A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you cannot endure the bad, you'll not live to witness the good.

COMFORT MY PEOPLE
"My life was bereft of peace; I have forgotten prosperity and what
happiness was. I thought my strength and my hope had perished from the
LORD. To recall my distress and my misery was wormwood and poison;
whenever I thought of them, I was bowed low." [Lamentations (Ekhah) 3.
17 - 20 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Jeremiah's heart is in agonizing struggle and again mourns, "YOU have
screened YOURSELF off with a cloud that no prayer may pass through. YOU
have made us filth and refuse in the midst of the peoples. All our
enemies loudly rail against us. Panic and pitfall, death and destruction
are our lot. My foes have snared me like a bird, without any cause. They
have ended my life in a pit and cast stones at me, waters flowed over my
head; I said— I am lost!" [Lamentations (Ekhah) 3. 44 - 46; 52 - 54
Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Again today Israel is on a desert road with sufferings at every turn.
GOD ALMIGHTY, however, often proves HIS love for us exactly when HE
seems to be hard towards us. There is so much we can learn in HIS paths
of chastening. In trouble and suffering and when HIS chastening hand
is upon us, we can come to know the HOLY ONE as our LOVING FATHER more
then any other time. Accepting HIS chastening is like a key unlocking
the HEAVENLY FATHER'S heart with all HIS blessings and kindness. We
will find that afterwards HE will shower us all the more with an
abundance of good things. And GOD HIMSELF will be glorified if we
follow HIS leading wholeheartedly.

Our HOLY, OMNISCIENT, CREATOR GOD will provide a way of deliverance, for
HIS hand is not too short to save nor HIS ear too dull to hear when HIS
children cry to HIM. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 59. 1] HE will not desert HIS
people, nor will HE abandon them to their enemies.

"As I live — declares the LORD GOD — I will reign over you with
a strong hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, I
will rule over you. With a strong hand and an outstretched arm and
overflowing fury I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you
from the lands where you are scattered, and I will bring you into the
wilderness of the peoples; and there I will enter into judgment with you
face to face." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 20. 33 - 35 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"When you call ME and come and pray to ME, I will give heed to you. You
will search for ME and find ME, if only you seek ME wholeheartedly. I
will be at hand for you — declares the LORD — and I will restore
your fortunes. And I will gather you from all the nations and from all
the places to which I have banished you — declares the LORD —
and I will bring you back to the place from which I have exiled you."
[Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 29. 12 - 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"I will exchange their (the remnant of Israel) disgrace for praise and
fame in all the earth. At that time I will gather you, and at that time
I will bring you home; for I will make you renowned and famous among all
the peoples on earth, when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes
— said the LORD." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 3. 19 - 20 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Your GOD the LORD is in your midst, the MIGHTY ONE WHO brings triumph.
HE will rejoice over you and be glad, HE will shout over you with
jubilation, HE will quiet you with HIS renewed love as in the days of
old, HE will rejoice over you with singing." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 3.
17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The steadfast love of the BLESSED CREATOR & REDEEMER never ceases, nor
has it ceased for Israel today. The present darkness of this world will
not last forever. Mankind awaits the coming RIGHTEOUS KING WHO will
make all things new. From the moment our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH
returns, HIS glorious righteousness will shine into all nations and they
will share in the blessings and peace of HIS Glorious Kingdom as well.
Through it all, HE will uphold us with HIS righteous right hand, how can
we help but totally trust such faithfulness!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!

Though I cannot trace HIS footprints, yet HIS PRESENCES lingers. Hush
my soul, be patient, for someday soon you will see HIM, you will meet
HIM face-to-face. And in Heaven's Garden, I will walk with the LORD my
GOD always. What a glorious day that will be!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Peace, more than any other vessel, holds blessedness.

GOD'S GREAT FAITHFULNESS
"The kindness of the LORD has not ended, HIS mercies are not spent. They
are renewed every morning — Great and exceedingly abundant is YOUR
grace! The LORD is my portion! — I say with full heart; therefore
will I hope in HIM." [Lamentations (Ekhah) 3. 22 - 24 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Lamentations is full of mournful laments, wailing, damnation, and the
scent of devastated Jerusalem after it collapsed from the plunderings by
the Babylonian armies. Yet, from such a time as this comes this
beautiful passage.

Done in Hebrew acrostic (Alef – Tav, the Hebrew alphabet), the
entire Funeral Song is a remarkably structured hymn of grief. The first
two and the last two chapters consist of 22 verses, each using all the
Hebrew alphabets. The central chapter has 66 verses, with the letters
of the alphabet applied every third verse.

It is in this central chapter, these three verses stand out like an
"Island of Hope" in a "Sea of Despair" — as a sign that there is yet
redemption in all the destruction. And throughout the ages, these
SCRIPTURES have been a great comfort and blessing to all believers in
times of testing.

We are most blessed for having been given these sustaining promises.
Every new day brings some new token of our LOVING HOLY GOD'S gracious
provision to meet the need of that day. We cannot count all our
blessings, they are far too numerous. King David said, "O LORD my GOD,
many are the wonders YOU have devised for us. I would rehearse the tale
of them, if I would declare and speak of them, but they are more than
can be numbered." [Psalms (Tehillym) 40. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "GOD
performs great deeds which cannot be fathomed, wondrous things without
number." [Job (Iyob) 5. 9; 9. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Great is the LORD
and greatly to be praised; HIS greatness is unsearchable, it cannot be
fathomed." [Psalms (Tehillym) 145. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Every new day
reminds us again that HIS faithfulness is exceedingly great!

No matter what the days ahead may hold and regardless how hopeless,
prevailing, frightening or horrendously terrible they may be, the battle
is the LORD'S and HIS compassion and mercy will not fail! HalleluYAH!

The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA eagerly awaits to renew HIS mercies each morning
and make HIS faithfulness known. . . if we have all of our faith, hope
and trust in HIM. There is none greater!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
"Z'man Simchataynu " — A time of our rejoicing! Today marks a
joyous day on the Jewish calendar: Tu b'Av (15th day of the month of
Av). Many celebrations throughout Israel are scheduled in commemoration
of the day, with love as their theme.
Our Sages enlightenment of the Tu b'Av: Just as Yom Kippur symbolizes
the atonement for the sin of the Golden Calf in the desert, for it was
on that day the HOLY ONE accepted Moses' plea for forgiveness of the
nation; Tu B'Av signifies the atonement for the sin of the Spies, where
ten came bearing such negative reports which reduced the entire nation
to panic. As a result of that sin, it was decreed by GOD that the Nation
would remain in the desert for 40 years, and that no person 20 or older
would be allowed to enter Israel. On each Tisha b'Av of those 40 years,
those who had reached the age of 60 that year died — 15,000 each
year. This plague finally ended on Tu b'Av (15th of Av).
This day marks several other BIBLICAL and historical events besides
being the conclusion of the death decree of the generation that wandered
in the desert wilderness. They were thus punished for believing the Ten
Scouts' discouraging report on the Land of Canaan:
* The ban on intermarriage among tribes of Israel was lifted.
* King Hosea, the last monarch of the northern Israelite kingdom,
removed the barriers installed by one of his predecessors, King
Jeroboam, which prevented the northerners from making pilgrimages to
Jerusalem.
* The Romans permitted the Jews to bury Bar Kochba's supporters who had
fallen at Betar.
* Many celebrations throughout Israel are scheduled in commemoration of
the day, with "love" as their theme. The Talmud states that on Tu b'Av,
the young unmarried women of Jerusalem would borrow white clothing - so
that their wealth or lack of it would not stand out — and dance in
the vineyards in order to be noticed by their prospective husbands. Many
weddings are thus celebrated on Tu b'Av.
Shalom U'Vrakah (Peace & Blessings)! Ketiva vahatima tova – may
your inscription and seal be for good!
The LORD GOD be with you this day and always and may your days be lived
in peace and truth.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Sun 14 Aug 2011, 10:48 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Only those who repent of their sin will be forgiven.

THE FIELD, THE WORLD
"And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem as that field is
called in their own language, Akel-dama, meaning Field of Blood." [Acts
1. 19]

This field was fittingly called "akel-dama" so named as it was purchased
with blood money. Judas Iscariot, the betrayer of MESSIAH, purchased it
(through the chief priests, following Judas' suicide) as they
stated— "It is not lawful to put them (the silver pieces) into the
treasury, because they are the price of blood." [Matthew 27. 6]
However, the blood Judas sold was "INNOCENT BLOOD."

The loathsomely detestable "thirty shekels of silver" finalized this
transaction. However, this slave was none other than CREATOR GOD in the
flesh, so the thirty pieces of silver, the amount set by the religious
leaders, was the price for the sale of the MOST HIGH ONE.

The Prophet Zechariah had acted out a prophecy of these strange events
some 500 years before. "So they weighed out for my wages, thirty
shekels of silver — the noble sum that I was worthy in their
estimation." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 11. 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

According to prophecy and its fulfillment, Judas threw this "blood
money" down in the Temple and went out and hanged himself. The money
was used to buy the Potter's Field to bury strangers in. [Matthew 27. 5
- 10] "Throw it to the potter — that princely price they set on
me. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the HOUSE
OF THE LORD for the potter." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 11. 13 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

These and many other details in these accounts constitute a remarkable
type and fulfillment of prophecy, a testimony of divine inspiration and
divine foreordination. It is also a striking picture of the price of
our salvation: For the "Field of Blood" typifies that great field, the
world. The field is the world [Matthew 13. 38] and YESHUA ha'MASHIACH
is the GOD/MAN WHO searched for the "treasure hidden in a field...and
for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field."
[Matthew 13. 44] All that the LORD JESUS had, HIS very life's-blood,
was willingly shed that we, dead in our sins and hidden in the world of
filth, might be "purchased with HIS own blood." [Acts 20. 28] How
very thankful I am that this MAN OF SORROWS, the ROCK OF OUR SALVATION
cared enough to pay such a price to buy such a worthless worm like me!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE
dwells within us, bless you abundantly.
O LORD GOD, CREATOR of all, teach us to seek the good and to be wise.
Fill us with zeal for knowledge lest ignorance leave us ineffective.
Strengthen our faith, that we may kindle the light of YOUR PRESENCE in
the hearts of others. Rise up, O LORD, and YOUR enemies shall be
scattered, and they that hate YOU shall flee before YOU. For out of Zion
shall go forth the Law, and the WORD OF THE LORD from Jerusalem.
May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be present throughout the week.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Sat 13 Aug 2011, 8:31 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The end of a quarrel is repentance.

PURE-UNDEFILED RELIGION
"For the LORD your GOD is GOD SUPREME (GOD of gods) and LORD SUPREME
(LORD of lords) the great, the mighty and the awesome GOD, WHO shows no
favor and takes no bribe, but upholds the cause of the fatherless and
the widow, and befriends the stranger, providing him with food and
clothing. You too must befriend the stranger, for you were strangers in
the land of Egypt." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 10. 17 - 19 Tanakh, Torah]

There are many opinions when asked what true religion is. The only way
to know for sure, however, is to catch sight of the heart and mind of
the ALL-WISE CREATOR by reading and meditating on HIS HOLY WORD. Then,
we can see how man's ideas compare to what ALMIGHTY GOD is looking for.
HIS Laws and precepts are the only ones that are important!

"Do not neglect the Levite in your community, for he has no inherited
portion as you have. Every third year you shall bring out the full tithe
of your yield of that year, but leave it within your settlements. Then
the Levite, who has no inherited portion as you have, and the stranger,
the fatherless and the widow in your settlement shall come and eat their
fill, so that the LORD your GOD may bless you in all the enterprises you
undertake." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 14. 27 - 29 Tanakh, Torah]

"Wash yourselves clean, put your evil doings away from MY sight. Cease
to do evil; learn to do good; devote yourself to justice, aid the
wronged; uphold the rights of the orphan; defend the cause of the
widow." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 1. 16 - 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Woe! to those who write out evil writs and compose iniquitous
documents, to subvert the cause of the poor, to rob of their rights the
needy of MY people; that widows may be their spoil, and fatherless
children their booty! What will you do on the day of punishment, when
the calamity comes from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And how
will you save your carcasses?" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 10. 1 - 3 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

"The ear that heard me acclaimed me, the eye that saw, commended me. For
I saved the poor man who cried out, the orphan who had none to help him.
I received the blessing of the lost; I gladdened the heart of the widow.
I clothed myself in righteousness and it covered me; justice was my
cloak and turban." [Job (Iyob) 29. 11 - 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Break off
your sins by being righteous, and your iniquities by showing mercy to
the poor." [Daniel (Danyel) 4. 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"The LORD OF HOSTS says: —Execute true justice, deal loyally,
mercifully and compassionately with one another. Do not defraud the
widow, the orphan, the stranger or the poor. Do not plot evil against
one another." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 7. 9 - 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The
LORD says—Do what is just and right; rescue from the defrauder him
who is robbed; do not wrong the stranger, the fatherless or the widow;
commit no lawless act, and do not shed the blood of the innocent in this
place." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 22. 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"For if anyone is a hearer of the WORD and not a doer, he is like a man
observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes
away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks
into the perfect Law of liberty and CONTINUES IN IT, and is not a
forgetful hearer but a DOER of the work, this one will be blessed in
what he does. If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not
bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is
useless. Pure and Undefiled Religion before GOD and the FATHER is this:
To visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself
unspotted from the world." [James 1. 23 - 27]

"By this we know love, because HE laid down HIS life for us. And we also
ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this
world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from
him, how does the love of GOD abide in him? MY little children, let us
not love in word or in tongue, but in DEED and in TRUTH." [1 John 3. 16
- 18]

This next text is in regards to a bishop and anyone naming the NAME of
MESSIAH YESHUA, all are to be "blameless, as a steward of GOD, not
self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not
greedy for money, but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded,
just, holy, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word as he has
been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and
convict those who contradict." [Titus 1. 7 - 9]

"Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works
and glorify your FATHER in heaven" [Matthew 5. 16] that those who error
in spirit will come to understand and fear the GOD OF ISRAEL, learn
sound doctrine, and know the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE as their REDEEMER & LORD.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Welcome Sabbath – Queen of the week! Praised are YOU, YESHUA, LORD
OF THE SABBATH, we desire to exalt YOU as the ONE WHO gives true Sabbath
peace and rest. May YOUR PRESENCE be with us in these trying times, for
nothing is complicated for YOU. O LORD - haste the day, we pray, when
all sorrows fade away, and all the world knows Sabbath peace.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Build bridges, not walls.

