A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Failure will hurt, but not hinder us…Disillusion will pain, but not dishearten us…Sorrows will shake, but not break us.

WICKEDNESS OF UNBELIEF
"Stone him to death (whoever may entice you to worship other gods), for he sought to make you stray from the LORD your GOD WHO brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thus all Israel will hear and be afraid, and such evil wickedness will not be done again in your midst." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 13. 10 - 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Enticing persuasion and beguiling influence causing others to reject the LORD GOD is the "wickedness" this passage of HOLY SCRIPTURE is talking about. It addresses how the ALMIGHTY ONE judges and deals with the sin of unbelief — especially the one who endeavors to persuade others to disbelieve the infinite love and sacrifice of MESSIAH YESHUA WHO suffered and died for their sins. YEHOWAH warned those who turned away from HIM — "Lo, I have it (GOD'S vengeances) all put away, sealed up in MY storehouses, to be MY vengeance and recompense, at the time that their foot falters. For the day of their calamity is near, and the things to come hasten upon them." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 34 - 35 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Matthew's Gospel tells us, "Whoever speaks against the HOLY SPIRIT, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come." [Matthew 12. 32] Significantly Mark likewise warns, "he who blasphemes against the HOLY SPIRIT never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation." [Mark 3. 29] However, unbelief in MESSIAH YESHUA is another sin which GOD cannot and will not forgive. CHRIST died for all our sins, thus providing the blood atonement for forgiveness to all who will accept HIS Gift of Salvation. JESUS' own words were, "He who believes in HIM is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten SON OF GOD. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." [John 3. 18 - 19]

These words are spoken by the LORD JESUS, the TRUE & FAITHFUL WITNESS, speaking of those who have spurned HIS sacrificial love. "Anyone who has rejected Moses' Law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the SON OF GOD underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the SPIRIT OF GRACE? For we know HIM WHO said — Vengeance is MINE; I will repay — says the LORD. And again — The LORD will judge HIS people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the LIVING GOD." [Hebrews 10. 28 - 31]

One of the last warnings in LIFE-GIVING WORD is in regards to "the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." [Revelation 21. 8] It is an unforgivable and wicked thing to reject or simply ignore the only REDEEMER & LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! "Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the LIVING GOD." [Hebrews 3. 12] Let not any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin and "do not be deceived, GOD is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." [Galatians 6. 7] The RIGHTEOUS JUDGE of all flesh never sleeps nor slumbers. . . take heed and receive a good reward.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
DEAR BLESSED SAVIOR, I dare not start the day without first communing in prayer with YOU. Thanking YOU for this new day of promise to do some good deed for others. Strengthen me to lend a hand where needed; to teach others how to be brave and forgiving; forbid that I should ever judge another or hold a grudge or prove myself shallow or vain, or through some thoughtless act, cause pain or shame YOUR HOLY NAME. Keep me humble, kind and sincere; drive from my heart all doubt and fear. And, should joy or sorrow come, grant me wisdom, LORD, to see and understand that it is from YOUR hand and that YOUR great love abides still lest I forget to seek YOUR face. Remind me often that I am weak, walk close beside me all the way. This is my prayer, my petition today and forever, Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Man should bless the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY in times of trouble, even as he blesses GOD in times of the good.

HEAVENLY WISDOM
"As it is written — Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for those who love HIM. BUT GOD HAS REVEALED THEM TO US THROUGH HIS SPIRIT. For the SPIRIT searches all things, yes, the deep (Hebrew: 'amoq — mysterious, unsearchable) things of GOD." [1 Corinthians 2. 9 - 10]

The first part of this text is often quoted. . . then people go on to say that "the wonders of GOD cannot be known, fathomed or imagined." However, if they would only continue reading, the very next verse states that HOLY GOD does reveal it to those who know HIM, as it is HIS wish that we know and understand.

"It is the glory of GOD to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to explore a matter." [Proverbs (Mishle) 25. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Concealed secret acts concern the LORD our GOD; but obvious things which are revealed is for us and our children ever to apply all the provisions of this TEACHING." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 29. 29 Tanakh, Torah] "Such things had never been heard or noted; no eye has seen then, O GOD, but YOU WHO acts for those who trust in HIM." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 64. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "For behold! I am creating a new heaven and a new earth; the former things shall not be remembered, they shall never come to mind." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Our SOVEREIGN LOVING ALMIGHTY GOD doesn't do anything unless it is first revealed to the prophets. "But now the righteousness of GOD apart from the Law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets [Romans 3. 21], which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the SPIRIT to HIS holy apostles and prophets." [Ephesians 3. 5]

"For in it (the power of the GOSPEL) the righteousness of GOD is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written — The just shall live by faith." [Romans 1. 17] "The LORD has manifested HIS salvation; has displayed HIS righteousness and triumph in the sight of the nations." [Psalms (Tehillym) 98. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"The PRESENCE of the glory of the LORD shall appear, and all flesh, as one, shall behold — for the LORD HIMSELF has spoken." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 40. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "JESUS said — I thank YOU, FATHER, LORD OF HEAVEN & EARTH, that YOU have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes." [Matthew 11. 25; Luke 11. 25; 10. 21] "The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to HIS saints." [Colossians 1. 26]

By HIS mighty hand and outstretched arm, the PRINCE OF PEACE delivered you that you might know the HOLY & TRUE ONE personally; there is none other besides HIM. HE desires that we hear HIS voice, that HE might instruct us. Truly the hearts cry of the MASTER OF MERCY to HIS people is, "O that they might know ME."

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Shabbat with the Havdalah Service. Havdalah (separation) is the ceremony that marks the symbolic end of the holy day of Shabbat and ushers in a new week. The ceremony, consisting of lighting the special candle, blessing the wine, and smelling the spices, is intended to require a person to use all five senses taste the wine, smell the spices, see the flames of the candle and feel its warmth, and hear the blessings. After the ceremony, it is customary to wish each other “Thus we celebrate the LORD GOD OF ISRAEL WHO separates the sacred from the mundane and forgives our sins. May it be YOUR will, O LORD, that our home becomes a sanctuary worthy of YOUR PRESENCE, wherein YOUR HOLY NAME is hallowed, that YOU come and grant YOUR blessings on us!
Shavuah Tov—a good week.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you do not bend the twig of a vine when it is young, you cannot bend it when it hardens. [TALMUD, MIDRASH Mishie 22]

GIFT OF SUFFERING
"For to you it has been granted on behalf of CHRIST, not only to believe in HIM, but also to suffer for HIS sake." [Philippians 1. 29]

CREATOR GOD is INFINITE POWER and manifests infinite love as seen throughout HOLY SCRIPTURE. Undeserved suffering in the world has long been one of the chief arguments of atheists. They insist that if GOD exists, HE is either powerless to prevent such suffering or simply does not care. How completely misinformed, misguided, confused, and mistaken they are!

In reality, there is no such thing as unmerited suffering, "for all have sinned" and "the wages of sin is death." [Romans 3. 23; 6. 23] A person may suffer because of the sin of someone else, but even that person has undoubtedly brought suffering to others on occasion.

All sufferings have a purpose, for GOD OMNIPOTENT makes even man's wrath to praise HIM. "The fiercest of men shall acknowledge YOU, when YOU gird on the last bit of fury." [Psalms (Tehillym) 76. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] When Adam sinned, the MOST HIGH GOD cursed the ground for man's sake. [Genesis/Bereshith 3. 17] Multitudes of lost sinners have come to the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH for salvation as a result of the sufferings they have experienced in the world under GOD'S curse. The ETERNAL BLAMELESS ONE makes everyone GUILTY, that HE may have MERCY on all who come to HIM. Then, HE is free to show mercy on the believers, or execute judgment on those who refuse HIS way of redemption. Truly, ALMIGHTY GOD ETERNAL is the "RIGHTEOUS JUDGE" and the only "MERCIFUL GOD!"

Followers of MESSIAH are given the privilege of being "partakers of CHRIST'S sufferings, that when HIS glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the NAME of CHRIST, blessed are you, for the SPIRIT of glory and of GOD rests upon you. On their part HE is blasphemed, but on your part HE is glorified." [1 Peter 4. 13 - 14] The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the only ONE WHO ever lived, WHO never deserved to suffer, since HE alone was sinless. But, "CHRIST suffered for us...the just for the unjust, that HE might bring us to GOD." [1 Peter 2. 21; 3. 18]

One day, and that very soon it will all be over, "and GOD will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." [Revelation 21. 4] However until then, "though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." [2 Corinthians 4. 16 - 17] The MASTER OF MERCY & TRUTH is gracious and full of mercy. May our eyes behold, our hearts rejoice, and our souls be glad in the salvation of our GREAT GOD.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !!
Celebrating & Welcoming Shabbat! We thank YOU, GREAT & MIGHTY GOD for by YOUR mercies and grace we were taught the sanctity of the weekly day of rest. Sabbath is the sign of the tie that binds us to YOU. Keep us ever grateful and grant us YOUR perfect rest. We bless YOU, our GLORIOUS KING for making the holy different from the everyday, light different from darkness, and Sabbath different from the rest of the week. To YOU alone do we render thanks for YOUR sovereign power, love, mercy and grace.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Anything worth saying is worth repeating 1,000 times.

RAHAB & THE TWO SPIES
"Joshua son of Nun secretly sent two spies from Shittim saying — Go, view the land, especially Jericho . So they set out, and they came to the house of a harlot named Rahab, and lodged there." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 2. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Before attacking the city of Jericho , Joshua the son of Nun sent two spies in to search out the land. Some assume that two were sent because when Moses had sent in twelve men to search out the land forty years earlier, only two were faithful. The result was the nation of Israelites were condemned to the wilderness wanderings. [Numbers/B'Midvar 13 - 14]

It seems, however, that the only accomplishment the two spies succeeded in was in the saving of Rahab and her household. "The city and everything in it are doomed by the LORD to destruction; only Rahab the harlot is to be spared, and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers we sent." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 6. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The two spies in the time of Joshua are similar form of evidence, guide, or illustration to the two witnesses that precede the tribulations of Revelation 11. "And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one-thousand-two-hundred-sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the GOD of the earth." [Revelation 11. 3 - 4]

By faith, Rahab the harlot acted on what she believed and was therefore justified by her works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way. "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." [James 2. 26] Likewise, those who are found faithful and are watching for the LORD'S return — will also go out of this earth another way. Be ready and watching, HIS return coming is near!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Our GOD and GOD of our fathers, bless us with the three-fold blessings of YOUR Law written by the hand of Moses YOUR servant, which was spoken by Aaron and his sons, the priests, YOUR holy people, as it is said: "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make HIS face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn HIS face to you and give you Shalom!"

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Being in GOD’S will is always the perfect, peaceful place to be.

UNSEEN THINGS
"By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith." [Hebrews 11. 7]

The phrase "things not seen" is used three times in the NEW COVENANT. Interestingly enough, these all refer to the past, present, and future works of ALMIGHTY CREATOR GOD with respect to the things that are seen.

Hebrews 11 is known as the "faith chapter" and it begins with the incredible words, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen...By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the WORD OF GOD, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." [Hebrews 11. 1, 3] That is to say, the material things of this present world were not made of pre-existing materials; they were supernaturally created by the WORD, the MASTER DESIGNER! These things which are now seen provide evidence, or even better confident of the things not seen — that is, of GOD’S creative power completed in the past.

