A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
He who has no fire in himself cannot warm others.
MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS
Although no one knows exactly the date of YESHUA'S birth, we can be
certain that there must first be a conception before a birth. When
ALMIGHTY INFINITE GOD promises that the "almah (engaged virgin)" shall
conceive and bear a CHILD (in connection with the very first promise of
a coming REDEEMER - the woman's SEED), HE is referring to a MIRACLE.
It is not the BIRTH of Messiah, GOD'S ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, but HIS
CONCEPTION that is the MIRACLE.
"I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and
hers; HE shall crush your head, and you shall strike HIS heel." [Genesis
(Bereshith) 3. 15 Tanakh, Torah] This text is the first of three direct
references to the "miracle conception" of MESSIAH YESHUA in the TANAKH
(OLD COVENANT) which states that the REDEEMER would be "her SEED." No
woman has seed. . . it is only the man who has seed ("the seed of
Abraham").
The next promise of the miracle conception tells of the ETERNAL ONE
giving A SIGN (Hebrew: 'owth), a miracle or a proof that will come to
Israel. This miracle is that the virgin, without the aid of a man,
shall conceive and bear a CHILD. "Assuredly, my LORD will give you a
sign of HIS OWN accord! Look, a virgin is with CHILD and about to give
birth to a SON, and shall call HIS NAME IMMANU'EL." [Isaiah (Yeshayah)
7. 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Then we read of the miracle the LORD HIMSELF
will perform: "For the LORD has created something new on earth - a woman
shall encompass a MIGHTY MAN." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 31. 22 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]
The Hebrew word for compass is "savav" meaning "to go about, to
encompass, to alter, change, surround, enclose." However, in this
verse, the word is "encompass (Hebrew: tesovav)" which makes the tense
future. Therefore, the Prophet Jeremiah was really saying that the LORD,
in the future, will create a new thing in the land (earth) -- never done
before (and it is the LORD only WHO creates). Jeremiah was implying
that the OMNIPOTENT MASTER CREATOR will cause a woman to alter the
natural course of generation by "conceiving SEED" without the man and
that she will bear a MAN (Hebrew: geber) a "MIGHTY MAN" [Isaiah/Yeshayah
9. 6 -- "HIS NAME will be called THE MIGHTY GOD"], a WARRIOR, a VALIANT
MAN WHO is the LORD & SAVIOUR, Yeshua ha'Mashiach!
"Now the birth of MESSIAH YESHUA was as follows: After HIS mother Miryam
(Mary) was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found
with CHILD of the HOLY SPIRIT." [Matthew 1. 18] Before this verse, it
is recorded that the MAN begot. . . but now the wording changes; birth,
beginning, to beget refers to the conception. Then, we read that
OMNIPOTENT GOD CREATED the SEED which was miraculously planted in her
womb, "for that which is conceived in her is of the HOLY SPIRIT."
[Matthew 1. 20] With GOD, the HIGH & LOFTY OMNIPOTENT CREATOR, all
things are possible! How wonderful and profound are the treasures our
wonderful LOVING LORD GOD has in store for those who serve HIM!
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Oh come, let us adore HIM, the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH! Our prayer is
that you have a joyous Christmas Season! May the LIVING ETERNAL GOD,
blessed be HE, keep you ever so close in the palm of HIS mighty hand and
watch over you. Walk joyously in the light and warmth of ALMIGHTY GOD'S
love; and may the HOLY ONE, the HOPE OF ISRAEL, fill you with peace and
happiness.
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Love goes beyond logic…and prevails.
SPIRIT-SOUL- BODY
"The LORD GOD (YEHOWAH ELOHIYM) formed man ('adam) from the dust of
the earth ('adamah). HE blew into his nostrils the breath of life,
and man became a living being." [Genesis (Bereshith) 2. 7 Tanakh, Torah]
The Hebrew word for soul is "nephesh" meaning "a living creature." It
comes from the primary root "naphash" which means "to breathe." In
traditional Jewish understanding, the soul is considered to be a
"heavenly spark housed in an earthly container." It is the "candle of
the Lord" -- "The light of the candle flickers and waves in harmony with
the LIGHT OF TORAH." [Proverbs (Mishle) 20. 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Thus
giving sufficient understand for the Jewish custom of "bobbing or waving
of the body" in prayer.
"Nephesh" appears over 755 times in HEBREW SCRIPTURE and over 100 of
these make reference in the first person, "my soul or naphesh." In the
NEW COVENANT, there is explicit distinguishing between the soul, the
spirit and the body. "Now may the GOD OF PEACE HIMSELF sanctify you
completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved
blameless at the coming of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. HE WHO calls you is
faithful, who also will do it." [1 Thessalonians 5. 23] GOD OMNIPOTENT
created man in HIS OWN IMAGE, therefore man is triune in nature. Each
of us, being only one person, have three parts: spirit, soul and body.
The innermost part of a person is the spirit. The spirit (Hebrew:
ruwach - breath) is set within the soul (Hebrew: nephesh – seat or
organ of mental acts) and the soul is set within the body (Hebrew:
geviyah/body or basar/flesh) . The spirit is the very core of a person;
it is the part that is made in GOD'S IMAGE. Our capacity to commune
with OMNISCIENT GOD is found in our spirit, the seat of our
GOD-consciousness; the soul is our self-consciousness; the body is our
world-consciousness . GOD dwells in our spirit; our self dwells in the
soul; and senses in the body.
When Adam sinned, all men suffered the consequences. The spirit of man
became dead toward GOD, communication broken, separated from the GIVER
OF LIFE. Because of sin, the GREAT & HOLY GOD OF HEAVEN does not dwell
in every person's spirit. However, when we receive Yeshua
ha'MASHIACH, our spirit is quickened, made alive. That is why the
phrase "born anew" or "born again" is used. We were dead in trespasses
and sin [Ephesians 2.1] until we met THE ONE WHO is THE LIFE, we were a
"Living Soul (Hebrew: nephesh chayya)" with a dead spirit. MESSIAH
YESHUA, is the SON OF MAN, WHO has come "to seek and to save that which
was lost" -- Lost Souls. [Luke 19. 10] Now, we are alive to GOD in
YESHUA ha'MASHIACH our LORD.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
The ultimate measure of a man is not how he stands in moments of
comfort, but how he stands in times of a challenge.
Zey ha'yom asaw ADONAI, nagilah ve-neesmechah voh . . . This is the
day the LORD has made, we will rejoice and we will be glad in it!
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Envy is its own torment, it devours its bearer.
REFUSING TO HEAR
"So will I choose their delusions to mock them, to bring on them the
very thing they dread. For I called and none responded, I spoke and none
paid heed. Before MY eyes, they did what I deem evil and chose what I do
not want." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 66. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Therefore I will
destine you for the sword, you will all kneel down to be slaughtered -
because, when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you would not
listen. You did what I deemed evil and chose that in which I do not
delight." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
When we are disobedient to the LOVING MASTER, there are always
consequences and HE is the PRAISEWORTHY & RIGHTEOUS JUDGE WHO has
already warned us of the severe punishment for those who refuse HIS
atonement. And this RIGHTEOUS, HOLY GOD cannot be bought with our much
speech or sacrifices. Though Cain and Abel brought offerings and both
were works of their hands, only Abel's was acceptable. Abel's was done
in obedience to GOD'S WORD, blood was shed. Cain was without excuse
for although he knew GOD, he did not glorify HIM as SOVEREIGN LORD OF
THE UNIVERSE. The ALMIGHTY ONE said to Cain -- "IF you do right, you
will be accepted. But if you do not do right, sin couches at the door;
its desire is for you, yet you must be its master." [Genesis (Bereshith)
4. 7 Tanakh, Torah] The HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL "knows deceitful men; HE
also discerns iniquity." [Job (Iyob) 11. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Obedience, the TRUTHFUL ONE accepts and demands. Even the widows mite
was considered a great treasure in the eyes of the LORD JESUS, "Truly I
say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for all these
out of their abundance have put in offerings for GOD, but she out of her
poverty put in all the livelihood that she had." [Luke 21. 3 - 4]
"How long will you simple ones love simplicity, you scorners delight in
scorning, and fools hate knowledge? You are indifferent to MY rebuke; I
will now speak MY mind to you and let you know MY thoughts. Since you
refused ME when I called, and paid no heed when I extended MY hand, you
spurned all MY advice, and would not hear MY rebuke, I will laugh at
your calamity, and mock when terror comes upon you, when terror comes
like disaster, and calamity arrives like a whirlwind, when trouble and
distress and anguish come upon you. Then they shall call ME but I will
not answer; they shall seek ME diligently, but not find ME. Because they
hated knowledge and did not choose fear of the LORD; they refused MY
counsel and disdained all MY rebukes. Therefore, they shall eat the
fruit of their ways, and have their fill of their own counsels. The
tranquility of the simple will kill them, and the contentment of
conceited fools will destroy them. But he who listens to ME will dwell
in safety, untroubled by the terror of evil." [Proverbs (Mishle) 1. 22 -
33 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
The LORD ETERNAL declares, "On this one will I look, on him who is poor
and brokenhearted and of a contrite spirit, and who is concerned about
MY WORD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 66. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] For the obedient,
righteous and faithful servants there is coming a great reward, for "a
BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE has been written at HIS order concerning those who
fear the LORD and esteem HIS NAME. 'On the day that I am preparing' -
says the LORD OF HOSTS - 'they shall be MY treasured possession, I will
be tender toward them as a man is tender toward a son who ministers to
him.'" [Malachi (Malakhi) 3. 16 - 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Whoever has
ears, let them hear.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
We bid farewell to Shabbat and continually give honour, glory, power &
praise to the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA for HE is our LIGHT & GREAT JOY.
Be sure to take some of Sabbath's sweetness with you for a blessed
day and a delightful week.
"Tov Shavua (Have a good week)!"

Thought FOR TODAY
A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Good teachers are mirrors as well as windows. . . they allow us to look
at ourselves and see the world.
CAUSE YOUR FACE TO SHINE
"The LORD bless you and protect you! The LORD make HIS face shine (deal
kindly) upon you and be gracious with you! The LORD bestow HIS favour
upon you and grant you peace (shalom)!" [Numbers (B'Midvar) 6. 24 - 27
Tanakh, Torah]
The first active form of the word "shine" is here in this well-known
blessing, the Aaronic Benediction for the children of Israel. True
light comes only from GOD THE CREATOR, since "GOD IS LIGHT." [1 John 1.
5] We must continually receive the SON shining in our hearts to
sustain our spiritual life, just as the world depends on the sunshine
for its physical existence.
This prayer of blessing appears seven other times in HOLY SCRIPTURE:
"Make YOUR face shine upon YOUR servant; as YOU are faithful, deliver
me." [Psalms (Tehillym) 31. 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "May GOD be gracious
to us and bless us, and cause HIS FACE to shine upon us. Selah" [Psalms
(Tehillym) 67. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "O LORD GOD OF HOSTS, restore us;
cause YOUR face to shine on us that we may be delivered." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 80. 19; 80. 3, 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Make YOUR face shine
upon YOUR servant, and teach me YOUR Laws." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 135
Tanakh, Kethuvim] "O our GOD, hear now the prayer of YOUR servant and
his plea and cause YOUR face to shine upon YOUR desolate sanctuary, for
the LORD'S sake." [Daniel (Danyel) 9. 17 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Since HOLY OMNIPOTENCE GOD of all flesh dwells "in the unapproachable
light" [1 Timothy 6. 16], HE shines on us for salvation, spiritual
knowledge, and daily teachings and instructions through HIS
ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, WHO is "THE LIVING WORD" made
FLESH. "In HIM was life, and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men." [John 1.
