A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The issue is not what is believed or what is practiced — Jew and Gentile alike will be judged by how well they followed ALMIGHTY GOD'S commands.

MESSIAH REVEALED TO ISRAEL
From HOLY SCRIPTURE, we can see that when the nations of the world center their attack on the Jewish people in Jerusalem , the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH will return to earth to defend Israel against her enemies for the last time. HE will reveal HIMSELF to those who had been blinded as to HIS MESSIAH-ship. YESHUA will identify HIMSELF as the "LORD OF GLORY" through the marks of the wounds in HIS hands and HIS feet, HE will forgive those who repent of their sin. Also, the RIGHTEOUS ONE will judge the nations who mistreated Israel, and HE will establish HIS Kingdom on the Restored Earth with all HIS saints (both Jews & Gentiles), and rule and reign forever! Even so, "come quickly, LORD JESUS!"

"For I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem for war; the city shall be captured, the houses plundered, and the women violated; and a part of the City shall go into exile. But the remnant of the people shall not be uprooted from the City...Then the LORD will come forth and make war on those nations as HE fights in the day of battle. On that day, HE will set HIS feet on the Mount of Olives, near Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives shall split across from east to west making a very large gorge. Half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south. Thus the LORD my GOD will come and all the saints will come with HIM. And the LORD shall be KING over all the earth. In that day the LORD alone shall be worshipped and shall be invoked by HIS TRUE NAME." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 14. 2, 4 - 5b, 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"In that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come up against Jerusalem. But I will fill on the House of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem with the SPIRIT OF GRACE & COMPASSION; then they will look on ME WHOM they have pierced and lament because of ME about those who are slain, wailing over them as one mourns over his favorite son, and showing bitter grief as over a firstborn. In that day the great wailing in Jerusalem shall be as great as the wailing at Hadad-Rimmon in the Plain of Megiddo." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 12. 9 - 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im] {Hadad-Rimmon means "mighty of the pomegranates" it is a place in the Valley of Megiddo where a national lamentation was held for the death of King Josiah.}

"In that day a fountain shall be open to the House of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for purging and for cleansing. In that day, too — declares the LORD OF HOSTS — I will cut off the very names of the idols from the land; they shall not be uttered any more. And I will also make the prophets and the unclean spirits vanish from the land. If anyone prophesies thereafter, his own father and mother, who brought him into the world, will say to him, "You shall die, for you have lied in the NAME OF THE LORD" — and his own father and mother, who brought him into the world, will put him to death when he prophesies. In that day, every prophet will be ashamed of the visions he had when he prophesied. In order to deceive, they will not wear a hairy mantle (emulating Elijah) and he will declare — I am not a prophet, I was addicted to wine like Noah, the tiller of the soil, hence my hallucinations and ravings. — And one shall ask — What are those wounds on YOUR back and in YOUR hands? HE will reply — From being beaten in the house of MY friends." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 13. 1 - 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The promise of salvation the MOST HOLY LORD GOD made to the remnant of Israel will be fulfilled just as HE declared: "And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The DELIVERER will come out of Zion, and HE will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; for this is MY covenant with them when I take away their sins." [Romans 11. 26 - 27] "HE WHO testifies to these things says — Surely I am coming quickly." [Revelation 22. 20] Even so, come quickly LORD JESUS!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We praise YOU, MOST HOLY GOD and ask that YOUR PRESENCE be manifest to us in all YOUR works, so that reverence for YOU may fill the hearts of YOUR creatures. May all the children of men bow before YOU in humility and unite to do YOUR will with one heart, that all may acknowledge that YOURS alone is the power, dominion and majesty; and that YOUR NAME is exalted above all.
Baruch Attah ADONI... ELEHENU MELECH ha Olam — "Blessed is the LORD our GOD...KING of the Universe
Asher natan lanu et DERECH ha'YASHUA — WHO brings us THE WAY OF SALVATION.
ba'MACHIACH YESHUAH. — By the CHRIST, JESUS (Holy Anointed One).
Baruch HU! — Blessed is HE!"

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
GOD hides HIMSELF in HIS manifestations and shows HIMSELF in HIS concealments.

CUTTING OF THE COVENANT
"When the sun set and it was very dark, there appeared a Smoking OVEN, and a Flaming TORCH which passed between those pieces. On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram." [Genesis (Bereshith) 15. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Torah]

EL ELYON, GOD MOST HIGH promised Abram that he and his descendants would inherit the land of Israel. When Abram asked the LORD GOD how he would know this for certain, the ALMIGHTY ONE commanded Abram — "Bring ME a three-year-old heifer, a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove, and a young pigeon." When Abram brought them, he cut them in two — down the middle — and placed each piece opposite the other, except the birds were not cut in half. [Genesis (Bereshith) 15. 8 - 10 Tanakh, Torah]

This "cutting of the covenant" was prepared by Abram; but entered into by the great SOVEREIGN GOD alone in the form of a SMOKING OVEN (Hebrew: 'ashan tannuwr) and FLAMING TORCH (Hebrew: 'esh lappiyd), ALMIGHTY GOD passed between the sacrificed animals. Abram did not pass between them, as a great horror and darkness fell upon him and he fell into a deep sleep during that time. [Genesis/Bereshith 15. 12]

The HOLY ONE knows man's weakness and that HE (ALMIGHTY GOD) alone would remain faithful. This is an "unconditional blood covenant" called in Hebrew the "karat berit." When the COVENANT MAKER made the promise to Abraham, "because HE could swear by no one greater, HE swore by HIMSELF...determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of HIS counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for GOD to lie." [Hebrews 6. 13 - 18]

To understand the importance of the consequence in the "cutting of the covenant" one needs to realize first that, a covenant is entered into between at least two people. If either party breaks the covenant, that which happened to the sacrificial animals is what will happen to the one who breaks the covenant. Therefore, in HIS great mercy, GOD caused Abram to fall asleep while HE took on the entire responsibility for both parties. "And now, O ADONAI YEHOWAH, YOU are ELOHIYM and YOUR WORDS will surely come true, and YOU have made this gracious promise to YOUR servant." [2 Samuel (Shemuel Bet) 7. 28 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Our EXCEEDINGLY WONDERFUL GOD is faithful throughout time. Again as the PILLAR OF CLOUD (Hebrew: 'ammuwd 'aanan) and the PILLAR OF FIRE (Hebrew: 'ammuwd 'esh), HE led the Israelites day and night bringing them out of Egypt and through the wilderness. [Exodus/Shemot 13. 21] In HIS manifold mercies, the MAJESTIC GOD OF ISRAEL did not forsake HIS people, ever going before them to give them light and show the way they should go in spite of the fact that they sinned against HIM continually with their much murmurings, complainings, and making of the golden calf. The SOVEREIGN HOLY ONE was continually present, even in their times of rest, "over the Tabernacle a CLOUD OF THE LORD rested by day, and FIRE would appear in the CLOUD by night, in the view of all the House of Israel throughout their journeys." [Exodus (Shemot) 40. 38 Tanakh, Torah]

We look forward to the day when the HIGH & EXALTED ONE again becomes the Pillar and Fire, "When the LORD has washed away the filth of the Daughter Zion, and from Jerusalem's midst has rinsed out her infamy — in a spirit of judgment and in a spirit of purging — the LORD will create and spread over the whole shrine and meeting place of Mount Zion, a CLOUD by day and SMOKE with a glow of FLAMING FIRE by night. Indeed, over all the glory of HIS whole shrine shall hang a canopy which shall serve as a pavilion for shade from heat by day and as a shelter for protection against drenching rain or storm." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 4. 4 - 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im] The GREAT GOD OF PRESENCE will fulfill HIS promises to us, performing HIS WORD, and completing HIS Covenant.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
O LORD GOD Almighty, YOU direct the destinies of men and nations according to YOUR wisdom and justice. Happy and most blessed is the man who forgets YOU not, for he who seeks YOU will not stumble, and he who trusts in YOU will not be put to shame.
May you receive blessings in abundance as you wholly trust and fellowship with the GOD your LOVING CREATOR & SUSTAINER.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Don’t use money to measure wealth.

IN EXCHANGE
"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" [Matthew 16. 26 - 27]

The lives of many people revolve around money, entertainment, and ordinary living never stopping to realize that it is their soul that is most important…Where one will spend eternity. Some would even brag that they would exchange their soul for the imagined blessings of the great god, Mammon (wealth, money). "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." [1 Timothy 6. 10]

Similarly, countless are those who are greatly excited about their monthly profit-and-loss; but the LORD YESHUA asks whether there is really a profit, even if one acquires the wealth of the world and loose his own soul, the answer to such questions has to be — "NO!" For "the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of GOD abides forever." [1 John 2. 17] "Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: For the heavens will vanish away like smoke, and the earth will grow old like a garment, and those who inhabit it will die like gnats. But MY salvation will be forever, My righteousness will not be abolished." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 51. 6 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

To lose one’s soul is to lose one’s life, for they are inseparable. Consequently, a life centered on money, wealth, or fame is not only a soul eternally lost, but a life wasted as well. "He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life." [John 12. 25] In contrast, if we lose our lives in MESSIAH, then we find true life, abundant life, eternal life beginning here and now, then continuing gloriously forever with our LORD & KING. Now, that is a great exchange.

