 Arabs in the Israeli Knesset and they are allowed to stand up and say all kinds of anti-Israel things in the Israeli parliament.

Well, what about Gaza? From 1967 till 2005, the Arabs in Gaza, indeed, did not have self-determination. But Israel withdrew their Army and removed more than 8,000 Jewish people who lived in the Gaza area in order to give the Arabs who lived their total self-determination. The Arabs there promptly determined that they want to turn the area into a launching pad to terrorize half of the State of Israel with missiles. This small area of Land where Jewish communities once existed has seen thousands – perhaps more than ten thousand by now – of missiles shot at Tel-Aviv and the entire south of Israel. So, is self-determination – that which the BDS screams about day and night really what Arabs care about? No, the Arabs care about destruction of Israel. But they have learned that the wolf must wear lamb’s clothing in order to have the Jeremy Corbyns and the Bernie Sanders’ of the world support you.

The BDS cares as much about Arab human rights as they care about Jewish human rights. Neither matters to them at all. They just want to destroy the Jewish State and kill Jews. A man has been arrested after antisemitic abuse was directed towards Jewish children on the London Underground.

The suspect, whose name and age has not been released by police, was held in Birmingham on Saturday night on suspicion of committing a racially aggravated public order offence and he remains in custody.

His arrest came after a man was filmed reading anti-Jewish bible passages to two young boys in skullcaps while they were travelling with their family on the Northern Line.

The mother-of-two, from London, told the PA news agency she “wouldn’t hesitate to do it again”.

“I would have loved more people to come up and say something, because if everyone did, I do not think it would have escalated in the way that it did,” she said.

She said when she saw what was happening she knew she “had to confront him”.

“Being a mother-of-two, I know what it’s like to be in that situation and I would want someone to help if I was in that situation,” she said.

She said the couple was travelling with three children, and she wanted to deflect the man’s attention away from them.

She said: “He was quite aggressive and was getting in my face.”

Fellow commuter Chris Atkins took the video after catching the Tube heading south on the Charing Cross branch of the line at midday on Friday.

“The Muslim woman didn’t take any shit from him and really, really took him to task, very firmly and persistently,” Mr Atkins said.

“In this day and age we are told how intolerant everyone is and all religions hate each other and there you had a Muslim woman sticking up for some Jewish children.”

Twitter users hailed Mrs Shuweikh a “hero”.

Mrs Shuweikh said she got off the Tube after two stops and did not realise the video was going viral until a friend texted her to say she had seen her on Twitter.

She created a Twitter account so she could see the reaction.

She said: “It was so heartwarming to see the responses and see what people were saying. I can’t take all the credit because a lot of other people were involved.

“I would not hesitate to do it again.”

Bibi Condemns War Crimes in Gaza
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with a senior delegation of AIPAC members at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.

The Prime Minister updated the delegation members on the situation in Gaza and said: “The most important distinction in international law and specifically about the rules of war is that here is a dividing line. On one side are combatants; on the other side are non-combatants.” He added that one “cannot fight people who are innocent civilians. You can cross that line accidentally, but you can’t cross it deliberately. If you deliberately target civilians, that’s a war crime.” The question is, why won’t the UN and the rest of the world condemn the war crimes in Gaza? The DOUBLE war crimes?

Bibi stressed: “Terrorists, including the terrorists in Gaza do something entirely different. They target civilians deliberately. They target our cities; they target Ashkelon, as they did today. Prime Minister Netanyahu referred to the ruling of the European Union court against Israel and said that while the EU chooses not to join the sanctions on Iran, it imposes economic-diplomatic restrictions on Israel. The Prime Minister thanked the US and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for their strong stand alongside Israel on this issue. At least some world leaders aren’t so oblivious to the truth…

A sociology professor accused of sharing “antisemitic conspiracies” during a lecture has advised her students to consult Jewish Voice for Labour’s website. 

The talk, entitled “Viral and Transnational (Palestine),” was delivered on 12 November as part of a module called “Transnational Media Ecologies.”


Dr Goldie Osuri, an associate professor in the sociology department, characterised claims of antisemitism in the Labour Party as “very much an Israeli lobby kind of idea” in a recording obtained by Jewish News.

She said: “So the next time they say that the Labour Party is antisemitic, or you know there are some people possibly that are possibly antisemitic, but the idea that the Labour Party is antisemitic is very much an Israeli lobby kind of idea, the idea that you want to discredit the Labour Party because there is support for Palestine among some members of the Labour Party.”

The Union of Jewish Students and Warwick Jewish Israeli Society said the remark “belittles and diminishes the fears, experiences and concerns of the Jewish community and spreads the antisemitic conspiracy that Jews control the media.”

