NEWS UPDATE
Rockets were fired at central Israel and Ashdod this morning. There were reports of a direct hit in Gavatayim, near Tel Aviv. Two people were injured by shrapnel in Tel Aviv.
Israel forces are engaged in combat near and around Shifa hospital in Gaza City, believed to be the Hamas command center for northern Gaza. Tanks and infantry are also advancing towards other hospital in the area. The IDF said that it killed many members of the Hamas Nukhba force who participated in the Oct. 7 massacre, including 2 commanders. Forces also destroyed rockets and launchers located near apartment buildings.
Troops are discovering tunnel openings in residential homes, playgrounds, schools an other civilian environments. To read more about this, click here.
Staff Sergeant Gilad Rozenblit, 21, from Kibbutz Ginergar, a 401st Brigade combat medic, was killed in action.
Staff sergeant Yehonatan Yitzchak Samo, 21, a fighter in the paratroopers 202nd battalion, from Karmei Zur, was killed in action.
Terrorists fired anti-tank missiles at Israel from Lebanon. The IDF struck Hezbollah targets.
A drone launched from Syria hit a school in Eilat yesterday, causing material damage but no injuries. The IDF struck the group in Syria responsible. The Houthis in Yemen continue to launch ballistic rockets at southern Israel, but they have all been intercepted thus far.
Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas said today that the PA is ready to assume responsibilities in Gaza as part of a comprehensive political solution.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said that, after the war, Israel will maintain full security control over Gaza and make sure it remains demilitarized.
Mossad Chief David Barnea and CIA Chief William Burns met Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim Al Thani on Thursday to discuss terms for a release of hostages abducted by Hamas, in return for a pause in the war in Gaza. Israel has agreed to daily 4 hour pauses for humanitarian purposes, but not to a cease fire.

IDF troops continue to eliminate terrorists in Gaza. An airstrike killed Mohsen Abu Zina, Hamas' Head of Weapons and Industries in its manufacturing department. Air force, artillery and naval forces a striking Gaza City.
Sergeant first class Jonathan Chazor, 22, a fighter in Shaldag, from Katzir and St.-Sgt. (res.) Yaacov Ozeri, a fighter in the 52nd company, 401 Battalion in the Armoured Corps from Kfar Shamai, were killed in the fighting. 32 soldiers have been killed since the start of the ground offensive.
Thousands of civilians have been evacuated from northern Gaza to the south under the auspices of the IDF over the last few days.
During operations in northern Gaza, troops uncovered a terror tunnel next to an amusement park and another next to a university.
Shooting from Lebanon continues in the north. The IDF is responding.
The Biden administration is pressuring Israel for a pause in the fighting. Israel is rejecting that notion. [Is anyone pressuring Hamas to stop fighting and to release the hostages? There will be no pause until the hostages are released.]
Last night a massive rocket barrage hit the Tel Aviv area. A rocket hit a house in Savyon, causing major damage but no injuries.

The IDF is operating deep within Gaza City. Forces captured two members of Hamas' Nukhba force, who were involved in the October 7th massacre. Hamas tunnels are being discovered and destroyed. In one incident, troops discovered 50 rockets and launchers in the youth hall of a mosque.
Civilians have been evacuating to the south via designated humanitarian corridors opened by the IDF. Rockets continue to be fired from Gaza at Israeli communities.
In an interview with US media, Prime Minister Netanyahu said Israel will have to govern Gaza for "an indefinite period" after the war with Hamas is finished.
In the north, terrorists continue to fire at troops. The IDF is responding with artillery fire and air strikes at terrorist positions in Lebanon.
The IDF is working on dismantling explosive devices planted under roads and civilian infrastructure throughout Palestinian cities in the West Bank. Last night, security forces raided Tulkarm and killed 4 terrorists who were reportedly on their way to carry out an attack.
The Commander of the German Air Force, Lieutenant General Ingo Gerhartz, arrived at Israel's Sheba Medical Center with his staff to donate blood, in a strong show of support for Israel.
Today marks the end of the 30 day mourning period following the Oct. 7th massacre. Ceremonies were held throughout the country and the Jewish world.
[Hamas has the ability to end the war and suffering in Gaza immediately -- by laying down their arms and returning the 240 hostages. The only other way is for the IDF to completely destroy Hamas. The world needs to force them to make the right decision.]