At times GOD blesses the follower of MESSIAH YESHUA with material wealth, but that should never be one’s motive to follow HIM. The Apostle Paul says, "Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the LIVING GOD, WHO gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life." [1 Timothy 3. 17 - 19]

Genuine and sincere followers of the LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH must be on guard careful to avoid false teachers {"contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints." [Jude 3]} and greedy motives, pursuing instead righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and the gentleness that befits a saint of GOD.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE dwells within us, bless you abundantly. And, may peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel, Amen
LORD GOD MOST HIGH, YOU are my praise and my glory! Help us LORD, to break down the barriers which keep us from YOU. . . falsehood & faithlessness, callousness & selfishness, injustice & hard-heartedness. Thank YOU for YOUR tender mercies and YOUR amazing love. Hasten the day that we may behold the glory of YOUR might, when the world will be perfected under the Kingdom of YOU, our ALMIGHTY GOD & KING.
Watch and pray, the LORD Messiah YESHUA is coming soon to set up HIS Kingdom. The descendants of HIS servants shall inherit it, and those who love HIS NAME shall dwell in it. May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be present throughout the week.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
In Israel , in order to be a realist, you must believe in miracles.

WISDOM AT CREATION
"I (DIVINE WISDOM) was there when HE (MIGHTY WORD) set the heavens into place; when HE fixed the horizon upon the deep; when HE made the heavens above firm, and the fountains of the deep gushed forth." [Proverbs (Mishle) 8. 27 - 28 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

DIVINE WISDOM, is speaking here. This is an awe-inspiring description of some of CREATOR GOD'S handiworks when, through YESHUA the SECOND PERSON in the TRINITY, HE was creating and making all things.

Proverbs 8:27 speaks of the pre-existence of JESUS before the creation of space, time, and universe itself. The earth was "without form" with only a great mass of water, rock and mud. Then GOD OMNIPOTENT "set a compass" on the face of the deep, began the gravitational forces which brought it into a sphere form. The Hebrew word "chuwg" means compass, sphere. It is the same word where it is said that the HOLY ONE "enthroned above the circle (sphere, vault) of the earth." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 40. 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Then the MIGHTY CREATOR "established the clouds above." This cloud, thin mists or vapor would refer to the great water canopy "above the expanse." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 7 Tanakh, Torah] Finally, the MASTER DESIGNER strengthened the fountains of the deep, locking them under the "foundations of the earth." [Proverbs (Mishle) 8. 29 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The same strong fountains of the deep would later be broken up at the time of the Great Flood. When the earth was completed, ALMIGHTY GOD "rejoiced in HIS inhabited world." [Proverbs (Mishle) 8. 31 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"Now sons, listen to me (Wisdom & Understanding) — Happy are they who keep my ways. Heed discipline and become wise; do not spurn it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, coming early to my gates each day, waiting outside my doors. For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the LORD, but he who misses me destroys himself; all who hate me love death." [Proverbs (Mishle) 8. 32 - 36 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Wisdom comes as we incline our ear to our MASTER'S VOICE, apply HIS LIFE-GIVING WORD to our lives for understanding, revere the LORD GOD OF HOSTS and keep HIS commandments. GREAT is the GOD OF CREATION! GREAT is HIS wisdom! GREAT is HIS love regarding the sons of man expressed in the beloved LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH our REDEEMER & SAVIOR.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Welcoming Sabbath! Exulted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world of YOUR creation. May YOUR will be fulfilled and YOUR SOVEREIGNTY revealed in the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel speedily and in our time, Amen May YOU be blessed forever, even to all eternity. May YOU, MOST HOLY ONE, be blessed, praised & honored, extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above all else. Blessed are YOU, ALMIGHTY LORD beyond all blessings & hymns, praises & consolations that may be uttered in this world, Amen. May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel, Amen.
We praise YOU, O LORD GOD, for great is YOUR love for us and YOUR compassion boundless. Be gracious to us that we may understand and fulfill the teachings of YOUR REVERED WORD. Enlighten our eyes in YOUR Law that we may cling to YOUR commandments. Thank YOU for YOUR saving power, for from YOU comes our help. Draw us nearer to YOU to serve YOU in faithfulness. Joyfully, we worship You.
Enjoy a blessed day of rest with your loved ones as you esteem the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL together.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Inevitably, whoever attempts to delude (deceives) the MASTER CREATOR, deludes (lies to) himself. For greater, and more exalted, and majestic is GOD MOST HIGH.

ONE DAY AS A THOUSAND YEARS
"For in YOUR sight a thousand years are like yesterday that has past, like a watch of the night." [Psalms (Tehillym) 90. 4Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This is confirmed in the NEW COVENANT, for the Apostle Peter also writes of the thousand years to the LORD as being but a day — "Beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the LORD one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." [2 Peter 3. 8]

Here Peter is informing us that the DESIGNER OF THE UNIVERSE can do in one day what might, by natural processes, take a thousand years. Thus, condemning those who teach divisive evolutionary progression (science) that imagine the earth is billions of years old. However, GOD, the ONE WHO did the creating made it perfectly clear — "in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that are in them, and rested the seventh day." [Exodus (Shemot) 20. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

The HOLY SCRIPTURES warn against those who are willingly ignorant, for there is tremendous significance of the historical facts of creation and the flood. Peter again records that there will be mockery in the last days before the return of the LORD JESUS, "scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying — Where is the promise of HIS coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation. — For this they willfully forget: that by the WORD OF GOD the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men." [2 Peter 3. 3 – 7]

Man’s records only go back a few thousand years, and to attempt to calculate any date before that requires use of a premise which, in context, the SCRIPTURES have just condemned! GOD foretold the willingness of wicked and willingly ignorant men then urges those who believe HIS WRITTEN WORD not to be ignorant, but believe what was written for our understanding.

Truthfully, the only way we can know the timing and duration of creation is for the MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE to tell us, and HE says HE made all of Heaven and Earth in six days, and that not so many years ago! "One thing GOD has spoken; twice I have heard this — that power and might belongs to GOD, and faithfulness is YOURS, O LORD." [Psalm (Tehillym) 62. 11 – 12a Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Indeed, let GOD be true but every man a liar." [Romans 3. 4] So, who will you believe: GOD — the AUTHOR & FINISHER, or man?

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Open your mouth in holiness and purity, with song and psalm, and bless and praise, glorify and revere, sanctify and ascribe sovereignty to the NAME of the DIVINE KING, the GREAT, MIGHTY & AWESOME ONE. . . holy is HE. Take upon yourself the yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven and give sanction to one another to bless the CREATOR. In tranquil joy of spirit, with pure speech and holy melody exclaim: Holy, holy, holy is the LORD OF HOSTS, the whole earth is full of HIS glory.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The task ahead of us is never as great as the POWER behind us.

THE LAVER (Part 2 — Conclusion)
"The LORD spoke to Moses saying — Make a laver of copper and a stand of copper for it, for washing; and place it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar. Put water in it." [Exodus (Shemot) 30. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Torah]

The Foot is the foundation upon which the Laver stands. All the foundations of the Tabernacle furniture picture the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA (seen in Matthew as the KING, Mark as the SERVANT, Luke as the MAN, John as the EAGLE), there is no other foundation! Time and again, it is written as "the laver and his foot." The WORD OF GOD stands upon CHRIST JESUS and is upheld by HIM. These are inseparable, not one without the other.

The Laver was located at the Door of the Tabernacle. It was highly polished so to reflect the Door and the Copper Altar, for it stood between them. The WORD OF GOD, like a mirror, reveals the Cross (Sacrifice Altar) and the Door (MESSIAH YESHUA) through which we enter in to fellowship with the MOST HOLY GOD ETERNAL.

The Copper Basin situated before the Tabernacle of the Congregation (Holy Place) which housed the Table of Shewbread, shows that there is an experience of cleansing before feasting. Children are not to be dirty when they come to the table, they are commanded to "wash first." No believer is entitled to come to the Breaking of Bread at the Table in the Holy Place without self-examination. "Let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup; for if we judge ourselves, we would not be judged." [1 Corinthians 11. 28-31]

The priests could not wash themselves with the Laver, there was to be water put in it. This points to a great spiritual truth that cleansed them and made them ready for their tasks. The only water the sons of Israel had in the desert was that which gushed forth from the SMITTEN ROCK. [Exodus/Shemot 17. 6] Moses was commanded of the SOVEREIGN ALMIGHTY ONE to strike the rock (which Moses did) and water came forth for the thirsty Israelites. [Numbers/B'Midvar 20. 8, 11] For water the second time, Moses was to speak to the ROCK; but instead he struck it twice. For this sin of disobedience Moses was not permitted to enter the Promised Land with the Children of Israel.

The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, THE ROCK, was struck once and ever after we need but speak to HIM for our supply of spiritual drink! "Our fathers all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that SPIRITUAL ROCK that followed them (went with them), and that ROCK was CHRIST." [1 Corinthians 10. 4] The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA is the ROCK OF AGES. It was only after this PRIZED ROCK was struck (on the Cross, then raised from the dead, and ascended up into Heaven) that there was poured out "SPIRITUAL DRINK (HOLY SPIRIT)" for HIS people.

To be effective, the WATER OF THE WORD must be applied. Not only are we to believe GOD'S WORD by receiving it, but we are to serve GOD'S WORD by observing (obeying) it. We are to be DOERS of the WORD — not HEARERS only. [James 1. 21 – 27; Romans 2. 13]

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Whoever serves GOD out of love devotes himself to HIS law and to the observance of HIS commandments, and walks in the paths of wisdom, not because of any worldly advantage, nor to protect himself from evil, nor even to inherit good hereafter; he does the right because it is right, though in the end the blessing will not fail him. To love the LORD GOD with all your heart, is its own reward.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 5 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The smallest deed is better than the grandest intention.