ARK OF TESTIMONY
"Place the Mercy Seat on top of the Ark, after depositing inside the Ark
the testimony that I will give you. There I will meet with you, and I
will impart to you — from above the Mercy Seat, from between the two
cherubim that are on top of the Ark of the Testimony - all that I will
command you concerning the Israelite people." [Exodus (Shemot) 25. 21 -
22 Tanakh, Torah]

GOD ALMIGHTY told Moses that He will commune with him from above the
Mercy Seat at HIS appointment. It was a privilege, honor and blessing
to Moses that he could enter into the Holy of Holies to the very
PRESENCE OF GOD! The High Priest could only enter once a year on the
Day of Atonement, but Moses could enter any time OMNIPOTENT GOD called
him. Moses is a type of MESSIAH. The redeemed of the LORD are
represented in HIM. They stand before the FATHER, in the BELOVED and
are recognized as sons-in-the- SON. It is the privilege, honor and the
blessing that CREATOR GOD has given those who have been redeemed by the
precious blood of the LAMB, to come into the Throne Room into the
Holiest Place where we can commune with GOD at the Mercy Seat.

What a wonderful appointment! At all times we have Holy GOD'S blessing
and HIS fellowship through the LORD JESUS. No longer is it a Judgment
Throne; but to us, it is a Place of Mercy. [Romans 3. 25] We can come
boldly to the Throne of Grace [Hebrews 4. 15-16; 10. 19, 22] because we
are washed by way of the SPOTLESS, BLAMELESS, INNOCENT LAMB'S sacrifice.
Always and forever, the cherubim are looking toward the place where the
blood of atonement is sprinkled. Let us continually look toward the
Mercy Seat where that precious blood speaks for the remission of our
sins.

Between the two cherubs dwells the GLORIOUS SHEKINAH, the actual
PRESENCE OF GOD. [1 Samuel/Shemuel Alef 4. 4; 2 Samuel/Shemuel Bet 6. 2;
1 Kings/Melakhim Alef 22. 19; 2 Kings/Melakhim Bet 19. 15;
Isaiah/Yeshayah 37. 16; Psalms/Tehillym 80. 1; 99. 1; 1 Chronicles/Dibre
Hayamin Alef 13. 6] The cherubim represent the believers who are one
with CHRIST. How MESSIAH YESHUA longs to commune in the Holy of Holies
within the inner sanctuary of every one of HIS children today. YESHUA
desires to dwell in the center of our lives. This is the PROMISE OF
THE FATHER [Luke 24. 49] — HIS coming was to dwell in, "to
tabernacle" in the believer. HE had been with them, but now would be
withIN them by the in-filling of the HOLY SPIRIT. [John 14. 17] The
SHEKINAH would dwell between the cherubim on the blood-sprinkled Mercy
Seat of the believer's heart.

The Mercy Seat is to be the place of GOD'S DWELLING PRESENCE; to cover
over the articles of judgment inside the Ark of the Covenant; and to
hold the blood of atonement. The HOLY ONE has provided wonderfully for
ALL our needs!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Our beloved friends our prayer is that GOD ETERNAL will hear our prayer
and give us a renewed spiritual awakening, increase our love and
brotherhood among us by HIS PRECIOUS SON'S atoning blood. We wish to
express our love to each of you. . . giving thanks to the HOLY ONE WHO
gives good things to HIS children.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Wed 10 Aug 2011, 5:47 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Salvation is there for the taking. . . or the refusing.

SIGNS: SUN, MOON, STARS
"When the LORD delivered the Amorites before the children of Israel,
Joshua spoke to the LORD; he said in the presence of the Israelites:
—Stand still, O sun, at Gibeon, O moon, in the Valley of Aijalon!
— So the sun stood still and the moon halted, while the nation
wreaked revenge upon its enemies. Thus the sun halted in mid-heaven, and
did not press on to set for a whole day; for the LORD fought for Israel.
Neither before nor since has there ever been such a day, when the LORD
heeded the words spoken by a man." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 10. 12 - 14
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

When Joshua and the children of Israel encountered an alliance of
nations under a leader who called himself, "Adoni-Zedek (lord of
righteousness) " ...the ONLY TRUE GOD WHO alone is righteous, defeated
and crushed this pompous, egotistic heathen. The SUPREME ONE fought for
Israel by casting down large hailstones from heaven on them and there
were more who died from the hailstones than the children of Israel
killed with the sword. [Joshua/Yehoshua 10. 11]

As from the beginning, so will the end be, CREATOR GOD will again use
the sun, moon and stars as signs of HIS return. The UTMOST HIGH & LOFTY
LORD GOD will thus commence HIS judgments on the unbelieving world.
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be
darkened, the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from
heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken." [Matthew 24. 29]
"The sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like
blood." [Revelation 6. 12] "A third of the sun was struck, a third of
the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were
darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night."
[Revelation 8. 12]

The five kings who fought alongside Adoni-Zedek fled and hid themselves
in a cave. And Joshua and the men of Israel put their feet on the necks
of these enemies, then killed them. [Joshua/Yehoshua 10. 16 - 24]
Likewise, in Revelation we see that the kings of the earth, the great
men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every
free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains
and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the
face of HIM WHO sits on the Throne and from the wrath of the LAMB! For
the Great Day of HIS wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"
[Revelation 6. 15 - 17]

"Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe; Come and tread, for the
winepress is full, the vats are overflowing! For great is their
wickedness. Multitudes upon multitudes in the Valley of Decision ('Emeq
Charuts)! For the Day of the LORD is at hand in the Valley of Decision.
Sun and moon are darkened, and stars will withdraw their brightness. And
the LORD will roar from Zion, and shout aloud from Jerusalem, so that
heaven and earth tremble; but the LORD will be a SHELTER to HIS people,
a REFUGE to the children of Israel. And you shall know that I the LORD
GOD dwell in Zion, MY Holy Mount. And Jerusalem shall be holy; nevermore
shall strangers pass through it." [Joel (Yoel 4.13-17) 3. 13 – 17
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

In the chaotic world we live in today, we need not be afraid or
dismayed. However, we who are in MESSIAH YESHUA are to be strong and
courageous knowing the KING OF GLORY will do the fighting for us. Then
comes the end, when HE delivers the Kingdom to GOD THE FATHER, when HE
puts an end to all (other) rule and all authority and power. For HE must
reign till HE has put all enemies under HIS feet. The last enemy that
will be destroyed is death." [1 Corinthians 15. 24 - 26] We are more
then conquerors — "for those who fear HIS NAME, the SUN OF
RIGHTEOUSNESS shall arise with healing in HIS wings." [Malachi/Malakhi
4. 2] It will be worth it all when we see our LORD, KING JESUS!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
We offer YOU, our ETERNAL GOD, thanks and praise as we glorify YOUR
NAME. Happy are we who praise YOU and declare YOUR holiness early and
late, morning and evening — Hear, O Israel! the LORD our GOD, the
LORD is ONE. Blessed be HIS NAME, WHOSE glorious Kingdom is for ever and
ever.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Post  Admin Tue 09 Aug 2011, 10:57 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
May the memory of the past impress us with the duty to remain faithful
to our heritage and to be mindful of our obligations.

TISHA B'AV
"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat, sat and wept, as we thought of
Zion. There on the poplars we hung up our lyres, for our captors asked
us there for songs of joy, our tormentors, for amusement, "Sing us one
of the songs of Zion." How can we sing a song of the LORD on foreign
soil?" [Psalms (Tehillym) 137. 1 - 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

One of the major fast days in Jewish tradition, and a day of historic
mourning in Jewish life is the Ninth of Av. Tisha B'Av is more like a
death than a destruction, because on that day the world changed
irrevocably. The world without the Holy Temple is not the same world
minus one magnificent structure. The world without the Holy Temple is a
totally different world. The Holy Temple was the place ALMIGHTY GOD
chose to meet with HIS people. There the DIVINE PRESENCE manifested
HIMSELF. When the Temple was destroyed, the fragrance of the HOLY ONE
was removed, thus it was a loss as real and as searing as death.

This is a fast day second in importance to the Day of Atonement (Yom
Kippur) in the Jewish year. It is the day of mourning for the
destruction of both Temples. And, it once was kept in remembrance of
the day in the year 558 BCE (Before Common Era/BCE — Before
CHRIST/BC) when the mighty forces of the Babylonian armies under
Nebuchadnezzar laid waste Jerusalem and slaughtered many of its
inhabitants enslaving and exiling the survivors. Also, according to
tradition [Taan 4. 4 Jewish Encyclopedia] the decree concerning Israel's
forty years of wandering in the wilderness was made on the Ninth of Av.

On the Ninth of Av in the year 70 CE (Common Era — After Death/AD)
the Romans swooped down on Jerusalem and destroyed the Second Temple and
almost annihilated the nation of Israel. Tisha b'Av today commemorates
the destruction of the Second Temple rather than that of the First,
recognizing the fact that the second destruction was the greater
catastrophe for the Jewish people. It is marked as "A Day of National
Gloom." In the synagogues the Book of Lamentations is recited to a sad
and mournful melody. The book was written by the Prophet Jeremiah, who
warned the Jews to repent to prevent the fall of Jerusalem, which he
prophesized. His advice not only was ignored, but he also was
imprisoned for stating views that threatened the king's power. The
TORAH Sages also teach that the MESSIAH will be born on Tisha B'Av as a
sign that there is yet redemption in all the destruction.

At midnight there is a lamentation for the destruction of the Temple.
Then, people usually visit the cemetery after the morning service. On
the Ninth of Av in Jerusalem, devout Jews meet at the Kotel (Western
Wall) or visit the Tomb of David, voicing their grief and pain over the
fall of Jerusalem. One of the songs or chants is a mournful hymn known
as "The Wailing Song" which is said to date from the time of Ezra:
"HE is great, He is good: HE will build HIS Temple speedily:
In great haste, in great haste; in our own day speedily.
LORD, build; LORD, build, build YOUR Temple speedily.
HE will save, HE will save; HE will save HIS Israel speedily;
At this time now, Oh, LORD, in our own day speedily
LORD, save! LORD, save! Save YOUR people, Israel speedily."

One can almost hear the children of Israel praying at the end of the
Feast of Tabernacles on the day of the Great Hosanna: "Save now, I
beseech YOU, LORD!" and see HIM WHO is "THE ANSWER" to their prayer
standing in their midst. The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA is THE TEMPLE REBUILT
-- for HE was seemingly destroyed, but on the third day ALMIGHTY GOD
raised HIM from the dead! The Jew, whose eyes are opened to behold the
ANOINTED ONE of whom Moses and the prophets wrote, has no need to mourn,
to have Tisha b'Av day in his life! Whomever has accepted Yeshua (the
LORD JESUS) into their heart as MESSIAH, LORD & KING can declare with
David: "You have turned my lament into dancing, YOU put off my
sackcloth and girded me with joy and gladness, that my whole being might
sing hymns to YOU endlessly; O LORD my GOD, I will praise YOU forever."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 30. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim] May our HEAVENLY FATHER
hear our prayers that our long-awaited MESSIAH JESUS, the SON OF GOD,
the SON OF David, the KING of kings, come quickly. May HIS Holy Temple
be rebuilt speedily, even in our day.

Special Note: Tisha b'Av (9th of Av) starts tonight at sunset and lasts
until tomorrow evening (evening-to- evening). Tisha b'Av should hold
significance, not just for the Jewish people, but for everyone. The
threat of terrorism is worldwide, though most acutely felt and
experienced in Israel. Let us take this day to join hearts with our
Israeli and Jewish brethren around the world and offer united and
fervent prayer to our HEAVENLY FATHER, the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL, the LORD
OF HOSTS.

