A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Before a sinner can understand the love of GOD, he must first understand the holiness of GOD.  GOD is angry with the wicked — this warning must to be thundered out repeatedly to this ungodly age.

COMING JUDGMENT
"For it is written — As I live, says the LORD, every knee shall bow to ME, and every tongue shall confess to GOD. So then each of us shall give account of himself to GOD." [Romans 14. 11 - 12]

Even life is not certain, but everyone can be certain that meeting the HOLY CREATOR GOD to give an account of our life is positively absolutely certain.  Judgment is appointed, "and as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment." [Hebrews 9. 27] The OLD COVENANT also tells of the coming judgment, "prepare to meet your GOD, O Israel! Behold! HE WHO formed the mountains, and created the wind, WHO has told man what HIS wish is, WHO turns darkness into daybreak, and treads upon the high places of the earth — HIS NAME is YEHOWAH, the GOD OF HOSTS" [Amos/Amus 4. 12 - 13] warned the Prophet Amos.

There is no fear of judgment for the true believer, however for "there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in CHRIST JESUS, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the SPIRIT. For the Law of the SPIRIT OF LIFE in MESSIAH Y’SHUA has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the Law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, GOD did by sending HIS OWN SON in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: HE condemned sin in the flesh." [Romans 8. 1 - 3]  The LORD JESUS already paid for our redemption when HE died on the cruel cross and then arose from the dead three days later victoriously.  Y’SHUA was "delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification." [Romans 4. 25]

HOLY SCRIPTURES also alerts us to the fact that "we must all appear before the JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the LORD, we persuade men; but we are well known to GOD." [2 Corinthians 5. 10 – 11]   Our works will be judged by fire: "Each one's work will become clear; for The Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire." [1 Corinthians 3. 13 - 15]

For those that die unrepentant in sin, not having trusted in the atoning blood and redemptive work of MESSIAH Y’SHUA will face a horrible judgment. The awesome scene is described by John in the Book of Revelation the prophecy of their coming fate: "I saw the dead, small and great, standing before GOD, and books were opened. And another BOOK was opened, which is the BOOK OF LIFE. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the BOOK OF LIFE was cast into the Lake of Fire." [Revelation 20. 12 - 15]   Works cannot and will not save anyone!  Therefore, I cherish and trust in the CHRIST of the cross.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!

Sabbath of Terumah – “Heave Offering” [Reading: Exodus 25:1-27:19; 1 Kings 5:12-6:13; Mark 12:35-44]

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Apologizing does not always mean that you are wrong and the other person is right; it means you value your friendship more than your ego.

THIS SAME JESUS
"JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday, today, and forever." [Hebrews 13.8]

When the LORD Y’SHUA rose from the dead, then later ascended into heaven, HIS body was immortal, no longer subject to death — yet it was a physical body, capable of being seen and heard and touched, even capable of eating with HIS disciples. HE was clearly recognizable, yet could quickly go up from earth to heaven and could pass through a solid wall. As HE ascended, two angelic messengers said: "This same JESUS, WHO was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw HIM go into heaven." [Acts 1. 11] Y’SHUA was immeasurably different after HIS resurrection, yet Peter could also proclaim "that GOD has made this JESUS, WHOM you crucified, both LORD and CHRIST." [Acts 2. 36]

Furthermore, even when the HOLY RESURRECTED ONE returns and assumes the eternal throne of the universe, HE will still be the same. "But to the SON HE says: "YOUR throne, O GOD, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of YOUR Kingdom…they will be changed. But YOU are the same, and YOUR years will not fail." [Hebrews 1. 8 - 12] The sons of Korah had sung this in a song of love in the OLD COVENANT "YOUR Throne, O GOD, is everlasting; a royal scepter of righteousness is the scepter of YOUR Kingdom. YOU love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore GOD, YOUR GOD, has chosen to anoint YOU with the oil of gladness more than YOUR companions." [Psalms (Tehillym) 45. 6 – 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This was the same JESUS WHOM John the Baptizer identified at the beginning of HIS earthly ministry. "HE WHO sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the SPIRIT descending, and remaining on HIM, this is HE WHO baptizes with the HOLY SPIRIT. And I have seen and testified that this is the SON OF GOD.'" [John 1. 33 - 34]

Actually, before HIS baptism, and even before Y’SHUA’S incarnation, HE was the same, "In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. HE was in the beginning with GOD." [John 1. 1 - 2] This same JESUS WHO lived among men, identified by John the Baptizer as the SON OF GOD, and WHO died on the cruel, rugged cross is the ETERNAL WORD by WHOM all things were made, as well as the resurrected SAVIOR and soon-coming KING OF GLORY. Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH is truly "the same yesterday, today, and forever." We undoubtedly can place all our hope, trust, and confidence in the ONE WHO is constant, unwavering, steadfast and unparalleled in HIS commitment to us, HIS dearly loved children.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world of YOUR creation.. May YOUR will be fulfilled and YOUR sovereignty revealed in the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel, Amen. May YOU, MOST HOLY ONE, be blessed, praised & honoured, extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above all else throughout eternity. Blessed are YOU beyond all blessings & hymns, praises & consolations that may be uttered in this world, Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
We have freedom of will to determine the shape of tomorrow by what we do today.

KINGDOM CHARACTERISTICS
"YOUR Kingdom come. YOUR will be done on earth as it is in heaven." [Luke 11. 2]

The Kingdom Established and the saints reign with MESSIAH:  "And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to JESUS and for the WORD OF GOD, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with MESSIAH for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of GOD and of CHRIST, and shall reign with HIM a thousand years." [Revelation 20. 4 - 6]

There is a multitude from the Great Tribulation: "After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the Throne and before the LAMB, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying — Salvation belongs to our GOD WHO sits on the Throne, and to the LAMB! — All the angels stood around the Throne and the elders and the four Living Creatures, and fell on their faces before the Throne and worshiped GOD, saying — Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honour and power and might, be to our GOD forever and ever. Amen. — Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?" And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me —These are the ones who come out of the Great Tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the LAMB. Therefore they are before the Throne of GOD, and serve HIM day and night in HIS Temple. And HE WHO sits on the Throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the LAMB WHO is in the midst of the Throne will shepherd them and lead them to Living Fountains of waters. And GOD will wipe away every tear from their eyes."  [Revelation 7. 9 - 17]

At last, the prayer of MESSIAH Y’SHUA is fulfilled.  It has always been in GOD'S plans for mortals to enter the Thousand-Year-Reign of Peace to complete HIS plan for mankind reigning from Jerusalem,  "At that time they (men) shall call Jerusalem "The Throne of the LORD" — and all nations shall assemble there, in the NAME OF THE LORD, at Jerusalem." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 3. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Righteousness (virtue, honor, decency, etc.) will reign: "The Kingship and dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under Heaven, will be given to the people, the saints of the MOST HIGH. HIS Kingdom is an Everlasting Kingdom and all dominions shall serve and obey HIM." [Daniel (Danyel) 7. 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  "A Throne will be established in mercy; in truth ONE shall sit on it in the Tabernacle of David, ONE WHO judges and seeks justice and is zealous to exercise righteousness." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 16. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "See, a time is coming — declares the LORD — when I will raise up to David the RIGHTEOUS BRANCH. HE shall reign as KING and shall prosper, and HE shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In HIS days Judah will be delivered and Israel will dwell secure. This is HIS NAME by which HE shall be called: YEHOWAH TSIDQENU (THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS/VINDICATOR {the Righteousness of us})." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "I will restore your judges as of old, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called City of Righteousness, the Faithful City. Zion shall be redeemed with justice; her repentant ones with righteousness." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 1. 26 - 27 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There will be a River of Healing: "Then he brought me back to the door of the Temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the Temple...I saw very many trees on both banks of the river. "This water" — he told me — "runs out to the eastern region and flows into the eastern region, goes down into the Arabah, and when it comes into the Sea, into the (Dead) Sea, its waters are healed. Every living creature that swims, wherever the rivers go, will live. The fish will be a very abundant once these waters have reached there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes. Fishermen will stand by it all the way from En-Gedi to En-Eglaim; it shall be a place for drying their nets. The fish will be like the various kinds of fish of the Great Sea (Mediterranean), exceedingly many. But its swamps and marshes will not be healed; they will serve to supply salt. All kinds of trees for food will grow on both banks of the river; their leaves will not wither nor their fruit fail; they will yield new fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the Temple. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 47. 1, 7 - 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There will be Universal Peace:  "The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard lie down with the kid, the calf and the young lion and the fatling shall feed together; and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together; and the lion, like the ox, shall eat straw. The babe shall play by the viper hole, and the infant shall put his hand in the adder's den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all MY Holy Mountain, for the earth shall be filled with devotion to the LORD as waters cover the sea." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 11. 6 - 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"HE (THE LORD OF THE UNIVERSE) will judge between the nations, and settle disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: Nation shall not take up sword against nation, they shall never again know war." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 2. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There  are great riches awaiting the over-comer. [see Revelation 2.7, 11, 17, 26 - 27; 3.5, 12, 21; 21.7]  So, today, if you will hear the voice of the LORD Y’SHUA, do not harden your hearts as in rebellion.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Oh, that men would give thanks to the MASTER OF MERCY & TRUTH for HIS steadfast love; that they would consider their latter end and return to the WONDROUS CREATOR. The LORD remembers HIS own, so when I call to mind, I have hope. GOD is merciful, gracious and slow to anger therefore we are not consumed. HIS compassions do not fail, they are new every morning. HE shows compassion according to the multitude of HIS mercies, HIS faithfulness is great. For those who wait on HIM, the LORD is good; and souls that hunger after HIM shall be satisfied, fully contented in HIS PRESENCE.
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Fear is the father of courage, the grandfather of humility, and the patriarch of prayer.

TENT MAKER
"Speak to the Israelite people and instruct them to make for themselves fringes on the corners of their garments throughout the ages; let them attach a cord of blue to the fringe at each corner. That shall be your fringe; look at it and recall all the commandments of the LORD and observe them, so that you do not follow your heart and eyes in your lustful urge. Thus you shall be reminded to observe all MY commandments and to be holy to your GOD." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 15. 38 - 40 Tanakh, Torah]

Jewish men use the Tallith (prayer shawl) to wrap themselves in during their daily prayers and devotions.  This is known as their "tent of prayer." The Tallith and the fringe in each of its four corners is artistically made.  The fringe itself has a purpose in every strand, wrapping, and knot.  It is made by using eight strands precisely wrapped plus the five knots at various positions to total 613, which is the exact number of commandments in the TORAH.  The LORD GOD instructed the Israelite men to look at the fringe (Hebrew: tsitzith) and remember (perform, obey, do, carry out) HIS commandments.

In HIS instructions, OMNIPOTENT GOD also required the children of Israel to "put a cord of blue" in the fringe.  This blue cord entwined in the tsitzith (fringe, tassels, hem) is the heavenly colour to remind them of the power and glory of the great GOD OF ISRAEL.

Paul was a tent maker working the same trade as Aquila and his wife Priscilla. [Acts 18. 2 - 3]  The occupation of a "tent maker" is that of making of the "Tallith" or "prayer shawls." In Paul's time, people lived in houses, not tents.  The Bedouins, however, did live in tents, but they made their own from the animals hides of their own flocks.  "Simon the Tanner, whose house was by the sea" was a familiar individual, and he did work with hides, leather and furs. [Acts 10. 6]

Paul tells of his credentials:  "Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews" [Philippians 3. 4]; and was schooled concerning the Law, "at the feet of Gamaliel taught according to the strictness of our fathers' Law, and was zealous toward GOD." [Acts 22. 3]   Paul added that he spent his youth in Jerusalem, where he lived, "according to the strictest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee." [Acts 26. 4 - 5]   Thus, Paul had fully absorbed all knowledge of the Law, the customs and manners of the Jewish people thus, he would have legitimate expertise and knowledge for the making of this very special item.  The makings of the "tallith" was a specifically gifted talent or craft, as Jewish men were required to wear this particular garment by the ALMIGHTY ONE HIMSELF.

Regarding the Tallith — MESSIAH Y’SHUA rebuked the religious leaders for "enlarging the borders of their prayer garments (Tallith/Prayer Shawl) to be seen of men." [Matthew 23. 5]   "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness." [Matthew 23. 27 - 28]

In fact, CHRISTians today even have reminders to look at and remember GOD'S commandments (plaques, jewelry of crosses, paintings, etc.).  Man looks on the outward appearance and judges, but that is not where true righteousness is found.  The HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, on the other hand, sees the attitude of the heart and that is what determines the approval or disapproval of the LORD and the individual's final reward!   For the KING OF GLORY is our RIGHTEOUSNESS.   Therefore, guard your heart and glorify CREATOR GOD by living a life as one who overcomes by the "blood of the LAMB" and by the "word of your testimony." [Revelation 12. 11]  May the WORD OF GOD be bound in your hearts and the CONTROLLER of your lives!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
The LORD'S  promise to Zion — "As you behold, you will glow; your heart will throb and thrill — for the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you and the riches of nations shall flow to you. Whereas you have been forsaken, rejected and hated, with none passing through, I will make you a pride everlasting, a joy for age after age." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 60. 5, 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If we were to treat every person we met as if they were the MESSIAH, then it wouldn't make any difference if they weren't.
REJECTION AT HOME
"But YESHUA said to them — A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives and in his own house." [Mark 6. 4]

JESUS' home town was Nazareth, it was here that HE grew and "increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with GOD and man." [Luke 2. 52] Y’SHUA left Nazareth to be doing what HE had come into the world to do which was established before the world began; calling HIS disciples, teaching the multitudes, healing the sick, raising the dead, and proclaiming the coming Kingdom.

After the early days of MESSIAH'S ministry, when HE returned to Nazareth "as HIS custom was, HE went into the synagogue on Sabbath and stood up to read." [Luke 4. 16] The LORD YESHUA had already been recognized there as being proficient in the SCRIPTURES, as they had heard about HIS miracles; so the invitation to speak was natural. However, there were certain mumblings, "Is this not the carpenter's son?" — "Is not HIS Mother called Miryam (Mary) and HIS brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And HIS sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this MAN get all these things?" [Matthew 13. 55 - 56]

At first, "all bore witness to HIM and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of HIS mouth." [Luke 4. 22] But as JESUS, the BREAD OF LIFE, applied a key prophecy from the Book of Isaiah to HIMSELF (Isaiah/Yeshayah 61. 1-2) and rebuked the crowd for their unbelief: "all those in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath and rose up and thrust HIM out of the city; and they led HIM to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw HIM down over the cliff." [Luke 4. 28 - 29]

"Even HIS brothers did not believe in HIM" [John 7. 5], and only JESUS' Mother was with HIM when HE was crucified. [John 19. 25] As David had written prophetically — "I am a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my kin. MY zeal for YOUR House has been my undoing." [Psalms (Tehillym) 69. 8 - 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Therefore, if you have been rejected by your family and former friends, you can identify more fully with the LORD, "For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that HE is able to keep what I have committed to HIM until that Day." [2 Timothy 1. 12]

The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH said — "Whoever does the will of GOD is MY brother, and MY sister and mother." [Mark 3. 35] Those of us who have been or are rejected can rejoice greatly. . . knowing we're in good company!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Despair happens when one’s faith is put in an unworthy object. Confidence is found in GOD’S mercy — Y’SHUA’S death, HIS precious blood applied to our life, HIS promise to riches more precious then gold, the changing work of the HOLY SPIRIT, and your faith growing and proved.