4] "For it is GOD WHO commanded light to shine out of darkness WHO has
shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of
GOD in the face of JESUS THE CHRIST." [2 Corinthians 4. 6] To HIM
alone be honour, praise, glory, dominion and everlasting power forever
and ever. Amen!
Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
O GOD, keep my tongue from evil and my lips from speaking guile. Be my
SUPPORT when grief silences my voice, and my COMFORT when woe bends my
spirit. Plant humility in my soul, and strengthen my heart with perfect
faith in YOU. Help me to be strong in trials and temptations and to be
humble always before YOU, my STRONG-TOWER. Guide me by the PURE LIGHT of
YOUR counsel, and let me ever find rest in YOU, my ROCK and my REDEEMER.
Praised be the LORD GOD ETERNAL to WHOM all praise is due for ever and
ever. Amen
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The moments we do not spend are not saved.
ETERNAL WORD
"I will continuously obey YOUR Law, forever and ever." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 119. 44 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Psalm 119 is the GREAT SERENADE OF THE WORD for in it are seven decreed
declarations that "the WORD is forever!" GOD'S Law is everlasting, and
we will keep it eternally. "The LORD exists forever; YOUR WORD stands
firm in heaven." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 89 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The HOLY
WRITTEN WORD of the ALMIGHTY KING OF GLORY will never change; it was
waiting to be revealed in HIS time before the creation of the world.
It was there and forever will be.
"YOUR decrees are my eternal heritage; they are my heart's delight...I
am determined to follow YOUR Laws to the utmost forever...YOUR righteous
decrees are eternal; give me understanding, that I might live...I know
from YOUR decrees of old that YOU have established them forever...Truth
is the essence of YOUR WORD; YOUR just rules are eternal." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 119. 111, 112, 144, 152, 160 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
The NEW COVENANT has similar promises at the time the LORD JESUS said,
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but MY WORD will no means pass away."
[Matthew 24. 35] Peter, quoting the Prophet Isaiah wrote: "The WORD
of the LORD endures forever." [1 Peter 1. 25; Isaiah/Yeshayah 40. 8]
Read the PRECIOUS WORD of OMNIPOTENT GOD slowly, deliberately,
reverently for there you will gather roses, instead of thorns; find
pearls, not pebbles; find love instead of hatred; forgiveness not
vengeance; freedom instead of bondage; humility not pride; instead of
enmity, reconciliation; instead of death, life, salvation, resurrection
and heavenly treasures.
How very foolish it is for anyone to commit his eternal soul to anything
other than the only thing in this world that will last FOREVER, The
WRITTEN LIVING WORD OF GOD and its divine manifestation is the
revelation and unveiling of the LOVING OMNIPOTENT GOD and the LORD
MESSIAH YESHUA, our blessed SAVIOUR & REDEEMER!
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Celebrating & Welcoming Shabbat! Infinite as YOUR power, even so is YOUR
love, O LORD OF HOSTS. YOU led us into the way of righteousness and
brought us to the light of truth. Therefore, at our lying down and our
rising up, we meditate on YOUR Teachings and at all times rejoice in
YOUR Laws. In them are true life and length of days. O that YOUR love
may never depart from our hearts. Praised are YOU, O LORD, WHO has made
us YOUR people.
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 33 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Fri 10 Dec 2010, 12:30 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A person who seeks help for a friend, while needy himself, will be
answered first.
CREATOR OF ISRAEL
"I am your HOLY ONE, the LORD, your KING, the CREATOR of Israel."
[Isaiah (Yeshayah) 43. 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
The EVER-LIVING LORD GOD is often referred to as the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL
and as the KING OF ISRAEL. This reference to HIM as the CREATOR OF
ISRAEL is particularly unique, however. In the four other passages
where GOD is called "CREATOR" -- HE, more specifically, is referred to
as "your CREATOR" [Ecclesiastes/ Kohelet 12. 1], "CREATOR of the earth
from end to end" [Isaiah/Yeshayah 40. 28], "the CREATOR, WHO is blessed
forever" [Romans 1. 25], and the "FAITHFUL CREATOR." [1 Peter 4. 19]
But in what sense has the ALMIGHTY ONE become Israel's MASTER DESIGNER?
The MIGHTY GOD of gods declared, "Be glad, then and rejoice forever in
what I am creating. For I shall create Jerusalem as a joy, and her
people as a delight." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "But
now thus says the LORD WHO created you, O Jacob; WHO formed you, O
Israel; fear not for I will redeem you, I have singled you out by name,
you are MINE." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 43. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
These testimonies apply to the spiritual creation of Israel in its
special relation to GOD and to the world. The physical City of Jerusalem
(streets, walls, etc.) are built by man. However, the HOLY ONE did
create the physical Israel, for HE created the marvelous process of
human birth and the physical processes of the earth, which HE then
rightly directed to ultimately establish the peoples and the land of
Israel, HIS chosen. And, there is a direct reference to the New
Jerusalem, which will indeed be specially created. The ALMIGHTY ONE,
HIMSELF will create and form as spoken of by John who saw "the Holy
City, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from GOD, prepared as a
bride adorned for her husband." [Revelation 21. 2] "For behold! I am
creating a new heaven and a new earth; the former things shall not be
remembered, they shall never come to mind." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17
Tanakh, Nevi'im]
The OMNISCIENT GOD SUPREME is the GREAT ARCHITECT. "I know too, that
whatever GOD has brought to pass will recur evermore." [Ecclesiastes
(Kohelet) 3. 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Israel, like the new heavens and the
new earth, is forever, for the MASTER DESIGNER is her MAKER & CREATOR.
"For as the new heaven and the new earth which I will make shall endure
by MY will - declares the LORD - so shall your seed and your name
endure." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 66. 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Someday very soon,
from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh will glory in the radiance of the
MOST HOLY LORD GOD worshipping HIM.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
The 8th Light is the Light of Courage. Let truth and justice be your
armour and fear not, the ALMIGHTY ONE is with you. Judah Maccabee, the
hero of Chanukkah, lived by the words Moses spoke to Joshua: "Ha'Zak
Ve'Emats (Be strong and of good courage)."
As we celebrate the last night (evening-to- evening) of Chanukkah, our
prayer for each of you is to be strong and of good courage; be bold as
you proclaim the GOOD NEWS of Salvation to all. We wish you every
happiness during this Festival of Lights, Christmas, and the coming
year. May the bright glow of the festive candles cause us to remember
the wonder reflected upon the SERVANT WHO bent down to bring light to
those HE served. The LORD bless and keep you throughout the coming days!
Go with GOD!
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Thought FOR TODAY
A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Confession is worth one hundred witnesses.
ASHAMED OR BOLD
"According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be
ashamed, but that with all BOLDNESS, as always, so now also MESSIAH
YESHUA will be magnified in my body, whether by life, or by death."
[Philippians 1. 20]
Paul frequently looked ahead, anticipating future events with
confidence, as if they had already happened or at least were secure. He
anticipated beyond his present circumstances to foresee the outcome of
faithfulness -- not being ashamed at the time of judgment.
Shame (Hebrew: kelimmah) is that painful feeling of having lost the
respect of others because of improper behaviour, incompetence, or
selfishness. It implies that the person has already thought about the
consequences of the action and is aware that they might be found out in
the course of events, but acts improperly anyhow. No defense is
possible in that tragic moment of discovery. The ashen shock is
followed by a rapid flush of blood to the skin, where the truth is
revealed in an un-mistaken emotional display of humiliation that the
world can visibly read. "The wicked flee when no one gives chase, but
the righteous are as confident (Hebrew: batach – bold, secure) as a
lion." [Proverbs (Mishle) 28. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Ezra experienced that deep feeling as he came before the ETERNAL LORD
GOD to confess for his people their disobedience and how they had
forsaken HIS commandments which the ALMIGHTY ONE gave through HiS
servants and prophets. [Ezra 9. 10] "O my GOD, I am too ashamed and
humiliated to lift my face to YOU, O my GOD, for our iniquities are
overwhelming and numerous; and our guilt has grown high as heaven."
[Ezra 9. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Over against that terrible feeling of guilt is the comfortable posture
of knowing that we have remained true to our MASTER'S admonitions and
warnings, "little children, abide in HIM, that, when HE shall appear, we
may have confidence and not be ashamed before HIM at HIS coming." [1
John 2. 28] The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH clearly stated the conditions,
"for whoever is ashamed of ME and of MY WORDS, of him the SON OF MAN
will be ashamed when HE comes in HIS OWN GLORY, and in HIS FATHER'S, and
of the holy angels." [Luke 9. 26] Praying always, "that I may open my
mouth BOLDLY to make known the mystery of the GOSPEL...that I may speak
BOLDLY, as I ought to speak." [Ephesians 6. 18 - 20] May we be found
worthy and confidently standing firm doing the MASTER'S will, with a
clear conscience, when HE comes for us or we go to be with HIM.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Praised are YOU, O LORD GOD, for great is YOUR love for us and YOUR
compassion boundless. Be gracious to us that we may understand and
fulfill the teachings of YOUR REVERED WORD. Enlighten our eyes in YOUR
Law that we may cling to YOUR commandments. Thank YOU for YOUR saving
power, for from YOU comes our help. Draw us nearer to YOU to serve YOU
in faithfulness. Joyfully, we lift our voices and proclaim YOUR PRECIOUS
NAME.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you're offered an inch - - take it.
OUR HIDING PLACE
"For in the time of trouble HE will shelter me in HIS pavilion; in the
protection of HIS tabernacle shall HE hide me; HE shall raise me high
upon a ROCK." [Psalms (Tehillym) 27. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
There come times in the life of each believer when the trials become
overwhelming and the whole world seems to be falling apart. Without the
LORD ETERNAL, it is impossible to escape, but with the LOVING GOD there
is safety and restoration, for HE alone is our "BELOVED HIDING PLACE."
There are many tender promises in HIS LIFE-GIVING WORD to explicitly
verify this declaration. The "pavilion" is best understood as the
well-protected Tent of the COMMANDING OFFICER. "How abundant is the
good that YOU have in store for those who fear YOU, that YOU do in the
full view of men for those who take refuge in YOU. YOU grant them the
protection of YOUR PRESENCE from prideful scheming man; YOU shelter them
secretly in YOUR pavilion from contentious tongues." [Psalms (Tehillym)
31. 19 - 20 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Here is a wonderful MESSIANIC PROMISE:
"A KING (MESSIAH YESHUA) shall be as a HIDING PLACE from the wind, and a
SHELTER from the rainstorms; as BROOKS OF WATER in a desert, as the
SHADE OF A MASSIVE ROCK in a weary land." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 32. 2
Tanakh, Nevi'im]
There, sheltered from the storm, our GRACIOUS FAITHFUL LORD gives
comfort and sweet counsel, until we are able to face the violent storm
victoriously. "O you who dwell in the SECRET PLACE (SHELTER) OF THE
MOST HIGH and abide in the shadowed protection of SHADDAI - I say of the
LORD, my REFUGE and STRONGHOLD, my GOD in WHOM I trust." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 91. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
One of the most beautiful of these promises introduces David's great
"Song of Redemption" - "O LORD, my ROCK, my FORTRESS, my DELIVERER! O
GOD, the ROCK wherein I take shelter; my SHIELD, my MIGHTY CHAMPION, my
HORN OF RESCUE, my STRONGHOLD and my REFUGE! My SAVIOUR, YOU WHO rescues
me from violence." [2 Samuel (Shemuel Bet) 22. 2 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Our hope is for that wonderful day when "GOD will wipe away every tear
from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
[Revelation 21. 4] How magnificently glorious that will be for all
eternity!