We invite everyone to join in solidarity with our Jewish friends and
family in fasting for 24-hours beginning at sunset tonight until sunset
tomorrow night and to pray for Israel. We encourage everyone to light a
candle in their homes this evening in memory of the Israelis who have
died in this present daily war with the Palestinians; and read Psalm 83
aloud. I encourage parents to gather their children and do this as a
family prayer time. Let us take this day to join hearts with our
Israeli and Jewish brethren around the world and offer united and
fervent prayer to our OMNIPOTENT LORD GOD for HIS mercy through
judgment; pray for the coming of KING MESSIAH speedily even in our day.

The actual intent of such practices are in preparation for coming to
grips with Israel's sin which led to the loss of the Temple, not just
once, but twice. When the spies returned from the land, there was
weeping when there should have been rejoicing. So, throughout history,
God has given Israel reason to mourn on this day, Tisha b'Av, the Ninth
day of the month of Av. Also, it is suggested as the day the Wondering
Hebrews sided against Joshua and Caleb's report that the Promised Land
could be conquered, thus sinning with the unfaithful spies.
[Numbers/B'Midvar 13. 30 - 31]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel! ...
Commit to obey GOD all the way to HIS Land of Promised in holiness and
integrity of life. Take advantage of every opportunity to express your
overwhelming gratitude for ALMIGHTY GOD'S goodness and grace to us, and
to renew our commitment to walk in loving obedience all the days of our
lives.
May our HEAVENLY FATHER hear our prayers -– that our long-awaited
MESSIAH YESHUA, the SON OF DAVID, KING of kings comes quickly. May HIS
Holy Temple be rebuilt speedily, even in our day.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Post  Admin Mon 08 Aug 2011, 12:15 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If we were to treat every person we met as if they were the MESSIAH,
then it wouldn't make any difference if they weren't.

REJECTION AT HOME
"But JESUS said to them— A prophet is not without honour except in
his own country, among his own relatives and in his own house." [Mark 6.
4]

JESUS' home town was Nazareth, it was here that HE grew and "increased
in wisdom and stature, and in favor with GOD and man." [Luke 2. 52]
YESHUA left Nazareth to be doing what HE had come into the world to do
which was established before the world began; calling HIS disciples,
teaching the multitudes, healing the sick, raising the dead, and
proclaiming the coming Kingdom.

After the early days of MESSIAH'S ministry, when HE returned to Nazareth
"as HIS custom was, HE went into the synagogue on Sabbath and stood up
to read." [Luke 4. 16] The LORD YESHUA had already been recognized
there as being proficient in the SCRIPTURES, as they had heard about HIS
miracles; so the invitation to speak was natural. However, there were
certain mumblings, "Is this not the carpenter's son?" they declared.
"Is not HIS mother called Miryam (Mary) and HIS brothers James, Joses,
Simon, and Judas? And HIS sisters, are they not all with us? Where then
did this MAN get all these things?" [Matthew 13. 55 - 56]

At first, "all bore witness to HIM and wondered at the gracious words
which proceeded out of HIS mouth." [Luke 4. 22] But as JESUS, the
BREAD OF LIFE, applied a key prophecy from the Book of Isaiah to HIMSELF
(Isaiah/Yeshayah 61. 1-2) and rebuked the crowd for their unbelief: "all
those in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with
wrath and rose up and thrust HIM out of the city; and they led HIM to
the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might
throw HIM down over the cliff." [Luke 4. 28 - 29]

"Even HIS brothers did not believe in HIM" [John 7. 5], and only JESUS'
Mother was with HIM when HE was crucified. [John 19. 25] As David had
written prophetically — "I am a stranger to my brothers, an alien to
my kin. MY zeal for YOUR House has been my undoing." [Psalms (Tehillym)
69. 8 - 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Therefore, if you have been rejected by your family and former friends,
you can identify more fully with the LORD, "For this reason I also
suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I
have believed and am persuaded that HE is able to keep what I have
committed to HIM until that Day." [2 Timothy 1. 12]

The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH said, "Whoever does the will of GOD is MY
brother, and MY sister and mother." [Mark 3. 35] Those of us who have
been or are rejected can rejoice greatly. . . knowing we're in good
company!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
ALMIGHTY HOLY GOD, grant us the privilege to be messengers of YOUR GOOD
TIDINGS to all around us. And, if it be YOUR perfect will, bestow on us
a life of health and peace, of sustenance and contentment. Help us to
love YOU steadfastly and above all, then to serve our fellow man, and to
order our way that it may be pleasing in YOUR DIVINE sight. Blessed are
YOU, LORD, the SHIELD of David, WHO is ever faithful to YOUR LIFE-GIVING
WORD.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Sun 07 Aug 2011, 8:00 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"Rabbi Akiba said— Everything is foreseen, yet freedom is given; the
world is judged by grace, yet all is according to the amount of good
works." [TALMUD, Aboth 3. 19]
However Scripture says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest
anyone should boast." [Ephesians 2:8-9]

PRESENT WORLD ENDS
"Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from
his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four
corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle,
whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of
the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city.
And fire came down from GOD out of heaven and devoured them. The devil,
who deceived them, was cast into the Lake of Fire & Brimstone where the
beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and
night forever and ever." [Revelation 20. 7 – 10]

All Satanic rebellion is completely crushed. And, the old heaven and
old earth, the testing grounds, will pass away. "Heaven and earth will
pass away, but MY WORDS will by no means pass away." [Luke 21. 33]
"YOU, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the
heavens are the work of YOUR hands. They will perish, but YOU remain;
and they will all grow old like a garment; like a cloak YOU will fold
them up, and they will be changed. But YOU are the same, and YOUR years
will not fail." [Hebrews 1. 10 - 12] "The world is passing away, and
the lust of it; but he who does the will of GOD abides forever." [1 John
2. 17]

This will occur at the time of the Great White Throne Judgment: "Then I
saw a Great White Throne and HIM WHO sat on it, from WHOSE face the
earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for
them...Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and
the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea."
[Revelation 20. 11; 21. 1]

The elements will be dissolved by fire: "All the host of heaven shall
be dissolved, the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 34. 4a Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The heavens and the earth which are
now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of
judgment and perdition of ungodly men — The Day of the LORD will
come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a
great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the
earth and the works that are in it will be burned up with fervent heat."
[2 Peter 3. 7, 10]

The Great White Throne Judgment will be accurate and just, based on the
words, actions, attitude, stewardship, thoughts and motives of each
individual. "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed,
nor hidden that will not be known." [Luke 12. 2] "I saw the dead, small
and great, standing before GOD, and books were opened. And another book
was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged
according to their works, by the things which were written in the Books.
The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered
up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according
to his works." [Revelation 20. 12 – 13]

The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA taught us to fear GOD: "And I say to you, MY
friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that
have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear:
Fear HIM WHO, after HE has killed, has power to cast into Hell; Yes, I
say to you, fear HIM!" [Luke 12. 4 – 5] For after the 1,000 Year
Kingdom, death and hell (a temporary confinement) will be cast into the
Lake of Fire, which is the eternal abode of all wicked. "Then Death and
Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. And
anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of
Fire — The cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually
immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in
the Lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second
death." [Revelation 20. 11 - 15; 21. 8] Their worm does not die and
the fire is not quenched." [Mark 9. 44, 46, 48]

Therefore beloved, looking forward to the things which are about to take
place, be diligent to be found by the RIGHTEOUS & HOLY LORD GOD in
peace, without spot and blameless.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Shabbat we ask YOU O LORD our KING to come with us
through our week keeping us mindful to walk in YOUR LIGHT. Keep YOUR
WORD near in our mouth and heart that we might do it. We thank YOU,
ALMIGHTY LORD, that you have done it all for us.
Have a good week. . . brighten the day of those around you!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Sat 06 Aug 2011, 3:21 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Eat onions and sit in the shade of contentment! (in other words)
—Satisfy yourself with little and live quietly.

GATE — DOOR — VEIL
"You shall make an enclosure for the Tabernacle on the south side."
[Exodus (Shemot) 27. 9 - 16 Tanakh, Torah]

In the three entrances of the Tabernacle we see MESSIAH YESHUA, THE GATE
(THE WAY), THE DOOR (THE TRUTH) and THE VEIL (THE LIFE). The number
"three" represents the GODhead, the TRINITY. OMNIPOTENT GOD'S fullness
is summed up in MESSIAH as shown in these three doorways. "For in HIM
dwells all the fullness of the GODhead bodily." [Colossians 2. 9] We
approach the fullness of spiritual life only through GOD'S SON, our
cherished, BELOVED REDEEMER.

THE GATE was 20 cubits x 5 cubits equaling 100. There is 100% salvation
which the LORD GOD purchased for all who will come to HIM. It was low
and wide, extending its arms (so to speak) to "whosoever will." This
Gate was supported by 4 Pillars. Those 4 Pillars show the Way to
Holiness that are found in the NEW COVENANT Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke
and John.

THE DOOR was 10 cubits x 10 cubits equaling 100 also. The ALMIGHTY ONE
has one-hundred percent fellowship for HIS own. This curtain was,
however, higher and narrower than the Gate. "Height" means greater and
a more enlarged spiritual experience. There is a narrower walk with
ETERNAL GOD, an enlarged and higher plane of living. It is through the
sanctifying of the SPIRIT OF GOD for fellowship and service with HIM.

Some followers of CHRIST stop after entering the GATE OF SALVATION; they
live selfishly, keeping silent concerning their salvation, and becoming
stagnant by not allowing the RIVERS OF LIVING WATER to flow through them
to others. They have entered the Court and have failed to explore
further into the heights of DIVINE GRACE.

After entering the Holy Place through THE DOOR, the priests would
minister to the LORD OF GLORY at the Golden Lampstand, the Table of
Showbread and the Altar of Incense. They would partake of and
participate in these illustrative objects showing their close
relationship with their GOD for the people. Those who enter into the
Holy Place with GOD receive more light, food and worship. Here the
CHRISTian grows in the knowledge of MESSIAH for HE is "THE LIGHT (Golden
Lampstand) OF THE WORLD." The LORD JESUS is "THE BREAD which came down
from heaven (Table of Showbread)." And, HE is the "GREAT INTERCESSOR
(Altar of Incense — taking the prayers of the saints to GOD
ALMIGHTY)." Here one can partake of the very life of the HOLY ONE and
continue to grow in the fullness of MESSIAH YESHUA, which is the will of
GOD concerning all who are HIS.

There were Five Pillars that held up the DOOR. The Pillars represent
ministries: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.
[Ephesians 4. 11]

Now we come to THE VEIL which was the entrance to the Holy of Holies.
It is also 10 cubits x 10 cubits, as was the Door, but it was even more
beautiful. There was added to it the design of the cherubim, the
guardians of GOD'S holiness. The Veil was made of cunning work —
the design and colours woven through the material so that it was seen on
both sides. Again, the ten-by-ten equals one hundred. . . GOD offers
100% of HIS glorious, holy presence to those who desire it for HE has
purchased it for them with HIS OWN precious blood! There is a more
beautiful walk with the HOLY ONE, it is the Way of Holiness; and without
holiness, no man shall see, understand, or know the ALMIGHTY ONE. The
Four Pillars holding the Veil that leads into the Holiest is
characteristics of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH: Wisdom, Righteousness,
Sanctification (Holiness) and Redemption. [1 Corinthians 1. 30] It is
here that we find the other two ministries: Priest and King. [Hebrews
6. 19 thru 7. 2]

Under the OLD COVENANT, the Israelites were restricted concerning the
Temple, for they were allowed only through THE GATE into the Court. They
were shut off from the Holy Place by the curtain called the Door. Only
the priests, the sons of Aaron, were allowed through this entrance. But
even the priests were shut off from the Holiest Place by the Veil.
Besides Moses, only one man, the high priest, was allowed through the
Veil into the Holy of Holies and that, only once a year and at that
time, he could not enter without blood! But, these restrictions were
changed — done away in MESSIAH YESHUA WHO fulfilled the OLD COVENANT
to establish the NEW. "JESUS, when HE had cried again with a loud
voice, and yielded up HIS SPIRIT. And behold, THE VEIL of the Temple was
torn in two from top to the bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks
were split." [Matthew 27. 50 - 51]

Have you entered into the Gate? the Door? through the Veil? How
intimately do you want to walk with the KING OF GLORY? The choice is
yours, the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH calls us to a higher and closer walk
with HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Come my dear friend, to meet the Bride, the Sabbath presence, let us
welcome. We honor & praise the LORD YESHUA, THE ONE, WHO gives true
Sabbath peace and rest and separates the sacred from the ordinary.
Blessings to all who love Zion!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Fri 05 Aug 2011, 6:32 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Believing is a fine thing, but placing those beliefs into implementation
is a test of strength.

