Philip tested by the Lord

John 6:6 This he said, testing him: for he had no doubt what he himself
would do.

We find in our lives there comes a time when our spiritual life or our
natural situation is shaken. We wonder when everything was going so smooth
and excellently, then why did this show up.

One thing we should understand if God tests us it is because He desires to
bless us and if Satan tests us it is to destroy us by the hand of God by
accuse us before God.

Here we see Philip was tested by Jesus to check what the next move of Him
will be in a situation where many were need to be fed. We need to
understand one thing names in the Bible had meaning and were given with
reason. The name Philip means ‘lover of horses’ and horses symbolized
progress so he was like our ‘prosperity gospel’ lover, thus we see he was
an instant believer but thought solutions to problems via financial way so
on being tested he started calculating the amount of bread the money that
they had would fetch. He indirectly stated the problem could be sorted if
they had more money.

Many of us are like Philip the Apostle we look for worldly solutions to
problems and this is the test we fail like Philip the Apostle did. People
come with problem and say pray for my problem and also tell to instruct God
on how the problem should be solved.

On the other hand the Evangelist Philip from Acts who was led by the Holy
Spirit saw great progress spiritually which is unimaginable. Bible records
he moved from town to town in a snap like what we read in comic stories
(transporting).

Let us acknowledge God as Almighty God who created all things that exist
and one who has given life to all, a God who is omnipresent knowing all not
only our present but also our past and our future. His ways are unlike the
ways of man thus His solutions would also be different. Let us not seek a
natural solution to all things for God can do far greater than what we can
imagine.

Lord You are Almighty, Omnipresent and Omnipotent God. You know all and
nothing is impossible for You. Lord we pray learn to have strong and
greater faith in You. Your word says even faith that is very small but
without doubt can move mountains. We pray with the little we know of your
Kingdom we hold on to it strongly so that we see your glory day by day...

The trumpet is blown in advance

John 13:19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass,
ye may believe that I am [he].

In a war situation soldiers with trumpets are set on high locations like on
towers, so that as the enemy is seen on the horizon they can blow the
trumpets and warn the people, thus give some time for the people to be
prepared to face the enemy. Even when a friendly / any person is
approaching in an alert situation the trumpet is still blown but in such a
way that all do not panic but the necessary people go to the gate to
receive / inspect the person. It is only when the kingdom is in peace with
its neighboring kingdoms that the gate are thrown open for everyone and no
soldier stands with a trumpet to sound any alarm.

In today’s message Jesus is stating about prophecies coming true and due to
the prophecies coming true people will know Him and the Father who sent
Him. What differentiates the Bible from so called ‘holy books’ of other
religions is prophecies. Since they man created books they lack prophecies
that are true.

In the present situation in Christianity we have 2 extreme situations, one
situation where people do not prophesy (speak the prophecies given in the
Bible) and other where they wrongly prophesy (speak prophecies not in its
due time or speak false prophecies).

Yesterday a Brother in Christ (a much anointed person) met me with regards
some personal disturbance in his life. He had met his Pastor with regards
some matter and the Pastor prophesied telling him what he wanted to listen.
Now after a period when problems came his faith has been shaken.

Preachers and Pastors are very happy when one out of twenty prophecies they
speak comes true and they boast about that to the world endlessly. They do
not give account to the 19 wrong/false prophecies (errors) which they
committed and thus destroyed the lives of those people.

It is only when we do the right interpretation of scriptures and speak what
the Lord instructs us that we will see manifestation of His glory, people
coming to know Christ and the Father more closely. If the Lord has not
spoken we should learn to shut up and wait on Him. Also dreams and visions
are not easy to understand thus it is important to fellowship with Teachers
who can help interpret them accurately. I remember many a times in the
start of my spiritual walk I made mistakes in understanding fully things
the Lord spoke to me where I over exaggerated things naturally when they
were more spiritual. Even though what I spoke was not 100% false but partly
true yet that is not what the Lord desires of us.

Let us not make the Lord a liar by misinterpreting His Word nor we should
speak our desires saying it is the Lord who spoke, if we do we will have to
give Him an account on it and this is not necessarily only on Judgment Day.

Lord You are Almighty God and You are perfect in every way, You are light
and there is no darkness in You. Lord we pray we learn to interpret your
Word accurately so that we do not make You a liar and also teach us to be
silent and wait on You when You have not spoken. We pray for wisdom,
maturity amongst your people and above all fear of the Lord...

Baphomet worshippers

Zephaniah 1:4 I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all
the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from
this place, [and] the name of the Chemarims with the priests;

People have seen Satanic churches that worship Satan, they have a statue of
Satan as a human with a goats head (Baphomet – a Latin word). In the Bible
one of the terms used for Satan is she-goat (nanny/doe). It is not that
goats are evil nor are snakes evil although in the Bible they are seem to
be projected with a negative image, people do not realize in the Bible
Jesus was also symbolized in the OT as a bronze snake lifted on a pole.
Similarly a large part of Jesus’ flock (2/3) are goats and only (1/3) are
sheep. Bible says on Judgment Day the sheep will be separated from the
goats and only the sheep will enter Heaven while the Goats will be caste in
the Lake of Fire / Sulphur (which is worse than Hell).

People do not realize Satan is more associated with those who believe in
God and not so much with those who do not believe in God. Although those
who believe in other gods worship Satan indirectly yet it is those who
believe in God and do not abide in His Word/Will are the main
promoters/worshippers of Satan and his evil kingdom. One needs to
understand according to the Commandments of Lord, killing, stealing, lying
or even hating a person is the same and none is greater than the other. So
what we think as greater sin and more satanic is as evil as the simple sins
we call ‘white lies’ or ‘social sins’ (like abusing, gossiping, adultery
etc.).

I took up these things about goats because today’s message speaks of how
the Lord visits His people who worshipped Baal. Baal is not a demonic god
but simply means ‘unknown god’. They may have been worshippers of God
Almighty yet because they did not know Him they did things contrary to His
Kingdom / His ways. The term ‘Gentiles’ in the Bible does not refer to
heathens but to those who know God yet follow pagan practices and lifestyle..

Today there are many claiming to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, but they do
not know Him. They call themselves ‘Christians’ but follow a human
religion, they have no understanding of the purpose of Christianity for
they manipulate God’s Word to enjoy worldly carnal life.

Let us not think just because we are ‘Christians’ our God is the God
Almighty, we may be goats who worship Baphomet because we manipulate God,
His Word or His ways for fulfilment of our desires.

Lord You are God and alone are God, even Satan (plural) and the fallen
angels (devils) know that. Satan and their angels wants to be god amongst
the people so as to get your people destroyed by your wrath thus works not
so much amongst those whose who do not know You but more amongst those who
know You, so as fulfil their mission. Lord we pray we know the danger of
not abiding in your Word / your Will. We pray we worship You in spirit and

Religious Accusations

Mark 15:3 And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered
nothing.

A new trend has started in India where some people having little scriptural
understanding or spiritual maturity have started campaigning against
well-known preachers or Pastors. One such person I know has released a
series of videos on different persons and he thinks he is doing God’s work,
he and his group feel they are soldiers of God’s Kingdom!

What is more surprising although these people act like fools, the preachers
and their supports are no less, some of them threatened violence against
the persons and this has encouraged them further. Now these accusers are
more encouraged and think of things like martyrdom!

Prosperity Gospel and heretic teachings have been a part of the Church even
during the times of the Apostles. Paul who was highly respected for his
knowledge and understanding, himself gave up confronting these people
publicly and at the end spiritually dealt with them. These people saw the
strength and weaknesses of Paul and worked against his weaknesses, so they
did not choose the smartest or most knowledgeable person against Paul but
used people who could speak well since Paul was not a good orator.

The term Apologetics is to give an answer to those who seek. It is a
biblical word and requires a person to do so in a gentle way, with a good
conscience, not using evil means. There is another face to Apologetics it
called Polemics where in there is a verbal attack against the accuser and
it is this that has been distorted and misused today a lot. People think
they are doing God’s work by engaging in pure Polemics. Polemics without
Apologetics goes against God’s Kingdom since the purpose of God’s Kingdom
is to save souls. Bible is clear if any brethren does wrong one needs to
meet him or her in person and explain it, if the person still does not
listen then take two or three and engage in a discussion, if that too does
not find fruit then that the matter before the congregation and if still
the person does not listen then treat the person as an unbeliever.

When it comes to wrong teachings we are called to not focus on the person
but on their teachings and confront their teachings without naming them all
the time. Let us not be petty minded and behave like worldly people having
no wisdom. Let us understand we fall in a trap when we use worldly means or
methods and land up supporting the cause of destruction against God’s
Kingdom. We should always leave a window for the person to repent and
return to God’s ways.