The process that are now seen, distinct from the materials, date from the time of the Great Flood especially. Before the flood there was a different atmosphere, Noah had not yet seen the diverse seasonal changes, and various other present-day incidences such as rain itself. Previously "a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground." [Genesis/Bereshith 2. 6] A great change occurred during and after the flood that were instituted in the days of Noah when "the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water." [2 Peter 3. 6; also see Psalms 104]

Finally, "we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." [2 Corinthians 4. 18] Just as surely as the materials and processes of the present world once were unseen, but are now easily seen, so the future eternal world will soon be clearly seen when the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA returns.

"It is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for those who love HIM...But GOD has revealed them to us through HIS SPIRIT that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by GOD." [2 Corinthians 2. 9b, 12b] The LORD indeed has done wondrous things in heaven and earth, and even now HIS awesome handiwork continues.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
MOST HOLY ONE, YOU are blessed beyond all hymns, praises and consolations that may be uttered in this world. My soul desires YOU in the night. Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek YOU early; for when YOUR judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Therefore, in the shadow of YOUR wings I will rejoice. HalleluYAH! Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Unless we remember, we cannot understand. [Edward Morgan Foster] ALMIGHTY GOD commanded us to remember because it is only by treasuring the messages of the past that we can understand the present and hope for a more blessed future.

DIVINE & HUMAN
"Jacob was left alone. And a MAN wrestled with him until the break of dawn...and HE said — Let me go, for dawn is breaking. But Jacob answered — I will not let YOU go, unless YOU bless me. Said the OTHER to Jacob, "What is your name?" He replied, "Jacob." Said HE — Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but " Israel" — for you have struggled with GOD and with MAN, and have prevailed." [Genesis/Bereshith 32. 24, 26 - 28]

Jacob wrestled with a MAN — WHO is none other than ETERNAL GOD. [v. 28] To commemorate this wonderful experience, Jacob calls this place "Peniel" (face of GOD). He said, "For I have SEEN GOD face-to-face, yet my life has been preserved." [Genesis (Bereshith) 32. 30 Tanakh, Torah] Jacob recognized the fact that this "MAN" with WHOM he wrestled was ALMIGHTY GOD in flesh!

Moses also had an experience: Moses, the great lawgiver, accompanied by Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and 70 of the elders of Israel "SAW THE GOD of ISRAEL." [Exodus/Shemot 24. 9 - 11] Then, after seeing the DIVINE ONE OF ISRAEL, they ate and drank before HIM; thus, testifying to the fact that they were still alive, fully awake, it was not a dream!

"The ANGEL OF THE LORD" [Genesis/Bereshith 16. 7-13], WHO being GOD, appeared frequently in the OLD COVENANT times as a "MAN." YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is GOD manifested in the flesh! "Behold, I am sending MY messenger to clear the way before ME, and the LORD WHOM you seek shall come to HIS Temple suddenly. As for the ANGEL OF THE COVENANT that you desire, HE is already coming, says the LORD OF HOSTS." [Malachi (Malakhi) 3. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Why must OMNIPOTENT CREATOR appear as a MAN? Because sin required the death penalty. Man, who was a sinner, could not redeem himself. ALMIGHTY GOD, in HIS OWN PERSON, chose to be the SUBSTITUTE to pay the ransom price in man's place. But GOD ETERNAL could not die, HE is "from everlasting to everlasting." [Exodus/Shemot 3. 14; Psalms/Tehillym 90. 2] Therefore, the REDEEMER of mankind must become MAN in order that He could be "made sin" and DIE. [Hebrews 2. 9; Psalms/Tehillym 8. 5; 1 Peter 1. 18 - 19] The REDEEMER could not be mere MAN either; for if He was, HE would have been involved in sin HIMSELF through Adam. [Romans 5. 12] Furthermore, if JESUS were only MAN, there would be no sacrifice that would be appropriate for ALL humanity. Therefore, in order to fulfill all the crucial requirements, HE had to be both, GOD and MAN to meet the necessary requirement of GOD'S holy standards for a REDEEMING SAVIOR, and man's need.

The LORD JESUS OF NAZARETH is the "ANGEL OF THE LORD" WHO saves and redeems, the PROMISED HOLY ONE that Isaiah speaks of. "In their troubles HE was troubled, and the ANGEL OF HIS PRESENCE was their DELIVERER. In HIS love and pity HE HIMSELF redeemed them; raised them, and exalted them all the days of old." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 63. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im] YESHUA ha’MASHIACH came to save and redeem "whosoever will" of the world. HE is the "MESSENGER (ANGEL) OF THE COVENANT" prophesied and promised by the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD. "See, a time is coming — declares the LORD — when I will make a New Covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah . It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers, when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, a covenant which they broke, though I was LORD (ba'alti — ruler, possessor, owner, husband) over them — declares the LORD." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 31. 31 - 32 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Yeshua (YEHOWAH Saves)" — HIS very great and incredible name tells of HIS wondrous work of redemption. "Therefore HE is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to GOD through HIM, since HE ever lives to make intercession for them." [Hebrews 7. 25] Oh how sweet that name, that inimitable name of JESUS!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
O GOD, YOU are our REFUGE and our HOPE, we glorify YOUR NAME. YOU are the LIVING GOD, YOUR WORDS bring life and light to the soul. YOU are the strength of our life, the ROCK of our salvation. YOUR Kingdom and YOUR Truth abide forever. Praised are YOU, our REDEEMER, the HOLY ONE of Israel .
The grace of our LORD JESUS CHRIST be with your spirit.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, receives the impossible! [Corrie ten Boom]

ENOUGH!
"Then Israel said — It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die." [Genesis (Bereshith) 45. 28 Tanakh, Torah]

"It is enough!" (Hebrew: rab— much, great, vast, numerous) is an exclamation of a thing or situation being satisfied, or a need has been fulfilled, or a limit has been reached. This phrase occurs both in the OLD COVENANT and three times in the NEW COVENANT using different Greek terms (arketos – suffice, apechei – enough, hikanos – ample).

In the opening text, Jacob is overcome with thankful emotion at the news that Joseph, his beloved son was still alive, though considered dead for many years. Then the Pharaoh, for a very different reason, cried "Entreat (Hebrew: ‘athar— intercede, mediate, negotiate) the LORD that there may be no more mighty thundering and hail, for it is enough." [Exodus (Shemot) 9. 28 Tanakh, Torah]

When David sinned against the LORD by numbering the people, the LORD sent a plague upon Israel from morning till the appointed time and seventy thousand men of Israel died. And when the ANGEL stretched out HIS hand over Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD relented from the destruction and said to the ANGEL who was destroying the people — "It is enough — now restrain your hand." [2 Samuel/Shemuel Bet) 24. 16; 1 Chronicles/Shemuel Bet 21. 15]

Then there was Elijah who thought he could bear no more being exhausted and weary of Ahab and his wife, Jezebel trying to kill him, journeyed into the wilderness and set down under a broom tree and prayed that he might die, proclaiming, "It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!" [1 Kings (Malek Alef) 19. 4 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

On the other hand, Proverbs tell of things that are never satisfied: "The leech has two daughters —"Give!" and "Give!" Three things are insatiable; Four never say, "Enough!" — The grave, the barren womb, earth that cannot get enough water — and fire never says, "Enough!" [Proverbs (Mishle) 30. 15 - 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In the NEW COVENANT, MESSIAH YESHUA counseled HIS followers that because of HIM they would be hated, persecuted or even be put to death because "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household!" [Matthew 10. 21 - 25] When nearing the time of HIS arrest, the MAN OF SORROWS, said to HIS sleeping disciples, "It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the SON OF MAN is being betrayed into the hands of sinners." [Mark 14. 41]

Earlier, when the MESSIAH sent the disciples out HE advised them to supply their own needs and sell their garments to get a sword if they didn’t have one. They replied that they had two swords amongst them and YESHUA replied, "It is enough." [Luke 22. 36 - 38] Obviously implying that their mission was to spread the GOOD NEWS, not fight for the MASTER.

There are many different circumstances which can lead one to cry: "Enough!" But, "in the ages to come" there will never be an end to "the exceeding riches of HIS grace in HIS kindness toward us in MESSIAH YESHUA. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of GOD, not of works, lest anyone should boast." [Ephesians 2. 7 - 9] We can never get enough of our WONDERFUL, HOLY, AWESOME LORD GOD; how remarkably rich we are!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Our AWESOME CREATOR GOD is worthy of all our praise and worship…remember, hard times cannot erase HIS promises.
Stay alert for such a time as this. . . keep watching and praying.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Tolerance eliminates justice (righteousness, honesty) — it totally removed moral indignation (proper, righteous anger), conviction (principles, belief), and courage (valor, boldness) to stand for what is right in the eyes of ALMIGHTY GOD.

WICKED NATIONS FORGET
"Let the wicked be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget GOD! Arise, O LORD, let not men prevail; let the nations be judged in YOUR presence. Strike fear in them, O LORD; that the nations may know themselves to be only men. Selah" [Psalms (Tehillym) 9. 17, 19 - 20 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Widely ignored today is the subject of hell, even among pastors, teachers and evangelists. Although rarely acknowledged, the place of eternal torment is often spoken of in HOLY SCRIPTURE. Numerous warnings are given because hell is real and it is going to be more fully populated than heaven. Heed the counsel of LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." [Matthew 7. 13 - 14]

GOD'S WORD clearly shows that "No one does good. The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men to find a man of understand, a man mindful of GOD. All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt, altogether foul; there is none who does good, No, not even one." [Psalms (Tehillym) 14. 1 - 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim; Romans 3. 10 - 18] Furthermore "the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one." [1 John 5. 19] Since all are wicked (Hebrew: rasha – bad person, morally wrong, defiant, rebellious, condemned, guilty), we realize that ones who are cast into hell are those who remain so, who "forget GOD" and refuse to seek HIM.

Nations all over the world have turned their backs on the RIGHTEOUS & JUST CREATOR, wickedness is legislated while righteousness, holiness, and integrity are totally eliminated from the laws of man. Just as the LORD GOD foretold — they would call evil good, and good evil, even changing the laws to accommodate their immoral depravities. The wicked leaders speak pompous words against the MOST HIGH, persecute the saints of the MOST HIGH, and intend to change times and law. [see Daniel/Danyel 7. 25] What treasures we have forfeited by disobedience.

However, for the saints in full sincerity of heart and mind, will seek the LORD GOD with all their might — "for the wise man of intelligence, the path of life winds upward that he may turn away from hell below." [Proverbs (Mishle) 15. 24 Tanakh, Kethuvim] GOD sent HIS CHERISHED, ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON to die for the ungodly while we were still wicked sinners. [Romans 5. 6] Blessed are those who serve the LORD in fear and put their trust in HIM.