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!!
The 7th Light is the Light of Justice. Thus said King David, "Trust in
the LORD and wait patiently for HIM!" Nothing can be achieved in haste.
The spreading tree and the soul of man grows slowly to perfection. May
the LORD GOD teach you patience that you may endure every trial HE
allows to make you strong. By HIS great mercy, GOD has given us a new
birth into a LIVING HOPE through MESSIAH YESHUA! Rejoice and honour the
wonder of the ALMIGHTY ONE and HIS HOLY WORD ; receive the BLESSING of
Abraham, the SEED of Abraham. . . CHRIST JESUS the LORD.
HAPPY CHANUKKAH & MERRY CHRISTMAS!

HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
May our words and deeds revere THE NAME as we celebrate because HE came!
INCARNATE GOD
"For unto us a CHILD is born, unto us a SON is given,
And the government shall be upon HIS shoulder
And HIS NAME shall be called
- WONDERFUL
- COUNSELOR
- THE MIGHTY GOD
- THE EVERLASTING FATHER
- THE PRINCE OF PEACE." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 9. 6]
"For there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must
be saved." [Acts 4. 12]
MESSIAH YESHUA came almost 2,000 years ago as a LAMB to die.
A CHILD was born, perfect humanity.
A SON was given - undiminished DEITY.
The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is coming again as a LION from the tribe
of Judah to rule.
And when HE does, the government will be upon His shoulder.
HE will reign in absolute authority.
HE was given names to indicate the character of that future reign.
WONDERFUL. . . because that is where HIS attributes begin.
COUNSELOR. . . because HE will govern with faultless discern-ability.
THE MIGHTY GOD. . . because HE will rule with absolute authority.
THE EVERLASTING FATHER. . . because HE will possess endless longevity.
PRINCE OF PEACE. . . because HIS KINGDOM will be typified by eternal
tranquility.
A CHILD was born - A SON was given.
And because HE was, there is an answer to our questions,
THE SOLUTION to our problems,
THE HOPE for our end.
ALMIGHTY GOD won the destiny for Abraham's offspring
By the birth of THIS BABY. . . such a "FRAGILE THREAD"
From which to hang the heavy hopes and dreams of a people!
And yet, how consistent it was with GOD'S promises;
An expression of HIS ATTRIBUTES to HIS OWN GLORY.
GOD was motivated by HIS gracious and loving nature.
Therefore, we can rejoice exceedingly in the ETERNAL MESSAGE of
CHRISTmas.
May the brightness of HIS SALVATION light your way and guide you through
the wilderness of this world and bring you to eternally safety in HIS
Majestic Home.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
The 6th Light is the Light of Love. "You shall love the LORD your GOD
will all your heart and all your soul and with all your might!" May
YESHUA bless you with HIS great love that all may see it and know the
ONE from WHOM it came.
We celebrate Chanukkah – the bright glow of the candles causes us
to remember the wonders reflected upon the SERVANT WHO bent down to
bring light to those whom HE served. May the flame of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH
burn brightly in your heart as you share HIS light with others this
holiday season, and always.
Wishing you every happiness and fulfillment during this Festival of
Lights and the CHRISTMAS SEASON!
H A P P Y C H A N U K K A H !

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 33 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Mon 06 Dec 2010, 12:10 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The beginning of pride is when one departs from CREATOR GOD, and his
heart is turned away from his MAKER.
SINS OF THE NATION
"We have offended YOU by not keeping the commandments, the Laws, nor the
rules that YOU gave to YOUR servant Moses." [Nehemiah (Nechemah) 1. 7
Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Nehemiah had a great burden for his nation, Israel, and although he
himself had not been guilty of their sins, he willingly confess their
sins as his own, if ALMIGHTY GOD would only restore them to the Promised
Land.
The same heart was found in Ezra, "O my GOD, I am ashamed and mortified
to lift my face to YOU, O my GOD, for our iniquities are overwhelmingly
over our head and our guilt has grown high as heaven." [Ezra 9. 6
Tanakh, Kethuvim] Daniel also prayed for his Jewish people in fasting,
in sackcloth, and ashes identifying himself with their sins. "We have
sinned; we have gone astray; we have acted wickedly; we have been
rebellious and have deviated from YOUR commandments and YOUR rules. O
LORD hear! O LORD, forgive! O LORD listen, and act without delay for
YOUR OWN sake, O my GOD; for YOUR NAME is attached to YOUR City and YOUR
people." [Daniel (Danyel) 9. 5, 19 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Our LOVING OMNIPOTENT GOD heard their prayers and promised long ago,
"When MY people, who bear MY NAME, humble themselves, pray, and seek MY
favour and turn from their evil ways, I will hear in MY heavenly abode
and forgive their sins and heal their land." [2 Chronicles (Dibre
Hayamin Bet) 7. 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Today, all the lands of every nation are in need of healing. The GREAT
GOD ETERNAL desires HIS people to confess as their own, the sins of
their people, as we are partly responsible because of our past
indifference, merely criticizing instead of praying. Then perhaps the
HOLY ONE will hear as HE heard the prayers of Daniel, Ezra, and
Nehemiah.
The Apostle Paul felt the same burden in his day, "For I could wish that
I myself were accursed from CHRIST for my brothers, my kinsmen according
to the flesh." [Romans 9. 3] Others identified themselves with the sin
of their people along with Ezra and Paul. But, the LORD YESHUA
ha'MASHIACH went far beyond even that, HE not only identified HIMSELF
with us in our lost sinful state, but also "bore our sins in HIS OWN
BODY on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for
righteousness. " [1 Peter 2. 24] We can never thank HIM enough for all
the great goodness JESUS the BELOVED ONE has shown to us!
Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
The LORD GOD be with you this day and always; and may HIS grace, mercy
and peace abound in your life!
The 5th Light is the Light of Holiness. Purity of thought and nobility
of action make all of life sacred. "Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD OF
HOSTS; the whole earth is filled with HIS Glory!"
May the REDEEMER of all ages make you holy and may you grow in HIS
wisdom and favour. And, may the flame of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH burn
brightly in your heart as you share HIS light with others this holiday
season, and always. Happy Chanukkah!

Post  Admin Sun 05 Dec 2010, 3:05 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
CREATOR GOD OF HEAVEN gave us tears so we could water our feelings and
grow as HIS people.
SECOND BIRTH
"When the time came for her (Tamar) to give birth, there were twins in
her womb! -- When she was in labour, one of them put out his hand; and
the midwife tied a scarlet thread on his hand to signify 'this one came
out first.' But just then he drew back his hand, and out came his
brother. Afterward his brother came out, on whose hand was the scarlet
thread." [Genesis (Bereshith) 38. 27 - 29 Tanakh, Torah]
This is the story of Perez and Zerah, sons of Judah and his
daughter-in- law, Tamar. Although Zerah was the first in line for
birth, the second son, so named Perez (means: breach, break through)
received the blessing as the first born. Perez is in the royal line of
King David and the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH.
Zerah (means: out first, rising, brightness) was an honourable man and
his descendants were men of renown. And, one of them was renown for
being the king's deputy in all matters concerning the people.
[Nehemiah/Nechemah 11. 24] But Perez and his descendants were superior
to them all.
Jacob, the grandfather of Perez and Zerah, who also was the second born
had a special story of his own. Jacob bought the birthright from his
elder brother, Esau, with a bowl of lentil stew; as "Esau despised his
birthright." [Genesis/Bereshith 25. 31 - 34] "Now Esau hated Jacob
because of the blessing which his father had given him." [Genesis
(Bereshith) 27. 41 Tanakh, Torah] Nevertheless, OMNIPOTENT GOD,
according to election, not of works said, "The older shall serve the
younger" and as is written "Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated."
[Romans 9. 11 - 13]
The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA told Nicodemus, a Pharisees, that "unless one is
born again, he cannot see the KINGDOM OF GOD.' Nicodemus said to HIM,
'How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into
his mother's womb and be born?' JESUS answered, 'Most assuredly, I say
to you, unless one is born of wATER and the SPIRIT, he cannot enter the
KINGDOM OF GOD. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which
is born of the SPIRIT is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You
must be born again.'" [John 3. 1 - 12]
The importance of the Second Birth is for receiving the blessing. For
if one is born once, he will die twice. But, if he is BORN twice, he
will DIE ONLY once. "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the
sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So
is everyone who is born of the SPIRIT." [John 3. 7]
Those of us who are born into the family of GOD MOST HIGH have
experienced the second birth (regeneration, rekindling, renewal) "having
been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the
WORD OF GOD which lives and abides forever." [1 Peter 1. 23] And the
blessing for those who are twice born: YESHUA, the GOOD SHEPHERD
pastures and "HE gathers HIS lambs in HIS arms, and carries them in HIS
bosom." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 40. 10 - 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im] AS WE OBEY and
serve our WONDERFUL SAVIOUR & LORD, our days prosper and our years are
full of pleasure, contentment and exceeding joy at HIS right hand
forevermore. [Job/Iyob 36. 11; Psalms/Tehillym 16. 11] Go forward with
excessive joy and be lead with peace.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Be blessed as we bid farewell to Shabbat! May the ALMIGHTY ONE, WHO
separates the holy from the secular, forgive our sins and grant us a
good week as we continue in HIS service!!
The 4th Light is the Light of Mercy. Cruelty hardens the heart and
destroys friendship. "Do justice, and love mercy, and walk humbly after
your GOD." Truly, the LORD is exceptionally good, HIS mercy is eternal,
HIS faithfulness and truth is for all generations. May mercy, peace and
love be yours in abundance.
Prayerfully you are sharing wonderful holy-days together with friends
and family. Also, we pray is that the flame of the LORD YESHUA
ha'MASHIACH burn brightly in your heart as you share HIS light with
others. Happy Chanukkah!
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The flame is the only physical item that defies gravity. . . it reaches
ever upward; like the soul of man which constantly strains for the
heavens. The natural state of the soul is to grow. Like the flame, the
more it burns, the smaller the candle becomes. Likewise with the soul
of man, the more the soul grows, the more the physical diminishes.
[Rabbi Alex Chapper]
JUST ANOTHER BABY BOY?
Just another BABY BOY -- born in Bethlehem town.
One more hungry mouth to feed, and so the world slept on.
It was a weary, captive world gripped tight in Rome's domain.
The chilling fear of tyranny fast held them like a chain.
