 Drag Queen Story Hour For Children Comes To Church

Pastor Aaron Musser of St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Logan Square in Chicago recently dressed in full drag for the Sunday service, wearing a long white dress emblazoned with a golden cross on its chest, a long blonde wig, and full makeup in order to lead the children's message.

The pastor began the message by calling the children up to the front to sit with him and asked if they'd ever seen a drag queen before.

The kids responded in the negative.

"I have an awesome story to share with you today," Musser said. "I am also a boy most of the time when I'm here, but today, I'm a girl."

His message to the children was clearly not your typical children's Bible story, but an agenda to indoctrinate vulnerable children with his Queer Theology.

Musser's actions while shocking to some are part of a long established trend of LGBT activists that have infiltrated the church, including it's leadership.

 

At the forefront of this push has been the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) which has taken more steps to promote Queer & Progressive Theology than possibly any other denomination.  

In September of last year it appointed it's first openly transgender bishop, The Rev. Megan Rohrer to lead one of the church's synods, which means she will have direct leadership over 200 congregations.

With her appointment it was announced that the bishop should be addressed with the pronouns "they/their".

Rohr was the first transgender person to be ordained by the ELCA in 2006 and now makes "history", the pro-LGBT group Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries said. "We anticipate the day when all queer ministry leaders will be called to ministry settings without hindrance or barrier and will be affirmed in their God-given calls".

According to this group, there are already over 400 queer ministers in the ELCA at this point.

The ELCA is known for its strong theological shift in the last 15 years towards an "inclusive" theology, except when it comes to Israel.

Last year the Danish Bible Society, which is also run by the Evangelical Lutheran Church, came under heavy fire for the Danish "translation" of the Bible that virtually wipes out "Israel" from the New Testament.

In the Greek New Testament, the word "Israel" occurs more than 60 times. However, it is found only once in the new Danish version called Bibelen 2020. That's right, just once. And that one occurrence is a direct quote from an Old Testament verse. Otherwise, "Israel" is gone.

The reason for this, the society argues, is that Christian readers must not connect "Israel" in the New Testament with the nation of Israel today.  The ELCA has long promoted the idea of "replacement theology", also called supersessionism, which essentially teaches that the church has replaced Israel in God's plan. Adherents of replacement theology believe the Jews are no longer God's chosen people, and God does not have specific future plans for the nation of Israel.

The presiding "bishop" of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, The Rev. Elizabeth Eaton, has also expressed her belief that although Hell may exist, it is entirely empty because "God doesn't give up on those who reject Him."

Two years ago, over 30,000 ELCA teenagers attended the ELCA's national youth gathering.  Popular ELCA pastor Nadia Bolz-Webber (who loves to swear during her sermons and tells her congregants that there is nothing wrong with porn) led the students to say after her "I renounce the lie that queerness is anything other than beauty".  

At the youth gathering an 11-year-old boy who thinks he is a girl was put on stage to promote transgenderism.

This past summer the ELCA in convention passed an interfaith resolution stating that we do not know what God thinks of non-Christian religions.  A delegate got to the microphone to offer an amendment, saying that we do know because John 14:6 says that Jesus is the only way of salvation.  His amendment was voted down by 97 percent.

The church also raised some red flags with its promotion of praying by addressing God as "Mother" instead of Father on its official Facebook page as well as via Twitter:

"Mother God, you have fed us with the nourishment of your spiritual food. Raise us up into salvation and rid us of our bitterness, so that we may share the sweetness of your holy word with all the world," the ELCA tweeted as part of their #Bread4theday series of Twitter posts.

The tweet has gotten a fair amount of negative attention. Hans Fiene, a conservative pastor who oversees the popular Lutheran Satire YouTube channel, responded with a simple message to people who still value Biblical literacy:

"Leave the ELCA," he succinctly replied when retweeting the ELCA post.

I expect 2022 to be a very turbulent year, with many longing for the good old days of 2021. Regardless of what the world throws at us, just remember that the Bible has foretold us that in the last days, perilous times would come. In a rather bizarre move, NASA has recruited a British priest to prepare the religious for the discovery of alien life as space agencies claim to be getting closer to discovering evidence that life exists outside of planet earth reports The Times.

