Americans acclimated to persistently low inflation may be in for a shock in the months to come. Prices are already shooting up. Corn prices are up around 50 percent this year. Lumber prices are nearly four times what is considered typical. Copper hit a new record on Friday. Soybeans are at their highest level since 2012. Oil is at its highest since 2018. Gasoline prices are near multiyear highs.

On Wednesday, the Department of Labor will issue its monthly report on the Consumer Price Index. Economists expect prices to rise a mild two-tenths from the month prior, a slowdown compared with the six-tenths in March. Core prices, which exclude food and energy, are expected to see a steeper 0.3 percent gain, matching March's higher than expected figure. But it's the year-over-year figures that may startle. Economists expect CPI to jump 3.6 percent compared to last year, the most since 2014. That reflects the fact that the year-ago numbers were distorted by the initial "flatten the curve" phase of lockdowns, which severely depressed demand for everything except toilet paper, sanitizer, and yeast to home-bake bread.

Fed officials and most investors think the bout of inflation will be short-lived. Not everyone is convinced. The heightened prices of so many raw goods could push up prices at the retail level for months to come, especially if shortages are not quickly resolved. In a Bloomberg op-ed on Monday, former New York Fed President William Dudley argued that the market is underestimating how high the Fed might have to push interest rates to tamp down inflation once it gets going. A sustained three percent inflation rate could require a Fed target of 4.5 percent, Dudley warns. Nothing like that is currently priced in the bond market, implying that investors would suffer a serious blow if that were to come to pass.

Speaking of shortages, President Joe Biden once again weighed in on the subject of whether unemployment insurance is a factor in the difficulties business leaders say they are having finding workers. The Biden administration last week tried to make the case that high levels of benefits were not adding to the reported labor shortage, pointing to covid fears and childcare needs as the likely culprit. But apparently, the White House senses that this message had few takers, which is why the president returned to it again Monday. This time around President Biden said jobless benefits couldn't be keeping people out of work because anyone turning down a job would lose the benefits—something that simply hasn't been true in most states throughout the pandemic period.

The Biden administration faced its first China test this week and flunked it. Secretary of State Antony Blinken began the meeting by lecturing China that its action in Xinjiang and Hong Kong were “threatening the rules-based order that maintains global stability.” China responded by immediately breaking the rules of the very meeting—in which opening remarks were supposed to be limited to two minutes—to launch into a lengthy harangue about America's "human rights violations" and racism. Chinese diplomat Yang Jiechi engaged in an 18-minute tirade against the U.S. moral standing in the world.

"China has made steady progress in human rights, and the fact is that there are many problems within the United States regarding human rights, which is admitted by the U.S. itself as well," Yang said.

All this would be humiliating enough, but team Biden made it even worse by not standing up for the United States against China's outrageous accusations. In fact, Blinken's people agreed to the premise that America is a deeply flawed country that needs to be made "more perfect" through progressive policy. As it turns out, when your administration preaches critical race theory and spends its energy deploring white privilege, it's hard to turn around and defend yourself against foreign tyrants who accuse your country of being racist.

It was always going to be a struggle to build the multilateral coalition to put pressure on China that Biden promised on the campaign trail. But what happened in Alaska has probably assured that the plan will fail. Who is going to look to U.S. leadership after watching our diplomats get bullied by China on our home turf?

Nike quarterly sales missed estimates, with the company blaming shipping issues and pandemic-related slumping sales at brick-and-mortar stores. The company also disappointed investors with its full-year revenue forecast. This shouldn't have been too surprising. With many schools still shuttered, school sport-related purchases have fallen off steeply. Gyms have been closed in much of the country. Things like pick-up basketball games have been declared off-limits in cities. And with people staying home more, there is just less demand for shoes in general. Few of us have worn out the treads on the sneakers we bought prepandemic.

The good news is that Americans are starting to travel again, even though the Centers for Disease Control still say we should avoid doing so. Data from the TSA indicates that airline travel hit the highest level in over a year, although still well below prepandemic levels. Hotel occupancy hit its best level since the pandemic in March as well.

Dominion Voting Systems filed a lawsuit against pro-Trump attorney Sidney Powell on Friday for defamation after she alleged in numerous reports and interviews the company was tied to election fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

The company is seeking $1.3 billion in damages.

Forbes reported Dominion’s attorney sent a “cease and desist” letter to Powell in December “demanding she retract her “knowingly baseless” claims and said other suits could follow:

While going after Powell was Dominion’s first priority, the company has suggested it may file subsequent lawsuits against others who have spread the conspiracy theory. Dominion has sent letters warning of potential litigation to the White House, Fox News, Newsmax, One America News and a number of Trump-allied individuals, including his lawyer Rudy Giuliani, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News personalities Sean Hannity and Maria Bartiromo, conservative attorney Lin Wood and Melissa Carone, who Giuliani has pushed as a witness to the purported election fraud. 

John Poulos told Axios Monday, saying their legal efforts would be “thorough and exhaustive.” Poulos has also not ruled out that the company could sue Trump himself.

Friday, Rep. Katherine Clark (D-MA) called on President Donald Trump to be “removed from office” over the riots at the U.S. Capitol this week.

Clark said on CNN’s “New Day” if Vice President Mike Pence is not going to invoke the 25th Amendment, as has been reported, then Congress will move forward with impeachment. She expects the articles of impeachment to be brought against Trump “as early as mid-next week” as President-elect Joe Biden is set to take be inaugurated in less than two weeks.

“Donald Trump needs to be removed from office, and we are going to proceed with every tool that we have to make sure that that happens to protect our democracy. If the reports are correct and Mike Pence is not going to uphold his oath of office and remove the president and help protect our democracy, then we will move forward with impeachment to do just that,” Clark threatened.

“[W]e know that we have limited time, but that every day that Donald Trump is President of the United States is a day of grave danger,” she added. “So, we can use procedural tools to get articles of impeachment to the floor for a House vote quickly. We have already had Chairman Jerry Nadler, chair of the Judiciary Committee, say that he will use those tools to bring the articles as fast as possible.”

“When is that?” host John Berman asked.

“Well, that will be, you know, as early as mid-next week,” Clark replied. “We do have a process we have to go through, but let’s be clear what’s at stake here. We have a president who incited a seditious mob to storm the Capitol. We now have five deaths from that. And the harm to our democracy is really unfathomable.”

President Donald Trump vetoed the National Defense Authorization Act Wednesday at the White House.
The president cited the act’s failure to remove Section 230 protections for large tech companies and the effort to scrub Confederate symbols from the military as part of the reason for his veto.

“Unfortunately, the Act fails to include critical national security measures, includes provisions that fail to respect our veterans and our military’s history, and contradicts efforts by my Administration to put America first in our national security and foreign policy actions,” Trump wrote in his veto statement. “It is a ‘gift’ to China and Russia.”

Prior to the bill passing the Senate, Trump demanded that the bill include a provision to end Section 230 protections for tech companies in the Communications Communications Decency Act. The Senate did not include it before passing the bill 84-13.

“Your failure to terminate the very dangerous national security risk of Section 230 will make our intelligence virtually impossible to conduct without everyone knowing what we are doing at every step,” Trump wrote.

Section 230 allows social media companies to act as platforms not held legally responsible for content posted by users on their website. In recent years, platforms like Facebook and Twitter abused their protections by enacting draconian censorship and removal of conservative users from their service, calling their neutrality into question.

The president also criticized the bill for moving to eliminate Confederate history from the Department of defense, especially the attempt to rename prominent military bases.

“I have been clear in my opposition to politically motivated attempts like this to wash away history and to dishonor the immense progress our country has fought for in realizing our founding principles,” he wrote.
The bill will create an eight-member commission to develop a plan to purge Confederate names, symbols, displays, monuments, and paraphernalia in the Department of Defense. The commission will have a $2 million budget, with a report due October 2021. It will also be legally required to act within the next three years.

The president also defended his record of funding the military, including a record $2 trillion in spending since he became president.

“No one has worked harder, or approved more money for the military, than I have,” he wrote, boasting that he rebuilt the military during his presidency.

Congress will likely overwritde the president’s veto of the defense bill, as it passed the House and the Senate with veto-proof majorities.

Rasmussen, one of the few remaining credible pollsters worth taking seriously, found that “52% of Likely U.S. Voters think many news organizations ignored the Hunter Biden story to help his father’s presidential campaign.”

Get this… only 32 percent disagree, or said the media ignored the story because it was “a partisan hit job.” In other words, ignored it for a legitimate reason.

As far as Democrats, a whole 32 percent of Democrats believe the media covered up a legitimate story to help Biden. Non-affiliated, or “other,” totaled 46 percent.
Seventeen percent had no opinion or didn’t know.
In worse news for His Fraudulency, who we’re now required to refer to as “President-Elect Joe Biden,” a whopping 56 percent “believe it is likely Joe Biden was consulted about and perhaps profited from his son’s overseas business deals including at least one involving a company in mainland China.”

Wow.
Fifty-six percent believe Joe profited from his son’s shady, overseas business dealings. Of that 56 percent, 43 percent says its “very likely” he profited from Hunter’s shady business.