WITNESSES REQUIRED
"A single witness may not rise against a man concerning any guilt or blame for any offense that may be committed; a case can be valid only on the testimony of two witnesses or more for a matter shall be established." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 19. 15 Tanakh, Torah]

At least two reliable witnesses were required to convict a man of a crime in the Mosaic Law. MESSIAH Y’SHUA, however, was charged with blasphemy, for claiming to be the unique SON OF THE LIVING GOD — yet the witnesses brought forth could not even agree . "Now the chief priests, the elders, and all the council sought false testimony against JESUS to put HIM to death, but found none. Even though many false witnesses came forward, they found none. But at last two false witnesses came forward and said, "This fellow said, 'I am able to destroy the Temple of GOD and to build it in three days.'" [Matthew 26. 59 - 61]

In contrast, the claims that Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH made were true and verifiable. John the Baptizer, for instance witnessed and proclaimed — "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and HE remained upon HIM. I did not know HIM, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on HIM, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.' And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God." [John 1. 32 - 34] To bear witness was the very purpose for John’s being, for he "was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world." [John 1. 8]

Also a second, and even more effectively persuasive witness "I have a greater witness than John's" — Y’SHUA said, "for the works which the Father has given ME to finish — the very works that I do — bear witness of ME, that the Father has sent ME. And the Father HIMSELF, WHO sent ME, has testified of ME. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom HE sent, HIM you do not believe." [John 5. 36 - 38] The Pharisee named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews and a great teacher, avowed, "Rabbi, we know that YOU are a teacher come from GOD; for no one can do these signs that YOU do unless GOD is with him." [John 3. 2]

Three different times from Heaven, ALMIGHTY GOD HIMSELF unmistakably confirmed, that YESHUA was HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON:
The first time was at MESSIAH’S baptism: "a voice came from heaven, "YOU are MY beloved SON, in whom I am well pleased." [Mark 1. 11]
The second was at the time of Y’SHUA’S transfiguration on the high mountain with Peter, James, & John: "A cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is MY beloved SON. Hear HIM!" [Mark 9. 7; also see 2 Peter 1. 16 - 17]
And the third time was when the LORD JESUS was telling of HIS death on the cross: "Now MY soul is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save ME from this hour.' But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name." Then a voice came from heaven, saying — "I have both glorified it and will glorify it again." Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, "An angel has spoken to HIM." JESUS answered and said, "This voice did not come because of ME, but for your sake." [John 12. 27 – 30]

The most important witness is the WRITTEN WORD OF GOD that is replete in the entire OLD & NEW COVENANTS. "You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of ME." [John 5. 39] "All Scripture is given by inspiration of GOD" [2 Timothy 3. 16], and HE has "exalted Your word, Your name, above all.." [Psalms (Tehillym) 138. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Indeed, the HOLY SCRIPTURES are our WRITTEN WITNESSES that continue to proclaim the LORD JESUS and in HIM alone there is salvation, hope, joy, peace, and eternal life. Find these treasures for yourself. . . Read and Believe..

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
No physician can heal the wounds inflicted by the tongue, except the GREAT PHYSICIAN.

NEW COVENANT JUDGMENT
"When the LORD JESUS is revealed from heaven with HIS mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know GOD, and on those who do not obey the Gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the LORD and from the glory of HIS power, when HE comes, in that Day, to be glorified in HIS saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed." [2 Thessalonians 1. 7 - 10]

Many critics contend that the OLD COVENANT and NEW COVENANT are inconsistent — the OLD COVENANT being filled with harsh condemnations of human sin and warnings of the coming DIVINE Judgment; the NEW COVENANT emphasizes the Grace and Love of the ALMIGHTY ETERNAL ONE. However, the OLD COVENANT unquestionably contains numerous testimonies of love, mercy and lovingkindness of our MAGNIFICENT CREATOR GOD. "The LORD is merciful, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in mercy and steadfast love." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In the same way, the most striking and fearsome warnings and prophecies of judgment to come are found in the NEW COVENANT. "For the time has come for judgment to begin at the House of GOD; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the GOSPEL OF GOD? Now, if the righteous one is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?" [1 Peter 4. 17 - 18] There will be an eternal separation from the TENDER, LOVING SAVIOR for all who reject HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH and HIS saving grace. The LORD Y’SHUA HIMSELF uttered more warnings of future hell than anyone else recorded in either the OLD or NEW COVENANTS. The RIGHTEOUS JUDGE will say to "those on the left hand — Depart from ME, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels." [Matthew 25. 41] Jude spoke of ungodly men "for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever." [Jude 13]

The beloved disciple, John, wrote more to emphasize the love of ALMIGHTY GOD then any other writer. But, in the Book of Revelation he focuses especially, and in detail, on the coming period of the RIGHTEOUS ONE'S judgment on a rebellious world. "And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before GOD, and Books were opened. And anyone not found written in the BOOK OF LIFE was cast into the Lake of Fire." [Revelation 20. 12 - 15]

The OMNIPOTENT, LOVING, HIGH & EXALTED CREATOR is most gracious and full of mercy, "compassionate longsuffering and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in kindness and faithfulness and truth, extending mercy to the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity, transgression and sin" to all who receive MESSIAH Y’SHUA. But "does not overlook or pardon the guilty." [Exodus (Shemot) 34. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Torah] Unequivocal and inescapable judgment will come to all who refuse the SON OF GOD.

Oy! such weeping and wailing there will be as the lost are told of their fate. Do not let this be your end. The arms of the AMAZING SAVIOR are extended to you even now. . . run to HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Draw me to YOU with the breath of love, swiftly shall I come to stand within YOUR radiance that I may attain the sweetness of all intimacies in YOUR PRESENCE.
My soul aches to receive your love. . . only by the tenderness of YOUR PURE LIGHT, MOST HOLY LORD can I be healed. . . engage my soul in YOUR service that I may taste the ecstasy of YOUR perfect righteousness. "Be'ezrat ha'SHEM (with the help of GOD)" — my soul will be exalted and I greatly rejoice.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"Beware of him who gives advise according to his own interests." [TALMUD, Sanhedrin 76a]

WINEPRESS & JUDGMENT SEAT
"Therefore we make it our aim…to be well pleasing to HIM. For we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of CHRIST, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the LORD, we persuade men; but we are well known to GOD, and I also trust are well known in your consciences." [2 Corinthians 5. 9 - 11]

At the appointed time, the LORD Y’SHUA will be seated on the Throne of HIS Glory, the first order of HIS dominion will be to purge the earth of all that offends GOD fulfilling Malachi: "Then you shall see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between one who served ELOHIYM and one who has not served HIM." [Malachi (Malakhi) 3. 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The SON OF MAN will send out HIS angels, and they will gather out of HIS Kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the Furnace of Fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth." [Matthew 13. 41 - 43]

The difference between the righteous and the wicked is visibly discernable for all is written in the Book of Remembrance. The time of grace is now ended and the time of accountability has come. "When the SON OF MAN comes in HIS glory, and all the holy angels with HIM, then HE will sit on the throne of HIS glory. All the nations (ALL nations, both Jew & Gentile) will be gathered before HIM, and HE will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And HE will set the sheep on HIS right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the KING will say to those on HIS right hand — Come, you blessed of MY FATHER, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world... Then HE will also say to those on the left hand — Depart from ME, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels." [Matthew 25. 31 – 34; and chapters 31 – 46]

At last, all enemies of the MOST HOLY LORD GOD will be under HIS feet, the earth is purged from evil. The Battle of Armageddon was not only to exercise the Wrath of GOD against the armies of the Antichrist and enemies of GOD and holiness, but it includes the defense and rescue of HIS people, Israel, and the City of Jerusalem. "The hand of the LORD shall be known to HIS servants, and HIS righteous anger to HIS enemies. For behold, the LORD is coming with fire — HIS chariots are like a whirlwind — to render HIS anger with fury, HIS rebuke in flaming fire. For with fire and by HIS sword the LORD will judge all flesh; and many shall be the slain of the LORD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 66. 14 - 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The Antichrist, who has taken the kingdom of the whole earth, will meet his doom when he faces the LORD at the Battle of Armageddon, the destruction not by human hands. There will be no power on earth among men that can stand against him, so the world will know the POWER OF GOD. "And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have become completely wicked, a king shall arise, having a fierce appearance, who understands dark sentences (dark sayings — a master of intrigue). His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power." [Revelation 13. 2] "He will be impudent and versed in intrigue and have great strength, but not through his own strength. He will be extraordinarily destructive; and shall prosper and succeed in whatever he does, and destroy the mighty and the holy people. By his cunning, he will use deceit successfully. He will magnify himself in his heart. Speaking peace, he shall destroy many when they feel secure. He shall also rise up against the PRINCE of Princes, but he will be broken but not by [human] hands." [Daniel (Danyel) 8. 23 – 25 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

It is written of Satan, embodied in the Antichrist, "Then the court will be seated and his (Satan) dominion shall be taken away, to be destroyed and abolished forever." [Daniel (Danyel) 7. 26 Tanakh, Kethuvim] This concludes the dominion of the Antichrist, where his kingdom is forever destroyed. There will be no more rebellion until the end when Satan is released the last time to call the last mortals to make a decision for or against the MOST HOLY LORD GOD.

Who can survive "The Day" of the severe purge that takes place at the Judgment Seat of CHRIST? Who will survive The Day of HIS coming? The LORD Y’SHUA is coming for judgment like a refiner's fire and a fuller's soap, HE will be a SWIFT WITNESS against the wicked. "I will come near you for judgment; I will be a RELENTLESS ACCUSER against those who have no fear of ME: Sorcerers, adulterers, liars, those who cheat laborers of their hire, and who subvert [the cause] of widows, orphans, and deprive justice to aliens — says the YEHOWAH TSEBA’AH (LORD OF HOSTS)." [Malachi (Malakhi) 3. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im; see 1-5]

Forgiveness is based on repentance, with the precious blood of the ANOINTED INNOCENT ONE covering the sin of the guilty. This is the theme of HOLY SCRIPTURE from cover to cover. However, when the time comes to purge the earth, the time of repentance is past. It will be too late to avail yourself of the grace and mercy the COMPASSIONATE ONE, blessed be HE, offered through CHRIST JESUS. Consider your eternal destiny and make your decision now to take advantage of GOD'S provision while it is still available. O to be found faithful!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
The LORD bless and keep you throughout the coming days as you faithfully walk with HIM! May the LIVING ETERNAL GOD, blessed be HE, hold you close, may HE hold you ever so close in the palm of HIS mighty hand and watch over you. Walk joyously in the light and warmth of ALMIGHTY GOD'S love. And may the HOLY ONE, the HOPE OF ISRAEL, fill you with peace and happiness. May the GOD OF GRACE perfect, establish and strengthen you is our prayer.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
As long as you can laugh at yourself, you will never cease to be amused.

ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD
"GOD said — Nevertheless, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall name him Isaac, and I will maintain MY covenant with him as an Everlasting Covenant for his offspring to come." [Genesis (Bereshith) 17. 19 Tanakh, Torah]

Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah, his wife, was 90 years old when they had a child whom they named Isaac (Hebrew: yishaq — means laugh). They were past the age for having children; humanly impossibility for them ever becoming parents, but ALMIGHTY GOD performed a miracle in both their bodies to keep HIS promise that they would have a child. Abraham was wise enough to believe GOD'S WORD despite all human reasonings would attempt to claim it to be an utter impossibility according to science!

My dear Jewish people, and all else, are we wiser than Abraham? The SUPREME AWESOME ONE, the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL, called Abraham "the friend of GOD" — are you better than he? Do you attempt to disprove the birth of Isaac from your own intolerant viewpoint?

The HOLY ONE, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob can do anything! Nothing is impossible for HIM! HE promised that the woman's "Seed" would crush the head of the serpent. [Genesis/Bereshith 3. 15] A woman does NOT have seed — only the man has seed! However, a day would come, the CREATOR GOD said, in which a CHILD would be born miraculously of the woman's SEED not the man's seed! This ONE WHO was to be born as a MIRACLE-SIGN to all Israel. "Assuredly, my LORD will give you a sign of HIS OWN accord! Behold, a young virgin (Hebrew: almah — engaged virgin) is with CHILD and about to give birth to a SON. Let her name HIM, IMMANU'EL (Hebrew: with us is GOD)." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 7. 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im] This SON is none other than Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH (JESUS THE CHRIST) for HE, and only HE fulfills all the 300 prophecies of the MESSIAH in the OLD COVENANT (TANAKH) that are found in the Law, the Prophets and the Writings.

May you know and believe the ALMIGHTY CREATOR, as did Abraham which GOD accounted to him for righteousness. [Genesis/Bereshith 15. 6; Romans 4. 3; Galatians 3. 6; James 2. 23] You then will be privileged to receive HOLY GOD'S GREATEST BLESSINGS here and now. . . that of knowing the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA, our WONDERFUL LOVING REDEEMER, personally. Then we are assured of eternal life with HIM in HIS KINGDOM. The LORD JESUS is returning very soon as the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE and HE will rule and reign forevermore as "KING of kings and LORD of lords." Hallelu'YAH!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
As we bid farewell to Shabbas, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE dwells within us, bless you abundantly.
May it be YOUR will O GOD that our homes become a sanctuary worthy of YOUR HOLY PRESENCE wherein YOUR NAME shall be hallowed, that YOU may come and grant YOUR blessings and YOUR DIVINE grace each and every day. We give ourselves over into YOUR keeping, our hearts contrite, and our prayers made with a repentant heart. And, LORD, please make us swifter than eagles and stronger than lions in doing YOUR will; and may our love for YOU be our crown of glory and armor of strength. MOST HOLY ONE, YOU are blessed beyond all hymns, praises and consolations that may be uttered in this world. May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel. Mighty are those who rejoice in YOU, LORD GOD MOST HIGH.
May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be present throughout the week.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
An inventor is a crackpot who becomes a genius when his idea catches on.

