Jewish Currents magazine issued an apology on Thursday for running an advertisement for the Dorot Fellowship, a ten-month leadership training program in Israel for American Jews.

The magazine published an apology saying that the ad was accepted “without proper vetting” and that it would return the money it had been paid to run it.

“This ad is not in line with our values as an organization dedicated to reporting on and opposing Israeli human rights abuses,” the note said.”We apologize for this error, and for undermining our readers’ trust.”

Jewish Currents Editor-in-Chief Arielle Angel issued her own apology on Twitter, promising to formalize the publication’s ad guidelines.

We need to ask ourselves how "the system" -- our government -- facilitates this sort of racket without checks or oversight. Harvard University can be publicly shamed into returning COVID relief money, but a Soros group gets a pass? Why the disparity of treatment and accountability?
Those Americans would be repulsed at the idea [George Soros's East-West Management Institute] getting a PPP "loan," assuming they even knew about it -- 99.9% probably had no idea.

Think about it: a Soros-backed operation that manages a big chunk of the State Department's international development operations, pretending it is like any other American "small business," was seeking paycheck protection subsidies because of COVID. It is an insult. It is grotesque.

As reported by the Wall Street Journal on October 17, 2017, George Soros transferred $18 billion to his Open Society Foundations. EWMI is part of the greater Soros operation. Why are American taxpayers subsidizing any part of his operations?

In March, the Small Business Administration gave a $234,548 Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) "loan" to George Soros's East-West Management Institute (EWMI).
The official description of the transaction is "to aid small businesses in maintaining workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic", but federal grants and contracts to EWMI (its primary source of revenue) rose from $9,185,194 in FY 2019 to $14,859,293 in 2020. EWMI previously received a $226,179 PPP loan in May of 2020. As a supposedly small business struggling through the pandemic, EWMI enjoys office space at 575 Madison Avenue in New York City and 1101 Connecticut Ave NW in Washington, DC.

A California judge has partially ruled against Soros-backed Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón's sweeping criminal justice reform package on Monday, ruling that some of his directives violated California law and would have placed his deputy district attorneys in legal and ethical jeopardy.

Superior Court Judge James Chalfant issued his ruling in response to a lawsuit filed by Gascón's own deputy district attorneys, who alleged in their lawsuit that Gascón's policies — which prohibited them from applying sentencing enhancements that have long been considered mandatory under California law — would have required them to violate California law and their own ethical obligations. Specifically, they argued that policies are unlawful that require them to not seek certain sentencing enhancements that are mandated by California law.

With respect to cases that have already been filed, Judge Chalfant agreed, issuing a preliminary injunction preventing those policies from being implemented. Of specific importance, California law requires district attorneys who are seeking to drop sentencing enhancements to make representations to the court that certain circumstances exist, and the judge found that Gascón's policy would have effectively required these district attorneys to lie in court.


The judge also faulted Gascón's policies for failing to take into account the effect they would have on victims of crime, as required under California law. As Chalfant noted, "There is not a single reference to a concern for victims in the sentencing process" under Gascón's policies.

However, the judge declined to enjoin Gascón from implementing his policies with respect to cases brought in the future, noting that prosecutors generally have wide discretion in performing those duties. The judge was not swayed by the deputy district attorneys' arguments that California state law clearly and plainly states that prosecutors "shall" seek sentencing requirements in certain cases, claiming (in reasoning that would certainly come as a surprise to most speakers of English) that "shall" is not always considered mandatory in legislative statutes and that such language cannot constrain the discretion inherent in prosecutorial functions.

Moreover, the judge ruled, Gascón's policies should not have been a "surprise" since he explicitly ran on implementing them. It is unclear from Chalfant's decision how Gascón's victory in his local election is legally relevant to the interpretation of the plain text of California state law.

Gascón has promised to appeal the judge's decision, but also has promised to abide by the terms of the judge's injunction until that appeal has been decided.

Billionaire left-wing financier George Soros spent over $2 million of his vast fortune propping up Gascón's campaign, during which he explicitly ran on a platform of eliminating sentencing enhancements and cash bail and reducing Los Angeles' prison population.

Progressive billionaire George Soros’s philanthropic organization — Open Society Foundations — announced Monday that it will donate $220 million to groups focused on “racial justice.”
The organization plans on investigating $150 million alone into five-year grants for organizations aimed at achieving equal statistical outcomes between demographic groups in economics and criminal justice. The other $70 million is said to be going toward “more immediate efforts to advance racial justice.” Groups expected to receive funds include Black Voters Matter and Repairers of the Breach.

“It is inspiring and powerful to experience this transformational moment in the racial justice movement,” said Open Society Foundations president Patrick Gaspard. “We are honored to be able to carry on the vital work of fighting for rights, dignity, and equity for oppressed people the world over started by our founder and chair, George Soros.”


“This is the time for urgent and bold action to address racial injustice in America,” Alexander Soros, Soros’s son, said in a separate statement. “These investments will empower proven leaders in the Black community to reimagine policing, end mass incarceration, and eliminate the barriers to opportunity that have been the source of inequity for too long.”