In today’s message we see Jesus used discretion as what to answer and when
to answer. Even though He knew the doctrines of the Jewish Church was
against God’s Kingdom yet He focused on saving people and not on attacking
the Jewish Church. Let wisdom too prevail in us and let us not destroy our
own harvest.

Lord You are Almighty God full of wisdom. Even though You can cruse evil in
a second yet You have borne it since eons so that You save your people from
it. You made sure evil is kept in check and intervened as and when required
but did not lose your focus. Lord we pray we do not land helping the enemy
by our foolishness but with wisdom concentrate on saving souls...

Doctrines of Men

John 18:22 And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by
struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high
priest so?

In my initial days of coming to know the Lord, the Lord started teaching me
through dreams and visions, on sharing them I would get a very despising
response like I was a heretic, but as I studied more of scriptures, its
historic data, manuscripts and even the biblical languages (Hebrew and
Greek - to some extend) today people hesitate to even react since they know
I will not only answer them but also being an Apologist I know how to. They
complement to my face but run far from me after that, because what I speak
goes against the doctrines they hold.

Before, at times they told me to my face of how they have ‘spent years
studying scriptures’, ‘serving God’, ‘running a Church’ and how they ‘have
the Holy Spirit’...

When I came to know the Lord I wanted to join a Bible college to study the
Word but the Lord did not allow me and personally taught me, later I came
to know how the curriculum is designed by secular people and not spiritual
people.

In today’s message we see Jesus was struck / slapped because He did answer
the High Priest questioning His doctrines but answered with a question. One
of the reasons Jesus was crucified was because of His doctrines.

How is it, that two people have differing doctrines (teachings /
understanding) when they are both referring to the same text?

If one cross questions people on their doctrines one will find although all
say they are scriptura (refer to scriptures) but in fact are referring to
what a person has said about scriptures. So it is not surprising if the
text says ‘blue’ they will yet say ‘violet’ and still say they are
referring to the text, all because someone read it as ‘violet’. Their ‘Holy
Spirit’ is not the Spirit of God but a human preacher who is famous or
their Pastor who is idolized by them.

Bible is very true when it says man will look and yet not see, hear and yet
not understand since their hearts are hardened towards God and His Kingdom.
They do work in the name of God and His Kingdom yet their purpose is
something else which is against God’s Kingdom.

At times I am happy I was a Catholic and came to know God and His Word
later. Since I was deceived thus I do not trust any man and check every
teaching with the Word and therefore nonsensical teachings are far from me.

Lord You are Almighty and Holy God. You are perfect thus your Word too is
perfect. Lord we pray your people stop following man and his word but
follow You and Your Word. We pray they do not harden their hearts towards
You and your Kingdom for their personal desires which are worldly...

Trance

Acts 10:10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they
made ready, he fell into a trance,

In Goan party culture we find a specific type of music called ‘trance’ is
loved by specially the tourists and by youth. The music is characterized by
a tempo between 110–150 beats per minute with repeating melodic phrases.
Although it is stated to have started in Europe during the early 1900s yet
this music is common to many Hindu worship rituals in India since many
centuries and made famous by Hare Krishna Hare Rama cult.

This music is mostly enjoyed with drugs either hard (weed / chemicals) or
home grown which is common in India thus we have most Hindu sages in India
as drug addicts since they are into this trance culture.

In Yoga they use the term ‘meditation’ and in English we understand it as
concentration or being mentally focused on something but in Yogic
terminology it is the opposite, it requires the person to cut off one’s
senses or awareness and go into a state of trance. A high state of yogic
Asana is to roll the tongue with the lower tissue being physically cut,
that way the tongues rolls back fully and blocks the wind pipe, this
deprives the brain of oxygen and later when wind pipe is opened, sudden
oxygen is received by the brain and thus causes the brain to go in a state
of trance which the yogic thinks is nirvana. This same thing is done by the
youth in western countries in a dangerous game called ‘the choking game’
where they choke the neck for a period and then release it. Many youth have
died in this game. This dangerous methodology is also used by people bored
with normal sex so as to heighten their state on arousal.

The word trance used in today’s scripture is a Greek compound word meaning
‘out of stand / position’. Basically it means a person who is not in his or
her senses. This word is used trice in the Bible referring to two incidents
and both in the book of Acts but has no connection with oxygen being
deprived to the brain for a period nor being under the influence of
substance. The same root word is also translated 4 other times as being in
a state of shock or being amazed. It is a state where a person dreams or
sees a vision while his or her eyes still open.

Dreams and visions are fundamental to Christianity for it is the way the
Holy Spirit speaks to us and teaches us as we grow in Him. Those who have a
calling of Teacher - Spiritual (there are 2 types) will have experienced
dreams almost on daily basis while studying the Word, but as they grow in
the Lord spiritually and increase in wisdom the dreams/visions will reduce
since the foundation is strongly build and the Word gets expounded easily.
Both Peter and Paul had experienced this trance experience in their early
spiritual lives.

Lord You are a Living God. You alone have life in yourself and all life
comes from You. Life without growth and communication is not life but slow
death. You Lord communicate to us through your Word and your Spirit. Lord
we pray we learn to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and open to His
communication. We pray we suppress the disturbance caused by our earthly
desires so that we receive better understanding of the Word through Him...

Man or Bhagwans or gods?

John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye
are gods?

Today’s scripture is one sticky scripture very rarely referred to and most
detested by theologians when asked to explain and one would find great
contradictions between them.

In India there are some Hindi terms which are rarely understood since they
origin in the Sanskrit language, like the word ‘Namahaste’ is believed as
welcome but this greeting in Sanskrit actually means ‘the one inside me
acknowledges / respects the one inside you’. It is not a natural greeting
but a spiritual greeting and thus Christians should be careful in using it
towards non-Christians. Also the term ‘Bhagwan’ is believed to be as god
but is a compound word which means ‘man’ (wan) and bhag (god), so means
man-god and not God. In Hinduism they have the concept of ‘Deva’ who were
gods with human likeness (some have part animal nature) that can die and
thus these gods carried weapons which they used against each other.

Hinduism believes humans can become gods but they serve greater gods in
Swarg (Heaven). Islam on the other hand projects man as slaves of Allah but
in Jamnat (Paradise – the garden before Taj Mahal is made in that design)
the men will have sex with 72 Houris each (special virgin women in Paradise
who do not have periods) day and night and will be served special wine
continually (some Islamic verses project the number of Houris as even
larger).

Where does Christianity stand against these diverse understandings?

We find Jesus stating two things, one man after resurrection would be like
Angels of Heaven. We also have other scriptures which back this i.e. the
Angels which come with Him on Judgment Day are also referred to as Saints
(humans) in other scriptures.

But in today’s verse we find Jesus saying we will be like gods! Can anyone
become God? God is neither created nor born, He existed since eternity so
even if man would have eternal life through his access to the Tree / River
of Life yet he cannot become God. Does that mean this scripture is false?

This term gods for man is not once but twice used in OT, once when the Lord
tells Moses he would be made god to Pharaoh and also in the Psalm by David
where he says he would worship the Lord before other gods. We know there is
only one God thus when Moses asked the Lord His name, He said He is who He
is (I am who I am).

Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Son and the Son came from the Father thus
the Holy Spirit is also the Spirit of the Father. The Son came for the
salvation of creation so would return back to the Father once His task is
done. So even though we have 3 divine beings yet there is only one God.

The secret of today’s message is in understanding life and marriage
(natural marriage is a shadow of our Heavenly marriage). God is life and
source of all life, thus even though His nature is the same and never
changes yet He grows in glory. Anything that does not grow or progress is
not considered living. God created the Angels and then man, to correct the
Angels and all this for a purpose which Bible says is beyond the
imagination of man. So even though scriptures reveal some glimpse of this
yet it is just un-comprehendible as to what is in store for us in Heaven.
Even the Angels do not have knowledge of this like us. Jesus said no being
has seen the Father other than the Son who came from within Him and in the
end Bible says the Father with dwell with man / Angels (Heavenly Temple)
and they will be one.

Lord You are Awesome God. You Lord created minuscule man to not only become
like the glorious Angels in Heaven but also for greater unimaginable things
in Heaven. Lord we pray man understands the suffering and persecution faced
here is nothing compared to that reward which awaits us in Heaven. We pray

We Judged Him

Mark 15:16 And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium;
and they call together the whole band.

As man Jesus always said He had not come to judge but only to save. We on
the other hand put Him to judgment.