Oh that every man would return to genuine love of GOD and faithfully trust HIM and HIS REVEALED WORD OF TRUTH, that we would be a holy people in every nation, HE would make us a praise and a name in honour. In MESSIAH, YESHUA OF NAZARETH, I rejoice in HIS lovingkindness. Yes — and I will continue to rejoice in the LORD my GOD!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
O come...let us adore HIM! Praised are YOU, O LORD, the HOLY ETERNAL GOD. We render thanks to YOU that YOU sanctified us through YOUR WORD through which we gain freedom of the soul which comes through obedience to YOUR commandments.
May ALMIGHTY GOD’S love and peace shine out of each of us...as we bow in adoration before the KING OF GLORY...bright enough for all to see, clear enough for all to follow.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Only those who repent of their sin will be forgiven.

THE FIELD, THE WORLD
"And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem as that field is called in their own language, Akel-dama, meaning Field of Blood." [Acts 1. 19]

This field was fittingly called "akel-dama" so named as it was purchased with blood money. Judas Iscariot, the betrayer of MESSIAH, purchased it (through the chief priests, following Judas' suicide) as they stated — "It is not lawful to put them (the pieces of silver) into the treasury, because they are the price of blood." [Matthew 27. 6] However, the blood Judas sold was "INNOCENT BLOOD."

The loathsomely detestable "thirty shekels of silver" finalized this transaction. However, this slave was none other than CREATOR GOD in the flesh, so the thirty pieces of silver, the amount set by the religious leaders, was the price for the sale of the MOST HIGH ONE.

The Prophet Zechariah had acted out a prophecy of these strange events some 500 years before. "So they weighed out for my wages, thirty shekels of silver — the noble sum that I was worthy in their estimation." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 11. 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

According to prophecy and its fulfillment, Judas threw this "blood money" down in the Temple and went out and hanged himself. The money was used to buy the Potter's Field to bury strangers in. [Matthew 27. 5 - 10] "Throw it to the potter — that princely price they set on me. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the HOUSE OF THE LORD for the potter." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 11. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

These and many other details in these accounts constitute a remarkable type and fulfillment of prophecy, a testimony of divine inspiration and divine foreordination. It is also a striking picture of the price of our salvation: For the "Field of Blood" typifies that great field, the world. The field is the world [Matthew 13. 38], and YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is the GOD/MAN WHO searched for the "treasure hidden in a field...and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field." [Matthew 13. 44] All that the LORD YESHUA had, HIS life's-blood, was willingly shed that we, dead in our sins and hidden in the world of filth, might be "purchased with HIS own blood." [Acts 20. 28] How very thankful I am that this MAN OF SORROWS, the ROCK OF OUR SALVATION cared enough to pay such a price to buy such a worthless worm like me!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, our prayer is the LIVING FOUNTAIN refresh and sustain each of you, our cherished friends. May the LIGHT of the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE, fill your up-coming week with a yearning desire to submit to HIS inscrutable will and give you strength for your daily tasks. May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be a part of each day as you share the knowledge of wisdom of the LOVING MASTER with others. O LORD GOD OF JACOB, YOU are my GOD...in the night how my soul desires and yearns for YOU. I long for YOUR irreproachable judgments in the earth, for the world to learn of YOUR integrity, YOUR majesty and YOUR righteousness.
Tov Shavua — Have a good week!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Love is seen in commitment...what joy it is to love and demonstrate that love by our commitment to the MASTER.

PATRIARCHS
"And HE (GOD) gave him (Abraham) the Covenant of Circumcision; and so Abraham begot Isaac and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begot Jacob; and Jacob begot the twelve patriarchs." [Mark 4. 38]

The word patriarchs means first father or head of a family. Thus, the patriarchs, fathered by Jacob, were heads of the twelve tribes of Israel . The patriarchs in the book of Genesis are types of all fathers. Adam was the patriarch of the human family and through his sin, death came into the world. Death was first mentioned when GOD OMNIPOTENT warned Adam that he would die if he ate of the forbidden fruit. [Genesis/Bereshith 2. 17]

Adam is the dying father, thus Noah would be considered as the righteous father; for "Noah found favor (grace, just, righteous) in the eyes of the LORD" — "Noah was a righteous man; he was blameless in his age; Noah walked with GOD." [Genesis (Bereshith) 6. 8 – 9 Tanakh, Torah]

Abraham is the Believing Father "because he put his trust and belief in the LORD, it was reckoned to him for righteousness." [Genesis (Bereshith) 15. 5 Tanakh, Torah] This is the first mention of believing (Hebrew: ‘aman — trusty, verified, long continuance, established). Abraham is a type of all who are justified by faith. The first mention of sowing (Hebrew: zara‘ — prosperity, disseminate, conceive seed) is with Isaac, the sowing father. "Isaac sowed in that land and reaped a hundredfold the same year. The LORD blessed him." [Genesis (Bereshith) 26. 12 Tanakh, Torah; compare with Matthew 13. 23 — "He who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces; some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."]

Jacob’s name was changed to Israel , as SCRIPTURE records, because "you have struggled with GOD and men and have prevailed." [Genesis (Bereshith) 32. 28 Tanakh, Torah] A single Hebrew word sarah (pronounced: saw’raw) used here only, is translated prevail, have power as a prince. Jacob, able to prevail in prayer with the ANGEL OF THE LORD, is the Powerful, Praying Father.

These are the honored patriarchs "from whom, according to the flesh MESSIAH YESHUA came, WHO is over all, the ETERNALLY BLESSED GOD. Amen!" [Romans 9. 5] O that all fathers today were believing, righteous, praying men having a powerful relationship with the ALMIGHTY HEAVENLY FATHER, the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL. And, that commitment of love gives inexpressible, glorious joy even in trials.
In ancient days, all men, whether or not they had their own children, had a responsibility to those who came after them - to be there for them so they would know the HEAVENLY FATHER. Each man has that same responsibility today. So, for those who come after us, may we be able to say..."We will not hide from the children what we have heard and known; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, HIS might, and the wonders HE performed." [Psalms/Tehillym 78. 4]

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Welcome Sabbath! For the TORAH, for the privilege of worship, for the prophets, and for this Sabbath Day, given us for sanctification and rest, for honor and for glory, let us thank and bless the LORD our GREAT GOD! When the invisible hand of our MAGNIFICENTLY WONDERFUL OMNIPOTENT GOD guides our lives and we are more then blessed, as we live each moment for HIS glory and praise. Be enveloped in HIS riches this Sabbath in peace and harmony as you glorify and praise our MIGHTY KING.
MODEH ANI: Modeh ani lefanecha Melech chai v’kayom shehechezarta bee neshmati b’chemia rabb emunasecha. — “Thankful am I before YOU, LIVING & ETERNAL KING, that YOU have returned my soul within me with compassion; abundant is YOUR faithfulness.”
Good Shabbos!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The reason for religion is not reason. . . it is an amazingly marvelous personal relationship with the MIGHTY CREATOR.

OMNISCIENT HOLY ONE
"Great is our LORD, and full of power. HIS wisdom and understanding is infinite, beyond reckoning." [Psalms (Tehillym) 147. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Paul asked the great eloquent question — "For who has known the mind of the LORD? or who has been HIS counselor?" [Romans 11. 34] Even the most learned scholars of every age are mere newborn infants in knowledge compared to the ALMIGHTY ONE, "HIS wisdom cannot be fathomed." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 40. 28 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Everyone who believes in the ONLY TRUE & LIVING GOD acknowledges that HE is omniscient by definition. HE created all things and upholds all things, and understands all things. HE knows the future, for HE is the HIGH & LOFTY ONE WHO inhabits eternity forever dwelling in holiness, "the ONE WHO inhabits eternity" [Isaiah/Yeshayah 57. 15] and created time itself.

To acknowledge this is one thing, to live as if you believe it, is another. Most of the time we live, speak, and choose just as though the ETERNAL ALMIGHTY LORD neither knows nor cares what we do. But, HE really does know and cares! "When I sit down or stand up YOU know it; YOU discern my thoughts from afar. YOU observe my walking and reclining, and are familiar with all my ways. There is not one word on my tongue, but that YOU, O LORD, know it well." [Psalms (Tehillym) 139. 2 - 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The blessed MASTER OF MERCY & TRUTH is both omniscient and omnipotent. HE is great in power and has created all things. Just look at the sky and the host of stars, even they HE calls by name, and "because of HIS great might and vast power, not one fails to appear." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 40. 26 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Just as the MASTER DESIGNER made HIS creation "very good" [Genesis/Bereshith 1. 31], so we also, as believers saved by HIS marvelous grace, are "HIS workmanship." [Ephesians 2. 10] The MOST HIGH ONE, blessed be HE, knows us individually and is concerned about our needs. Therefore, HE works with us in all our ways. . . HIS wonders to perform. It is such a privilege to serve our GREAT GOD , HE is THE GREATEST SOURCE of overwhelming joy!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Shout unto the LoRd all the earth; worship the LoRD in gladness; come before HIS presence with songs of joy. Acknowledge that the LORD is GOD; it is HE that made us and we are HIS people, the flock of HIS pasture. Enter into HIS gates with thanksgiving, and into HIS courts with praise. Praise HIM! Bless HIS NAME! For the LORD is good; HIS mercy endures forever, HIS love is eternal, and HIS faithfulness is for all generations. [Psalm/Tehillym 100]

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
One who pursues greatness, greatness will flee from him; one who flees from greatness, greatness will pursue him. [Talmud Eiruvin 13b]

ARROGANT PRIDE
" I constantly spread out MY hands all day long to a rebellious people, who walk in the way that is not good, following their own thoughts; a people who provoke ME to anger, who continually to MY face, sacrifice in gardens and burn incense on altars of brick...Who say, 'Keep your distance! Do not come near me, for I am holier than you!’" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 2 - 3, 5 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

People have not changed over the centuries, societies are filled with those who proclaim they are better, superior, and holier then others, their attitude clearly marks them. Similar to the high priests and Levites in MESSIAH’S story of the Good Samaritan, they prefer to walk by the needy rather than stoop to help them. Even in many churches, such arrogance can be found, and it continues to be a problem. James warns, "For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, "You sit here in a good place" and say to the poor man — "You stand there" or, "Sit here at my footstool" — have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?" [James 2. 2 - 4]

There is a list of things the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD hates recorded in the Book of Proverbs: "Six things the LORD hates; seven are an abomination to HIM: A haughty (proud) look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart (mind) that devises evil plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who incites (sows) discord (arguments, conflicts, disputes) among brethren." [Proverbs (Mishle) 6. 17 - 19 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Notice, the primary detestable act is "A proud look." Whenever we are tempted to think we are superior in any way, we need to take our eyes off others and fasten them on our EXALTED SAVIOR, but "we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend (praise) themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise." [2 Corinthians 10. 12]

In his pride, Satan (Lucifer) proclaimed — "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne higher then the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the summit of Zaphon (the City of the GREAT KING – see Psalms 48.3); I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the MOST HIGH." However, the MOST HOLY LORD GOD will see that he is "brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 14. 13 - 15 Tanakh, Nevi’im] The RIGHTEOUS JUDGE will punish the proud because, "Every haughty (proud) person in heart is an abomination to the LORD; assuredly, he will not go unpunished." [Proverbs (Mishle) 16. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The LOVING CREATOR GOD gave us the spirit of humility, which is the beginning of true holiness. "Thus says the HIGH & LOFTY ONE WHO inhabits eternity, WHOSE NAME is HOLY: "I dwell on high in holiness, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, reviving the hearts of the contrite one." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 57. 15 Tanakh, Nevi’im] "On this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at MY WORD." [Isaiah/Yeshayah) 66. 2] The HOLY ONE is still changing lives today, seek HIM while HE may be found, call upon HIM while HE is near for HE will abundantly pardon. Follow YESHUA, for the love experience of a lifetime, and then beyond throughout eternity.!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
We thank YOU, Great & MIGHTY GOD for by YOUR grace unto YOU do we turn continually, for YOU alone abide deep in the solitude of our hearts. May we ever trust in YOU, HEAVENLY FATHER, and be unafraid in the face of the inscrutable (unfathomable, immeasurable, unknowable, unimaginable) years, and see that everything happens for the best. Because of YOU LORD, there is perfect peace in our hearts at the nearness of YOU. Keep us ever grateful and grant us YOUR perfect rest, Amen.
Open your hearts in song as the sunset swells into a rhythm of changing colors. O taste and see that the LORD is good to those who trust in HIM and wait for HIM; to the one who seeks HIM with all their heart, HE will be found by them.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"Zeal without knowledge is fire without light." [Thomas Fuller] In other words — The greater you are, the more you must humble yourself.