Reverend Dr. Andrew Davison, a priest and theology professor at the University of Cambridge, is among 24 theologians who are participating in a program sponsored by NASA at the space agency's Center for Theological Inquiry (CTI) at Princeton University. 

The theologians are attempting to assess how major religions would react to news of alien life being found.

The appointment comes as NASA's $10 billion James Webb Space Telescope blasted into space on Christmas day.

The vessel will implement cutting-edge technology to examine every phase of cosmic history inside the solar system to the most distant observable galaxies in the early universe.

The device, which features infrared capabilities, will study a wide array of scientific questions to help mankind better understand the "origins of the universe and humans' place in it."

One NASA expert said, "We may not discover life for 100 years. Or we may discover it next week."

Davidson seeks to answer theological questions such as whether or not God made life in other parts of the universe and if he sent a savior to die for the sins of aliens.

Another question the British priest seeks to tackle is if discovering extraterrestrial life will require religions to rewrite the entire story of creation in Genesis.

Davison applied for the role after debating these questions with his theology students.

Davison spent an academic year at Princeton University in 2016 in a $1.1 million program sponsored by NASA, called: The Societal Implications of Astrobiology.

CTI head Will Storrar said that Nasa wanted to see "serious scholarship being published in books and journals" addressing the "profound wonder and mystery and implication of finding microbial life on another planet".

According to Davison's book, the world's major religions would take the news of an alien discovery "in their stride."

The Top 3 Prophetic News Headlines Of 2021

The number one sign of the Second Coming is the convergence of all the signs Jesus and the prophets said to look for. Jesus said, "When you see all these things take place, look up! Your salvation draws near" (Luke 21:28). What are the things Jesus and the prophets said to look for? Israel back in the land (Jeremiah 23:7-8)... The Jewish people back in control of Jerusalem (Luke 21:24)... The Gospel being preached to the whole world (Matthew 24:14)... And more. 
Today, we see these signs. Because we do, we can be confident we live in the season of His return. But Jesus cited other signs too. So did the prophets. And we see those signs as well. As 2021 draws to a close, what were the biggest prophetic news stories? Below is a list of what I believe were the top three:

1) Big Tech Censorship

For much of its existence, Google promoted the corporate motto "Don't be evil." Following its corporate restructuring under the banner of Alphabet Inc. in 2015, the company changed its motto to "Do the right thing." The people who built Google probably viewed consumer privacy violations, corporate-government censorship, and data manipulation in pursuit of a social or political agenda as evil. But for today's crop of Google employees? It's all part of "doing the right thing."

As people become more reliant on smart devices and the Internet for daily living, the power of Big Tech companies like Google has grown exponentially. These companies have the power to control the news and information flow for billions of people. This hasn't gone unnoticed by power hungry politicians across the globe. They long to wield this power for their own benefit. 

 

Unfortunately, Big Tech has been more than willing to help. For example, back in July, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki announced White House officials were "meeting with social media platforms" and had "increased disinformation research and tracking." She said the administration was "flagging problematic posts from Facebook that spread disinformation" and working to "connect doctors and medical professionals who are popular with their audiences with accurate information" so as to "boost trusted content."

The U.S. Surgeon General followed with his own lecture on the dangers of free thought. According to Dr. Vivek Murthy, "We live in a world where misinformation poses an imminent and insidious threat to our nation's health. Health misinformation is false, inaccurate, or misleading information about health according to the best evidence of the time. And while it often appears innocuous on social media apps, on retail sites or search engines, the truth is that misinformation takes away our freedom to make informed decisions about our health and the health of our loved ones." 

Think about that. The Surgeon General thinks if you have access to uncensored information, it takes away your freedom. Only in a dystopian 1984 society does an assertion like that make any sense.

In the same month, Politico reported "Biden allied groups, including the Democratic National Committee, are also planning to engage fact-checkers more aggressively and work with SMS carriers to dispel misinformation about vaccines that is sent over social media and text messages." 

