The US economy is a 70% retail and service economy, which means it is entirely reliant on continued growth in domestic consumption in order to maintain all other elements of the system.  With manufacturing only a small part of overall employment (8%) and agriculture also limited (10%), our country is overly dependent on spending habits and ultimately consumer debt.  

If we produced more goods domestically and exported more overseas, then stagflation might not be as big a concern. However, as it stands now, the stability of the entire machine rests on people's faith in the economy and their willingness to continue spending in the hopes that a return to normalcy is "right around the corner."

In order to measure when our system will break, it's important to track the health of the average consumer as well as their concerns for the future.  Sadly, as soon as Americans stop spending and start saving, our economy goes down.  That is the way the system has been designed.

The mainstream media was quick to jump on news this month of "increased" retail spending -  overall retail sales climbed 1% for June.  Of course, what they don't mention is that official inflation is at 9.1% and REAL inflation is closer to 17%. OF COURSE retail sales are climbing, everything costs far more than it did a year ago.

But if we look at this data closer some alarms should go off.  Why did retail only climb 1% when official inflation is at 9%?  Sales should be much higher, but they are not.  The 1% increase in retail in the midst of 40-year highs in price inflation is a sign of a sales implosion, not an improvement.  A year ago in 2021, retail sales spiked by 7.73% in the middle of the inflation chaos.  Inflation didn't go away in the past year, it only got worse, and now the increase is only 1% in 2022.

What about consumer sentiment?  Well, it has plunged 37% since last year, indicating that faith in the economy is rapidly devolving and that Americans are more likely to cut their expenses in order to protect themselves from potential fiscal shocks in the months ahead.

What is causing this consumer decline?  There are numerous factors.

First, the $6 trillion-plus in covid stimulus funds from 2020 has cycled through the retail chain and well out of people's pockets.  It's gone, and the huge increase in economic activity that it triggered is gone also.  We are finally feeling the effects that naturally occur at the end of helicopter money.

Around 43% of all Americans are falling into debt this year.  Around 23% say they have no savings at all, while 28% say they have savings but only enough for three months of expenses should they lose their jobs.  Half of Americans said inflation was the primary cause of their financial struggles, and 64% classify themselves as "financially unhealthy."  What does this translate to in the near term?  Far less spending.

US credit card debt peaked at $856 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021 and has started to decline, hitting $841 billion in the first quarter of 2022.  Once again, with rising inflation you might assume that credit spending would continue to climb, but this is not the case.  This is yet another signal that consumers are tapped out and simply can't spend the way they were a year ago.

Unemployment dropped to incredible lows as retailers frantically hired as many people as possible to keep up with the wave of consumer spending fed by covid checks and PPP loans.  As is the case with most economic trends, it takes time for the system to realize that the money has disappeared.  This is building up to mass layoffs in the final quarter of 2022.

Rising job losses in tandem with rising prices is the last technical indicator of stagflation along with falling GDP.  With GDP well in decline recession has essentially already arrived, but the Biden Administration continues to tout the high employment rate as proof that all is well in the economy.  

They consistently ignore all other important factors including GDP, rising prices, rising debt and loss of consumer spending power.  An avalanche of job losses this year going into 2023 is so predictable it hurts, yet the White House acts as if it is oblivious.

Perhaps Joe Biden is oblivious (as his mind continues to degrade into dementia), but his economic advisers are not.  They are well aware of what is about to happen and they are trying to keep the American people in the dark.  Some might consider this tantamount to treason, but that's a discussion for another time.  Needless to say, a considerable downturn is about to take place going into 2023 and hopefully people are preparing for the inevitable consequences.

Prophetic Countdown? Netanyahu Promises Peace Accords With Multiple Nations

Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised to bring full peace agreements with Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries if he wins the election for the 25th Knesset this fall and forms a government.

Netanyahu said: "I would like to express my appreciation to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, for his contribution to the achievement of the four historic peace agreements we have brought - the 'Abraham Accords.'"

"If I return to lead the State of Israel on your behalf, I intend to bring about full peace agreements with Saudi Arabia and also with other Arab countries," Netanyahu added.

While Netanyahu's return to power is far from a certainty, it does show the desire of Israeli leaders to expand the peace agreements that have begun with several Arab nations through the 'Abraham Accords' - regardless of who might win the upcoming elections.

Peace with Saudi Arabia, the heart of the Sunni Muslim world would be an amazing turn of events after continuous wars since Israel's creation.  Some would call such a peace agreement even 'prophetic'.

Prophecy teachers have long warned that one of the single most important prophetic events to watch for as an indication of the start of the 'tribulation period' is the signing/ratifying of a 7 year peace accord between Israel and many nations.

This prophetic period of time is detailed in the Book of Daniel as well as throughout the book of Revelation.  Daniel 9:27 warns us that this specific prophetic period of time will begin when "He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."

Several key details are important in this passage that scholars have debated for centuries including the reference to "He".  Most Bible experts agree this is a reference to who Jesus calls the "abomination that causes desolation" (Matthew 24:15) and is called "the beast" in Revelation 13.  He is most commonly known by the term the "Antichrist".  This Antichrist figure will be a world leader with influence/control over 10 leaders or 10 regions and be a key player in brining about or ratifying/expanding current treaties (Abraham Accords?).

This Antichrist figure will be exposed for the false leader that he is when he breaks this covenant/agreement for peace half way through, putting a stop to sacrifice in the rebuilt Jewish temple and declaring himself God (abomination of desolation).  A key component of this peace agreement appears to be a rebuilt Jewish temple.  