Over the last day, IDF fighter jets and navy ships struck over 450 Hamas targets, including tunnels, terrorists, military compounds, observation posts, anti-tank missile launch posts and more. Ground forces have completely surrounded Gaza City and have been striking inside the city. Many terrorists and Hamas commanders have been killed. Soldiers from the Golani brigade killed 30 terrorists in the last few hours.
The IDF released new evidence and video yesterday, confirming that Hamas is using Gaza hospitals as military centers and launching rockets and attacks from hospitals and the surrounding areas. For more, click here.
The parents of 8-year-old Emily Hand from Kibbutz Be'eri were informed by the IDF yesterday that their daughter was taken hostage to Gaza. They were initially told that she was killed in the Oct. 7 massacre. Emily holds Irish citizenship, and her family has reached out to the Irish government for assistance.
Sporadic shooting and rocket fire continues in the north. At least 10 rockets were fired at Kiryat Shemona last night. One rocket was intercepted. Rocket fragments fell in several parts of the town causing damage and 1 fire. The entire area near the northern border has been locked down.
Two Border Police officers were wounded, one critically, in a stabbing attack by a terrorist near a police station outside Jerusalem's Old City. The terrorist was shot by the injured soldiers. The critically wounded officer is a 20 year old woman.
Over the weekend, a massive rocket barrage were fired at Tel Aviv and other cities in central Israel. No casualties or damage was reported.
Sgt. Shahar Cohen Mivtach, 22, from Karmiel, of the Armored Corps, was killed the previous day in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.
The US has moved a nuclear submarine to the Middle East region.
Speaking to the Bulgarian Prime Minister, PM Netanyahu said, "We are not only fighting our war - but the war of the whole civilization against barbarism. We are fighting the most brutal enemy we have seen since the Holocaust, who is committing a double war crime - they are both targeting civilians on purpose and using their own civilians as human shields."
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders said in a CNN interview Sunday, “I don’t know how you can have a permanent cease-fire with an organization like Hamas which is dedicated to turmoil and chaos and destroying the State of Israel. And I think what the Arab countries in the region understand is that Hamas has got to go.”

Intense combat continues as IDF forces battle Hamas terrorists in northern Gaza and the outskirts of Gaza City. Scores of terrorists have been killed, including several high ranking commanders. The IDF death toll is at 24.
The IDF released a recording of an intercepted call with a Gaza health official in which they reveal that Hamas has around a quarter of a million gallons of fuel stored beneath the Shifa hospital.
In the north, IDF forces struck Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanon in response to rocket fire. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah is scheduled to make a public speech today.
US Secretary of State Blinken is in Israel today and met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders to discuss concrete steps to minimize harm to civilians in besieged Gaza. The Biden administration is beginning to crack in the face of pressure from the Left to force Israel to agree to a ceasefire.
Would the US grant a ceasefire to Osama Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda, ISIS? You don't negotiate a truce with terrorists. You hunt them down and destroy them.
Hamas forfeited the possibility of ceasefire when they raped mother's while burning their children in ovens before their eyes; when they beheaded babies in front of their parents, when they slaughtered entire families in their beds, cribs and wheelchairs; when they raped and beheaded young girls and threw grenades into bomb shelters filled with civilians.
Those enlightened lovers of peace demanding a ceasefire are condoning the atrocities and barbarism of Hamas. If they want to protect Palestinian civilians, they should be demanding that Hamas stop using them as human shields and stop preventing them from evacuated. They should demand that Hamas stop fighting and lay down their arms to protect their people. But instead they demand that Israel forgive and forget, and wait until the next massacre.
Hamas "militants" are simply Jihad inspired psychopathic terrorist rapists and murderers who have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt what depraved acts of inhuman barbarism they are ready and willing to commit. The only option Israel, and the entire free world, has is to wipe them out. There is no other option. This is truly a war between good and evil, and evil must be vanquished if good is to survive.
Hamas is pure evil. They have proven that to the world. Now the world must stand up against evil until it is utterly eliminated. No ceasefire, no truce, no forgiveness, no second chance. Only total victory.