REWARDS & BLESSINGS
"Bless the LORD, O my soul and do not forget all HIS bounties." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Indeed, the benefits of the LORD OMNIPOTENT are great and marvelous and it would be an act of ingratitude not to remember and appreciate them:
FORGIVENESS: "HE forgives all your sins." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim] ALMIGHTY GOD forgives all — as we ask when we come to HIM in repentance with a humble and penitent heart! "The blood of JESUS CHRIST, GOD'S SON cleanses us from all sin." [1 John 1. 7]

HEALING: "HE heals all your diseases." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The greatest and ultimate disease is death. But one day, and that very soon, "there will be no more death." [Revelation 21. 4]

REDEMPTION: "HE redeems your life from the Pit." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "You are not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of MESSIAH Y’SHUA, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." [1 Peter 1. 18 - 19]

GLORIFICATION: "HE surrounds you with steadfast love and tender mercy." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; and you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to ME, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to ME. Hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you — The sure mercies of David. Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, a leader and commander for the people. Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you shall run to you, because of the LORD your GOD, and the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL; for HE has glorified you." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 55. 1 - 5] "Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small." [Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 30. 19] "If indeed we suffer with HIM (Y’SHUA), we may also be glorified together...Moreover whom HE predestined, these HE also called; whom HE called, these HE also justified; and whom HE justified, these HE also glorified." [Romans 8. 17, 30]

PROVISION: "HE satisfies you with good things in the prime of life." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the FATHER of lights, with WHOM there is no variation or shadow of turning." [James 1. 17]

STRENGTH: "Your youth is renewed like the eagle's." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] In your youth, "be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith and in purity." [1 Timothy 4. 12]

HONOR: "Assuredly — declares the LORD, the GOD OF ISRAEL — I will honor those who honor ME, but those who spurn ME shall be dishonored." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 2. 30 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Those who love ME I love, and those who seek ME diligently will find ME. Riches and honor are with ME, enduring riches and righteousness." [Proverbs (Mishle) 8. 17 – 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The LORD Y’SHUA declared, "If anyone serves ME, let him follow ME; and where I am, there MY servant will be also. If anyone serves ME, him MY FATHER will honor." [John 12. 26]

PROTECTION: "The LORD executes righteous acts and judgments for all who are wronged." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." [John 7. 24] "Because he is devoted to ME I will deliver him; I will keep him safe and set him on high for he knows MY NAME. When he calls on ME, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and make him honored; I will let him live to a ripe old age, and show him MY SALVATION." [Psalms/Tehillym 91. 14 - 16]

SALVATION: IS THE GREATEST GIFT, by the mercy and tremendously great love of ALMIGHTY GOD. "The LORD is compassionate, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is HIS steadfast love and mercy toward those who fear HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "But the LORD'S steadfast love and mercy is for all eternity toward those who fear HIM, and HIS beneficence is for the children's children of those who KEEP (perform, harmonize) HIS Covenant and REMEMBER (treasure, learn) to OBSERVE (discern, follow, obey, pursue) HIS precepts." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Infinite as the universe, enduring as eternity, these are the dimensions of the MOST HIGH GOD'S mercy "as east is far from west, so far has HE removed our sins and transgressions from us." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim] No wonder this great Psalm begins and ends with the magnificent inspiring exhortation: "Bless the LORD, O my soul!" Bless the LORD, all HIS works, throughout HIS Kingdom; bless the LORD, HE is such a TREASURE worthy to be praised!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Blessed, praised and glorified, exalted, extolled and honored, magnified and lauded be the NAME of the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE; though HE be high above all the blessings and hymns, praises and consolations, which are uttered in the world. For YOUR sake, we are killed all day long, yet in YOU, O GOD, we boast all day long and praise YOUR NAME forever. Selah

FORGIVENESS: "HE forgives all your sins." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103..

But one day, and that very soon, "there will be no more death." [Revelation 21. 4]

REDEMPTION: "HE redeems your life from the Pit." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "You are not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of MESSIAH Y’SHUA, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." [1 Peter 1. 18 - 19]

GLORIFICATION: "HE surrounds you with steadfast love and tender mercy.." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Ho!

Selah

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
I would rather be an optimist and be duped (tricked, fooled, deceived, hoodwinked) than be a pessimist and be right.

SOLDIERS & TEACHERS
"That they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will." [2 Timothy 2. 26]

Today, as never before, we are in a great battle for the minds of young people. The battlefield is the world all around us, in the home as well as church, television, computers, or wherever teaching — good or bad — takes place.

It is greatly significant that one of the most significant verses on teaching and soldiering occur together — "My son, be strong in the grace that is in MESSIAH Y’SHUA. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH." [2 Timothy 2. 1 - 3] Clearly a faithful teacher is a skilled soldier in the battle of the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA against the devil for the minds of those we are trying to teach and "wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience." [1 Timothy 2. 18 - 19]

The battle can only be fought with "the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the WORD OF GOD." [Ephesians 6. 17] Therefore, "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." [Colossians 4. 6] Unquestionably, "The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious...the mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life." [Ecclesiastes/Kohelet 10. 12; Proverbs/Mishle 10. 11]

Those whose minds have been ensnared by the devil may yet be recovered. So the wise teachers tactic is simply — "A servant of the LORD must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if GOD perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth." [2 Timothy 2. 24 - 25] "Therefore take up the whole armor of GOD, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." [Ephesians 6. 13] It is vitally important that one be well equipped and ready to stand firm in the wisdom and knowledge of the ETERNAL ONE for not even Satan can stand before the MIGHTY SWORD OF THE SPIRIT wielded by a suitable, well fitted soldier-teacher.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
As we thank and celebrate our veterans by remembering their great sacrifices so we can be free, we must also contemplate what the future holds. There is no doubt, America is throwing away all honor and dignity of the righteous people by making totally perverse laws. The new morality has permeated (flooded, inundated) this country and the world from within as the enemy is in the camp…from the White House down to local government officials, even corrupting children in the schools. They have attacked that very freedom and liberty that the brave were once deployed for and fought to preserve. Wake up and consider your latter end! The nation that forgets the GREAT GOD OF CREATION has sealed its own fate.
HEAVENLY FATHER, YOU alone are our HOPE. Thru YOUR lovingkindness, teach us to emulate YOUR OWN grace and mercy. Cause YOUR TRUTH to fall upon our hearts like seed upon fertile ground. And, may we learn to love YOUR Law ever more deeply and to find in it the beauty of holiness. Remind us that YOU are the CENTER of our joy; thank YOU again for YOUR great love and kindness to us. Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A person does not fall because he is weak, but because he thinks he is strong.

STAY & STAFF
"For lo! The SOVEREIGN LORD OF HOSTS will remove from Jerusalem and from Judah STAFF and STAY the whole supply of food, the whole supply of water, and the whole supply of clothing." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 3. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

In this verse in Isaiah, two forms are used for the same word staff or support. The first use in the verse is the absolute form, meaning the word is standing alone. The second use is the construct form in which the type of staff is described (in this case "staff of bread" and "supply of water"). The absolute form is pronounced "mashen" for the masculine and "mashena" for the feminine. So in this verse, the English says...The LORD OF HOSTS will remove from Jerusalem and from Judah Staff — "mashen" and Stay — "mashena".

At the time of this writing by the Prophet Isaiah, there was severe spiritual poverty, not only in Jerusalem, but throughout all Judah and Israel. The first chapters of Isaiah pens a strong denunciation of the people's depravity due to uncontrolled sin; and tells of the coming national and ultimate judgments due to arrogance, pride and confidence in themselves rather then trusting on the LORD GOD OF ISRAEL. "Then man's haughtiness shall be bowed down and humbled, and the pride of men brought low. None but the LORD shall be exalted in that day." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 2. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

In phrasing the message in such a manner, Isaiah is trying to teach or warn the sinful people that ALMIGHTY GOD would remove all forms of support in order to humble them. "Soldier and warrior, magistrate and prophet, diviner and elder; captain of fifty, judges and counselor, skilled artisan and expert craftsman; I will make boys their rulers and babes shall govern them." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 3. 2 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im] This judgment would also prove to them that the LORD GOD ETERNAL is the only real STAY and STAFF: "In that day, radiance from the BRANCH OF THE LORD will be beautiful and glorious." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 4. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] And, "The LORD OF HOSTS is exalted by judgment, the LORD ALMIGHTY proved holy in righteousness. Then lambs shall graze in their meadows, and in the waste places of the rich oppressors, the kids shall feed." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 5. 16 - 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There is another Hebrew word, sha'an which means "to lean on, to trust in, to support, to rely, rest, stay." The ALL-WISE LORD GOD wants to teach us HIS WAYS, HIS LAWS, and HIS WORD. Those who are willing and obedient are then admonished to "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE will guide (as a SHEPHERD) your path. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil." [Proverbs (Mishle) 3. 5 - 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Oh, how sweet to trust in Y’SHUA and lean on HIS unfailing arm.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Welcoming & Celebrating Shabbat! Sabbath of Bo — “Come” [Reading: Exodus 10:1-13:16; Jeremiah 46:31-28; John 19:31-37]
Of old YOU did rest on the seventh day; YOU therefore blessed the Sabbath. For every work of YOUR hand praises YOU; YOUR redeemed bless you at all times. Blessed be the LORD, the MAKER, the LIVING GOD and EVERLASTING KING — for from old you have given YOUR servants the abundance of YOUR mercies and YOUR loving kindnesses. YOU, my PRECIOUS REDEEMER, are above all gods, executing great judgment. YOU are KING over all the earth, YOU are ONE LORD, and YOUR NAME is ECHAD (ONE).
Though I cannot trace HIS footprints, yet HIS PRESENCES lingers. Hush my soul, be patient, for someday soon you will see HIM, you will meet HIM face-to-face. And in Heaven's Garden, I will walk with the LORD my GOD always. What a glorious day that will be!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
“The merits of the believer, even if he reaches the utmost degree in improving his soul in devotion to GOD, and even if he would approach the level of an angel in good character...would still not compare to the merits of the one who teaches people the good path [of TORAH] and brings them to the service of GOD.” [Rabbeinu Bachya, Duties of the Heart (11th century)]

SHINING FACES
"So Moses came down from Mount Sinai. And as Moses came down from the mountain bearing the two tablets of the Testimony, Moses was not aware that the skin of his face was radiant, since he had spoken with HIM (ELOHEY)." [Exodus (Shemot) 34. 29 Tanakh, Torah]

For forty days and nights, Moses had been alone with CREATOR GOD in simple communion and getting the tablets with the Ten Commandments. When he descended from Mount Sinai, the glory of GOD was so radiant from his countenance, that people could not bear to look at Moses face, so he covered his face with a veil so he could speak with the Israelite people.

A similar experience occurred at the official tribunal of Stephen when the council of Jewish leaders questioned him in regards to his CHRISTian testimony, "And all who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at him, saw his face as the face of an angel." [Acts 6. 15]

As we spend time with our wonderful LOVING GOD, we too should obtain a different expression and sweet aromas should bear witness that we have been with the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA. This is one of HIS promises, that when we spend time in GOD'S WORD which is alive with the LIGHT OF HIS GLORY.. "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the LORD, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the SPIRIT OF THE LORD." [2 Corinthians 3. 18]

The GRACIOUS REDEEMER will "cause HIS face to shine upon us." HE will "be merciful and gracious to us; and bless us by showing us favor" [Psalms/Tehillym 67. 1] by enabling us to "become blameless and harmless, children of GOD without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the WORD OF LIFE." [Philippians 2. 15 - 16]

As you continue in the LIFE-GIVING WORD, the LORD will "make HIS face shine upon you, and deal kindly and graciously with you." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 6. 25 Tanakh, Torah] HE is most precious and all-together lovely. . . such a WONDERFUL SAVIOR, REDEEMER, LORD & KING!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Praised is YOUR HOLY NAME, O LORD GOD. YOU have made YOUR eternal law our portion, and gave us a goodly heritage. YOU appointed us to proclaim YOUR truth to the nations and to win them for YOUR Law of Righteousness. Sanctify us for the service to which YOU called us, O HEAVENLY FATHER, that YOUR NAME may be hallowed through us in all the world. Gather all YOUR children around YOUR banner of truth that YOUR praise may resound from one end of the earth to the other, and that the entire human family may be blessed with truth and peace! Joyfully do we lift up our voices in thanks and praise to YOUR WONDERFUL NAME.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 15 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Even in excess, there should be moderation.

MESSIAH'S SPECIAL PEOPLE
"Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them — You are not MY people — there it shall be said to them — You are sons of the LIVING GOD." [Hosea (Hoshea) 1. 10; 2. 23 w/Romans 9. 19 - 26]

Contrary to the thinking of some, CHRISTianity is not a Gentile religion but is completely Jewish!  CHRISTianity is the fulfillment of the Jewish faith found in the OLD COVENANT!  Jews today who believe in the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA have not left the faith of their forefathers but rather have rediscovered it.  The verses in Hosea meant that the HOLY ONE would cut the people off officially as a people, and during that time HE would refuse to be their GOD. [v. 9]   Regardless of being cut off, they would eventually multiply, be great, and again be called the children of GOD. [v. 10]

Compare this with the NEW COVENANT promise where Peter is writing to both Jewish and Gentile believers in the LORD JESUS, "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, HIS OWN special people, that you may proclaim the praises of HIM WHO called you out of darkness into HIS marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of GOD, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." [1 Peter 2. 9 - 10]  This is the same declaration YEHOWAH promised to Israel in the OLD COVENANT — "Now then, if you will obey ME faithfully, and keep MY Covenant, you shall be MY treasured possession among all the peoples. Indeed, all the earth is MINE, but you shall be to ME a kingdom of priests and a holy nation." [Exodus (Shemot) 19. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Torah]

The covenant stands and has been extended to the Gentiles who believe in MESSIAH.  Jews who believe in MESSIAH Y’SHUA have not deserted their nation but weep with their MESSIAH over the continued sorrow of their beloved people who reject the PROMISED ONE OF GOD.  Jewish believers today are NEW COVENANT MESSIANIC believers who see and follow the faith of ancient Israel as fulfilled in the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

The TORAH agrees fully with the Commandments of Y’SHUA, the problem is in the man-made rules and regulations (Judaism) that go beyond the moral law of the TORAH.  Judaism is so wrapped up in the letter of the Law, they missed the heart of the Law as GOD intended in it.  GOD'S desire for HIS people has never changed, HIS plan has always extended to include Gentiles who believe.

The CHRISTian Church, as recorded in the NEW COVENANT, was composed exclusively of Jewish believers in Y’SHUA until about twelve years after HIS ascension into heaven!  CHRISTianity,  pure CHRISTianity, was not rejected by our Jewish forefathers, but was accepted by them.  They were the first to preach the GOOD NEWS, the GOSPEL OF Y’SHUA their MESSIAH, and defended it with their lives.  The GOSPEL happened to be Jewish all the way through!  In the early CHRISTian church of the NEW COVENANT, the rare thing was to find a Gentile believer among them!