THE LAVER  (Part 1 of 2)
"The LORD spoke to Moses saying — Make a laver of copper and a stand of copper for it, for washing; and place it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar. Put water in it." [Exodus (Shemot) 30. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Torah]

This article of furniture, the Laver, is mentioned in connection with another, the Altar of Incense. [Exodus/Shemot 30. 1]   However, not one without the other.  The Laver is for cleansing, it must be appropriated before the Golden Altar of Prayer & Praise can be approached.  The priests must be clean before there could be any Fragrance of Worship to OMNIPOTENT HOLY GOD.

The copper of the Laver was obtained from the Jewish women who donated their looking - glasses to the service of the LORD MOST HIGH.  They were willing to give up their prized possession which they had taken for a spoil from the Egyptians before they left the land of bondage.  These looking-glasses revealed to them their natural beauty.  How they delighted to see their reflection in these highly polished copper mirrors!

Copper is a symbol of judgment for sin; they judged their outward appearance here.  Yet, they gave up that outward judging for the spiritual judging when they turned over these mirrors for the work of the Tabernacle.  Now, they were used in the construction of the Laver for the washing of the priests.  In other words, they gave up the desire for natural beauty, the outward adorning, in preference for that beauty which comes from within. [1 Peter 3. 3-5]  Man's mirror shows and judges spots on the outward appearance, but GOD'S MIRROR reveals and judges the blemishes of the heart.

The looking glasses of Egypt tell us of the intense desire of mankind to appear beautiful outwardly to impress others and attract attention to self.   But, this is all changed when redemption is applied to the soul.  Then, the primary, highest and most important desire is the adorning of the inner-man and the beauty of the LORD OF HOSTS to shine forth from the life which will attract the attention of on-lookers to HIM WHO is altogether lovely.

Twice in the NEW COVENANT the Laver is referred to for a spiritual washing or cleansing.  Paul speaks of the LORD JESUS having cleansed the Church "by the Laver of water by the WORD." [Ephesians 5. 26]  Then again of ALMIGHTY GOD having "saved us through the Laver of regeneration and renewing of the HOLY SPIRIT." [Titus 3. 5]   We are born-anew (regenerated) by the INCORRUPTIBLE SEED, the WORD OF GOD (the LAVER) through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT (the WATER in the LAVER).

The Copper Altar of Sacrifice has already been built and is for the Sinner.  The Laver is for the Saint.  We meet the SOVEREIGN LORD GOD first at the Cross and are cleansed by the blood of the LAMB OF CALVARY.  Then, we must come daily for cleansing by the WATER OF THE WORD.  The Altar is for saving us and shows us what the ANOINTED MESSIAH is.  The Laver is for keeping us saved and shows us what we are.  At the Altar, we learn that what YESHUA ha'MASHIACH has done meets the need of the sinner.  At the Laver we learn that what the LORD JESUS is meets the needs of the CHRIST-like-one.

. . . to be continued

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Who is like YOU, AWESOME CREATOR GOD? Who is like YOU, glorious in holiness, revered in worship, wondrous in works? Eternal is YOUR power, O LORD, YOU are mighty to save. In loving-kindness YOU sustain the living; in the multitude of YOUR mercies, YOU preserve all.  YOU uphold the falling, heal the sick; bring freedom to the captives and keep faith with YOUR children in death as in life. Who is like YOU, ALMIGHTY GOD, AUTHOR of life and death, SOURCE of salvation? Truly, there is none like YOU, O LORD my GOD!

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
There is no riches above a healthy body and no joy above a redeemed soul.

MESSIAH GAVE HIMSELF
"HE WHO gave HIMSELF for our sins, that HE might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our GOD and FATHER." [Galatians 1. 4]

There can never be a greater gift than what our MESSIAH, the LORD YESHUA gave. HE not only has given us forgiveness, salvation and all spiritual blessings, HE gave HIMSELF! The spotless, perfect, glorious ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON OF ALMIGHTY GOD gave HIS life, substituting HIMSELF in our place to suffer the righteous judgment of the MOST HOLY LORD GOD for our sins.

Six times this wonderful affirmation is found in GOD'S LIVING WORD. When the MESSIAH YESHUA gave HIMSELF, HE paid the price to deliver us from this present evil world into the eternal world to come. This promise is exceedingly intense and personal. . . the LORD JESUS "loved me, and gave HIMSELF for me." [Galatians 2. 20] The gift YESHUA ha'MASHIACH gave is more precious and everlasting than any the world could ever give.

The LORD YESHUA'S gift is the SUPREME SACRIFICE. "MESSIAH also has loved us, and given HIMSELF for us, an offering and a sacrifice to GOD for a sweet-smelling aroma." [Ephesians 5. 2] The PRECIOUS SACRIFICE has brought us to HIMSELF, for "CHRIST also loved the church, and gave HIMSELF for her — that HE might present her to HIMSELF a glorious church — not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish." [Ephesians 5. 25 - 27]

The OFFERING was sufficient to pay for the redemption of all our sin, as HE "gave HIMSELF a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." [1 Timothy 2. 6] This RANSOM isn't simply to redeem us from the penalty of sin at the Judgment Seat, but also from the power of sin in our lives now. And this is the testimony of the final occurrence of this great declaration. . . KING JESUS, the MESSIAH OF ISRAEL, the LORD OF GLORY "gave HIMSELF for us, that HE might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for HIMSELF HIS own special people, zealous for good works." [Titus 2. 14] Such great love the GREAT & MIGHTY CREATOR has for us, what more could HE do?

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Always remember, we too have a mission to mankind, to be a light unto the nations. [see Isaiah/Yeshayah 42.6] And we can do it – because we were ourselves slaves to sin. We know what suffering is and we know what it means to wallow in empty idolatry. May your life be a witness and beneficiary of GOD MOST HIGH'S care, love and presence. HIS grace is greater then all our needs!
O GOD, do not keep silent; do not hold aloof; do not be quiet, O EL! For YOUR enemies rage, Your foes assert themselves, they plot craftily against YOUR people, and take counsel against YOUR treasured ones. They say, “Let us wipe them out as a nation; Israel ’s name will be mentioned no more.” Deal with them, O my GOD, make them like thistledown, like stubble driven by the wind, as a fire burns a forest, as flames scorch the hills, pursue them with YOUR tempest, terrify them with YOUR storm. Cover their faces with shame so that they seek YOUR NAME, O YEHOWAH. May they be frustrated and terrified, disgraced and doomed forever. May they know that YOUR NAME, YOURS alone is YEHOWAH, the MOST HIGH over all the earth. [see Psalms/Tehillym 83]

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Death is also a door.

GATES OF HELL
"And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock (meaning truth, not Peter) I will build MY church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." [Matthew 16. 18]

Many take this verse to teach security, that although the Devil and his henchmen are attacking, the church and the CHRISTians are safe within their fortress. In fact, many translators understand Gates figuratively, feeling that since gates are strong and important, they can be viewed as synonymous with power. . . implying that the "power of hell" is assembled against the church of LORD YESHUA, the ANOINTED ONE OF GOD.

However, it never appears, in any case, to be understood to mean "power" — it always means "gates" — either literal gates in a literal wall or a metaphorical entryway. The text is not talking about the Power of Hell, but the Gates of Hell. It pictures CHRISTians on the attack, not of the Evil Devourer endeavoring to destroy CHRIST-like-ones. The forces of evil are the wretched hopeless ones crouched within their stronghold, while the Church is battering down their gates!

For the promises in the OLD COVENANT are still true, our HEAVENLY CONQUEROR unceasingly fights for HIS saints today. "The LORD shall go forth like a MIGHTY WARRIOR; HE whips up HIS rage like a man of war. HE shall cry out, yes, roars aloud; HE charges and shall prevail upon HIS enemies." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 42. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Though the enemy be as "a fortified bronze wall they shall not overcome you, for I am with you to deliver and save you — says the LORD. I will save you from the hands of the wicked and rescue you from the clutches of the violent" says the LORD OF HOSTS, the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL. [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 15. 20 - 21 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through GOD to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of GOD, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of CHRIST JESUS." [2 Corinthians 10. 4 - 5] These verses sound the battle cry, and the battleground is the minds of men. We are commanded to cast down (Hebrew: shachach — literally meaning demolish) improper reasoning and arrogant philosophy, capturing every thought (mind) for the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, thereby destroying the entrenchment's of evil.

There is a time for defense, but let us never forget, we as followers and joint-heirs of LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH, are to be on the offensive as well. The CONQUERING VICTORIOUS MESSIAH, WHO leads us into the battle, will certainly lead us to a glorious victory! Exalted praises to our ETERNALLY MAGNIFICENT KING JESUS forever, the battle is triumphantly won.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May the LORD GOD bless and honor you with HIS righteousness and surround you as with a shield.
Continue to learn about the MAGNIFICENT PLANNER, for the more we know of HIM, the more we can trust HIS plans — gladness will reign and joy will increase as you grow in the fear and wisdom of the LORD.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When the destination is certain, the journey is worthwhile.