In today’s message we read Pilot who knew Jesus was innocent had made an
attempt to release Him but failed because he had to please the people and
abide to their desire of seeing Jesus crucified. Even though they were
going to crucify Him, yet we see they were not satisfied so mocked Him by
putting a robe of royal color purple on Him and crowned Him with a crown of
thorns. All these acts were part of the fulfilment of prophecies so as to
perform the sacrifices mentioned in books of Moses.

Let me take some examples.

The crown of thorns was to break the curse of thorns and reeds that was on
man when Adam and Eve sinned. The Lord had cursed man that he would labor
and face problems (thorns) and losses (reeds) in his work. We know today by
Jesus being crowned with that crown we will not be facing problems and
losses in our work for He took that curse on Himself and broke it.

Also while placing the crown on His head they laid their hands on His head
and thus transferred our sins on Him (as per statute) and Jesus also did
the other part of wondering in the wilderness, that is after His
resurrection; while doing that He spoke to the two men and broke bread with
them. We are assure by this act of transfer of sins and His wilderness walk
that our sins are forgiven (as Paschal Lamb He took the wrath of God on
Himself and by His hanging He made peace between God and man).

What is ironic in today’s message is the Romans took Him to a hall called
Praetorium which in Greek means ‘Judgment Hall’.

God is merciful but not forgetful and not unrighteous, His mercy gives us a
chance to change and does not blindly write off our sins. He also went out
of His way to give us His Spirit so as to help us change. Within the time
given if we do not change we will have to answer Him that too in His
Judgment Hall like we did to Him. The Hebrew word for day is hemera and
comes from the word hemai which means sitting.

Another parallelism of this event and Judgment Day is that Pilate had to
abide by the desire of the people and on Judgment Day Jesus has to abide by
the Word of God / Truth. Even though Jesus as man sits on the Judgment Seat
yet it is the Word that judges us. The grace of God is given for us to
understand the Word and His Spirit given to help us abide in it, and those
who do not utilize that grace and reject the Spirit will have to answer
Judgment Day, thus all who stand before Him are only those who received
grace. Let us not reject or mock the grace and Spirit of God given to us.
If we do that then what else remains to save us? Nothing.

Merciful. It is only in your mercy that You gave us a chance to change and
repent from our sinful ways. We pray Lord that do not abuse the grace and

Hardened Hearts without Repentance

John 12:40,41 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that
they should not see with [their] eyes, nor understand with [their] heart,
and be converted, and I should heal them. These things said Esaias, when he
saw his glory, and spake of him.

We find a large section of Christians follow the false doctrine of Once
Saved Always Saved even though many may not do not confess it. They believe
just by believing in Christ they receive grace and that grace will save
them and assure them their inheritance in Heaven.

There are some facts OSAS doctrine ignores:-
1) There are different categories of grace so one needs to have grace in
different areas of one’s live, also one needs to grow in quantity /
strength in that specific area.
2) Grace is received by faith thus to remain in grace one needs to keep the
faith. Even though this grace is a gift yet it is given only to those who
have faith. If the person loses faith then grace too will be lost and we
see this happened with many in the Bible i.e. the Israelites who left Egypt..
3) All those who believe are part of the flock of Jesus Christ and the
flock constitutes of sheep and goats. It is only the sheep who enter Heaven
and not the goats.

Bible goes on to specify for every sheep there are two goats thus one can
imagine the amount of so called Christians who are deceived by doctrines
which will destroy them. When Bible says believe in Christ to be saved it
does not say by believing alone one will enter Haven, it means believing is
primarily importance and after believing one needs to follow Christ to
become His disciple. The term disciple means one who follows and not just
the one who believes.

Today’s message tells us God is aware of this yet does not intervene to
change these people. We cannot blame God for the loss of these people for
God looks for repentance and these people lack repentance. They think being
sorry is repentance so do not experience true baptism and thus do not
qualify to enter Heaven.

One needs to be baptized in spirit to enter Heaven and the word baptism
does not mean being tipped in water as what people think. The Greek word
‘baptizo’ comes for the dying process in which clothe is dyed, thus
requires change in spirit in what the person is dipped in. the person need
to take on the nature of that in which he or she is baptized in and the
person’s former nature needs to die. This is not a one shot process but a
long continual process that starts from the day one is baptized in Christ
right unto the day one sleeps in Christ. All those remaining in that
process (race) will be saved.

Lord You are Spirit and your Kingdom is a Spirit world. This natural world
will perish and nothing of this will remain on Judgment Day. Lord we pray
we seek your Kingdom in truth thus always have a repenting heart that seeks

He protects us even amongst enemies

John 7:44 And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on
him.

We read about persecution and also read in the Bible of how God protected
His people from their enemies and wonder why at times we see great miracles
and at times face persecution.

Most of the times I have seen people facing problems not in the name of the
Lord but because they do foolish things taking God’s name. They face the
wrath of God more than the anger of people. Let’s take some examples, many
preach the Gospel not to save people but to add them to their Church.

There was a person preaching in Church about going out saving souls and the
importance of doing so else we do not qualify as Christians. While he was
preaching I was wondering is he the same person, since time and again I had
approached him for evangelizing people in other areas of the city and he
was interested only in those staying near the Church. He knew his Pastor
would not approve of him reaching out to people in other areas.

I have heard a Pastor of a mega Church openly threatening the congregation
about putting their tithes in other places, saying if they do so he would
not come to their help when they need him like caught by a cop or when they
are very sick, and he himself was suffering from severe back problems for
many years.

People may be doing the ‘Lord’s’ ministry with personal interests and
agendas, large number amongst them do for material reasons, some do for
carnal desires (pride, power, glory, gaining obligations etc.) but only a
very few do for the expansion of God’s Kingdom. People have big seminars
for commissioning people for Lord’s mission; find how many amongst them are
actually doing the mission. Not even a minuscule number, yet they are
called great preachers.

Long back a brother came to me saying someone prophesized he would be a
martyr for God’s Kingdom. He was both happy and sad. I asked him what would
the Lord prefer and living solider or a dead solider? And he said a living
solider. Later he realized that the prophecy was fake for that person who
prophesized himself was a fake prophet. In fact the Lord had warned me
about his shaky spiritual life and I had warned him, but he preferred to
not hear that but hear nonsense, even today his spiritual live is the same
even though the Lord had called him for great things.

People do not like to change spiritually so do all kind of nonsense in
God’s name just to justify themselves and when they face problems they call
it persecution. So if we are facing problems in our ministry or spiritual
lives let us first introspect our lives and the purpose of our work in Him.

impossible for You and we see in the Bible You have saved your people from
all kinds of danger when they walked in your way and how they faced
problems when they murmured and broke your Law. Lord we pray we do not

spiritual lives to bring corrections...

Justified not by faith or grace alone

Romans 3:28 We reckon therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from
the works of the law.

We know the very famous scripture Ephesians 2:5 which says we are saved by
grace and then we have Ephesians 2:8 which tells us this grace we receive
by faith. That means when I have faith in Christ then I receive His grace
and thus are saved.

But what people do not understand is that grace is only one of the key
elements for our salvation. Just by grace alone one is not saved and if
that was the case then the Holy Spirit would not have be necessary and
Jesus would not have been hung on the cross to make peace with God and man
so that we receive His Spirit, He also would not have left us after His
resurrection to make way for His Spirit to take over.

In today’s scripture we read Paul emphasizing the importance of faith but
also states we need to fulfil the works of the law. This law is not the law
of the Jews (religion) which was to show their worldly righteousness but
Law of God which builds us and brings us to the Truth, which saves us.

Let us not abuse the grace of God by claiming it but not walking in His
Word or shining His light unto others. Let us understand what we receive we
also need to impart unto others so that we receive double, else what we
have will be taken away and faith need to be kept alive, the day our faith
dies we also lose grace.

creation but by those who did not abide in You. Lord we pray understand we
came to know You by your grace and by your grace we receive your Spirit to

Did Jesus defy the Law?

Mark 3:2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath
day; that they might accuse him.

We see Jesus loved to heal people especially on Sabbath since the sick and
poor came to the synagogue on that day for alms. Today’s incident where
Jesus was observed if He would heal this man with a withered hand on a
Sabbath and Jesus did not disappoint them, He healed him.

This healing had bought great changes in the relationship of Jesus with the
Jewish authorities. It was not just about Jesus breaking the Law of Moses
(according to the Jews) but more about whom He had healed. We read the
effect of this healing was so much that the Pharisees immediately went to
higher authorities so as to plot on killing Him.