Neither is the Church today a continuation of Judaism.  ALMIGHTY GOD declared that the COVENANT OF MOUNT SINAI (MOSAIC LAW) was broken by Israel. [Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 31. 31 - 34]  Through MESSIAH Y’SHUA, GOD provided a NEW COVENANT for Jews and Gentiles.  This COVENANT does not mean "Jewish" nor does it destroy the OLD COVENANT, it confirms and fulfills it. [Matthew 5. 17; Romans 3. 31; 8. 4]  Judaism does not mean "Jewish" nor does it make anyone Jewish who practices its beliefs, holidays, and ceremonies.  True, the religion of national, unconverted Israel today is Judaism, but it is not the pure faith of their ancestors as we find recorded in the HEBREW SCRIPTURES!

The Church began in the OLD COVENANT days and was composed of Jews who believed in the coming MESSIAH.  The Hebrew word by which the church was called is kahila or edah meaning a religious assembly or congregation.

It is sad to realize that many of my Jewish people do not know the difference between a Gentile and a CHRISTian.  They feel they are one and the same.  It has been thought that all who are not Jewish are Gentiles and that all Gentiles are CHRISTians.  {That is what this writer was taught.}  Nothing could be further from the truth!  The WORD OF GOD describes a CHRISTian as one who has come out of GOD-lessness into the faith of the JEWISH MESSIAH & REDEEMER.  There are many Gentiles who do not believe in the LORD Y’SHUA and follow HIM, even as there are many Jews who do not accept HIM.  Not all those who call themselves CHRISTians are really CHRIST-like-ones, true followers of CHRIST JESUS, just as not all who are Jewish are followers of Judaism.  A true CHRISTian is, first of all, a believer in IMMANU’EL, THE ANOINTED ONE.  That follower will have a spirit of love and of compassion for all men, Jew or Gentile, that they may be freed from the bondage of sin.  A true CHRISTian is one who prays for both Jews and Gentiles to receive the LORD JESUS into their hearts so that they may have peace with GOD ETERNAL.

Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH did not come to bring a new religion, but to fulfill the HEBREW SCRIPTURES.  The NEW COVENANT is not a NEW BOOK, but is the continuation and completion of the OLD.  What is hidden in the FIRST TESTAMENT is revealed in the NEW.  When a Jewish person accepts Y’SHUA as their MESSIAH & SAVIOR, he becomes a true Jew!  He has accepted what belongs to him by GOD'S COVENANT with his fathers.  The Church of the NEW COVENANT (which developed out of the Church of the FIRST TESTAMENT) was composed of Jewish believers.  According to a record in history, there were 25,000 Jews who recognized and accepted Y’SHUA as their MESSIAH soon after Shavuoth (Pentecost) 2,000 years ago.  Y’SHUA, WHO was a Jew according to GOD'S promises concerning MESSIAH'S genealogy, does not expect any Jew to change the fact that he is Jewish, but wants every Jew to come into living touch with GOD, to love GOD with all his heart, soul, and mind.

Jewish believers in the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH know and love the SCRIPTURES of the FIRST COVENANT more than ever they did before.  They know the meaning of the holidays and customs of their forefathers.  They have been brought to a greater sympathy and understanding and also a greater love for Israel.  They now have a deep impression on their hearts (put there by the MASTER DESIGNER HIMSELF) to pray for their own Jewish people everywhere that they see the LIGHT and come into the NEW COVENANT with HIM. They do not deny their heritage, but realize more than ever that they are the natural descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob — not only Jewish by descent — but true Jews inwardly, sons of GOD'S PROMISE, for they have come into HIS NEW COVENANT; they believe on JESUS as their LORD, MESSIAH, ROCK OF SALVATION, and their SOON-COMING KING.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, our prayer is the LIVING FOUNTAIN refresh and sustain each of you, our cherished friends.  May the LIGHT of the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE, fill your up-coming week with a yearning desire to submit to HIS inscrutable will and give you strength for your daily tasks.  May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be a part of each day as you share the knowledge of wisdom of the LOVING MASTER with others.
Tov Shavua — have a good week!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
In the beginning, GOD wished to render justice; but when HE observed that the world could not rest on justice, HE rendered mercy. [TALMUD, Rosh ha'Shanah 17]

GOSPEL PREACHED TO THE WORLD
"He who endures to the end shall be saved. And the GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." [Matthew 24. 12 - 14]

The MOST HIGH GOD OF HEAVEN is faithful in all things. "There is no other god besides ME, a JUST GOD and a SAVIOR; no god exists besides ME. Turn to ME, and be saved, all ends of the earth! For I am GOD, and there is none else." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 45. 21 – 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The SOVEREIGN ETERNAL ONE desires that none be lost, and all come to the knowledge of the truth in saving faith. [1 Timothy 2. 4] "So HE became their SAVIOR. In all their troubles HE was afflicted, HIS OWN PRESENCE delivered them; in HIS love and in HIS pity HE redeemed them; and HE bore them and carried them all the days of old." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 63. 8 – 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The STONE that the builders rejected has become the CHIEF CORNERSTONE. This was the LORD'S doing; it is marvelous in our sight." [Psalms (Tehillym) 118. 22 - 23 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Men were given the privilege of sharing the WONDROUS LIFE-GIVING MESSAGE that whoever believed would be saved. This GOOD NEWS had gone out from Judea, Samaria, then into the uttermost parts of the world, and continues today. The HOLY LORD has always had devoted followers with hearts willing to complete the great commission, which still says — "Go into all the world and preach the GOSPEL to every creature!" [Mark 16. 15]

The prophets, apostles, disciples, missionaries and modern-day world evangelists thought the WORD had been spread completely by their teaching on radio, internet and television. However, the ALMIGHTY let it be known that it still is not complete. As you read the book of Revelation, you find that GOD HIMSELF will be the ONE to assure the task is complete, for HE shows the way it will be accomplished HIS perfect and complete way.

Two Witnesses: The FAITHFUL & TRUE, the AUTHOR & FINISHER of our faith affirms — "And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two lamp-stands standing before the GOD of the earth." [Revelation 11. 3 - 4] When they finish their testimony, the beast from the bottomless pit will make war on them and kill them, but after three days, the BREATH OF LIFE from GOD will enter them and they will ascend into heaven in a cloud. [Revelation 11. 7 - 14]

144,000 Jewish Witnesses: The SAVIOR OF OLD has 144,000 un-defiled, virgin Jewish men "who follow the LAMB wherever HE goes. These were redeemed by MESSIAH from among men being first-fruits to GOD and to the LAMB. And in their mouth was found no guile, for they are without fault before the Throne of GOD." [Revelation 14. 4 – 5; 7. 1 - 8]

Remnant of the Woman's Seed: Again in Revelation we see that those who are left behind, will overcome Satan, the Accuser, by "the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony for they did not love their lives to the death." [Revelation 12. 11]

Three Angels' Announcement: "Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the EVERLASTING GOSPEL to preach to those who dwell on the earth — to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people — saying with a loud voice — Fear GOD and give glory to HIM, for the hour of HIS judgment has come; and worship HIM WHO made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water." [Revelation 14. 6 - 7]
"And another angel followed, saying — Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication."
"Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice — If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of GOD, which is poured out full strength into the cup of HIS indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the LAMB." [Revelation 14. 8 - 10]

May each of us be found faithful doing our HEAVENLY FATHER'S business when HE comes — for the crowns we will win, is the souls of men: "Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the LORD, beloved." [Philippians 4. 1] "For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our LORD JESUS CHRIST at HIS coming? For you are our glory and joy." [1 Thessalonians 2. 19 - 20]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We gratefully acknowledge, O LORD our GOD, that YOU are our CREATOR and PRESERVER, the ROCK of our life and the SHIELD of our help. We give YOU thanks for our lives which are in YOUR mighty hand, for our souls which are ever in YOUR keeping, for YOUR wondrous providence and for YOUR continuous goodness, which YOU lovingly provide for us day by day. Truly, YOUR mercies never fail and YOUR loving-kindness never ceases. Therefore we put our full trust and confidence in YOU alone. O LORD, may we die the death of the righteous and our end be like theirs. Suffer us not to pass away in our sins, O RIGHTEOUS JUDGE of life and death. Teach us to number our days, that we might get a heart of wisdom. Grant to all, small and great, young and old, strength and understanding, that we may not delay to remove from our midst all that is displeasing in YOUR sight, and thus become reconciled to YOU. Keep us ever grateful and grant us YOUR perfect rest; for being so good and for YOUR tender mercies for this and so much more, we thank YOU. Amen

Post  Admin Fri 12 Jan 2018, 9:39 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The biggest tragedy in life is to be oblivious (unaware, unmindful, insensible) as to how much GOD loves you.

SEARCHING FOR GOD
"Seek first the KINGDOM OF GOD and HIS righteousness." [Matthew 6. 33]

Riches, power, health, adventure, fame, peace, conquests, or even an escape are some of the things people are searching for these days. When or if they are found, these things still never satisfy, things never will! To our shame, it is only a few CHRIST-like-ones who realize that permanent fulfillment or redirection of such desires can be found only in the LORD GOD OF HEAVEN. . . the ONE WHO created them and designed them to function in a particular, satisfying way.

While it is true, prudently speaking, that "there is none who understands, there is none who seeks after GOD" [Romans 3. 11] for there is no salvation outside of the encouraging incentive of the HOLY SPIRIT OF GRACE. Everyone is commanded to seek the TRUE GOD, however, and HE never asked us to do the impossible.

As encouragement, the ALMIGHTY ONE tells us — "If you search for the LORD your GOD, you will find HIM, if only you seek HIM with all your heart and soul." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 4. 29 Tanakh, Torah] "If you seek HIM, HE will find you, but if you forsake HIM, HE will abandon you forever." [1 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 28. 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "One thing I ask of the LORD, only that do I seek, to live in the House of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD, and frequently inquire in HIS Temple." [Psalms (Tehillym) 27. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "ELOHIYM, YOU are my GOD; I search for YOU, my soul thirsts for YOU, my body yearns for YOU." [Psalms (Tehillym) 63. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The wisdom of the ALMIGHTY ONE says — "Those who love ME, I love; and those who seek ME will find ME." [Proverbs (Tehillym) 8. 17 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "You will search for ME and find ME, if only you seek ME wholeheartedly (sincerely, genuinely, honestly)." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 29. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Finding the SOVEREIGN ONE'S perfect will should be our priority and the longing desire of our life. Then, we will be completely fulfilled as we search for the attributes, characteristics and nature of our OMNIPOTENT CREATOR and make HIS way, ours. The LORD JESUS promises that we will find HIM, if we truly seek HIM. The most PRECIOUS TREASURE in this life is found when we find our WONDERFUL MASTER, Y’SHUA, the LIVING HOPE. . . then HE gives us so much more.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
How remarkable, it is the redeemed souls the LORD uses to build the Church, not stones like the Temple was constructed of...fadeless, endless, indescribable glory — a consummation of all GOD’S wondrous work — TEMPLES OF THE LIVING GOD. HEAVENLY FATHER, guide us into a finer way of living; may YOUR mercy lead us to express joy, YOUR strength to be more determined to do YOUR will, YOUR grace to be kind, tender and affectionate one to another, and YOUR perseverance to believe. May we encourage one another all the more, as you see the day of MESSIAH'S return drawing near. Grace be with you all. Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you do not have peace with regards to a particular something in your life, GOD is not behind it.
ONE BODY IN MESSIAH
"For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is MESSIAH Y’SHUA. For by one SPIRIT we were all baptized into one body — whether Jew or Gentile, whether slaves or free — and have all been made to drink into one SPIRIT." [1 Corinthians 12. 12 - 13]

"For you are all sons of GOD through FAITH in Y’SHUA. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in MESSIAH Y’SHUA." [Galatians 3. 26, 28]

The statement "there is neither Jew nor Greek...neither male nor female...all are one in JESUS" relates back to Faith and indicates that all races, classes, and both sexes are equal in rights and privileges relative to gospel benefits, that ALMIGHTY HEAVENLY FATHER does not recognize one above the other — all are one body in Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH.

However, this same verse does tell that within the body of MESSIAH there is both Jew and Gentile, master and slave, male and female. One does not change his ancestry, descent, position in life, or sex by receiving the MESSIAH into their heart. Nothing can divest a Jew of his physical identity.

One who is not Jewish who has accepted the LORD JESUS, remains a Gentile but is now a believer. A Jew, accepting the LORD Y’SHUA, remains a Jew but is now a believer. Both Jew and Gentile keep their earthly distinctions even as bond and free, male and female keep theirs. Their unity is in the SPIRIT — they are one in MESSIAH the KING by Faith.

"For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the SPIRIT, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from GOD." [Romans 2. 28 - 29]

This passage is found in a Jewish Context in the book of Romans. Paul was not speaking to the Gentiles here but to Jews who were trusting in the fact that they were Jews, "Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the Law, and make your boast in GOD." [Romans 2. 17] Here, Paul is describing the True Jew who is one not only outwardly, but inwardly. Paul does not boast in his religion or the fact he is a Jew — there is no pride of race or grace in MESSIAH Y’SHUA — but he counts all that as loss and his trust now is in the LORD JESUS as we find in the words of Paul again:
"For we are the circumcision, who worship GOD in the spirit, rejoice in CHRIST JESUS, and HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN THE FLESH, though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so." Then Paul explains what it is about the "flesh" in which he could trust: "Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the Law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the Law, blameless."
Now Paul is counting as unnecessary and vain all those things of the flesh in which he could have trusted: "But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for CHRIST. Yet indeed I also count ALL THINGS LOSS for the excellence of the knowledge of CHRIST JESUS my LORD, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and COUNT THEM AS RUBBISH, that I may gain CHRIST and be found in HIM, NOT HAVING MY OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, WHICH IS FROM THE LAW, but that which is through FAITH IN CHRIST, the righteousness which is from GOD by FAITH." [Philippians 3. 3 - 9] Thus, our spiritual duties must be our own hearts actions, not boasting in our human bloodline, but in the BELOVED MESSIAH alone.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel, Amen Watch and pray, the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA is coming soon to set up HIS Kingdom. The descendants of HIS servants shall inherit it, and those who love HIS NAME shall dwell in it. The LORD will be a SHELTER for HIS people, and the STRENGTH of the children of Israel, and they shall all know HIM.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Your spiritual duties must be your own hearts actions.

OUR HELPER, OUR TEACHER
"The HELPER, the HOLY SPIRIT, WHOM the FATHER will send in MY NAME, HE will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." [John 14. 26]

The INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT is the best TEACHER, HE is our own special, personal MASTER-INSTRUCTOR, MASTER-COUNSELOR. "The natural man does not receive the things of the SPIRIT OF GOD, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." [1 Corinthians 2. 14] Therefore, we are to study to show our selves approved so the GUIDING COMFORTER can call to our remembrance ALMIGHTY GOD'S TRUTH, that you do what is written.

We who have been called and chosen by GOD, know that it is essential and required both to DO HIS will and KNOW HIM. As we read and meditate on the WRITTEN WORD OF GOD, the HOLY SPIRIT brings understanding to our mind. Then moment-by-moment brings awareness as HE remains at our side guiding our daily lives as we allow HIM to lead us.