THE WICKED PROSPER
"Why do the wicked live on, yes, prosper and grow wealthy?" [Job (Iyob) 21. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This often asked question has puzzled the thoughts of men in every age. Persecuted Job had prospered both materially and spiritually, yet he lost all his worldly possessions, as well as family and friends. The ungodly scorners of the region where he had lived were now humiliating and mocking him, yet they continued to prosper. But why is this?

The same troublesome question occurs again and again in the HOLY BIBLE. Asaph, a psalmist, confessed — "I envied the wanton and boastful; I saw the wicked prosper and were at ease. Death has no pangs for them; their body is healthy and strong, they have no part in the travail of men; they are not afflicted like the rest of mankind." [Psalms (Tehillym) 73. 3 - 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Jeremiah, the weeping prophet also complained: "Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are the workers of treachery at ease?" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 12. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Asaph and Jeremiah were both perplexed at the prosperity and comfort of the wicked until they entered GOD'S Sanctuary and reflected on their fate. [Psalms/Tehillym 73. 17]

And today, there are very few genuine believers who have great wealth or are powerful that are walking humble and righteous before the LORD GOD. There is serious spiritual danger inherent in riches and power, unless these privileges are dedicated deliberately and sincerely to the work of the ALL-WISE MASTER DESIGNER. Even the church at Laodicea, was scornfully rebuked by the GLORIFIED LORD YESHUA, "Because you say — I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing — and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked." [Revelation 3. 17] They were cunning, deceitful and loved to oppress. Thinking to themselves that they had become rich in finding wealth for themselves by all their labors and thought that no one, even GOD, the ALMIGHTY ONE, could find iniquity in them. Truly, their minds were dulled, darkened, duped, deluded, deceived and deadened.

GOD OMNIPOTENT has promised to supply all our need if we are faithful to HIM. [Matthew 6. 33; Philippians 4. 19] We need to weigh all our standards of prosperity on the balances of eternity. "I saw the wicked, powerful, and well-rooted like a healthy native tree. Suddenly he vanished and was gone; I sought him, but he was not to be found. Mark the blameless, note the upright; for there is a future for the man of integrity. But transgressors shall be utterly destroyed, the future of the wicked shall be cut off. The deliverance of the righteous comes from the LORD; their stronghold in time of trouble. The LORD helps them and rescues them; delivers them from the wicked and saves them, for they seek refuge in HIM and trust in HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 37. 35 - 40 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Our greatest need is a closer fellowship with the MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE. JESUS is earnestly calling and anxiously waiting for you!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Toward YOU alone, SOVEREIGN LORD GOD, is my desire, and all my thoughts are turned to YOU. My mind and my heart cling to YOU and thank and praise YOU for YOUR many gifts of grace. Therefore, with trembling reverence I place my body and soul, my spiritual life on the flaming altar of devotion, as an offering to YOU, the ONLY ONE WHO’S supreme greatness no mind can conceive or be sufficiently grateful. There is peace, rest and unending happiness in the wonderful light of YOUR PRESENCE. Thank YOU, for being my REFUGE. Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to the LORD our GOD forever and ever, Amen & Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 23 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The world stands on three pillars: On Torah, on worship, and on acts of loving-kindness. Throughout the Festival of Shavuot, the Season of the Giving of the Torah, we are reminded of the centrality of Torah; which teaches us the third pillar, to worship Almighty God through our compassionate (kind) and coherent (fair) dealings with all.
When GOD'S PRESENCE filled the Tabernacle, HE said — "Today I am causing MY PRESENCE to rest among you; if you sin, MY PRESENCE will leave you. But when MESSIAH comes, MY PRESENCE will remain with you permanently. Now you see the DIVINE PRESENCE through fire, but with the coming of the MESSIAH you will see ME clearly revealed, as it is written: For eye to eye shall they see when GOD returns to Zion." [Tz’enah Ur’enah]

FULFILLED LAW
"HE (the risen LORD YESHUA) said to them (the 11 frightened disciples) — These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law (Torah) of Moses and the Prophets (Nevi'im) and the Psalms (Kethuvim) concerning ME." [Luke 24. 44]

After HIS death and resurrection, the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH appeared to HIS disciples and ate broiled fish and honeycomb with them to prove HE was not a spirit as they supposed. Then, the GLORIOUS RISEN ONE opened their minds so they could understanding the SCRIPTURES saying to them: "This is what is Written — The CHRIST will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in HIS NAME to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem . You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what MY FATHER has promised; but stay in the City until you have been clothed with POWER from on high." [Luke 24. 46 - 49]

The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH alone perfectly completed all three offices (Prophet — Priest — King): "JESUS OF NAZARETH, WHO was a PROPHET mighty in deed and word before GOD and all the people." [Luke 24. 19]

"We have a GREAT HIGH PRIEST WHO has passed through the heavens, JESUS THE SON OF GOD, let us hold fast our confession." [Hebrews 4. 14] And, "HE lives continually to make intercession for us, our GREAT HIGH PRIEST was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens." [Hebrews 7. 25b - 26]

"All who survive of all those nations that came up against Jerusalem shall come up year by year to worship and bow low to the KING, the LORD OF HOSTS and to observe the Feast of Booths (Succoth)." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 14. 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Even as I will pour water on thirsty soil, and rain upon dry ground, so I will pour MY SPIRIT on your offspring, MY blessing upon your posterity." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 44. 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out MY SPIRIT on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on MY menservants and on MY maidservants I will pour out MY SPIRIT in those days. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the NAME OF THE LORD shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the remnant whom the LORD calls." [Joel/Yoel 2. 28 - 32]

This began to be fulfilled when Shavuot (Pentecost) came, ten days after MESSIAH, the BELOVED SON, returned to the FATHER in Heaven. "And they were all filled with the HOLY SPIRIT and began to speak with other tongues, as the SPIRIT gave them utterance." [Acts 2. 4] Now we can come boldly into the Throne Room of Grace...how marvelous!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Chag Samayach — Joyous Holiday !" Blessings to all who love Zion ! The Talmud says Jerusalem was named by the ALMIGHTY ONE, blessed be HE. The name has two parts: Yira, which means "to see" and salem, which means "peace."
We were greatly blessed when the HOLY ONE has brought us out of slavery from Egypt (Passover) and took HIS people directly to Mount Sinai (freedom). There HE gave us the Law (Shavu'ot) to keep us free from slavery (to sin). Then, gave us YESHUA ha'MASHIACH to keep us free and give us true peace and rest (Sukkoth/Booths).

Without TORAH we would not have a GUIDE BOOK for living, so one of the many kindnesses the ALMIGHTY ONE has done for us as a people was to give us this SPECIAL GIFT. Without TORAH we wouldn’t know how to function; we wouldn’t know the best way to serve our CREATOR; we wouldn’t have the tools to distinguish between reality and illusion, between light and dark; we would not have moral clarity; we wouldn’t have a GUIDE BOOK FOR LIVING; nor would we know how to confront life’s greatest challenges or answer life’s difficult questions; we would still be wandering in the desert — if not literally, certainly spiritually. Shavuot is a time to appreciate, to say thanks to the LORD GOD, to imagine the void of a life without TORAH and to experience as if for the first time how it lights up our lives and fills our souls. So we thank YOU, Great & MIGHTY GOD for YOUR love, so rich and pure, and for HIS wisdom in giving us HIS Precious Law. HalleluYAH...what a WONDERFUL SAVIOR!

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Being happy does not mean that everything is perfect...it means you’ve looked beyond the imperfections to see as love sees.

SHAVU’OT
"From the day on which you bring the sheaf of elevation offering — the day after Sabbath — you shall count off seven weeks. They must be complete: you must count until the day after the seventh week — Fifty Days; then you shall bring an offering of new grain to the LORD. You shall bring from your settlements two loaves of bread as an elevation offering; each shall be made of two-tenths of a measure of choice flour, baked after leavening, as first fruits to the LORD." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 23. 15 - 17 Tanakh, Torah]

Shavuoth (weeks) also called Feast of Pentecost, Feast of Harvest and Feast of Weeks. Shavuoth is recognized as a memorial to the giving or revelation of ALMIGHTY GOD'S gift of the 10-Commandments at Mount Sinai 50-Days after the Israelites were led out of Egypt. Seven weeks after leaving the land of death, the Israelites received the entire moral law from the mouth of the LORD GOD HIMSELF as HE spoke to them from Mount Sinai to guide and establish the redeemed nation.

It is a time to remember and observe the anniversary of the Covenant between the ETERNAL GOD and Israel. GOD'S time table is remarkable, first HE established HIS pattern for redemption in the death of the Sacrificial Lamb. As death visited the first-born of all the homes in Egypt not covered by the blood, Israel was set free from her bondage. Passover is a memorial to freedom. Many years later, at Passover, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH concluded that sacrifice, setting us free from sin and death. Paul identifies HIM in the resurrection as "CHRIST THE FIRST-FRUITS" [1 Corinthians 15. 23] for it was on the morning of the offering of the first fruits of the barley harvest that HE WHO is the BREAD OF LIFE raised from the dead.

Shavu'ot remembers GOD'S message of the Law, "All the people answered as one, saying — All that the LORD has spoken we will do!" [Exodus (Shemot) 19. 8 Tanakh, Torah] There is no liberty without DIVINE Law and self-discipline. The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA said, "Go! make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the FATHER and of the SON and of the HOLY SPIRIT, TEACHING them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." [Matthew 28. 19 - 20]

On Shavuoth/Pentecost, the priest waved two loaves of challah (leavened bread) before the LORD GOD OF HEAVEN. Usually leaven is forbidden, but on this occasion there was a hidden meaning to the leaven. OLD COVENANT saints wrote about the "GREAT SECRET" and the SECRET laid hidden from Genesis to Malachi (Bereshith — Dibre Hayamin Bet in the TANAKH). But, it was never fully known until the time of Paul. The HOLY SPIRIT revealed to this Jewish Apostle that GOD'S eternal purpose was to take from both Jew and Gentile, a people for HIS GREAT NAME, that they would be made a joint-body in MESSIAH YESHUA!