The Greek word used for withered is xeros and comes from the root word xeo
which means to boil/heat. The hand of this man was not due to any disease
but by punishment. A historian had shared on how this man was punished for
working on the tower of Solomon that too on a Sabbath. He was among the
many who were deceived by Jewish authorities to work on a Sabbath since
King Herod had given them a deadline and later punished for working on a
Sabbath (they were spared their lives). Not only they but even their family
members were punished. Thus this healing of Jesus was looked as a defiance
to the Jewish authorities and their law.

This healing had broken whatever little relationship Jesus had with the
Jewish religious authorities. This healing and healing of blind Bartimaeus
(who was a similar case but punished by Roman authorities for rebelling
against the Roman authorities) in Jericho were events that led to the
crucifixion of Jesus. Jesus being well aware yet did it.

Today the Lord is telling us at every step He was aware of events that
would led to His crucifixion and yet did not retreat. This He knew from the
time He created us and did it only because He desires to save us, that is
His love.

Lord You are Almighty and All Knowing God. Nothing is hidden from You since
time is no factor for You. Lord we pray we understand your love and its
purpose that is the salvation of man. You commanded of us love one another
and to do what You did, that is to save souls. Help us Lord to learn that

Wisdom and Christianity

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

There is always this big question: Can a person who is highly educated and
filled with knowledge be a Christian?
Answer is: most likely not.

The problem is not education, Christians are not supposed to be uneducated.
In the Jewish community education is a must since to understand scriptures
one needed to be educated. So none of the people with Jesus were uneducated
including the women and this is confirmed by the kind of teachings Jesus
shared which were not towards uneducated people but towards educated
people, since they were filled with historical events or understanding of
nature, natural phenomena.

If we look at what the world is teaching us we will see these are filled
with false information i.e. they teach evolution even though knowing it is
not fully true. Yes there is micro evolution (evolving within species) but
there is no macro evolution (one species becoming another specie). Similar
today they state the sexual preference is genetic even though knowing it is
a lie, it is like saying one is a robber or murderer or rapist due to
hereditary reasons thus natural since these also are transferred
hereditarily.

God is not against knowledge or against wisdom but in fact He says ‘the
truth will set us free’, so every Christian needs to be filled with
knowledge and understanding and for that wisdom is necessary, but what
matters is what knowledge, what understanding and what wisdom. If we are
filled with garbage can there be any good in us.

My initial coming to know the Lord was a great challenge because of the
knowledge I carried. I was a person with scientific temperament thus tried
to find a scientific understanding for all things including love, faith and
even God.

Science tells us love is a chemical reaction in our body and they are not
fully wrong. The problem is their definition of love. What they call love
is actual attraction or passion, this can be triggered for many reasons and
that trigger causes a chemical called phenethylamine to flow through the
head and this cause ‘love’. The interesting part is this chemical is found
in chocolate (among others). Coming to God science says ‘God’ but defines
Him as a ‘supernatural being’ (natural but super) so ultimately defines Him
as an alien/aliens whose source is not known.

It was only when God proved to me my ‘science’ was garbage that I started
to believe in Him. Today He causes me to learn science, history, geography
and everything under the sun but with proper understanding and discernment
since without them it is difficult to understand His Word.

all things good and stated so after You created them. Lord may we discern
that knowledge we pickup in this world. We pray we do not become fools by
realizing on garbage but be filled with knowledge and understanding that

Having proper understanding is very important

John 11:9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any
man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this
world.

It is very sad when one sees people having half knowledge of things and yet
being satisfied. It is true one cannot have complete knowledge of
everything, but when one walks and takes a step ahead one places one’s foot
on the ground firmly then only moves the other leg, without a firm foot if
the person moves the other foot then the person can stumble.

Knowledge is not understanding. Understanding comes when wisdom works on
knowledge and wisdom comes either from God or through experience. Wisdom
can also come from other people’s experiences and does not need to be ours
alone.

I always tell people either study the Word and have a good relationship
with the Lord to have understanding, so as to avoid having bad experiences
in life, else we will learn by experiences. Do not look for testimonies of
disaster to glory but for glory to glory. For example if I pray ‘Lord I
want to know You’, and I do not study His Word, then the only option for
the Lord is to let me know Him through life experiences.

Today’s message underlines the importance of having understanding of the
Kingdom of God so that we do not stumble spiritually and everything
spiritual manifests in the natural.

Lord You are Almighty Eternal God. You know all things, and your wisdom is
without measure. You Lord call us your children and thus desire us to have
wisdom and understanding of all things. You use simple people of this world
but do not keep them simple in your Kingdom and thus give them your Spirit

Adding emotions to scriptures

John 6:8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto
him,
9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small
fishes: but what are they among so many?

We all know in the book of Revelation John ends with a warning that anyone
who adds to the scriptures, plague would be added unto him and whosoever
takes away from scriptures then part of his inheritance in Heaven would be
taken away. We are called to state what scriptures state neither adding nor
subtracting from them. But we find almost all Preachers add to scriptures
especially when they do not understand it fully and this additions are
carried by the people for years and years.

One place we find almost all add to scriptures is in today’s scriptures
where Jesus multiplied loaves of bread and fed thousands. Although the
miracle was done not once but twice and that too in the same fashion yet
people did not understand it because someone had added to scripture, that
additions had set a footprint in the minds of people and thus people see
the scripture through those distorted spectacles.

I happened to see the truth because I was not convinced with what Preachers
shared, each contradicted the other. One day in Church a visiting foreign
Preacher was sharing on this topic and I was shocked to hear the simplicity
and amazement in which the miracles were done, later when I went to
appreciate the Preacher so spoke to him and he himself was confused as to
what I was saying. I checked what he had preached with a person or two
there and then I realized he had preached something else and it was the
Lord who was opening the scripture to me although I was sitting amongst a
large crowd (this had happened before also). I have shared on how these
miracles were performed in my earlier messages.

The boys mentioned in these incidents are made heroes and hymns are sung to
praise them (their sacrifice) not realizing these lads were simple street
vendors selling food to travelers. During those days loaves of bread were
the size of today’s pizza (8 to 10 inches diameter) and was sufficient for
an adult person’s meal. Fried fish was the extra delicacy to a barley loaf
and these were their favorite fast food. Also Jesus and His team did not
take these for free but must have paid these lads for what they gave
because we read they were discussing to going to the nearest town to
purchasing food for all (they had two hundred pennies in their ministry
kitty bag).

Let us not add/remove emotions nor facts to scriptures and be careful of
what people have added/deleted of scriptures, be it Preachers, Teachers or
translators. Therefore it is important we study various translations,
manuscripts and thus learn biblical languages, at the same time study
history and lifestyle of those who lived during that era.

Lord You are Almighty God. You are Perfect and your Word is Perfect. Lord
help us understand when we add or remove from scriptures we land
questioning your perfection thus liable for judgment. We pray You open our
eyes to the importance to studying scriptures to it very depth and trust

Preachers, Teachers, Evangelists, Prophets, Healers, Bishops, Church

Making Christianity into a worldly religion

John 8:8,9 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they
which heard [it], being convicted by [their own] conscience, went out one
by one, beginning at the eldest, [even] unto the last: and Jesus was left
alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

The early Church (300AD-500AD) did some of the greatest damages to
Christianity. We find most of the heretic texts were written in this
period, like the Gospels of Mary Magdalene, Thomas, Judas etc... We also
see grave heretic doctrines like declaring Mary the mother of Jesus as
‘Mother of God’ and the pagan terminology ‘Trinity’ used to describe the
Godhead and His triune existence as Father, Son and Spirit were some of the
major inductions done during this period. If one studies Islam one will
find its cause of existence is due to some of these doctrines. It proves
Revelation scriptures of this (Catholic) Church being called the ‘Mother of
all fornications’.

Also during these era some (3) changes were made to the Bible and got
carried unto today and these were identified only of late with findings of
older manuscripts. These changes were done deliberate to push some sinister
doctrines of the Catholic Church into Christianity. Today these very topics
are the most debated by Christians just because they have found deep roots
into our belief. In the new major translations one will not find these
scriptures.

Today’ verse is from amongst these added scriptures (John 8:3-11). John
8:12 was regarding the teachings which Jesus gave on the mount of Olive and
stated in Matthew. The intention of adding this fictitious incident (John
8:3-11) was to could the doctrine of judging / judgment which is key to
spiritual growth.

Judging / discerning is like teeth which allow us to consume spiritual
meat. There are some things we do not judge and some things we are called
to judge. Today most Christians believe we should not judge anyone (in any
way) and that is been achieved by this incident inclusion (which also
misleads interpretations of other scriptures). This mischief was first
identified with Bible word study, the word used for ‘write’ (Latin word) in
today’s scripture (not found elsewhere in the NT) was a term not used
during or before the time of Jesus or the Apostles but came up much later.