Notes accompanying a slideshow for the lecture shown to Jewish News contain the following quote: “Palestinians are entirely entitled to resist and oppose the occupation and theft of their homeland by any means they deem necessary.”

Alongside the quote, which was taken from an Al Jazeera article written in 2014 by Columbia University Professor Hamid Dabashi, the slide notes cite “poems/songs/art/organised activism or militancy” as examples of resistance.

The  Union of Jewish Students and Warwick Jewish Israeli Society expressed concern the quote suggests support “for acts of violence against civilians perpetrated by terrorist organisations”.

A Jewish student, who did not wish to be named, said she left the lecture feeling “very angry”.

“I was kind of shaking with rage in the lecture because you can’t really say anything. I’m not going to stand up in the middle of the lecture where everyone is silent and it’s just the lecturer speaking and say ‘I disagree with you’,” she said. “It’s such an uncomfortable environment to express your thoughts.”

On her university profile, Dr Osuri lists “intersections of Political Sociology, Critical Social and Cultural Theory, Critical Race and Whiteness Studies, and Media and Cultural Studies” among her research interests.

However, a spokesperson for the University of Warwick said: “The researcher concerned sees these assertions as a misrepresentation of her lecture and that those assertions do not include significant context in regard to the matters under discussion.

“There was considerable opportunity during that lecture, and in the following seminars, to discuss and debate what was presented in their totality. Indeed, such discussion and debate is actively encouraged though no such issues were raised at that time.”

Warwick is “committed to ensuring a working and learning environment in which all university members, staff and students, are treated fairly and with dignity and respect.”

Following media coverage of the allegations, Dr Osuri emailed students insisting she had “explicitly explained the distinction between anti-semitism and anti-Zionism in the lecture.”

“Anti-semitism against Jewish peoples, I had said, was absolutely wrong in any form and unacceptable. In fact, I had spoken of the terrible anti-semitism that Jewish people had faced in Europe, something that led to the Holocaust in Nazi Germany,” she wrote. 

Referring to Dabashi’s quote, she said she had sought to “speak about the differing narratives between mainstream media and the differing ways in which Palestinians resist (not reducible to terrorism as Hamid Dabashi argues).”

Later on in the email, she added: “It may be of interest to you that there is a group called Jewish Voice for Labour who argue that the claims of anti-semitism against the Labour Party are orchestrated,” including a link to the fringe group’s website.

She said the incident could be “a ‘teachable moment’ for us in this module,” adding that she was “only saddened by the fact that none of these issues were raised in the seminars.”

A joint statement by the Union of Jewish Students and Warwick Jewish Israeli Society said: “There can be no excuse from an academic at such a prestigious university to spread conspiracy theories associated with classic antisemitism.

“No university should allow this rhetoric to be propagated by its employees, let alone taught to students in an academic setting.”

Taylor added: “It is not only deeply saddening but also very worrying that an academic at our university is propagating antisemitic statements.

“For Dr. Osuri to use the platform of an academic lecture to share antisemitic conspiracies and support violence against innocent civilians is disgraceful.

“Only the strongest possible action will give us the confidence that the University of Warwick is a welcoming place for Jews to study.”

On Saturday, Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu claimed that a group of countries, led by Israel, sought to establish a terrorist state in northern Syria, and that his country thwarted the move. However, Cavusoglu failed to bring proof of his statements.

Israel has avoided involving itself in the Syrian civil war, attempting only to protect itself from Iranian entrenchment on its northern border and to aid civilian victims of the war, including providing medical care for them in Israel itself, at the expense of the Israeli taxpayer.

(Worthy News) - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and rival Benny Gantz may be closing in on a coalition deal that would allow the formation of a government and prevent Israel from heading to its third election in under a year, Channel 12 reported on Monday.

Citing sources with knowledge of the negotiations between Likud and Gantz’s Blue and White party, the network said the two parties are now discussing the possibility, proposed by Likud, of a prime ministerial rotation in which Netanyahu will remain in office for a year before stepping aside in favor of Gantz.

Should Netanyahu go on trial for criminal charges during that first year, he will begin a leave of absence, according to the proposal. Gantz will then be prime minister, the report said. Netanyahu was joined at the press conference by IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) chief Nadav Argaman. Missing was newly-appointed Defense Minister Naftali Bennett who officially took up the role an hour before the press conference.

In an interview broadcast Tuesday, UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn refused to disavow his appearances on Iran’s Press TV and claimed that he had not appeared on the Tehran regime’s propaganda channel since the government cracked down on demonstrators protesting election results, presumably referring to the 2009 protests.

According to the UK parliament’s register of members’ interests, Corbyn was still appearing on Press TV as recently as July 11, 2012, The Times reported, six months after a decision by British regulators to revoke the channel’s license and issue a fine for broadcasting an interview with imprisoned Newsweek and Channel 4 journalist Maziar Bahari that was filmed under duress.