BLESSED IS HE
"May he who enters be blessed in the NAME OF THE LORD! We bless you from
the HOUSE OF THE LORD." [Psalms (Tehillym) 118. 26 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This is the pinnacle of the great Messianic Psalm. It was fulfilled
when YESHUA THE REDEEMER rode into Jerusalem on a little donkey just one
week before He died bearing the sins of the world, fulfilling the
prophecy of Zechariah, "Rejoice greatly Fair Zion! Shout! Raise a shout,
O daughter of Jerusalem! Lo, your KING is coming to you. HE is
victorious and just, triumphant and having salvation, yet humble, riding
on an ass, on a donkey foaled by a she-ass." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 9. 9
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

As YESHUA rode into Jerusalem, multitudes of people "took branches of
palm trees and went out to meet HIM, and cried out — HOSANNA!
Blessed is HE WHO comes in the NAME OF THE LORD — the KING OF
ISRAEL!" [John 12. 13]

Now, like then, most people doubt and reject the LORD JESUS all
together, crying out for HIM to be put to death. Although HE knew this
is what would happen, HE had already foretold it's happening— "O
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those
who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children
together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not
willing! See! your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say
to you, you shall not see ME until the time comes when you say —
Blessed is HE WHO comes in the NAME OF THE LORD!" [Luke 13. 34 - 35]

The principle applies to us individually, although it was especially
meant for the nation as a whole. When anyone hears the call of the LORD
JESUS, IF he welcomes the GLORIOUS ONE, the RIGHTEOUS MESSIAH will,
without doubt, come into his heart, "whom having not seen you love, yet
believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
receiving the end of your faith — the salvation of your souls." [1
Peter 1. 8 - 9] And with faithful and sincere thanks we bless HIM WHO
came that we might live.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold
their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep
silent, and give HIM no rest till HE establishes and till HE makes
Jerusalem a praise in the earth. - Isaiah/Yeshayah 62:6-7

For all things, O GOD our KING, we bless and exalt YOU for ever and
ever. YOU are the ROCK of our lives, the SHIELD of our salvation through
every generation. YOU, LORD GOD are good, YOUR mercies fail not and YOUR
loving kindnesses never cease. We give YOU thanks and glory and praise
for this is befitting, Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Thu 04 Aug 2011, 12:50 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Worrying about tomorrow's troubles only robs you of today's
strength.

GREAT DIVIDER
"Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at
all, but rather division." [Luke 12. 51]

The HIGH & LOFTY ONE has been the GREAT DIVIDER from the beginning of
creation. The first day ELOHIYM "separated the light from the
darkness" — on the second day, HE "separated the water which was
below the expanse from the water which was above the expanse." [Genesis
(Bereshith) 1. 4, 7 Tanakh, Torah] When the ALMIGHTY ONE first created
man, they walked together in perfect fellowship. However, sin then came
in and made a division between man and CREATOR GOD. Although, when we
were enemies, "we were reconciled to GOD by the death of HIS SON."
[Romans 5. 10]

The price has been paid for full reconciliation with our BELOVED
REDEEMER, but "men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds
were evil" [John 3. 19], so MESSIAH YESHUA HIMSELF is now the RIGHTEOUS
ONE WHO divides. "He that believes on the SON has everlasting life; and
he that believes not the SON shall not see life; but the wrath of GOD
abides on him." [John 3. 36]

The GALILEAN, the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH divides all history and
all chronology. Time is even divided accordingly: "Before CHRIST
(Before CHRIST/Before Common Era)" or "in the year of our LORD (After
Death). " Men are either under the OLD COVENANT or the NEW COVENANT.
In particular, HE divides humanity. "There was a division among the
people because of HIM." [John 7. 43; 9. 16; 10. 19] As a result, these
divisions can be severely intense: "Father will be divided against son
and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against
mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in- law and daughter-in- law
against her mother-in-law. " [Luke 12. 53]

In conclusion, when the ETERNAL ALL-WISE MEDIATOR comes to judge all
nations, HE will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides
his sheep from the goats — "and these shall go away into
everlasting punishment; but the righteous into life eternal." [Matthew
25. 32, 46] The division is life or death, light or darkness, heaven or
hell, the LORD JESUS or the Antichrist. The choice is all ours, but the
result and conclusion is HIS in the final judgment! Choose this day
whom you will serve.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
O LORD, help me to be ever more like YOU, holy for YOU are holy, loving
for YOU are love. And to be truly thankful, we must take all the SUN OF
RIGHTEOUSNESS, the LORD GOD has given to us and done for us. . . and
then use it for HIS glory in loving and serving others.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Keep three things in mind that you may escape the results of evil: Know
where you came from, where you are going, and before Whom you will have
to give a full account.

MOMENTS
"For a little while I forsook you; but with great mercies and vast love
I will bring you back. In a little wrath, for a moment, I hid MY face
from you; but with kindness everlasting I will have mercy on you and
take you back in love, says the LORD your REDEEMER." [Isaiah (Yeshayah)
54. 7 - 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This compassionately gracious promise to Israel gives a praiseworthy
insight into the character of the LORD GOD as well as the relation of
time-to-eternity. The DIVINE LOVING OMNISCIENT CREATOR is also a GOD OF
WRATH — for HE must punish unrepentant sin in HIS people.
Nevertheless HE is much more the GOD OF MERCY. HIS prolonged judgment on
HIS chosen people, Israel, is only for a tiny moment compared to HIS
everlasting kindness toward redeemed Israel in the ages to come.

This theme occurs a number of times in HOLY SCRIPTURE: "For HIS anger
endures but for a moment" David said, "when HE is pleased there is life;
weeping may linger for the night, but at dawn there are shouts of joy."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 30. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] To those faithful to the
EMINENT ONE during a time of judgment against their nation or against
the world, the ALMIGHTY says, "Go! MY people, enter your chambers, lock
your door behind you; hide but a little moment, until the indignation
passes." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 26. 20 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

A time for testing or a time for judgment may persistently continue for
many days, months or even years. Comparatively, however, this is only a
moment in relation to an eternity of the blessing to come.

The word "moment (Hebrew: rega)" plainly expresses sudden, instant, wink
of the eye, quick. Applied explicitly to NEW COVENANT CHRISTians, it is
said— "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is
working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." [2
Corinthians 4. 17] "For behold! I am creating a new heaven and a new
earth; the former things shall not be remembered, they shall never come
to mind. In all MY Sacred Mount, the Holy Land, nothing evil or vile
shall be done — says the LORD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17, 25
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Mercifully and lovingly the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL allows trials to
discipline, guide and develop us. This works to our advantage as
impurities are being removed, leaving behind only that which is lasting,
precious and pleasing. The goal of our lives is to bring praise, honour
and glory to our LORD GOD and MESSIAH YESHUA. If troubles, sufferings,
and grief can best achieve this supreme priority, so let it be. May the
OMNIPOTENT GOD OF HEAVEN & EARTH give us eyes of faith to see these
moments of affliction in the light of eternal glory with HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!!
May your ever-growing faith in the GREAT & LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER and
CHRIST JESUS, HIS PRECIOUS SON, grant you the privilege to witness and
experience the marvelous miracle of being delivered from the yoke of
slavery to sin and its consequences.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is wrong to define education as "preparation for life." Learning is
life, a supreme experience of living, a climax of existence. [Abraham
Joshua Heschel]

RESTORATION OF ISRAEL & THE GENTILES
"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the LORD, and
that HE may send MESSIAH YESHUA, WHO was preached to you before, whom
heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which
GOD has spoken by the mouth of all HIS holy prophets since the world
began." [Acts 3. 19 - 21]

The LORD declared and will make good HIS promise to restore and cause
the whole House of Israel and Judah to dwell in safety. "Therefore MY
people shall know MY NAME; therefore they shall learn on that day, that
I the ONE WHO promised, am now at hand — Behold, it is I. — How
beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who
proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims
salvation, who says to Zion — Your GOD reigns! — Break forth
into joy, sing together, you ruins of Jerusalem! For the LORD will
comforted HIS people, HE will redeem Jerusalem. The LORD will bare HIS
holy arm in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth
shall see the victory of our GOD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 52. 6 – 7, 9
– 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Not only people, but the land and the Temple will be constructed and
establish: "Thus said the LORD OF HOSTS — There shall yet be old
men and old women in the squares of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand
because of their great age. The squares of the City shall be crowded
with boys and girls Playing in its streets. Behold, I will save MY
people from the land of the east and from the land of the west, I will
bring them back, and they shall dwell in Jerusalem. They shall be MY
people and I will be their GOD — in truth and righteousness. Take
courage, you who now hear these words by the mouth of the prophets who
spoke in the day the foundation was laid for the House of the LORD OF
HOSTS, that the Temple might be built." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 8. 4
– 5, 7 – 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Truly, the LORD shall comforted Zion, HE will comfort all her waste
places (her ruins); and HE will make her wilderness like Eden, her
desert like the Garden of YEHOWAH. Joy and gladness, thanksgiving and
the voice of melody will be found in Zion." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 51. 3
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"In the days to come, the Mount of the LORD'S HOUSE shall stand firm on
the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills; and all
nations shall flow unto it. Many people shall go and say — Come, and
let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the House of the GOD OF
JACOB; HE will instruct us in HIS ways, and we shall walk in HIS paths.
For out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and the WORD OF THE LORD from
Jerusalem." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 2. 2 – 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Men shall
worship YEHOWAH, every one from his own land, even all the isles of the
nations (Hebrew: ha'Goyim — the Gentiles)." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah)
2. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"For I am a great KING — says the LORD OF HOSTS — and MY NAME is
to be feared among the nations...From the rising of the sun, even to its
going down, MY NAME is honoured among the nations (Jews & Gentiles); and
everywhere incense is burnt and pure sacrifices are offered to MY NAME;
for MY NAME shall be great among the nations (Jews & Gentiles) —
says the LORD OF HOSTS." [Malachi (Malakhi) 1. 14, 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy
to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For all
creation eagerly waits in earnest expectation for the revealing of the
sons of GOD. For creation itself will also be delivered from the bondage
of corruption (death, decay) into the glorious liberty of the children
of GOD. For we know that the whole creation groans in labors of birth
pangs until now. Not only that, but we ourselves groan within ourselves,
waiting eagerly for the adoption, the redemption of our body." [Romans
8. 18 - 24]

How absolutely amazing, glorious and magnificent that time will be, when
these things shall be conspicuously evident and clearly visible.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Welcome Sabbath, Queen of the week! We praise and bless you O GOD, for
lovingly and graciously giving YOUR Holy Shabbat to all peoples. May it
be YOUR will that our homes become a sanctuary worthy of YOUR HOLY
PRESENCE wherein YOUR NAME shall be hallowed, that YOU may come and
grant YOUR blessings and YOUR divine grace be made manifest on this
sacred day. We give ourselves over into YOUR keeping, our hearts
contrite, and our prayers made with a repentant heart.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Mon 01 Aug 2011, 5:36 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither; let my tongue
stick to my palate if I cease to think of you, if I do not keep
Jerusalem in memory even at my happiest hour." [Psalms (Tehillym) 137. 5
– 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

THE NINE DAYS
"When you have begotten children and children's children and are long
established in the land, should you act wickedly and make for yourselves
a sculptured image in any likeness, causing the LORD your GOD
displeasure and vexation, I call heaven and earth this day to witness
against you, that you shall soon utterly perish from the land that you
are crossing the Jordan to possess; you shall not long endure in it, but
shall be utterly destroyed. The LORD will scatter you among the peoples,
and only a scant few of you will be left among the nations to which the
LORD will drive you. There you will serve man-made gods of wood and
stone, that cannot see or hear or eat or smell.
But if you search there for the LORD your GOD, you will find HIM, if
only you seek HIM with all your heart and soul - when you are in
distress because all these things have befallen you and, in the end,
return to the LORD your GOD and obey HIM. For the LORD your GOD is a
MERCIFUL GOD, HE will not forsake you nor will HE let you perish; HE
will not forget the covenant which HE made on oath with your fathers.
You have but to ask about bygone ages that came before you, ever since
GOD created man on the earth, from one end of heaven to the other, has
anything as grand as this ever happened, or has its like ever been
known? Has any people ever heard the VOICE OF GOD speaking out of a
fire, as you have heard, and live? Or has any god ventured to go and
take for himself one nation from the midst of another by prodigious
acts, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched
arm, and awesome power, as the LORD your GOD did for you in Egypt before
your very eyes?
You have been shown to know that the LORD alone is GOD; there is none
beside HIM. Out of heaven HE let you hear HIS VOICE, that HE might
instruct you; on earth HE let you see HIS great fire, and from amidst
that fire you heard HIS WORDS. And because HE loved your fathers, HE
chose their descendants after them; HE HIMSELF brought you out of Egypt
with HIS PRESENCE, in HIS great might, to drive from your path nations
greater and mightier than you, to take you into their land and assign it
to you as a heritage, as it is this day.
Know therefore this day and consider it in your heart that the LORD
alone is GOD in heaven above and on earth below; there is no other. You
shall therefore keep HIS statutes and HIS commandments which I enjoin
upon you this day, that it may go well with you and with your children
after you, and that you may long remain in the land that the LORD your
GOD is giving you for all time." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 4. 25 - 40
Tanakh, Torah]

Tonight begins a period known as "The Nine Days" — the days from
Rosh Chodesh (head of the month), the month of Av to the fast of the
ninth of Av (Tisha b'Av). In Jewish communities worldwide, prohibitions
intended to decrease joy are implemented. All these reach a climax on
the Fast of the Ninth of Av, a fast similar to Yom Kippur. During this
time, we increase our solemn attitudes toward the Temple and of its
loss. We are especially careful to keep our thoughts upon the
destruction of the Holy Place and of the lifestyle that was lost with
its destruction. There are no celebrations, no weddings, and no
haircuts! Among the Orthodox, even bathing is kept to a minimum and
freshly laundered clothes are not worn. These prohibitions are not
intended to be overwhelming, but to turn our minds toward the
seriousness of sin and its consequences.