NONE OTHER
"There is no god besides ME, a JUST GOD and a SAVIOR; there is none besides ME. Look to ME, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am GOD, and there is none else. By MYSELF I have sworn, the word has gone out of MY mouth in truth, it shall not return: To ME every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear loyalty." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 45. 21 - 23 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

From the time sin entered into GOD'S created world, HIS message to all people of all ages has been the same. The MOST HIGH OMNIPOTENT ONE prophesied that there would soon be a coming REDEEMER — the SEED of a woman WHO would crush the head of the serpent, while the REDEEMER HIMSELF would be made to suffer in order to do away with the effects of sin. [Genesis/Bereshith 3. 15] "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; it is the blood, as life that makes expiation for the soul." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

Time after time the LOVING MASTER warned the people of HIS hatred of sin and wickedness: "YOU are not a GOD WHO takes pleasure in wickedness; evil cannot dwell with YOU. The boastful shall not stand in YOUR sight. YOU hate all evildoers; YOU shall destroy those who speak lies; the LORD abhors the murderous and deceitful man." [Psalms (Tehillym) 5. 4 - 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Six things the LORD hates; seven are an abomination to HIM: a haughty look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet swift in running to evil, a false witness testifying lies, and one who incites discord among brothers." [Proverbs (Mishle) 6. 16 - 19 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

However, LOVING CREATOR recognized that mankind was totally incapable of measuring up to HIS standard of perfection. Therefore, HE wrote the great statement for HIS righteous requirements, the Ten Commandments that verified the utter impossibility of complete compliance. However, on the other side, the HOLY ONE repeatedly extended HIS invitation to be rescued from sin and its effects and its necessary judgment by confidence in HIS Plan of Salvation for mankind. So, to all the ends of the earth, everyone has the opportunity to be saved. "Only in the LORD do I have righteousness and strength. To HIM men shall come." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 45. 24 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "O GOD of our SALVATION, in WHOM all the ends of the earth and the distant seas put their trust and confidence." [Psalms (Tehillym) 65. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The perfect plan of the MASTER DESIGNER focuses on the promised REDEEMER WHO would come to buy back and deliver humanity from its enslavement to sin. "Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a SON, and shall call HIS NAME IMMANU’EL." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 7. 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "And she will bring forth a SON, and you shall call HIS NAME IMMANU’EL, for HE will save HIS people from their sins." [Matthew 1. 21] "It was our sickness that HE was bearing, our suffering that HE endured. Yet we esteemed HIM stricken, smitten and afflicted by GOD; but HE was wounded because of our sins, HE was bruised for our iniquities. HE bore the chastisement that made us whole...And the LORD has laid on HIM the guilt and iniquity of us all." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 53. 4 - 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

What a WONDERFUL SAVIOR and a INCREDIBLY PHENOMENAL GOD we worship, adore, and serve!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May GOD, WHO separates the holy from the secular, forgive our sins as we performing the Havdallah Service, bidding farewell to Sabbath. We taste the wine, smell the spices, see the shadow of the candle, hear the prayers and songs and touch family and friends. May your home be a place where peace abides, where love grows, where tranquility pervades, and contentment and happiness is a blessing, a success.
Tov Shavua - have a good week, a week of peace, joy and gladness!

Post  Admin Sat 12 Nov 2016, 2:46 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Modesty is meekness and wisdom combined.

IT IS ENOUGH
"Enough! said Israel . It is enough! My son Joseph is still alive! I must go and see him before I die." [Genesis (Bereshith) 45. 28 Tanakh, Torah]

Enough in Hebrew is "rab" meaning greater, more numerous, exceedingly much. Here, Jacob is overcome with thankful emotion at the news that Joseph, his beloved son long given up for dead, is still alive. Later Pharaoh, for a very different reason, cried — "Plead with the LORD for it is enough that there be an end of GOD'S thunder and of hail. I will let you go, you need stay no longer." [Exodus (Shemot) 9. 28 Tanakh, Torah]

"It is enough! Stay your hand." [2 Samuel (Shemuel Bet) 24. 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im; 1 Chronicles/Dibre Hayamin Alef 21. 15] ALMIGHTY GOD gave this command to the Angel of Death to stop destroying the Israelites after David sinned in numbering the people. When Elijah thought he could bear no more, "Enough! — he cried. Now, O LORD, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers." [1 Kings (Melakhim Alef) 19. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Moreover, "Three things are insatiable; four never say — "Enough!" Sheol, a barren womb, earth that cannot get enough water, and fire which never says — "Enough!" [Proverbs (Mishle) 30. 15 - 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH said, "It is enough for a disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant like his master." [Matthew 10. 25] As the time of HIS arrest was drawing nearer, JESUS, the BELOVED, told HIS disciples, "It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the SON OF MAN is being betrayed into the hands of sinners." [Mark 14. 41] When they produced two swords, "HE said to them — It is enough." [Luke 22. 38]

There are many circumstances which will cause a person to say enough already! But, in the ages to come there will never be an end to "the exceeding riches of HIS grace in HIS kindness toward us in CHRIST JESUS." [Ephesians 2. 7] The great abundance of our LOVING REDEEMER’S blessings will never be viewed as enough for HIS mercies never fail.

My desire is to be with my SAVIOR & KING, MESSIAH YESHUA, to behold HIS glorious face and worship at HIS feet. I am confident and absolutely certain, that we can never know enough of our amazing, magnificent LORD GOD!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Good Sabbath! Welcoming the Bride of the Week ...the rest of love freely given — a rest of truth and sincerity — a rest in peace and tranquility, in quiet and safety — a perfect rest in which you find favor. Have a peaceful, enriching Shabbat with an objective to bless others.
Blessed are YOU, MOST HOLY ONE, to be more like YOUR BELOVED SON is the cry of our hearts. Show us mercy, O LORD GOD, and grant us YOUR salvation. Eternal is YOUR power, YOU are mighty to save. I give YOU praise and glory, O LORD.
May happiness, love and the joy of Messiah reign in your homes and lives daily.

Post  Admin Fri 11 Nov 2016, 9:59 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A person who seeks help for a friend, while needy himself, will be answered first.
CREATOR OF ISRAEL
"I am your HOLY ONE, the LORD, your KING, the CREATOR of Israel ." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 43. 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The EVER-LIVING LORD GOD is often referred to as the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL and as the KING OF ISRAEL.  This reference to HIM as the CREATOR OF ISRAEL is particularly unique, however.   In the four other passages where GOD is called "CREATOR" —  HE, more specifically, is referred to as "your CREATOR" [Ecclesiastes/Kohelet 12. 1],  "CREATOR of the earth from end to end" [Isaiah/Yeshayah 40. 28], "the CREATOR, WHO is blessed forever" [Romans 1. 25], and the "FAITHFUL CREATOR." [1 Peter 4. 19]   But in what sense has the ALMIGHTY ONE become Israel 's MASTER DESIGNER?

The MIGHTY GOD declared, "Be glad, then and rejoice forever in what I am creating. For I shall create Jerusalem as a joy, and her people as a delight." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "But now thus says the LORD WHO created you, O Jacob; WHO formed you, O Israel; fear not for I will redeem you, I have singled you out by name, you are MINE." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 43. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

These testimonies apply to the spiritual creation of Israel in its special relation to GOD and to the world. The physical City of Jerusalem (streets, walls, etc.) are built by man.   However, the HOLY ONE did create the physical Israel ,  for HE created the marvelous process of human birth and the physical processes of the earth, which HE then rightly directed to ultimately establish the peoples and the land of Israel , HIS chosen.  And, there is a direct reference to the New Jerusalem, which will indeed be specially created.  The ALMIGHTY ONE, HIMSELF will create and form as spoken of by John who saw "the Holy City , New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from GOD, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." [Revelation 21. 2]   "For behold! I am creating a new heaven and a new earth; the former things shall not be remembered, they shall never come to mind." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The OMNISCIENT GOD SUPREME is the GREAT ARCHITECT.  "I know too, that whatever GOD has brought to pass will recur evermore." [Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 3. 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  Israel, like the new heavens and the new earth, is forever, for the MASTER DESIGNER is her MAKER & CREATOR.  "For as the new heaven and the new earth which I will make shall endure by MY will — declares the LORD — so shall your seed and your name endure." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 66. 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  Someday very soon, from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh will glory in the radiance of the MOST HOLY LORD GOD worshipping HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Remember the wonder reflected upon the SERVANT, YESHUA ha’MASHIACH, WHO bent down to bring light to those HE so loved. The LORD bless and keep you throughout the coming days!
Go with GOD!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Failure to make a decision is one of life’s biggest mistakes. So, take courage, if you fail, keep trying!