As far as Democrats, a total of 35 percent said it’s “very likely” (21 percent) or “somewhat likely” (14 percent),  His Fraudulency profited from Hunter’s shady, overseas business dealings.

That’s 35 percent of Democrats who believe that!
Only 38 percent of those polled “consider this connection [between Hunter’s business and his father] unlikely.”
So, less than 40 percent of the public believe Joe Biden is not crooked.
Rasmussen surveyed 1,000 likely voters between December 13-14, 2020. The margin of error is +/- 3 percentage points.

So Biden is not only entering office with a massive cloud over his head about his legitimacy due to claims of vote fraud and irregularities, and is not only entering office mentally and physically enfeebled, but a majority believe he knew all about Hunter’s shady business with foreign countries, and a majority believe the corporate media covered it up to drag His Fraudulency over the finish line.

Part of Biden’s problem is the widespread belief he won by way of voter fraud.

Last week, Rasmussen found that a whopping 47 percent of voters “say it’s likely that Democrats stole voters or destroyed pro-Trump ballots in several states to ensure that Joe Biden would win.”

Only 49 percent say that was “unlikely.”

So not even half the country believe it is “unlikely” Biden won without committing vote fraud.

Americans are pretty smart.

President-elect Joe Biden delivered an angry, partisan speech Monday evening upon being voted the winner of the 2020 election by the Electoral College.

Biden did not just acknowledge victory; he taunted his defeated opponent, President Donald Trump. Rather than celebrate the result and reach out to Trump and his supporters, Biden — coughing up phlegm throughout his speech — attempted to rub salt in the wound, continuing to argue the case after he had already won it.
Biden seemed annoyed that Trump had contested the results at all. He has no right to be offended.

Biden was one of the Obama administration officials who “unmasked” Michael Flynn, as part of an effort undermine the incoming administration. On the campaign trail in 2019, Biden agreed eagerly with a voter who called Trump an “illegitimate president.” He called Trump a Nazi sympathizer and compared him to Joseph Goebbels and Adolf Hitler. Biden has never apologized for that.

In his speech, Biden declared that the election was “free and fair” — a dubious claim, which I have disputed elsewhere. He  expects Americans to overlook a year of political violence, almost entirely by the left; unprecedented censorship by the mainstream media and Big Tech to cover up stories damaging to Biden’s political prospects; a debate commission stacked against Trump; and — most of all — a shift to vote-by-mail that was often pushed by Democrats over Republican objections.

Biden defended the election officials who, he said, had withstood “political pressure, verbal abuse, and threats of physical violence.”

Notably, Biden has yet to denounce the violence carried out against Trump supporters since the election, or the threats against the Trump campaign’s lawyers. During the election, he falsely claimed that left-wing rioters in Washington, DC, and Portland were “peaceful protesters.” It took him three days before he condemned riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Coughing and spluttering, Biden went on an extended rant against Trump’s effort to challenge the election results in court. There was no need to do that. The fact that the Electoral College voted the way it had was evidence enough that Trump’s legal efforts had failed.

If Biden’s goal had been to convince Trump supporters, he would have done better to reach out to them in friendship — not to “sell past the close.” If he is so certain that his victory is legitimate, why argue after the fact?

Biden continued in that vein for several minutes, reminding Americans that Trump had fired cybersecurity chief Chris Krebs after he had claimed publicly that the 2020 elections were the most secure in history. But Krebs looks decidedly less credible on a day when Google and other networks crashed, and after a weekend when the U.S. discovered a massive security breach at the Treasury and Commerce departments. The breach began earlier this year and lasted for months. Most secure ever?

At the end of his petulant address, Biden called on Americans to “unite and heal.” But evidently he expects unity and healing to flow in one direction.

Biden is, and always has been, one of the most divisive politicians in America. He is personally to blame for the fact that Supreme Court confirmations are fights to the death, for example.
Biden doesn’t have it in him to unite the nation, nor can he restrain the radicals in his party who want vengeance. He didn’t build bridges tonight; he burned them.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday that Republicans are focusing on the Rep. Eric Swalwell scandal because they are trying to distract from QAnon.

Pelosi said that it is “unfortunate” that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is calling for Swalwell’s resignation and making it an issue.

“He’s trying to deflect attention from the fact that he has Qanon in his delegation over there, and that I think is a danger in terms of our debate here,” Pelosi said, alluding to Republican Congresswoman-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene in Georgia.

Axios reported Wednesday that a suspected Chinese spy, Fang Fang, helped fundraise for Swalwell and even placed an intern in his office.

Swalwell’s office has refused to respond to any questions about his relationship with Fang, even after Fox News host Tucker Carlson reported that intelligence officials believed the Democrat congressman had a sexual relationship with her.

Pelosi defended Swalwell, despite Republicans calling for his resignation from the House Intelligence Committee.

“I don’t have any concerns about Mr. Swalwell,” Pelosi said, recalling that House leadership was informed of the Chinese’s attempts to influence members of Congress in spring 2015.
She also said she does not support background checks for interns on Capitol Hill.
“I think we should make sure that everybody knows what they are being subjected to, but I don’t know that it means we have to have background checks for every intern who comes into the Capitol,” she said.

A suspected Chinese spy was linked to at least two anonymous Midwestern mayors, according to a bombshell report from Axios.

The political journal said Fang Fang, who also goes by Christine Fang, developed political contacts primarily in California, including Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA).
It went on to report:
Fang attended regional conferences for U.S. mayors, which allowed her to grow her network of politicians across the country.

She also engaged in sexual or romantic relationships with at least two mayors of Midwestern cities over a period of about three years, according to one U.S. intelligence official and one former elected official.

“At least two separate sexual interactions with elected officials, including one of these Midwestern mayors, were caught on FBI electronic surveillance of Fang, according to two intelligence officials,” Axios said.

The outlet said it was not able to identify or speak to the elected officials.
Axios published photos of Fang with Democrat U.S. Reps. Mike Honda (D-CA) and Judy Chu (D-CA), as well as local California officials Fremont Mayor Bill Harrison (D) and San Jose city councilman Ash Kalra (D).

According to the outlet, Fang volunteered for the unsuccessful campaign of now-Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA). Fang was also a host for a 2013 event with Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI).

A Gabbard spokeswoman said the congresswoman “has no recollection of ever meeting or talking with her, nor any recollection of her playing a major role at the fundraiser.”

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners voted to accept a $6.3 million grant from the Mark-Zuckerberg funded Center for Technology and Civic Life “Safe Elections” project at a September 2, 2020 board meeting. It proceeded without asking a single question about the name of the group providing the funding, the origin of the funding, or the details of what the funding would be used for.
As Breitbart News reported, a significant chain of custody security concerns surround absentee ballots deposited in the 300 drop boxes across the state approved by the Georgia State Election Board.
The office of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said it had no idea how many of the 1.3 million absentee ballots (out of five million total votes cast) counted in the 2020 general presidential election were delivered by drop boxes vs. delivered by the mail.

According to the most recent vote tallies Joe Biden leads Donald Trump in Georgia by less than 12,000 votes.

In Fulton County, Biden received 381,144 votes compared to Donald Trump’s 137,240. Of the 523,000 total votes cast, Fulton County says 59,143 were Election Day votes, 146.994 were Absentee by Mail , 314,985 were Advanced Voting Votes, and 3.537 were Provisional Votes.

President Donald Trump urged Joe Biden to ‘get well soon’ after the former vice president injured his foot Sunday.
“Get well soon!” Trump wrote on Twitter, sharing news footage of Biden leaving an orthopedic office in Deleware.

Biden’s office said, “On background” that the former Vice President “slipped while playing with his dog Major, and twisted his ankle” while at his home in Delaware.

Biden was taken to an orthopedist for an examination and an x-ray.

A statement from Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the director of executive medicine of George Washington Medical Faculty Associates, stated that Biden had “sustained a sprain of his right foot” but transported Biden to a different medical facility for a CT scan.

The CT scan revealed that Biden did have fractures in his foot after the injury.

“Initial x-rays did not show any obvious fracture, but his clinical exam warranted more detailed imaging,” O’Connor wrote, noting that the CT scan “confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden’s lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot.”

“It is anticipated that he will likely require a walking boot for several weeks,” O’Connor concluded.

The United States is expected to have up to 500,000 fewer births next year as a result of the Chinese coronavirus crisis, according to research.

The research by the left-leaning Brookings Institute was published in the Wall Street Journal, detailing a grim future for the makers of baby and infant products because of fewer births spurred by the crisis.
The Journal notes:
The think tank has forecast between 300,000 to 500,000 fewer births in the U.S. next year, compared with a drop of 44,172 last year. Its analysis, partly based on what happened following the 2007-2009 recession, is that weaker job prospects equate to fewer births. “Women will have many fewer babies in the short term, and for some of them, a lower total number of children over their lifetimes,” it said in a June report. [Emphasis added]

The data was originally published in June and revealed that such a decrease in U.S. births would account for a 10 percent decrease compared to 2019 births. The decrease means that the total number of babies to be born in the U.S. next year is projected at about double the total number of Americans who died with or from coronavirus.