Another BABY, more or less...what difference could HE be?
One more soul to bear the pain and share their misery.
So passed mankind a winter's night, those beaten down by sin,
Too dull to hear angelic strains that rose above the din.
Now two millennia have passed since CREATOR GOD took human frame.
The world runs its appointed course, but nevermore the same.
HE gathered up the captive's chain
Once forged for you and me.
HE broke the foul tyrant's grasp and purchased liberty.
Now looms above the manager bed a message for all men:
HE died, HE lives, HE intercedes, HE'S coming back again!
Then herald forth the joyous word, our voices lift as one. . .
. . . the BABE WHO slept in the cattle stall
Is ALMIGHTY GOD'S TRIUMPHANT SON.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Welcoming Sabbath the Bride of the Week and the First Light of
Chanukkah. Let us celebrate the Bride-of-the- Week by removing ourselves
from the ordinary and enter the holiness of Shabbat.
Happy Chanukkah! The 3rd Light is the Light of Justice. No nation can
endure who is unjust to the weak…"Justice, always justice shall you
pursue!" Take heed that you judge in righteousness, for you do not judge
for man but for the GOD WHO is with you in judgment.
Wishing you every happiness and fulfillment during this celebration of
the Festival of Lights - Chanukkah – may the bright glow of the
candles causes us to remember the wonders reflected upon the SERVANT WHO
bent down to bring light to those whom HE served.
Love, mercy, strength & peace to all.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 33 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Sat 04 Dec 2010, 1:15 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Mercy and wrath both come from the LORD; and HIS displeasure rests upon
sinners.
IN THE BEGINNING
"MY oWN hand founded the earth, MY right hand spread out the heavens.
When I call to them, they stand up together." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 48. 13
Tanakh, Nevi'im]
This SCRIPTURE passage not only tells us that GOD is the CREATOR OF
HEAVEN & EARTH, but also that HE created them instantly and
simultaneously. Creation was not a "process" -- but an amazing and
miraculous event! ALMIGHTY GOD, the GREAT FASHIONER & MASTER DESIGNER
simply spoke them into being.
This is the testimony of the incomparable account of creation in
Genesis. . ."In the beginning ELOHIYM created heaven and earth."
[Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 1 Tanakh, Torah] Creation of all things was an
event completed in the past. . . in its beginning. Who else could
create, but the HOLY ONE OF HEAVEN, for by the greatness of HIS might
and the strength of HIS power, all things exist.
The Psalmist harmonizes: "By the WORD OF THE LORD the heavens were
made, by the breath of HIS mouth, all their host...for HE spoke, and it
was; HE commanded, and it endured." [Psalms (Tehillym) 33. 6, 9 Tanakh,
Kethuvim] "Let the heavens praise the NAME OF THE LORD, for it was HE
WHO commanded and they were created. HE made them endure forever,
establishing an order that shall never change." [Psalms (Tehillym) 148.
5 - 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
When the EXALTED ONE, blessed be HE, called a thing into existence, it
happened. When HE called for the heavens, the earth and all that HE
made were just as HE said. "And ELOHIYM saw all that HE had made, and
found it very good. And there was evening and there was morning (a
24-hour day; evening/morning each of the days of creation week) the
sixth day." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 31 Tanakh, Torah] The seventh day,
the CREATOR rested, this is the only day "evening and morning" are
deliberately omitted because the LOVING ETERNAL ONE knows we will find
eternal rest in HIM alone.
OMNISCIENT GOD created the heavens and the earth and all that was needed
in six days, not millions or even thousands of years; nor did anything
evolve or develop on its own! "In six days the LORD made heaven and
earth and sea and all that is in them." [Exodus (Shemot) 20. 11 Tanakh,
Torah]
It is very important to recognize the "recent" creation of all things,
GOD SAID SO and no GOD-fearing person should ever compromise any of HIS
HOLY WORD. The REVEALED WORD of our blessed LORD GOD, WHO alone is
TRUTH, is stupendous and fascinating beyond words, and should be our
primary concern. HIS LIFE-GIVING WORD transcends and outshines all
theories or arguments of men.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world of YOUR creation.
May YOUR will be fulfilled and YOUR SOVEREIGNTY revealed in the days of
our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel speedily and in
our time, Amen. May YOU be blessed forever, even to all eternity. May
YOU, MOST HOLY ONE, be blessed, praised & honoured, extolled &
glorified, adored & exalted above all else. Blessed are YOU, ALMIGHTY
LORD beyond all blessings & hymns, praises & consolations that may be
uttered in this world, Amen. May peace abundant descend from heaven
with life for us and to all Israel, Amen.
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 33 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Fri 03 Dec 2010, 4:16 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
In MESSIAH YESHUA dwells the fullness of the GODHEAD BODILY.
DEDICATION (Part 2)
The eight-branched Menorah also represents the people of GOD WHO are
"the lower lights." The MESSIAH called HIS followers "lights"
[Ephesians 5. 8] and also commanded them to let their "light so shine
before men" that their good works would be seen and the HEAVENLY FATHER
glorified. [Matthew 5. 16]
To the Jewish people there is much significance in the idea of Lights -
one of them is relative to marriage: "From every human being there rises
a light that reaches straight to heaven. And when two souls that are
destined to be together find each other, their streams of light flow
together, and a single brighter light goes forth from their united
being." [Baal Shem Tov]
The WORD OF GOD describes YESHUA ha'MASHIACH as THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
HE came as the SERVANT (SHAMMAS) to light every man who comes to HIM;
and all who come to HIM shall no longer walk in darkness, but shall have
the LIGHT OF LIFE! A song of thanksgiving for this LIGHT is found in
the book of Isaiah: "The people that walked in darkness have seen a
brilliant LIGHT; on those who dwelt in the land of gloom and death,
LIGHT has dawned." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 9. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Yes, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is this GLORIOUS LIGHT, WHO shines - not for
one night only or even for eight nights. . . but HE is as the "NER
TORMID" - THE PERPETUAL LIGHT shining victoriously forevermore!
There is a popular game which is played at this season to remember the
Miracle of Lights. Dreidels (tops) are spun in this celebration. The
driedel is shaped like a cube, on each of the lateral sides of which is
found a Hebrew letter. The four Hebrew letters are nun, gimmel, hai,
shin -- the initials of the words which constitute the sentence, "Nes
Gadol Hayah Sham" or "A Great Miracle Happened There."
Why is this game so linked with Chanukkah? During the rule of the
Greek-Syrians, studying the TORAH was outlawed and if anyone was caught,
the "crime" was punishable by death. So, when the children were studying
the TORAH and they saw a Greek patrol come by, they would quickly hide
the TORAH and take out a dreidel and begin playing. So, it is a
reminder of the brave children who had the courage to study the TORAH
even under such dangerous circumstances and times.
In the Gamatra (numerology) the initial Hebrew letters of "A Great
Miracle Happed There" have the number value (358) which is the same
numerical value as the name "Messiah!" YESHUA truly is "THE GREATEST of
miracles!" HE came that we might have life, and that abundantly.
In John 10:22 we read of THE ONE WHO walked on Solomon's porch on this
day (Feast of Dedication), WHO has won a victory for us greater than
that of Judah Maccabeus. YESHUA, the WORD-made-Flesh, has loosed us
from the hands of our enemy, the Devil, and has cleansed the
once-polluted Temple by the ministry of HIS HOLY SPIRIT. We who are
redeemed, rejoice in the GIFT of all gifts, not only at the Feast of
Dedication, but every moment of our lives when we remember the victory
the LORD JESUS wrought for us and the MIRACLE OF THE EVERLASTING LIGHT
in our souls! HalleluYAH!
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
HAPPY CHANUKAH! The Second Light is the LIGHT of TORAH. Israel's BOOK OF
LAW: The Commandment is a Lamp and the Law is a Light.
May mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. And, may you share
wonderful holy-days together with friends and family. Our prayer, also,
is that the flame of the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH burn brightly in your
hear as you share HIS light with others.
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Thought FOR TODAY
A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Fight for your opinions, but do not believe that they contain the whole
truth or the only truth. . . for only the MESSIAH, the LORD JESUS OF
NAZARETH is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE, and THE LIGHT.
Dedication (Part 1)
"Instruct the Israelites to bring you clear oil of beaten olives for
lighting, to cause the lamp TO BURN ALWAYS. Aaron and his sons shall set
them up in the Tabernacle of Meeting, outside the curtain which is
before the Ark of the Covenant, to burn from evening to morning before
the LORD. It shall be a due from the Israelites FOR ALL TIME, throughout
the ages." [Exodus (Shemot) 27. 20 - 21 Tanakh, Torah]
It is said that the Hebrew word, Chanukkah, itself tells of the date for
its observance: "hanu" means "rested" and "kah" means "25". Thus, it
was on the 25th of Kislev that the Jewish people "rested" from their
enemies at that time in history. Chanukkah is the "Festival of Lights"
because of the many lights involved in the Feast. "Chanukkah" literally
means "dedication" in memory of the rededication of the Temple in 165 BC
by Judas Maccabeus, after it had been polluted by Antiochus Epiphanes,
the Syrian king. In 176 BC Antiochus tried to force the Jews to give up
their faith and to adopt Greek customs. He persecuted the Jews who
refused to do this.
Antiochus Epiphanes converted the TEMPLE OF GOD to worship Zeus, and
placed an image of Zeus the dominant Greek god (the abomination of
desolation) in the Holy Place. He looted the Temple and ordered all
Jews to bow down to the idols placed there. Then, Antiochus brought in
a sow, and placed it on the Holy Altar in desecration of ALMIGHTY GOD'S
holiness. He brought waste and destruction -- desecrated the vessels of
the LORD in debauchery and drunkenness and put out the "Ner Tomid
(Perpetual Light)."
Eventually the deliverance began with one righteous and godly father.
Daniel 11:32 says, "He will flatter with smooth words those who have
violated the covenant, but the people who know their GOD will firmly
resist him." Or as it also can be translated, …the people who are
devoted to their GOD shall be strong, and carry out great exploits."
The Hasmoneans, the Maccabee family, led the Jews in a revolt. The
people fled to the mountains to avoid Antiochus' revenge. The revolt,
however, spread. The old priest Mattathias died of exhaustion and
sickness after one year, but Judah, one his five sons, who was nicknamed
"the Maccabee" or "the Hammer" - because of his military might,
succeeded him. After three years of hard guerilla warfare the small band
under Judah the Maccabee and his brothers was able to throw out the
Syrian forces after two stunning victories in open battle.
"I will rouse your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Javan (Greece),
and make you a warrior's sword. Then the LORD will appear over them
(Judah); HIS arrows will flash lightning. The SOVEREIGN LORD will sound
the ram's horn; he will march in the storms of the south, and the
LORD ALMIGHTY will protect them. [HIS] slingstones shall destroy and
overcome with." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 9. 13 – 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
After several years of fighting, Judah and his men drove the Syrians
out, they immediately set out for Jerusalem to restore the Temple. On
Kislev 25, 165 BCE, exactly three years after the Temple had been
defiled, they rededicated the altar to the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN.