The two loaves "baked with leaven" were to be waved before the HIGH & LOFTY ONE on Shavuoth, represent Jew and Gentile. The leaven is symbolic of sin in them both being brought together in the SON. Here ETERNAL GOD was teaching HIS people that divine redemption through HIS ANOINTED ONE would be for whosoever will. "For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same LORD over all is rich to all who call upon HIM. For whoever calls on the NAME OF THE LORD shall be saved." [Romans 10. 12 - 13]

As the wave offering was lifted up to a high plane, so the HOLY SPIRIT leads both Jew and Gentile to the holy faith in YESHUA ha'MASHIACH to the highest position near to the very heart of GOD OMNISCIENT. Also, the HOLY SPIRIT leads both Jew and Gentile and forms us into one body. Faith in the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA makes every man equal in GOD'S sight. The LORD MOST HIGH is the gracious and merciful GOD & KING!

The LORD JESUS set us free from the Law in granting us salvation. Salvation is a gift to be accepted not a status we achieve. YESHUA, the ROCK of our salvation, sets us free from our own habits and actions in order that we may be free to obey. We become free to do, not as we please, but as the LORD GOD commands. In a sense, we are set free from our own habits, actions and the traditions of men so that we may hear the authentic and complete WRITTEN WORD OF GOD. This freedom comes from the knowledge that it is no longer our own efforts, but it is GOD'S power that is at work within us. This was then demonstrated and brought to completion in HIS season or timing: "And when the DAY OF PENTECOST (Shavuoth) had fully come, they were all together in one place" [Acts 2. 1], celebrating this "FESTIVAL OF THE FIRST-FRUITS" of the barley harvest "and they were all filled with the HOLY SPIRIT" becoming the "first fruits" of GOD'S Harvest.

The POWER OF THE ETERNAL ONE came to dwell in us. The prophets were continually calling the nation of Israel back to the LIVING GOD WHO had made HIMSELF known at the Exodus. We can know that same HOLY GOD, through YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, by the power of the SPIRIT OF GOD. On Shavuoth/Pentecost, the HOLY SPIRIT came [Acts 2] to fulfill the prophecy of David so that the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA would be recognized by Israel and known as THE ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON OF THE LIVING GOD.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
6 Sivan (May 24th this year) — The giving of the TORAH at Mount Sinai. [Exodus/Shemot 19 & 20]
The following is a prayer for the restoration of Zion by a MESSIANIC Jewish Rabbi and believer in YESHUA, Yechiel Tzvi Lichtenstein (1831-1912). It was first published in 1887 and has been reprinted again by Vine of David:

"O LORD, in accordance with all of YOUR acts of righteousness, let YOUR anger and wrath turn away from YOUR city Jerusalem, YOUR holy mountain. Our FATHER, our KING, lift a banner to the peoples to return Israel to its pasture. Gather us together from the four corners of the earth to our land, and plant us within its borders on the mountain of our inheritance. Bring us to Zion, YOUR city, with singing and to Jerusalem, YOUR Holy City, with eternal joy. Build it in YOUR compassion and let it remain perched and inhabited in its place. Establish YOUR Holy Temple in it and gladden us in YOUR House of Prayer. Return YOUR Dwelling Presence to Zion, YOUR city, and send us YESHUA our MESSIAH a second time. Let HIM reign upon the throne of David in Jerusalem, YOUR Holy City. Lift up the horn of the salvations of your people Israel in the House of David YOUR servant — salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us, just as YOU have spoken through YOUR prophets. O LORD, hear! O LORD, forgive! O LORD, listen and act! Do not delay, for YOUR OWN sake, our GOD, for YOUR NAME is called upon YOUR city and upon YOUR people. Hasten, ha’SHEM, to help us! Ransom YOUR people Israel from all its iniquities and from all its troubles, for the time to be gracious has come, for the appointed time has come. Amen."
Chag Samayach — Joyous Holiday We wish all of you a blessed Matan ha’TORAH (Gift of the Law) — the Giving of the Law! Have an extraordinarily blessed day in celebrating the Festival of Weeks.

Fiftieth Day of the Omer ―
On this day we celebrate the Festival of Shavuot, the giving of the Torah (Matan Torah).
The LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH, the LAMB OF GOD alone is worthy "to receive glory and honor and power and riches and wisdom, and strength and blessing; for YOU created all things, and by YOUR will they exist and were created. Amen!" Revelation 4:11 w/5.12 & 13 "For YOU were slain, and have redeemed us to GOD by YOUR blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us a kingdom of priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth. Amen!" Revelation 5:9-10

GOD’S LAMB merits all praise for what HE accomplished and we humbly receive the GIFT (matan) from Above which we could not have achieved with our own limited faculties. We are given the privilege to reach and touch the HOLY ONE. "Behold what manner of love the FATHER has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of GOD! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know HIM. Beloved, now we are children of GOD; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when HE is revealed, we shall be like HIM, for we shall see HIM as HE is. And everyone who has this hope in HIM purifies himself, just as HE is pure." 1 John 3:1-3 "For as many as are led by the SPIRIT OF GOD, these are sons of GOD. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the SPIRIT of adoption by whom we cry out, "ABBA, FATHER." The SPIRIT HIMSELF bears witness with our spirit that we are children of GOD, and if children, then heirs — heirs of GOD and joint heirs with CHRIST, if indeed we suffer with HIM, that we may also be glorified together." Romans 8:14-17

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When asked why Shavuoth is called the time of the "Giving of the TORAH" rather than the "Receiving of the TORAH" — the Kotzker Rebbe responded, "The TORAH was given but once on Mount Sinai , but the receiving of the TORAH is everyday."
The Law is a hidden treasure. . . "Dresh (Hebrew: search it out)!"

FEAST OF WEEKS
"Three times a year you shall hold a festival for ME: You shall observe the FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD — eating unleavened bread for seven days as I have commanded you — at the set time in the month of Abib (translates: ear, green ears of corn), for in it you went forth from Egypt; and none shall appear before ME empty handed; and the FEAST OF HARVEST, of the first fruits of your labors, of what you sow in the field; and the FEAST OF INGATHERING at the end of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labors from the field." [Exodus (Shemot) 23. 14 - 16 Tanakh, Torah]

Chag ha’Shavuot is the Hebrew word for the FEAST OF Weeks, because it is celebrated seven weeks after Passover. The Hebrew words seven (sheva) and week (shavua) are derived from the same root word. However it is also known by many names, reflecting its historical and agricultural significance: Chag ha'Katzir — Feast of the Wheat Harvest. Chag ha'Bikkuriym — Festival of First Fruits, which were harvested and offered at the Temple . Zman Matan Toratenu — time of giving of the TORAH. And, Atzeret — the closing festival as some regard Shavuot as the conclusion of Passover, because the Exodus from Egypt was for the purpose of receiving the TORAH.

Shavuot is the culmination of the seven-week-long counting of the Omer that occurs following Passover. The Festival of Shavuot is the anniversary of the giving of the TORAH and the giving of the HOLY SPIRIT, it is also known as Pentecost. This year it begins on the eve of June 3 and lasts thru sundown June 5 (Hebrew Date: Sivan 5 — 7), the event taking place 50 days after Passover. A new grain offering that the ETERNAL LORD GOD required included two loaves of leavened bread which the priest waved before the LOVING MASTER. "You shall bring from your settlements two loaves of bread as a wave offering; each shall be made of two-tenths of an ephah of choice fine flour, baked after leavening, as first fruits to the LORD." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 23. 17 Tanakh, Torah]

On this Feast, the Book of Ruth is read in Synagogues around the world. It tells of a poor Moabitess and her Jewish mother-in-law who return to Bethlehem from Moab at harvest time. Under the Law, the GREAT & MIGHTY GOD OF ISRAEL instructed, "When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap all the way to the edges of your field, or gather the gleanings of your harvest; you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger — I the LORD am your GOD." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 23. 22 Tanakh, Torah] Ruth (friend) is directed by the hand of the HOLY ONE to glean in the field of Boaz (fleetness; it is strength), the man she will marry and who father's Obed (serving), the grandfather of Jesse (I possess) — the father of David (beloved). [Ruth/Roos 4. 21 - 22] The Moabitess, Ruth is the great-grandmother of King David. Since tradition alleged that King David was born and died on Shavuot, the Book of Ruth is read in his honor.

Also, Shavuoth is the day King David was to have written his most famous songs, Psalm 119, which highly praises and extols the WORD OF THE MOST HIGH. David, the greatest king of Israel and a man after GOD'S OWN heart, is remembered on this Festival for his unique and intimate relationship with the HOLY GOD OF HEAVEN & EARTH.

Shavuoth is a time to re-commit oneself to the MAGNIFICENT GOD OF THE UNIVERSE and to HIS LIFE-GIVING WORD. Now is the time for harvest of souls. The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA exhorted us to "lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together." [John 4. 35 - 36] "Blessed is that servant whom his MASTER, when he comes, will find so doing." [Matthew 24. 46] "Observe what is right and do what is just; for soon MY SALVATION shall come, and MY DELIVERANCE be revealed." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 56. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"May the LORD reward your deeds. May you have a full recompense from the LORD, the GOD OF ISRAEL , under WHOSE wings you have come for refuge." [Ruth (Roos) 2. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Come...let us worship and bow down before our BLESSED CREATOR!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
REDEMPTION & TORAH [An excerpt from Torah Club, Volume 5]
Then GOD spoke all these words, saying — "I am the LORD your GOD, WHO brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery." [Exodus/Shemot 20. 1-2]
The Festival of Shavuot (Pentecost) is the anniversary of the giving of the TORAH and the giving of the HOLY SPIRIT. As part of the commemoration, the Ten Commandments are read publicly in the Assembly on the Feast of Shavuot.
The first commandment is to believe in the LORD GOD and to accept HIS claim of ownership over us. Unless we accept the basic premise of GOD'S existence, no number of commandments will have any authority or meaning for us. The need for such a command demonstrates the incongruity of ascribing to morality without believing in a moral authority. If we accept the premise of objective morality, we must accept that there is a higher authority issuing that objective standard.
We also learn from this that redemption must precede commandments. Before we can receive the TORAH, we must already be saved. Israel ’s salvation from Egypt was not accorded to her on the basis of her obedience to the commandments. She was already redeemed (on no merit of her own) before the Laws at Sinai were given to her. Thus the first declaration at Mt. Sinai is a reminder of their redeemed status. Only because the Israelites were already saved are they able to receive the commands of ALMIGHTY GOD.
True legalism continually attempts to reverse this process by claiming that one’s obedience to certain commandments (or all the commandments) is the mechanism by which salvation is earned. The first of the Ten Commandments directly contradicts this notion. Salvation and relationship with GOD OMNISCIENT precedes the TORAH.

"Chag Shavuoth Samayach — Joyous Holiday !"

Day 49 of the Omer Malchut of Malchut― Nobility in Nobility
Be at peace knowing that God created a very special person ― you. Faithfully follow the LORD GOD. Love your enemies, neighbors, one another; live in the peace. And, when evil seeks to overcome, stand against him and, when all is done, remain standing. "Take up the whole armor of GOD, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." Ephesians 6:13
"I will praise YOU, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are YOUR works, and that my soul knows very well. How precious also are YOUR thoughts to me, O GOD! How great is the sum of them!" Psalms/Tehillym 139:14,17 "Many, O LORD my GOD, are YOUR wonderful works which YOU have done; and YOUR thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to YOU in order; if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered." Palms/Tehillym 40:5

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Real friends are those who, when you've made a fool of yourself, don't feel that you've done a permanent job.