Following the Great Recession from 2007 to 2009, demographers predicted that there would be a baby boom, as had happened in the second half of the 20th century following economic declines. But, the baby boom never came.

As Breitbart News reported, birth and fertility rate data released by the U.S. Census Bureau reveals that less than 3.8 million babies were born in the U.S. in 2018 — a drop of two percent, or almost 64,000 less births compared to the year before.

Since 1971, the birth rate has been below replacement level, according to the CDC. Birth rates across all major racial groups — non-Hispanic whites, Hispanics, non-Hispanic blacks, and non-Hispanic Asians — were again below replacement level for 2018.

Despite a declining birth rate below replacement level, Republican and Democrat lawmakers have yet to lay out a national agenda to increase American births, fertility, and family rates.

When Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán implemented a pro-family agenda to increase his nation’s birth rate among similar rapid decline, the nation saw a 5.5 percent increase in the birth rate and a 5.7 percent increase in the fertility rate compared to before the policies were implemented.

A senior minister would not rule out a third lockdown, following government scientists saying that a January 2021 shutdown may be enforced on the nation as payment for having a few days of freedom over Christmas.

Environment Minister George Eustace also said on Monday that the even just the beginning of a return to normality might not happen until the summer — only if a vaccine is approved and made widespread.


 
Speaking to Sky News, Mr Eustace said it was “too early to say” whether the UK would be forced into another lockdown after the holiday period, and attempted to play down the possibility, saying: “Provided we maintain the tiered approach for as long as necessary, I don’t think it’ll be necessary to go back into another full lockdown.”

However, he added: “You can’t rule anything out because this is a rapidly developing situation… It’s always difficult to predict what will happen.”

The government recently announced a relaxation of rules for five days over Christmas, allowing Britons to have limited family festivities restricted to “bubbles” of three households. Public Health England and a governmental chief medical advisor said that for every day of freedom would cost five days in shutdown, meaning nearly the whole of January could be massively restricted. Professor Neil Ferguson, who left his senior government advisory role in May in disgrace after breaking lockdown but still appears to be involved in the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE), also predicted a third lockdown.

The British government is reportedly set to introduce vaccine stamps in passports by next year for those who have been inoculated against the Chinese coronavirus, ostensibly to boost the travel industry.
The vaccine stamps are being worked on by the Department for Transport (DfT), as airline bosses throughout the world look to make such restrictions mandatory for travelling.
A supporter of the passport stamps, Conservative MP James Sunderland, told The Telegraph: “Pets need a vaccination passport when travelling between the UK and Europe and this would be a fantastic way of ensuring freedom of movement for people too.”

We must do everything possible to boost the economy by re-opening our travel, hospitality, leisure and business sectors and how fantastic would it be to have our planes, trains and boats full again.
“A vaccination stamp is simple, would save all the hassle at either end and really boost confidence.”
Government sources told the newspaper that Aviation Minister Robert Courts is “upbeat and supportive” of the idea. Prime Minister Boris Johnson also said earlier this month that his transport secretary Grant Shapps was “looking at all such schemes”.

Majority of Britons Believe Black Lives Matter Has Increased Racial Tensions

An outright majority of Britons believe the Black Lives Matter movement has increased racial tensions, along with a 44 per cent of people from ethnic minorities.
According to an Opinium survey of over 2,000 people, some 55 per cent of Briton’s believe Black Lives Matter has made race relations in society worse rather than better. The remaining 45 per cent of respondents were not all actively opposed to this idea, either, with the figure for people who actively disagreed standing at just 17 per cent.
The proportion of white people who believed BLM had inflamed matters was slightly above the national average, while the proportion of Conservative voters with that believe was an astonishing 70 per cent.
This illustrates what may be a growing gulf between Conservative voters and Conservative party politicians on BLM-related issues, with the government having been somewhat limp and permissive in its attitude towards the group’s activism and ideology, and even attempting to appease it — with Home Secretary Priti Patel declaring that “Mandatory training is being introduced for new and existing members of Home Office staff to ensure that everyone working in the Department understands and appreciates the history of migration and race in this country” in July, for example.

Iranian state media reported on Friday morning that top nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was assassinated near the capital city of Tehran by unidentified “terrorists” after a fierce battle with his security team.

Fakhrizadeh was described as the “father of the Iranian bomb” in a famous 2018 presentation by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.


 

Iran’s Tasnim news agency quoted a statement from the Defense Ministry that said “armed terrorist elements” attacked Fakhrizadeh’s car on Friday, severely wounding him during a firefight with his bodyguards. 

According to Tasnim, the injured nuclear scientist was taken to a hospital, where “efforts by the medial teams to resuscitate the Iranian scientist failed and he was martyred.”

Tasnim reported explosives were used in the attack and “a number of people have been killed in the incident,” possibly including relatives of Fakhrizadeh who were traveling with him. 

Iran’s Fars news agency says the attack included “an explosion and machine gun fire.”

“Eyewitness accounts confirmed that Fakhrizadeh’s car came under attack first by a blast and then by two terrorist teams who sprayed bullets at his car as they moving in opposite directions. Eyewitnesses also said three to four individuals, most likely all terrorists, have been killed in the attack,” Fars reported, stating that at least two other dead bodies were spotted at the hospital.

Iran’s PressTV quoted Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif claiming there was evidence of Israeli involvement in the attack.

“Terrorists murdered an eminent Iranian scientist today. This cowardice – with serious indications of an Israeli role – shows the desperate warmongering of the perpetrators,” Zarif said on Twitter.

Dr. Anthony Fauci believes that Thanksgiving could mark the beginning of a bleak winter, warning that the pandemic could worsen throughout the holidays and encouraging Americans to “be careful” as Christmas approaches, though he is personally looking forward to “Christmas in 2021.”

In an interview with USA Today, Fauci explained that he will more than likely forgo his traditional Christmas plans, as he did for Thanksgiving. According to the outlet, he spoke to his three daughters virtually and enjoyed dinner with his wife.


 

“For my own family, I’m saying we had a really great Thanksgiving and Christmas last year. We’re looking forward to a really great Thanksgiving and Christmas in 2021,” Fauci told the outlet.

“Let’s now make the best of the situation and show our love and affection for people by keeping them safe,” he said, repeating the cries of Democrat governors, some of whom have urged Americans to stay away from their loved ones on the holidays.

Fauci warned that the current surge of the Chinese coronavirus could continue through the new year:

If the surge takes a turn of continuing to go up and you have the sustained greater than 100,000 infections a day and 1,300 deaths per day and the count keeps going up and up … I don’t see it being any different during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays than during Thanksgiving.

Johns Hopkins University data reported 181,490 new cases of the virus on Thursday. Cases have been spiking across the U.S. despite the fact that leaders in well over two dozen states have imposed state and regional mask mandates, some of which have been in effect for months.

A November 19 Breitbart News analysis found:

Governors in 36 states have enacted statewide face-covering orders. Meanwhile, local officials have implemented mask mandates in several jurisdictions in the remaining 14 states.

The data suggests the infections are going up regardless of the mandates. However, some researchers, including at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), have indicated that the effectiveness of mask mandates is conditional on compliance of other enacted mitigation measures such as social distancing. Still, some researchers have conceded that compliance is nearly impossible to assess.

In recent days, 32 states (and Puerto Rico) with statewide mandates in effect for over a month, and nine states with regional mask orders, saw their already rising average of new daily infections reach unprecedented levels.

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director added that Americans need to “be careful” as the big holidays, such as Christmas and New Year’s, approach, given the nature of such celebrations being indoors with “singing and laughing and eating and drinking.”

Earlier this week, Fauci warned Americans to wear a mask indoors while visiting others on Thanksgiving. The White House Coronavirus Task Force member also made waves last weekend after he suggested that masks and social distancing will be necessary, even after a vaccine is ready and available.

A University of Texas-San Antonio (UTSA) student was kicked out of her sorority over a pro-Trump TikTok post featuring a sign reading “All Lives Matter.” Sorority leadership at the school told the student that language suggesting “all lives matter” is “extremely hurtful” and “unsisterly.”

UTSA student Jaycie Barton, a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA) sorority as well as president of the school’s Turning Point USA (TPUSA) chapter, posted a video supporting President Donald Trump to her TikTok account in August.


 

The video, an eight-second clip featuring demonstrators holding an American flag and signs reading “Trump 2020,” “All Lives Matter,” and “Back the Blue,” subsequently got the student kicked out of her sorority.

On September 19, Barton received an email from UTSA ZTA’s judicial chairman, informing her that she had been charged with failing to “cooperate in the best interest of the Fraternity,” and for conducting herself “in a manner detrimental to her chapter and/or members of the Fraternity,” among other things.

The email went on to clarify that the charges were specifically for: “the statement ‘All Lives Matter’ is extremely hurtful to our sisters and is very unsisterly,” adding, “ZTA stands for Black Lives Matter and the statement ‘All Lives Matter’ goes against ZTA’s belief.”