The Canadian-Iranian journalist was arrested while broadcasting from Iran on the protests following the elections. Throughout his imprisonment he was tortured and interrogated on his statements against Holocaust denial, his film on Jews trying to escape the Holocaust, and his Jewish connections.

Press TV is an English-language news network connected to the state-owned Iranian broadcasting company.

Asked four times by Channel 4 News if he regrets appearing on the channel, Corbyn, visibly angered, refused to directly answer the question and instead said that he had used the outlet as a forum to discuss human rights and justice.

On Wednesday Bahari added his voice to the growing chorus of criticism against the opposition leader.

“Dear Jeremy Corbyn, it’s very easy to say sorry. I don’t resent you because of you did,” Bahari tweeted. “You may not have known the true nature of Press TV. A good leader must confront his past mistakes and not evade a question four times in a row.”
Corbyn has in the past defended receiving up to £20,000 ($26,285) for five appearances on the channel between 2009 and 2012 — revealed in the UK parliament’s register of members’ financial interests — saying it was “not an enormous amount.”

Footage emerged in August of Corbyn, accused by the Jewish community of tolerating anti-Semitism in his party’s ranks, telling Press TV that the BBC “has a bias towards saying that… Israel has a right to exist.”

In the 2011 interview, posted on Twitter by the British political blogger The Golem, Corbyn explains that “there’s pressure on the BBC from, probably, [then-BBC director general] Mark Thompson, who seems to me to have an agenda in this respect. There seems to be a great deal of pressure on the BBC from the Israeli government, from the Israeli embassy, and they are very assertive towards all journalists and toward the BBC itself. They challenge every single thing on reporting the whole time.”

That Israeli pressure and bias from the likes of Thompson, Corbyn goes on to say, mean the corporation leans in favor of Israel’s existence.

“I think there is a bias towards saying that Israel is a democracy in the Middle East, Israel has a right to exist, Israel has its security concerns,” he says in the 36-second clip.

While allegations of anti-Semitism have dogged Corbyn since he became Labour leader three years ago, the furor has reached fever pitch since March.

The crisis over anti-Semitism in the Labour Party has caused a major schism within its ranks and led Jews to express fears over their future in the country.

Almost 40 percent of British Jews would “seriously consider emigrating” if Corbyn became prime minister, according to a recent poll conducted for The Jewish Chronicle.

On Sunday, Corbyn insisted he was not an anti-Semite, but refused to apologize for a series of incidents involving him and other party members that have drawn accusations of rampant anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment.

Two Iranian Agents Plead Guilty to Surveilling US Jewish Sites

Two Iranian agents have pleaded guilty to casing Jewish and Israeli sites in the US as well as spying on members of a dissident group opposed to the ruling theocratic regime in Tehran.

The Washington Post reported that Majid Ghorbani, 60, and Ahmadreza Mohammadi-Doostdar, 39, were both accused of illegal surveillance. Doostdar had traveled to the US from Iran, while Ghorbani was a legal permanent resident.

According to the Justice Department’s affidavit, prosecutors believe the two men were compiling “target packages” as part of a “neutralization plan.” Both displayed “intelligence tradecraft” in their actions, alerting authorities to their status as Iranian agents.

In particular, Doostdar was found to have taken photographs of several Jewish sites, including Hillel and Chabad centers. In the latter case, Doostdar examined the fence surrounding the building, indicating an interest in the site’s security measures. The Israeli sites surveilled by the men were not revealed in the affidavit.

Ghorbani was arrested in August 2018 and pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of violating US sanctions. Doostdar was arrested two months ago and pleaded guilty on Oct. 8 to two counts — conspiracy and acting as an undeclared agent of the Iranian government.

The two men both cut plea bargains with prosecutors in exchange for pleading guilty to reduced charges. Ghorbani will be sentenced Jan. 15 and Doostdar on Dec. 17.

US Attorney Jessie K. Liu of the District of Columbia said, “The Iranian government thought it could get away with conducting surveillance on individuals in the United States by sending one of its agents here to task a permanent resident with conducting and collecting that surveillance.”

(Worthy News) - Democrat and Republican lawmakers are joining together to call attention to the deadly threat of Hezbollah on Israel's doorstep in the north.

Members from the US House of Representatives sent a bipartisan letter to the United Nations Secretary General to voice their concern about Hezbollah's actions against Israel.

The letter points out several violations of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which calls on the Lebanese Government to extend sovereignty over the entire country and to disarm "all armed groups in Lebanon, so that…there will be no weapons or authority in Lebanon other than that of the Lebanese State." The Lebanese government has failed to disarm Hezbollah. Instead, the Iranian-backed terror group has acquired and threatened Israel with advanced weapons of war and poses a serious security threat to the Jewish State.