PATHS OF MERCY & TRUTH
"Good and upright is the LORD — therefore HE teaches sinners in the way. HE guides the humble in justice, and teaches the meek HIS way. All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, steadfast love for those who keep HIS covenant and HIS testimonies." [Psalm (Tehillym) 25. 8 - 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Psalm 25 is an acrostic Psalm of David. In the 9th verse, the word paths (Hebrew ‘orach) means well-trodden road, a caravan, manner, race, rank, by-way, or highway. Along all of life’s journey, from earth to Glory, we need directions and clear guidance. The ALMIGHTY CREATOR, the HIGH & LOFTY ONE always honors HIS WORD, and this great promise is to lead those who will but choose to follow HIM. "In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE will direct (smooth) your paths." [Proverbs (Mishle) 3. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

All these paths are paths that experience GOD‘S mercy and confirm HIS truth if we only obey HIS WORD — by keeping HIS covenant of grace and believing HIS promises. These paths lead to life everlasting, " You will teach me the path of life; in YOUR presence is perfect joy; pleasures are at YOUR right hand forevermore." [Psalms (Tehillym) 16. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Glory, honor and majesty are before HIM; strength and joy are in HIS place." [1 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 16. 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Although the paths may sometimes seem strange, dark or dangerous, we are assured that they will lead to light and peace. "The path of the righteous is like radiant sunlight, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day." [Proverbs (Mishle) 4. 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The AWESOME GOD "is like the light of the morning at sunrise, a morning without clouds." [2 Samuel (Shemuel Bet) 23. 4 Tanakh, Nevi’im] The ways of the ALMIGHTY’S true wisdom are "pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace." [Proverbs (Mishle) 3. 17 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

A beautiful testimony of the paths of GOD is found in Psalm 23 — "HE renews my life; HE guides me in the paths of righteousness as befits HIS NAME. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no harm, for YOU are with me; YOUR rod and YOUR staff — comfort me...Only goodness, steadfast love, and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the HOUSE OF THE LORD forever." [Psalms (Tehillym) 23. 3, 4, 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim] What a winning combination!

With the GLORIOUS & EXALTED LORD GOD directing our steps, we can find complete guidance in HIS WORD, "For the commandment is a Lamp, and the Law a Light, and the way of life is the reproofs of instruction (rebuke that disciplines)." [Proverbs (Mishle) 6. 23 Tanakh, Kethuvim] And HIS WORD, "is a Lamp to my feet, a Light for my path." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 105 Tanakh, Kethuvim] May our prayers always be, "Teach me, O LORD, YOUR statutes, and I shall keep it to the end. Give me understanding, that I shall keep YOUR law and keep it wholeheartedly. Make me walk in the path of YOUR commandments, for I delight in it. Turn my heart to YOUR testimonies and not to love of gain." [Psalms (Tehillym) 16. 33 – 36 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Teach me YOUR way, O LORD, and lead me on a smooth path." [Psalms (Tehillym) 16. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The wonders and riches of walking with the BELOVED MASTER are the greatest, most delighting adventures you could ever imagine!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
O that men were wise, that they would consider their latter end!
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world of YOUR creation. May YOUR will be fulfilled and YOUR sovereignty revealed in the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel speedily and in our time, Amen. May YOU be blessed forever, even to all eternity. May YOU, MOST HOLY ONE, be blessed, praised & honoured, extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above all else. Blessed are YOU beyond all blessings & hymns, praises & consolations that may be uttered in this world, Amen. O that peace abundant would descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel, Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The fruit of wisdom comes through righteousness which virtue teaches are for temperance, good judgment, justice and courage — of which nothing is more profitable in life.

WOE TO CORRUPT LEADERS & DECEIVING PROPHETS
This is what the LORD GOD EXALTED says — "You have profaned MY NAME among MY people for handfuls of barley and for morsels of bread; killing people who should not die, and keeping people alive who should not live — by your lying to MY people who listen to lies." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 13. 19 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

These are abominable, debased and corrupt sins that are world-wide that are being or have been legalized, even force-funded with the American tax dollar. The sins specifically: Abortion and Homosexuality. "For they are a nation void of sense, lacking in all discernment." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 28 Tanakh, Torah] Chapter 20 of Leviticus, is replete naming the assorted sins and the penalties for breaking GOD’S laws. By abortion, they are killing those who should not die; and promoting homosexuality, they are keeping alive those who should not live. These are the two big issues we are facing today in politics and society in general.

Just as GOD’S WORD foretold, in the last days the evil ruler will "will speak pompous words against the MOST HIGH and shall persecute the saints of the MOST HIGH. He will intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time (three and one-half years)." [Daniel (Danyel) 7. 25 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Consider the VOICE of the SOVEREIGN OF THE UNIVERSE: "MY heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake. I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of the LORD, and because of HIS HOLY WORDS. For the land is full of adulterers; for because of a curse the land mourns. The pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up. Their course of life is evil, and their might is not right…They commit adultery and walk in lies; they also strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns back from his wickedness. All of them are like Sodom to ME, and her inhabitants like Gomorrah .
Thus says the LORD OF HOSTS: "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; they speak a vision of their own heart, not from the mouth of the LORD. They continually say to those who despise ME — 'The LORD has said, ‘You shall have peace’ — and to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say — ‘No evil shall come upon you.’
Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD has gone forth in fury — A violent whirlwind! It will fall violently on the head of the wicked. The anger of the LORD will not turn back until He has executed and performed the thoughts of HIS heart. In the latter days you will understand it perfectly (sin of every description is a rampant, obsessive epidemic everywhere in the world today)."
"I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in MY counsel, and had caused MY people to hear MY WORDS, then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings. Therefore behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you and forsake you…and will cast you out of MY PRESENCE. And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten." [see Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 23. 9 - 40]

"Those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap them. And they perish by a blast from GOD, and they are consumed by the breath of HIS nostrils." [Job (Iyob) 4. 8 - 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "They sow wind, and reap the whirlwind." [Hosea (Hoshea) 8. 7 Tanakh, Nevi’im] "He who sows iniquity (injustice, wickedness) will reap sorrow; his rod of anger will fail." [Proverbs (Mishle) 22. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

LORD GOD forewarned: "Repent and turn away from all your loathsome abominations. Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. Cast away from you all the transgressions by which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit that you may not die...For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies — declares the LORD GOD — Repent, therefore, and live!" [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 18. 30 - 32 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

We have all sinned, but that is no excuse to embrace, accept or adhere to it. Sin separates us from the HOLY GOD OF HEAVEN; like a disease, sin unchecked will spread throughout our lives and affect all that we say, think and do. There is ONLY ONE PATH that is right and we need GOD’S help to stay on it. Only then can we walk in the light of HIS SON, YESHUA ha’MASHIACH, and share HIS SPIRIT OF COMFORT. "Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!" [Deuteronomy/Devarim 32. 29]

The TRUE & LIVING GOD will be merciful to those who trust in HIM and to all who call upon HIM for atonement for HE is good and ready to forgive. Turn to the MASTER, the ENDURING SURE FOUNDATION, and do the works befitting repentance.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
O GOD and FATHER, hear me as I pray with the Psalmist of old: So teach us to number our days rightly, that we may obtain a wise heart. And, may the hallowed influences of this day give us strength to do YOUR perfect will, O GOD, with a steadfast, submissive and loving spirit and with a heart of wisdom. Amen.
The LORD loves truth and peace: "Speak each man the truth to his neighbor; give judgment in your gates for truth, justice and peace; let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor; and do not love a false oath. For all these are things that I hate, says YEHOWAH, the GOD OF HOSTS." [Zechariah/Zecharyah 8. 16 - 17]
We pray for YOUR soon return, LORD, and expectantly seek YOUR glorious face. Speedily come, we pray!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is a poor thing to fear the inevitable.

BLOSSOM & BUD
"If one holds fast to MY strength, MY refuge, he makes ME his friend and he shall make peace with ME. In days to come Jacob shall strike root, Israel shall blossom and bud, and the face of the world shall be covered with fruit." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 27. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The awesome GOD OF ISRAEL promised HIS people the fertile land, as they obeyed HIS statutes and kept HIS judgments and performed them, safety was also promised. The ETERNAL ONE desired to set HIS Tabernacle among them, to walk beside them, to be their GOD, and they to be HIS covenant people. [Leviticus/Vayikra 26. 4 - 12] This great plan will be obviously manifested when the LORD YESHUA, the DESIRE OF ALL NATIONS rules in righteousness and justice.

"The LORD put out HIS hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me — Herewith I put MY WORDS in your mouth. See, I appoint you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms: To uproot and to pull down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 1. 9 - 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The arid desert shall be glad, the wilderness shall rejoice and shall blossom like a rose. It shall blossom abundantly it shall also exult and rejoice with joy and singing. It shall receive the glory of Lebanon, the excellence and splendor of Karm'El and Sharon. They shall behold the glory of the LORD, the excellency of our GOD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 35. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Though the fig tree does not bud, and no yield is on the vine; though the olive crop has failed and the fields produce no grain, though sheep have vanished from the fold and no cattle are in the pen — Yet will I rejoice in the LORD, exult in the GOD of my salvation. The LORD GOD is my strength; HE makes my feet like deer's and lets me walk on the heights." [Habakkuk 3. 17 - 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"For as the earth brings forth her bud and the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the LORD GOD will make righteousness and praise, victory and renown spring up in the presence of all the nations." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 61. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

If all people of the world were to acquaint themselves with the ALMIGHTY ONE, THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE, and be close to HIM wholeheartedly, accept instructions from HIS mouth and lay up HIS WORDS in their heart...If they fully returned to EL SHADDAI, the ALL-SUFFICIENT ONE, we would see the entire earth restored. It will blossom (Hebrew: tsoots) and bloom (Hebrew: pa’rach) for HIS glory some day very soon. What is even more splendid, we will be the people of the MOST HIGH and He will be our GOD. [Revelation 21. 3]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
GOD has often told HIS people not to worry or be afraid. They had choices, just like we do in all things even in this election. But GOD wanted them to choose HIM and be confident that HE was in charge. This is true today. GOD still promises HIS people, I will protect you. I am your REFUGE, not kings, rulers, prime ministers, or presidents. "I AM!" Regardless how or what the world may choose, GOD should be our choice. And there is great comfort in that. Remember, HE WHO keeps Israel, and HIS OWN dear children, neither slumbers or sleeps! Blessed be our GREAT GOD in WHOSE dwelling is joy and through WHOSE goodness we live.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is pointless to argue with those who happily pervert reality in the service of their profoundly held bigoted prejudices and opinions.