THE MERCY SEAT
"You shall make a Mercy Seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide." [Exodus (Shemot) 25. 17 Tanakh, Torah]

Kapporeth is the Hebrew word meaning "mercy seat." It literally was a lid covering the articles of judgment against the children of Israel and all mankind. GOD'S Law, which was kept inside the Ark , condemned man [Romans 3. 20; 8. 34] as did HIS truth and life symbolized in the manna and the rod. Man could not keep GOD'S LAW, believe HIS TRUTH, and appropriate HIS LIFE. Without a covering, the Ark of the Covenant would have been a "Judgment Throne."

The Mercy Seat was not to be made out of wood, which represents humanity; but was made of pure gold, symbolical of DIVINITY. Mercy is of GOD, not of man. Thankfully, the OMNIPOTENT COVENANT KEEPER made the WAY of redemption, a COVERING or PROPITIATION for sin. Therefore, it is pure gold entirely. Only the MIGHTY CREATOR could fashion such a PROTECTION; and HE planned it before the very foundation of the earth. It is DIVINE all the way through!

The measurements of the Mercy Seat in width and length corresponds exactly with the Ark of the Covenant so it completely covered the contents of the Ark. The MASTER DESIGNER'S mercy is sufficient (because of the blood atonement) to cover over His JUDGMENT against us.

MESSIAH YESHUA is our "MERCY SEAT" for "if anyone sins, we have an ADVOCATE with the FATHER, JESUS CHRIST THE RIGHTEOUS. And HE HIMSELF is the PROPITIATION for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world." [1 John 2. 1 - 2]

We must understand that BIBLE "types or symbols" themselves are not perfect in every detail; only that which the type or symbol represents, is Perfect. Typology shows similarities or contrasts as well as different phases and aspects of the subject considered. The MERCY SEAT is MESSIAH YESHUA, and yet it is also GOD'S Throne upon which MESSIAH sits. The blood on the Mercy Seat is the requirement for atonement and yet it represents the INNOCENT SLAIN LAMB WHO stood alive in the midst of the Throne in Heaven!

Therefore, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH HIMSELF, with HIS atoning blood, is our Mercy Seat, where we can meet with GOD ALMIGHTY. Thus, the golden, blood-stained Mercy Seat becomes the very Throne of GOD, where HE meets with those who believe on HIM for salvation. "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." [Hebrews 4. 16]

It is a great privilege, honor and the blessing that our remarkable LORD GOD SUPREME has given those who have been redeemed by the precious blood of the GUILTLESS LAMB, to come into the Throne Room, the Holiest Place where we can commune with HIM at the Mercy Seat. Oh what a ASTOUNDING, ASTONISHING & WONDERFUL SAVIOR HE is!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Welcome Sabbath! We thank YOU, Great & MIGHTY GOD for by YOUR grace we were taught the blessed holiness of the weekly day of rest; and Sabbath is the sign of the tie that binds us to YOU.
Our beloved and delightful brethren, our joy and crown, we encourage you to stand firm, persevere in service to the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, HE will make it worth it all in HIS perfect time. We are reminded that justice is our duty and a better world our goal.

Day 48 of the Omer Yesod of Malchut― Bonding in Nobility
Self-confidence allows you to respect and trust GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY and ultimately bond ever so close with HIM. Knowing who you are in MESSIAH, we are confident "being justified freely by HIS grace through the redemption that is in CHRIST JESUS, WHOM GOD set forth as a propitiation by HIS blood, through faith." Romans 3:24-25 "For those who have served well...obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in CHRIST JESUS." 1 Timothy 3:13 Therefore, we can allow ourselves to respect and trust another's honorable leadership and ultimately bond with them. Draw me nearer to YOUR precious side, dear LORD, I long to be with YOU.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The reward of virtue is virtue.

WORTHY, O LORD
"Blessed are YOU, LORD, GOD OF ISRAEL our FATHER, from eternity to eternity. YOURS, LORD, are greatness, might, power, glory, splendor, triumph, victory, honor and majesty — Yes, all that is in heaven and on earth; to YOU, LORD, belong kingship and preeminence above all." [1 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 29. 10 - 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This is a part of King David's prayer at the time of Solomon's coronation as his successor. Although David and Solomon were the greatest kings of Israel , and in the world, David rightly acknowledged that the LORD GOD HIMSELF was the TRUE KING ETERNAL, not only of Israel , but of all heaven and earth. HE is the RENOWNED, SUPREME RULER — OMNIPOTENT, OMNIPRESENT LORD over all.

Even the cherubim will again repeat David's great prayer: "Give unto the LORD the glory due HIS NAME; bow down and worship the LORD, majestic in holiness." [Psalms (Tehillym) 29. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Worthy is the LAMB WHO was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!" [Revelation 5. 12] "YOU are worthy, O LORD, to receive glory and honor and power; for YOU created all things, and for YOUR pleasure they exist and were created." [Revelation 4. 11] "For by HIM all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through HIM and for HIM." [Colossians 1. 16]

Then soon after that, "the twenty-four elders" utter their prayer: "We give YOU thanks, O LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, the ONE WHO is and WHO was and WHO is to come, because YOU have taken to YOURSELF YOUR great power and have reined." [Revelation 11. 17] Alleluia! the LORD GOD OMNIPOTENT reigns!

Someday, every knee will bow and every tongue shall confess that MESSIAH YESHUA is KING of kings and LORD of lords. "I have established MY KING on Zion , MY holy mountain! So now, O kings, be prudent; accept instruction and discipline, you rulers of the earth! Kiss the SON, pay homage, reverence and honour to HIM in good faith, lest HE be angered, and your way be doomed in the mere flash of HIS anger. Blessed are all who take refuge and put their trust in HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 2. 6, 10, 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim] This gives added meaning with the proverb that teaches: "He who gives a straightforward answer is like giving a kiss." [Proverbs (Mishle) 24. 26 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In that day, "there shall be no more curse; but the Throne of GOD and of the LAMB shall be in it; and HIS servants shall serve HIM." [Revelation 22. 3] Hallelu'YAH! Blessed are those who put their trust in the MASTER.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !!
O INFINITE & MERCIFUL CREATOR , firm in the faith we are emboldened to seek YOUR PRESENCE, and we are assured that we shall find YOU if, with sincere hearts, we seek YOU. As the flowers of the field drink of the dew of heaven and of the radiance of the sun, so would we, lifting our spirits unto YOU, drink of the pure fountains of holiness. In YOU alone our souls rejoice, for YOU are our life, our joy, and our song. Amen.

Day 47 of the Omer Hod of Malchut ― Humility in Nobility
CREATOR GOD is Sovereign, and HE gives gifts to each individual. Hod of Malchut is the humble appreciation of this exceptional gift. Do not be proud, but appreciate the special qualities you were blessed with. Always acknowledge GOD for creating you with personal dignity, and ever give HIM thanks and praise. "Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for GOD resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." 1 Peter 5:5

The cross of the follower of the LORD YESHUA is compared to the Cross of MESSIAH in that it is a voluntary self-sacrifice for the needs of others. In other words: "I am identified with MESSIAH YESHUA in HIS Cross. The nails that were pounded into HIS hands were pounded into mine and now my work is HIS work. The nails that were driven into HIS feet were driven into mine and now my walk is HIS walk. The crown of thorns upon HIS head was pressed upon mine and now my thoughts are HIS thoughts. The spear that was thrust into HIS side was thrust into mine and now my life is laid down, my heart broken over the sins of others; I have entered into the fellowship of HIS sufferings. I have taken up my cross and I am following HIM."

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Wise people talk because they have something to say; fools because they have to say something.

HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL
"I will make MY HOLY NAME known among MY people Israel , and never again will I let MY HOLY NAME be profaned. And the nations shall know that I AM the LORD, the HOLY ONE in Israel ." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 39. 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This WONDERFUL NAME OF GOD, "QADOWSH ha'SHEM (HOLY, THE NAME)" was often used during the days of the later kings of Judah . The strong emphasis on this particular name during the later period of Judah 's kingdom probably was because of the prevalent un-holiness of the nation during those years, finally culminating in the captivity of Judah itself. CREATOR GOD stressed again and again that HE was the "HOLY ONE" and that "you shall sanctify yourselves and be holy, for I am holy." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 11. 44 Tanakh, Torah] {In Hebrew, the word for holy can be either "qadowsh/qadosh" — translates sacred, set apart.}

This theme is prominent in most of the 33 passages where this MAJESTIC NAME is used; but it is especially emphasized in its final incident. The context of this latter passage is the prophesied invasion of Israel by "Gog of the land of Magog " who will "advance upon MY people of Israel like a cloud covering the earth...in the latter days." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 38. 2, 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im] At that time, says the LORD, "a terrible earthquake shall befall the land of Israel ; and I will manifest MY greatness and MY holiness, and make MYSELF known in the sight of many nations. And they shall know that I am the LORD." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 38. 19, 23 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Then at last, HIS people will never pollute HIS HOLY NAME any more and "from that time on, the House of Israel shall know that I the LORD am their GOD — when they dwell in their land secure and untroubled, when I have brought them back from among the peoples and gathered them out of the lands of their enemies and have manifested MY holiness through them in the sight of many nations. They shall know that I the LORD am their GOD when, having exiled them among the nations, I will gather them back into their land and leave none of them behind. I will never again hide MY face from them, for I will pour out MY SPIRIT upon the House of Israel — declares the LORD GOD." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 39. 22, 29 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Beyond doubt, this will fully come about when our wonderful LORD MESSIAH YESHUA returns and sets up HIS Kingdom. Are you looking for HIS return? It is sure to happen soon, HIS coming for HIS Church is so very near!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Today is Yom ha’Meyuchas – the Day of Distinction: "Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel : 'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to MYSELF. Now therefore, if you will indeed obey MY voice and keep MY covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to ME above all people; for all the earth is MINE. And you shall be to ME a kingdom of priests and a holy nation." Exodus/Shemot 19:3-6
Eternal is YOUR power, O LORD, YOU are mighty to save. In lovingkindness YOU sustain the living; in the multitude of YOUR mercies, YOU preserve all; YOU uphold the falling, heal the sick; bring freedom to the captives and keep faith with YOUR children in death as in life. Who is like unto YOU, ALMIGHTY GOD, AUTHOR of life and death, SOURCE of salvation? Praised are YOU, O LORD, WHO has implanted within us immortal life. How can we help but worship, adore and praise YOU our HOPE, our SALVATION!

Day 46 of the Omer Netzach of Malchut ― Endurance in Nobility
A person's dignity and a leader's success are tested by his endurance level. Will and determination reflect the power and majesty of the human spirit. Be determined to reach your goals; strong ins my conviction to fight for a dignified cause; confident in the HOLY WORD OF GOD.
Know in WHOM you believe: "I know WHOM I have believed and am persuaded that HE is able to keep what I have committed to HIM until that Day." 2 Timothy 1:12 "Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of GOD commit their souls to HIM in doing good, as to a faithful CREATOR." 1 Peter 4:19

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Prayer is a path where there is none.