In the Temple, the priests kept the light burning in obedience to the
command of the HOLY ONE, but when they prepared to rekindle this light
after the victory, they found that there was only enough oil to last one
day. This was a tragic discovery to the Jewish people for the ALMIGHTY'S
command could not then be carried out. Search was made for the oil for
this Lamp. The oil must be pure and prepared under the care of the high
priest and sealed with his seal. No pure oil could be found nor could
any be prepared before 8 days (7 days set apart to the LORD; on the 8th
day it became holy to the LORD). The small jug of oil bearing the seal
of the high priest might suffice for only one day, but according to the
Jewish people's tradition a miracle occurred, the oil lasted for the
full eight days!
Thus, in Synagogues and homes, Chanukkah is principally observed by the
lighting of candles set in an eight-branched Menorah to commemorate the
Miracle and the Victory. This Menorah also contains an additional
holder for the candle called "Shammas (servant)" with which the others
are lighted. The custom is to burn one candle the first evening, two
the second; progressively increased each evening until all eight are lit
on the eighth night. Before each candle is lit there is a blessing
recited and singing follows afterwards.
It is significant that the eight candles of the Chanukkah Menorah are
not lighted with a match but with the "Shammas." Then after the
"SERVANT" has given its light to all the others it is put in a high
place or a special place of honour in the Menorah. Do you not see in
this action a beautiful picture of the only SERVANT (of GOD) WHO was
exalted after HE had given HIS light to HIS people? In the words of
Isaiah we find HIM described: "The REDEEMER OF ISRAEL, GOD'S HOLY ONE;
the DESPISED ONE; HIM WHO is abhorred of nations; to the SERVANT of
rulers: kings shall see and stand up; nobles, and they shall prostrate
themselves - to the honour of the LORD, WHO is faithful, to the HOLY ONE
OF ISRAEL WHO chose you." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 49. 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Chanukkah is the story of victory over apostasy and lawlessness. It is
therefore very important for us today. Yeshua honored this Feast and
Hebrews 11:33-38 includes the people involved in the Chanukah story in
its list of the heroes of faith.
CREATOR GOD exalts HIS SERVANT, MESSIAH YESHUA, and causes kings and
princes to bow down before HIM. Yes, the LORD JESUS is the only SERVANT
WHO is worthy to be given a position of honour! HE is the ONE sent of
GOD to bring us the light of salvation. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 52. 13 - 15;
Philippians 2. 6 - 8] Of MESSIAH YESHUA, the KING of all ages, it is
written, "The LIGHT OF ISRAEL will be fire, and the HOLY ONE a flame."
[Isaiah (Yeshayah) 10. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
...to be continued
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
The 8-Nights of Chanukkah start tonight at sundown, December 1st this
year. Prepare to enjoy the Festival of Lights!!!
The First Light tells us of HIM WHOSE first command was, "Let there be
light." The darkness of idol worship and immorality was scattered when
Israel brought radiant knowledge of one GOD. The ETERNAL ONE is the
revealed SOURCE of Israel's Light: "YEHOWAH went before them in a Pillar
of Cloud by day, to guide them along the way, and in a Pillar of Fire by
night, to give them LIGHT, that they might travel day and night. The
Pillar of Cloud by day and the Pillar of Fire by night did not depart
from before the people." [Exodus/Shemot 13:21-22]
May you grow daily in the richness and blessings of knowing HIM, WHO is
CREATOR GOD, the LIGHT of the world.
Happy Chanukkah!
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Make the study of GOD'S Law your regular occupation!
MIGHTY WORD
"Behold, MY WORD is like FIRE - declares the LORD, and like a HAMMER
that shatters rock!" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 29 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
The power resident in the WORD OF GOD -- both HIS SPOKEN WORD and HIS
WRITTEN WORD, the HOLY SCRIPTURES -- are so great that the BIBLICAL
writers almost exhaust their resources of language in trying to describe
it, using many and varied figures of speech to illustrate its wonders.
It is the "WORD" which produces and maintains life. "When YOUR WORDS
were offered, I devoured them; YOUR WORD brought me the delight and joy
of knowing that YOUR NAME is attached to me, O LORD GOD OF HOSTS."
[Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 15. 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im] It is both "milk" for the
babe and "strong meat" for the mature in MESSIAH YESHUA [Hebrews 5. 12]
and our "daily bread." "Man shall not live by bread alone" - the LORD
JESUS said - "but by every WORD OF GOD." [Luke 4. 4] "How pleasing is
YOUR WORDS to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!" [Psalms
(Tehillym) 119. 103 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
The LIFE-GIVING WORD OF GOD is also our light day after day. "We have
the prophetic WORD made more sure...a light that shines in a dark
place." [2 Peter 1. 19] "YOUR WORD is a LAMP to my feet, a LIGHT for
my path." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 105 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Also, we are counseled to take "the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the
WORD OF GOD." [Ephesians 6. 17] for "the WORD OF GOD is quick and
powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the
division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a
discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." [Hebrews 4. 12]
As a HAMMER, it can break any resistant hindrance to CREATOR GOD'S will.
There are many other wonderful, explicit comparisons of the MIGHTY WORD
OF TRUTH, for it so consumed the writers of the HOLY SCRIPTURES they
could not help but write of its praises and powers. Jeremiah stated,
after having declared that he would no longer preach the WORD to
unbelievers, "I thought, 'I will not mention HIM, no more will I speak
in HIS NAME'-- but HIS WORD was like a raging fire in my heart, shut up
in my bones; I could not hold it in, I was helpless." [Jeremiah
(Yirmeyah) 20. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im] GOD'S HOLY WORD will not be silent
or silenced! Let us pray for such a burning, raging fire in our own
souls and speak the merciful, life-giving WORD OF GOD with BOLDNESS.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!!
Great and majestic is YOUR HOLY NAME, O LORD GOD. YOU have made YOUR
eternal law our portion, and gave us a goodly heritage. YOU appointed us
to proclaim YOUR truth to the nations and to win them for YOUR Law of
Righteousness. Sanctify us for the service to which YOU called us, O
HEAVENLY FATHER, that YOUR NAME may be hallowed through us in all the
world. Gather all YOUR children around YOUR Banner of Truth that YOUR
praise may resound from one end of the earth to the other, and that the
entire human family may be blessed with truth and peace!
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Post  Admin Tue 30 Nov 2010, 3:13 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing in the
right place, but also to leave unsaid the wrong at a tempting moment.
DELIBERATE SIN
"For IF we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the
truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain
fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour
the adversaries. " [Hebrews 10. 26 - 27]
This is one of the most controversial passages of HOLY SCRIPTURE because
of its apparent conflict with passages which teach salvation by grace,
entirely apart from the Law or any form of works [Ephesians 2. 8-9;
Titus 3. 5] and absolute security in salvation to those who belong to
the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH. [John 10. 28 - 29; Romans 8. 35 - 39]
All unintentional sins in the OLD COVENANT have a covering, but no
intentional sin is covered. [Leviticus/Vayikra 4 - 5] And, in the NEW
COVENANT, there are many passages that warn against deliberate acts of
sin. "Whoever says, 'I know HIM'- and does not keep HIS commandments, is
a liar, and the truth is not in him." [1 John 2. 4] "To the pure all
things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is
pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to
know GOD, but in works they deny HIM, being abominable, disobedient, and
disqualified for every good work." [Titus 1. 15 - 16] "Whoever has
been born of GOD does not sin, for HIS seed remains in him; and he
cannot sin, because he has been born of GOD. In this the children of GOD
and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice
righteousness is not of GOD; nor is he who does not love his brother."
[1 John 3. 9 - 10]
There are many "impervious (solid, pure, reliable, trustworthy) texts"
on both sides of this question, and since there are no real
contradictions in GOD'S HOLY WRITTEN WORD, the LORD must have had a good
reason for inspiring this apparent paradox in HIS BOOK. The
misunderstanding is on our part, not on the HOLY SCRIPTURES. On the one
hand, it is vital for every true believer in the LORD JESUS, THE
ONLY-BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER to know that they are saved and have eternal
life. "And this is the testimony: that GOD has given us eternal life,
and this life is in HIS SON. He who has the SON has life; he who does
not have the SON OF GOD does not have life. These things I have written
to you who believe in the NAME OF THE SON OF GOD, that you may know that
you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the NAME
OF THE SON OF GOD." [1 John 5. 11 - 13]
Nonetheless, it is lethally dangerous for a person merely to think he or
she is saved when there is no "evidence" of a changed life. "Let grace
be shown to the wicked scoundrel, yet he learns not righteousness,
though spared." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 26. 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Such
SCRIPTURES give sober warning that professing CHRISTians have no basis
for any assurance of salvation if they do not obey HIS COMMANDS. "Now
by this we know that we know HIM, IF we keep HIS commandments. " [1 John
2. 3] CHRIST JESUS THE LORD stated, "IF you love ME, keep MY
commandments. " [John 14. 15] MESSIAH YESHUA also said, "IF anyone
loves ME, he will keep MY WORD." [John 14. 23] This is not a command
but, it is supportive evidence of our love for HIM.
Therefore, "Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test
yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that JESUS CHRIST is in you? -
unless indeed you are disqualified. " [2 Corinthians 13. 5] "For IF
these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor
unfruitful in the knowledge of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. For he who lacks
these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that
he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more
diligent to make your call and election sure, for IF you do these things
you will never stumble." [2 Peter 1. 8 - 10] "For a good tree does not
bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is
known by its own fruit." [Luke 6. 43 - 44]
What kind of fruit is your life producing, manifesting and initiating?
Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Life is a blessing! You are an integral part of GOD'S plan; the
favour of the LORD'S blessings are brought by HIS good pleasure.
Consider your latter end: fear the LORD GOD, the HOLY CREATOR, take heed
to HIS counsel, seek understanding. Grace be with all those who love
our LORD MESSIAH YESHUA in sincerity. Watch and pray...our RIGHTEOUS
KING is coming soon!
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A dead man is mourned seven days, a fool his lifetime.
ARROGANT IGNORANCE
"Strangers have consumed his strength, but he has taken no notice; also,
gray mold hair is scattered over him, but he has taken no notice."
[Hosea (Hoshea) 7. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
One of the saddest dramas in human experience is the sight of a proud
and self-confident leader who does not realize that his once-flaunted
powers have deserted him and he now appears simply weak and foolish.
The powerful, strong and impressive Samson, with his hair cut off, was a
lamentable and grievous example of such disastrous ignorance. "He did
not know that the LORD had departed from him" [Judges (Shofetim) 16.
20], so the Philistines were able to put out his eyes and bind him with
chains. The once-mighty people of Israel in the days of their deep
apostasy, were in the same ignorant condition. Hosea versed their
distressing dilemma and perplexing confusion well. "They sow wind, and
they shall reap whirlwind". . . whatever little is produced, strangers
devour it. [Hosea (Hoshea) 8. 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Many years later, GOD'S people, Judah, exhibited an even greater tragic
state of egotistical ignorance. Their MESSIAH had come to them and they
did not know HIM, they even crucified HIM. GOD'S righteous judgment
would not be delayed. "[Your enemies] shall level you, and your
children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one
stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your
visitation." [Luke 19. 44]
The church at Laodicea, is a most tragic case, as this church represents
all those outwardly prosperous, evangelical churches that attempt to
take a neutral position on the basic conflicts of the last days. The
HOLY ONE WHO is "the AMEN, the FAITHFUL & TRUE WITNESS, the BEGINNING of
the creation of GOD" [Revelation 3. 14] will pronounce the awful
judgment on them. "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold
nor hot, I will spew you out of MY mouth. Because you say, 'I am rich,
have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' - and do not know that
you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked." [Revelation 3. 16 -
17] Saints of ALMIGHTY GOD urgently need to guard against the tragedy
of arrogant ignorance!