NOTHING IS TOO DIFFICULT
"He has made the earth by HIS power, established the world by HIS wisdom, and by HIS understanding (discretion) stretched out the heavens." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 10. 12 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

This SCRIPTURE gives the fascinating insight into GOD’S amazing power in creating the universe, especially on the first four days of HIS creative work week. [see Genesis /Bereshith 1. 1 – 19] HIS power is in reference to the tremendous energetic ability to organize this complex system which governs the earth and the wisdom of the MARVELOUS CREATOR shows HIS skillful planning which HE set up to abundantly maintain it. HIS understanding (discretion) is the infinite intelligence necessary to spread out the infinite cosmos filled with innumerable stars all individually distinct from each other.

The infinite, complex, highly energized universe could never have evolved by itself from nothing, no matter what theories or ideas evolutionists delude themselves into believing and teaching. The universal law of entropy operates in such a way it dissipates energy and disintegrates its complexity as it heads downward to chaos and death. Thus it is ridiculous and illogical to think chance or the cosmos could have organized itself by the same processes which are now rapidly disorganizing.

The LORD GOD had told Jeremiah to tell the House of Israel — "Do not learn to go the way of the Gentiles; do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, for the nations are dismayed by them." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 2. 10 Tanakh, Nevi’im] "Let the gods, who did not make the heavens and earth, perish from the earth and from under these heavens." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 10. 11 Tanakh, Nevi’im]
{Footnote: Verse 11 was written in the Aramaic language so even the Babylonians would know they were being used to punish the chosen people and it was not of their own strength or by the hand of their imaginary gods.}

Unquestionably and with all certainty, "the LORD is the TRUE GOD; HE is the LIVING GOD and the EVERLASTING KING. At HIS wrath the earth quakes and trembles, and the nations will not be able to endure HIS wrath and indignation." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 10. 10 Tanakh, Nevi’im] One would do well therefore, to trust HIM in all things and for everything, "Behold, I am the LORD, the GOD of all flesh. Is anything too hard or wondrous for ME? [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 32. 27 Tanakh, Nevi’im] "Ah, ADONEY YEHOWAH! YOU made the heavens and the earth by YOUR great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for YOU." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 32. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

With GOD all things are possible, HE specializes in things thought impossible and HE can do what no other power can do.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Let truth and justice be your armor and fear not, the ALMIGHTY ONE, blessed be HE, is with you.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Never mind the dark night sky — focus instead on the stars sparkling with light and talk to the ONE WHO created them.

SOVEREIGN GOD
"And YEHOWAH said to him (Moses) — Who gives man speech? Who makes the mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, ADONEY? Now go, and I will be with you as you speak and will instruct you what to say."[Exodus (Shemot) 4. 11-12 Tanakh, Torah]

When Moses complained of his inability to speak eloquently for the LORD GOD OF ABRAHAM before Pharaoh, the LORD divinely rebuked him. It had been 40 years since Moses lived in Egypt and was fluent in the Egyptian language. But now, 40 years later, the Egyptian tongue had nearly become foreign to him since he spoke the dialect of the Midianites ever since his flight there. He once was a powerful general leading the Egyptian army, but now he was a lowly keeper of his father-in-laws sheep.

Not only to Moses does the SOVEREIGN ONE rebuke, but to each one of us who would dare question HIS mighty wisdom for creating us as we are, innate defects, handicaps, or whatever. With our very limited knowledge of GOD’S purposes and our very short-range view of eternal priorities, we are totally unprepared to judge HIS ways with us.

When the disciples asked YESHUA, the BELOVED RABBI, why a man had been born blind, HIS reply was, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of GOD should be revealed in him." [John 9. 3] And another time when Miryam (Mary) and Marta (Martha), the sisters of Lazarus of Bethany came to tell HIM that the one HE loved was sick, YESHUA Answered them — "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of GOD, that the SON OF GOD may be glorified through it." [John 11. 4]

As he was being stoned, the unwavering, enthusiastic commitment of Stephen’s faith, to a certain extent, led to Paul’s conversion. Although it was difficult for the other followers of MESSIAH to accept Paul (previously called: Saul) because of the part he had played in Stephen’s death, YESHUA reminds us in another incident: "What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this." [John 13. 7]

The INFINITELY MAJESTIC CREATOR is not changeable or unreliable, HE is sovereign (absolute, superior, supreme). Whatever HE does is right and whatever HE allows is for a holy purpose. "But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against GOD? Will the thing formed say to HIM WHO formed it, “Why have YOU made me like this?" Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?" [Romans 9. 20-21]

It should be enough for now to know that the GENTLE MASTER knows and that when suffering or sorrow comes for HIS sake, it is "for our profit, that we may be partakers of HIS holiness." [Hebrews 12. 10]

Indeed, we can count it all joy when we fall into various trials, for it is the testing of our faith that produces patience, and it’s perfect work will make us complete, lacking nothing.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Bidding farewell to Sabbath; This Week's TORAH Portion was on the topic of Noah. [Genesis/Bereshith 6:9 - 11:32] Why are the Jewish people are compared to the dove? "Just as the dove found no rest, so too, the Jews will find no solace in exile. Just as the dove returned to the ark seeking shelter, so the Jews will return to the Land of Israel, and someday soon, to their MESSIAH."
O LORD GOD ETERNAL, be a SHELTER for YOUR people, and the STRENGTH of the children of Israel, that they shall all know YOU. Be gracious to us; we have waited for YOU. Be our secure arm each morning and our Salvation in the times of trouble. Keep us ever mindful of YOU that we serve YOU with all our being. Humbly, we thank YOU for being our GREAT & MIGHTY GOD!
Be a witness of the wonders of the LORD GOD and a blessing to others during the week as you allow the LIGHT of YESHUA to shine through you.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Mercy and wrath both come from the LORD; but HIS displeasure rests upon sinners.

IN THE BEGINNING
"MY oWN hand founded the earth, MY right hand spread out the heavens. When I call to them, they stand up together." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 48. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This SCRIPTURE passage not only tells us that GOD is the CREATOR OF HEAVEN & EARTH, but also that HE created them instantly and simultaneously. Creation was not a "process" — but an amazing and miraculous event! ALMIGHTY GOD, the GREAT FASHIONER & MASTER DESIGNER simply spoke them into being.

This is the testimony of the incomparable account of creation in Genesis — "In the beginning ELOHIYM created heaven and earth." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 1 Tanakh, Torah] Creation of all things was an event completed in the past. . . in its beginning. Who else could create, but the HOLY ONE OF HEAVEN, for by the greatness of HIS might and the strength of HIS power, all things exist.

The Psalmist harmonizes: "By the WORD OF THE LORD the heavens were made, by the breath of HIS mouth, all their host...for HE spoke, and it was; HE commanded, and it endured." [Psalms (Tehillym) 33. 6, 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Let the heavens praise the NAME OF THE LORD, for it was HE WHO commanded and they were created. HE made them endure forever, establishing an order that shall never change." [Psalms (Tehillym) 148. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

When the EXALTED ONE, blessed be HE, called a thing into existence, it happened. When HE called for the heavens, the earth and all that HE made were just as HE said. "And ELOHIYM saw all that HE had made, and found it very good. And there was evening and there was morning (a 24-hour day; evening/morning each of the days of creation week) the sixth day." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 31 Tanakh, Torah] The seventh day, the MASTER DESIGNER rested, this is the only day "evening and morning" are deliberately omitted because the LOVING ETERNAL CREATOR knows we will find eternal rest in HIM alone.

OMNISCIENT GOD created the heavens and the earth and all that was needed in six days, not millions or even thousands of years; nor did anything evolve or develop on its own! "In six days the LORD made heaven and earth and sea and all that is in them." [Exodus (Shemot) 20. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

It is very important to recognize the recent creation of all things, GOD SAID SO and no GOD-fearing person should ever compromise any of HIS HOLY WORD. The REVEALED WORD of our blessed LORD GOD, WHO alone is TRUTH, is stupendous and fascinating beyond words, and should be our primary concern. HIS LIFE-GIVING WORD transcends and outshines all theories or arguments of men.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel , Amen.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 5 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin Fri 04 Nov 2016, 10:46 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Make it a daily practice to see with your eyes, hear with your ears, and understand with your heart the incredible things GOD ALMIGHTY wants to tell you.

LAKE OF FIRE
"And whosoever was not found written in the BOOK OF LIFE was cast into the Lake of Fire." [Revelation 20. 15]

OMNIPOTENT HOLY GOD makes it very clear that the Lake of Fire is a literal place and all "the fearful, the unbelieving and the abominable, murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars, shall have their part in the Lake which burns with fire and brimstone." [Revelation 21. 8]

The GRACIOUS LORD spoke more about hell then anyone else in the HOLY SCRIPTURES. To the unsaved, YESHUA, the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE will say, "Depart from ME, you cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels." [Matthew 25. 41]

The Antichrist (the Beast) and the false prophet are to be cast into the Lake of Fire before the binding of Satan for one-thousand years. Then, the present earth itself is to be removed and finally, the Devil will be "cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever." [Revelation 20. 10; 19. 20; 20. 2, 7, 10 - 11] This Lake of Fire is in existence both before and after the removal of the present earth, and it will continue to exist forever.