Yet, even in destruction there is consolation. After Jeremiah prophesied
judgment, he delivered a message of deliverance to the nation of Judah.
"For I am with you to deliver you — declares the LORD. I will make
an end of all the nations among which I have dispersed you; but I will
not make an end of you! I will not leave you unpunished, but will
chastise you in measure." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 30. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im;
see also 46. 28]

The discipline of GOD OMNIPOTENT is a means to an end; that is, a
restored relationship through repentance. "Let us search and examine our
ways, and turn back to the LORD. Let us lift up our heart rather than
our hands to GOD in heaven...I have called on yOUR nAME, O LORD, from
the depths of the Pit. Hear my plea — Do not shut your ear to my
groan, to my cry! — YOU have ever drawn nigh when I called YOU; YOU
said — Do not fear! — YOU championed my cause, O LORD, YOU have
redeemed my life." [Lamentations (Ekhah) 3. 40 – 41, 55 – 58
Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Through judgment, we are reminded of our need for GOD'S mercy. The
month of Av reminds us that we are sustained by the mercy of the MOST
HIGH GOD. When properly grasped, this consolation of Av naturally leads
us to the next stepÂ…the repentance of the month, Elul.

We encourage everyone to light a candle in their homes this evening in
memory of the Israelis who have died in past and present wars and read
Psalm 83 aloud. I encourage parents to gather their children and do
this as a family prayer time. Let us take this day to join hearts with
our Israeli and Jewish brethren around the world and offer united and
fervent prayer to our HEAVENLY FATHER.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
May our HEAVENLY FATHER hear our prayers. . . that our long-awaited
MESSIAH YESHUA, THE SON OF DAVID, KING of kings comes quickly. And, may
YOUR Holy Temple be rebuilt speedily, even in our day. Amen & Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Sun 31 Jul 2011, 10:29 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Failure will hurt, but not hinder us…Disillusion will pain, but not
dishearten us…Sorrows will shake, but not break us.

WICKEDNESS OF UNBELIEF
"Stone him to death (whoever may entice you to worship other gods), for
he sought to make you stray from the LORD your GOD WHO brought you out
of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thus all Israel will
hear and be afraid, and such evil wickedness will not be done again in
your midst." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 13. 10 - 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Enticing persuasion and beguiling influence causing others to reject the
LORD GOD is the "wickedness" this passage of HOLY SCRIPTURE is talking
about. It addresses how the ALMIGHTY ONE judges and deals with the sin
of unbelief — especially the one who endeavors to persuade others to
disbelieve the infinite love and sacrifice of MESSIAH YESHUA WHO
suffered and died for their sins. YEHOWAH warned those who turned away
from HIM: "Lo, I have it (GOD'S vengeances) all put away, sealed up in
MY storehouses, to be MY vengeance and recompense, at the time that
their foot falters. For the day of their calamity is near, and the
things to come hasten upon them." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 34 - 35
Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Matthew's Gospel tells us, "Whoever speaks against the HOLY SPIRIT, it
will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come."
[Matthew 12. 32] Significantly Mark likewise warns, "he who blasphemes
against the HOLY SPIRIT never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal
condemnation. " [Mark 3. 29] However, unbelief in MESSIAH YESHUA is
another sin which GOD cannot and will not forgive. CHRIST died for all
our sins, thus providing the blood atonement for forgiveness to all who
will accept HIS Gift of Salvation. JESUS' own words were, "He who
believes in HIM is not condemned; but he who does not believe is
condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only
begotten SON OF GOD. And this is the condemnation, that the light has
come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because
their deeds were evil." [John 3. 18 - 19]

These words are spoken by the LORD JESUS, the TRUE & FAITHFUL WITNESS,
speaking of those who have spurned HIS sacrificial love. "Anyone who
has rejected Moses' Law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or
three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he
be thought worthy who has trampled the SON OF GOD underfoot, counted the
blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and
insulted the SPIRIT OF GRACE? For we know HIM WHO said — Vengeance
is MINE; I will repay — says the LORD. And again — The LORD will
judge HIS people. — It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of
the LIVING GOD." [Hebrews 10. 28 - 31]

One of the last warnings in LIFE-GIVING WORD is in regards to "the
cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral,
sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake
which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
[Revelation 21. 8] It is an unforgivable and wicked thing to reject or
simply ignore the only REDEEMER & LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! "Beware, brethren,
lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from
the LIVING GOD." [Hebrews 3. 12] Don't any of you be hardened through
the deceitfulness of sin and "do not be deceived, GOD is not mocked; for
whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." [Galatians 6. 7] The
RIGHTEOUS JUDGE of all flesh never sleeps nor slumbers. . . take heed
and receive a good reward.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Shabbas, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE
dwells within us, bless you abundantly.
Who is like YOU, AWESOME CREATOR GOD? Who is like YOU, glorious in
holiness, revered in worship, wondrous in works? Eternal is YOUR power,
O LORD, YOU are mighty to save. In loving-kindness YOU sustain the
living; in the multitude of YOUR mercies, YOU preserve all. YOU uphold
the falling, heal the sick; bring freedom to the captives and keep faith
with YOUR children in death as in life. Who is like YOU, ALMIGHTY GOD,
AUTHOR of life and death, SOURCE of salvation? Truly, there is none like
YOU, O LORD my GOD!

Post  Admin Sat 30 Jul 2011, 12:43 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The real and the spiritual are one, like body and soul in a living man.
It is for the law to clear the path; it is for the soul to sense the
spirit.

WHICH SHEBA
"The descendants of Ham (son of Noah): Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
The descendants of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtecah.
The descendants of Raamah: SHEBA and DEDAN." [Genesis (Bereshith) 10. 7
Tanakh, Torah] This list of Ham's genealogy shows his sons and their
families.

"Abraham (a Semite, descendant of Shem) took another wife, named Keturah
(after Sarah's death). She bore him Zimram and Jokshan. Jokshan begot
SHEBA and DEDAN." [Genesis (Bereshith) 25. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Torah]
"Abraham willed all that he owned to Isaac; but to Abraham's sons by
concubines Abraham gave gifts while he was still living, and he sent
them away from his son Isaac EASTWARD, to the land of the EAST."
[Genesis (Bereshith) 25. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Torah] Consider the names, Sheba
and Dedan — they are alike, but the people are separate as well as
their ancestry. The nationalities are completely different. Hence, the
locations of the homeland are either found in Ethiopia (which is south
of Egypt), or Arabia.

When the Queen of Sheba came to visit Solomon and test his wisdom, she
came from the South (Arabia) not from Africa. The LORD JESUS confirmed
this location when HE was teaching and the Scribes and Pharisees
demanded of HIM a sign. MESSIAH affirmed — "the queen of the south
will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for
she came from the ENDS OF THE EARTH to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and
indeed a greater than Solomon is here." [Matthew 12. 42] South Arabia
is at "the end of the earth (after that there is only water)" as it is a
peninsula in the Arabian Sea (modern Oman & Yemen).

The "Sheba of Arabia" is an established region of land while the "Sheba
of Ethiopia" is part of the Ethiopian people and not a separate
geographical location.

Likewise, the exaggerated story that Solomon and the Queen of Sheba had
a son together and that the son's descendents later took the Ark of the
Covenant to Ethiopia simply is "a fable, a legend, a myth" giving favor
to the Wicked Devil and his evil lies and deceits. HOLY SCRIPTURE
records, "King Solomon, in turn, gave the Queen of Sheba everything she
expressed a desire for, exceeding in return for what she had brought to
the king. Then she and her courtiers left and returned to her own land."
[2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 9. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Many claim and accept an ethnic group of the Ethiopians to be of Jewish
descent due to their religious practices. However, these "acquired
customs" were adopted when the world-spread fame of Solomon caused
peoples from all nations to seek Solomon's TRUE & LIVING GOD. As was in
the case with Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch, "So he (Philip) arose and
went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under
Candace the Queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury,
and had come to Jerusalem to worship, was returning. And sitting in his
chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet." [Acts 8. 27 - 28] Even
long years after Solomon, the whole world knew about the MIGHTY GOD OF
ISRAEL.

Instead of believing everything we hear, we should check out the HOLY
SCRIPTURES for ourselves. Search GOD'S WRITTEN WORD, line-upon-line,
compare the TRUE SCRIPTURES and history with the legendary accounts,
which are but fables, and myths that you may be able to discern between
TRUTH and lies. Many cults and isms have originated from these errors,
so Beware! "For the time will come when they will not endure sound
doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching
ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn
their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." [2
Timothy 4. 3 - 4] Know in WHOM you believe, and live confident in HIS
amazing truth.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world HE created. May
Your will be fulfilled and YOUR sovereignty revealed, MOST HOLY ONE, in
the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel
speedily and in our time, Amen. May YOU be blessed forever, even
throughout all eternity. May YOU, be blessed, praised & honored,
extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above all else. Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
We are only as strong as what we struggle with.

ALMOST ALL
"According to the Law, ALMOST ALL things are purified with blood, and
without shedding of blood there is no remission." [Hebrews 9. 22]

In the OLD COVENANT sin is dealt with by a sacrifice of blood for a
covering. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given
it to you for making expiation for your lives upon the altar; it is the
blood, as life, that effects atonement." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11
Tanakh, Torah] The Hebrew word "kaphar" means atone, cleans,
cover-over, forgive, pardon, purge, propitiate, or reconcile.

Chapter 4 of Leviticus lists the sacrifices required for sins done
unintentionally by a common person, a ruler, or the whole congregation.
However, they were only for unintentional sins, not for premeditated
willful sins. There was no covering for any sins done deliberately.
The person who emphatically sins was to be cut off because of their
wickedness.

The Almighty ONE tells us that there are those we are not even to pray
for. "As for you, do not pray for this people, do not raise a cry or
pray for them, do not make intercession to Me; for I will not listen to
you...they vex and provoke Me to anger to their own disgrace." [Jeremiah
(Yirmeyah) 7. 16, 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "This is the nation that would
not obey the LORD their GOD, nor accept correction. Truth and
faithfulness has perished vanished from their mouths." [Jeremiah
(Yirmeyah) 7. 28 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Do not pray for the benefit of this
people." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 14. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

In the New Covenant also, the only covering for unintentional sin is
blood — the most precious blood of the SUPREME SACRIFICE, MESSIAH
YESHUA, GOD'S ONLY–BEGOTTEN SON. "GOD demonstrates HIS OWN love
toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us. Much
more then, having now been justified by HIS blood, we shall be saved
from wrath through HIM." [Romans 5. 8 - 9] And you have been "washed,
you were sanctified, you were justified in the NAME of the LORD JESUS
and by the SPIRIT of our GOD." [1 Corinthians 6. 11]

However, if one willfully sins "after we have received the knowledge of
the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins." [Hebrews 10.
26] Those who have such contempt, despise and totally reject MESSIAH
YESHUA, WHO is GOD'S "MAGNIFICENT METHOD" of dealing with sin will
receive a much worse punishment for they have "trampled the SON of GOD
underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified
a common thing, and insulted the SPIRIT OF GRACE?" [Hebrews 10. 29]
When the LORD ETERNAL judges HIS people, assuredly it will be, "a
fearful thing to fall into the hands of the LIVING GOD." [Hebrews 10. 30
- 31]

Though we were enemies of the HOLY GOD, through the death of HiS SON we
can be justified by the blood of the LAMB, and saved from wrath of GOD
through YesHUA ha'MASHIACH, the only ONE through Whom we can receive
reconciliation. The GIVER OF THE LAW calls even now: "BEHOLD! NOW IS
THE ACCEPTED TIME; BEHOLD, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION." [2 Corinthians
6. 2] The power of the LORD ETERNAL, the MASTER OF MERCY & TRUTH, is
mighty to save; don't turn HIM away!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Good Sabbath! Those who keep Sabbath and call it a delight shall rejoice
in GOD'S Kingdom. Through the common days flow the refreshing waters of
GOD'S loving-kindness, yet we forget THE SOURCE. May this hour awaken
within us a sense of our dependence upon YOU. Create in us a clean heart
and renew a right spirit within us that we may face our daily duty with
a firm courage and a tranquil mind. May we learn to know that in loving
and serving our fellowmen, we re loving and serving YOU, O MERCIFUL ONE.
May the spirit of the Sabbath fill our life with its blessed peace
through YOUR PRECIOUS SON, YESHUA THE ANOINTED ONE, Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you don't have words, share what you have, share the silence.