"The HOLY SPIRIT also witnesses to us; for after HE had said before, this is The Covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD — I will put MY Laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them." [Hebrews 10. 15 - 16] But, we must study to show ourselves approved, "Be diligent to present yourself approved to GOD, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD OF TRUTH." [2 Timothy 2. 15]

"The ANOINTING (HOLY SPIRIT) which you have received from HIM abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same ANOINTING (THE COMFORTER) teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in HIM." [1 John 2. 27] Through HIS blessed HOLY SPIRIT, GOD THE DESIGNER, reveals HIMSELF — "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the SPIRIT WHO is from GOD, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by GOD. These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the HOLY SPIRIT teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual." [1 Corinthians 2. 12 - 13]

"But as it is written — Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for those who love HIM. But GOD has revealed them to us through HIS SPIRIT. For the SPIRIT searches all things, yes, the deep things of GOD. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of GOD except the SPIRIT OF GOD." [1 Corinthians 2. 9 - 11]

"Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of GOD! How unsearchable are HIS judgments and HIS ways past finding out!" [Romans 11. 33] As we truly seek HIM, HE delights in showing HIMSELF to us. And, there is such sweet, rich joy in knowing and serving the LORD GOD, CREATOR & KING!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We praise YOU, MOST HOLY GOD and ask that YOUR SWEET SPIRIT be manifest to us in all YOUR works, so that reverence for YOU may fill the hearts of YOUR creatures. May all the children of men bow before YOU in humility and unite to do YOUR will with one heart, that all may acknowledge that YOURS alone is the power, dominion and majesty; and that YOUR NAME is exalted above all.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Believing is a fine thing, but placing those beliefs into implementation is a test of strength.

BLESSED IS HE
"May he who enters be blessed in the NAME OF THE LORD! We bless you from the HOUSE OF THE LORD." [Psalms (Tehillym) 118. 26 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This is the pinnacle of the great Messianic Psalm. It was fulfilled when Y’SHUA THE REDEEMER rode into Jerusalem on a little donkey just a few days before HE died bearing the sins of the world, fulfilling the prophecy of Zechariah, "Rejoice greatly Fair Zion! Shout! Raise a shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Lo, your KING is coming to you. HE is victorious and just, triumphant and having salvation, yet humble, riding on an ass, on a donkey foaled by a she-ass." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 9. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

As Y’SHUA rode into Jerusalem, multitudes of people "took branches of palm trees and went out to meet HIM, and cried out — HOSANNA! Blessed is HE WHO comes in the NAME OF THE LORD — the KING OF ISRAEL!" [John 12. 13]

Now, like then, most people doubt and reject the LORD JESUS all together, crying out for HIM to be put to death. Although HE knew this is what would happen, HE had already foretold it's happening — "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! See! your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see ME until the time comes when you say — Blessed is HE WHO comes in the NAME OF THE LORD (baruch haba b’SHEM ADONAI)!" [Luke 13. 34 - 35]

The principle applies to us individually, although it was especially meant for the nation as a whole. When anyone hears the call of the LORD Y’SHUA, if he welcomes the GLORIOUS ONE, the RIGHTEOUS MESSIAH will, without doubt, come into his heart, "whom having not seen you love, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith — the salvation of your souls." [1 Peter 1. 8 - 9] And with faithful and sincere thanks we bless HIM WHO came that we might live.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give HIM no rest till HE establishes and till HE makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 62:6-7]

For all things, O GOD our KING, we bless and exalt YOU for ever and ever. YOU are the ROCK of our lives, the SHIELD of our salvation through every generation. YOU, LORD GOD are good, YOUR mercies fail not and YOUR loving kindnesses never cease. We give YOU thanks and glory and praise for this is befitting, Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The MASTER counsels us to be careful to observe all that HE has taught you in HIS HOLY WORD. Obeying HIS commands in wisdom and understanding so others will see you as a people of the HOLY ONE who fear HIM and faithfully walk in HIS footsteps.

OUR CALLING
"I, therefore, the prisoner of the LORD, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called." [Ephesians 4. 1]

As followers of MESSIAH Y’SHUA, we are called "out of darkness into HIS marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of GOD, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." [1 Peter 2. 9 - 10] Our passion (our holy calling/position in salvation) is identified as "the heavenly calling" [Hebrews 3. 1], which is high and lofty in the sense of majestic "the upward call of GOD in CHRIST JESUS." [Philippians 3. 14] We are assured that the called are "called according to HIS purpose." [Romans 8. 28]

We are also instructed to "be even more diligent to make your call and election sure." [2 Peter 1. 10] There are many instructions in HOLY SCRIPTURE regarding our calling, and even though the calling is GOD’S work and prerogative, we are expected to add to our faith "virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love." [2 Peter 1. 5 - 7]

We are "called to be saints." [Romans 1. 7] This is the purpose for which we have been called, invited by GOD to become one of HIS chosen, we are to be holy! Everything in our lifestyle should center around the fact that "we are HIS workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS for good works." [Ephesians 2. 10]

Other expressed characteristic of our calling are the results of that holy character, which should be the ever-controlling prevailing factor in our lives. The specifically cited traits in this context are attitudes of lowliness [Philippians 2. 1-3], and meekness [Colossians 1. 12 -17], while "endeavoring to keep the unity of the SPIRIT in the bond of peace." [Ephesians 4. 3] This is summarized in Paul’s closing comment to the Corinthian church: "Become complete (perfect). Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the GOD of love and peace will be with you." [2 Corinthians 13. 11]

Just as Y’SHUA, the ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, joyfully submitted to HIS FATHER'S will, we should eagerly, cheerfully, willingly, and enthusiastically submit to GOD our HEAVENLY FATHER.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Our souls thirst for YOU, O FATHER GOD, as the hart after the refreshing water brook. When we would escape from the storms of earthly life, where can we find refuge but in YOU? As one week swiftly follows week and man gives no heed, so pass the years away, and the end of our works draws near. Help us so to live that our souls may look upon these transient scenes with calmness and contentment, assured that at last we shall rest in the light of YOUR countenance and rejoice in YOUR goodness forever. Truly, freedom of the soul comes through obedience to YOUR commandments.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Time will, ever so slowly, reveal on the outside what GOD has been working on, on the inside.

BEHOLD, I COME!
"Then I said — "Behold, I come! In the MEGILLAH CEPHER (SCROLL OF THE BOOK) it is written of ME. I delight and desire to do YOUR will, O MY GOD; YOUR Law is within MY heart." [Psalms (Tehillym) 40. 7 - 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

David wrote these words by DIVINE inspiration foretelling the coming of MESSIAH. This was written and recorded hundreds of years before the event of HIS coming into the world as the LIVING WORD. Later this message was quoted by the writer of Hebrews, "Therefore, when HE came into the world, HE said: Sacrifice and offering YOU did not desire, but a body YOU have prepared for ME. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin YOU had no pleasure. Then I said — Behold, I have come, in the volume of THE BOOK it is written of ME, to do YOUR will O GOD." [Hebrews 10. 5 - 7]

This was the main purpose that INFINITE GOD became a MAN, to fully and completely do the will of the TRIUNE GOD which was planned before the foundation of the world. "You were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. HE indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through HIM believe in GOD, WHO raised HIM from the dead and gave HIM glory, so that your faith and hope are in GOD." [1 Peter 1. 18 - 21]

The LORD JESUS told us the reasons for HIS coming — "The SON OF MAN has come to seek and to save that which was lost." [Luke 19. 10] All mankind are sinners deserving GOD'S wrath and punishment, but Y’️ESHUA also came to save us from our sins and iniquities. HIS salvation includes everything we desperately need for forgiveness of sin . . . then HE freely gives us the wondrous gift of eternal life. "I am the LIVING BREAD which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this BREAD, he will live forever; and the BREAD that I shall give is MY flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world." [John 6. 51]

This free gift of everlasting life begins the moment we partake of that LIFE-GIVING BREAD by faith believing in HIS NAME and receiving HIS GIFT. This transaction results in a changed life, our life now lived for HIS service in full obedience. Y’️SHUA declared, "I am come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." [John 10. 10] "For GOD did not send HIS SON into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through HIM might be saved." [John 3. 17] The wonders YOU, O LORD my GOD have done...YOUR desires for us are more then we can comprehend...none can equal YOU!

O saints of the MOST HIGH GOD, aren't you ecstatically thankful that the LORD Y’️ESHUA, the PRINCE OF PEACE, came!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Walk boldly in the light and warmth of GOD'S compelling love. And, may the HOLY ONE fill you with HIS perfect peace, wonderful joy and indescribable happiness. By HIS great mercy, GOD has given us a new birth into a LIVING HOPE through MESSIAH Y’️SHUA!
Have a blessed and joyous CHRIST-filled Chanukkha/CHRISTmas Season. . . may your home be filled with the joy and peace that only the BLESSED LORD can bring daily. Happy Chanukkah and Merry CHRISTmas!
Our love & prayers, Rabbi Del & Rifkah

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 15 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin Wed 29 Nov 2017, 12:05 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Intelligence makes a great first impression.

A FAITHFUL PROVERB
"This is a faithful saying: For if we died with HIM, we shall also live with HIM. If we endure, we shall also reign with HIM. If we deny HIM, HE also will deny us. If we are faithless, HE remains faithful; HE cannot deny HIMSELF." [2 Timothy 2. 11 - 13]

How often we find the phrase "if, then, will, shall" showing the choice is always ours. If we be dead with CHRIST JESUS, then we shall also live with HIM, "And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, HE has made alive together with HIM, having forgiven you all trespasses." [Colossians 2. 13] Our FAITHFUL HIGH PRIEST has made atonement for us, and we shall be forgiven for all the things that we have done in which we have trespassed. "The priest shall make expiation on his behalf before the LORD, and he shall be forgiven for whatever he may have done to draw blame thereby." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 5. 26 Tanakh, Torah- Leviticus 6:7 KJV]

If we are willing to endure suffering, then we will also reign with our LORD — "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears MY voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with ME. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with ME on MY throne, as I also overcame and sat down with MY FATHER on HIS Throne." [Revelation 3. 20 - 21] "If anyone loves ME, he will keep MY WORD; and MY FATHER will love him, and WE will come to him and make OUR home with him." [John 14. 23]

If we deny the LORD Y’SHUA, HE will also deny us — "Therefore whoever confesses ME before men, him I will also confess before MY FATHER WHO is in heaven. But whoever denies ME before men, him I will also deny before MY FATHER WHO is in heaven." [Matthew 10. 32 - 33] "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the BOOK OF LIFE; but I will confess his name before MY FATHER and before HIS angels." [Revelation 3. 5]

And, if we are treacherously unfaithful or do not believe, KING Y’SHUA remains faithful still. HIS promises are sure whether they be warnings of judgments or promises of blessings. The SOVEREIGN OF THE UNIVERSE promised Joshua: "No one shall be able to resist you as long as you live. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for you shall apportion to this people the land that I swore to their fathers to assign to them. But you must be very strong and courageous to observe faithfully all the Law and Teachings that MY servant Moses commanded you. Do not deviate from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful and prosper wherever you go." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 1. 5 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Because of GOD'S faithfulness, we can be sure that HIS sayings are faithful and HE cannot deny HIMSELF. Our GREAT & MIGHTY GOD is loving, faithful. and true! May we continually bow down and worship HIM!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
MOST HOLY ONE, YOU are blessed beyond all hymns, praises and consolations that may be uttered in this world. My soul desires YOU in the night. Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek YOU early; for when YOUR judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Therefore, in the shadow of YOUR wings I will rejoice. HalleluYAH! Amen!

Post  Admin Sun 26 Nov 2017, 11:04 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Reality is only a memory ahead of its time.

UNSTABLE FOUNDATIONS
"For the LORD will exonerate HIS people, have compassion on and take revenge for HIS servants, when HE sees that their power is gone, and neither bond nor free is left." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 36 Tanakh, Torah]

"The Law is powerless, decisions fail and justice never emerges; for wicked villains surround the righteous men — therefore perverse, deformed judgment proceeds." [Habakkuk 1. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Today, at this very moment in time, these portions of HOLY SCRIPTURE are happening now and being fulfilled daily.

Most people, Jew and Gentile, are blinded walking about in intense darkness. "They do not know the thoughts or designs of the LORD, they do not discern or understand HIS counsel or intent; HE has gathered them like cut grain to the threshing floor." [Micah (Michah) 4. 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Evil thinking and wicked life-styles thrive and flourish when those in authority are making decisions and passing laws to our devastation bringing total destruction.  "All the foundations of the earth are unstable" [Psalms/Tehillym 82. 5] for the HOLY ETERNAL ONE will shake the foundations of the earth in the wrath of HIS judgment.  The Hebrew word for foundation is "mowcad" portrayed as the footing, base, groundwork or cornerstone.

"When the power of the holy people has come to an end, then all these things shall be fulfilled." [Daniel (Danyel) 12. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  The Jewish teachers of the Law say it this way —  "When the power of the holy people is completely shattered...then MESSIAH will come." This also is truth, "I will shake the heavens, and the earth will leap out of its place, at the fury of the LORD OF HOSTS on the day of HIS fierce burning wrath." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 13. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]   Because of the extreme wickedness of all the nations, "the sun and the moon are darkened, and stars withdraw their brightness. The LORD will roar from Zion and shout aloud from Jerusalem, so that heaven and earth tremble. But the LORD will be a SHELTER to HIS people, a REFUGE to the children of Israel." [Joel (Yoel) 3. 15 - 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Furthermore, the POSSESSOR OF HEAVEN & EARTH says — "In just a little while longer I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and dry land; I will shake all the nations. And the PRECIOUS DESIRE of all nations shall come, and I will fill this Temple with glory, said the LORD OF HOSTS." [Haggai (Chagai) 2. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"See that you do not refuse HIM WHO speaks, for if they did not escape who refused HIM WHO spoke on earth. Much more shall we not escape if we turn away from HIM WHO speaks from heaven, WHOSE VOICE then shook the earth; but now HE has promised, saying — Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven." [Hebrews 12. 25 - 26]

The LORD GOD only requires you to ASK (Ask-Seek-Knock) HIM into your life and seek the REDEEMER OF ISRAEL, "So I say to you, Ask! and it will be given to you; Seek! and you will find; Knock! and it will be opened to you." [Luke 11. 9]  Then, HE will exalt and glorify you. "Seek the LORD while HE can be found, call to HIM while HE is near. Let the wicked give up his ways, the sinful man his plans; let them turn back to the LORD, and HE will have mercy and pardon him; for our GOD freely forgives." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 55. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]   Wonderful! Wonderful! is our LOVING, FAITHFUL, REDEEMING LORD GOD & SAVIOR!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We bid farewell to Sabbath by singing the song in the Havdallah ceremony that exclaims, “the Prophet Elijah, the Tishbite from Gilead, may he come to us soon with the SON OF DAVID, the MESSIAH” — the GREATER ONE that we fix our gaze on.  We also pray that GOD, WHO separates the holy from the secular, forgive our sins, guide our life and open our mouth to declare HIS praises continually.
May the ALL-PRESENT ONE fill our upcoming week with HIS DIVINE PRESENCE that HE may be glorified; and may some of the sweetness of Sabbath be present throughout your week days. “Tov Shavua — have a good week!”
Grace be with you all, Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Never mind the remorse, don't commit the sin!