There are those who say the Lake of Fire is symbolic and should not be taken literally. If this is so, the reality must be so utterly indescribable and beyond description that it can only be symbolized by an Eternal Lake of Fire, which would be even more horrible. For those "that obey not the GOSPEL of our LORD JESUS CHRIST" they are to be "punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the LORD." [2 Thessalonians 1. 8 - 9]

Rather than questioning the reality of Hell and its unquenchable fire, which is the just destiny of all who reject or ignore the free gift of salvation provided by the infinite love and sacrificial suffering of CREATOR GOD by way of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH; men and women should come to YESHUA, the MASTER REDEEMER now in faith and "be saved from wrath through HIM." [Roman 5. 9]

Now is the appointed time, tomorrow may be too late. So complete and perfectly does the blood of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO through the ETERNAL SPIRIT OF GOD MOST HOLY, offers cleansing of our conscience from dead works to serve the TRUE & LIVING GOD. [Hebrews 9. 14]

BEWARE! There is a literal New Heaven and New Earth coming to attain; and a literal burning Lake of Fire to shun (avoid, keep away from). Make a careful decision now while there is still time and live accordingly. Now is the appointed time, today is the day of salvation!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Sit on YOUR Throne of Truth, O LORD, AUTHOR & ALL-WISE CREATOR, establish mercy, seek justice and hasten righteousness, we pray, Amen! Consider your latter end; fear GOD, the HOLY CREATOR, take heed to HIS counsel, seek understanding.
May each day bring you a blessing filled with wisdom and discernment for the times ahead.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Assiduously (diligently, attentively, tirelessly) desire to live in accordance with GOD’S HOLY WRITTEN WORD — not according to carefully revised and selected portions of it.

HEART CONDITION
"The LORD saw how great was man's wickedness on earth, and how every imagination and plan devised by his heart and mind was nothing but evil all the time. And the LORD regretted that HE had made man on earth; and HIS heart grieved in sadness." [Genesis (Bereshith) 6. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Torah]

These two verses describing the incurable wickedness of the ancient world, which finally brought on the global flood, contain the first two of over a thousand occurrences of the word "heart (Hebrew: leb)" in the HOLY SCRIPTURES. Observe the contrast: Man's heart was evil; the ALMIGHTY ONE'S heart was grieved.

The heart is a physical organ, with its function of circulating the blood as basic to physical life. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah] It is also used to refer to the innermost part of physical objects (the heart of the earth) — "For as Jonah was THREE DAYS and THREE NIGHTS in the belly of the great fish, so will the SON OF MAN be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." [Matthew 12. 40] Almost always, the word heart is used symbolically as reference to the quality of the basic nature and deep essence of a person's being.

In this first occurrence, it refers to the thoughts of the heart. Somehow, before one thinks with his mind, he thinks with his heart, and the quality of his spirit in unspoken thoughts will determine the way he reasons with his brain. The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA confirmed this — "For from within, out of the heart of man, proceed evil thoughts." [Mark 7. 21]

How very important it is then to maintain a heart that is pure. How interesting that in the OLD COVENANT the first occurrence of "heart" refers to man's evil thoughts. In contrast, the first occurrence of the word in the NEW COVENANT is where the BELOVED YESHUA ha'MASHIACH gives HIS gracious promise, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see GOD." [Matthew 5. 8] And the blessed are promised — "They shall see HIS face, and HIS NAME shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the LORD GOD gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever." [Revelation 22. 4 - 5] Such great joy awaits us, joy forevermore!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Praised are YOU, O LORD our GOD, RULER of the world, WHO has given us the law of truth and righteousness and has implanted within us everlasting life. Praised are YOU, O LORD, GIVER of the Law. We bow down and worship YOU, our ETERNAL KING! How we long to see YOU and behold YOUR lovely face!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
GOD doesn’t ask the impossible of us – only the incredibly difficult – so we can find our strength in HIM alone.

REPENT — DO NOT BE IGNORANT
"Truly, these times of ignorance GOD overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because HE has appointed a day on which HE will judge the world in righteousness by the MAN whom HE has ordained." [Acts 17. 30 – 31a]

Ignorance was once overlooked, however without excuse. "Since the creation of the world HIS invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even HIS eternal power and GODhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew GOD, they did not glorify HIM as GOD, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened." [Romans 1. 20 - 21]

Even a adolescent can understand the GOOD NEWS of salvation: Simply believe and obey the LORD YESHUA and receive eternal salvation. Unfortunately, often the more a man learns, the more ignorant he becomes in regards to eternal matters. Many believe that any religion, or even no religion, is better than the only true one, which is a personal relationship with the MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE.

The MESSIAH YESHUA, nevertheless clearly proclaimed — "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one comes to the FATHER except through ME." [John 14. 6] Peter taught that there was no, "salvation in any other, for there is no other NAME under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." [Acts 4. 12] The Apostle Paul told the skeptical philosophers in Athens that GOD "has given assurance to all men, in that HE raised HIM [YESHUA] from the dead." [Acts 17. 31b] The evidence that CHRIST defeated death is available with "many infallible proofs" [Acts 1. 3], and the evidence is so strong that those who reject it are unjustifiable. Ignorance is not a bliss, it is without excuse!

There are many other truths about which the MAN of righteousness warns us to not remain ignorant about. Paul, for instance, declared: "Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant" — the gifts are given by the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD — "to each one individually as HE wills." [1 Corinthians 12. 1, 11] And, although many believe and teach that ALMIGHTY GOD has abandoned the Jews, HIS chosen people forever, HE maintains HIS faithful promises, and reminds us, "For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The DELIVERER will come out of Zion , and HE will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; for this is MY covenant with them, when I take away their sins." [Romans 11. 25 – 27]

Perhaps the most exciting and important fact is for us to know that YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is coming again, just as HE promised. "For this we say to you by the WORD of the LORD, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the LORD will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the LORD HIMSELF will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of GOD. And the dead in CHRIST will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air. And thus we shall always be with the LORD. Therefore comfort one another with these words." [1 Thessalonians 4. 15 - 18]

Now is the appointed time, now is the day of salvation. Bless the LORD, O my soul and all that is within me — HE has done great things, and HE still is doing them!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May you have a heart to know YEHOWAH, that HE is the LORD of your life; oh, return to HIM with your whole heart. May each of you be delivered from trouble and harm, or strengthened through it. Heal us O LORD, make us righteous in YOUR sight. May the message of GOD'S PRECIOUS WORD and the love of YESHUA ha’MASHIACH the SAVIOR bless you and bubble-up in your heart to overflowing. Amen
Beloved brethren, we encourage you to stand firm and confident in the LORD YESHUA. May you be filled with HIS wisdom, knowledge, righteous discernment, and boldness especially as we go forth in the battle against the enemies of our saving faith.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Woe! to the generation whose judges need to be judged!

THE WORD — CREATOR & JUDGE
"YOU alone are the LORD. YOU made the heavens, the highest heaven of heavens, and all their host, the earth and everything upon it, the seas and everything in them. YOU keep them all alive, and the host of heaven prostrate themselves in worship before YOU." [Nehemiah (Nechemah) 9. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Undeniably, the WORD indeed is the MESSIAH LORD YESHUA, the PRECIOUS LIVING WORD WHO became flesh. "In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. HE was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made through HIM, and without HIM nothing was made that was made. In HIM was life, and the life was the light of men." [John 1. 1 - 4]

"Thus says the LORD, your REDEEMER WHO formed you in the womb: "It is I, the LORD ALMIGHTY, WHO made everything, WHO alone stretched out the heavens with none beside ME, I spread out the earth by MYSELF." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 44. 24 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the SCRIPTURES might have hope." [Romans 15. 4] "For it is GOD WHO commanded light to shine out of darkness, WHO has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the Glory of GOD in the face of JESUS THE CHRIST." [2 Corinthians 4. 6] "GOD, WHO at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by HIS SON, WHOM HE has appointed HEIR of all things, through WHOM also HE made the worlds; WHO being the brightness of HIS Glory and the EXPRESS IMAGE of HIS PERSON, and upholding all things by the WORD of HIS power, when HE had by HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the MAJESTY on high." [Hebrews 1. 1 - 3]

The same WORD WHO spoke worlds into existence will also destroy all opposition to HIS SOVEREIGNTY by HIS SPOKEN WORD. "As for those peoples that warred against Jerusalem, the LORD will smite them with this plague: Their flesh shall rot away while they stand on their feet; their eyes shall rot away in their sockets; and their tongues shall rot away in their mouths...So shall this plague be." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 14. 12 - 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This is accomplished by the SPOKEN WORD OF GOD, "And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against HIM WHO sat on the horse and against HIS army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the Mark of the Beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of HIM WHO sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh." [Revelation 19. 19 - 21]

Since the WORD is the HOLY ONE to WHOM we will all give account, it is both expedient and imperative that we take care how we live and treat the WORD today. Accept HIS life, HIS love, HIS peace and His righteousness. The beloved YESHUA ha’MASHIACH desires to give you all this, if you but humbly allow HIM be your LORD & SAVIOR. HE is tenderly waiting for you.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Be gracious to us ALMIGHTY LORD GOD that we may understand and fulfill the Teaching of YOUR WORD. Enlighten our eyes in YOUR Law that we may cling to YOUR commandments. Unite our hearts to love and revere YOU and to learn YOUR WORDS and wisdom. LORD YOU are my PRAISE, my STRENGTH, my FORTRESS, my REFUGE — in days of affliction and at all times. Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Fruit does not exist for the benefit of the tree, but to nourish others. In the same way, Israel’s mission is to teach the nations of the world that GOD is THE SOURCE of all blessings. [Samson Raphael Hirsch]

FRUITLESS FUTILITY
"Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, HE (YESHUA) was hungry. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, HE went to see if perhaps HE would find something on it. When HE came to it, HE found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. In response JESUS said to it — Let no one eat fruit from you ever again." [Mark 11. 12 - 14] "And immediately the fig tree withered away." [Matthew 21. 19]

Being hungry and knowing quite well that the fig tree produces fruit at the same time it bears leaves, YESHUA was looking for fruit to satisfy HIS hunger. Finding the tree replete with leaves, but not bearing fruit, HE cursed it for it showed signs of maturity but there was nothing to harvest.