This means government authorities might "fact-check" future private text messages between you and your friends. Imagine being in the middle of a phone call with a friend, and the government cuts off your call because the two of you are discussing "disinformation." Most people would be outraged. Yet, that's exactly what the government is doing with this social media disinformation censorship campaign.

All this is a threat to human freedom and liberty. In an age when social media dominates public discourse, access to these platforms is vital to get a message out. Don't believe me? Try getting your message out to a large audience without using Facebook, Twitter, Google, Apple, Amazon, YouTube, or Netflix. It's nearly impossible. If they can de-platform the sitting President of the United States (which they did to Donald Trump), then they can de-platform you as well.

We now live in a world where the largest technology firms have more power than most totalitarian governments had in bygone eras. Since the police power of government rules over these Big Tech companies, that means governments around the world are now more powerful than they've ever been. The power and reach of Big Tech is global in nature, and they've shown their willingness to use this power to silence you.

In 2021, Big Tech continued to cancel people and organizations deemed "dangerous" or not sufficiently "woke." YouTube channels were demonized, demonetized, and shut down. Twitter and Facebook accounts were suspended. Hosting companies dropped websites, and businesses were frozen out of using PayPal, Visa, and MasterCard. 

As technology continues to advance, every aspect of human life becomes reliant on and intertwined with digital payments and the Internet. If access to those utilities is cut off, an individual's ability to participate in modern day society is also cut off. This means large corporations (and governments by default) can cut you off from society for any reason. 

And they can do so without due process, a trial, or the ability to defend yourself. If large corporations "cancel" you and refuse to provide you with basic services, how can you exist in the modern world? You can't. At least, not as effectively as before. Big Tech now has the power to cancel people. The power of Big Tech sets the stage for the Antichrist to control all buy/sell transactions on the planet (Revelation 13:17) and to determine at his whim who can or cannot participate in modern society.

2) The Broken Global Supply Chain

The spread of COVID-19 in early 2020 marked the beginning of a global supply chain crisis. That crisis continued throughout all of 2021. The most recent example of the broken supply chain showed up in the form of shipping problems at U.S. ports. For example, on November 11, a record 111 container ships were anchored off the coast of two California ports. This broke the previous record set just 20 days earlier. 

In response, Joe Biden promised to strengthen the resiliency of the supply chain by moving to 24/7 operations at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. He was concerned about the Christmas shopping season and public opinion in an era of product shortages and rising inflation. But this is a much more complex issue. The problems involving bottlenecks in these ports are a symptom of a larger systemic breakdown - a breakdown that threatens to collapse the entire global economic system.

Despite the optimistic forecasts of politicians, the broken supply chain didn't repair itself in 2021, and it won't be fixed in 2022 either. 24/7 port operations won't fix the problem. Containers cover every square inch of the ports in Los Angeles and Long Beach. Before new containers can be offloaded from ships, trucks and trains need to move the existing containers to new locations. The nationwide shortage of truck drivers makes that a tall order. 

In 2021, the problem wasn't confined to California ports alone. Supply chain problems and shortages plagued almost every industry and factory in the world, covering a wide range of products such as bacon, semiconductors, toilet paper, aluminum, pet food, juice boxes, and a host of other items.

When COVID first struck, the global economy came to an abrupt halt. In 2021, we experienced the trauma from that high speed crash - and the damage was massive. The sudden collapse in global demand led to negative oil futures prices in April 2020. This caused energy producers around the world to cap production. Demand returned in 2021, and producers couldn't simply increase production overnight. As a result, demand increased much faster than supply.

Natural gas prices in Europe tripled in five months. European natural gas is now ten times more expensive than in the United States. European natural gas storage capacity is at a historically low level going into the winter months. Meanwhile, much of Europe is now hostage to Vladimir Putin as they've allowed themselves to become dependent on Russian energy supplies. 

In China, coal (which generates 50% of the nation's electricity) is becoming harder and harder to source. These higher energy prices mean higher costs for businesses and consumers. It also means energy shortages and rolling blackouts. These energy disruptions then result in additional production shutdowns and manufacturing bottlenecks, further compounding global supply chain problems. And that's where we find ourselves at the end of 2021.