We need to examine ourselves in light of HOLY SCRIPTURES, "Examine
yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you
not know yourselves, that JESUS CHRIST is in you? --unless indeed you
are disqualified. " [2 Corinthians 13. 5] We need to acknowledge our
inadequacy, "we have all become like an unclean thing. And all our
virtues like a filthy rag. We are all withering like leaves, and our
iniquities, like a wind, carry us off." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 64. 6 Tanakh,
Nevi'im] Then allow that WORD OF TRUTH to bring us to the LORD MESSIAH
YESHUA, our ONLY ANSWER, our ONLY HOPE. . . HIS righteousness imputed to
us by faith!
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, remember there is light and joy,
gladness and honour for all of GOD'S people. Have a blessed week
remembering the HOLY ONE WHOM we celebrate and adore. Be sure to take
some of Sabbath's sweetness with you daily! Keep looking up, the best
is yet to be! Yes, the person who knows the WORD OF GOD is well armed
against the deceptions of the scheming Devil. When you know the TRUTH"
you know The MASTER.
May you be a witnesses of the MOST HOLY ONE'S care, love, and glorious
presence through the days ahead.
Tov Shavua - Have a good week!
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Post  Admin Sat 27 Nov 2010, 4:16 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Blessed be the generation in which the "great in wisdom" accept the
authority of "the humble."
SEARCH FOR WISDOM
"Where can wisdom be found? and where is the source of understanding? "
[Job (Iyob) 28. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Men have been searching for this most precious of all treasures since
time began. Eve, when tempted by Satan to believe that the "forbidden
fruit" would make her wise, fell into sin. Likewise, long before Abram
left Ur of the Chaldeans, the Patriarch Job (Iyob) was asking this old,
frequent inquiry of his three judgmental, fault-finding friends; but
they could not answer.
Job states: "Man sets his hand against the flinty rock and overturns
mountains by the roots. He carves out channels through rock; his eyes
behold every precious thing. He dams up the sources of the streams so
that hidden things may be brought to light." [Job (Iyob) 28. 9 - 11
Tanakh, Kethuvim] "But, where can wisdom be found; where is the source
of understanding? No man can set a value on it; it cannot be found in
the land of the living." [Job (Iyob) 28. 12 - 13 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Truly, wisdom cannot be mined nor can it be purchased even with the
finest gold or precious stones.
There is a way to ascertain and learn true wisdom -- it is found only in
the NEVER-FAILING ONE HIMSELF, for "GOD understands the way to it; HE
knows the source." [Job (Iyob) 28. 23 Tanakh, Kethuvim] In truth, the
ALMIGHTY CREATOR is THE SOURCE. "For HE sees to the ends of the earth,
observes all that is beneath the heavens. When HE fixed the weight of
the winds, set the measure of the waters; when HE made a rule for the
rain and a course for the thunderstorms, then HE saw it and gauged it;
HE measured it and probed it. HE said to man, 'See! Fear of the LORD is
wisdom; and to shun and depart evil is understanding. '" [Job (Iyob) 28.
24 - 28 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
True wisdom is to be found in the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA "WHO became for us
WISDOM from GOD." [1 Corinthians 1. 30] In CHRIST JESUS THE LORD "are
hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." [Colossians 2. 3]
We find wisdom in HIS WRITTEN WORD, the HOLY SCRIPTURES. "Let the WORD
OF THE LORD dwell in you richly in all wisdom." [Colossians 3. 16]
If a person desires wisdom, REAL WISDOM, they will find it only in
reverently fearing the LORD GOD, departure from all evil, and receiving
the precious MESSIAH JESUS as REDEEMER, SAVIOUR, SOVEREIGN LORD & KING.
Wisdom comes through the diligent search to learn HIS ways and obeying
them. "For the LORD grants wisdom; knowledge and discernment are by HIS
decree. HE reserves ability for the upright and is a SHIELD for those
who live blamelessly, guarding the paths of justice, protecting the way
of those loyal to HIM. You will then understand what is right, just, and
equitable - every good course. For wisdom will enter your mind and
knowledge will delight you." [Proverbs (Mishle) 2. 6 - 10 Tanakh,
Kethuvim] Go forth then and learn!
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Welcome Sabbath! Come, let us go out to meet the Sabbath Queen, come, O
Bride -- the Sabbath presence is eagerly awaited, and joyously welcomed!
We praise and bless YOU, our GREAT GOD, for lovingly and graciously
giving YOUR Holy Shabbat to all peoples. May you receive blessings in
abundance as you rest and fellowship with the LORD GOD. Enjoy
tranquility and harmony as you come together this Sabbath!
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 33 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Wed 24 Nov 2010, 1:30 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Even when the HOLY GOD OF HEAVEN says nothing, some men turn it into
something.
WHEN GOD HAS NOT SPOKEN
"I did not send those prophets, but they rushed in; I did not speak to
them, yet they prophesied. IF they had stood in MY counsel, let them
announce MY words to MY people and make them turn from their evil way
and wicked acts and return to ME - says the LORD." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah)
23. 21 - 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Today, as in times past, there are self-proclaimed prophets who say they
are bring a word to you and prefix it with thus says the LORD. Since
there are three voices we can hear from . . .the ALMIGHTY CREATOR, ones
own spirit, and Satan -- it is vitally imperative that you are able to
"discern the source" of the message. The question that we should ask
is, where did this message come from?
ALMIGHTY GOD'S MESSAGE: "Who has marked HIS WORD and heard it? He who
has stood in the council of the LORD, and seen, and heard HIS WORD - he
who has listened to HIS WORD must obey and announce it." [Jeremiah
(Yirmeyah) 23. 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "I did not send those prophets, but
they rushed in; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied. IF they
have stood in MY counsel, let them announce MY WORDS to MY people, and
make them turned back from their evil ways and wicked acts – says
the LORD." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 21 – 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
"I have heard what the prophets say, who prophesy falsely in MY NAME: 'I
had a dream, I had a dream.' How long will there be in the minds of the
prophets who prophesy falsehood – the prophets of their own
deceitful minds – the plan to make MY people forget MY NAME, by
means of the dreams which they tell each other." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah)
23. 25 - 26 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Assuredly, I am going to deal with the
prophets – declares the LORD – who steal MY WORDS from one
another, who wag their tongues and make oracular utterances. I am going
to deal with those who prophesy lying dreams, who relate them to lead MY
people astray with their reckless lies, when I did not send them or
command them. They do this people no good - declares the LORD."
[Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 30 - 32 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
PERSONAL IMAGINATION or SATAN'S LIE: A message from an individual
originates in himself and focuses the attention on himself, causing him
to appear more spiritual than others. It is words for people who have
itchy ears. Hananiah brought a message the people wanted to hear. GOD
OMNIPOTENT concluded, "Listen, Hananiah! YEHOWAH did not sent you, and
you have given this people lying assurances. Assuredly, thus said the
LORD: I am going to banish you from off the face of the earth. This year
you shall die, for you have urged disloyalty (taught rebellion) to the
LORD." [Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 28. 1 - 17] There was also a "lying spirit"
in the mouth of all the prophets of King Ahab. [1 Kings/Melakhim Alef
22. 23]
A worthless prophet will "lead MY people (Israel) astray."
[Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 23. 13] "The prophets of Jerusalem are something
horrifying: adultery and false dealing. They encourage evildoers, so
that no one turns back from his wickedness." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 14
Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Thus said the LORD OF HOSTS: Do not listen to the
words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They are deluding you, the
prophecies they speak are from their own minds, not from the mouth of
the LORD." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "They declare
to men who despise ME - the LORD has said: `All shall be well with
you' And to all who follow their willful hearts they say: 'No evil shall
befall you.'" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
In the NEW COVENANT, the Apostle Paul said, "Let two or three prophets
speak, and let the others JUDGE." [1 Corinthians 14. 29] We desperately
need to be able to discern the source of a message. When the TRUE &
LIVING GOD does speak, we should hear and obey promptly. When a message
is of man or from the Adversary, we need to recognize the source and not
get caught up in their lie and be deceived. For many "evil men and
impostors" will become embolden, and they "will grow worse and worse,
deceiving and being deceived." [2 Timothy 3. 13] Let us take heart,
the TRUE & EVERLASTING LORD GOD we serve knows what is ahead and has
forewarned us in HIS foreknowledge of our time and has prophetically
written in HIS WORD. "Indeed, my LORD YEHOWAH does nothing without
first having revealed HIS purpose (secret) to HIS servants, the
prophets." [Amos (Amus) 3. 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "No longer do I call you
servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I
have called you friends, for all things that I heard from MY FATHER, I
have made known to you." [John 15. 15] Stay alert, for such a time as
this…lest you be deceived!
Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
MOST HOLY LORD, continue to impart YOUR blessing upon us. Teach us to
seek YOU evermore within the sanctuary of our souls, within the
tabernacle of YOUR world, and in the congregation of YOUR worshipers.
Praise, honour and glory to the MOST HOLY ONE, YESHUA - the LIGHT OF THE
WORLD, our greatest joy!
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Time is GOD'S way of preventing everything from happening all at once.
BEING THANKFUL
"Enter HIS gates with praise and thanksgiving, HIS courts with
acclamation. Praise Him! Be thankful to HIM! Bless HIS Name!" [Psalms
(Tehillym) 100. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
The majority of occurrences of the word thankful or thanks in the OLD
COVENANT are translated from the Hebrew word "yadah" which means to hold
out the hand, to extend an empty hand, revere, or worship with extended
hands.
A truly thankful person is one who has come to grips with certain
realities about his need before the GREAT GOD of all flesh. The
ALMIGHTY ONE commands us to be thankful. It was a duty given to the
Levitical priests "to be present every morning to praise and extol the
LORD, and at evening too." [1 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 23. 30
Tanakh, Kethuvim] When the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE, brought the
Israelites back to Jerusalem in the times of Nehemiah "he began with
thanksgiving, with prayer and praise" [Nehemiah/Nechemah 11. 17] and the
Levites "led the thanksgiving psalms and songs." [Nehemiah (Nechemah)
12. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
The Hebrew word used by the OLD COVENANT writers is a picture of one
holding out an empty, thankful hand to the ETERNAL ONE. There is
nothing we can bring to GOD that causes HIM to bless us. Our empty
hands picture our inadequacy to accomplish the will of the EVERLASTING
FATHER (in our own strength), or to provide for our own needs or the
needs of others.