We as Christians are not called to judge / discern people if they are saved
or not, if we do we are putting ourselves in the Christ’s place and then
our righteousness will be questioned. We are called to judge / discern the
words and deeds of people. We are called to correct them, also protect
ourselves and others from false doctrines or wrong influence of others.
When we read the letters of Paul in whole we will find numerous cases to
prove this.

Let us understand the importance of discerning, it was for this that the
people of Berea checked Paul’s teachings with scriptures and were found to
be more mature than others, so much so Paul did not write any letters to
guide them.

Only Disciples enter Heaven

John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall
ye be my disciples.

In today’s message we see Jesus relates bearing of Fruits to being His
disciple, in other words without following Jesus there is no way anyone can
bear the Fruits of the Spirit.

In all religions we find people showing what they call as ‘love’,
‘compassion’, ‘longsuffering’, ‘faith’, ‘peace’, ‘joy’, ‘meekness’,
‘gentleness’ and ‘purity’ but when one digs deeper into them, like the
reason why (past), intension behind it (present), purpose for doing it
(future), etc. one sees vanity. Without God or without knowing God man
cannot bear Fruits and thus what they bear may seem like Fruit of the
Spirit but in reality is not.

The seed that identifies a child of God from others is the Fruit of the
Spirit (mostly faith). Having the seed does not mean we have the Fruit, for
that we need to change our lifestyle (die to ourselves), we need to be
Christians. When Jesus said if a person does not lose his or her life for
the sake of the Gospel will not find it, it did not mean one needed to
become a martyr but more of dying to oneself by killing one’s worldly
desires and putting on the desires of the Kingdom of God.

Christianity is not a belief or religion but more a lifestyle which emits
Christ. We are Christians by not just what we have in our heads but more by
the way we live our lives. As disciples of Jesus we are to live a sober
lifestyle that does mean we need to wear rags, it means we need to blend in
society not under playing nor over playing it. But then if we are living in
a surrounding that is too carnal then we are called to move out of it.

Heaven is shown as made of 12 gems mentioned in Revelation and also in the
books of Moses these gems are shown as those which represented the 12
tribes. If one has some gemology knowledge and understanding of Bible
symbolism, one will see they represent the 12 Fruits of the Spirit (9 in
Galatians 5:22-23 and 3 in Ephesians 5:9. So the key requirement to enter
Heaven is the Fruits of the Spirit.

Adam and Eve when they sinned lost 2 Fruits (Righteousness and Truth) and
thus were removed from accessing Heaven so that man can be restored these
Fruits and gain access again. Truth we get from the Holy Spirit (Spirit of
Truth) and Righteousness from the Son (on Judgment Day only if we have the
Truth). Holiness is what we receive from the Father when we enter Heaven.
These Fruits being gifted to us thus are not mentioned by Paul in Galatians
but mentioned separately in Ephesians.

We may not know the whole truth but know just some part of it is
sufficient. Knowing does not mean just knowledge but means understanding
and understanding comes with practical application. We need to follow the
Holy Spirit (abide in the Spirit of the Son) to know the truth.

By our faith in Christ we receive a token/promise of the Holy Spirit. We
see this with the Apostles in whom Jesus breathe and said ‘receive my
Spirit’ but were baptized in Him only at Pentecost. The word Spirit in
Hebrew means breathe and symbolizes Life, so if we have the Spirit/Life of
God then can we be living a worldly lives?

and You are Light. Lord we pray as your children we may project your light
by our lifestyle. Let our faith not be just knowledge in the head but real
projecting in our lifestyle. Show us Lord the way of living a Christian

Fulfilment of Scriptures – choosing of Judas

John 6:70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of
you is a devil?

Everything Jesus did was always to fulfil the will of the Father or fulfil
scriptures (leaving for the one incident of converting water to grape juice
at Cana wedding, which He did under persistence of His mother and till
today it is misunderstood and misused).

In today’s message we read Jesus knew Judas would betray Him yet He chose
him as one of the twelve just to fulfil scriptures. Theologians most quote
Psalms 41:9 or Psalms 55:12 but they do not realize even in the books of
Moses the twelve tribes of Israel were a shadow of the 12 Apostles and
there too Joseph withdraws from taking the journey to the Promised Land and
only his bones are taken. He gave up his right for fame and glory of this
world, to the extent when he died it is not written he was gathered unto
his fathers/ people like other Men of God are. He gave up his rights for
worldly reasons unlike his brethren who themselves did not physically enter
like Moses, but when they died they were gathered unto their
fathers/people.

There are times I think of my Calling in the Lord and try to take for
granted my salvation, but then incidents like that of Judas or Joseph from
the Bible remind me what if the Lord may have chosen knowing and I may be
amongst those who fail.

Everyone is a testimony and our testimony may be that of Peter, Paul or
that of Judas, Joseph. Paul warned us not to take or salvation for granted
but to work it with fear and trembling. Even Paul knew we are saved by
grace through faith, but faith is not a switch with on and off options, one
needs to not only keep the faith but also grow in it and that is not easy
so for that works of faith are required with the help of the Holy Spirit.
James says faith alone without works (not works of righteousness but works
of faith) is dead and dead faith cannot save us.

I always remind myself David did not allow the blind and the lame to enter
Zion which symbolizes Kingdom of God. Knowing the truth and walking in it
will not help us enter the Kingdom of God. The virgins with oil in the lamp
had to keep the lamp burning until the coming of the bride, they did not
fill the lamp with oil and wait for the bride to come so as to lite it.

Lord You are Almighty and All Knowing God. Even though You know all things
yet You chose those whom would not enter your Kingdom. Your Word says the
entrance to your Kingdom are narrow, many will come but few will enter.

Stumbling due to lack of truth

John 11:10 But if a man [someone] walks in the night, he stumbleth,
because there is no light in him.

When we read today’s scripture, normally a person thinks it speaks of a
person stumbling (physically) because of lack of light, but when we read
carefully it does not talk of external (natural) light but speaks of light
within, which is truth.

People normally make blunt statements ‘I have Christ in me’, ‘I have the
Holy Spirit in me’ or ‘the truth resides in me’. They do not understand the
day we the fullness of Christ in us we become Sons of God and thus fulfill
the requirement for Christ to come again. Scriptures says God found it
pleasing to dwell only in Jesus Christ in fullness.

Identical twins who look alive and at times think alike, they too are
different in many ways. One will not say he or she knows the other 100% and
can even predict their next move or thought every time.

Knowing the truth is like starting a journey to a destination. The more one
travels in the right direction the more one comes near to know the (whole)
truth and whenever the person moves in the opposite direction the more one
is far from the truth. Truth is not received by just study of scriptures
but more by following of scriptures since it is the Holy Spirit who reveals
the truth to those who follow it and what He reveals is what we share
amongst ourselves. Even though we may share what we have received but that
does not mean that person will know the truth unless that person abides by
it. We read in Romans faith comes by hearing and listening to the Word of
God, faith is nothing but holding on to the truth, since only truth does
not change (God and His Word) holding on to anything thing else is hope and
not faith.

The requirement for us to go to Heaven are the Fruits of Truth and
Righteousness (which Adam and Eve lost and thus were denied access). The
Holy Spirit gives us the Fruit of Truth and on Judgment Day those who have
the truth is them will receive the Fruit of Righteousness from the Son.

Truth is symbolized in the OT by the pomegranate fruit which the Lord
commanded the Israelites to illustrate on the Tabernacle curtains and
Priest robes. The fruit if opens has multiple seedlings which if observed
are unique in shape and thus would not fit in any other place other than
where it was removed from. Also the whole fruits is divide into sections
which are separated by a thin membrane. Truth is to be applied in different
areas of our live, the right area we apply in we find ourselves strong and
thus do not stumble but the areas we do not we stumble.

Stumbling is not exclusive to those little is spirit, no doubt the more we
grow in the Lord (truth) we will stumble less but yet we can stumble and
thus wisdom is in fellowshipping with others mature in spirit so that they
hold us up in areas where we are weak. Also spiritual maturing is in
checking how much we have grown in knowing the Lord (truth) over time, if
we are not growing then we are backsliding and prone to stumble.

Lord You are God and You alone are perfect for You alone are Holy. You Lord
are light and darkness came when some Angels that fell resisted You. Your
Word too is light for it is Truth and it is your Word that becomes the
light within us to overcome the darkness that exist. Lord we pray we
understand the importance of not only studying your Word but following it
with the help of the Holy Spirit so that it becomes light within us. Help
us to grow in all areas so that we do not stumble...