BOTTLED TEARS
"YOU (LORD GOD) keep count of my wanderings; put my tears into YOUR bottle; into YOUR record book." [Psalms (Tehillym) 56. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew prophets mention professional mourners, who were called in at the time of sorrow to express mourning for the dead.  "Send for the skilled women, let them come. Let them quickly start a wailing for us that our eyes may run with tears, our eyelids flow with water." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  Tears flow freely and openly in the Oriental custom, a highly emotional peoples - at such times they are considered to be a definite means of bringing comfort to sorrowing hearts. [John 11. 33]  It was not uncommon to see the tears being gathered and collected into bottles and kept as special remembrances.

The weeping woman, a sinner, who washed the feet of MESSIAH Y’SHUA  with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head, was none other than Miryam (Mary) the sister of Martha and Lazarus.  The tears she wept and the precious bottled tears were used to wash the feet of her LORD, then she proceeded to kiss and anoint them with the fragrant oil from the alabaster flask. [Luke 7. 37 - 50]  Though her sins were many, they were forgiven, for she loved much.  Noticeably, the more one is forgiven, the more they are able to love!

Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, desired that his people would have a change of heart so they too could be forgiven, "Oh my suffering, my suffering! How I am pained and writhe! Oh, the walls of my heart! My heart moans within me, I cannot be silent; for disaster overtakes disaster." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 4. 19-20 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "That is why I say — Let me be, I will weep bitterly; do not labor to comfort me because of the ruin of my poor people." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 22. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "Oh, that my head were water, my eyes a fountain of tears! Then would I weep day and night for the slain of my poor people!" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Draw near to GOD and HE will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and HE will lift you up." [James 4. 8 - 10]  The HOLY CREATOR GOD OF ISRAEL stores our tears and they are precious to HIM as we "delight to do HIS will and keep HIS Law in our heart." [Psalms/Tehillym 40. 8]  Great and wondrous promises belong to those who seek for the TRUE & LIVING GOD in sincerity; and trust and obey.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May your heart be filled with intuition and your words be filled with insight; songs of praise ever be upon your tongue and your vision be on a straight path before you. May your eyes shine with the light of holy words and your face reflect the brightness of the heavens; and, your lips ever speak wisdom and your fulfillment be in righteousness even as you ever yearn to hear the words of the HOLY ONE OF OLD.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Silence is the only successful substitute for brains. [Maurice Samuel]

DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY
"When the HELPER comes, WHOM I shall send to you from the FATHER, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH WHO proceeds from the FATHER, HE will testify of ME." [John 15. 26]

There is only One GOD, yet three PERSONS: GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT — each with HIS own distinct relation to mankind; each equally, fully, and eternally GOD. Although these truths are implicit throughout the NEW COVENANT, the Doctrine of the Trinity is seldom, if ever, presented explicitly as a formal doctrine.

Many times SUPREME CREATOR called HIMSELF "the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac, and the GOD of Jacob." HE seemed to love to reveal HIMSELF through this NAME, and this is the revelation of the FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT. Abram means "the exalted father" who became Abraham, "the father of a multitude." Isaac means "laughter" — he was the promised son, the joy of his exalted father, Abram. Jacob is known as the "heel grabber or supplanter" — the one who became Israel — "a prince with GOD" and this speaks of the work of the HOLY SPIRIT.

There are several passages in the NEW COVENANT where all THREE PERSONS of the GOD-head are mentioned in the same context, and each one deals with a significant aspect of the CHRISTian life. First, is the provision of salvation, "the blood of CHRIST, WHO through the ETERNAL SPIRIT offered HIMSELF without spot to GOD." [Hebrews 9. 14]

Regeneration follows salvation. "And because you are sons, GOD has sent forth the SPIRIT of HIS SON into your hearts, crying — ABBA FATHER." [Galatians 4. 6] Salvation and regeneration are then publicly testified in baptism "in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT." [Matthew 28. 19]

The believer's prominent resource is prayer and this also involves all THREE PERSONS. "For through MESSIAH we both have access by one SPIRIT unto the FATHER." [Ephesians 2. 18] The believer must also continue to learn of MESSIAH Y’SHUA, and to bear witness of HIM. "The HOLY SPIRIT, WHOM the FATHER will send in MY NAME (Y’SHUA), HE shall teach you all things. The SPIRIT OF TRUTH, which proceeds from the FATHER, HE shall testify of ME; and you also shall bear witness because you have been with ME from the beginning." [John 14. 26 - 27]

We have eternal assurance in TRIUNE GOD’S promise: "The grace of the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA and the love of GOD, and the communion of the HOLY SPIRIT be with you all. Amen!" [2 Corinthians 13. 14] All power, praise, honor and glory to the THREE-IN-ONE!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Welcome Sabbath, Queen of the Week! Sabbath Vayetze —“And He Went Out” [Sabbath Reading: Genesis 28:10-32:3; Hosea 12:12-14; John 1:41-51]
May you find a rest of love freely given, a rest of truth and sincerity, a rest in peace and tranquility, in quiet and safety; a perfect rest in which you find favour. Exalt the KING OF GLORY, the LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH, WHO gives true Sabbath peace & rest.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 15 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin Sat 25 Nov 2017, 1:24 am

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The key to the treasures of the ETERNAL ONE is reverence.

FOREVER ENDURES
"The LORD abides (endures) forever." [Psalms (Tehillym) 9. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This world and the heavens are going to all pass away completely as everything decays and dies — "they will perish…grow old like a garment." [Hebrews 1. 11] But GOD, the ALMIGHTY CREATOR, is eternal! "May the glory of the LORD endure forever; may the LORD rejoice in HIS works." [Psalms (Tehillym) 104. 31 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The great name of the KING OF GLORY will never change. "May HIS NAME be eternal; while the sun lasts, may HIS NAME endure. Men shall be blessed in HIM; all nations shall call HIM blessed." [Psalms (Tehillym) 72. 17 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Likewise, HIS righteousness and character is everlasting, "Wealth and riches are in HIS House, and HIS righteousness lasts forever. HE is gracious, compassionate, generous and righteous." [Psalms (Tehillym) 112. 3 - 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Psalms 136 declares the MIGHTY ONE'S ever-enduring mercies and concludes with wonderful assurances and promises. "O, give thanks and praise to the GOD OF HEAVEN! HIS mercy and steadfast love is forever." [Psalms (Tehillym) 136. 26 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Since the HOLY ONE'S perfect righteousness and everlasting great mercy will last forever, we should continually thank and praise HIM with every breath in our being.

The wondrous, life-giving WORD OF GOD will also endure. This is confirmed in both OLD & NEW COVENANTS — "The LORD exists forever; YOUR WORD stands firm in heaven. YOUR faithfulness is for all generations; YOU have established the earth, and it stands." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 89 - 90 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the WORD OF THE LORD endures forever." [1 Peter 1. 24 - 25]

GOD'S love, so rich and pure, will always endure, eternity will be filled with HIS great love. "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of GOD which is in CHRIST JESUS our LORD." [Romans 8. 38 - 39]

We know for certainty that we shall also live forever, because the HOLY ONE is forever. "His (David's) seed shall continue forever, his throne, as the sun before ME; as the moon, established forever, an enduring witness in the sky. Selah" [Psalms (Tehillym) 89. 36 - 37 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of GOD abides forever." [1 John 2. 17] O the riches we, who serve the LORD OF GLORY, have in abundance awaiting us; and the great joy in serving and loving HIM even now.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Return to the HOLY ONE OF JACOB. In returning to HIM you will find rest and be saved and receive quietness, confidence and strength. So, let us celebrate the ties of love and faith that bind us in the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH, the GREAT GOD of our salvation. Give thanks to the LORD, call on HIS NAME; make known among the nations what HE has done. Sing to HIM, sing praise to HIM; tell of all HIS wonderful acts. 1 Chronicles 16:8-9
Give thanks to the LORD, for HE is good; HIS love endures forever. Psalm 136:2 As you reflect on our many blessings give thanks to the ONE WHO has provided so richly for us.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Time is GOD'way of preventing everything from happening all at once.

BEING THANKFUL
"Enter HIS gates with praise and thanksgiving, HIS courts with acclamation. Praise HIM! Be thankful to HIM! Bless HIS Name!" [Psalms (Tehillym100. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The majority of occurrences of the word thankful or thanks in the OLD COVENANT are translated from the Hebrew word "yadah" which means to hold out the hand, to extend an empty handrevereor worship with extended hands

A truly thankful person is one who has come to grips with certain realities about his need before the GREATGOD of all flesh.  The ALMIGHTY ONE commands us to be thankful.  It was a duty given to the Levitical priests "to be present every morning to praise and extol the LORD, and at evening too." [1 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 23. 30 Tanakh, Kethuvim]   When the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE, brought the Israelites back to Jerusalem in the times of Nehemiah "he began with thanksgiving, with prayer and praise"[Nehemiah/Nechemah 11. 17] and the Levites "led the thanksgiving psalms and songs." [Nehemiah (Nechemah) 12. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word used by the OLD COVENANT writers is a picture of one holding out an empty, thankful hand to the ETERNAL ONE.  There is nothing we can bring to GOD that causes HIM to bless us.  Our empty hands picture our inadequacy to accomplish the will of the EVERLASTING FATHER (in our own strength), or to provide for our own needs or the needs of others.

The prophet Jonah "prayed to the LORD his GOD from the belly of the fish" [Jonah/Yonah 2. 1] and even in this loathsome dilemma proclaimed, "but I, with loud THANKSGIVING, will sacrifice to YOU; what I have vowed I will perform. Salvation is of the LORD." [Jonah (Yonah) 2. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Nebuchadnezzar had to learn this lesson.  Although he had been warned to repent of his arrogant, boastful, self-importance he still uttered, "There is great Babylon, which I have built by my vast power to be a royal residence for the glory of my majesty!" [Daniel (Danyel) 4. 30 Tanakh, Kethuvim] This great king was driven out by OMNIPOTENT GOD and caused to eat grass "like the cattle and beasts of the field" — and when his senses returned, Nebuchadnezzar realized that even a mighty king's hands are empty unless the MIGHTYKING of kings fills them.

In our generation, people deny their dependency upon their MAJESTIC HEAVENLY CREATOR.  "Because that, when they knew GOD, they glorified HIM not as GOD, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened." [Romans 1. 21]   Our witness to this darkened world is to live with the reality of our own empty hands extended in thankfulness to "THE ONE" WHO supplies ALL our needs.  "O LORD, YOU open YOUR hand, they (and weare well satisfied." [Psalms (Tehillym) 104. 28 Tanakh, Kethuvim] How majestic is HIS ways in all the earth!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We gratefully acknowledge and adore YOU, O INVINCIBLE LORD, our GREAT GOD, that YOU are our CREATOR and PRESERVER, the ROCKof our life and the SHIELD of our help. We give thanks to YOU for our lives which are in YOUR hands, for our souls which are ever in YOUR keeping, for YOUR wondrous providence and for YOUR continuous goodness, which YOU bestow on us day by day. Truly, YOUR mercies never fail and YOUR lovingkindness never ceases. Therefore we forever put our trust in YOU
Giving thanks brings the light forth instead of hiding it, it is shared, not spoken in secret, but shouted with joy. For this is not about us. In the light of others we see the love GOD has shown in our lives and praise HIM for the love Hshows. HIS love is the LIGHT that shines out of us.  Be filled with thanksgiving in your heart shining bright into the lives of those who so desperately need the love, peace and joy that burns brightly in you.
Giving thanks brings the light forth instead of hiding it, it is shared, not spoken in secret, but shouted with joy. For this is not about us.  In the light of others we see the love G
OD has shown in our lives and praise HIM for the love Hshows. HIS love is the LIGHT that shines out of us.  May this season be filled with thanksgiving in your heart shining bright into the lives of those who so desperately need the love, peace and joy that burns brightly in you.
Thank YOU LORD for WHO YOU are — MASTER DESIGNER, FATHER, REDEEMER, LOVER — WHO loves us deeply even when we fail to love those around us. And thank YOU for the opportunities YOU give us each day to show the world that we follow YOU and YOUalone...for we too are aliens and strangers in this world.
“I will praise YOU, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all YOUR wonders.” — Truly, giving thanks is too precious to be reserved for just one day a year!
Our love and blessings to each of you,
Rabbi Del & Rifkah

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Suffering is always a preparation for greatness.

THANKFUL BEYOND MEASURE
"In everything give thanks; for this is the will of GOD in CHRIST JESUS for you." [1 Thessalonians 5. 18]

This can be one of the most challenging passages in HOLY SCRIPTURE when suffering and  adversity surrounds us.  Yet it is a command along with supporting instructions: "Be filled with the SPIRIT...giving thanks always above all things to GOD THE FATHER in the NAME of our LORD JESUS CHRIST." [Ephesians 5. 18, 20]  "Rejoice in the LORD always. Again I will say, REJOICE! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The LORD is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to GOD; and the peace of GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through MESSIAH Y’SHUA." [Philippians 4. 4 - 7]

Even in tribulation we are to be thankful and give glory to our LOVING LORD GOD — "glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope." [Romans 5. 3 - 4]  This is done by faith alone, following the perfect example of the HUMBLED & EXALTED MAN OF SORROWS. "Let this mind be in you which was also in MESSIAH Y’SHUA." [Philippians 2. 5]

No matter the trials we must endure, we will never have to suffer as did THE GALILEAN when HE, "for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame." [Hebrews 12. 2]  We are instructed in the OLD COVENANT — "If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, in which you trusted, they wearied you, then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 12. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  Simply stated...if a little pain overcomes you, how can you endure the cross?

"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." [2 Corinthians 4. 1 - 18]  Knowing the just shall live by faith, we should not hide ourselves in times of trouble from the MIGHTY INTERCESSOR.

And through faith, we can face any situation knowing they are in accordance to HIS OWN purpose and grace.  Then we, who are loved with ALMIGHTY GOD'S inestimable everlasting love know with full assurance, it is GOD WHO works all things out for our good, for those who love HIM. [Romans 8. 28]

So we can rejoice more and more giving thanks and praise continually to the TRUE & LIVING GOD WHO not only loves us, but does all things amazingly and beyond measure.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We give thanks with a grateful heart remembering and praising our MIGHTY CREATOR. To those who know the SAVIOR thanksgiving and worship are our way of life every day.  HEAVENLY FATHER, teach us to emulate YOUR OWN grace and mercy. Cause YOUR truth to fall upon our hearts like seed upon fertile ground. And, may we learn to love YOUR Law ever more deeply and to find in it the beauty of holiness. Amen
Happy & Blessed Thanksgiving! Truly, giving thanks is such a cherished conversation with the PRECIOUS ONE WHO redeemed us, do it every day, you will be continually grateful that you did!
“Give thanks to the LORD, call on HIS NAME; make known among the nations what HE has done. Sing to HIM, sing praise to HIM; tell of all HIS wonderful acts. Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is GOD'S will for you in CHRIST JESUS.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Keep three things in mind that you may escape the results of evil: Know where you came from, where you are going, and before WHOM you will have to give a full account for your deeds.