3) Loss of Liberty

If you love freedom and liberty, 2021 was not your year. Many Western nations which traditionally espouse individual freedom and liberty either took steps down the road to totalitarianism or transformed into outright police states. While the list of such nations is long (United States, United Kingdom, France, Canada, New Zealand, etc.), none provides a better example of this transformation than Australia. 

In 2021, Australia descended into a police state. In September, the government of South Australia rolled out a new app requiring citizens to take a photo of themselves and report their location on demand within 15 minutes of a government request. Also in September, Australian MP Daniel Andrews vowed to "lock out" the unvaccinated in regard to medical care and conducting commerce. 

 

Also in 2021, "Centres for National Resilience" appeared in Australia. These are quarantine centers that could be more accurately labeled as prisons. Those who test positive for COVID (as well as any of their "close contacts") are rounded up and forcibly confined to these camps. Earlier this month, three teenagers escaped from one of these facilities. Their escape launched a full-blown manhunt complete with roadblocks and police officers randomly searching vehicles. Barring a revolutionary pushback, Australia is lost.

Austria isn't far behind. In November, the European nation announced mandatory vaccinations. Germany quickly stated its intent to follow in Austria's footsteps. In countries around the world, society is singling out the unvaccinated for punishment. In addition to vaccine mandates, many nations, states, and cities have implemented vaccine passport systems. Those who refuse the COVID vaccines face potential loss of jobs, healthcare, freedom of movement, and liberty in general. The purpose is to ostracize the unvaccinated from society - to apply maximum pressure and coerce the unvaccinated into compliance.

Does any of this sound familiar? It should. The Book of Revelation describes a similar system whereby the people of the world are forced to receive a mark on their right hand or forehead. Those who refuse to comply will be unable to buy or sell. They'll effectively be cut off from society. Vaccine mandates and passports create the same type of system. They create a social system enabling the mark of the beast. I don't believe vaccine passports are the mark of the beast. However, if they are allowed to stand, they will create a system indistinguishable from the actual mark of the beast. This will pave the way for the rise of the Antichrist and a global dictatorship.

What to Look for in 2022

Hopefully, Jesus will return in the last few days of 2021. But regardless, expect these same trends to continue in 2022. Look for Big Tech to continue its crackdown on any ideas which run counter to the official government narrative. Look for global supply chain problems to get worse. Most of all, look for governments around the world to use every new COVID variant as a convenient excuse to trample freedom and liberty and seize ever greater amounts of power. 

Combine these developments with countless others foretold in the Bible, and we can know the rapture, the Tribulation, and the Second Coming are now closer than they've ever been before. This is why the #1 event you should focus on in 2022 is the return of our Savior. As we enter a new year, all the signs tell us, "Jesus is coming!"

Israel Prepares For Possible Backroom Betrayal In US-Iran Talks

It's a classic case of good news and bad news. The good news refers to reports that the United States appears to be backing off on its plans to reopen the Jerusalem consulate to the Palestinians that was shuttered when former President Donald Trump moved the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to the Israeli capital in 2018. 

The bad news is that if that is true, it may be more a function of the Americans realizing that it's not in their interests to be fighting the Israeli government on two fronts rather than just one. Meaning, if President Joe Biden is, at least for now, not going to make good on his promise to the Palestinian Authority to compromise Israeli sovereignty over its capital, it's because he is preparing for a major fracas with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett over the Iran nuclear threat.

The problem with monitoring the U.S.-Israel relationship these days is that while some of the action is out in the open, the most important things happening are most likely going on behind the scenes. That's par for the course in international diplomacy.

President Biden's multi-trillion dollar "Build Back Better" is garnering pushback from religious groups as it becomes clear that the benefits slated to help preschool children come with strings attached: in order to access the federal funding, the daycare programs must include LGBT indoctrination.