Thus, MESSIAH used the barren fig tree to teach his disciples something they desperately needed to know, for they heard THE MASTER curse the fruitless tree.

The LORD had just come from HIS triumphant entry into the City having been proclaimed as KING by the multitude [Mark 11. 7 - 11], knowing their shallow adoration would soon turn into cries for HIS death. Leaving the fig tree, YESHUA drove the money changers from the Temple again, just as HE had done in the earlier part of HIS ministry. [John 2. 14 - 15] MESSIAH YESHUA knew the money changers were not only exploiting all the Jews who entered the Temple, but had taken over the court of the Gentiles, using it as a place of business, denying the possibility of true worship to all, both Jews and Gentiles.

The fig tree was the living parable, an object lesson on barrenness, typifying the Jewish nation’s condition in spite of their privileged heritage. This type of hypocritical fruitlessness receives greater condemnation [Mark 11. 20 - 21], exhibits a lack of faith [Mark 11. 22 - 23], and hinders our prayers. [Mark 11. 24 - 26]

The zeal of YESHUA used the lesson of the fig tree to teach — "Do you consider this House, which bears by MY NAME, to be a den of thieves in your eyes?" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 7. 11 Tanakh, Nevi’im] "MY House shall be called a HOUSE OF PRAYER for all nations." [Mark 11. 17] May our desire be to bear much fruit in our obedience, our worship, our faith, our conduct, our prayers, and in all our lives. Amen!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Blessed are YOU, O GOD, our salvation and our help. Everything that lives shall give thanks to YOU forever and shall praise YOUR NAME in truth. YOUR NAME is RIGHTEOUS, and unto WHOM it is becoming to give thanks.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Will you be a footnote in history or will you be a chapter heading? We ask you to stand with Israel as she stares down the face of evil in this world once again. As Jews around the world will say on Passover, just a month after celebrating Purim (the holiday where the Book of Esther is read and GOD’S salvation is celebrated again): "In every generation there are those that rise to destroy us and the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE, saves us from their hands."
Happy Purim…beloved ones in the Land of Miracles.

ONE WAY OF ESCAPE
"She let them down by a rope through the window — for her dwelling was on the outer side of the city wall and she lived in the actual wall...She sent them on their way, and they departed; and she tied the scarlet cord to the window." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 2. 15, 21 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

When the spies came into Jericho to search out the land, it was only Rahab the harlot and her household who alone was saved when the rest of the city was destroyed. Rahab had rescued the two spies by hiding them on her rooftop under the stalks of flax, when the men of Jericho came searching for them. When the gates of the city were closed, Rahab helped them escape through her window, which was on the wall of the city. Then, according to their word, she hung a scarlet cord from the window through which she let them down as a sign of their vow. [Joshua/Yehoshua 2]

The window, was the only way of escape for the Hebrew spies, and the window held the "sign of the oath" which was required for the protection of all within that home.

Noah was commanded to build an ark, and did so specifically according to the specifications from ELOHIYM. "Make an opening for daylight in the ark, and finish it a cubit from the top. Put the door to the ark in its side." [Genesis (Bereshith) 6. 16 Tanakh, Torah]

This window in the ark was the only source of light; and its door in the side was the only way into safety. "At the end of forty days, Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made." [Genesis/Bereshith 8. 6] It was the only way Noah had of opening up and receiving news of new life and restoration, for it was through this one window that the dove was sent forth and returned with the sign, the freshly plucked olive leaf by which Noah knew the waters had receded from the earth. [Genesis/Bereshith 6 - 8]

When all flesh that was to be saved on the ark was in, the LORD GOD shut the door. When the time for the closing of the age and the day of grace, GOD will again close the door. Likewise, HE WHO opens the way to salvation, knows when it will be shut and not opened again. There will be no other opportunity to be saved.

The ONLY SOURCE OF LIFE, MERCY & TRUTH is JESUS, the PERFECT ONE is the ONLY-BEGOTTEN, the SON OF THE LIVING GOD. "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one comes to the FATHER except through ME." [John 14. 6] The GOOD SHEPHERD came to earth to give us life, and that we may have life more abundantly. [John 10. 10]

The unscrupulous principles of the world leads to confusion, offers multiple directions, and ends in utter destruction. Thankfully, in the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, all fear and confusion disappears for HE is the ONLY WAY OF ESCAPE becoming our PERFECT REFUGE from all sins. HE is the ONLY SOURCE OF LIGHT EVERLASTING; HE is the ONLY WAY OF SALVATION .

"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but GOD is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." [1 Corinthians 10. 13] The LORD JESUS, the AMEN, the FAITHFUL & TRUE WITNESS, the BEGINNING OF THE CREATION OF GOD said, "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent." [Revelation 3. 19] GOD’S desire is for us to be HIS people, and HE will be our GOD WHO will give us one heart to fear HIM forever, throughout all eternity.

The way GOD has provided to escape temptation, is by the knowledge of what lays ahead. Like MESSIAH YESHUA, the AUTHOR & FINISHER of our faith, "WHO for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the Throne of GOD." [Hebrews 12. 1 - 2] So, let us faithfully run, with patience, determination and endurance, the race that is set before us.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, we share the blessed hope that, in YESHUA, every day will be as sweet as Shabbat — a rest of love freely given in truth and sincerity — a rest in peace and tranquility, quiet and safety — a perfect rest in which you find favor of the LORD JESUS! Have a good week, may gladness reign and joy increase.
May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel , Amen.
The LORD reigns; HE is the KING robed in grandeur; the LORD has girded HIMSELF with strength. The world also is set firm, that it cannot be moved. YOUR Throne is set firm from of old; from eternity YOU have existed. The streams sound, O LORD, the ocean sounds its thunder, the ocean sounds it pounding. Above the thunder of the mighty waters, more majestic than the breakers of the sea is the LORD, majestic on high. YOUR decrees are indeed enduring; holiness befits YOUR House, O LORD, for evermore. [Psalm 93]
Shavua Tov — Good Week!

Post  Admin Sat 29 Oct 2016, 11:30 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Everyone falls…it’s getting up afterwards that matters.

UNSPEAKABLE—INEXPRESSIBLE—INDESCRIBABLE
"And I know such a man — whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, GOD knows — how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter." [2 Corinthians 12. 3 - 4]

The NEW COVENANT calls three things unspeakable, inexpressible or indescribable; all conveying the idea of a thing which is so marvelous it cannot be articulated (expressed, put into words). Unspeakable words is mentioned above in 2 Corinthians; inexpressible joy is emphasized in 1 Peter 1:8; and an indescribable gift is the topic of 2 Corinthians 9:15

The indescribable gift which Paul is referring to is obviously the LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH. This MATCHLESS GIFT is what each of us are inadequate at being most thankful for every day of our lives when we come to know our LOVING SAVIOR. "The GIFT of GOD is eternal life in CHRIST JESUS our LORD." [Romans 6. 23] "GOD demonstrates HIS OWN love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us." [Romans 5. 8] "For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life." [John 3. 16]

When the Apostle Paul received MESSIAH YESHUA as his SAVIOR & LORD, he considered himself as "crucified with CHRIST" — yet he could also say that "the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the SON OF GOD WHO loved me and gave HIMSELF for me." [Galatians 2. 20]

It was Paul who had been chosen on a unique occasion to be "caught up into Paradise " where he "heard the inexpressible words." Whatever he was privileged to see and hear convinced him irreversibly — for all time — that once a person decides that "to live is CHRIST" — then "to die is gain (favorably promoted)." [Philippians 1. 21]

Thus it will be for all who received by faith the ULTIMATE, INDESCRIBABLE GIFT. . .the RISEN LORD, the ROCK of our salvation. Now we can join with another great apostle, Simon Peter, and say that we too "rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory" and await "the end of your faith — the salvation of your souls." [1 Peter 1. 8 - 9] That is an unspeakable, inexpressible, indescribable gift of great joy that awaits all true believers!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Come, my dear friend, let us go out to meet the Sabbath, the Queen! Come, O Bride, the Sabbath presence is eagerly awaited, and joyously welcomed!
Shabbat: One day a week we unplug from the incessant (never-ending) noise and hard work of ‘doing’ to refocus on just ‘being.’ Shabbat brings an inner peace within oneself, and provides a weekly opportunity to connect and relate to GOD first, then family, and friends. Jewish and CHRISTian life should be built around the family coming together — to eat, to learn, to celebrate, to mourn, and most importantly to transmit the torch of our shared heritage to the next generation. Judaism nurtures the awareness that GOD is actively involved in everything. There are no accidents; everything that happens to us is purposeful and for the best. We can feel secure knowing that we are wrapped in GOD’S loving embrace

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.