“We have what’s called judicial board, where you get called up when you’ve done something wrong in the sorority,” explained Barton to Breitbart News, adding that a disciplinary hearing regarding her TikTok post was later held via Zoom.

During the sorority’s disciplinary hearing on September 21, one member argued that “Zeta is trying to be more inclusive, and saying ‘all lives matter’ is not being very inclusive.”

“It’s very unsisterly and very hurtful to a lot of people,” the member added.

Barton, however, told Breitbart News that she does support black lives.


 
“It’s pretty clear that I do support black lives,” said Barton. “And I don’t understand how the sorority cannot see that the word ‘all’ includes everyone.”

The student added that when she initially joined the sorority, no one had made her aware that she would have to support the Marxist political organization Black Lives Matter in order to retain her membership.

“I wasn’t joining the sorority to be a supporter of BLM,” said Barton. “I joined for philanthropy, which was breast cancer education and awareness, and to work alongside our sisters that would be open to all members, regardless of their political opinions and beliefs.”

Following the sorority’s disciplinary hearing, ZTA informed Barton that she had been removed from her leadership position as Risk Reduction and Education chair and that she was required “to complete a sensitivity training that involves inclusion and diversity.”

Barton said that she was later removed from the sorority completely, following another hearing regarding her TikTok post. The student added that she had requested to contact someone from the sorority’s national office regarding the matter, but that ZTA members would not allow it.

President Donald Trump pardoned his former National Security Advisor, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn (Ret.), on Wednesday.
Flynn pleaded guilty in December 2017 to lying to the FBI. He later withdrew his plea as exculpatory evidence emerged.

Flynn served in the U.S. Army for three decades. He also served as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) under President Barack Obama. However, he felt Obama was not pursuing terrorists aggressively enough. He was eventually fired.

He saw an opportunity to advocate for his views in Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. A crowd favorite, Flynn was the warmup speaker for Trump on the campaign trail. When Trump won, he named Flynn his National Security Advisor. Flynn spent the transition planning an overhaul of national security strategy; his work continues to shape Trump’s policies.

The defeated campaign of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton claimed that Russian interference had cost her the election. Senior Obama administration officials also told the media that they believed Trump had colluded with Russia. They identified Flynn as a potential link to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and warned Trump’s transition team about him.

During the transition, Flynn had conversations with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, among other foreign officials. Flynn urged Russia not to escalate its response to Obama administration sanctions for election interference, and explored the possibility that Russia might oppose an anti-Israel resolution at the UN Security Council that had Obama’s tacit blessing. These conversations were picked up by intelligence surveillance of the ambassador; they would later leak to the media, after officials — presumably, a senior official within the Obama administration — had “unmasked” Flynn’s name in the transcripts.

The FBI investigated Flynn, but found no evidence of any wrongdoing. The agency prepared to close the case, but senior officials decided to keep it open, ostensibly pursuing a theory that Flynn had violated the Logan Act, an obscure, centuries-old law that prohibits private citizens from conducting diplomacy, and which has never been prosecuted successfully.

In a fateful Oval Office meeting on Jan. 5, 2017, at which Obama’s senior national security officials were present, including then-Vice President Joe Biden, then-FBI Director James Comey discussed the investigation of Flynn. According to a memo later written by outgoing National Security Advisor Susan Rice, Obama told Comey to proceed with inquiries “by the book.” There is some dispute as to whether Biden suggested or discussed the possibility of using the Logan Act as a pretext.

Later that month, after Flynn had taken up his position at the White House, Comey sent FBI agents to interview him there, advising him not to bring counsel. Notes suppressed by the FBI but later revealed indicated that the FBI agents had discussed whether their purpose was to have him fired, or prosecuted. Flynn was not told that he was being investigated. He was asked about his conversations with the Russian ambassador. Agents later reported that they did not believe he was lying to them.

However, after the contents of the surveillance intercepts were leaked to the Washington Post, Flynn was accused of having lied, both to the FBI and to Vice President Mike Pence, who had defended Flynn several weeks before. By the second week of February, Flynn was forced to resign. He was later prosecuted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller as part of the inquiry into alleged “Russia collusion.” Flynn accepted a plea deal that required him to cooperate with the investigation, which he did; it later emerged that prosecutors had also pressured Flynn, ostensibly by threatening to prosecute his son as well.

Flynn’s sentencing was delayed while he continued cooperating with Mueller. But details of problems within the Mueller investigation began to emerge, such as the deep anti-Trump bias of senior FBI agent Peter Strzok. In a sentencing hearing, Judge Emmet G. Sullivan asked Flynn wished to withdraw his plea; Flynn declined. Sullivan had to apologize to Flynn after accusing him of betraying his country, apparently believing — incorrectly — that Flynn was accused of being a foreign agent.

A Commonwealth Court Judge ruled Wednesday that Pennsylvania election results should not be certified until a Republican lawsuit challenging the voting process is resolved.

The order, signed by Commonwealth Judge Patricia McCullough, bars all respondents from certifying the results of the election pending a hearing on Friday, November 27 at 11:30 a.m.

President Donald Trump’s campaign lawyer, Jenna Ellis, touted the development on Twitter.
The lawsuit, brought to the court by Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA), Republican Congressional candidate Sean Parnell, and others, challenges the constitutionality of Act 77. The act, which the state legislature passed and Gov. Tom Wolf (D) signed in October 2019, expanded mail-in and absentee voting in the commonwealth.

The lawsuit argues that any changes made to absentee voting should require an amendment to the commonwealth’s Constitution. If a court ruled in favor of the Pennsylvania Republican lawsuit it would invalidate all votes cast by mail in the 2020 election.

“This court must intervene immediately in order to prevent further, irreparable injury from the resulting wrongs of an election conducted pursuit to an unconstitutional and invalid mail-in voting scheme,” the plaintiffs wrote.

Attorneys for Wolf and Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar requested the court dismiss the lawsuit.

“While draped in the driest of historical arguments, petitioners’ claim is audacious; to grant it would undercut the very foundations of Pennsylvania’s democracy and snatch the most basic of rights from its people,” the attorneys wrote in their response to the lawsuit.

President Donald Trump boosted his share of Latino votes because of religious and social issues, not because of his successful economic record, according to former President Barack Obama.

Obama made the claim as he admitted November 25 to a radio host that urban Democrats are often oblivious to the views of people outside their social circle.

“People were surprised about a lot of Hispanic folks who voted for Trump,” Obama told The Breakfast Club, a radio show run by Lenard Larry McKelvey, who calls himself “Charlamagne tha God.” Obama continued:

But there’s a lot of evangelical Hispanics who, you know, the fact that Trump says racist things about Mexicans, or puts detainees, you know, undocumented workers, in cages — they think that’s less important than the fact that, you know, he supports their views on gay marriage or abortion, right?
Obama’s comments echoed his 2008 dismissal of midwestern voters’ economic worries in a speech to elite donors in San Francisco:
You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Numerous post-election surveys show that the GOP’s share of the Latino vote grew because most Latinos want to be ordinary Americans, and to escape from their assigned task of brown voters in the Democrats’ diverse alliance of racial identity groups.

Because they are ordinary Americans, Latinos liked Trump’s good economic record — median household income rose by seven percent in 2019! — and they liked the GOP’s support for anti-crime laws and other mainstream priorities — including marriage and abortion.
 
For example, on November 23, moderate author Christopher Caldwell wrote in the far-left New Republic magazine:
Trump didn’t sell out his supporters. In fact, his presidency saw something extraordinary, even if it was all but invisible from the country’s globalized cities: the first egalitarian boom since well back into the twentieth century. In 2019, the last non-Covid year, he presided over an average 3.7 percent unemployment rate and 4.7 percent wage growth among the lowest quartile of earners. All income brackets increased their take. That had happened in the last three Obama years, too. The difference is that in the Obama part of the boom, the income of the top decile rose by 20 percent, with tiny gains for other groups. In the Trump economy, the distribution was different. Net worth of the top 10 percent rose only marginally, while that of all other groups vaulted ahead. In 2019, the share of overall earnings going to the bottom 90 percent of earners rose for the first time in a decade.

the great demographic surprise of the election—Trump’s uptick among Black and Latino men—owed more to this wage progress than to Lil Wayne’s endorsement, or to Trump’s musing aloud that he had done more for Blacks in America than any president since Abraham Lincoln.

Even Politico admitted:

But, in interviews with more than a dozen experts on Hispanic voters in six states, no factor was as salient as Trump’s blue-collar appeal for Latinos. “Most Latinos identify first as working-class Americans, and Trump spoke to that,” said Josh Zaragoza, a top Democratic data specialist in Arizona, adding that Hispanic men in particular “are very entrepreneurial. Their economic language is more aligned with the way Republicans speak: pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, owning your own business

“Most Latinos in this country are working class,” [Harvard academic Ryan] Enos said. “One would have to assume that this identity of being working class is more important than this identity of being Latino.”