The announcement comes after public records revealed Soros will double his 2016 election spending as part of a broader effort to help defeat President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign.

As Breitbart News reported: “Soros has poured money “into the coffers of the Democracy PAC, a super PAC that passes money to other liberal PACs working to defeat Trump and congressional Republicans… [The] PAC has received $40 million, double the $20 million it received in 2016 throughout the presidential election.”

In April, Open Society Foundations pledged $130 million to fight the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic and “[push] back against government encroachment on political freedoms.”

Billionaire George Soros has once again taken shots at Facebook, this time calling for the removal of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg. According to Soros, Zuckerberg and Sandberg are “helping Trump get re-elected.”

The Daily Mail reports that leftist billionaire George Soros has called for Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg to be removed from their positions at the company as he believes they are “helping Trump get re-elected” by refusing to fact check political ads.

In a letter to the Financial Times, Soros accused Zuckerberg and Sandberg of having a “mutual assistance agreement” with Trump that would “help him get re-elected.” Soros made similars claims in an op-ed published in the New York Times earlir this month titled “George Soros: Mark Zuckerberg Should Not Be in Control of Facebook.” Soros discussed the social media giant Facebook and stated that he doesn’t believe the company’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg — who controls 53 percent of voting shares of Facebook — should be in charge of the platform.

Soros points to the fact that in 2016 Facebook provided the Trump campaign with embedded staff to optimize the campaigns advertising programs, the Clinton campaign was also offered this opportunity but denied it. Soros also points to Zuckerberg’s meeting with President Trump in September 2019 as evidence of a close relationship between the two, Facebook’s refusal to fact-check political advertising is also singled out as proof of Trump and Zuckerberg working together. Soros writes:

In his letter to the Financial Times, Soros stated that: “Facebook does not need to wait for government regulations to stop accepting any political advertising in 2020 until after the elections on 4 November.”

He added: “I repeat my proposal, Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg should be removed from control of Facebook.” He further stated that he supports government regulation of social media platforms and thinks that Zuckerberg is “obfuscating the facts” in his arguments in order to have greater control over the internet.

For at least the second significant time, an organization financed by billionaire activist George Soros released material playing a central role in directly fueling the impeachment narrative targeting President Trump.

The news media and Democrats are seizing on emails released to the Soros-funded Center for Public Integrity on Friday showing the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requested the Pentagon withhold military aid to Ukraine the same day as Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The OMB immediately pushed back explaining the aid hold was actually announced seven days prior to Trump’s July 25 phone call and that the Center for Public Integrity was harping on one line within 146 pages of documents that the organization obtained to paint an inaccurate and misleading picture of the timing of the aid hold.

The OMB strongly denied that the email, one of many, had anything to do with Trump’s phone call, explaining the communication was part of an ongoing process put into place one week early.

The email being hyped by the media shows an official with the White House’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Mike Duffey, contacted Pentagon officials 91 minutes after Trump’s call with Zelensky to discuss withholding aid.

“Based on guidance I have received and in light of the Administration’s plan to review assistance to Ukraine, including the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, please hold off on any additional DoD obligations of these funds, pending direction from that process,” Duffey wrote, according to the documents.

Rachel Semmel, a spokeswoman for OMB, told reporters it was “reckless to tie the hold of funds to the phone call.”

“As has been established and publicly reported, the hold was announced in an interagency meeting on July 18,” she said. “To pull a line out of one email and fail to address the context is misleading and inaccurate.”

A senior administration official further said the email was part of a discussion already going on for one week between OMB and the Pentagon about withholding aid.

The documents were obtained on Friday by the Center for Public Integrity (CPI) as part of a Freedom of Information Act request to the OMB and the Department of Defense.

CPI bills itself as a nonprofit journalism organization seeking to “protect democracy and inspire change using investigative reporting that exposes betrayals of the public trust by powerful interests.” https://publicintegrity.org/about/

CPI has been openly funded by Soros’s Open Society, which formally listed CPI as a media “partner.”

CPI is also funded by the Soros-financed Tides Foundation. CPI previously ran iWatchNews, which it described as “the Center’s online publication dedicated to investigative and accountability reporting.”  That project was sponsored by Soros’s Open Society as well as the Soros-funded Sunlight Foundation.

Soros, Ukraine and so-called whistleblower 

CPI is the second Soros-funded purported journalism outfit to play a key role in fueling the impeachment narrative.

Breitbart News previously reported another self-described investigative journalism organization funded by Soros’s Open Society Foundations was repeatedly referenced as a source of information in the so-called whistleblower’s official complaint alleging Trump was “using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country” in the 2020 presidential race.

Indeed, the complaint relied upon information first reported by the Soros-funded group.

Also Breitbart News reported that Eric Ciaramella, whom Real Clear Investigations suggests is the likely so-called whistleblower, received emails about Ukraine policy from a top director at Soros’s Open Society Foundations.