ROCK OF JUDGMENT & PROVISION
"The LORD spoke to Moses saying, — You and your brother Aaron take the rod and assemble the community, and before their very eyes speak to the rock (Hebrew: cela —rock of provision) to yield its water. Thus you shall produce water for them from the rock and provide drink for the congregation and their beasts." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 20. 7 - 8 Tanakh, Torah]

Once before under similar circumstances, OMNIPOTENT GOD had Moses strike the rock (Hebrew: t'sur —rock of judgment) in Horeb to produce its waters for the thirsty Israelites. [Exodus/Shemot 17. 6] Both times a spring of water erupted which had then supplied their needs. When the Israelites started taking the supply for granted instead of being grateful for their blessings, then the HOLY ONE dried up the miraculous waters. The LORD, the FOUNTAIN OF LIVING WATERS desired for them to come to HIM, their "SOURCE" of blessings, and ask once again. Instead, they grumbled and forgot all ALMIGHTY GOD'S previous gifts.

Therefore, YEHOWAH told Moses to do the asking for them, as they watched. Moses was to take the Rod of GOD, by which all the miracles were performed. Thus showing the peoples that Moses and Aaron were still their leaders, and the GREAT GOD OF HOSTS was still able to supply their needs. In his anger, however, Moses first rebuked the doubting Israelites, then struck the rock.

The ROCK OF JUDGMENT and the ROCK OF PROVISION both picture the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH; HE was struck in judgment for us, once and for all; and ever after we are to SPEAK to HIM. For their disobedience and neglect to bless the TRUE & LIVING GOD in the eyes of the children of Israel, neither Moses nor Aaron were allowed to enter Canaan, the Promised Land.

The EL ELYON (GOD MOST HIGH) alone is "THE ONE" WHO is due all trust, confidence, honor, glory and praise. The MASTER CREATOR desires that we come to HIM in faith believing, and with thankful hearts for HIS abundant provisions and loving care. Oh that we would respect and obey HIS WORD and find life abundantly blessed, that is HIS perfect will for each of our lives…Obedience!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Wishing you a blessed Rosh Chodesh as we welcoming the month of Sivan
The month of Sivan holds three essential features: vision, responsibility, care as the Israelites were given the Promised Land; its history in HOLY SCRIPTURE.
1 Sivan- Israelites arrive in the wilderness of Sinai. [Exodus/Shemot 19:1]
6 Sivan- The giving of the TORAH at Sinai. [Exodus/Shemot 19:16-25]
10-16 Sivan- Possible week that Zechariah was visited by Gabriel. [Luke 1:1-23]
MOST HOLY LORD, continue to impart YOUR blessing upon us. Teach us to seek YOU evermore within the sanctuary of our souls, within the tabernacle of YOUR world, and in the congregation of YOUR worshipers. May the grace of our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH be with you always, Amen!

Day 45 of the Omer Tiferet of Malchut― Compassion in Nobility
A good leader is a compassionate one. Compassion should never be compromised because of your authority. An integral part of dignity is compassion. Tiferet ― harmony ― is critical for successful leadership. "Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous." Psalms/Tehillym 112:4 "Have compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous ― not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling; but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing." 1 Peter 3:8-9

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Never leave a person in the dark, always leave them searching for the light.

GOD OMNIPOTENT
"Job said in reply to the LORD — I know that YOU can do everything, that nothing YOU propose is impossible for YOU." [Job (Iyob) 42. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This was the testimony of Job at the end of his sufferings, as GOD revealed HIMSELF to him and Job acknowledged both the omnipotence and omniscience of his MAKER, WHOSE NAME is "EL SHADDAI (GOD ALMIGHTY)." [Genesis (Bereshith) 35. 11 Tanakh, Torah] "Ah LORD GOD! YOU made heaven and earth by YOUR great might and outstretched arm. Nothing is too wondrous for YOU!" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 32. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Furthermore, the MIGHTY CREATOR required neither time nor process to create, make, and complete the infinite cosmos in all its complexity. "By the WORD OF THE LORD the heavens were made; by the BREATH of HIS mouth, all their host. For HE spoke, and it was; HE commanded, and it endured." [Psalms (Tehillym) 33. 6, 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Because of HIS great might and vast power, not one fails to appear." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 40. 26 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

In light of this truth, all the schemes of man are superficial and trivial. "The nations are but a drop in a bucket, reckoned as dust on a balance. The very coastlands the ALMIGHTY lifts like specks." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 40. 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im] How foolish man is to boast of their doings!

The HOLY OMNIPOTENT ONE and HIS WORD are trustworthy — and, "I am persuaded neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of GOD which is in CHRIST JESUS our LORD." [Romans 8. 38 - 39] In all things we are more than conquerors through YESHUA ha'MASHIACH WHO loves us. Absolutely magnificent and great is HIS faithfulness!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Seek the LORD while HE may be found, call upon HIM while HE is near. Diligently obey the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, incline your ear to the MASTER and you will live. O LORD GOD, send forth YOUR Light and YOUR Truth to those who grope in darkness, and the knowledge of YOU to those who follow after strange gods; and may YOUR House be called "THE HOUSE OF PRAYER" for all people. Grant that wherever a heart sighs in anguish under the burden of guilt, wherever a soul yearns to return to YOU, it may feel the effect of YOUR pardoning love and mercy, Amen!

Day 44 of the Omer Gevurah of Malchut― Discipline in Nobility
Although sovereignty is loving, it needs to be balanced with discipline. Effective leadership is built on authority and discipline. There is another factor in the discipline of sovereignty: determining the area in which you have jurisdiction and authority. Recognize when you are not an authority and don’t exercise authority in unwarranted situations. Be aware of your limitations as well as your strengths. Respect the authority of others. The faithful and wise steward ruled over his MASTER’S household and heard HIM say, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your LORD." Matthew 25:23 "We have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the FATHER of spirits and live?" Hebrews 12:9

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
GOD gives HIS best to those who leave the choices with HIM.

ENGRAVED IN THE ROCK
"O that my words were written down; would they were inscribed in a book! That they were incised (engraved, carved, chiseled, cut into) on a rock forever with iron stylus and lead!" [Job (Iyob) 19. 23 - 24 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In the midst of terrible calamities and sufferings, righteous Job expressed a heartfelt longing to write down his experiences and meditations so others coming along later might know and understand. No doubt, this longing led him to do just that, after the LORD GOD finally restored him to health and prosperity, gave him seven more sons and three beautiful daughters, blessing Job’s latter years of life more than the former. Afterward, he lived one hundred and forty years to see four generations of sons and grandsons, and died old and contented.

Job evidently wrote his book. As the Text mentions, it apparently was not written on some perishable material but, on tablets of stone with a pen of iron so that his testimony might be permanently available to all future generations. Indeed, GOD in HIS providence has ordained exactly that, by incorporating it in the HOLY SCRIPTURES. Beyond doubt, Job’s "tongue is the pen of an expert scribe." [Psalms (Tehillym) 45. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The essence of Job’s testimony is certainly one of the most wonderful statements of faith ever captured and penned, made all the more remarkable in view of his circumstances when he uttered it, and in light of limited knowledge of GOD’S plan of redemption obtainable in Job’s time.

With all confidence, Job professed — "I know that my REDEEMER lives; in the end He will stand at last on the earth — This, after my skin is destroyed. Yet I know that in my flesh I shall see GOD, WHOM I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!" [Job (Iyob) 19. 25 - 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Long before Moses days, Job knew that the ALMIGHTY ONE HIMSELF would become, not just as the world’s REDEEMER from its bondage under the Great Curse, but to be his own personal SAVIOR! Job even sensed the necessity of GOD’S bodily incarnation, for he said HE would stand on the earth in the latter days. Job knew that he himself would someday be resurrected from the dead and given a new body, and most important, actually see GOD.

Other men of GOD came to this same reality. Isaiah versed this song of salvation, "Your dead shall live; together with my dead body they shall arise! Awake and shout for joy, you who dwell in the dust — For your dew is like the dew on fresh herbs; and the land shall cast out the dead (come to life)." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 26. 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Daniel was given this prophecy of the End Times: "At that time your people shall be delivered, all who is found inscribed in the Book. Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to eternal life, others to shame, to everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will be radiant like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness will be like the stars forever and ever." [Daniel (Danyel) 12. 1b - 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

From Job’s time throughout the centuries, massive amounts of people have seen what was conscientiously written in Job, Isaiah and Daniel’s testimony for they were written forever in THE BOOK of books, that you may know that there is no one like the LORD our GOD, that you may believe HIM, and trust completely in the LIVING, LOVING REDEEMER.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
All praise, honor, glory and adoration to our KING and to HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN PRECIOUS SON! Holy, righteous, just and true now and forever is our SOVEREIGN ONE. Thank YOU FATHER, for the Holy City dressed as a bride, which will descend and be inhabited by YOUR Holy People; and YOU will reign forever and evermore! HalleluYAH!

Celebrating Yom Yerusalayim — Jerusalem Day "If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget her skill. If I do not remember you, let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth— If I do not exalt Jerusalem above my chief joy." Psalms/Tehillym 137:5-6 GOD has put HIS NAME in Jerusalem : "In this House, and in Jerusalem , which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel , will I put MY NAME forever." 2 Kings/Melakhim Bet 21:7b As it goes for Jerusalem, so it will go for the rest of the world...do not be deceive into thinking anything less.

Through the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, Israel will be renowned, joyous, famous and glorious above all the nations on earth. Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 33.9 You are the watchmen GOD has placed on the walls of Jerusalem . "I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem ; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give HIM no rest till HE establishes and till HE makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth." Isaiah/Yeshayah 62:6-7

WEEK 7 ― MALCHUT: SOVEREIGNTY, LEADERSHIP
During the seventh and final week of counting the Omer, we examine and refine the attribute of Malchut ― nobility, sovereignty and leadership. Sovereignty is a state of being rather than an activity. Nobility is a passive expression of human dignity that has nothing of its own except that which it receives from the other six emotions. True leadership is the art of selflessness; it is only a reflection of the HIGH & LOFTY ONE. Malchut manifests and actualizes the character and majesty of the human spirit. It is the very fiber of what makes us human, individuals who are made in the Image of GOD.
Malchut is a sense of belonging. Knowing that you matter and that you make a difference. That you have the ability to be a proficient leader in your own right, being led by the MASTER DESIGNER. This fact gives you independence and confidence; a feeling of certainty and authority. It is like a mother lovingly cradles her child in her arms and the child's eyes meet the mother's affectionate eyes, the child receives the message: "I am wanted and needed in this world. I have a comfortable place where I will always be loved. I have nothing to fear. I feel like royalty in my heart." This is Malchut, a type of kingship, knowing your worth and who you are in the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA.

Day 43 of the Omer Chesed of Malchut ― Loving-kindness in Nobility
Healthy control (power, influence) is always kind and loving. An effective leader needs to be warm and considerate. Be more loving; exercise your authority and leadership in a caring manner; not demanding. Be kind for your subordinates. JESUS said, "love one another as I have loved you." John 15:12-13 And serve one another "with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love." Ephesians 4:2

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Never confuse culture with morality.