The White House's "Fact Sheet" claims that the program will provide universal preschool:

"President Biden's plan offers access to free preschool for all 3- and 4-year old children, providing parents access to high-quality programs in the setting of their choice, from schools to child care providers and community-based organizations to Head Start."
Critics of the bill say, that faith-based facilities that affirm biblical beliefs on marriage and gender would not be able to participate because they do not hold to LGBT ideology.

Seismic Activity On The Rise Across The Planet

Should we be alarmed by all of the seismic activity that is suddenly happening all over the globe?  I don't know if you have noticed, but major earthquakes and earthquake swarms have been shaking key areas of our planet in recent weeks.  

On Monday, it was Japan's turn.  It was being reported that a magnitude 6.5 earthquake had been detected southeast of Honshu, Japan and that immediately got my attention.  

Whenever a significant earthquake hits Japan, I am always reminded of the looming threat of Mt. Fuji.  One of these days, Mt. Fuji is going to come roaring back to life and Tokyo will be absolutely devastated.  Let us hope that such a cataclysm can be put off for as long as possible.

The quake struck hours after a magnitude 5.1 temblor with the epicenter in the outskirts of Lima rattled the region. Hernando Tavera, head of the Geophysical Institute of Peru, said at least four aftershocks took place after the latter quake, and he warned residents to prepare for more aftershocks.

The coast of Peru sits directly along the Ring of Fire just like the west coast of the United States does, and earlier this month a very alarming earthquake swarm in northern California received quite a bit of attention...

A swarm of earthquakes rumbled under the San Ramon-Danville area Wednesday, measuring as high as 3.9 in magnitude, giving local residents a subtle reminder of the seismic activity deep under the region.

The 3.9 magnitude quake struck at 11:43 a.m., followed by an aftershock measuring 2.6 magnitude at 11:46 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. A third aftershock with 3.0 magnitude struck at 11:58 a.m. More than a dozen smaller quakes have followed over the last several hours.

On November 11, a record 111 container ships were anchored off the coast of two California ports. This broke the previous record set just 20 days earlier. In response, Joe Biden promised to strengthen the resiliency of the supply chain by moving to 24/7 operations at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. 

The Biden administration is concerned about the Christmas shopping season and public opinion in an era of product shortages and rising inflation. But this is about more than just making sure shelves are fully stocked for Christmas. The problems involving bottlenecks in these ports are a symptom of a much larger systemic breakdown - a breakdown that threatens to collapse the entire global economic system.

A Broken Supply Chain

Despite the optimistic forecasts of politicians, the broken supply chain won't repair itself any time soon. Its problems will carry on well into 2022 and beyond. President Biden can push for 24/7 port operations, but he knows this won't fix the problem. 

 

These promises are nothing but a public relations campaign to make voters think he's "doing something." Containers cover every square inch of these ports. Before new containers can be offloaded from ships, trucks and trains need to move the existing containers to new locations. 

The nationwide shortage of truck drivers makes that a tall order. And the problem isn't confined to California ports alone. Supply chain problems and shortages plague almost every industry and factory in the world, covering a wide range of products such as bacon, semiconductors, toilet paper, aluminum, pet food, juice boxes, and a host of other items. Why is this? And what does it mean going forward?

COVID Shock

When COVID first struck in early 2020, the global economy came to an abrupt halt. We're now experiencing the trauma from that high speed crash - and the damage is massive. The sudden collapse in global demand led to negative oil futures prices in April 2020. 

This caused energy producers around the world to cap production. Now that demand is returning, producers can't simply increase production overnight. So demand has increased much faster than supply. Fast forward to late 2021, and we're facing the consequences.
Natural gas prices in the United Kingdom are triple what they were just five months ago. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin is holding much of Europe hostage as they've allowed themselves to become dependent on his energy supplies. In China, coal generates 50% of the nation's electricity, and coal is becoming harder and harder to source. 

All this means one thing - higher energy prices, and higher costs for businesses and consumers. It also means energy shortages and rolling blackouts. These energy disruptions result in additional production shutdowns and manufacturing bottlenecks, further compounding global supply chain problems.