Difference between Human Judgment and God’s Judgment

Mark 15:6 Now at [that] feast he released unto them one prisoner,
whomsoever they desired.

Yesterday a Muslim person (in a Christian FB group) asked, how one man
could wipe away the sins of the many who believe in Him. Since I could not
go into depth I answered him in short how Jesus made peace between God and
man so that we receive His Spirit. It is the Spirit of God who transforms
us and since we are transformed in spirit and no longer the old person
hence we are not liable for the penalty of the old person. God does not
punish those who do not believe in Him, it is their own sins that they
suffer in the prison called Hell. Those who believe and do not transform
(born again in spirit) are the ones who are punished on Judgment Day. They
are punished not for their sins but for rejecting the Will / Word of the
Father and this punishment is worse than those who suffer their sins.

At the end he asked can God be unjust by not punishing people for their
sins!

Today’s shows the Jews had some (four) festivals which were very important
and one amongst them was the Paschal feast and to show sensitivity towards
the Jews the Romans as a custom would release one prisoner, whosoever they
desired. Imagine the prisoner who did some of the greatest crime gets set
free! How would he feel?

People compare this to the situation between Jesus Christ and God the
Father due to which we are set free. This may be the way humans think but
not the way God does.

Firstly God has no agenda to punish sinners like human rulers, He agenda is
to save sinners from suffering what sin would do to them, for it is their
own sins which punishes them. A sinner who is corrupted (not whole) in
spirit cannot dwell before God thus to save the sinner, he needs to be
transformed and made whole. Each one will never be able to become perfect
so God is allowed all as one to be made perfect and what binds them
together is repentance in Christ. So every soul that is in repentance
(change towards good – whatever little it may be) unto his sleep in Christ
is part of the body which is called the Bride of Christ. All this happens
only by the power of the Holy Spirit thus baptism in Jesus Christ and His
Spirit are both essential.

God is truly merciful and is not man to judge sinners. Even on Judgment Day
Christ sits on the Judgment Seat not as God but as Son of Man and for this
as man He had to prove His righteousness. Those who have the Fruit of Truth
in them (which they receive from the Holy Spirit) will be give the Fruit of
Righteousness (the two Fruits Adam and Eve lost and thus were deprived
access to Heaven) and thus allowed to enter Heaven so to have access to the
Tree / River of Life so as to enjoy eternal life.

Lord You are Almighty God and You are Merciful God. You are always the
same. It is in your mercy that You removed man from access to Heaven so
that he does not perish due to his corruption before You. You made a way
for man to be restored of this corruption and become whole by your Spirit
for which a part of You as man had to pay a price so as the make peace
between You and man. Lord may we truly understand the sacrifice of Christ
and the importance of the Holy Spirit. May we understand unless we are not
transformed from within by the Fruit of Truth which we receive from the
Spirit of Truth we will not be able to enter Heaven...

Right Interpretation of Scriptures is Very Important

Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt
thou be with me in paradise.

Biblical language study is very critical for understanding of scriptures.
Along with biblical languages study we also need to do cross reference
study. In both Hebrew and Greek languages many a times a word or its
grammar can be rendered in multiple ways so its meanings can differentiate,
at times the difference is so large that it can results in opposite of the
truth thus it is only through cross reference we can confirm the right
understanding.

Today’s scripture is one amongst the most misunderstood scriptures. The
misinterpretation of one single word ‘today’ of this scripture has caused
many to be misled in the Kingdom of God.

In English we have the word ‘today’ but in languages like Greek the word
‘semeron’ means ‘this day’, ‘that day’, ‘which day’. If we look the context
of the discussion and confirm it with other scriptures we will understand
the right meaning of this word.

In the scripture we read about the conversation between the two criminals
crucified on the either sides of Jesus, the one on the left mocks Jesus
while the one of the right condemns him and then speaks to Jesus saying
‘Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom’ and to this Jesus
says “símeron met᾽ emoú ési en tó paradeíso” and this scripture can be
translated as ‘to day shalt thou be with me in paradise’ only of Jesus
ascended that day to Paradise/Heaven (the word Paradise means garden and
refers to Garden of Eden which is on Heaven). If we read John 20:17 Jesus
on the third day when He resurrected tells Mary Magdalene not to touch Him
because He has yet not ascended to the Father, but later on the eight day
He allows Thomas to touch Him. Peter too confirms in his letter Jesus went
to Hell / prison after His crucifixion and preached there to the souls
after His death.

Today most Preachers are misled that on the death of a Believer the person
immediately ascends to Heaven. We also have many misleading people sharing
testimonies of their spirit visiting Heaven and returning back to the body.
They do this also because of their misunderstanding of Paul sharing of his
revelation of seeing Heaven, where it seem so real that he got confused for
a moment that he had physically visited it. In his later letters to
Corinth, Romans and Thessalonians he does confirm all of us will stand
before the Judgment Seat when Christ comes again.

Jesus Himself says in Gospel of John that the Father chose Him to sit on
the Judgment Seat because He is the Son of Man (God does not judge us but
His Righteous One does) and this He would do on Judgment Day when He comes
again with His Angels/Saints.

Let us go by scriptures alone and study them ourselves then to follow what
people say about it. Paul considered the people of Berea mature thus did
not write any letter of instructions to them because they did not accept
anything and everything Paul told them but confirmed it with scriptures.

Believing fables

2 Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and
shall be turned unto fables.

Today’s message talks of people believing not the truth but fables. When we
think of believing fables we think this pertains to only pagan beliefs and
not to Christianity.

The Greek word fable comes from the root word ‘mysteries’ or ‘hidden
things’.

Yesterday I was talking to some Catholics who were confident of going to
Heaven. I asked what gave them the confidence and they said it is because
they believed in Jesus Christ and they did what He Commanded. When I asked
what is that He Commanded and they said to carry His cross daily. I was
taken back so at their answer (mind you I was talking to teenagers) so I
asked what they understood by the term cross and they said suffering, pain
and persecution!

Amongst Christians also we have fables believing stories made by man due to
our ignorance of scriptures. The Greek word for ‘cross’ comes from the root
word ‘cause’ and thus when Jesus said ‘take up your cross and follow me’,
it did not mean suffering due to sickness, pain in relationships caused due
to misunderstandings or hurts due to our ego etc. He said daily taking the
mission He gave us which is to reach out to the lost, teaching them the
Word and making them disciples for Christ so as to do what we do and what
Christ did.

If one scrutinizes every area of our so called Church beliefs and
traditions, one will find lots and lots of fables. One wonders how did
these come into the Christian belief system and who would think of doing
such a think?

Today’s message Paul warned Timothy long back about people not enduring the
truth so they would add fables. Paul was not talking of non-Christians to
Timothy but of Christians. Paul was not talking of end days but about the
near future.

Since 300AD we had a tsunami of fables ignited under ‘Christian’ banner and
many of them found their way into the main stream ‘Christian’ belief
system. Even after the ‘Reformation’ movement still a large amount of
fables still continues. So like Paul advised Timothy, let us harken to the
advice, let us test every belief even if we are afflicted for it and all
what we preach let us give a proof of it both scripturally and life example..

Lord desire man also to be holy, righteous and filled with the truth. It is
only when we are in You and You in us that we will know the truth, received

Cleansing before breaking of bread

John 11:55 And the Jews’ passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of
the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.

We know Jesus broke bread at the Last Supper was a celebration of the Feast
of Unleavened Bread. In the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke it is
mentioned as ‘Passover Week’ or simply ‘Passover’ but in John we read it as
the ‘Jew’s Passover’.

According to the book(s) of Moses the Lord had instructed the Israelites to
celebrate the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month (since they
followed the moon cycle it always coincided with the week - approximate 28
days). The feast was of 6 days and started in the evening of the previous
Sabbath. On that day they bought a lamb of 1 year into the house (they
could chose a young of a goat or older depending on size of the household)
but one thing they would make sure is that the lamb/goat had no blemish and
for this they would monitor the animal for 5 days. It was on the fifth day
they would kill the animal and eat it with bitter herbs. The next day was a
High Sabbath followed by the regular Sabbath (Jesus fulfilled this since He
was arrested on Sat evening and killed on Thursday evening).

It was after the Passover that they would celebrate a week of the Feast of
Unleavened Bread. During that week they were allowed neither to consume nor
keep leaven in the house. Even the wine was unfermented thus simple grape
juice.