DAVID’S HERITAGE
"Naomi took the child and held him to her bosom, and became a nurse to him. Also the neighbor women gave him a name, saying — "A son is born to Naomi!" They named him Obed; he is the father of Jesse, the father of David." [Ruth (Roos) 4. 16 - 17 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Book of Ruth is an incredible love story laced with devotion and redemption, a story of a woman who forsakes her pagan heritage and clings to the people of Israel and the GOD OF ISRAEL. Because of her faithfulness at a time of national faithlessness, the ALMIGHTY ONE rewards her by giving her a new husband (Boaz), a son (Obed, the grandfather of David), and a privileged position being in the lineage of David (her great-grandson, the greatest king of Israel), and the MESSIAH, the KINSMAN-REDEEMER (Hebrew: go’el).

David must have been amazed at the wonderful kindness of the GRACIOUS MASTER that brought Ruth the Moabitess into his ancestry despite the direct and specific command that stipulated that a Moabites should not be brought into the congregation of the LORD, "An Ammonite or Moabite (both of these nations were the offspring of incest), shall not be admitted into the congregation of the LORD; none of his descendants, even to the tenth generation shall enter the congregation of the LORD." [Deuteronomy (Davarim) 23. 3 Tanakh, Torah] Yet here we see even the ancestry of YESHUA, the SON OF THE LIVING GOD, preparing to take on a curse from HIS earthly roots.

Another astonishing relative in David’s background was Nahshon. According to Jacob, Nahshon would have been a member from the tribe of Judah who would be ruler over the children of Israel . [Genesis/Bereshith 49. 9 - 12] Nahshon (the grandfather of Boaz, Ruth’s husband) had been the chief captain of the tribe of Judah at the time Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt . "With you shall be a man from each tribe, each one the head of his father's house...These are the names of the men who shall assist you...from the tribe of Judah (praised, celebrated), Nahshon (translates: enchanter) son of Amminadab (my kinsman is noble)." [Numbers (Midbar) 1. 4, 5, 7 Tanakh, Torah] Obviously, Nahshon failed to stand with Joshua and Caleb and was one of many who died in the wilderness because he rejected GOD’S promises. Of the elders, only Caleb and Joshua were allowed to enter the Promised Land because they believed GOD. [Numbers/Midbar 14. 21 - 24] Nevertheless, Nahshon was important in David’s lineage.

Like each of us, we have been brought into the family of the GREAT KING, not because of our own merits, but by HIS incredibly remarkable grace! We are born anew "not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of GOD." [John 1. 13] "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to HIS mercy HE saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the HOLY SPIRIT." [Titus 3. 5 - 6]

How amazing, when one is born-again they shall not only see but be an eternal part of the KINGDOM OF GOD . HalleluYAH! What a blessed difference our LORD & SAVIOR makes in our lives.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
As we bid farewell to Shabbas, our prayer is that GOD, WHO separates the holy from the secular, forgive our sins, guide our life, fill our upcoming week with HIS DIVINE PRESENCE. May the GOD OF HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in HIM, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.
Have a wonderful week expecting great blessings from our WONDERFUL LORD. Be sure to brighten others with encouragement and a joyful smile as you share some of the sweetness of Sabbath throughout your week days!

Day 42 of the Omer Malchut of Yesod ― Nobility in Bonding
Bonding must enhance a person's dignity (self-respect) while strengthening your own. I discovered this while I was reading my BIBLE. The LORD YESHUA taught two great commands: The first and utmost is to love GOD; the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. [Mark 12:28-31]
I came from the religious background where we were to put others first and deny ourselves. Then I understood, I need to love strangers the way I love friends ― with compassion…everyone needs to feel important. Once I grasped that message, I began treating strangers as I would anyone else ― kindly and respectfully, without condemning or judging. That decision enabled me to like myself more and to continue to grow. Your belief needs to be based on reality ― so develop an eye for noticing sparks of potential in others. Be enthusiastic in selling a person to himself. Be submissive to a superior, affable (pleasant, friendly) to a suppliant (beggar), and receive all men with cheerfulness. Then, give your problems completely to the LORD GOD and find rest in HIM. Thus says the LORD GOD, the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL: "You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD." Leviticus/Vayikra 19:18 "If you really fulfill the Royal Law according to the SCRIPTURE ― You shall love your neighbor as yourself ― you do well." James 2:8

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The believer’s Coronation Day takes place at death when he is raised to a higher realm of glory.

THE CHOSEN
"But we are bound to give thanks to GOD always for you, brethren beloved by the LORD, because GOD from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the SPIRIT and belief in the truth, to which HE called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our LORD JESUS CHRIST." [2 Thessalonians 2. 13 - 14]

The ALMIGHTY ONE — blessed be HE, has established an order for HIS great plan of salvation. GOD OMNIPOTENT had chosen these Thessalonian believers to salvation even before they were born, for it was from the beginning. Then HE called them and they heard the GOSPEL, believed the truth, and were sanctified (set apart) by the Precious HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, eventually destined to be glorified in Messiah Yeshua.

To accomplish this, the HOLY SPIRIT used human messengers. In a vision, the GENTLE MASTER directed Paul to go to Macedonia to preach the GOSPEL [Acts 16. 9] where he eventually reached Thessalonica and taught the Truth to those he found in the Synagogue. However, of the many who were "called" as Paul preached and taught, only "some of them were persuaded" and believed and obey. [Acts 17. 4] However, most of Paul's listeners had not been "chosen" so they resisted the "call" and refused to believe. As the LORD YESHUA said — "Many are called, but few chosen, so the last will be first, and the first last." [Matthew 20. 16]

Such a truth may be difficult to understand with our finite minds, but like Paul "we are bound to give thanks to GOD always" that we who believe today, like the Thessalonian believers, have been both "chosen in HIM before the foundations of the world" [Ephesians 1. 4], and "called you out of darkness into HIS marvelous light." [1 Peter 2. 9]

As true priests of the LIVING GOD, we have been chosen, called, committed (to the ministry), cleansed, clothed (with holy garments), consecrated, christened (anointed), conformed and commissioned (assigned duties). As we, the Royal Priests in the NEW COVENANT, march through earth's wilderness, let us truly be called out from the world, cleansed, clothed, consecrated and commissioned with the ANOINTING OIL upon each of us. Each one performing the assigned task as the MOST HIGH GOD has given it to them; each bearing the TRUE TESTIMONY of the "precious things" witnessing in thought, word and deed that we are Tabernacles of the LOVING MASTER showing forth HIS POWER, PRESENCE, and MIRACULOUS LIFE!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Welcome Sabbath! – Queen of the week! Praised are YOU, YEHOWAH, our GOD, SOVEREIGN of the Universe, WHO makes us holy with YOUR mitzvoth and favors us with the Holy Shabbat, lovingly and graciously given to us, a memorial of the act of creation, first of the holy assemblies. Shabbat: The one day a week we unplug from the never-ending noise and hard work of doing to refocus on just being. Shabbat brings an inner peace within oneself, and provides a weekly opportunity to connect and relate to family, friends and, more vital, to GOD. Jewish life is built around the family coming together – to eat, to learn, to celebrate, to mourn, and most importantly to transmit the torch of our shared heritage to the next generation. We nurture the awareness that GOD is actively involved in everything. There are no accidents; everything that happens to us is purposeful and for the best. We can feel secure knowing that we are wrapped in GOD’S loving embrace. Enjoy the peace and harmony of Shabbat!

Day 41 of the Omer Yesod of Yesod― Bonding in Bonding
Every person needs and has the capacity to bond with other people, with significant undertakings and with meaningful experiences. Remember that GOD gave you a loving heart that will allow you to constructively help others instead of thinking only of your own needs. "For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as GOD has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in CHRIST, and individually members of one another." Romans 12:3-5

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The average person, when left alone with their thoughts, is tremendously lonely.

WITH YOU ALWAYS
"For the sake of HIS GREAT NAME, the LORD will never abandon HIS people, because it has pleased the LORD to make you HIS people." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 12. 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This is the promise the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL made to HIS chosen people, Israel . "Remember, I am with you: I will protect you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you." [Genesis (Bereshith) 28. 15 Tanakh, Torah]

To Joshua, the promise was given — "No one shall be able to resist you as long as you live. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you nor forsake you." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 1. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Be strong and of good courage (Hebrew: chazaq v’amats) be not in fear or in dread of them; for the LORD ELOHEYK HIMSELF marches with you; HE will not fail you or forsake you." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 31. 6 Tanakh, Torah] In this verse, Moses is addressing the nation of Israel and he says, "Be strong and of good courage..." Here, the Hebrew tense is the imperative plural tense thus the Hebrew says "Hizku v'imtzu." Hazaq v'ematz is the singular imperative and this is the Hebrew when the ALMIGHTY speaks directly to Joshua and commands him to be strong and of good courage in Joshua 1:6.

The promises of the ALMIGHTY ONE, our SHIELD OF TRUTH, are certain and sure — infallible to all who trust in HIM. There are many faithful assurances in HOLY SCRIPTURES, one that especially reveals GOD'S heart declares: "The poor and needy seek water on the homeward march through the desert and there is none, their tongue is parched with thirst. I, YEHOWAH, will hear them. I, ELOHEY OF ISRAEL, will not forsake them." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 41. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The most precious to the believers now says — "I will never leave you nor forsake you." [Hebrews 13. 5] Paul also was most convinced of this and expounded — "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of GOD which is in CHRIST JESUS our LORD." [Romans 8. 38 - 39]

The last words our LORD MESSIAH YESHUA promised were — "I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen" [Matthew 28. 20] And moreover, the MOST HOLY & TRUE ONE always keeps HIS promises, HE never fails.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Zey ha’yom asaw ADONAI, nagilah ve-neesmechah voh...This is the day the LORD has made, we will rejoice and we will be glad in it!
Blessings to all who love Zion ! We were greatly blessed when the HOLY ONE has brought us out of slavery from Egypt and took HIS people directly to Mount Sinai . There HE gave us the Law to keep us free from slavery (to sin). Then, HE gave us HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, YESHUA the MESSIAH to keep us free and give us true peace and eternal rest in HIM. HalleluYAH! What a wonderful SAVIOUR, let us worship and adore HIM!

Day 40 of the Omer Hod of Yesod― Humility of Bonding
Humility is crucial in healthy bonding. Arrogance and preoccupation with your own desires and needs separates you from others and divides people. Humility allows you to appreciate others and be completely thankful and dependent on the LOVING SAVIOR. Healthy bonding is the union of two distinct people, with independent personalities, who join for a higher purpose than satisfying your own needs. True humility comes from recognizing and acknowledging the need of ALMIGHTY GOD in your life, and putting HIM and others above yourself. It is GOD WHO gives us the capacity to unite with others, despite our distinctions. "Above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins." 1 Peter 4:8 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are MY disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35

This 40th day of the Omer was the day the LORD YESHUA ascended back to GOD after HIS death and resurrection ― filling all things. "JESUS, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the SCRIPTURE might be fulfilled, said..."It is finished!" John 19:28, 30 "While they watched, HE was taken up, and a cloud received HIM out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as HE went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, "Men of Galilee , why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same JESUS, WHO was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw HIM go into heaven." Acts 1:9-11

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.