The emails informed Ciaramella and a handful of other Obama administration foreign policy officials about Soros’s whereabouts, the contents of Soros’s private meetings about Ukraine and a future meeting the billionaire activist was holding with the prime minister of Ukraine.

The charges in the July 22 report referenced in the so-called whistleblower’s document and released by the Google and Soros-funded organization, the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), seem to be the public precursors for a lot of the so-called whistleblower’s own claims, as Breitbart News documented.

OCCRP did work with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, a program of the Center for Public Integrity in Washington, DC.

One key section of the so-called whistleblower’s document claims that “multiple U.S. officials told me that Mr. Giuliani had reportedly privately reached out to a variety of other Zelensky advisers, including Chief of Staff Andriy Bohdan and Acting Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov.”

This was allegedly to follow up on Trump’s call with Zelensky in order to discuss the “cases” mentioned in that call, according to the so-called whistleblower’s narrative. The complainer was clearly referencing Trump’s request for Ukraine to investigate the Biden corruption allegations.

Even though the statement was written in first person – “multiple U.S. officials told me” – it contains a footnote referencing a report by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP).

That footnote reads:

In a report published by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) on 22 July, two associates of Mr. Giuliani reportedly traveled to Kyiv in May 2019 and met with Mr. Bakanov and another close Zelensky adviser, Mr. Serhiy Shefir.

The so-called whistleblower’s account goes on to rely upon that same OCCRP report on three more occasions. It does so to:

Write that Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko “also stated that he wished to communicate directly with Attorney General Barr on these matters.”
Document that Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani “had spoken in late 2018 to former Prosecutor General Shokin, in a Skype call arranged by two associates of Mr. Giuliani.”
Bolster the charge that, “I also learned from a U.S. official that ‘associates’ of Mr. Giuliani were trying to make contact with the incoming Zelenskyy team.” The so-called whistleblower then relates in another footnote, “I do not know whether these associates of Mr. Giuliani were the same individuals named in the 22 July report by OCCRP, referenced above.”
The OCCRP report repeatedly referenced is actually a “joint investigation by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) and BuzzFeed News, based on interviews and court and business records in the United States and Ukraine.”

BuzzFeed infamously also first published the full anti-Trump dossier alleging unsubstantiated collusion between Trump’s presidential campaign and Russia. The dossier was paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee, and was produced by the Fusion GPS opposition dirt outfit.

The OCCRP and BuzzFeed “joint investigation” resulted in both OCCRP and BuzzFeed publishing similar lengthy pieces on July 22 claiming that Giuliani was attempting to use connections to have Ukraine investigate Trump’s political rivals.

The so-called whistleblower’s document, however, only mentions the largely unknown OCCRP and does not reference BuzzFeed, which has faced scrutiny over its reporting on the Russia collusion claims.

Meanwhile, despite the known timeline that the Trump administration’s decision to withhold Ukraine aid was taken on July 18, Senator Chuck Schumer already claimed the “explosive” email released by CPI underscored the need to call new witnesses with alleged impeachment evidence.

“If there was ever an argument that we need Mr Duffey to come and testify, this is that information. This email is explosive,” Schumer said.

“A top administration official, one that we requested, is saying, stop the aid 90 minutes after Trump called Zelensky and said keep it hush, hush. What more do you need to request a witness?” Schumer asked.

A Proof has recently appeared that cash attached to Hillary Clinton and George Soros was utilized to pay ladies to make-up false claims that President Trump sexually attacked them, as per a report in the New York Times.

Writing for TheHill, analytical columnist John Solomon, uncovers that payouts were made by lawyer Lisa Bloom to ladies who were willing to lie and act in public that they were sexually attacked by now President Donald Trump. The cash was attractive, so they decided to do it.

As indicated by the report, one of the accusers had the mortgage on her home paid off, while the other was offered cash amount of $750,000.

The names of two of were uncovered by the NY Times and both are attached to the evilness. Guess who? George Soros and Hillary Clinton.

Right after that, it was uncovered that Soros invested an astounding $3 million into the New York Times by taking up a lot of the organization’s stocks.

Could this action be a method for controlling the publication’s account on such stories on in the near future? Well of course!

The New York Times named David Brock, a George Soros partner in crime, and Clinton’s long-term companion Susie Tompkins Buell, who controlled countless dollars in order to fight Trump’s campaign before the presidential election.
David Brock not just has connections to Hillary Clinton and George Soros, he is the Resistance, not exclusively to Trump however to Fox News also.

That’s the story of our country folks… Soros and the Democratic Party spending millions of dollars to oppose Trump and the good of our nation. Why they are doing this? It’s more than obvious! Britain’s Conservative Party government has launched an urgent investigation into liberal billionaire George Soros, over claims the globalist financier funneled millions into a campaign to block Brexit and take down British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Soros, known globally as “the man who broke the Bank of England,” is facing a probe into almost £3 million ($3.85m) that his foundation pumped into an anti-Brexit campaign aimed at bringing down PM Johnson.