On August 15, 1971, Richard Nixon announced he was "closing the gold window," thus ending the U.S. dollar's convertibility to gold. This ended the post-World War II Bretton Woods monetary system where the world operated on a gold-backed U.S. dollar with other world currencies pegged to the dollar. It also began the new era of fiat currency and sowed the seeds of the next great financial crisis. 

Fiat currency is not backed by commodities such as gold or silver. Its only value comes from the public's willingness to accept it as a means of payment. Since Nixon's announcement, all the major governments of the world have used nothing but fiat currencies. Prior to 1971, this had never occurred in human history.

The Danger of Fiat Currency

Why was Nixon's announcement such a significant event? Fiat currencies are dangerous. They eliminate government financial discipline and accountability. When nothing backs a currency, the government can print unlimited currency units. The more currency units that exist, the less valuable they all become. 

If you earn and save in fiat currency, you lose purchasing power over time. The government is essentially stealing from you via inflation. This means government spending is no longer restrained by collected tax revenue or fiscal responsibility.

China is significantly increasing its nuclear weapons capabilities. Several recent reports show that China is constructing 120 missile silos for intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) near Yumen in Gansu, up to 110 silos near Hami in the eastern part of the Xinjian region and up to 40 silos in Ordos in Inner Mongolia. 

ICBMs are defined as missiles with a minimum range of 5,500 kilometers, and primarily designed for nuclear weapons delivery.

"The silo construction at Yumen and Hami constitutes the most significant expansion of the Chinese nuclear arsenal ever," according to Matt Korda and Hans Kristensen, in a report on the Hami field for the Federation of American Scientists. "All told... discoveries indicate that China might be constructing nearly 300 new missile silos," they wrote in September.

"The number of apparent missile silos under construction is similar to the total number of nuclear warheads in the current Chinese stockpile; it exceeds the number of missile silos operated by Russia; it is approaching the number of silos operated by the United States; and it constitutes the largest silo construction since the United States and Russia established their ICBM forces during the Cold War."

Deep In Hiding, Afghan Christians Cling To Faith

They take turns staying awake, praying and walking the floor while others sleep -- blissfully unaware, at least for a few hours, that they are being hunted. They have no passports, no visas, and very little of what they need most of all: hope. 

For these Christians, in a safe house deep in Afghanistan, time is running out. Together, they live in fear of a single knock on their hiding place door -- from the Taliban.

"It happened so fast," Sarah said. "We had many plans for preaching the gospel with other brothers and sisters..." Now, their plan is to just survive. Even that, they know, will be difficult. To the despair of rescue groups and humanitarian workers, the small population of Christians in Afghanistan has seemed to vanish -- almost overnight. 

Some have fled to the hills, others have retreated into the shadows -- turning off their phones and hunkering down in whatever undisclosed locations they can find. Some have just gone missing completely.

When the Biden administration unveiled its new maternity flight suits this spring, a lot of people were incredulous. Why would the military waste its time on something so unnecessary? But now, with Democrats about to force women to register for the draft, it's clear: we're going to need a lot more of them.

According to Biden's party, forcing women into combat is the only path to "pure equality." Of course, the idea of parity probably sounds great until you're putting your only daughter on a bus to boot camp. 

That's the uncomfortable reality facing a lot of parents as the House debates the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) this week. Thanks to Rep. Prophetic Dominoes - EU Army Back On Table After Afghanistan Fiasco
Many Bible prophecy scholars have commented on the significance of the Afghanistan pullout in relationship to passages in Ezekiel 38, as well as the potential ramifications of America's status on the world stage, but few had imagined a renewed call in Europe for the formation of an EU Army.
Twenty-six centuries ago, Ezekiel described a last days alliance that will invade Israel from the north. The Bible says a man named Gog will lead this massive invasion force (Ezekiel 38:2-6). Here are the nations who will join Gog, followed by their modern day names:

Rosh = Russia
Magog = Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan
Persia = Iran
Cush = Sudan
Put = Libya
Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, and Beth-togarmah = Turkey
Until a few weeks ago all of these nations could feasibly have become involved in such a coalition against Israel except one - Afghanistan.  With a pro-US government in place and US troops based in the country there it was extremely unlikely to be involved in such a coalition of nations. That has now all changed and with Islamic extremists back in power - they would be happy to join in a holy war against Israel and use US equipment left behind to do it.
What role the US plays in the End Times is up for debate.  Some point out the similarities between Mystery Babylon and the United States in the book of Revelation which does not bode well for America if that is the case.  Scripture is silent on it's direct role and thus we can only look for clues to it's future.  