 MOMENTS
"For a little while I forsook you; but with great mercies and vast love I will bring you back. In a little wrath, for a moment, I hid MY face from you; but with kindness everlasting I will have mercy on you and take you back in love, says the LORD your REDEEMER." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 54. 7 - 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This compassionately gracious promise to Israel gives a praiseworthy insight into the character of the LORD GOD as well as the relation of time-to-eternity.  The DIVINE LOVING OMNISCIENT CREATOR is also a GOD OF WRATH — for HE must punish unrepentant sin in HIS people.  Nevertheless HE is much more the GOD OF MERCY. HIS prolonged judgment on HIS chosen people, Israel, is only for a tiny moment compared to HIS everlasting kindness toward redeemed Israel in the ages to come.

This theme occurs a number of times in HOLY SCRIPTURE: "For HIS anger endures but for a moment" David said, "when HE is pleased there is life; weeping may linger for the night, but at dawn there are shouts of joy." [Psalms (Tehillym) 30. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]   To those faithful to the RENOWNED ONE during a time of judgment against their nation or against the world, the ALMIGHTY says — "Go! MY people, enter your chambers, lock your door behind you; hide but a little moment, until the indignation passes." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 26. 20 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

A time for testing or a time for judgment may persistently continue for many days, months or even years.  Comparatively, however, this is only a moment in relation to an eternity of the blessing to come.

The word "moment (Hebrew: rega)" plainly expresses sudden, instant, wink of the eye, quick.  Applied explicitly to NEW COVENANT CHRISTians, it is said — "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." [2 Corinthians 4. 17]   "For behold! I am creating a new heaven and a new earth; the former things shall not be remembered, they shall never come to mind. In all MY Sacred Mount, the Holy Land, nothing evil or vile shall be done — says the LORD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17, 25 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Mercifully and lovingly the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL allows trials to discipline, guide and develop us.   This works to our advantage as impurities are being removed, leaving behind only that which is lasting, precious and pleasing.  The goal of our lives is to bring praise, honor and glory to our LORD GOD and MESSIAH Y’SHUA.  If troubles, sufferings, and grief can best achieve this supreme priority, so let it be.  May the OMNIPOTENT GOD OF HEAVEN & EARTH give us eyes of faith to see these moments of affliction in the light of eternal glory with HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
As we bid farewell to Shabbos, our prayer is that GOD, WHO separates the holy from the secular, forgive our sins, guide our life, fill our upcoming week with HIS DIVINE PRESENCE. May the GOD OF HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in HIM, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT. Have a wonderful week expecting great blessings from our Wonderful LORD GOD.
May your ever-growing faith in the GREAT & LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER and CHRIST JESUS, HIS PRECIOUS SON, grant you the privilege to witness and experience the marvelous miracle of being delivered from the yoke of slavery to sin and its consequences.
Be sure to brighten others with encouragement and a joyful smile! Enjoy some of the sweetness of Sabbath throughout your week days!  Go with GOD.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Smart is when you believe only half of what you hear. Brilliant is when you know which half to believe.

SIN & CONFESSION
"All unrighteousness is sin." [1 John 5. 17]

People come up with different definitions as to what sin is, and the most common definition is "missing the mark" or a "failure to live up to an expected standard." However, this definition fails to take into account that when the mark is missed, something is hit.

The Apostle John simply defined sin as "lawlessness" and strongly advises believers not to do such things. John then goes on to inform us what we are to do if we do sin.  "My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an ADVOCATE with the FATHER, JESUS CHRIST THE RIGHTEOUS. And HE HIMSELF is the PROPITIATION for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. Now by this we know that we know HIM, if we keep HIS commandments." [1 John 2. 1 - 3]

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." [1 John 1. 8]  "If we say that we have not sinned, we make HIM a liar, and HIS WORD is not in us." [1 John 1. 10]  Sin is a choice, we have the potential to obey or disobey.  And it is possible for a believer to loose his rewards.  "Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of CHRIST does not have GOD." [2 John 1. 8 - 9]   "Are you so foolish? Having begun in the SPIRIT, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so many things in vain?" [Galatians 3. 3 - 4]  "Whoever endures TO THE END shall be saved." [Matthew 10. 22; 24. 13]

"Whoever abides in HIM does not sin." [1 John 3. 6]   Do not play games with your soul.  Don't be deceived by your own emotions, images or ideas of what you think the ETERNAL LORD GOD means — Read what HE says; Accept what HE commands; then Prepare yourself to know HIM personally and fully (trust and obey).  "Awake to righteousness, and do not sin." [1 Corinthians 15. 34]

"If we walk in the light as HE is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of JESUS CHRIST HIS SON cleanses us from all sin. If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." [1 John 1. 7, 9]   Hold on to the ENDURING ONE, HE is faithful to save.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Most blessed are YOU, O GOD, YOU are hidden from the eyes of all the living and are beyond the comprehension of all creatures. The mind of genius cannot comprehend more than a broken fragment of YOUR glory. The tongues of poets and sages falter as they seek to express YOUR incomparable wisdom and splendor. Yet though YOUR greatness surpasses our understanding, we feel YOUR nearness and are overcome with wonder and with awe as we behold the signs of YOUR soon-coming.
May the grace of our LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH be with your spirit as you prepare to stand before the WONDROUS KING.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
To prevent irritating others, be as vague as possible, but do it with enthusiasm.

GLORIFIED VISION
"In the midst of the seven lamp-stands ONE like the SON OF MAN, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band." [Revelation 1. 13]

This is a sanctuary scene, a priestly scene, as viewed in the OLD COVENANT Tabernacle and Temple.  The ANCIENT OF DAYS is seen inspecting the Church (HIS people) just as Aaron inspected the candlestick in the Holy Place — noticing the oil supply, the condition of the wicks, and snuffing the carbon, if necessary, so the lights would burn bright.  The lamp-stands represent testimony — "You are the light of the world" and "judgment begins at the HOUSE OF GOD" — so MESSIAH Y’SHUA trims and refines HIS Church into perfection.

"Clothed with garments down to HIS feet" symbolizes dignity and honor.  The LORD Y’SHUA, in a priestly robe, is a Priest; a royal garment, a King; in a judicial attire, a Judge (Prophet).  This robe is made of linen which represents righteousness (to be holy).  The Holy Garments of linen are the mitre (head-dress, turban), broidered coat, girdle and the breeches. Symbolically, they are worn to show:  the Mitre — holiness of thought; Broidered Coat — holiness of heart; Girdle — holiness of service; Breeches — holiness of flesh.

The robe was seamless indicating no beginning and no ending.  The hem of the blue (heaven’s color) robe had alternating bells and pomegranates.  Pomegranates with their multitude of seed indicating fruitfulness.  The bell, which is gold, has a tongue in it.  Gold for DIVINE, a tongue for telling the testimony. The bells ring clearly because of the pomegranate between each bell.  Our LORD JESUS wore the fruit and bells spiritually all around the hem of HIS seamless garment as HE walked upon the earth.  HE had a clear ringing testimony which was backed up by the fruit of HIS life.

The JEWISH TALMUD proclaims: "The Bells said to the fruit-bearing Trees — Why do you not make any noise? —The Trees reply — Our fruits are sufficient advertisement for us."

"The Golden Belt around HIS breast" speaks of HIS righteousness; the gold, HIS Divine Glory.  As the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, Y’SHUA will usher in the "Day of Vengeance." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 63. 1 - 4]   Because HE is the SON OF MAN, HE will judge all humanity.  "For as the FATHER has life in HIMSELF, so HE has granted the SON to have life in HIMSELF, and has given HIM authority to execute judgment also, because HE is the SON OF MAN." [John 5. 26 - 27]

"HIS head and HIS hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and HIS eyes like a flame of fire." [Revelation 1. 14]  "HIS head and hairs, white as wool" illustrates JESUS' fatherhood and patriarchal dignity and wisdom as the ANCIENT OF DAYS.  The LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH is all this!  In HIM is all the full divine perfections of GOD'S nature embodied.   In HIM is all the hidden treasure of divine wisdom and spiritual illumination.

"Eyes as a flame of fire" shows intelligence - burning, all penetrating intelligence. . . power to read secrets, to bring hidden things to light, to warm and search all hearts at a single glance.  Nothing is hidden from HIM WHO is OMNISCIENT GOD.

"HIS feet were like fine copper, as if refined in a furnace, and HIS voice as the sound of many waters." [Revelation 1. 15]  "HIS feet were like burning copper refined in a furnace."  Copper represents judgment.  "I will glorify the place where MY feet rest." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 60. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "HIS feet shall tread down HIS enemies; they shall tread the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of ALMIGHTY GOD." [Revelation 19. 15; Isaiah/Yeshayah 63. 1 - 6]

"Voice as the sound of many waters" show that HE is powerful, yet altogether lovely.  "See that you do not refuse HIM WHO speaks, for if they did not escape WHO refused HIM WHO spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from HIM WHO speaks from heaven WHOSE VOICE then shook the earth." [Hebrews 12. 25; Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 25. 30-31; Psalms/Tehillym 29]

"HE had in HIS right hand seven stars, out of HIS mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and HIS countenance was like the sun shining in its strength." [Revelation 1. 16]   "In HIS right hand seven stars" — here the LORD JESUS is seen upholding and sustaining the ministry of HIS Church. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 41. 10]   "Out of HIS mouth...a sharp Two-Edged Sword" this is HIS OWN WORD, the LIVING, ACTIVE, POWERFUL WORD OF GOD, by which HE shall judge the Church. [Hebrew 4. 1 2]   "HIS countenance as the sun shines in HIS strength." MESSIAH Y’SHUA is the GREAT CREATIVE SOURCE from which all light comes.  HE is the "SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS." [Malachi/Malakhi 4. 2]   Y’SHUA is "the LIGHT of the Eternal City." [Revelation 21. 23; 22. 5]

"And when I saw HIM, I fell at HIS feet as dead. But HE laid HIS right hand on me saying to me — Do not be afraid; I am the FIRST and the LAST." [Revelation 1. 17]   Here the glory of MESSIAH'S presence is too great — words cannot describe HIM — HE is so overwhelming to see, John is completely prostrated as though dead.  But, John is reassured by the words of the LORD — Fear Not! John's fears and ours are forever gone when we realize MESSIAH Y’SHUA'S three-fold revelation of HIMSELF: "I am HE WHO lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death." [Revelation 1. 18]  "I am the FIRST and LAST" — now MESSIAH shows HIS deity. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 41. 4; 48. 12; Revelation 22. 13]  "I am HE WHO lives and was dead, and behold, I AM ALIVE FOREVERMORE." [Revelation 1. 18]   The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the LIVING ONE WHO tasted death on our behalf, WHO was victorious over all and came forth CONQUEROR & GLORIOUS KING.

"I have the keys of death and hell." The LORD Y’SHUA holds the keys (authority, power over) of hell. [Revelation 1. 18]  Y’SHUA, the KING ETERNAL, opens and none can shut, HE shuts and none can open.  While death still holds the bodies of the Saints temporarily, their spirits are no longer in Hades, but in the heavenlies with JESUS CHRIST THE LORD.  The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Church in the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH.  Hallelu'YAH!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We give thanks and praise to the LORD GOD our GUARDIAN & REDEEMER. May the love of your HOLY NAME and YOUR Law be rooted deep in our soul and quicken every heart to draw nearer to YOU. May our knowledge of YOU rise like the morning dawn as our longings and aspirations reach out toward a higher goal. May our faith be unshaken and our heart undismayed as we labor and wait for the fulfillment of YOUR prophets of old. And, may YOUR Law be established in the hearts of men and that YOUR children unite in peace and love to serve YOU, our FATHER, the ALMIGHTY AWESOME GOD. Amen!
There are no accidents; everything that happens to us is purposeful and for the best. We can feel secure knowing that we are wrapped in GOD’S loving embrace. All praise to GOD ALMIGHTY!
Together, let's prepare our hearts to celebrate and exult in GOD’S amazing love, grace and mercy by continually giving HIM thanks and look to the birth of Y’SHUA and triumphantly proclaim: “Thanks be to GOD for HIS indescribable gift!” 1 Corinthians 9:15  Hearts are truly thankful, when we thank GOD continually for HIS blessings; and when we do we are changed inside.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Learning is a path, not a destination.

LIFE & FAITH
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." [Hebrews 11. 1]

The Hebrew word for faith is "emuwn (pronounced ay-moon')" meaning truth, established, faithful, trusting or trustworthy. To the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA, the attribute of faith is of the highest importance for the realization of His PERFECT HUMANITY. Y’SHUA is the CHIEF WITNESS of faith — the LEADER of all the witnesses of faith, and the AUTHOR & FINISHER of our faith. Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH fulfills, in detail, every one of the examples recorded in the Book of Hebrews!