The Conservatives have called for an urgent Electoral Commission probe into George Soros’s American organization Open Society Foundation (OSF).The move follows a report by The Mail on Sunday that uncovered a paper trail revealing that OSF funneled vast sums of money into a campaign seeking to block Brexit at the ballot box.

Soros’ New York-based foundation sent the money to the pro-EU group Best for Britain (BfB)

The funding was sent to the group via a London outpost, circumventing a ban on foreign donations to political organizations.

Best for Britain (BfB) has designed a website telling people how to vote tactically for Remain-backing candidates, which, if successful, would wipe out Mr. Johnson’s hopes of a majority, according to the Mail.

The development comes after Liberal Democrats, the Green Party and Plaid Cymru formed a “Unite To Remain” pact not to stand against each other in 60 seats, to give the best chance of a Remain candidate getting in.

BfB describes itself as a “fellow traveler” with the alliance, which is expected to utilize its data.

Hungarian-born Mr. Soros helped to build his fortune by betting against the British pound sterling on Black Wednesday in 1992, causing panic in John Major’s Government and earning him his notoriety.

Globalist Soros says that his love for Britain led him to campaign against the “tragic mistake” of leaving the European Union.

He said recently that the funds he has given for anti-Brexit activity were “not used for partisan or electoral purposes. They were used to educate the British public.”

Since 2017, BfB has received £2.7 million ($3.47m) from Soros’ foundation.The sums have been revealed in the accounts of the foundation’s London branch, which shares an office building in Westminster with other anti-Brexit organizations, including Open Britain and the European Movement.

Both of these groups have played a critical role in the People’s Vote campaign for a second referendum.

Facebook looks set to be a key battleground in the Election, and BfB has invested heavily in advertising on the platform, spending a total of £613,000 since October 2018.

In the past 30 days alone, BfB has spent £137,000 ($176k) on 165 different sponsored adverts.

Nearly one in four voters say they intend to vote tactically this Election – equivalent to almost 7.8 million votes, many in key marginals.

BfB’s tactical voting tool, GetVoting.org, predicts that if 30 percent of pro-Remain voters use their vote in this way, it will prevent the Conservatives winning a majority, based on seat-by-seat analysis of 46,000 people across the UK.

Unite To Remain, headed by Heidi Allen, the former Tory MP turned Liberal Democrat, claims that at least 44 of the 60 seats are “highly winnable” if tactical voting is used.

In the December 12 election, the Lib Dems will stand unopposed by the other two parties in the pact in 43 areas, the Greens in ten and Plaid Cymru in seven.

Ms. Allen said the cross-party arrangement was “unprecedented in modern British political history.

“Last night, Andrew Percy, who is standing for re-election for the Tories in Brigg and Goole, said: “I am calling on the Electoral Commission to urgently investigate whether a breach of spending rules has taken place and to clarify how Best for Britain is spending these overseas millions.

“The rules are clear: foreign donations on this scale cannot be spent on an election campaign.

The New York Post named the suspected “whistleblower” — Eric Ciaramella — in a column published by the newspaper’s editorial board and called for the partisan CIA analyst to answer questions about his knowledge regarding allegations of corruptions against former Vice President Joe Biden, and his son, Hunter Biden.
In the Thursday op-ed entitled “Here’s the likely whistleblower — and the questions he should answer,” the Post credits journalist Paul Sperry for positing that Ciaramella is the likely “whistleblower” who, relying on second-hand information, accused President Donald Trump of attempting to pressure the leader of Ukraine to probe the Biden family in exchange for U.S. military aid. Video footage of a teenage boy being brutally attacked by students on a school bus in Hamilton County, Florida, in November surfaced on social media on Thursday. The boy’s mother, who posted the video, claims that her 14-year-old son was hospitalized after he was assaulted by multiple students for wearing a hat supporting Donald Trump to school.

“I am sitting in the hospital with my 14 year old kid because he was just jumped by 8 black kids on the school bus, I guess that’s what happens when a kid wears a #Trump hat to school,” explained the boy’s mother on November 21. “And who’s the violent ones again? Both Facebook and Google have dropped off Glassdoor’s Top Ten “best places to work” list. Facebook, which has been ranked number one three times in the last ten years, dropped to number 23. Apple dropped from its former top-25 ranking to number 84.
Bloomberg reports that major Silicon Valley tech firms such as Facebook and Google which were once considered highly desirable workplaces have dropped off Glassdoor’s Top 10 “best place to work” list. It appears that the Big Tech Masters of the Universe, which were once attractive to younger workers due to a number of perks and employee benefits, are no longer considered fun places to work.  Glassdoor released its annual rankings of the top ten “best places to work” in the U.S. on Tuesday. Topping the list was cloud-computing software firm HubSpot, DocuSign came in third and Ultimate Software was eighth on the list. Facebook has previously been rated as the “best place to work” three times in the past ten years, but this year was ranked 23rd on the list, the lowest position for the firm since it made the list ion 2011 as the top-rated workplace.

The Conservative Party is investigating three parliamentary candidates over allegations of antisemitism.
 