We do know that the United States has been a strong supporter of Israel since before it's modern inception and that God promises to bless those who bless Israel.  However the US, Israel alliance has been slowly weakening as the Democratic party allows more and more anti-Israel policies to take hold - least of all is the support of clearly anti-Semitic members of Congress. 

Biden is now pushing for a Palestinian state and dividing the land of Israel - which several Bible prophecy experts have linked to natural disasters hitting the US. Even evangelical support for Israel among the younger generations continues to drop as Biblical literacy continues to decline.

Some believe the US will fade from being a world power and unable or unwilling to help Israel in it's future battles.  Such a demise would seem to be yet far reality but add an economic crisis to the already fragile social fabric of our nation or another future health crisis and look what can happen to nations in just a few months.  

Natural disasters, cosmic events, conflict with China or even a sneak attack involving an electromagnetic pulse from Iran or North Korea could make America so focused on internal issues she is no longer able to play the role of global policeman.  

Which brings us to the potential rise of a new world superpower.  The European Union is already an economic superpower however it still doesn't wield the full potential of it's military powers, partly due to continued fragmentation among the members militaries.  

Attempts to integrate Europe have seemed to have rolled backwards over the past few years with both political and popular opinion against further integration.  The departure of Britain from the EU also dealt it a major blow.

In May 2012, Rev. Billy Graham, then 93-years-old, took out full-page ads in newspapers throughout North Carolina addressing the upcoming vote on the definition of marriage. The ads featured a large picture of Rev. Graham and carried his own words: "At 93, I never thought we would have to debate the definition of marriage. The Bible is clear -- God's definition of marriage is between a man and a woman. I want to urge my fellow North Carolinians to vote FOR the marriage amendment on Tuesday, May 8. God bless you as you vote."

Wayne Besen, an outspoken gay activist, took strong exception to these ads, writing, "I'm a little confused here, because I thought we lived in America. Yet, Graham is now trying to jam his own church's rules and doctrine down my throat. The last time I checked, I never signed up for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. (BGEA). I don't even like his church, yet he thinks I should be forced against my will to live by its rules.
"Do we now make our civil laws based upon Christian Sharia? Do we all have to follow his version of the Bible or be punished by government? And if this is the case, are we really a free country? Are we really much different than Iran, or is it only by a matter of degrees or a matter of time until these so-called 'Christian Supremacists' get their paws on all of our laws?"

Will Vaccine Passports Create Two-Tier Society? Canada Is About To Find Out

Of the many terms we've become accustomed to over the course of the pandemic, "vaccine passport" is perhaps one of the more ominous ones. Although the idea was initially dismissed as little more than a conspiracy theory, many people now believe that "showing your papers" is a reasonable prerequisite for participating in normal public life. 
Indeed, New York City has already implemented a vaccine passport, and many other municipalities are also considering it.
Two years ago we would have called this dystopian. Today, we call it a public health measure.
Canadians in particular have embraced the idea of vaccine passports, and two provinces (Quebec and British Columbia) have now announced plans to implement vaccine passport systems in the coming weeks.
Quebec was the first to announce that they would be implementing the policy.
"People who have made the effort to get their two doses must be able to live a somewhat normal life," Premier François Legault said in the announcement on August 5. "We will give certain privileges to those who have agreed to make the effort to get their two shots," he continued. "Some non-essential services will be available only to vaccinated people."
The system, which comes into effect on September 1, will apply to places with high capacity and a high rate of contact, including festivals, bars, restaurants, gyms, and training facilities.

Can The West Be Honest About The Islamist Threat?

As Afghanistan slides back into the Middle Ages, it's worth examining not just the strategic failures and poor leadership that produced this result, but the fundamentally unserious approach of the West to an ongoing conflict with a set of foes whose hostility is not so much rooted in economics or national rivalries as it is in religion.