Intense combat continues as IDF forces battle Hamas terrorists in northern Gaza and the outskirts of Gaza City. Scores of terrorists have been killed, including several high ranking commanders. The IDF death toll is at 24.
The IDF released a recording of an intercepted call with a Gaza health official in which they reveal that Hamas has around a quarter of a million gallons of fuel stored beneath the Shifa hospital.
In the north, IDF forces struck Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanon in response to rocket fire. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah is scheduled to make a public speech today.
US Secretary of State Blinken is in Israel today and met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders to discuss concrete steps to minimize harm to civilians in besieged Gaza. The Biden administration is beginning to crack in the face of pressure from the Left to force Israel to agree to a ceasefire.
Would the US grant a ceasefire to Osama Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda, ISIS? You don't negotiate a truce with terrorists. You hunt them down and destroy them.
Hamas forfeited the possibility of ceasefire when they raped mother's while burning their children in ovens before their eyes; when they beheaded babies in front of their parents, when they slaughtered entire families in their beds, cribs and wheelchairs; when they raped and beheaded young girls and threw grenades into bomb shelters filled with civilians.
Those enlightened lovers of peace demanding a ceasefire are condoning the atrocities and barbarism of Hamas. If they want to protect Palestinian civilians, they should be demanding that Hamas stop using them as human shields and stop preventing them from evacuated. They should demand that Hamas stop fighting and lay down their arms to protect their people. But instead they demand that Israel forgive and forget, and wait until the next massacre.
Hamas "militants" are simply Jihad inspired psychopathic terrorist rapists and murderers who have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt what depraved acts of inhuman barbarism they are ready and willing to commit. The only option Israel, and the entire free world, has is to wipe them out. There is no other option. This is truly a war between good and evil, and evil must be vanquished if good is to survive.
Hamas is pure evil. They have proven that to the world. Now the world must stand up against evil until it is utterly eliminated. No ceasefire, no truce, no forgiveness, no second chance. Only total victory.

IDF forces are advancing into the heart of Gaza City. Large numbers of terrorists have been killed. The combat continues to intensify. In the battle at the Jabaliyah refugee camp, Hamas pushed 100 women and children towards Israeli troops as human shields.
Lt. Col. Salman Habaka, 33, the commander of the 188th Armored Brigade's 53rd Battalion, from the Druze town of Yanuh-Jat, was killed in battle last night, when he charged his tank at terrorists who were attacking infantry troops. 17 soldiers have been killed since the start of the ground invasion.
The IDF has raised the number of hostages being held in Gaza to 242.
Several missiles were fired at Israel from southern Lebanon yesterday. The IDF attacked the launch sites. The missiles caused no damage.
Terrorists fired at a vehicle near Einav on route 557, in Samaria. The car overturned and the driver, a reserve soldier, was killed. IDF forces are searching for the terrorists.
Foreign nationals have begun leaving Gaza through the Rafah crossing.
Jordan warned Houthi forces in Yemen not to fire missiles at Eilat, because of the cities close proximity to Jordan.

The IDF has used the "Arrow" long-range defense system to successfully intercept a ballistic missile launched toward Israel from Yemen. IDF aircraft were also scrambled earlier today to address another aerial threat in the Red Sea region, successfully neutralizing hostile flying targets in the area. All threats were intercepted outside Israeli territory, ensuring no breach of Israeli airspace.
Missiles were also intercepted above Eilat, Mitzpeh Ramon and the Ramon International Airport. The Iran-backed Houthi government in Yemen has claimed responsibility for the missile and drone attacks against Israel and pledges to continue.
Intense urban combat continues in Gaza as the IDF continues its operation with coordinated infantry, armored, artillery, air and naval forces. Rockets continue to be fired from Gaza at Israeli communities including Tel Aviv, Hezliyah and other central cities.
Yesterday, Israeli forces rescued Private Ori Megidish, who was taken hostage by Hamas during the Oct. 7 terror attack. Megidish was reunited with her family and appears to be in good health. No soldiers were injured in the rescue operation. Earlier, Hamas released a video showing three female hostages, in which one of them criticizes Prime Minister Netanyahu. The hostages clearly spoke under great duress. There are still 239 hostages in Gaza.
Israeli aircraft attacked Hezbollah positions and weapons depots in Lebanon today.
US President Biden and Prime Minister Netanyahu agreed yesterday to significantly increase humanitarian aid to Gaza. The goal is to reach 100 trucks a day. Fuel will not be delivered, because it will most likely be taken by Hamas. According to all reports, Hamas is well stocked with enough food, medicine and fuel to last for months. More than 90% of Gaza civilians have already moved to the safe areas in southern Gaza.
Israel is attempting to persuade and pressure Egypt to allow refugees from Gaza into Sinai. Egypt is opposed to the idea. Egypt has invited Hamas for a meeting in Cairo in the coming days to discuss the prisoner issue and the situation in Gaza. For more, click here.