Labour has called for the trio to be suspended and said Boris Johnson must “answer for the antisemitism being promoted in his name”.
 
Sally-Ann Hart, who is standing as a Tory candidate in Amber Rudd’s former Hastings and Rye seat, shared a video in 2017 which implied Jewish philanthropist George Soros controls the EU.

St Helens South and Whiston candidate Richard Short questioned in a tweet in 2013 whether journalist Melanie Phillips’s allegiance was to the UK or Israel.
 
And Lee Anderson, who is running in Ashfield and Eastwood, is said to be an active member of a Facebook group where Soros conspiracies are promoted.
 
A Conservative Party spokeswoman said: “These matters are being investigated.
 
“Discrimination or abuse of any kind is wrong, and the Conservative Party takes decisive action to deal with any incidents of hatred, abuse or intimidation.
 
“We are committed to stamping out the scourge of antisemitism in our society and supporting our Jewish community.
 
“Our complaints process is rightly a confidential one but there are a wide range of sanctions to challenge and change behaviour, including conditions to undertake training, periods of suspension and expulsion, and these are applied on a case-by-case basis.”
 
Andrew Gwynne, Labour’s national campaign co-ordinator, said: “Johnson must answer for the antisemitism being promoted in his name.
 
“One Conservative candidate ‘liked’ a Nazi slogan, another candidate promotes a group named after Johnson which peddles antisemitic Soros conspiracies, and a third candidate accused British Jews of being more loyal to Israel than to the UK, a classic antisemitic trope.
 
“Boris Johnson said members who make racist comments are ‘out first bounce’. So why is he refusing to suspend these three candidates, none of whom appear to have apologised?
 
“Johnson has never called out and condemned antisemitic Soros narratives among his supporters.
 
“On the contrary, the Conservatives whipped their MEPs to vote in support of the Hungarian government which peddles the Soros conspiracy and appointed a senior government adviser who promotes this narrative.
“Antisemitism is clearly rife in the Conservative Party from top to bottom.”

Liberal billionaire George Soros is meeting behind closed doors with top Democrats to plot a resistance strategy against President-elect Donald Trump and Republicans.

The three-day conference began Sunday at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Washington, D.C., and is sponsored by deep-pocketed liberal members of the dark money Democracy Alliance donor network, Politico‘s Ken Vogel first reported. The group will seek to pick up the pieces from the 2016 election, plot its strategy for upcoming elections, and map out a game plan to battle Trump during his first 100 days in office.

"The first 100 days of a new presidency has become an important measure of the early success of a new administration," the group's agenda reads. "It's a period typically seen as a time when monumental change can occur as the president, armed with the good will and political capital that comes with being the new president, is able to marshal new legislation through Congress."

The agenda, which was drafted before the election, was geared toward a Hillary Clinton presidency. However, following Trump's victory, the group shifted gears to figure out what happened in the election and ways of "combating the massive threats from Trump and Congress in 2017."

The group will hold sessions mapping out intervention during upcoming elections at the national and state levels beginning in early 2017, with a goal of shifting "the terms of debate" and building "electoral capacity [and] candidate pipelines for 2018 and 2020." Top Democrats such as Rep. Nancy Pelosi (Calif.), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), and Rep. Keith Ellison (Minn.) will make appearances at the conference.


"The 2016 election has upended much of what we thought we knew about American politics," the agenda states. "It has shown a roiling discontent with the political establishment, and there is ferment in the air. Forces of reaction, caution, and progress will joust for power in the coming period."

Panels are scheduled about combating climate change, using technological resources to cultivate citizen engagement, engaging millennials, ways to move a progressive policy agenda in 2017, LGBT equality, and strategy to win back the white working class vote in the future.

The group will also seek ways to form deeper and stronger alliances to advance a progressive agenda.

"Over the past several months, many events, including the summer's tragic shooting in Orlando, have highlighted the myriad and complex ways that social identities and systems of oppression interact with one another. In order to advance our vision of a progressive America, we must understand the multidimensional nature of structural inequality and develop new ways of combating it."

The Democracy Alliance donor network was created in 2005 and is the largest network of donors "dedicated to building the progressive movement in the United States." The group is heavily involved in progressive policymaking, funding causes to push a liberal agenda, and organizing grassroots activities.

George Soros' foundation did not immediately return a request for comment on the gathering.

Soros-funded open borders group calls Trump impeachment ‘the right thing to do’

United We Dream, an open borders lobbying group partially funded by leftist billionaire George Soros, celebrated the Democrat impeachment effort against President Donald Trump.

On Tuesday, the group posted on Twitter that impeachment was “the right thing to do” and said they are “with the millions of people telling the truth about Trump and the Members of Congress who have said enough is enough!”

Breitbart News reported that United We Dream is partially funded by George Soros’s Open Society Foundation and works with the ACLU (also Soros-funded) to achieve its goals of promoting an end to national borders and amnesty for all illegal aliens.

New impeachment support
United We Dream’s support for impeachment is a recent development. In May 2017, legal director David Cole was much more circumspect about support for impeaching the president.