The prophet Jonah "prayed to the LORD his GOD from the belly of the
fish" [Jonah/Yonah 2. 1] and even in this loathsome dilemma proclaimed,
"but I, with loud THANKSGIVING, will sacrifice to YOU; what I have vowed
I will perform. Salvation is of the LORD." [Jonah (Yonah) 2. 9 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]
Nebuchadnezzar had to learn this lesson. Although he had been warned to
repent of his arrogant, boastful, self-importance he still uttered,
"There is great Babylon, which I have built by my vast power to be a
royal residence for the glory of my majesty!" [Daniel (Danyel) 4. 30
Tanakh, Kethuvim] This great king was driven out by OMNIPOTENT GOD and
caused to eat grass "like the cattle and beasts of the field" -- and
when his senses returned, Nebuchadnezzar realized that even a mighty
king's hands are empty unless the MIGHTY KING of kings fills them.
In our generation, people deny their dependency upon their MAJESTIC
HEAVENLY CREATOR. "Because that, when they knew GOD, they glorified HIM
not as GOD, neither were thankful; but became vain in their
imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened." [Romans 1. 21]
Our witness to this darkened world is to live with the reality of our
own empty hands extended in thankfulness to "THE ONE" WHO supplies all
our needs. "O LORD, YOU open YOUR hand, they (and we) are well
satisfied." [Psalms (Tehillym) 104. 28 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
We give thanks with a grateful heart remembering and praising our
ALMIGHTY CREATOR. To those who know the SAVIOUR thanksgiving and worship
are our way of life every day. HEAVENLY FATHER, teach us to emulate
YOUR oWN grace and mercy. Cause YOUR truth to fall upon our hearts like
seed upon fertile ground. And, may we learn to love YOUR Law ever more
deeply and to find in it the beauty of holiness. Amen
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Post  Admin Mon 22 Nov 2010, 2:02 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Let us remember to not only pray for the peace of Jerusalem, but model
that peace in our own lives.
ISRAEL FORGIVEN & DEFENDED
"For I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem for war: The City shall
be captured, the houses plundered, and the women violated; and part of
the city shall go into exile. But the rest of the population shall not
be uprooted from the City (Jerusalem). On that day, HE (MESSIAH YESHUA)
will set HIS feet on the Mount of Olives, near Jerusalem on the East;
and the Mount of Olives shall split across from east to west, and one
part of the Mount shall shift to the north and the other to the south, a
huge gorge...And the LORD my GOD, with all the holy beings, will come to
you (Jerusalem). And the LORD shall be KING over all the earth; in that
day there shall be one LORD with ONE NAME; the LORD alone shall be
worshipped (and shall be invoked by HIS TRUE NAME)." [Zechariah
(Zecharyah) 14. 2, 4, 5-b, 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
"In that day I will all but annihilate all the nations that came up
against Jerusalem. But I will fill the House of David and the
inhabitants of Jerusalem with a SPIRIT of pity and compassion; and they
will look on ME WHOM they have pierced; they shall lament BECAUSE [see
Revelation 1.7] of ME about those who are slain, wailing over them as
over a favorite son and showing bitter grief as over a first-born. In
that day, the wailing in Jerusalem shall be as great as the wailing at
Hadad-Rimmon in the plain of Megiddon." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 12. 9 -
11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
"In that day a fountain shall be opened to the House of David and the
inhabitants of Jerusalem for purging and cleansing. And when one asked,
'What are those sores and wounds on YOUR back?' HE will reply, 'From
being beaten in the house of MY friends.'" [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 13. 1,
6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
When the nations of the world center their attack on the Jews at
Jerusalem, the LORD JESUS will return to earth to defend Israel against
her enemies for the last time, "Like birds flying about, so will the
LORD OF HOSTS defend Jerusalem. Defending, HE will also deliver it;
Passing Over, HE will preserve it." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 31. 5 NKJV] "Like
the birds that fly, even so will the LORD OF HOSTS shield Jerusalem,
shielding and saving, protecting and rescuing." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 31. 5
Tanakh, Nevi'im] This will be literally fulfilled when MESSIAH YESHUA
returns as KING of kings and LORD of lords with the armies of heaven as
described in Revelation. [see Revelation 19. 11 - 16]
The LONG-AWAITED LORD JESUS will reveal HIMSELF to these Jews who had
been blinded as to HIS MESSIAH-ship. The REDEEMER will identify HIMSELF
as the "LORD OF GLORY" through the marks of the wounds in HIS hands and
HIS feet. JESUS, the CHRIST OF CALVARY will forgive those who repent
of their sin; HE will judge the nations who mistreated Israel; HE will
establish HIS Kingdom on the earth with all HIS saints (Jew & Gentile
from every tribe, tongue and nation), to rule and reign forever! Even
so, come quickly, my LORD & KING!
Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
MOST HOLY ONE, YOU are blessed beyond all hymns, praises & consolations
that may be uttered in this world. May peace abundant descend from
heaven with life for us and to all Israel.
May our HEAVENLY FATHER hear our prayers. . . that our long-awaited
MESSIAH, YESHUA - THE SON OF DAVID, KING of kings comes quickly. And,
may YOUR Holy Temple be rebuilt speedily, even in our day. Amen & Amen!
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Woe! to the generation whose judges need to be judged!
THE WORD – CREATOR & JUDGE
"YOU alone are the LORD. YOU made the heavens, the highest heaven of
heavens, and all their host, the earth and everything upon it, the seas
and everything in them. YOU keep them all alive, and the host of heaven
prostrate themselves in worship before YOU." [Nehemiah (Nechemah) 9. 6
Tanakh, Kethuvim]
The WORD is none other then MESSIAH LORD YESHUA, the PRECIOUS LIVING
WORD WHO became flesh. "In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was
with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. HE was in the beginning with GOD. All
things were made through HIM, and without HIM nothing was made that was
made. In HIM was life, and the life was the light of men." [John 1. 1 -
4]
"Thus says the LORD, your REDEEMER, WHO formed you in the womb: "It is
I, the LORD ALMIGHTY, WHO made everything, WHO alone stretched out the
heavens with none beside Me, I spread out the earth by Myself."
[Isaiah/Yeshayah 44. 24 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
"Whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that
we through the patience and comfort of the SCRIPTURES might have hope."
[Romans 15. 4] "For it is GOD WHO commanded light to shine out of
darkness, WHO has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge
of the Glory of GOD in the face of JESUS THE CHRIST." [2 Corinthians 4.
6] "GOD, WHO at various times and in various ways spoke in time past
to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by
HIS SON, WHOM HE has appointed HEIR of all things, through WHOM also HE
made the worlds; WHO being the brightness of HIS Glory and the EXPRESS
IMAGE of HIS PERSON, and upholding all things by the WORD of HIS power,
when HE had by HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of
the MAJESTY on high." [Hebrews 1. 1 - 3]
The same WORD WHO spoke worlds into existence will also destroy all
opposition to HIS SOVEREIGNTY by HIS SPOKEN WORD. "As for those peoples
that warred against Jerusalem, the LORD will smite them with this
plague: Their flesh shall rot away while they stand on their feet; their
eyes shall rot away in their sockets; and their tongues shall rot away
in their mouths...So shall this plague be." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 14.
12 - 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
This is accomplished by the SPOKEN WORD OF GOD, "And I saw the beast,
the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war
against HIM WHO sat on the horse and against HIS army. Then the beast
was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his
presence, by which he deceived those who received the Mark of the Beast
and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the
Lake of Fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the
sword which proceeded from the mouth of HIM WHO sat on the horse. And
all the birds were filled with their flesh." [Revelation 19. 19 - 21]
Since the WORD is the HOLY ONE to WHOM we will all give account, it is
both expedient and imperative that we take care how we live and treat
the WORD today. Accept HIS life, HIS love, HIS peace and His
righteousness. The beloved YESHUA ha'MASHIACH desires to give you
all this, IF you but let HIM be your LORD & SAVIOUR.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Shabbas, our prayer is that GOD, WHO separates the
holy from the secular, forgive our sins, guide our life, fill our
upcoming week with HIS DIVINE PRESENCE. And, that you taste some of the
sweetness of Sabbath each day.
Tov Shavua (have a good week)! Purify your heart by faith. We commend
you to the LORD on WHOM you believe knowing that GOD'S answers are wiser
than our prayers.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Post  Admin Sat 20 Nov 2010, 2:41 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Suffering is always a preparation for greatness.
THANKFUL BEYOND MEASURE
"In everything give thanks; for this is the will of GOD in CHRIST JESUS
for you." [1 Thessalonians 5. 18]
This can be one of the most challenging passages in HOLY SCRIPTURE when
suffering and adversity surrounds us. Yet it is a command along with
supporting instructions: "Be filled with the SPIRIT...giving thanks
always above all things to GOD THE FATHER in the name of our LORD JESUS
CHRIST." [Ephesians 5. 18, 20] "Rejoice in the LORD always. Again I will
say, REJOICE! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The LORD is at
hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and
supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to GOD;
and the peace of GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your
hearts and minds through MESSIAH YESHUA." [Philippians 4. 4 - 7]
Even in tribulation we are to be thankful and give glory to our LOVING
LORD GOD, "glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces
perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope." [Romans
5. 3 - 4] This is done by faith alone, following the perfect example of
the HUMBLED & EXALTED MAN OF SORROWS. "Let this mind be in you which was
also in CHRIST JESUS." [Philippians 2. 5]
No matter the trials we must endure, we will never have to suffer as did
THE GALILEAN when HE, "for the joy that was set before HIM endured the
cross, despising the shame." [Hebrews 12. 2] We are instructed in the
OLD COVENANT, "If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied
you, then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace,
in which you trusted, they wearied you, then how will you do in the
floodplain of the Jordan?" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 12. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Simply stated. . . if a little pain overcomes you, how can you endure
the cross?
"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us
a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look
at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For
the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not
seen are eternal." [2 Corinthians 4. 1 - 18] Knowing the just shall
live by faith, we should not hide ourselves in times of trouble from the
MIGHTY INTERCESSOR.
And through faith, we can face any situation knowing they are in
accordance to HIS OWN purpose and grace. Then we, who are loved with
GOD'S inestimable everlasting love know with full assurance, it is GOD
WHO works all things out for our good, for those who love HIM. [Romans
8. 28]
So we can rejoice more and more giving thanks and praise continually to
the TRUE & LIVING GOD WHO not only loves us, but does all things
amazingly and beyond measure.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Welcome Sabbath! For the TORAH, for the privilege of worship, for the
prophets, and for this Sabbath Day, given us for sanctification and
rest, for honour and for glory, let us thank and bless the LORD our
GREAT GOD! When the invisible hand of our MAGNIFICENTLY WONDERFUL
OMNIPOTENT GOD guides our lives and we are more then blessed, as we live
each moment for HIS glory and praise. Be enveloped in HIS riches this
Sabbath in peace and harmony as you glorify and praise our MIGHTY KING.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving – from our home to yours!
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
He who has butter on his head should not walk in the sun.