MAGNIFIED MERCY
"Oh no, my lord! Your servant has found favor in your sight, and you
have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but
I cannot flee to the hills, lest the disaster overtake me and I die."
[Genesis (Bereshith) 19. 19 Tanakh, Torah]

This audacious and impudent plea of Lot, son of Haran (Abraham's
brother), to the angels who had spared his life when they called down
fire from heaven to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, contains the first
reference in HOLY SCRIPTURE to the mercy (Hebrew: checed) of GOD
ALMIGHTY. Though Lot was a righteous man, he had a selfish,
unregenerate attitude. Nevertheless, the MOST HIGH GOD not only showed
HIS grace in dealings with Lot, but even magnified HIS mercy, love and
great kindness to him.

This first mentioning of mercy therefore lays the foundation for the
ruling theme of the doctrine of CREATOR GOD'S checed throughout the
WRITTEN WORD. The mercy of our LOVING GOD can only be properly
described as being exceptionally excellent, and this fact is repeatedly
confirmed throughout HOLY SCRIPTURE.

David said — "The LORD'S steadfast checed (mercy) is from
everlasting to everlasting, for all eternity toward those who fear HIM,
and HIS beneficence (Hebrew: tsedaqah – righteous, justice, charity)
is for the children's children of those who keep HIS covenant and
remember to observe HIS precepts." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 17 - 18
Tanakh, Kethuvim] "For as the heaven is high above the earth, so
great is HIS mercy toward those who fear Him." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103.
11 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Our LOVING LORD GOD'S mercy is unlimited,
measureless, eternal and infinite; and HIS compassion never fails.
Nothing could ever be more marvelously magnificent than this!

The Apostle Paul said of the HOLY ONE, HE is "rich in mercy, because of
HIS great love with which HE loved us." [Ephesians 2. 4] Peter even
spoke of "His abundant mercy has begotten us again into a lively hope
through the resurrection of MESSIAH YESHUA from the dead." [1 Peter 1.
3]

It is only "according to HIS great mercy HE saved us not by works of
righteousness which we have done." [Titus 3. 5] We can say as King
David did, "Only goodness, mercy and steadfast love will pursue me all
the days of my life; and I will dwell in the HOUSE OF THE LORD forever."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 23. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim] How very grateful we
should be to the ETERNAL, GREAT & MIGHTY GOD for HIS everlasting mercy!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Encourage one another! And so much the more, as you see the day of
MESSIAH'S return drawing near. Grace be with you all. Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Wed 27 Jul 2011, 8:34 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The tragedy of life is not in the fact of death, but that so many die
without ever having lived by knowing the SAVIOR.

JERICHO'S ENIGMA
"Do this six days, with seven priests bearing seven rams' horns
preceding the Ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven
times, with the priests blowing the horns." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 6. 4
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The battle plan to conquer Jericho violated every ordinance of the
TORAH, for the Levites were to be exempt from military duties, yet they
led the procession. [Leviticus/Vayikra 1. 2 - 3; 45 - 49] "The priests
took up the Ark of the LORD while seven priests bearing seven rams'
horns marched in front of the Ark of the LORD, blowing the horns as they
marched. And the armed men went in front of them, and the rear guard
marched behind the Ark of the LORD, with the horns sounding all the
time." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 6. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This also looks as if they were also violating the Sabbath, for here at
Jericho they marched seven times as much as on the other six days. "On
the seventh day (Sabbath), they rose at daybreak and marched around the
city, in the same manner, seven times; that was the only day that they
marched around the city seven times." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 6. 15 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

This instance is the forerunner as anticipated for the "seven trumpet
judgments" in Revelation 8 & 9. It is interesting to note that Joshua
instructed them to "maintain silence" until the final series of seven on
the seventh day. "Do not shout do not let your voices be heard, and do
not let a sound issue from your lips UNTIL the moment that I command you
SHOUT! Then you shall shout." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 6. 10 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

In Revelation there is a strange period of silence prior to the seven
trumpets. "When HE opened the seventh seal, there was silence in
heaven for about half an hour." [Revelation 8. 1] When our OMNIPOTENT
HOLY GOD is present, what can man possibly utter; for GOD "will guard
the steps of HIS faithful saints, but the wicked shall be silent in
darkness and shall perish for not by strength shall man prevail."
[1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 2. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

And, when the RIGHTEOUS ALMIGHTY ONE is aroused from HIS Holy
Habitation, man must be still: "Let us be silent...for the LORD our GOD
has put us to silence...because we sinned against the LORD." [Jeremiah
(Yirmeyah) 8. 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The LORD is in HIS Holy Temple
let all the earth be silent before HIM." [Habakkuk 2. 20] "Be silent all
flesh, before the LORD! For HE is roused from HIS Holy Habitation."
[Zechariah (Zecharyah) 2. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

If we would but trust and obey, we would find HIS way to be perfect and
proven; and, when we cannot see, we can clearly follow HIS VOICE. "The
WAY OF GOD is perfect; the WORD OF THE LORD is proven pure; HE is a
SHIELD to all who seek refuge and trust in HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 18.
30 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Open your mouth in holiness and purity, with song and psalm, and bless
and praise, glorify and revere, sanctify and ascribe sovereignty to the
NAME of the DIVINE KING, the GREAT, MIGHTY & AWESOME ONE, holy is HE.
Take upon yourself the yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven and give sanction
to one another to bless the CREATOR. In tranquil joy of spirit, with
pure speech and holy melody exclaim: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD OF
HOSTS, the whole earth is full of HIS glory."

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Tue 26 Jul 2011, 9:57 am

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
He whose works are greater than his knowledge is like a tree with many
roots and few branches, of which all the winds of heaven cannot uproot.

MESSIAH, THE KOSHER ATONEMENT
"Make sure that you do not partake of the blood; for the blood is the
life, and you must not consume the life with the flesh. You must not
partake of it; you must pour it out on the ground like water; you must
not partake of it, in order that it may go well with you and with your
descendants to come, for you will be doing what is right in the sight of
the LORD." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 12. 23 - 25 Tanakh, Torah]

Orthodox Jews are very careful in their method of killing animals for
food. The slaughtering must cause instantaneous unconsciousness and
permit the greatest effusion of blood, giving great regard to prevent
the slightest unnecessary suffering. "You shall be holy people to ME
— you must not eat flesh torn by beasts in the field; you shall cast
it to the dogs." [Exodus (Shemot) 22. 31 Tanakh, Torah] "You must not
consume any blood, either of bird or of animal in any of your
settlements. Anyone who eats blood shall be cut off from his kin."
[Leviticus (Vayikra) 7. 26 - 27 Tanakh, Torah] "For the life of the
flesh is in the blood, and I have assigned it to you to make atonement
for your lives upon the altar; it is the blood, as life, that makes
atonement." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

The precious blood of the LORD YESHUA was drained from HIM for the life
of the world. HE was torn by "wild beasts" or "strong bulls of Bashan"
according to the prophecy. [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
HE was made "unfit (Hebrew: terefah, tref)" — therefore the Jewish
people, as a nation did not partake of HIM. In prophecy they declared:
"HE (MESSIAH JESUS) has no form or beauty, that we should look at HIM;
no charm, that we should find HIM pleasing and desire HIM. HE is
despised and rejected by men, a MAN of sorrows and suffering, familiar
with grief and disease. We hid, as it were, our faces from HIM. HE was
despised, we held HIM of no account." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 53. 2 - 3
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

But, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH was cursed for the sake of the sinner! HE was
made "unfit" that the sinner might be accepted in HIM. The LORD JESUS
was made sin that all believing on HIM might be made righteous! This
was to fulfill the WORD OF GOD concerning the MESSIAH OF ISRAEL WHO is
the SAVIOR of the World. For this, I can only bow my knees and humbly
thank my WONDERFUL LORD!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
With great love have YOU loved us, O our GOD, and with exceeding
compassion have YOU borne with us. YOU taught us YOUR Holy Laws of life
and showed us the WAY of wisdom. We beseech YOU, O MERCIFUL ONE, to
grant us discernment, that we may understand and fulfill all the
Teaching of YOUR WORD. Make us willingly obedient with pleasure to obey
YOUR commandments and fill our hearts with love and reverence for YOU.
Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is better to be ashamed of yourself than for others to be ashamed of
you.

BE THE EXAMPLE
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in
word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity...give
attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Do not neglect the
gift that is in you." [1 Timothy 4. 12 - 14]

After receiving MESSIAH LORD YESHUA as our SAVIOR and DELIVERER from
sin's bondage, HE gives us a work to do — not for our salvation
— HE alone can save us, but we are to do HIS WILL to show our love
for HIM to those around us as well as to principalities and powers in
high places. And, we are to continue being faithful witnesses of HIM.
"When I say of the righteous 'he shall surely live' and relying on his
righteousness, he commits iniquity, NONE of his righteous deeds shall be
remembered; but for the iniquity that he has committed HE SHALL DIE."
[Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 33. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Therefore, as faithful believers who love our LORD JESUS, we should
continue in:
WORD: "For the WORD OF GOD is living and powerful, and sharper than any
two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and
of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of
the heart." [Hebrews 4. 12]

CONDUCT: "Abstain from all appearance (every form) of evil." [1
Thessalonians 5. 22]

LOVE: "This is MY commandment, that you love one another as I have loved
you." [John 15. 12]

SPIRIT: "By this we know that we abide in HIM, and HE in us, because HE
has given us of HIS SPIRIT." [1 John 4. 13]

FAITH: "Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." [James 2.
17]

PURITY: "Draw near to GOD and HE will draw near to you. Cleanse your
hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. " [James
4. 8]

INTERPRETATION: "Be diligent to present yourself approved to GOD, a
worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD OF
TRUTH." [2 Timothy 2. 15]

EXHORTATION: "Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil
heart of unbelief in departing from the LIVING GOD; but exhort one
another daily, while it is called "Today" — lest any of you be
hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." [Hebrews 3. 12 - 13]

DOCTRINE: "Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them,
for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you."
[1 Timothy 4. 16] "Stand fast and hold the traditions which you were
taught, whether by word or our epistle." [2 Thessalonians 2. 15]

Know for certain that "we are HIS workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS
for good works, which GOD prepared beforehand that we should walk in
them." [Ephesians 2. 10] And, "we are HIS witnesses to these things,
and so also is the HOLY SPIRIT WHOM GOD has given to those who obey
HIM." [Acts 5. 32] It is such a privilege and honor to serve such a
WONDERFUL MASTER, there is no greater love.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
YOU, O LORD, shall reign, YOU alone over all YOUR works on Mount Zion,
the dwelling place of YOUR glory, and in Jerusalem, YOUR Holy City —
as it is written in YOUR HOLY WORD —The LORD shall reign for ever,
YOUR GOD, O Zion, unto all generations. HalleluYAH!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Post  Admin Sun 24 Jul 2011, 5:11 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
We have freedom of will to determine the shape of tomorrow by what we do
today. [Sidney Greenberg]

KINGDOM CHARACTERISTICS
"YOUR Kingdom come. YOUR will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
[Luke 11. 2]

The Kingdom Established and the saints reign with MESSIAH: "And I saw
thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then
I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to
JESUS and for the WORD OF GOD, who had not worshiped the beast or his
image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their
hands. And they lived and reigned with MESSIAH for a thousand years. But
the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were
finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has
part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power,
but they shall be priests of GOD and of CHRIST, and shall reign with HIM
a thousand years." [Revelation 20. 4 - 6]

There is a multitude from the Great Tribulation: "After these things I
looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all
nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the Throne and
before the LAMB, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their
hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying — Salvation belongs
to our GOD WHO sits on the Throne, and to the LAMB! — All the angels
stood around the Throne and the elders and the four Living Creatures,
and fell on their faces before the Throne and worshiped GOD, saying
— Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honour and
power and might, be to our GOD forever and ever. Amen. — Then one of
the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white
robes, and where did they come from?" And I said to him, "Sir, you
know." So he said to me —These are the ones who come out of the
Great Tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the
blood of the LAMB. Therefore they are before the Throne of GOD, and
serve HIM day and night in HIS Temple. And HE WHO sits on the Throne
will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst
anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the LAMB WHO
is in the midst of the Throne will shepherd them and lead them to Living
Fountains of waters. And GOD will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
[Revelation 7. 9 - 17]