“While the allegations of obstruction of justice and collusion with the Russians to affect the electoral process could, if proved true, constitute grounds for impeachment, we believe, guided by our commitments to the rule of law and the presumption of innocence, that the facts as we know them to this point warrant investigation, but not impeachment,” Cole wrote, according to Breitbart.
 
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced on Tuesday that she was throwing her support behind an impeachment inquiry that was already going on in some House committees. A vote to begin impeachment proceedings in the House has not yet occurred.

The push for impeachment comes after a whistleblower alleged that Trump may have pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden for withholding aid to Ukraine until a prosecutor investigating an energy company for whom Biden’s son worked was fired.

There’s no there, there
To counter talk of pressure and quid pro quo, Trump released the transcript of his phone call with Zelensky and a redacted version of the whistleblower complaint later in the week. Although he mentions Biden on the call, there is no apparent pressure to investigate him, nor is there any offer of a quid pro quo.

A Ukrainian official says that Ukraine didn’t even know that Trump was withholding aid to Ukraine at the time of the phone call on July 25, therefore no quid pro quo would have even been possible.

Of course, Democrats and left-leaning political groups want to see Trump impeached. They want it so badly that they are willing to support it regardless of the evidence.

I don’t think groups like United We Dream are looking at the big picture, however, in supporting impeachment. When the effort falls apart, as it is bound to do without any facts or evidence, supporters will face a backlash that they will never see coming.

Count on it.

Suspicious packages addressed to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were intercepted by the U.S. Secret Service on Wednesday, as a CNN bureau and a congresswoman’s office were evacuated following separate threats.

Two days before all that, an explosive device was safely detonated after it had been delivered to the Westchester County, N.Y., home of investing and philanthropy giant George Soros.

Soros’s son, Alexander Soros, was moved to write an op-ed for the New York Times in which he decried the climate of “political demonization” and pointed his finger for “the hate that is consuming us” directly at President Trump:

‘Something changed in 2016. Before that, the vitriol [George Soros] faced was largely confined to the extremist fringes, among white supremacists and nationalists who sought to undermine the very foundations of democracy. But with Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, things got worse. A genie was let out of the bottle, which may take generations to put back in.’
To be sure, Alexander Soros, who serves as deputy chairman of his father’s Open Society Foundation, didn’t blame Trump for the packages, saying fault lies with the individuals responsible for sending them.

Nevertheless, he wrote, “I cannot see it divorced from the new normal of political demonization that plagues us today.”

Soros recognizes, he added, that his family is not alone in feeling such vitriol.

“There are too many people in the United States and around the world who have felt the force of this malign spirit,” he wrote. “It is now all too ‘normal’ that people who speak their minds are routinely subjected to personal hostility, hateful messages on social media and death threats.”

How does one go about fixing the toxic culture?

“A first step would be to cast our ballots to reject those politicians cynically responsible for undermining the institutions of our democracy,” Soros wrote in the op-ed. “And we must do it now, before it is too late.”

George Soros has donated $5.1 million to a new super PAC ahead of the 2020 presidential election — over twice as much as he had spent at this point in the campaign leading up to the 2016 election, Politico reported Wednesday.

The Hungarian-born Jewish billionaire’s Democracy PAC is his first involvement in the 2020 election cycle.

Secret internal reports and memos by one of George Soros’s left-wing front groups reveals the socialist billionaire’s subversive reach within the Obama administration, the United Nations, and the governing structures European Union, especially as it relates to the manufactured refugee/migration crisis.

Among the many noteworthy points made by Soros activists in one report is the assertion that the migrant/refugee tsunami that has already swamped Europe with 1-2 million Muslim migrants should be accepted as “the new normal.” This is not surprising, but it is alarming. It is not surprising because for many years Soros and his minions have been in the vanguard of the Open Borders/Migration Lobby. It is alarming because the radical “migration rights” agenda of the Soros network is being translated into official policy, nationally and globally.

A May 12, 2016 report of the International Migration Institute (IMI), an official project of Soros’s Open Society Foundations (OSF), provides an important window to view the working relationships among the IMI refugee activists and their allies inside the Obama administration and the United Nations. The nine-page report, by top IMI staffers Anna Crowley and Kate Rosin, entitled “Migration Governance and Enforcement Portfolio Review,” is one of many Soros/OSF documents released this week by DCLeaks.com, which describes itself as a project “launched by the American hacktivists” who “believe U.S. citizens have the right to know how domestic and foreign policies of the United States are shaped and who the real policy maker is.”
 
Quite clearly, when it comes to migrant/refugee policy, Soros and his fellow globalists are the real policy makers. Soros staffers Crowley and Rosin call for “accepting the current crisis as the new normal and moving beyond the need to react.”

Their report also provides revealing details on the Soros/IMI/OSF relationship to Goldman Sachs titan Peter Sutherland, the UN’s top globalist agent in charge of designing and implementing the UN’s chaos-producing migration programs.