The IDF killed top Hamas commander Ibrahim Biari, who took part in commanding the Oct.7 massacre, and many other terrorists in an airstrike on Jabaliya refugee camp. Rocket barrages continue against Israeli cities. Over 8500 rockets have been fired at Israel since the start of the war.
Last night, the IDF intercepted a surface-to-air missile launched from Lebanese territory toward an IDF drone. In response, IAF aircraft struck the origin of the missile launch, as well as the terrorists who carried out the launch.
Israeli Navy missile boats are now in the Red Sea, after missile and drone attacks from Yemen.
Dual-national citizens have been granted permission to leave Gaza via the Rafah crossing.

The IDF advanced into Gaza over the weekend and tanks have been reported outside of Gaza City. IDF forces killed dozens of terrorists in the last 2 days and struck over 600 terror targets, including weapons depots, dozens of anti-tank missile launching positions and terrorist hideouts and staging areas. Meanwhile, rockets continue to be fired at Israel. several hits were recorded, including a factory in Ashkelon and a home in Netivot. Trucks carrying humanitarian aid continue to flow into southern Gaza.
The IDF also entered the Jenin refugee camp last night, in an operation to destroy terrorist infrastructure. Three terrorists, Wiam Iyad Hanon, 27, Amir Abdullah Sharbaji and Nawras Ibrahim Baghawi, 28, were killed by IDF fire during the operation. Forces arrested 51 terror suspects, including 38 Hamas members. An additional 12 Hamas members were arrested in overnight raids in various villages. Since the beginning of the war, over 1,000 terror suspects have been arrested in the West Bank, including 700 Hamas members.
A terrorist stabbed a Border Police officer near a gas station on Route 1 in Jerusalem this morning. Police chased the terrorist and shot and killed him. The 40 year old officer is in critical condition.
Last night, rockets were fired from Syria into the Golan. According to Syrian reports, the IDF responded by attacking 2 army posts in Syria, from where the rockets were believed to be launched.
Syrian and Lebanese sources reported that US planes mounted several attacks in areas belonging to Iranian militias on the Syria-Iraq border overnight.
A German-Israeli hostage, 23 year old Shani Louk, has been confirmed dead by Israeli officials. Her naked body was paraded in the back of a Hamas truck in Gaza after the Oct. 7th terror attack, in which she and at least 230 other Israeli and foreign nationals were kidnapped and taken hostage.
An IDF reserve soldier was killed and 3 others wounded when their tank overturned along the Lebanese border, in a tragic accident.
[As the war continues, we all need to remain firm against those who attempt to equate the justified Israeli military action against terror with Hamas’s barbaric terror attacks and their oppression of the Palestinian population of Gaza, whom they are using as human shields. French President Macron arrived in Israel today met with families whose loved ones were abducted by Hamas into the Gaza Strip. He later met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Herzog. Macron said, “As was the case that a coalition formed to defeat ISIS, I call to establish an international coalition to act against terrorist organizations threatening the world.” He added, “We need to act against Hezbollah and what’s happening in Yemen. This is an interest of all countries in the region. The safety of the Israeli people is non-negotiable, we think Hamas is a terrorist organization that should be combated with force and without mercy. Rocket barrages were fired at Ashkelon and the surrounding communities early this morning, as the third aid convoy entered Gaza from Egypt. The IDF struck 320 Hamas targets in Gaza in the last 24 hours. Overnight, infantry and armored forces of the Givati Brigade attacked several terrorist squads, including anti-tank squads, and other infrastructure targets.
IDF forces attacked a terror cell on the Lebanon border, destroying an anti-tank missile launcher Hezbollah planned on using against IDF positions. IDF spokesman Brig.-Gen. Daniel Hagari said on Monday morning that, in the last day, the IDF has eliminated eight terrorist squads in Lebanon that tried to launch anti-tank missiles at troops and since the beginning of the war it has eliminated more than 20 terrorist squads in Lebanon.
On Sunday, Israel attacked Damascus and Aleppo airports, putting them both out of commission. The attacks are meant to prevent Iran from delivering weapons.
Also yesterday, the IDF conducted an air strike against a 5 man terror squad hiding beneath a mosque in Jenin. According to security forces, the heavily armed squad was preparing to launch an attack like the massacres conducted by Hamas on border communities in the South. Two of the terrorists were killed and the rest were wounded or captured. Members of the terror squad were affiliated with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad and had been involved in attacks carried out in the West Bank over recent months. The mosque had sheltered terrorists in the past and was used as a command center for attacks against Israelis.
The New York Times reported that the White House "advised Israel to delay a ground invasion of Gaza" in order to buy more time for negotiations on the release of hostages and to prepare for possible attacks by pro-Iranian militias against American targets. The US continues to work on getting more hostages released, after successfully enabling the release of Israeli Americans Judith and Natalie Raanan.