At last, the prayer of MESSIAH YESHUA is fulfilled. It has always been
in GOD'S plans for mortals to enter the Thousand-Year- Reign of Peace to
complete HIS plan for mankind reigning from Jerusalem, "At that time
they (men) shall call Jerusalem "The Throne of the LORD" — and all
nations shall assemble there, in the NAME OF THE LORD, at Jerusalem."
[Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 3. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Righteousness (virtue, honor, decency, etc.) will reign: "The Kingship
and dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under Heaven, will be
given to the people, the saints of the MOST HIGH. HIS Kingdom is an
Everlasting Kingdom and all dominions shall serve and obey HIM." [Daniel
(Danyel) 7. 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "A Throne will be established in
mercy; in truth ONE shall sit on it in the Tabernacle of David, ONE WHO
judges and seeks justice and is zealous to exercise righteousness. "
[Isaiah (Yeshayah) 16. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "See, a time is coming —
declares the LORD — when I will raise up to David the RIGHTEOUSNESS
BRANCH. HE shall reign as KING and shall prosper, and HE shall execute
judgment and righteousness in the earth. In HIS days Judah will be
delivered and Israel will dwell secure. This is HIS NAME by which HE
shall be called: YEHOWAH TSIDQENUW (THE LORD OUR
RIGHTEOUSNESS/ VINDICATOR {the RIGHTEOUSNESS of us})." [Jeremiah
(Yirmeyah) 23. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "I will restore your judges as of
old, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be
called City of Righteousness, the Faithful City. Zion shall be redeemed
with justice; her repentant ones with righteousness. " [Isaiah (Yeshayah)
1. 26 - 27 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There will be a River of Healing: "Then he brought me back to the door
of the Temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of
the Temple...I saw very many trees on both banks of the river. "This
water" — he told me — "runs out to the eastern region and flows
into the eastern region, goes down into the Arabah, and when it comes
into the Sea, into the (Dead) Sea, its waters are healed. Every living
creature that swims, wherever the rivers go, will live. The fish will be
a very abundant once these waters have reached there; for they will be
healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes. Fishermen will
stand by it all the way from En-Gedi to En-Eglaim; it shall be a place
for drying their nets. The fish will be like the various kinds of fish
of the Great Sea (Mediterranean) , exceedingly many. But its swamps and
marshes will not be healed; they will serve to supply salt. All kinds of
trees for food will grow on both banks of the river; their leaves will
not wither nor their fruit fail; they will yield new fruit every month,
because the water for them flows from the Temple. Their fruit will be
for food, and their leaves for healing." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 47. 1, 7
- 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There will be Universal Peace: "The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, the
leopard lie down with the kid, the calf and the young lion and the
fatling shall feed together; and a little child shall lead them. The cow
and the bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together; and the
lion, like the ox, shall eat straw. The babe shall play by the viper
hole, and the infant shall put his hand in the adder's den. They shall
not hurt nor destroy in all MY Holy Mountain, for the earth shall be
filled with devotion to the LORD as waters cover the sea." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 11. 6 - 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"HE (THE LORD OF THE UNIVERSE) will judge between the nations, and
settle disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into
plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: Nation shall not take
up sword against nation, they shall never again know war." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 2. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There are great riches awaiting the over-comer. [see Revelation 2.7,
11, 17, 26 - 27; 3.5, 12, 21; 21.7] So, today, if you will hear voice of
the LORD JESUS, do not harden your hearts in rebellion.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Shabbat, may our lips ever declare praises to our
KING, HELPER, SAVIOR & SHIELD for HIS loving kindness is mighty over us.
Have a good week — continue serving the BELOVED MASTER with a lev
tahor (clean heart) and consider your latter end! May GOD hold you in
the palm of HIS hand and watch over you each day, HE is faithful!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Learn from the mistakes of others. . . you won't live long enough to
make them all yourself.

BE STRONG
"Let not this BOOK OF TEACHING cease from your lips, but meditate and
recite it day and night, so that you may observe faithfully all that is
written in it. Only then you will prosper in your undertakings and only
then will you be successful." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 1. 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Joshua received direct commands from the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD: "Moses MY
servant is dead. Prepare to cross the Jordan, together with all this
people, into the land that I am giving to the Israelites. Every spot on
which your foot treads I give to you, as I promised Moses." [Joshua
(Yehoshua) 1. 2 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Joshua's tasks would be impossible without the guidance of THE MASTER
COMFORTER, the SPIRIT OF GOD. Thus, the OMNIPOTENT ONE spoke words of
bold encouragement to him, "BE STRONG AND OF GOOD COURAGE, for you shall
apportion to this people the land which I swore to their fathers to give
them. But you must be strong and very courageous to observe faithfully
all the TEACHING that MY servant Moses enjoined upon you. Do not deviate
from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever
you go. I charge you: Be strong and of good courage; do not be terrified
or dismayed, for the LORD your GOD is with you wherever you go." [Joshua
(Yehoshua) 1. 6 - 7, 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The LORD GOD ETERNAL encouraged Joshua further in saying to "not be
afraid, nor be dismayed" and to "observe to do all the Law." Complete
obedience to the Law of GOD is imperative (required, crucial, essential,
must)! One must obey for a prosperous result. The Apostle Paul
understood this also and encouraged his brethren — "BE STRONG in the
LORD and in the power of HIS might." [Ephesians 6. 10]

The steadfast PERSONAL PRESENCE of the KING OF GLORY is the greatest of
all riches and HE promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
[Hebrews 13. 5] How very rich we are and greatly blessed with all the
spiritual blessings in heavenly places in MESSIAH YESHUA! May the LORD
your GOD be ever with you!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Good Sabbath — Come, let us go out to meet the Sabbath Queen, the
Bride of the week…Sabbath, eagerly awaited and joyously welcomed!
I greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul exults in my GOD. For HE clothed
me with garments of salvation, wrapped me in a robe of righteousness;
thus shouts of victory and praise spring forth in HIS PRESENCE. I love
YOU, LORD and I lift my voice to worship YOU.
MOST HOLY LORD, continue to impart YOUR blessing upon us. Teach us to
seek YOU evermore within the sanctuary of our souls, within the
tabernacle of YOUR world, and in the congregation of YOUR worshipers."
The grace of our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH be with you this Sabbath and
always.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Fri 22 Jul 2011, 12:54 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When you are driven to your knees, you can have overwhelming confidence
that there is no better place to go.

CHERUBIYM OF GOLD
"[You shall make a Mercy-Seat of pure gold] ...Make two cherubiym of
gold - make them of hammered work — at the two ends of the
Mercy-Seat. Make one cherub at one end and the other cherub at the other
end; of one piece with the Mercy-Seat shall you make the cherubiym at
its two ends. The cherubiym shall have their wings spread out above,
shielding the cover with their wings. They shall confront each other,
the faces of the cherubim being turned toward the Mercy-Seat." [Exodus
(Shemot) 25. 18 - 19 Tanakh, Torah]

The two cherubiym were to be as one with the Mercy-Seat. They typify
the glorified believers who are one with YESHUA ha'MASHIACH. These
symbols of redeemed humanity are now reality as seen by the innumerable
company of Adam's race, from whom the curse has been removed [Revelation
22. 3], and who take their places about the Throne of GOD and of the
LAMB, act as HIS servants there, behold HIS face and have HIS NAME on
their foreheads. [Revelation 22. 4]

Two is the number suggesting union and agreement. The redeemed are in
union with MESSIAH. The cherubim are the most exalted beings of the
heavenly hosts, occupying the nearest position to the Throne of GOD.
What an honour! We have been brought to the very Throne of GOD and
given a seat with HIM. We have been made of one piece with the
Mercy-Seat, heirs of GOD and joint-heirs with JESUS, partakers of the
DIVINE nature, sons of GOD MOST HIGH! We rest in the finished work of
Calvary and are "seated with CHRIST in the heavenlies!"

The "hammered work" prophesies of the sufferings of MESSIAH WHO was
"beaten" to become our ATONEMENT for sin, our MERCY-SEAT. We are one
with HIM; if we suffer with HIM, we shall also reign with HIM. [2
Timothy 2. 12]

Though it was a Mercy-Seat, no one could sit on it. Sitting would imply
that the priest's work was finished and this was impossible. He
continually was standing, offering sacrifices. There is only one HIGH
PRIEST WHO sat down because HIS ministry was finished: "Every priest
stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices,
which can never take away sins. But this MAN (PRIEST would be more
accurate here), after HE had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat
down at the right hand of GOD." [Hebrews 10. 11 - 12] Once before the
LORD YESHUA "sat down" after HE had read the prophecy concerning HIMSELF
and HIS work [Luke 4. 20] implying that HE would finish or fulfill the
OLD COVENANT. ["It is finished!" — John 19. 30 w/Hebrews 1. 3]

The cherubiym were not to look upon one another, nor look under the
cover at the law man failed to keep, nor eastward toward the people who
were sinners. ALMIGHTY GOD commanded that their faces should be toward
the Mercy-Seat. . .for upon this Sacred Cover was the blood of the
sacrifice which was priceless. The reason for this "kapporeth
(covering)" was the blood of atonement that it held. Here was the means
of atonement for Israel. Here forgiveness and pardon was offered up
for them. It was by this means that a way of access to the LOVING
CREATOR was made on their behalf. It was the "precious blood" in which
the cherubiym were interested as their faces looked toward the
Mercy-Seat. "You were not redeemed with corruptible things, like
silver or gold...but with the precious blood of CHRIST, the SPOTLESS
LAMB." [1 Peter 1. 18 - 19]

Ceaselessly throughout eternity we will behold the Blood of Atonement
remembering it was the work of the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA on the rugged
cross which gives us the high privilege and honour to be ONE WITH HIM in
glory!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Our AWESOME CREATOR GOD is worthy of all our praise and worship, even in
difficult times.
Stay alert for such a time as this. . . keep watching and praying.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Anything worth saying is worth repeating 1,000 times.

RAHAB & THE TWO SPIES
"Joshua son of Nun secretly sent two spies from Shittim saying — Go,
view the land, especially Jericho. So they set out, and they came to the
house of a harlot named Rahab, and lodged there." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 2.
1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Before attacking the city of Jericho, Joshua the son of Nun sent two
spies in to search out the land. Some assume that two were sent because
when Moses had sent in twelve men to search out the land forty years
earlier, only two were faithful. The result was the nation of
Israelites were condemned to the wilderness wanderings.
[Numbers/B'Midvar 13 - 14]

It seems, however, that the only accomplishment the two spies succeeded
in was in the saving of Rahab and her household. "The city and
everything in it are doomed by the LORD to destruction; only Rahab the
harlot is to be spared, and all who are with her in the house, because
she hid the messengers we sent." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 6. 17 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

The two spies in the time of Joshua are similar form of evidence, guide,
or illustration to the two witnesses that precede the tribulations of
Revelation 11. "And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they
will prophesy one-thousand- two-hundred- sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.
These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the
GOD of the earth." [Revelation 11. 3 - 4]

By faith, Rahab the harlot acted on what she believed and was therefore
justified by her works when she received the messengers and sent them
out another way. "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith
without works is dead also." [James 2. 26] Likewise, those who are
found faithful and are watching for the LORD'S return — will also Go
Out of this earth another way. Be ready and watching, HIS coming is
near!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Evening, morning and noon, YOU, O LORD are all-good, YOUR mercies fail
not; YOUR loving kindnesses never cease, all our hope is in YOU. For all
these things, YOUR NAME, O our KING, shall be continually blessed and
exalted for ever and ever.
Barukh atah ADONAI ELOHEINU MELEKH ha-olam, ozier Yisrael bigvurah.
— Blessed are YOU, LORD our GOD, KING of the universe, WHO girds
Israel with might.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, receives the
impossible! [Corrie ten Boom]

ENOUGH!
"Then Israel said, "It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will
go and see him before I die." [Genesis (Bereshith) 45. 28 Tanakh, Torah]

"It is enough!" is an exclamation of a thing or situation being
satisfied, or a need has been fulfilled, or a limit has been reached.
This phrase occurs both in the OLD COVENANT (Hebrew: rab) and three
times in the NEW COVENANT using different Greek terms (arketos –
suffice, apechei – enough, hikanos – ample).

In the opening text, Jacob is overcome with thankful emotion at the news
that Joseph, his beloved son was still alive, though considered dead for
many years. Then the Pharaoh, for a very different reason, cried
"Entreat (Hebrew: `athar – intercede, mediate, negotiate) the
LORD that there may be no more mighty thundering and hail, for it is
enough." [Exodus (Shemot) 9. 28 Tanakh, Torah]

When David sinned against the LORD by numbering the people, the LORD
sent a plague upon Israel from morning till the appointed time and
seventy thousand men of Israel died. And when the ANGEL stretched out
HIS hand over Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD relented from the
destruction and said to the ANGEL who was destroying the people —
"It is enough — now restrain your hand." [2 Samuel/Shemuel Bet) 24.
16; 1 Chronicles/Shemuel Bet 21. 15]

Then there was Elijah who thought he could bear no more being exhausted
and weary of Ahab and his wife, Jezebel trying to kill him, journeyed
into the wilderness and set down under a broom tree and prayed that he
might die, proclaiming, "It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I am
no better than my fathers!" [1 Kings (Malek Alef) 19. 4 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

On the other hand, Proverbs tell of things that are never satisfied:
"The leech has two daughters —"Give!" and "Give!" Three things are
insatiable; Four never say, "Enough!" — The grave, the barren womb,
earth that cannot get enough water — and fire never says, "Enough!"
[Proverbs (Mishle) 30. 15 - 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In the NEW COVENANT, MESSIAH YESHUA counseled HIS followers that because
of HIM they would be hated, persecuted or even be put to death because
"A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It
is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like
his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how
much more will they call those of his household!" [Matthew 10. 21 - 25]
When nearing the time of HIS arrest, the MAN OF SORROWS, said to HIS
sleeping disciples, "It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the SON OF
MAN is being betrayed into the hands of sinners." [Mark 14. 41]

Earlier, when the MESSIAH sent the disciples out HE advised them to
supply their own needs and sell their garments to get a sword if they
didn't have one. They replied that they had two swords amongst them
and YESHUA replied, "It is enough." [Luke 22. 36 - 38] Obviously
implying that their mission was to spread the GOOD NEWS, not fight for
the MASTER.