Even the New York Times posted an op-ed admitting that most Latinos dislike Obama-style identity politics. Breitbart News reported:

The political problem for Biden’s progressive allies is that only about 25 percent of Latinos identify themselves as a progressive-style “people of color” identity group, the authors said. The majority of Latinos “rejected this designation [because] they preferred to see Hispanics as a group integrating into the American mainstream, one not overly bound by racial constraints but instead able to get ahead through hard work.”

For example, numerous polls show that Latinos say they favor immigration but they strongly prefer border security, oppose welfare for migrants and want employers to hire Americans before importing workers.

Breitbart News reported polling data that shows Latinos favor Trump’s immigration policies:

Exit polling conducted by Zogby Analytics for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) found that Hispanic voters — including those who voted for Democrat Joe Biden — are overwhelmingly supportive of reducing overall legal immigration to the U.S., nearly as much as white Americans.

For instance, nearly 73 percent of Hispanic voters said they support reducing immigration while tens of millions of Americans are jobless or underemployed. This is just a five percent difference between white Americans who support reducing immigration.

Similarly, 6-in-10 Hispanic voters said overall legal immigration should be reduced even after the U.S. recovers from its unemployment crisis to “protect American jobs” for Americans. This is only a six percent difference between white Americans who support the policy.

Chinese Communist President Xi Jinping wants travelers to adopt a global QR code system to help determine their health status and travel “permissions” in a post-coronavirus pandemic travel reset.
During the virtual G20 summit on Saturday, Xi called for a coronavirus “global mechanism” which involves international recognition of health certificates in the form of QR codes to allow people to travel freely, according to state media.

The dictator says the system can be based on “nucleic acid testing results in the form of internationally accepted QR codes,” reported state news agency Xinhua.

“We need to further harmonise policies and standards and establish ‘fast tracks’ to facilitate the orderly flow of people,” he is quoted saying. “[We] hope more countries would participate.”

QR codes are bar codes that can be read by mobile phones that are a common tool of tracking and control in Communist China.

Under the scheme China has employed since February, users are issued a traffic-light style health code, with a green code allowing someone to travel freely, and an orange or red code indicating that they need to quarantine for up to two weeks.

The codes are based on a combination of big data and information submitted by the users themselves.

The leader of the Chinese Communist Party did not explain how the international scheme might work or if it would mirror the health code system which has been widely adopted in China.

The lack of detailed information has already been flagged by critics who see it is a piece of social engineeering.

In a tweet, the executive director of Human Rights Watch Kenneth Roth expressed caution over Xi’s proposal.

“An initial focus on health could easily become a Trojan Horse for broader political monitoring and exclusion,” he said.

China been building its own mass surveillance network for the past decade, which boasts hundreds of millions of street cameras.

The surveillance network has been billed as the world’s most powerful facial-recognition system and aims to identify any of its 1.4 billion citizens within three seconds.

China is also looking at more digital methods of ensuring its citizens comply with the strictures of the single-party state.

Not only is Gov. Kate Brown (D-OR) instituting an utterly pointless six-person limit on at-home get-togethers during Thanksgiving week, she’s calling on Oregon residents to snitch on one another if the six-person limit is violated.

If your neighbor’s party, if their loud music and revelry, is keeping you awake after midnight or whatever, your neighbor is guilty of violating your rights. Their party is intruding on your right to enjoy some peace in your own home, especially late at night.

Now, I would hope before you call the police, you would ask your neighbor to tone it down and maybe give them a little leeway on a Friday or Saturday night (I lived next door for years to a house rented to college kids, so I’m familiar with the nuances of trying not to be a dick), but the moment your neighbor’s noise or beer cans or foot crosses over to your property line, they are violating your rights.


Seven people gathered next door for Thanksgiving is not a violation of your rights. A hundred people gathered next door (as long as they don’t park like assholes) for Thanksgiving are not violating your rights.

No one is bothering you. No one is interfering with the way you live your life. Therefore, if you call the police on them, you are not being a good citizen, you are being a rat, a snitch, a tattletale, a jerk, and un-American.

Shame on you forever.

People have the right to do whatever they want in their own homes, and the Constitution declaratively goes out of its way to protect the right to peaceably assemble, and that includes over turkey and dressing.

We all know the risks of the Coronavirus. We are all educated on the risks of the Coronavirus, which means that just like it was with the gay community and AIDS thirty years ago, it is now with the China Virus — we can choose to alter our lives to avoid the risks of a virus,  or we can choose to hold on to our traditions and way of life while understanding the risks involved.

That is our choice.

Because of my wife’s health issues, we’re avoiding the risks, but if my neighbor decides to have 20-person gay orgy to celebrate Thanksgiving, explain to me how that intrudes on my rights. It doesn’t, and I’m no snitch.

Whether its unprotected sex or gathering for Thanksgiving, neither violates my rights.

Live and let live.

Let other people be.

You want peace in this world. You want peace in this country. Until they’re throwing beer cans into your yard, for the love of all that’s American, leave the other fella’ be.  

Man, you’d have to be a real scumbag, a born and bred authoritarian, to snitch on a neighbor because he invited over one too many aunts. Your neighbor did nothing to harm you, and you’re turning him into the Democrat-run Stasi, setting him up for 30 days in jail, a $1,250 fines or both.

Worse still, it is not state legislators who have authorized this. Governor Stalin is illegally imposing these lockdowns and bans (you can’t eat out, can’t go to the gym, etc.) by way of an executive order.

The Marion County Sheriff basically said he won’t enforce any of this. We recognize that we cannot arrest or enforce our way out of the pandemic, and we believe both are counterproductive to public health goals,” he said in a statement.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) warned on Sunday that certain areas of New York City are heading toward tighter coronavirus restrictions, including the most restrictive “red zone” which prohibits all gatherings deemed “non-essential.”

The Democrat governor stated some areas, namely Staten Island, Long Island, and parts of Manhattan, are “in the warning track” and could soon face additional restrictions due to concerns over rising infection rates and hospital capacity.


 

“The rate goes up; there are more restrictions to slow the economy — that’s bad for business. Rates go up, you overburden the hospital system, you overburden doctors, nurses, you can have possible equipment supplies,” he said.

“Numbers go up and people die. People die. Period,” Cuomo added.

The governor said such areas “will go into those zones” unless the existing trajectory “dramatically” changes.

“Parts of Staten Island will go into an orange zone. Parts of Staten Island will go into red zone at the current rate,’’ he continued, referring to Staten Island as a “serious problem.”

The red zone is the most restrictive, prohibiting “non-essential gatherings” — both residential and non-residential — of “any size.” Red zone restrictions also close all businesses deemed “non-essential.” The orange zone is slightly less restrictive, allowing gatherings of ten people “maximum” either indoors or outdoors, though it requires “high-risk non-essential businesses” — such as hair salons and gyms — to remain closed.

Cuomo has come under intense scrutiny in recent weeks after placing a ten-person cap on gatherings at private residences and pleading with local governments to enforce his mandate.

Former President Barack Obama told ABC’s left-wing late night host Jimmy Kimmel that “we can always send the Navy SEALs” to physically remove President Donald Trump from the White House.

Obama made the remark during an appearance Thursday on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his new memoir A Promised Land. When asked by Kimmel if the White House has any secret spots where “someone could hide” if they don’t want to leave, Obama replied: “Well, I think we can always send the Navy SEALS in there to dig him out.”

Kimmel also asked if it will be weird to call Joe Biden “Mr. President.” “No,” Obama replied, “I’ve already called him Mr. President Elect.”

Earlier in the conversation, Kimmel suggested that it is perhaps too early to assume that Biden won the election. President Trump is contesting the tallies in key swing states and has vowed to fight in court, asserting that there was fraud and that the election was rigged.
“Do you feel that when you congratulated Biden and Senator Harris that you were premature in doing that?” Kimmel asked.
“No, I thought I was right on time,” Obama replied.

Obama also praised former President George W. Bush, whom he called a “patriot.”

“When I came in, we were in the middle of a big crisis, the financial crisis. George W. Bush, he and I had obviously big policy differences, but he’s a good man, he’s a patriot,” Obama said. “And he ordered everybody on his team to work seamlessly with us on the transition. Could not have been more gracious. Could not have been more helpful. And that actually helped us be able to get a head start on trying to stem what could have been a great depression instead of a great recession.”

Jimmy Kimmel recently called for President Trump to be “arrested” after the commander in chief alleged in a November 5 speech that there was voter fraud in battleground states including Pennsylvania and Georgia.

“It was a litany of lies, threats, just a despicable and incoherent attack on democracy in the United States,” Kimmel said. “At the end of that speech, he should have been arrested.”

A whistleblower who worked for Nevada’s Clark County Elections Department listed a series of instances of nefarious behavior they witnessed in the days leading up to the election, including poll workers processing illegitimate ballots as well as non-poll workers forming a “human wall” near a Biden/Harris van to block the view of individuals purportedly filling out what the whistleblower believes to have been ballots.

In a sworn affidavit signed November 8, the whistleblower, who served as a poll worker, detailed “concerns over election polling place intimidation and voter fraud.”