POWERFUL WORD
"And they were astonished at HIS (YESHUA) teaching, for HIS WORD was
with authority (power)." [Luke 4. 32]
The WORD OF GOD is indeed full of power, whether it is spoken by MESSIAH
YESHUA or written in HOLY SCRIPTURE. There are many and varied physical
similarities used to characterize and emphasize its power. "This is the
WORD OF THE LORD: Not by might, nor by power, but by MY SPIRIT- said the
LORD OF HOSTS." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 4. 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Consider these SCRIPTURAL PASSAGES: "Behold, MY WORD is like fire -
declares the LORD - and like a hammer that shatters rock!" [Jeremiah
(Yirmeyah) 23. 29 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Then when Jeremiah became weary of
the negative reaction against his preaching he said, "I thought, 'I will
not mention HIM, no more will I speak in HIS NAME." But HIS WORD was
like a raging fire in my heart, shut up in my bones; I could not hold it
in, I was helpless." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 20. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
"Assuredly, thus says the LORD, the GOD OF HOSTS: Because you said that,
I am putting MY WORDS into your mouth as fire, and this people shall be
firewood, that will consume them." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 5. 14 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]
GOD'S WORD is also called a SHARP SWORD brandished by the HOLY SPIRIT.
"HE made my mouth like a sharpened sword; HE hid me in the shadow of HIS
hand, and HE made me like a polished arrow; HE concealed me in HIS
quiver." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 49. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] As part of the
CHRISTian's spiritual armor, we are urged to take "the SWORD OF THE
SPIRIT, which is the WORD OF GOD" [Ephesians 6. 17], so we can "fight
the good fight of faith" thus "lay hold on eternal life." [1 Timothy 6.
12] "For the WORD OF GOD is living and powerful, and sharper than any
two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and
of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of
the heart. And there is no creature hidden from HIS sight, but all
things are naked and open to the eyes of HIM to WHOM we must give
account." [Hebrews 4. 12 - 13]
The PRECIOUS HOLY WORD OF GOD is, more significantly, compared to light
which is the most essential form of energy, force, or power. "YOUR WORD
is a lamp to my feet, a light to my path." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 105
Tanakh, Kethuvim] "The exposition of YOUR WORD gives light, and grants
understanding to the simple." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 130 Tanakh,
Kethuvim] Our INIMITABLE (unique, one-and-only) CREATOR'S first
recorded words were, "Let there be light." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 3
Tanakh, Torah]
No power anywhere can compare to the power of the WORDS of the HOLY ONE
WHO is HIMSELF the LIVING WORD OF GOD, the LORD YESHUA OF NAZARETH; for
HE is the ONE "WHO being the brightness of HIS glory and the EXPRESS
IMAGE of HIS PERSON, upholds all things by the WORD OF HIS POWER, when
HE had by HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the
MAJESTY ON HIGH." [Hebrews 1. 3]
Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
NAME.
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The challenge in parenting is to be who we would have our children
become.
FIRSTBORN
"HE (JESUS) is the IMAGE of the INVISIBLE GOD, the FIRST-BORN over all
creation." [Colossians 1. 15]
Here the word first-born (Hebrew: bekowr) does not always mean "born
first" -- but more often means "position" in HOLY SCRIPTURE. "He
(David) shall say to ME, 'YOU are my FATHER, my GOD, the ROCK of my
deliverance. ' I will appoint him MY first-born, highest of the kings of
the earth." [Psalms (Tehillym) 89. 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim] David was the
eighth son of Iyshay (Jesse), not his first born, Eliab was. [1
Samuel/Shemuel Alef 17. 13]
Ephraim was the second born son of Joseph, Manasseh being the first.
Nevertheless, Ephraim is called the firstborn by SOVEREIGN GOD: "I am
ever a FATHER to Israel, Ephraim is MY first-born." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah)
31. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Furthermore, "Hosah of the Merarites had sons: Shimri the first (he was
not the first-born, but his father designated him the first)." [1
Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 26. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The HOLY WORD
even calls a whole nation, a race of people first-born : "Then you shall
say to Pharaoh, 'Thus says the LORD: Israel is MY first-born son.'"
[Exodus (Shemot) 4. 22 Tanakh, Torah]
The PIERCED ONE, MESSIAH YESHUA is "the LORD WHO stretches out the
heavens, made firm the foundation of the earth, and created the spirit
of man within him." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 12. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Thus
said the LORD, your REDEEMER, WHO formed you from the womb: 'It is I,
the LORD, WHO made everything, WHO created the heavens and stretched
them out, WHO spread out the earth and what it brings forth, WHO gave
breath to the people upon it and life to those who walk thereon by
MYSELF." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 44. 24; 42. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "All things
were made through HIM, and without HIM nothing was made that was made."
[John 1. 3]
YESHUA ha'MASHIACH was called the "FIRST-BORN" because in HIM we have
"redemption through HIS blood, the forgiveness of sins. HE IS THE IMAGE
OF THE INVISIBLE GOD, THE FIRSTBORN OVER ALL CREATION. For by HIM all
things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible
and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.
ALL THINGS were created through HIM and for HIM. HE is before all
things, and in HIM all things consist. And HE is the HEAD of the body,
the church, WHO is the beginning, the FIRSTBORN from the dead. That in
all things HE may have the PREEMINENCE. " [Colossians 1. 14 - 18]
GOD THE FATHER, WHO spoke of HIS FIRSTBORN SON, WHOM HE appointed HEIR
of all things, "YOU are MY SON, today I have begotten YOU...I will be a
FATHER to HIM, and HE shall be MY SON...When HE again brings the
FIRSTBORN into the world, HE says, 'Let all the angels of GOD worship
HIM...YOUR Throne, O GOD, is forever and ever; a scepter of
righteousness is the scepter of YOUR Kingdom. YOU have loved
righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore GOD, YOUR GOD, has
anointed YOU with the oil of gladness...YOU are the same, your years
will not fail...Sit at MY right hand, till I make YOUR enemies YOUR
footstool." [Hebrews 1. 1 - 13]
As believers in the LORD YESHUA, we are called HIS first-born. And, by
HIS hand we are registered in heaven since we have been made just and
perfect by "HIS redeeming blood." [Hebrews 12. 23] Throughout eternity
we will praise our LORD JESUS, the BELOVED, the "FAITHFUL WITNESS, the
FIRSTBORN from the dead." [Revelation 1. 5] All hail KING JESUS, for
HE is altogether worthy of blessings, and honour, and riches, and power,
and wisdom, and strength, and glory forever and ever. Amen & Amen!
Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Shalom! We are covering you with our prayers for many abundant blessings
this day and always! May the GOD OF HOPE fill you with all joy and peace
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 33 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Wed 17 Nov 2010, 7:14 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
You are only young once, but many are immature indefinitely.
ATHEISTS & UNBELIEVERS
"The fool thinks, 'There is no GOD' or 'GOD does not care.' Man's deeds
and wrongdoing is corrupt and loathsome; no one does good." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 14. 1; 53. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "The wicked crows about his
unbridled lusts; the grasping man reviles and scorns the LORD. The
wicked benighted, arrogant as he is, in all his scheming thinks, 'HE
does not call to account; GOD does not care, there is no GOD.'" [Psalms
(Tehillym) 10. 3 - 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
The Hebrew word for fool used in these passages is nabal - meaning the
lowest of depraved fools for they are senseless, GOD-denying, stupid,
wicked and vile. For many years now, we have bowed to atheists feelings
of antagonism against any public expression of our faith in the only
TRUE GOD, MASTER CREATOR of the Heavens and the Earth. However,
CHRISTians are commanded to express their faith as the LORD YESHUA
intended to, "go into all the world and preach the gospel to every
creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does
not believe will be condemned." [Mark 16. 15 - 16]
The foolish atheists have demand that we followers-of- CHRIST, must
quietly show "tolerance and respect" for their expressions of their
religious belief...that there is no HOLY GOD. However, HOLY SCRIPTURE
clearly state that IF we remain tolerant or silent, the stones and
rocks would cry out. [Luke 19. 40] Beyond doubt, THERE IS A SUPREME
GOD and we should obey HIM, not man. Declaring the glory of the
ALMIGHTY ONE is not only our right, but it is our spiritual duty to our
MIGHTY KING, the GREAT LORD GOD OF HOSTS.
A sufficient word to atheists, agnostics and unbelievers : Now is a
good time to reconsider your position of belief. "Behold, now is the
accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." [2 Corinthians 6.
2] I implore you, examine and re-examine the infallible evidence, and
reconsider the risk pertaining to the end result! The evidence is
overwhelming and convincingly compelling for the one who is truly
looking. Looking at it from a conscientious standpoint, it makes sense
to consider the subject worthy of careful evaluation. IF you are right
and there is no RIGHTEOUS, AWESOME GOD WHO is a JEALOUS GOD OF JUSTICE,
then when your life is over, you simply cease to exist.
However, if you are wrong and GOD'S HOLY WORD is correct, there is, in
truth, an OMNIPOTENT CREATOR GOD WHO has revealed HIMSELF to mankind
throughout the ages. A LOVING CREATOR WHO provided verifiable evidence
of HIS existence, revealed HIS will for mankind, expressed HIS
intentions toward us for the present times and for all ages. Also the
ALMIGHTY showed us the eternal destiny HE has established. Hence,
there is certain and just basis to call your attention to the fact that
it is indisputably wise to CONSIDER the EVIDENCE. Do not risk your
soul! The cost is too great as your eternal destiny will be the Lake of
Fire!
There is a hope of Heaven to gain, and there is a Hell to avoid in
fear. Because the HOLY ONE has such a great love for you, HE has
revealed the TRUTH and the ONLY WAY for all mankind to receive
salvation, and it is recorded in HIS HOLY WORD. YESHUA is our FREE
GIFT, if we would only receive HIM.
Many atheists, skeptics and believers alike have made the statement. .
."If there is a LOVING GOD, how could HE allow this (Holocaust,
bombings, terrorists, abortion, euthanasia, famine, etc.) to happen."
The answer is simple: If you knew the MERCIFUL CREATOR OF HOLY WRIT you
would understand that HE allows mankind to make choices and do their
utmost evil. Then, HE can be the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, WHO HE is, and not be
a manipulator, as some also claim. There is nothing our GREAT & MIGHTY
GOD has not done!
GOD ETERNAL not only told us the truth, but HE also provided "THE
ANSWER" for our sin problem and for unbelief. HE alone has solved the
dilemma which we find ourselves in, by paying the penalty for our sins
with HIS OWN LIFE. That ANSWER is GOD'S ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, JESUS
CHRIST WHO died and provided the blood that GOD THE FATHER uses to cover
our sins, and to impute the righteousness of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH to
the record of our lives. This is the hope and confidence we have to
stand before LORD JESUS on the Day of Judgment.
The advantages of being a disciple of CHRIST (in truth...not verbal or
mere pretense) are too remarkable and wonderfully compelling to ignore
- well worth looking into. Then, you too may find peace of mind and
peace with the world around you. "Taste and see how good the LORD is;
blessed is the man who trusts and takes refuge in HIM!" [Psalms
(Tehillym) 34. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The ALL-MERCIFUL GOD promised, and
HE cannot lie, that for those who seek HIM, HE will be found by them.
That is HIS heart's desire. But, you must seek the DIVINE MASTER in
sincerity and truth.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
"There were fools who suffered for their sinful way, and for their
iniquities. All food was loathsome to them; they reached the gates of
death. In their adversity they cried to the LORD and HE saved them from
their troubles. HE sent HIS WORD and healed them; HE delivered them from
the pits of death. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for HIS
steadfast love, HIS wondrous deeds for mankind" [Psalms/Tehillym
107. 17–21 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.