"Hezbollah has built a murderous capability aimed at Israel's civilian population," the letter reads. "In the thirteen years since the unanimous passage of the Security Council resolution, Hezbollah, with the assistance of Iran, the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism, has amassed a deadly arsenal of about 150,000 rockets and missiles aimed at Israel."

"Iran is currently exacerbating this threat by transferring precision guided munitions to Hezbollah and building munitions factories in Lebanon for the benefit of the internationally-recognized terrorist organization," the letter continues. 

In September, Hezbollah launched a missile strike against IDF vehicles near the Lebanese border. No one was injured in the strike but it had the potential to spark a war between Israel and Hezbollah. 

The terror group has also spent millions of dollars developing underground tunnels to allow terrorists to enter Israeli towns to attack civilians. 

The letter calls on the UN to fulfill its commitment to contain Hezbollah with the help of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). 

The letter, authored by Reps. Elaine Luria (D-VA), Lee Zeldin (R-NY), Haley Stevens (D-MI) and Michael Waltz (R-FL), urges the UN General Secretary "to lead an international effort to limit Hezbollah's capabilities and to avoid the devastating but avoidable outcome of which you have previously warned."

has positioned its massive arsenal in civilian areas – turning much of Lebanon's population into
human shields. Hezbollah will bear the responsibility for that, as will the Government of

Israeli Watchdog Group Says Billions in Aid Donated to Palestinians is Missing, Given to Terrorists

(Worthy News) - The Israeli research group Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) reports that nearly $2 billion in international aid that has been donated to the Palestinian Authority is missing or misused.

The international community gives hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to the PA every year, but PMW's Maurice Hirsch argues that lack of accountability has allowed the money to end up in the hands of terrorists.

"While the PA has constantly complained about its financial difficulties, scrutiny of the PA's own financial records for the years 2011 - 2018, shows that the PA transferred from its coffers over 7 billion shekels ($1.99 billion) to the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), some of which was then given to terrorist organizations," Hirsch wrote in a report published Monday. The PLO, which is led by PA President Mahmoud Abbas, is an umbrella organization for several Palestinian political groups. The PA is the largest group under that umbrella, but other organizations like the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) are also members. The United States and the EU recognized the PFLP as a terror group that has Israeli blood on its hands.

"While international donors have demanded that the PA show financial transparency, the PLO is not subject to any financial regulation or demands of transparency. Accordingly, it is impossible to know what happens with billions of dollars of donor money the PA has given and continues to give today to the PLO," Hirsch said, adding that "the PA has systematically used US and EU money to fund organizations that the donors themselves have designated as terrorist organizations."

Despite numerous complaints from Israel and the US, Abbas vows to continue giving money to Palestinian terrorists.

"We will not allow them to deduct a single penny from their money. All the money will go back to them, because the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners are the most sacred things we have,"  Abbas said in a video posted to his Facebook page on August 10.

PMW reported earlier this year that the Palestinian Authority spent at least $136.4 million on pay-to-slay payments to terrorist prisoners in 2018 alone.

That amount only refers to PA payments to terrorist prisoners and released terrorist prisoners. They do not account for the money the PA pays to the families of dead or injured Palestinian terrorists.  

Israel's parliament passed legislation in July 2018 to financially penalize the PA for its terror payments.

"The law that imposes monetary sanctions on the PA because of its payments to terrorists is one of the most important laws passed in Israel in recent years, because it sends a clear message to the Palestinian Authority that Israel will by no means accept its support for terrorism," PMW director Itamar Marcus told The Jerusalem Post.

The United States has also taken steps to punish the PA for pay-to-slay. US lawmakers passed the Taylor Force Act, which cuts US aid until the PA stops rewarding terrorists and their families.

However, Hirsch argues that more must be done.

"While the US has stopped its direct aid to the PA, and thus stopped the PA misuse of the money to fund designated terrorist organizations, the EU continues to provide the PA with aid. And the PA continues to provide funds to the PLO. Clearly, while it is impossible to prove that one specific dollar/euro donated to the PA found its way directly into the accounts of the PFLP/PLF, it is clear that donations to the PA to cover its legitimate expenses, allows the PA to divert its own resources for these illegitimate purposes," he said.

Hirsch also reported that between the years 2011 - 2018, the PA also spent over ($125 million) to fund its non-functioning institutions,"

One of those non-functioning institutions is the PA's "General Election Committee," which has not held an official election in more than 15 years.

Hirsch urges the international community to hold the PA accountable for the money it receives.

"Allowing the PA to continue these practices does nothing to achieve any peace related goal. The opposite is true. When the international donors turn a blind eye to the PA's obvious abuses, they simply embolden and facilitate the PA to deepen the rifts," he said.