What is a Life of Faith?
A Life Lived In Complete Dependence On GOD. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE will direct (smooth) your paths." [Proverbs (Mishle) 3. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim] It was said of and known about JESUS, the WORD MADE FLESH, "HE committed HIMSELF to the LORD." [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Y’SHUA said of HIMSELF — "I live because of the FATHER, so he who feeds on ME will live because of ME." [John 6. 57] It is recorded of the SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS saying, "I will put MY trust in HIM (GOD THE FATHER) — Here am I and the children whom GOD has given ME." [Hebrews 2. 13] MESSIAH YESHUA said HE could do nothing of HIMSELF, HE depended completely on the FATHER. [John 5. 19] The LORD JESUS "was faithful to HIM (the FATHER) that appointed HIM (the SON)." [Hebrews 3. 2]

A Life Lived In Communion With GOD. In the words written by David concerning MESSIAH YESHUA, "I am ever mindful of the LORD'S PRESENCE; HE is at my right hand; I shall never be shaken. For YOU will not abandon ME to Sheol, or let YOUR FAITHFUL ONE see the Pit." [Psalms (Tehillym) 16. 8, 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "HE WHO sent ME is with ME. The FATHER has not left ME alone for I always do those things that please HIM." [John 8. 29 ] The LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA lived in constant communion with GOD. [Mark 1. 35]

A Life Lived In Obedience To GOD. The LORD YESHUA proved HIS obedience in HIS humanity. "In the days of HIS flesh, when HE had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to HIM WHO was able to save HIM from death, and was heard because of HIS GODly fear, though HE was a SON, yet HE learned obedience by the things which HE suffered." [Hebrews 5. 7 - 8] JESUS said, "I always do those things that please MY FATHER." [John 8. 29-c] "I have kept MY FATHER'S commandments and abide in HIS love." [John 15. 10] "MY meat is to do the will of HIM that sent ME, and finish HIS work. For I have come down from heaven, not to do MY OWN will, but the will of HIM WHO sent ME." [John 4. 34; 6. 38] "I come to do YOUR will, O GOD." [Hebrews 10. 7, 9; Mark 14. 36; Luke 22. 42]

A Life Lived In Assured Confidence In The Unseen Rapture. The HOLY ANOINTED REDEEMER knew there was joy awaiting HIM after death "for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the Throne of GOD." [Hebrews 12. 2] The LORD JESUS believed that GOD THE FATHER would raise HIM from the dead. [Psalms/Tehillym 16. 10] HE also promised HIS disciples that HE would come again after HE had gone away. "In MY FATHER'S house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU TO MYSELF; that where I am, there you may be also." [John 14. 2 - 3]

Furthermore, we who believe and fully trust JESUS THE CHRIST, our BLESSED REDEEMER, live in assured, certain, secure confidence because of this promised hope. We know in WHOM we belief and are fully persuaded for HOLY ALMIGHTY ONE is faithful and true!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Life's challenges work out for the best when we recognize what appear to be obstacles as opportunities to develop ourselves for the better and recognize that all things come from OMNIPOTENT GOD'S invisible hand that guides our lives.
Blessed are YOU, O GOD, our salvation and our help. Everything that lives shall give thanks to YOU forever and shall praise YOUR NAME in truth. YOUR NAME is ALL-GOOD, and unto WHOM it is becoming to give thanks. Life is a blessing! You are an integral part of GOD’S plan; the favor of the LORD'S blessings are brought by HIS good pleasure. Consider your latter end: fear the LORD GOD, the HOLY CREATOR, take heed to HIS counsel, seek understanding.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Vision without action is a daydream. Action without GODLY vision is a nightmare.

WORLD OFF COURSE
"They neither know, nor do they understand; they go about in darkness, all the foundations of the earth are unstable and off course." [Psalms (Tehillym) 82. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

More times then not, we wish we could call down GOD’S judgment on the wicked, especially the wicked rulers that abound in every office throughout the world. Men and women in almost every civilization throughout history, have been oppressed by their own despotic rulers or invaders from outside their nation’s borders. It seems that the Jewish people and CHRISTian believers, especially have received more than their share of persecution, and it is a comfort to realize that there is BIBLICAL precedent for the grieved saint to call out to the ALMIGHTY ONE for action and justice. Asaph, the author of Psalm 82 does just that.

The judges of his day were evidently quite unjust. The psalmist calls on them to "defend the poor and orphans; vindicate the afflicted and needy, rescue the wretched and needy; save them from the hand of the wicked." [Psalms (Tehillym) 11. 3 – 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Asaph’s cries, however, were not heeded. The rulers are devoid of understanding and walked in darkness, thus "all the foundations of the earth are unstable and off course."

Today, those who defend animal rights yet they promote the killing of unborn children. Many campaign and riot to demand that the "guilty are to be protected" after all, "they have their rights." Yet at the same time, they ignore the innocent victim. . . so where are their rights? Those who adhere to educational freedom try to persuade us that only evolution is science, and creation must not be allowed to be taught in schools. Laws are passed that state we must tolerate other’s view points, and accept their most un-GODly actions and legalized perversions of others; yet BIBLICAL views are called "hate crimes."

By edict from the president and legislation down to local government, homosexuals now have favored status. Clearly, they are calling evil good, and good evil. This truly is "out of course" and being so totally "off course" from anything good, since it is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because of this perverse legalized action, the world will certainly be destroyed by the wrath of GOD MOST HIGH.

Our confidence rests solely in the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN WHO "stands in the congregation of the mighty; HE pronounces judgment on the gods" of this world. [Psalms (Tehillym) 82. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim] HE sees the injustice and will act accordingly, as HE does all things well and repays the heathens who "mocked the messengers of GOD, disdained and despised HIS WORDS and scoffed at HIS prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against HIS people, till there was no remedy." [2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 36. 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The HOLY RIGHTEOUS ONE will act, it may be sooner or later than we would like, but HE will act at the proper time, in the appropriate way. Though HE may tarry, HE is long-suffering. Meanwhile, we must pray and be about our FATHER’S matters and continue to, "seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld HIS Law. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden on the Day of the LORD'S anger." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 2. 3 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

With the psalmist, our daily cry must be "Arise, O GOD, judge the earth." [Psalms/Tehillym 82. 8] Until then, "carefully obey all these commandments which I command you to do — to love the LORD your GOD, to walk in all HIS ways, and to hold fast to HIM, serving HIM with all your heart and soul." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 11. 22 Tanakh, Torah] And, "Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in HIM, and HE shall bring it to pass. HE shall bring forth your righteousness to shine forth like the light, and your justice as the noonday. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for HIM. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret — it only causes harm. For evil men shall be cut off for carrying out their schemes. But those who wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the land." [Psalms (Tehillym) 37. 5 - 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
"The words of the wise are like prods." Ecclesiastes 12:11 Just as the prod directs the ox to plow in a straight line, so, too, does TORAH guide and condition one to think in the paths of life. [Talmud – Chagiga 3b] Only a mind conditioned to thinking from GOD'S point of view, as revealed in the TORAH, can view the world without distortion. After their Exodus from Egypt, the Jewish people needed to follow GOD into a harsh, howling desert, and place themselves totally in HIS care, before they could receive the TORAH. And after the gift of the TORAH, they still needed to be chastised time and again, as we read throughout the Book of Numbers, until they molded their attitudes and opinions to a TORAH perspective. GOD'S HOLY WRITTEN WORD is HIS pathway to a blessed life here and an eternal life with our BELOVED SAVIOR. Read and follow the instructions faithfully, you will be forever grateful.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Don’t pray for tasks equal to your powers; pray for powers equal to your tasks.

TO BE LIKE HIM
"That I may know HIM and the power of HIS resurrection, and the fellowship of HIS sufferings, being conformed to HIS death." [Philippians 3. 10]

The Apostle Paul had a strong desire to know MESSIAH in an intimate fashion — to experience an even closer and higher relationship. This text lists three things which we will also desire and experience if we have that same longing for a close personal relationship with the LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH.

The power of HIS resurrection: The triumphant victory of Y’SHUA over sin and death exhibited HIS great power. Paul desired for the resurrection of the body, "if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead." [Philippians 3. 11] But more so, he longed for power over sin and to "be dead indeed to sin, but alive to GOD in CHRIST JESUS our LORD." [Romans 6. 11] "Become dead to the Law through the body of CHRIST...that we should bear fruit to GOD." [Romans 7. 4]

The fellowship of HIS sufferings: Again Paul’s desire is to know the LORD MESSIAH, and that aspiration was so great he was more then willing to suffer as his SAVIOR had suffered, if need be. Paul did suffer in many ways — in labors, in stripes, in prisons, in deaths, five times he received forty stripes minus one, beaten with rods, stoned once, shipwrecked three times, a night and a day in the deep, in journeys, in perils of waters, robbed, in perils from countrymen, in perils from Gentiles, in perils in the city, in wilderness, in the sea, among false brethren; in weariness and toil, lack of sleep, hungry, thirsty, in fastings, in cold and nakedness — besides the other things. [see 2 Corinthians 11. 23 - 28] "For to this you were called, because CHRIST also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow HIS steps." [1 Peter 2. 21] "If indeed we suffer with HIM, that we may also be glorified together." [Romans 8. 17] "For to you it has been granted on behalf of CHRIST, not only to believe in HIM, but also to suffer for HIS sake." [Philippians 1. 29]

Being made conformable to HIS death: The Apostle Paul was more then willing to die as the MESSIAH had died and, he did die a martyr’s death when he was beheaded in prison in Rome. However, the death Paul wanted was to be like Y’SHUA it was to gaining complete victory over all sin. For the body of sin will be done away with when he dies for "he who has died has been freed from sin." [Romans 6. 7] "Therefore, since CHRIST suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of GOD." [1 Peter 4. 1 - 2]

To know the ALL-TOGETHER LOVELY ONE in this manner, to be conformed to HIM as was Paul’s desire, primarily demands developing the servant’s heart and selfless humility that took MESSIAH Y’SHUA to the cross. "And we know that the SON OF GOD has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know HIM WHO is TRUE; and we are in HIM WHO is TRUE, in HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. This is the TRUE GOD and ETERNAL LIFE." [1 John 5. 20]

Y’SHUA, GOD’S INCARNATE TABERNACLE, assures us that HIS "grace is sufficient for you, for MY strength is made perfect in weakness." [2 Corinthians 12. 9] To be like JESUS is my desire. What’s yours?

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Welcoming & Celebrating Shabbat! Sabbath Toldot – “Generations” [Sabbath Reading: Genesis 25:19-28:9; 1 Samuel 20:18-42; Matthew 10:21-38] Lecha Dodo likrat Kala p’nei Shabbat n’kabelah: “Come out my Beloved the Bride to meet. The inner light of Shabbat, let us greet. Come out my Beloved the Bride to meet.”

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Much experience is the crown of the old men and the fear of GOD ALMIGHTY is their glory.

INFINITELY GOD
"And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying — Blessing and honour and glory and power be to HIM WHO sits on the Throne, and to the LAMB, forever and ever! Amen" [Revelation 5. 13]

The BELOVED LAMB is one with, and yet distinct from "HIM that sat on the throne." [Revelation 4. 10; 5. 1, 6 - 7] The Four Beasts or Living Creatures, and the 24-Elders "fell down before the LAMB" to worship HIM. If, as cultists maintain, the ANOINTED LAMB OF GOD is less than the OMNIPOTENT CREATOR, how would violating of the first commandment, "You shall have no other gods before ME" [Exodus/Shemot 20. 3] be tolerated in ALMIGHTY GOD'S OMNIPOTENT PRESENCE? The answer: Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH is the INVINCIBLE, SUPREME GOD OF HEAVEN — WHO is ONE with HIM (GOD THE FATHER) WHO sat on the Throne!

Worship is given to GOD THE FATHER: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our GOD forever and ever. Amen" [Revelation 7. 12]

Worship is given to GOD THE SON: MESSIAH Y’SHUA receives the same praise given to GOD THE FATHER — "Worthy is the LAMB WHO was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory and blessing!" [Revelation 5. 12]

"I am YEHOWAH (the LORD), that is MY NAME; and I will not yield MY glory to another." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 42. 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "For MY sake, MY own sake, do I act — lest MY NAME be dishonored! I will not give MY glory to another." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 48. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im] In view of the fact that the LORD JESUS shares in GOD'S glory; HE cannot be another GOD. The LORD Y’SHUA is, as HE said — "ONE (Hebrew: echad — a compound unity) with the FATHER." [John 10. 30]

This does not, in any way, diminish the praise and honor due the FATHER. HE is to be worshipped and praised for loving us so very much that HE commissioned the SON (MESSIAH Y’SHUA) to save sinners. The SON (JESUS) said — "all men should honor the SON, even as they honor the FATHER." [John 5. 23] The SON is to be exalted above angels — "For to which of the angels did HE ever say: "You are MY SON, today I have begotten you"? And again: "I will be to HIM a FATHER, And He shall be to ME a SON"? But when HE again brings the firstborn into the world, HE says: "Let all the angels of GOD worship HIM." [Hebrews 1. 5 - 6]

The human personality is difficult to understand, much less the complex intricacy of GOD ALMIGHTY being infinitely more so. The TRI-UNITY OF GOD is so revealed throughout HOLY SCRIPTURES as the EVER-LIVING ONE proclaims HIMSELF as GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON and GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT — Perfect TRINITY.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Six Strategies for Spiritual Growth 1- Give others the benefit of a doubt and don’t judge them for their weakness. Practice kindness even if you don’t feel like it. 2- Every day has a purpose whether you’re working or on vacation. Keep your goal and make each day count. 3 - Pray at least three times a day. You start your day saying “thanks”. You stop in the middle to recognize the Source of your blessings, and you think about all your gifts before going to bed. 4 - King Solomon said: “A righteous person falls seven times and gets up.” Don’t let the fear of failure get in the way. Keep trying, the effort itself is more than significant. 5 - Thru practice, you channel the material things for a higher purpose. Such as blessings over food transforms eating into a spiritual act. 6 - Honoring the Sabbath gives our soul the chance to strengthen and grow by granting us this precious recovery time each week.
It has been shown that all might know that the LORD, HE is GOD, there is none other. HE alone does wonders, for HIS mercy endures forever. The glory of the LORD is eternal, the LORD rejoices in HIS works. Blessed be the NAME OF THE LORD from this time forth and forever; for out of Zion goes forth the Law and the WORD OF GOD from Jerusalem.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Incompetence is a global epidemic — take precautions to insure you are immune. . . read GOD’S HOLY WORD and comply with it!

DO NOT SIN
"Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your wrath." [Ephesians 4. 26]

Many times a CHRISTian is rightly angered by some circumstance or unkind word and thereby is tempted to retaliate. However, for the CHRIST-like-one, such a reaction is sin. More wisely, we would get control of our anger before the sun sets. We are not to let our anger continue until it develops into sinful actions.

The OLD COVENANT commands were the same: "Tremble and sin no more; ponder it on your bed, sigh and be still." [Psalms (Tehillym) 4. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] When angered, it is much better to wait and talk with the ALMIGHTY ONE about it in your bed rather then react in the streets, or at home against those who have infuriated us.

The LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA alone is our PERFECT EXAMPLE "WHO, when HE was reviled, did not revile in return; when HE suffered, HE did not threaten, but committed HIMSELF to HIM WHO judges righteously." [1 Peter 2. 23]

This is often one of the most difficult areas to overcome in the believers life. James says, "No man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our GOD and FATHER, and with it we curse men who have been made in the similitude of GOD. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so." [James 3. 8 - 10] When we are cursed, we should, on the contrary, return a blessing, "knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing." [1 Peter 3. 9] What man cannot tame, GOD CAN!

"So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of GOD." [James 1. 19 - 20] "The end of a matter is better than the beginning of it. Better a patient spirit than a haughty spirit. Don't let your spirit be quickly exasperated, for exasperation abides in the breasts of fools." [Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 7. 8 - 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written: Vengeance is MINE; I will repay — says the LORD." [Romans 12. 18 - 19] We must deliberately strive for peace, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." [Romans 12. 21] Remember, "anger in a house is like a worm in a plant." [TALMUD] And, the greater blesses the lesser!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If we are to prevail, we must unite under the banner of the Jewish MESSIAH — celebrating our unique heritage, our unique message, and our unique privilege to bring inspiration to the world.
Let us rejoice in ALMIGHTY GOD’S plan in which the threats and schemes of the wicked will ultimately be turned to eternal good.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