The Taliban and their spiritual confederates elsewhere, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, ISIS and Al-Qaeda--not to mention state actors like Iran--pose a real threat to the liberal approach to 21st-century life. So it ought not to have been too much to ask that our government and those tasked with informing and educating Americans about these issues be honest about the fact that all of them are, in one way or another, waging a religious war on the West and all it stands for.
And given that these forces are also waging war on the rights of women and minority groups such as Christians --rights that liberal democracies are sworn to protect at home and to encourage abroad--one would think that honesty about recognizing that Islamism is incompatible with modernity and equality would also be a must.

Biden State Dept. Blocking Evacuation Of Afghani Christians

Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson recently interviewed Glen Beck, a TV presenter for Blaze. The interview was held remotely as Beck was in the region of Afghanistan where he was working to help Christian refugees flee Afghanistan. Last week, as the crisis in Afghanistan was unfolding, Beck set up the Nazarene Fund, raising over $30 million almost overnight to extract Christians from the country.

The need for the extraction operation was dire as the Frontier Alliance International, a global Christian missionary organization, released a statement last week stating that the Taliban in Afghanistan is going door-to-door, searching for Christians and executing them.

 
The Biden administration has turned over the security of the airport in Kabul to the Taliban who have set an August 31 deadline for evacuations. Beck told Carlson that he had thus far succeeded in evacuating 5,100 Christian refugees from Afghanistan via chartered airliners. 

Beck described a horrifying scene in which 500 Christians were waiting to board the next plane inside the airport's safe zone when the bombings occurred.  A military official ordered them to return to the other side of the gate, beyond the protected area of the airport.   

"I have pictures of them pleading to get back through the gate," said Beck.  "I have pictures of blood and body parts and nothing but death in that same area. We believe our State Department is directly responsible for what we believe were some of these people. I don't know how many survived." 

Beck explained that there are only three countries that have agreed to accept the refugees and are only willing to do so on the condition of anonymity out of fear of Taliban reprisals.

"The State Department has blocked us every step of the way," Beck told Carlson.  "The State Department and the White House have been the biggest problem.  Everyone else has been working together, putting aside differences and trying to get these people to safety."


Beck gave as an example a phone call made by the US State Department to a Macedonian ambassador instructing him not to accept any of the refugees into his country. 

"Our mission is now changing greatly," said Beck.  "We have to send people into even greater danger to try to smuggle these Christians out, who are marked not just for death, but to be set on fire alive because they're converted Christians."

Beck described his efforts to open up new avenues to extract the Christian refugees but did not go into detail as he was concerned the US State Department would work to shut down those as well.

Beck noted that while legal points of entry like airports were closed due to the pandemic, the Biden administration was allowing illegal immigrants to cross the southern border freely.

"One group of people are exploited, raped, and killed by drug cartels while another group is raped, exploited and crucified or set on fire by terrorists," Beck said. "There seems to be a pattern with the Biden administration."

Tucker agreed with Beck's observation.

"So Muslim countries in the region are more eager to accept Christians from Afghanistan than our own State Department," Tucker suggested.

"They have more compassion for these Christians than our American government," Beck said, his voice choked with emotion. "It is insulting, embarrassing, and wrong. What our government is doing now I believe is out and out evil."

 

In a separate discussion on Twitter with Sen. Tom Cotton, Beck described the predicament. Cotton confirmed that he had heard similar reports from other quarters.

"Our people on the ground inside the airport, Department of Defense and intelligence agencies and State Department officials, are trying to move heaven and earth to get people into the airport and out of the country. But the senior officials in the State Department are a different kettle of fish."

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan does not recognize any Afghan citizen as being Christian so there are officially no Christians in Afghanistan. 

Despite the legal restrictions, many sources claim that there is a secret underground church of Afghan Christians living in Afghanistan. 

The US state department has stated estimated of the size of secret Christians to be several thousand individuals but other mission organizations put it at much larger numbers. Due to the hostile environment, Afghan Christians practice their faith secretly in private homes.