There are many different circumstances which can lead one to cry:
"Enough!" But, "in the ages to come" there will never be an end to "the
exceeding riches of HIS grace in HIS kindness toward us in MESSIAH
YESHUA. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of GOD, not of works, lest anyone should
boast." [Ephesians 2. 7 - 9] We can never get enough of our WONDERFUL,
HOLY, AWESOME LORD GOD; how remarkably rich we are!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Welcome Sabbath! We thank YOU, Great & MIGHTY GOD for by YOUR grace we
were taught the blessed holiness of the weekly day of rest; and Sabbath
is the sign of the tie that binds us to YOU. Keep us ever grateful and
grant us YOUR perfect rest, Amen. Open your hearts in song as the sunset
swells into a rhythm of changing colors. O taste and see that the LORD
is good to those who trust in HIM and wait for HIM; to the one who seeks
HIM with all their heart, HE will be found by them.
Our beloved and delightful brethren, our joy and crown, we encourage
you to stand firm, persevere in service to the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, HE
will make it worth it all in HIS perfect time. We are reminded that
justice is our duty and a better world our goal.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"Beware of him who gives advise according to his own interests."
[TALMUD, Sanhedrin 76a]

WINEPRESS & JUDGMENT SEAT
"Therefore we make it our aimÂ…to be well pleasing to HIM. For we
must all appear before the Judgment Seat of CHRIST, that each one may
receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done,
whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the LORD, we
persuade men; but we are well known to GOD, and I also trust are well
known in your consciences. " [2 Corinthians 5. 9 - 11]

At the appointed time, the LORD JESUS will be seated on the Throne of
HIS Glory, the first order of HIS dominion will be to purge the earth of
all that offends GOD fulfilling Malachi: "Then you shall see the
difference between the righteous and the wicked, between one who served
ELOHIYM and one who has not served HIM." [Malachi (Malakhi) 3. 18
Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The SON OF MAN will send out HIS angels, and they
will gather out of HIS Kingdom all things that offend, and those who
practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the Furnace of Fire. There
will be wailing and gnashing of teeth." [Matthew 13. 41 - 43]

The difference between the righteous and the wicked is visibly
discernable for all is written in the Book of Remembrance. The time of
grace is now ended and the time of accountability has come. "When the
SON OF MAN comes in HIS glory, and all the holy angels with HIM, then HE
will sit on the throne of HIS glory. All the nations (all nations, which
includes both Jew and Gentile) will be gathered before HIM, and HE will
separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the
goats. And HE will set the sheep on HIS right hand, but the goats on
the left. Then the KING will say to those on HIS right hand — Come,
you blessed of MY FATHER, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world... — Then HE will also say to those on the
left hand — Depart from ME, you cursed, into the everlasting fire
prepared for the devil and his angels." [Matthew 25. 31 – 34; and
chapters 31 – 46]

At last, all enemies of the MOST HOLY LORD GOD will be under HIS feet,
the earth is purged from evil. The Battle of Armageddon was not only to
exercise the Wrath of GOD against the armies of the Antichrist and
enemies of GOD and holiness, but it includes the defense and rescue of
HIS people, Israel, and the City of Jerusalem. "The hand of the LORD
shall be known to HIS servants, and HIS righteous anger to HIS enemies.
For behold, the LORD is coming with fire — HIS chariots are like a
whirlwind — to render HIS anger with fury, HIS rebuke in flaming
fire. For with fire and by HIS sword the LORD will judge all flesh; and
many shall be the slain of the LORD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 66. 14 - 16
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The Antichrist, who has taken the kingdom of the whole earth, will meet
his doom when he faces the LORD at the Battle of Armageddon, the
destruction not by human hands. There will be no power on earth among
men that can stand against him, so the world will know the POWER OF GOD.
"And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have
become completely wicked, a KING shall arise, having a fierce
appearance, who understands dark sentences (dark sayings - a master of
intrigue). His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power."
[Revelation 13. 2] "He will be impudent and versed in intrigue and have
great strength, but not through his own strength. He will be
extraordinarily destructive; and shall prosper and succeed in whatever
he does, and destroy the mighty and the holy people. By his cunning, he
will use deceit successfully. He will magnify himself in his heart.
Speaking peace, he shall destroy many when they feel secure. He shall
also rise up against the PRINCE of Princes, but he will be broken but
not by [human] hands." [Daniel (Danyel) 8. 23 – 25 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

It is written of Satan, embodied in the Antichrist, "Then the court will
be seated and his (Satan) dominion shall be taken away, to be destroyed
and abolished forever." [Daniel (Danyel) 7. 26 Tanakh, Kethuvim] This
concludes the dominion of the Antichrist, where his kingdom is forever
destroyed. There will be no more rebellion until the end when Satan is
released the last time to call the last mortals to make a decision for
or against the MOST HOLY LORD GOD.

Who can survive "The Day" of the severe purge that takes place at the
Judgment Seat of CHRIST? Who will survive The Day of HIS coming? The
LORD YESHUA is coming for judgment like a refiner's fire and a fuller's
soap, HE will be a SWIFT WITNESS against the wicked. "I will come near
you for judgment; I will be a RELENTLESS ACCUSER against those who have
no fear of ME: Sorcerers, adulterers, liars, hose who cheat laborers of
their hire, and who subvert [the cause] of widows, orphans, and deprive
justice to aliens — says the YEHOWAH OF HOSTS." [Malachi (Malakhi)
3. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im; see 1-5]

Forgiveness is based on repentance, with the precious blood of the
INNOCENT ONE covering the sin of the guilty. This is the theme of HOLY
SCRIPTURE from cover to cover. However, when the time comes to purge
the earth, the time of repentance is past. It will be too late to avail
yourself of the grace and mercy the COMPASSIONATE ONE, blessed be HE,
offered through YESHUA. Consider your eternal destiny and make your
decision now to take advantage of GOD'S provision while it is still
available. O to be found faithful!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
O LORD GOD, send forth YOUR Light and YOUR Truth to those who grope in
darkness, and the knowledge of YOU to those who follow after strange
gods; and may YOUR House be called "THE HOUSE OF PRAYER" for all people.
Grant that wherever a heart sighs in anguish under the burden of guilt,
wherever a soul yearns to return to YOU, it may feel the effect of YOUR
pardoning love and mercy, Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Tue 19 Jul 2011, 4:54 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"Zeal without knowledge is fire without light." [-Thomas Fuller] In
other words — The greater you are, the more you must humble
yourself.

THE WICKED PROSPER
"Why do the wicked live on, yes, prosper and grow wealthy?" [Job (Iyob)
21. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This often asked question has puzzled the thoughts of men in every age.
Persecuted Job had prospered both materially and spiritually, yet he
lost all his worldly possessions, as well as family and friends. The
ungodly scorners of the region where he had lived were now humiliating
and mocking him, yet they continued to prosper. But why is this?

The same troublesome question occurs again and again in the HOLY BIBLE.
Asaph, a psalmist, confessed: "I envied the wanton and boastful; I saw
the wicked prosper and were at ease. Death has no pangs for them; their
body is healthy and strong, they have no part in the travail of men;
they are not afflicted like the rest of mankind." [Psalms (Tehillym) 73.
3 - 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Jeremiah, the weeping prophet also complained:
"Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are the workers of
treachery at ease?" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 12. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Asaph
and Jeremiah were both perplexed at the prosperity and comfort of the
wicked until they entered GOD'S Sanctuary and reflected on their fate.
[Psalms/Tehillym 73. 17]

And today, there are very few genuine believers who have great wealth or
are powerful that are walking humble and righteous before the LORD GOD.
There is serious spiritual danger inherent in riches and power, unless
these privileges are dedicated deliberately and sincerely to the work of
the ALL-WISE MASTER DESIGNER. Even the church at Laodicea, was
scornfully rebuked by the GLORIFIED LORD YESHUA — "Because you say
—I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing— and
do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked."
[Revelation 3. 17] They were cunning, deceitful and loved to oppress.
Thinking to themselves that they had become rich in finding wealth for
themselves by all their labors and thought that no one, even GOD the
ALMIGHTY ONE, could find iniquity in them. Truly, their minds were
dulled, darkened, duped, deluded, deceived and deadened.

GOD OMNIPOTENT has promised to supply all our need if we are faithful to
HIM. [Matthew 6. 33; Philippians 4. 19] We need to weigh all our
standards of prosperity on the balances of eternity. "I saw the
wicked, powerful, and well-rooted like a healthy native tree. Suddenly
he vanished and was gone; I sought him, but he was not to be found. Mark
the blameless, note the upright; for there is a future for the man of
integrity. But transgressors shall be utterly destroyed, the future of
the wicked shall be cut off. The deliverance of the righteous comes from
the LORD; their stronghold in time of trouble. The LORD helps them and
rescues them; delivers them from the wicked and saves them, for they
seek refuge in HIM and trust in HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 37. 35 - 40
Tanakh, Kethuvim] Our greatest need is a closer fellowship with the
MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE. JESUS is earnestly calling and anxiously
waiting for you!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
This evening begins a day of fast (17 Tammuz/July 18, 2011 - sundown to
sundown), remembering the walls of Jerusalem being breached.
Toward YOU alone, SOVEREIGN LORD GOD, is my desire, and all my thoughts
are turned to YOU. My mind and my heart cling to YOU and thank and
praise YOU for YOUR many gifts of grace. Therefore, with trembling
reverence I place my body and soul, my spiritual life on the flaming
altar of devotion, as an offering to YOU, the ONLY ONE WHO'S supreme
greatness no mind can conceive or be sufficiently grateful. There is
peace, rest and unending happiness in the wonderful light of YOUR
PRESENCE. Thank YOU, for being my REFUGE. Blessing and glory and wisdom,
thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to the LORD our GOD
forever and ever, Amen & Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 25 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Mon 18 Jul 2011, 3:29 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Man should bless the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY in times of trouble, even as he
blesses GOD in times of the good.

HEAVENLY WISDOM
"As it is written — Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have
entered into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for
those who love HIM. BUT GOD HAS REVEALED THEM TO US THROUGH HIS SPIRIT.
For the SPIRIT searches all things, yes, the deep (Hebrew: 'amoq --
mysterious, unsearchable) things of GOD." [1 Corinthians 2. 9 - 10]

The first part of this text is often quoted. . . then people go on to
say that "the wonders of GOD cannot be known, fathomed or imagined."
However, if they would only continue reading, the very next verse states
that HOLY GOD does reveal it to those who know HIM, as it is HIS wish
that we know and understand.

"It is the glory of GOD to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is
to explore a matter." [Proverbs (Mishle) 25. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
"Concealed secret acts concern the LORD our GOD; but obvious things
which are revealed is for us and our children ever to apply all the
provisions of this TEACHING." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 29. 29 Tanakh,
Torah] "Such things had never been heard or noted; no eye has seen
then, O GOD, but YOU WHO acts for those who trust in HIM." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 64. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "For behold! I am creating a new
heaven and a new earth; the former things shall not be remembered, they
shall never come to mind." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Our SOVEREIGN LOVING ALMIGHTY GOD doesn't do anything unless it is first
revealed to the prophets. "But now the righteousness of GOD apart from
the Law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets [Romans
3. 21] which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it
has now been revealed by the SPIRIT to HIS holy apostles and prophets."
[Ephesians 3. 5]

"For in it (the power of the GOSPEL) the righteousness of GOD is
revealed from faith to faith; as it is written — The just shall live
by faith." [Romans 1. 17] "The LORD has manifested HIS salvation; has
displayed HIS righteousness and triumph in the sight of the nations."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 98. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"The PRESENCE of the glory of the LORD shall appear, and all flesh, as
one, shall behold — for the LORD HIMSELF has spoken." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 40. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "JESUS said — I thank YOU,
FATHER, LORD OF HEAVEN & EARTH, that YOU have hidden these things from
the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes." [Matthew 11. 25;
Luke 11. 25; 10. 21] "The mystery which has been hidden from ages and
from generations, but now has been revealed to HIS saints." [Colossians
1. 26]

By HIS mighty hand and outstretched arm, the PRINCE OF PEACE delivered
you that you might know the HOLY & TRUE ONE personally; there is none
other besides HIM. HE yearns that we hear HIS voice, that HE might
instruct us. Truly the hearts cry of the MASTER OF MERCY to HIS people
is, "O that they might know ME."

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
DEAR BLESSED SAVIOUR, I dare not start the day without first communing
in prayer with YOU. Thanking YOU for this new day of promise to do some
good deed for others. Strengthen me to lend a hand where needed; to
teach others how to be brave and forgiving; forbid that I should ever
judge another or hold a grudge or prove myself shallow or vain, or
through some thoughtless act, cause pain or shame YOUR HOLY NAME. Keep
me humble, kind and sincere; drive from my heart all doubt and fear.
And, should joy or sorrow come, grant me wisdom, LORD, to see and
understand that it is from YOUR hand and that YOUR great love abides
still lest I forget to seek YOUR face. Remind me often that I am weak,
walk close beside me all the way. This is my prayer, my petition today
and forever. Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.