One of the main concerns revolved around what the whistleblower described as the processing of illegal ballots. According to the affidavit, a team leader and two assistants told poll workers to advise those who wanted to register to vote but did not have the proper ID to make an appointment with DMV.  They were then told that they could bring in proof of their appointment confirmation — which the whistleblower described as “either a paper copy or show icon [on] their phone to us” — and be registered based on that confirmation alone.

“They were then permitted to vote with a provisional ballot, even though their appointments were not until January of 2021. We were told this was being allowed all over the Valley, at all polling places,” the affidavit reads.

Poll workers were allegedly instructed to “add two zeros (’00’) to the DMV confirmation number and put it where the Driver’s License/ID number was supposed to go when we filled in the registration form on the line.”

The whistleblower also detailed the consistent presence of a Biden/Harris bus, tent, or table in the parking lot, which offered “food, drink, and political memorabilia to voters.”

“It was a very visible feature in a very narrow parking lot. On several days they had speakers, dances, music and other festivities going on,” the affidavit reads.

The whistleblower alleges that the team leader had to repeatedly address the Biden/Harris group, reminding them to maintain a 100-foot distance from the polling place.
 
The whistleblower also detailed an incident observed during a lunch break. In late October, the whistleblower “personally witnessed two people handing multiple unopened mail-in ballot envelopes to two other people who then opened and filled out the ballots against the side of the Biden/Harris van.”

“The same two people who marked the ballots then put the marked ballots in official pink and white envelopes. These individuals were not poll workers,” the affidavit reads. Others then formed what the whistleblower described as a “human wall” in an apparent attempt to block the view of the individuals handling the envelopes:


“When the moving human wall of people noticed me walking by, they continued moving [to] block my view as I walked,” the affidavit reads.

The whistleblower alerted the team leader, who called the Clark County Elections office. The office reportedly told her that “nothing could be done about the ballots or envelopes” that the worker witnessed individuals handling outside the Biden/Harris area. The poll worker was also told that ballot harvesting is legal.
 
“What I saw was not ballot harvesting,” the whistleblower said, as they were filling out ballots, not just delivering them.

“As a poll worker, I accepted mail-in ballots that voters would surrender to me so that they could vote in person, so I know mail-in ballot envelopes are pink and white and I know that these were ballots,” the whistleblower continued.

“I regularly saw people walking in with multiple ballots. We were not allowed to talk to the monitors or observers. We were not supposed to say anything ever to the observers,” the affidavit reads.

The whistleblower also listed one instance of a “furious” man, who alleged that someone “voted on his behalf.”

On Friday, the Trump campaign formally requested public records, including records, documents, and communications, from the Clark County Election Department.

Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes (R) announced Friday that he will assist President Donald Trump’s campaign in its legal fight, calling the 2020 presidential election process “compromised.”

“Despite months of predictions about a ‘blue wave,’ @GOP kept the Senate & expanded seats in the House,” Reyes wrote on social media. “Biden & his allies know @POTUS will win if only verified, #legal votes are counted. We are making sure that happens but looks like courts may have to decide that. #RuleOfLaw.”

He added: “On personal leave time to help prepare and support litigation in several states dealing with compromised election process.”

Reyes did not specify which states he will work on. His announcement comes days after he defeated his Democrat opponent, Salt Lake defense attorney Greg Skordas, for re-election.

The Trump campaign has alleged voter fraud in the election, filing several lawsuits in key battleground states such as Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Nevada.

On Thursday, the Nevada Republican Party said its legal team sent a criminal referral to the Department of Justice regarding alleged voter fraud in the state.

“Our lawyers just sent a criminal referral to AG Barr regarding at least 3,062 instances of voter fraud,” the Nevada GOP’s official account wrote on Twitter. “We expect that number to grow substantially. Thousands of individuals have been identified who appear to have violated the law by casting ballots after they moved from NV.”

The announcement came after the Trump campaign filed a federal lawsuit in Las Vegas in an effort to halt the counting of what it described was “illegal votes” in Nevada. The campaign alleges the deceased and nonresidents cast ballots in the state’s election.

Fox News reported: “The Trump campaign alleges there are “tens of thousands” of people who voted in Nevada who are no longer state residents. The campaign said it is not seeking to stop the vote but rather ensure that every “legal“ vote is counted and that no “illegal” votes are counted.”

“We are confident that when all legal votes are tallied — and only legal votes are tallied — President Trump will win the state of Nevada,” Former Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell said in a statement to Fox News.

Democrats are expressing unease as the election enters its final stretch, acknowledging that progressives are not seeing sufficient voter turnout in Florida’s Miami-Dade — the county in which Democrats need a strong showing to flip the state blue — particularly among young, minority voters.

Statewide, Republicans have outpaced their opposition in early voting, holding a 474,229 early voter advantage and narrowing the Democrats’ overall lead (which they hold because of a sizeable increase in absentee voting) to less than 164,000 on Friday. A tweet from the National Public Radio Public (NPR) Editor on Thursday — on the day of the presidential debate — explained why the taxpayer-funded news outlet has been ignoring the growing scandal surrounding former Vice President Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden, and the family’s business dealings in China.

“Why haven’t you seen any stories from NPR about the NY Post’s Hunter Biden story,” the tweet said. “We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste listeners’ and readers’ time on that stories that are just pure distractions.”

The tweet included the link to a newsletter written by Kelly McBride, who is with the Poynter Institute, the so-called gatekeeper for good journalism.

McBrides’ justification for ignoring the real and growing scandal involving Joe Biden’s family, and now his vice presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), is:

There are many, many red flags in that New York Post Investigation. NPR Media Correspondent David Folkenflik detailed most of them … Intelligence officials warn that Russia has been working overtime to keep the story of Hunter Biden in the spotlight. Even if Russia can’t be positively connected to this information, the story of how Trump associates Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani came into a copy of this computer hard drive has not been verified and seems suspect. And if that story could be verified, the NY Post did no forensic work to convince consumers that the emails and photos that are the basis for their report have not been altered.

In fact, Breitbart News reported on what has unfolded and been verified since the New York Post report on the Bidens broke, even as Twitter and left-wing media such as NPR continue to censor the news. Breitbart News reported:

A whistleblower CEO and Biden insider, Tony Bobulinski, released a public statement on Wednesday evening backing up the reporting of the New York Post from last week and claiming that he personally witnessed Democrat presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden discussing business deals with his son, Hunter Biden.

Sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News that Bobulinski is the person whose allegations and inside information are the centerpiece of a forthcoming investigation by the Wall Street Journal. That Wall Street Journal story has not published yet, several days after the newspaper staff indicated to some the piece would come out—it is unclear why the Journal has not yet published—but President Donald Trump hinted on a conference call earlier this week that such a story was coming from the newspaper.

Bobulinski’s statement also seemingly authenticates at least one of the bombshell emails obtained by the New York Post, purportedly from Hunter Biden’s laptop retrieved from a computer repair store in Delaware. The statement also contradicts claims from some Democrats that a Russian disinformation campaign is at the center of the burgeoning scandal currently engulfing the Biden campaign in the final days of the election.

Biden family insider Tony Bobulinski has provided a trove of documents to U.S. Senate investigators from the Senate Homeland Security and Senate Finance Committees, Breitbart News has learned.

The full Senate will vote next Monday, October 26, to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced Tuesday.

“We will be voting to confirm Justice-to-be Barrett next Monday and I think that will be another signature accomplishment in our effort to put on the courts, the federal courts, men and women who believe in a quaint notion that the job of a judge is to actually follow the law,” McConnell told reporters after the Senate Republicans’ weekly lunch.
The Senate Judiciary Committee will vote Barrett out of the panel on Thursday at 1:00 P.M.

McConnell’s announcement comes after affirmed that he has secured enough votes to confirm Barrett to the nation’s highest Court.

With a 53-47 Republican majority, and just two GOP senators opposed, Trump’s nominee is on a glide path to confirmation that will seal a conservative hold on the court for years to come.

McConnell said Monday that Barrett demonstrated over several days of public hearings the “sheer intellectual horsepower that the American people deserve to have on the Supreme Court.”

Without the votes to stop Barrett’s ascent, Democrats have few options left. They are searching for two more GOP senators to break ranks and halt confirmation, but that seems unlikely. Never before as a court nominee been voted on so close to a presidential election.

