I find these situations can be quite trying, you want to be christian like but at same time you are only human. Sometimes these people assume your too nice so won't do anything about it. I must admit I am quick to lose my rag so I would def have to send someone else. Have a word with your neighbours before doing anything so then you have their support and also any comebacks will not be solely directed at you. If your neighbours do not want to get involved, perhaps write a note, which could begin with " I tried knocking, but you didnt hear me over the loud music" lol, (JOKE).
I think Elaines advice is good but do be careful, we never know what people are really like/capable of.

I can certainly understand you wanting to to show the love of Jesus to your neighbour.
As you have already approached them but they in turn have said some sweet words to you but then turned around and ignored...
You have put up with this situation for some time and no way should you be removing yourself Emma.
I believe all we go through God is able to make us stronger in every situation even though it may not seem so at that time.

If you have neighbours who are also experiencing this problem in my opinion it would be good if you could arrange to go together,
to the door of the noisy neighbour and with a few well chosen words,
and spokesperson who will not lose their cool.
My Mum used to always say put your words on your hand before you say them.

First to say:
We have come here as friends and neighbours, we really do not want to have to take steps which could make you have to leave your home.
We have come around to say your loud music is disturbing us.
We are asking politely to lower the tone and if you chose to ignore then you leave us no alternative but to
(immediately)
contact the authorities
we are hoping you and us can agree as we want no bad feelings and want to live here together and be neigbourly and help you if ever you want to call on us.
How about that?
If they tell you to GO FORTH ...... and continue in the bad ways then call the police (immediately) and explain the action you have taken individually and corporately.
There are some helplines which you may be unaware of
which I will try find to post up should this not be of help
and/or maybe someone else comes up with a better solution.

I could post up what happened in one of my circumstance but that would not be helpful at this point for your post.

as christians how would you deal with noisy neighbours i have a problem at the momentwith music blaring all through the day and night and its driving me crazy i have had a word with those concerned and they said they will not play it so loud in the evening night which is what i asked for only to them 2 min latere to put the music on as loud as ever i have been thinking about reporting them to the council and even early hrs thought about calling the police yes of course iv prayed about this but apart from moving which im considering havent got a clue what to do so as christians what do people feel is the right aproach in this situation while i still wont the light of God to show and not to be seen as just the complainging neighbour