During the exile of Israel in Babylon due to restrictions the Jews
overlapped both these weeks and celebrated them together and thus we see
John’s Gospel states it as Jew’s Passover and not as the Lord’s Passover.

Today’s scripture also points to the fact that they had to cleanse
themselves by asking the Lord forgiveness before celebrating the Passover
and for that they would go to the High Priest who would prayer over them
and intercede for forgiveness on their behalf. For forgiveness one was
advised to reconcile with the person sinned against, going to the priest
for forgiveness was the last option given by the Lord since the people were
far for God (Catholics have bypassed all the steps in between with their
‘Sacrament of Confession’, it also confirms they are far from God). Jesus
being ‘Son of God’ (not to confused with ‘God the Son’ which also He was)
had the authority to forgive sins and gave this authority to His disciples
who are called to be Sons of God. So now any man or woman in Christ can
forgive sins on behalf of the Lord.

In the OT the sacrifice was made after the sins were forgiven, while in NT
we see the sins were forgiven first and then the sacrifice made. The change
between the two situations was the presence of truth and faith. In the OT
the truth was hidden from almost all but in the NT with the coming of
Christ truth was revealed through the Holy Spirit thus faith was possible
(faith means believing in the truth - Jesus said ‘I am the Truth’). So we
see Jesus did not break the Law by celebrating the Feast of Unleavened
Bread with His disciples before the Passover (where He was the Paschal
Lamb). What is also important to understand is Jesus fulfilled the process
of forgiveness of sins of gilt by washing of the feet of His disciples as
He broke bread with them thus preparing them to receive the Paschal Lamb.

Every time we break bread let us understand how privileged we are to
celebrate the Lord’s Supper (the Feast of Unleavened Bread) and to receive
the Paschal Lamb. Let us also not mock this privilege by receiving it in an
unworthy manner. Let us respect these emblems which manifest in the Spirit.

In an emblem some things can be changed but some things cannot be changed.
Like any national emblem the size is not fixed but shape, design and color
are fixed, changing anyone of them would cause the emblem to not represent
that country. So also is with the bread at Lord’s Table, it was unleavened
bread and not leavened bread, or wafer, or oiled cake (like Indian roti).

Lord You are Almighty God. You are Holy God and no being that is corrupted
by sin of otherwise can dwell before You. Lord we thank You that we can
come in your presence even though we are still corrupt because You have
humbled yourself for our sake. Lord we pray we also understand we need to
be transformed in spirit because You will return to your glory and thus we
would need to be free of corruption. We pray we respect the emblem of bread
broken at your table, which is for forgiveness of our sins of guilt...

 No sense of time?

John 16:16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little
while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

One will find almost every second Preacher preaching about Jesus coming
again soon like in a year or two and this has been going on since hundreds
of years. Cults like Jehovah’s Witnesses have been formed on these false
alarms and even though their founders’ given dates failed time and again
yet the members continue to follow them.

Today’s message talks of Jesus’ death and resurrection where He was not
visible for 2 and half day. After that for almost 40days He was present
with His disciples before ascending to the Heaven. Bible says when He
ascended to Heaven after 40days an Angels saying ‘He will come again as He
left’, that means as a man. Before in between He had ascended to the Father
because immediately on His resurrection He forbids Mary Magdalene from
touching Him since He had not ascended to the Father but later in the
evening He allows His disciples like Thomas to touch Him. The completion of
the sacrifices was done only in the Holy of Holies.

Jesus said no being (man or Angels) including Himself knew the day He will
come again (Judgment Day) other than God (the Father). He said this even
though He had claimed He and Father are one and He was God the Son. He was
not lying on both factors because at the current state He had humbled
Himself and was mere man and all He knew was from scriptures. When He
returns to the Father He will be restored of His glory and will become one
with the Father from whom He came. His coming again thus has to be only
after the completion of His work (salvation of man), fulfilment of the Word
(every prophecy) and crushing of Satan (man overcoming evil).

Yesterday someone had posted on FB a young girl claiming to been told by
the Lord that Jesus would come soon. Let us not be taken by false preaching
and people ignorant of scriptures, they only cause distraction and delay in
doing our job and thus actually try to delay the coming of Christ. If we
really desire Him to come soon let us fulfil at least one of the conditions
that is to preach the Gospel to the ends of the world. Also let us be
prepared for His coming because anytime we sleep, we will rise on His
coming again to stand before Him and that would be like just a moment.

hidden from You. You love man thus await man to overcome darkness before
fulfilment of punishment of those in darkness. Lord we pray we do not get

The Three and The Four Lies of Judah

Amos 2:4 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for
four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they have
despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their
lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:

Yesterday we saw about symbolism of the snake and of rain today’s scripture
uses Bible numeric as symbolism. Three symbolizes wholeness of God
(Godhead) and four symbolizes earth or this creation. Israel symbolizes
Sons/Princes of the Lord and Judah the people of God (the flock – including
sheep and goats).

Today’s message speaks of the lies of Judah which their fathers too
followed. The ‘three lies’ refer to spiritual beliefs/traditions and ‘four
lies’ refer to worldly beliefs/traditions which the people of God and their
fathers followed in His name.

Yesterday I saw a video of a couple preaching to God’s people and what they
spoke had nothing to do with God, His Word or His Kingdom. They only were
taking the name of the Lord and praising people and buttering them up to
believe they will be blessed in worldly riches. Worldly riches are not evil
but are a test to those who have it and this test has cause many to fall;
very, very few have managed riches and remained in the Lord.

Today’s message says the Lord will bring fire on His people because of
their beliefs. So let us cleanse ourselves of wrong beliefs that we carry
thinking we are following the Lord instructions. The only reason we fall in
this trap is because we do not test everything we believe with the Word of
God. Discernment is like teeth and eating without discerning is like
swallowing everything we consume. If the things are small and easy
digestible it may not harm us, but many things will harm us either
immediately or on the long run.

children is not a concerned father. Lord in this chastising help us to see

Speaking to the rich

John 8:20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the
temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

In today’s message we read of Jesus sharing with the Jews in the treasury
where ‘free will’ offerings were given. This was over the ‘tithe’ which the
Jews gave.

The statutes of tithe (10 percent) instructed by the Lord is not understood
even today amongst Christians and amongst the Jews it is a law, like paying
tax to a government, which will cause the authority to take action if not
paid or venerated if more is given.

Many Catholics do not become ‘Protestants’ and at times revert back to
Catholicism because of tithes. Over and above tithes the ‘Protestant’
Church collects ‘free will’ offering which indirectly is to bribe God so
that they receive ‘hundred folds’ / ‘thousand folds’ from Him. Some of the
scriptures that they (mis)quote for this are Luke 6:38 which actually talks
of forgiveness and they interpret it as monetary blessing, Malachi 3:10
which talks of supporting expansion of God’s Kingdom and God will bless
them spiritual (‘meat in my house’) and they interpret it as ‘food/money in
their house’.

People give to the Lord out of greed, the very thing the concept of tithe
is designed by the Lord to overcome. People use the Lord to worship their
worldly lord (carnal self). Riches is not evil but a danger to the soul for
it puts the soul to great tests, on the other hand Christians are not
called to be poor. A Christian is in need because he or she does not know
God and is rich because he or she uses God to worship their worldly god. We
are called to give all that is over our needs to those who are in need. Our
needs may vary according to the purpose of God in our lives and there is a
fine line between wants and needs.

Greed for both material and spiritual things can destroy a person since it
was the first vice that bought down the high Cherub (Lucifer). Not only
worldly riches but even spiritual gifts if sought without purpose to serve
God and His Kingdom can become a cause of disaster instead of blessing.

Today the Lord is talking to those who are worldly blessed and also those
who are spiritually blessed and are not using their blessing to serve the
Kingdom of God, the Lord is telling them they do not know Him and thus will
die in their sins.

Lord You are God and Creator of all things. The Heavens are a place of
abundance and everything is always available thus called a banquet yet
Lucifer took more than and he needed and thus pride and other vices came
into him which bought darkness. Lord we pray we who are made to overcome
that darkness may not fall into that same trap of greed and may know the
purpose of giving. We pray we live a sober life and everything we seek
would be for the reason to serve You and your people...

Divinity or Man

Mark 14: 13 And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto
them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher
of water: follow him.

There are some incidents like today’s message that cause people to believe
Jesus as man did possess divine powers (100% God and 100% Man).

Bible says God the Son He humbled Himself and became man, humbling meant He
gave up His glory which meant His divine powers and His divine identity. A
scripture goes to the extent to say He emptied Himself. That does not mean
He become zero for He did not give up His Nature (Father’s Name) and
manifested the Nature/Name so that we know the Father by knowing Him.