“The Columbia Global Policy Initiative (CGPI), which hosts the secretariat for Peter Sutherland, the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative on International Migration, has been able to take advantage of momentum created by the current crisis to shape conversations about rethinking migration governance,” write Crowley and Rosin in the leaked report. The Soros staffers continue, noting the key role played by their IMI “think tank”: “IMI provided project support for the drafting of The Sutherland Report, which aims to set the stage for institutional reforms to global migration governance, and to break new ground on protections for migrants outside the asylum system.”

The Soros/IMI report continues: 

When we made the CGPI grant, even we were somewhat skeptical about the appetite for reform of the institutions that govern elements of migration at the international level, and the pace at which it might proceed. Nonetheless, we recognized the importance of starting this discussion, and the political capital Sutherland could leverage to bring high-level attention to the issue. This gamble has arguably paid off: as the September UN and President Obama’s summits on migrants and refugees have taken shape, Sutherland’s team has effectively drawn on work and thinking it had already done to influence the scope and deliverables of these two meetings. 

How effective has the Soros-Sutherland tag team been? Crowley and Rosin say: 

IMI’s access to the Sutherland team’s discussions has allowed us to keep civil society partners up-to-date on the latest developments, in order to inform advocacy and campaigning strategies prior to the events and to plan follow up actions. 

CGPI’s elite-level behind the scenes advocacy through Peter Sutherland, has positioned its team of experts to influence policy and practical follow-up to global events. This has been complemented by MPI’s [Migration Policy Institute’s] neutral voice and ability to generate the policy-relevant research and evidence base needed to shape migration debates. This pairing has worked well and there is a natural collaboration between the experts that both centers engage. 

First, a few important notes about the above-mentioned Peter Sutherland. While not a household name, he is very well known in the corridors of power, and he is having an impact on almost every household on the planet. As we reported here last October (Insider Peter Sutherland: EU-U.S. Must Take More Refugees, Get Rid of Sovereignty), Peter Sutherland is an insider’s insider; he epitomizes the uber-rich, globalist-corporatist elite. Here is a partial listing of his internationalist credentials: 

• Until this past June, Sutherland was chairman of Goldman Sachs International, the global banking behemoth known to critics as the “vampire squid” for its predatory, corrupt practices;

• he is a regular attendee and former Steering Committee member of the ultra-secretive, ultra-elite Bilderberg Group;

• he was European chairman of the Trilateral Commission;

• he is past chairman of British Petroleum (BP);

• he is honorary president of the Transatlantic Policy Network (TPN), one of the principal corporatist insider organizations promoting EU-U.S. merger through the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP);

• as a principal architect of the WTO, he has been hailed as “the father of globalization”; and

• as a top Eurocrat, he played a lead role in destroying national sovereignty by replacing national currencies (and national monetary control) with the euro, as well as engineering the “borderless Europe,” which the current migrant crisis is now proving to have been so destructive. 

In addition, Sutherland and Soros both sit on the Advisory Board of the Global Policy Institute (GPI), a leading think tank promoting world government under the guise of “global governance.” Sutherland forecast much of his current UN refugee agenda in an essay for the GPI journal, Global Policy, in February 2010, entitled, “The Age of Mobility: Can we make migration work for all?”

It is worth noting that the Columbia Global Policy Initiative (CGPI), which the Soros report mentions funding and collaborating with, refers to the organization established at Columbia University that has become a leading force for the radical migration agenda. The CGPI is run by Professor Michael Doyle, who, naturally, is a member of the world-government promoting Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Other prominent CFR members on the CGPI directory include Jeffrey Sachs, Joseph Stiglitz, Carol Gluck, and Lee Bollinger.

Media Matters for America, the left-wing group that is trying to get Tucker Carlson fired, has a history of receiving financial backing from progressive billionaire George Soros.

Carlson slammed the “Soros-funded” organization on his show this week after Media Matters published audio clips from over a decade ago in which Carlson made offensive comments about women, Iraqis, and other groups, leading to a boycott campaign against the pundit that has cost him several advertisers.

Soros-funded group on the attack
After the media watchdog group published old tapes of Carlson making comments that some called racist and sexist, the Fox pundit blasted the “Soros-funded” group in a monologue Tuesday night.

“Media Matters is a George Soros-funded lobbying organization, whose sole mission is to punish critics of the Democratic party,” Carlson said.
Media Matters president Angelo Carusone, who has himself come under scrutiny for past bigoted comments, responded with a claim of his own: “Carlson claimed George Soros funds us. That is actually not true. Just typical Soros conspiracy talk from Fox. We are a modest nonprofit and rely on donations from many many people.”

But as it turns out, the group has received backing from Soros in the past to perform the exact kind of “work” Carusone and his cronies do. In 2010, Soros donated $1 million to Media Matters to help the group hold Fox News “accountable.”
“Media Matters is one of the few groups that attempts to hold Fox News accountable for the false and misleading information they so often broadcast,” Soros said at the time. “I am supporting Media Matters in an effort to more widely publicize the challenge Fox News poses to civil and informed discourse in our democracy.”