President Donald Trump has continued to narrow the gap nationally as former Vice President Joe Biden leaks Democrat support, an Investor’s Business Daily/TIPP Poll released Tuesday revealed.
According to the survey, taken October 15-19 among 1,049 likely voters, Biden holds a 2.3 percent lead over Trump, 48.1 percent to 45.8 percent nationally. The Justice Department has filed its long-awaited antitrust lawsuit against Google, alleging that the Big Tech Masters of the Universe engaged in anticompetitive practices to preserve its monopoly power and crush competitors to its search and advertising businesses. Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) supports a Senate vote on President Trump’s forthcoming Supreme Court nominee, he announced Tuesday morning.
“My decision regarding a Supreme Court nomination is not the result of a subjective test of ‘fairness’ which, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder,” Romney said in a statement. “It is based on the immutable fairness of following the law, which in this case is the Constitution and precedent.”
He echoed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in noting that the “historical precedent of election year nominations is that the Senate generally does not confirm an opposing party’s nominee but does confirm a nominee of its own.”
“The Constitution gives the president the power to nominate and the Senate the authority to provide advice and consent on Supreme Court nominees,” he continued.
“Accordingly, I intend to follow the Constitution and precedent in considering the president’s nominee. If the nominee reaches the Senate floor, I intend to vote based upon their qualifications,” he added:

Romney’s statement comes on the heels Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO), who announced Monday evening that he will vote to confirm Trump’s nominee, should he or she meet the criteria.
“I have and will continue to support judicial nominees who will protect our Constitution, not legislate from the bench, and uphold the law,” Gardner said in a statement. “Should a qualified nominee who meets this criteria be put forward, I will vote to confirm”:

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), another key Republican senator in the SCOTUS battle, has indicated that the GOP must maintain the same standard it embraced in 2016.
“I did not support taking up a nomination eight months before the 2016 election to fill the vacancy created by the passing of Justice [Antonin] Scalia,” Murkowski said in a statement. “We are now even closer to the 2020 election, less than two months out, and I believe the same standard must apply”:

Facebook announced this week that it may restrict certain aspects of its platform following November’s general election as part of a larger effort to limit social unrest. A spokesperson for Facebook suggested that executives including Sheryl Sandberg and Mark Zuckerberg may censor specific information if they believe it is likely to heighten political tensions following the election.
According to a report by the Financial Times, Facebook announced this week that it will “restrict the circulation of content” following November’s election to curb violence and social unrest. The announcement follows efforts by Facebook to address concerns from those who have alleged that the platform aids in voter suppression and promotes election-misinformation.

 Facebook Head of Global Affairs Nick Clegg said that the company is prepared to adopt a set of policies that are designed to decrease the likelihood of social unrest following November’s election.

“There are some break-glass options available to us if there really is an extremely chaotic and, worse still, violent set of circumstances,” Clegg said.

Clegg claims that Facebook has used similar protocols in other areas of the world to limit “We have acted aggressively in other parts of the world where we think that there is real civic instability and we obviously have the tools to do that [again],” Clegg said.

In Sri Lanka and Myanmar, Facebook limited the reach of posts made by users that violated the platform’s policies. In some cases, it limited post reach for users that had been found by Facebook to have repeatedly posted election-related misinformation even though they did not violate the platform’s hate speech rules.

Clegg admitted that high-ranking Facebook executives will be in charge of content censorship decisions. Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and CEO Mark Zuckerberg will have the authority to censor posts if they believe they are likely to spread misinformation.

“We’ve slightly reorganized things such that we have a fairly tight arrangement by which decisions are taken at different levels [depending on] the gravity of the controversy attached,” Clegg said.

Breitbart News reported this week that Facebook had announced that it would stop promoting health-related groups to users to curb the spread of misinformation. Facebook has recently expressed concern about those who use the platform to spread anti-vaccination content.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on Sunday night at a joint press conference with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) called on Democrats to buy time with procedural tools which she said could include impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump and Attorney General William Barr.

Earlier in the press conference, Ocasio-Cortez said, “We must also commit to using every procedural tool available to us to ensure that we buy ourselves the time necessary. We must commit to allowing and considering and utilizing every single procedural tool available to us again to buy that time.”

Activists with the far-left groups ShutDown DC and the Sunrise Movement gathered early Monday morning at Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) Washington, D.C., residence demanding that President Donald Trump and the Senate not try to fill the Supreme Court seat of the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg until after the presidential election.

The domestic terrorists in Antifa and Black Lives Matter have accomplished one thing: the most costly riots in the history of our country, reports the far-left Axios.

Property Claim Services, a company that tracks insurance claims filed due to riots and the like, found that the left-wing riots that occurred between May 26 and June 8 of this year could reach $2 billion in insurance claims.


Obviously, because the left’s domestic terrorism extended well beyond June 8 and is still ongoing, the company acknowledges “this is still happening, so the losses could be significantly more.”

Most importantly, these estimates are all being compared based on 2020 dollars. Meaning, previous riots, like the 1992 Rodney King Riots in Los Angeles, cost $775 million in 1992 dollars. That adds up to $1.42 billion today, which is still lower than the $2 billion Black Lives Matter Riots estimate — which again only covers eight or nine days of rioting that has never really stopped.

Here’s a piece of perspective that shocked even me…

If you add up the insurance cost in 2020 dollars for all six major American riots during the turbulent 1960s, the total is a little shy of $1.2 billion — which means the terrorists in Antifa and Black Lives Matter caused more mayhem and property damage in a little over a week than this country saw throughout all of the 1960s.

To the surprise of no one, Axios still uses the term “mostly peaceful” to describe what’s happening.

There’s also this helpful non sequitur: “Yes, but: These losses are small compared with those stemming from natural disasters like hurricanes and the wildfires that are consuming the U.S. West.” [emphasis original]

So even in the face of all this murder, property damage, assaults, looting, and burning, the clown show at Axios proudly marches onward.

“Mostly peaceful.”

Man alive.

Another thing to keep in mind is that these estimates are based only on insurance claims, so near the bottom of the piece, we’re told: “U.S. companies have learned the hard way that their insurance doesn’t cover business interruption related to the coronavirus, most policies emphatically do cover riot-related losses.”

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton has disputed a story in The Atlantic claiming that President Donald Trump called fallen World War I soldiers “losers.” Bolton told the New York Times Friday that “I was there” and “I didn’t hear that.”
The Atlantic‘s Jeffrey Goldberg published an article titled “Trump: Americans Who Died in War Are ‘Losers’ and ‘Suckers’.” The story also claimed that Trump skipped a 2018 visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris, where the fallen of the battle of Belleau Wood are buried, because he feared rain would ruin his hair. Goldberg’s sources were all anonymous.

The White House vigorously denied the report, and several officials who accompanied Trump on his trip to Europe in 2018 denied that the president had ever said anything like that. Public documents also support the idea that the president’s visit was canceled due to weather, not because the president worried about his hair.

Bolton, who has emerged as an adversary of the president since leaving the administration last fall, wrote in his tell-all book about Trump that the visit to the cemetery by helicopter had been canceled because of weather. Driving, Bolton wrote, was not an option because of the “unacceptable risk” of being stuck in traffic if an emergency arose. He criticized the media for falsely reporting that Trump skipped his visit because he was “afraid of the rain.”

Salon owner Erica Kious told a Zoom press conference on Thursday that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was lying to say she was “set up,” and that she should apologize to America and to small business owners and workers struggling to survive.

Pelosi was caught on surveillance camera attending Kious’s salon earlier this week for a private hair appointment indoors with a stylist, Jonathan DeNardo. San Francisco and Alameda counties are still not allowing salons to reopen indoors due to going coronavirus restrictions.

Pelosi was criticized for breaking rules her party created, and failing to lead by example.

A spokesperson for the Speaker said she did not know that she was breaking the rules, and blamed the salon for the violation.
On Wednesday, Pelosi doubled down, telling reporters she fell for a “setup” and that the salon owner should apologize to her.
The Pelosi camp energetically pushed the idea that Kious had acted out of political motives, circulating a letter from an attorney for DeNardo that accused Kious of operating her salon at other times during the shutdown, and of making “vitriolic and incendiary comments” about Pelosi. Pelosi’s daughter, Christine, posted the letter on Twitter with the hashtag “#Setup”.
On Thursday, Kious responded. She denied that there had been any setup, saying that Pelosi’s “assertion that she is a victim and was set up” was “totally false and outrageous.”

She said that she had lost six months’ of income due to the coronavirus shutdowns, but had allowed stylists to make appointments if they needed money.

Choking back tears, Kious added:
For the Speaker of the House of the United States to go on TV and falsely claim she was set up, and publicly defame me and send out PR firms to spin more lies … is bad enough, but for Speaker Pelosi to frame herself as a victim under a total false narrative while small businesses and workers all over California, the state she represents in Congress, suffer and struggle just to survive is beyond shameful.

I don’t owe anyone an apology; Mrs. Pelosi owes the entire country an apology.
Kious said that her motive in sharing the video of Pelosi’s appointment was to encourage her and other politicians to allow businesses to reopen.

The man being investigated in the shooting death of a member of the conservative group Patriot Prayer was killed Thursday night by police near Seattle, according to a report from the New York Times.

Michael Forest Reinoehl was encountered by a fugitive apprehension task force in Lacey, Washington, a city to the southwest of Seattle.
According to the New York Times, “An arrest warrant had been issued by the Portland police earlier Thursday, on the same day that Vice News published an interview with Mr. Reinoehl in which he appeared to admit to the shooting, saying, ‘I had no choice.'”

In an odd twist, President Trump had urged law enforcement to apprehend Reinoehl only moments before his fatal encounter with police.
Unnamed law enforcement confirmed Reinoehl’s death the Times.
Reinoehl was identified on social media soon after the shooting of Aaron J. Danielson, last weekend.

A Black Lives Matter protester, yelling through a megaphone, informed a group of police officers that they are “criminals” and “murderers” during Wednesday night’s protests in the nation’s capital, while another assessed that cops “need to start being killed like y’all kill us.”