As man Jesus was 100percent man, the only thing divine of Him was the
Nature/Name of the Father and by which He said He protects His people. We
have protection/power in the Name / Nature of Jesus / Father, that means
not by speaking the word ‘Jesus’, ‘Iesus’, ‘Joshua’ or ‘Yeshua’, but by
knowing Him and seeking to follow Him.

Jesus as man was totally man thus what all He did as man is what we too can
do. Today’s message shows ‘Word of Knowledge’ or simply ‘Prompting of the
Holy Spirit’ and this is something everyone baptized in the Holy Spirit can
do, it should not be mistaken with Prophesy. Prophesy is always connected
to the Word and since the Word of God is complete what we prophesy is
simply speaking the Word at its appropriate time into our lives, the life
of a specific person or mankind as whole. Word of Knowledge on the other
hand is what is specific to a person, place, time or incident and is just
speaking out what the Lord tells us via dreams, visions, whisper or
thoughts and is not connected to salvation of man.

The Holy Spirit is continually speaking to us and the problem is we are not
tuned to His Voice. Life will not be a surprise if we are in tuned to the
Holy Spirit. It is our worldly desires, our faithlessness, our vices, in
other words our negative things that hinder us from hearing His Voice.

I can share a lot on this because there was time in my life when I was
absolute focused, and during that period I could literately know many
things beforehand not only in my life but also the life of others connected
to me or my ministry (which ever part of the world they were). Anything
that was important was shown to me via dreams or visions and I was always
prepared, so much so I knew at times the darker sides of the life of those
who call themselves Men of God and when I corrected them, it would rattle
them wondering why God would expose them. God exposed these things not to
shame them but for me to learn things of the Kingdom of God which were
hidden.

Today how many Men / Women of God do we fear when we meet them or connect
with them? What ‘Word of Knowledge’ we find them sharing is not even
peanuts or minuscule. If there was even one true Man/Woman of God amongst
us, he or she would change all those connected to him or her and bring the
fear of God upon them and this shows the sad state of affairs in the Church..

Lord You are Almighty and All Knowing God. Time and place is not a factor
to You for You are Spirit and You are both Omnipresent and Omnipotent. We
pray we learn to hear the Voice of your Spirit. Help us to live a sober
life void of carnal desires and focused on to your Kingdom...

Father’s love

Luke 11: 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will
he give him a stone? or if [he ask] a fish, will he for a fish give him a
serpent?

When it comes to love the world shows the mother as a personification of
love but when it comes to the Bible we find it is not the mother but the
father who is an example of love. Like in today’s message when Jesus wanted
show an example to love He chose the father and son relationship, not
mother and son.

In Hebrew the word for father is ‘ab’ and for love is ‘ahab’, without
father love cannot be understood. The worlds were created due to the love
of a Father. God is called ‘El Shaddai’ translated as ‘Almighty God’ but in
reality means ‘Strong Breasted One’ and depicts God giving the love of a
mother also yet God prefers to be called ‘Father’ and not ‘Mother’.

Mothers always speak about carrying the infant in their womb for nine
months but they do not realize the child was as a seed in the father from
the beginning before it took form in the flesh in the womb of the mother.
It was for this reason when generations were to be blessed it was the
father who was blessed. The pain that a mother goes through during labor of
delivering her infant or bringing up her children is mainly due to the
curse that was on Eve (women) and is broken when one claims it in Christ
who broke our curses by making peace between God and man.

I am not against mothers but would like to bring forth facts since the
world has failed to give credit to the fathers.

We need to distinguish between earthly fathers and spiritual Father. In the
Bible even elders were called fathers but they were not spiritual fathers.
One can have spiritual children but not a spiritual father (or mother).
There is only one spiritual father and that is God (Godhead). In Greek the
word father ‘pater’ means creator, protector and provider thus Jesus said
call no man your Father other than the Heavenly Father. We come from the
loins of our fathers yet they did not create us, they simply carried us;
the same with our mothers, we were born as humans in the womb of our
mothers yet she did not create us, she just carried us. Our parents work to
provide and protect us yet they are simply vessels and God is the real
provider and protector.

Let us understand love without Father is never understood. We may
understand worldly love through our mothers but not true love.

Lord You are our Father. You created us, You provide for us and You protect
us. We were created in the beginning and were carried in the loins of our
fathers, we took form in the flesh in the wombs of our mothers, they give
us love yet true love comes only from You. You Lord came in the flesh and
manifested love. We pray we give due acknowledgement to our earthly fathers
who represent You in our lives. May we understand his love like we know the
love of our mothers...

All Earthly Relationships End Here

Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor
are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

When I hear senior Church leaders stating at funerals especially or
otherwise how families will be united in Heaven, how husband will be united
with his wife, son with his father, daughter with mother etc. I feel sad as
to how little they know about the Kingdom of God.

At a Church service I asked the congregation as to who all will dwell with
them in their Heavenly cottage, they immediately jumped to answer ‘family’.
When I asked to elaborate as to who they took a name or two and then
realized what I was getting them to understand. It was then they realized
Heaven has nothing to do with our earthly family or relationships, our
Heavenly family is different and no person in Heaven would be anyone’s
father, mother, husband, wife etc... We also will not be sons and daughter
but will be simply Sons of God for we will be (like) Angels who have no
natural gender.

Angels are spirit beings and do not have flesh like man although they can
take form of man in the flesh. Angels appear as beings of light and since
they also made in the image of God (thus called Sons of God) but unlike man
did not corrupt themselves thus have somewhat bodyline form of man (with a
little variation). Spirit beings are not governed by natural forces like
gravity, distance, volume, earthly time, direction etc. thus may seem like
flying and appear in various sizes.

Heaven is not an earthly resort and they description given in the Bible is
symbolic. We who will dwell there after Judgment Day will not have a body
of flesh and the renewed body that the Bible speaks of is a spiritual body
which is our inner-man since it is the shape and form of our spirit being
and the beauty of it is defined by the Fruits of the Spirit.

Lord You are Almighty God. You dwell in the Highest Heavens thus called the
Mountains of Zion. Lord we pray your people overcome the natural mind and
thinking so that they see the beauty of your Kingdom. Let not the temporary
earthly things, desires and relationships hold us back from entering your
Kingdom. Help us see and reach out to our Heavenly family...

Jezreel – the Lord Sows

Hosea 2:22 And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil;
and they shall hear Jezreel {Lord sows}.

Today’s message talks of the time (after Christ) when the Lord accepts the
people other than Israelites as His people and He manifests His glory
amongst them.

What we read in today message it speaks of 3 things which will get
manifested amongst His people, the word used here is corn, wine and oil.
These are natural things and the scripture says these come via the Heavens
so we need to understand the spiritual understanding of these words.

In Hebrew these words have a root meaning/symbolism which gives the true
understanding of this scripture.

Corn – comes from the root meaning ‘multiplication’ or ‘increase’.
Wine – comes from the root meaning ‘inherit’ or ‘take possession of’
Oil – symbolizes testimony

The Hebrew word for Olive means ‘brightness’ and olive tree symbolizes
God’s people so olive oil their testimony (fig tree symbolizes worldly
people). When Jesus/Paul/James said anoint people with (olive) oil and pray
over them they actually meant to share testimonies of God’s favors before
praying over them but many Church leaders foolishly sell/use bottled oil
for anointing.

Today’s message tells us the Lord had promised a multiplication of
spiritual gifting (like blessings and gifts of the Spirit) so we should see
greater Prophets, Teachers, Healers, Evangelists etc... The scripture also
says we have being promised inheritance of God’s Kingdom and if we are
inheritors of a greater Kingdom than our lives here should not be of
problems or discomfort. Problems may try to disturb us since this world
hates God but we will not be disturbed by them. The scripture goes on to
say we will be blessed with testimonies. The scripture ends with the term
Jerzeel which means ‘God sows’.

Today’s message says we do not truly say God sows in our lives because we
have not experienced His multiplication (corn), His inheritance (wine) and
His testimonies (oil) in our lives. God’s Word is eternal and true so the
problem is not with God doing something. He has already done it all for us
from the beginning, what stops it from manifesting in our lives is us. It
is our faithlessness, our disobedience, our lethargic life and our
spiritual blindness.

Let us open our spiritual eyes and get our act together so that we see the
manifestation of God’s promise in our lives; we will be blessed with corn,
wine and oil.

Lord You are Almighty God. You and your Word is true and eternal. You do
not change nor does your Word change. We pray Lord we may see the
manifestation of your promise in our lives, may we remove the hindrances we
have put into our lives that stops us from receiving. We pray our eyes be