Both Soros and Media Matters have long denied having any connection outside his 2010 donation, but Soros donated five times to the group between 2010 and 2014. Media Matters has also received funding from groups that receive or have received funding from Soros, including the Tides Foundation, MoveOn.Org, Democracy Alliance, and the Center for American Progress, which played a role in the founding of Media Matters in 2004.
Grudge against Fox, Carlson
Soros has long been accused of funding Media Matters partly because the organization engages in the kind of “grassroots” (billionaire funded), “spontaneous” (coordinated) activism associated with the various left-wing groups that Soros supports.

The group has waged an almost personal war against Fox over the years, targeting pundits like Bill O’Reilly, Laura Ingraham, and Glenn Beck with pressure campaigns. Media Matters founder and Clinton ally David Brock has a grudge against the network described in his book, The Fox Effect: How Roger Ailes Turned a Network into a Propaganda Machine. In 2004, he published The Republican Noise Machine: Right-Wing Media and How It Corrupts Democracy before launching Media Matters.


Indeed, Media Matters’ current campaign against Carlson might be a bit more personal. A series of exposés written by Carlson at the Daily Caller in 2012 detailed the organization’s methods, which involved keeping a list of targets and even hiring private investigators to dig into the private lives of Fox hosts.

Carlson’s reports highlighted the intimate relationship that Media Matters shares with the Democratic party. The group reportedly held weekly strategy calls with the Obama White House, making it a virtual extension of the Democratic Party’s media arm, despite its tax-exempt status. Carlson attacked the organization’s “illegal” political activity on his show Tuesday night.

“In its original tax application to the IRS, Media Matters claimed that the American news media were dominated by a pro-Christian bias that needed them to balance it. Despite the obvious absurdity of that claim, the group received non-profit status,” he said. “It has been violating the terms of that status flagrantly ever since. For example, during the Obama administration, Media Matters held weekly strategy discussions with the White House about how to hurt its political enemies.

“This is a violation of federal tax law,” Carlson added. “Tax-exempt nonprofits cannot function as an arm of a political party. Media Matters clearly does.”

After the taxpayer-funded Radio Marti covered Soros in a negative manner, a total of eight reporters and editors were fired from the station at the request of one high-profile Democrat.

Government Censorship
Radio Marti, a Spanish-speaking radio station that broadcasts to Cuba, apparently had some rather unflattering things to say about billionaire George Soros. And one Dem in Congress wasn’t happy about it.

An investigation was reportedly launched at the behest of Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ), who called for a probe “on patterns of unethical and unprofessional reporting” by the reporters.

Menendez’s request specifically cited reports from government watchdog group Judicial Watch, which Menendez considers to be “fringe source” — even though the publication has been cited by virtually every major news outlet in this country.

When the investigation was concluded, those involved in the story were terminated.

According to a Judicial Watch report, “people write with fear” now at Radio Marti.

Catching Hypocrites
This is all especially remarkable coming from Menendez, who is not even a year removed from a major corruption case that for some reason was dismissed.

Going back to 2007, Menendez was accused of sending lobbying business to a former colleague.

In a case dismissed last year, Menendez was accused of accepting bribes from someone the legislator characterized as a close friend.
Menendez has also been accused of using prostitutes.

But really, any Democrat demanding an investigation into negative reporting right now has a lot of gall.
Dems have not once come out to say that any of the reporters who spread fake news about President Donald Trump should be investigated. What gives?

Soros linked to Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal

It’s really no surprise to find out that George Soros has been linked to the funding behind Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal. 

The Green New Deal
The Green New Deal proposal introduced by Ocasio-Cortez is a radical first step in turning the United States into a socialist economy.

The ambitious plan hopes to make the U.S. 100% reliant on “clean energy” within ten years — and that’s without nuclear power.

As if that wasn’t enough, the deal also promises to practically eliminate poverty by offering guaranteed federal jobs and universal health insurance. And that’s just the start.

11 Democrat senators, including 2020 presidential candidates Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and Cory Booker, and 84 House Democrats have embraced the deal, at least on paper.

The Soros Ties
According to a report in The New Yorker, the proposal was written by Ocasio-Cortez’s office and activist groups The Sunrise Movement, Justice Democrats, and New Consensus.

Among the co-sponsors who helped promote the Deal were 350.org, Organic Consumers Association, CPD Action, Justice Democrats, and People’s Action, Breitbart reported.

Now, go back to the incident at the elevator involving Sen. Jeff Flake and a protestor during the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings.

One of the women in that confrontation was identified as Ana Maria Archila.

Archila is the leader of CPD Action, which is the beneficiary of significant funding by George Soros.

And, if you watched President Trump’s SOTU address, Archila was in the audience as a guest of Ocasio-Cortez. Furthermore, CPD had been tied to the organization of a significant number of smaller progressive groups protesting Trump and the administration’s policies.

To make things even more interesting, Soros has been tied to funding received by People’s Action and 350.org, which would make him a major contributor to at least three groups involved in promoting the Green New Deal.