“You’re childish as fuck. Just so you know, he’s not qualified to stop no crime,” a female protester said through a megaphone as she walked up and down a line of police officers following a fatal police-involved shooting of 18-year-old Deon Kay, who brandished a weapon during a pursuit that afternoon, bodycam footage of the incident shows.
“Get the fuck out of here,” she said, stating that officers do not know what constitutes a crime.
“How about a kid getting shot in the back. Is that a fucking crime? Is that a crime? Is it a crime that y’all’s budget is way too fucking high but the amount of books in our schools are way too fucking low? Isn’t that a fucking crime? she asked.
“Y’all don’t know what the fuck crime is. Crime is subjective baby,” she continued, telling the cops that they can “commit all the crimes y’all want and that shit’s ok right?”
“So fuck y’all,” she said, calling the cops murderers and accusing them of terrorizing people.
Ya’ll don’t know shit about crime. Y’all are the criminals. Y’all are the murderers. Y’all are the fucking problem so you’ve got to fucking go. Everybody. Every single mother fucking body,” she said, seemingly singling out a single police officer.

Who the fuck is that n***** protecting? Nobody. Who the fuck do you protect? Nobody,” adding that all they do is “terrorize.”
“So we do not want you in our streets. Because we pay you and you are not serving us. You are not protecting us.” she said as the crowd chanted “No justice, no peace.”
Shortly after, the protester shouted “Fuck your grandmother too” to an officer and mocked a black cop for holding up a flashlight as demonstrators harassed him.
“You’re going to lose your job baby. We’re going to defend the PD and guess what? You’re going to be one of the first motherfuckers to go,” she added. “Can’t wait.”
She later told cops that “it is not a necessity to have y’all.”
“We keep us safe. Not y’all. All y’all do is shoot kids,” she said, joining another protester in calling cops “evil.”
A male protester jumped in and stated that officers need to start being killed.
“Y’all need to start being killed like y’all kill us, and then we might get some fucking respect,” he said:

The U.S. economy added 1.37 million jobs in August and the unemployment rate fell to 8.4 percent, providing reassurance that the labor market has kept up some of its post-lockdown momentum.

Economists had forecast an addition of around 1.32 million jobs and a decline in the unemployment rate to 9.8 percent from 10.2 percent last week.

American Psychological Association Urges ‘True Systemic Change in U.S. Culture’

The American Psychological Association is calling for “true systemic change in U.S. culture” because of “institutional racism,” says a September 1 statement from the group.
The statement says:
Today’s inequities, psychologists say, are deeply rooted in our past, and the status quo is no longer acceptable. “Every institution in America is born from the blood of white supremacist ideology and capitalism—and that’s the disease,” says Theopia Jackson, PhD, president of the Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi).
Psychologists have a role as activists in their own local communities as well. They can make their voices heard by contacting their lawmakers, volunteering for a cause or candidate, speaking up on social media and more.
For example, in May, the APA’s 2020 president — Sandra Shullman — portrayed racism as a medical issue instead of a political, civic, or cultural issue:

Michelle Obama Offers Gloomy Convention Speech: ‘You Know I Hate Politics’

Former first lady Michelle Obama delivered a gloomy pre-taped speech at the Democrat National Convention on Monday, lamenting the state of the country under President Donald Trump.

“You know I hate politics. But you also know that I care about this nation,” she said during her speech endorsing former Vice President Joe Biden for president.


Obama began her speech with a serious tone, focusing on the coronavirus pandemic and the jaded feeling in the country about politics.


“Its a hard time and everyone’s feeling it different ways,” she began, acknowledging that it was “hard to tune into a political convention right now or politics in general.”


Obama also claimed that because she was a black woman, some people would automatically discount her message and her endorsement of Biden.


“Now, I understand that my message won’t be heard by some people,” she said. “We live in a nation that is deeply divided, and I am a black woman speaking at a Democratic convention.”


Obama also spoke about the pain of watching President Donald Trump winning in 2016 despite losing the popular vote, knowing that so many Democrats in key battleground states did not vote. She said:


Donald Trump is the wrong president for our country. He has had more than enough time to prove that he can do the job, but he is clearly in over his head. He cannot meet this moment. He simply cannot be who we need him to be for us. It is what it is.


Obama pointedly noted that she loved her country “with all my heart,” but she said that Americans continue to struggle with injustice, racism, and pain.


“They see people shouting in grocery stores, unwilling to wear a mask to keep us all safe. They see people calling the police on folks minding their own business just because of the color of their skin,” she said.


Obama blamed President Trump for taking what she described as a successful presidency under her husband, President Barack Obama, and making it worse.


“Four years later, the state of this nation is very different. More than 150,000 people have died, and our economy is in shambles because of a virus that this president downplayed for too long,” she said.


She accused Trump of emboldening “torch-bearing white supremacists,” throwing “kids in cages,” and pepper-spraying “peaceful protesters” for a “photo op.”


“Sadly this is the America that is on display for the next generation,” she said, noting that America was failing on “matters of character.”




 
“That is not just disappointing, it’s downright infuriating,” she continued.


The former first lady endorsed Biden, telling voters they should vote as if their lives depended on the results of the 2020 election.


“If you think things cannot possibly get worse, trust me, they can and they will if we don’t make a change in this election,” she said.

Neighbors in Kansas City, Missouri, have continued to bless a woman who donated her lottery winnings to an officer shot in the line of duty.
When Shetara Sims found a one-dollar bill in a parking lot recently, she bought a scratch-off ticket and won $100 dollars, Breitbart News reported.
Although her mom was out of work, Sims’ 12-year-old daughter, Rakiya Edmondson, said they should donate the money to a Kansas City Police (KCPD) officer recovering in the ICU after being shot on July 2.

“This woman, she’s such a treasure. She felt to help, she had had experiences with the police department before,” Sgt. Jake Becchina told Fox News on Thursday.

“She would tell you that in 2012, her daughter was murdered in Kansas City. And we investigated her case and we arrested her killer,” he continued.

When Sims called the department to donate her winnings, officers were so touched by her story, they urged her to keep the money, but she refused and said the injured policeman needed it more.

The department later set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for the struggling single mom, and the response from the community was more than it ever imagined.

“We at KCPD shared this wonderful act of humanity on our social media. Then hundreds of people said they wanted to help her out,” the site read.

As of Friday, the page had raised $115,580 of its $10,000 goal.

Becchina explained Thursday that Kansas City had an amazing sense of community spirit.

“Kansas Citians love their city, and when someone steps up to support their police department or any of their public servants, people love that. They reach out, they want to support that,” he commented.

Sims said the KCPD was there for her when her daughter was killed “in ways they didn’t have to be,” adding, “It’s an ugly time right now and they needed us so we had to be there for them.”

When asked what she wanted others to know about police officers, Sims urged Americans to see them as human beings.

“We need to individualize people. Everybody puts everybody in one lump sum. … Everybody’s different,” she concluded.

Actor Alec Baldwin is pushing a wild conspiracy theory that President Donald Trump could use armed force to stop the election in November. The Hollywood star is basing his unfounded claim on the Department of Homeland Security’s decision to deploy federal agents in Portland, Oregon, to subdue violent rioters following weeks of urban chaos.

“The ‘police’ activity in Portland, and lack of outrage over/resistance to it tells us how Trump could stop the election in November. It’s his only hope,” Alec Baldwin wrote.


Alec Baldwin more forcefully pushed his theory in a separate tweet claiming that a military intervention is “Trump’s election strategy.” The actor pointed to an Esquire article by left-wing, anti-Trump pundit Charles P. Pierce who wrote that the federal crackdown in Portland could be a “dress rehearsal” for November.

Celebrity siblings Patricia and Rosanna Arquette added to the hysteria by claiming that federal agents are the “secret police,” using “Gestapo” tactics. Their inflammatory rhetoric is similar to that of House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who referred to law enforcement as “stormtroopers.”

DHS officers moved to subdue rioters in Portland after the the head of the Department of Homeland Security visited the Oregon city and called the demonstrators “violent anarchists.”

Despite widespread claims that the protestors were “peaceful,” DHS acting secretary Chad Wolf confirmed that officers were “assaulted with lasers and frozen water bottles from violent criminals attempting to tear down federal property. 2 officers were injured.”

The department’s tactics were called into question after a video showed a suspect being taken into custody in an unmarked vehicle. DHS said that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents had information that the individual was suspected of assaulting agents or destroying property.

The agents were also facing a large mob of people and made the decision to take the suspect into the car as a precautionary measure, according to the DHS.

Some media reports also complained that agents weren’t wearing identifying clothing, but the DHS disputes this.

“The CBP agents identified themselves and were wearing CBP insignia during the encounter,” the department said in a statement. “The names of the agents were not displayed due to recent doxing incidents against law enforcement personnel who serve and protect our country.”

Portland has experienced weeks of violent protests and rioting since the death of George Floyd in May. Mayor Ted Wheeler has attempted to blame the chaos on President Trump and has refused federal agents in the city despite the spiraling violence.