A rocket fired by the Islamic Jihad in Gaza hit the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza, causing hundreds of casualties. An IDF video clearly shows the rocket hit. The rocket was part of a barrage fired at Israel. Initial reports claimed that the IDF was responsible for hitting the hospital, causing outrage in the Arab world. Jordanian and Egyptian leaders cancelled their meetings with US President Biden. Now the truth is known, but it's unlikely that the Arab world and all those who support Hamas will accept it. [Since last week, 2 hospital in Israel have been hit by terrorist rockets.]
President Biden landed in Israel this morning and met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Herzog. Biden expressed his full support for Israel and confirmed that the strike on the hospital was perpetrated by terrorists and not Israel. Biden also spent an hour and a half in a meeting with Israel's war cabinet. He will also meet with families of the terror victims.
Last night, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz held a joint press conference with Prime Minister Netanyahu in Tel Aviv and said that Germans share in the “terrible suffering of all Israelis” in the wake of last weeks terror attack and said, “Germany’s history and the responsibility it had for the Holocaust requires us to maintain the security and existence of Israel.”
Security forces arrested 41 terror suspects, including 30 Hamas members, in raids last night throughout the territories.
The IDF has said that there are still Hamas terrorist cells roaming the Negev region and waiting to come out of their hiding spots and attack civilians.
Rockets continue to be fired at Israel from Gaza. Sporadic incidents of anti-tank missiles and small arms fire from Lebanon continue. The IDF is responding with strikes against terror targets in Gaza and Lebanon.

A rocket fired by the Islamic Jihad in Gaza hit the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza, causing hundreds of casualties. An IDF video clearly shows the rocket hit. The rocket was part of a barrage fired at Israel. Initial reports claimed that the IDF was responsible for hitting the hospital, causing outrage in the Arab world. Jordanian and Egyptian leaders cancelled their meetings with US President Biden. Now the truth is known, but it's unlikely that the Arab world and all those who support Hamas will accept it. [Since last week, 2 hospital in Israel have been hit by terrorist rockets.]
President Biden landed in Israel this morning and met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Herzog. Biden expressed his full support for Israel and confirmed that the strike on the hospital was perpetrated by terrorists and not Israel. Biden also spent an hour and a half in a meeting with Israel's war cabinet. He will also meet with families of the terror victims.

Anti tank missiles and gunshots were fired from Lebanon today and yesterday. The IDF is responding with artillery fire and air strikes.

According to the Health Ministry, around 4,229 Israelis have been wounded since the beginning of Operation Swords of Iron on October 7. Of those, 26 are in critical condition, 312 in serious condition, 725 are moderate, 2,817 are mild, with 219 hospitalized for anxiety and a further 130 are under medical evaluation.
Jordan's King Abdullah accused Israel of trying to push refugees into Jordan and Egypt. He said, "That is a red line, because I think that is the plan by certain of the usual suspects to try and create de facto issues on the ground. No refugees in Jordan, no refugees in Egypt."
US President Biden is planning to visit Israel on Wednesday, as a show of solidarity.

Israeli special forces have conducted numerous reconnaissance raids into Gaza in preparation for the expected ground invasion.
The IDF displayed thousands of captured Hamas weapons including anti tank and anti aircraft missiles. Plans were also found indicating Hamas plans to attack Ashkelon and even go as far north as Kiryat Gat. Schools were specifically targeted. Most of the weapons were manufactured in Gaza. The bravery of soldiers and civilian security details prevented an even greater massacre and destruction.