PNW regularly includes articles on the developments in Israel to bring about the rebuilt temple including the training of priests, the search for a red heifer, the reconstruction of temple instruments, etc...  the main ingredient missing is the heart of the majority of the Jewish people to see the temple rebuilt and the political will to do in the midst of a hostile Arab world.  

Could a future peace agreement provide for such a temple?  It is hard to see the Muslim world ever agreeing to a Jewish temple near the Dome of the Rock, however if Saudi Arabia was to sign a treaty with Israel a religious component would make sense as it represents the center of Islam.  Should Saudi Arabia sign, countless other Arab nations could follow, thus the "many" reference in Daniel.  

Saudi Arabia has also made clear in the past they would not agree to any peace deal until the Palestinian issue was solved, thus giving a true false sense of security in Israel that "peace and safety" has finally been achieved in the Middle East.  It also makes sense that such a significant treaty would have the backing of world powers to 'confirm' or 'guarantee' such a treaty. 

This recent statement by Netanyahu reminds us of this desire to one day reach a final peace accord.  Ironically, Shiite Iran's push for a nuclear weapon is speeding up the timetable for Saudi Arabia, Israel and other nations to come to some type of rapprochement in an effort to counter Iran's power.  Whether the famous battle of Ezekiel 38 will happen before or after the start of this Tribulation period begins remains to be seen.... but it appears the two events will be prophetically interlinked.

What we are seeing now is a foreshadowing of things to come but until all of them are fulfilled exactly as scripture foretells we can only speculate as to how our modern world may bring these about.  Many aspects of this prophecy seem to be far off or even too wild to believe, however Covid has shown us how our entire world can be turned upside-down in a matter of months.  Scripture has already given us the outline of what is to come, now we just have to wait for the pieces of the puzzle to fall into place.  PNW will be updating you on these events as we draw near to their fulfillment.

Warning - The Coming Shortage Of Diesel Fuel Could Cripple Our Economy

What I am about to share with you is a developing situation, and I hope to share more once the facts become clearer.  It appears that a very serious diesel crisis is coming in the months ahead, and that will have a dramatic impact on our economy.  

As you will see below, we are being warned that there will be shortages of diesel fuel, diesel exhaust fluid and diesel engine oil.  Most diesel vehicles require all three in order to run, and so a serious shortage of any of them would be a major disaster.  

Needless to say, simultaneous shortages of all three could potentially be catastrophic.  Most Americans don't spend much time thinking about diesel, but without it our supply chains collapse and we don't have a functioning economy.  

In a recent Time Magazine article discussing the coming diesel fuel shortage, we are told that "the U.S. economy runs on diesel"...

Though most consumers shake their heads at the cost of gasoline and complain about the cost of filling up their car tanks, what they really should be worried about is the price of diesel. The U.S. economy runs on diesel. It's what powers the container ships that bring goods from Asia and the trucks that collect goods from the ports and bring them to warehouses and then to your home. The farmers who grow the food you eat put diesel in their tractors to plow the fields, and the workers that bring construction equipment to build your home put diesel in their trucks.

Since January, supplies of diesel fuel have been steadily getting tighter.

As supplies have gotten tighter, prices have skyrocketed.  The average price of a gallon of diesel fuel hit $5.50 a gallon in early May, and it has remained above that level ever since.

One of the biggest reasons for the supply crunch is a serious lack of refining capacity.  Back in 1980, the U.S. had twice as many refineries...

There are also fewer refineries, which process crude oil into diesel and other products, in the U.S. than were just a few years ago. There are just 124 now operating, down from twice as many in 1980, and down from 139 in 2016, according to the U.S. Energy Information Association. The northeast region is particularly spare, with just seven refineries today, down from 27 in 1982.

There have already been some temporary outages of diesel fuel at a few locations around the country, and we are being warned that disruptions are likely to intensify during the summer months.

But the good news is that we aren't going to run out of diesel fuel.  It may become a lot more expensive, and there may be painful temporary shortages, but we won't run out of it.

Unfortunately, the crisis that we are facing with diesel exhaust fluid is potentially much more serious.

If you have just been skimming this article, this is the part where you need to start really paying attention.

Newsweek is telling us that the United States "could soon experience a severe shortage of diesel exhaust fluid"...

The U.S. could soon experience a severe shortage of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), impacting U.S. drivers already hit with soaring fuel prices.

DEF is a solution made up of urea and de-ionized water that is needed for almost everything that runs on diesel. It reduces harmful gases being released into the atmosphere and works by converting nitrogen oxide produced by diesel engines into nitrogen and steam.

If you have a diesel vehicle that was sold in the United States after 2010, your vehicle could technically run without DEF, but in most cases your vehicle will simply not let you start it if the DEF tank is dry...

Can we call it a DEF jam? Everything is in short supply as supply chains continue to unlink. The latest commodity reportedly hit is DEF, or the blue diesel exhaust fluid that every diesel sold in the U.S. after 2010 needs to cut emissions. This means that every diesel truck, diesel RV, SUV, and car owner will likely have to look harder, and pay more for, DEF. A diesel engine can technically run without DEF, but your diesel vehicle likely won't let you start it if the DEF tank is empty.

A lack of urea is the biggest reason for the growing shortage of DEF.

How Many Chief Financial Officers Expect Recession? Survey Results: 100%

Have you ever heard of a survey where 100 percent of the respondents agree?  I can't ever recall seeing one like that, but as you will see below, 100 percent of the corporate CFOs that were just surveyed by CNBC believe that a recession is coming by the end of next year.  
At this point, our economic troubles are growing so rapidly that you would have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to see what is happening.  A meltdown of historic proportions has already begun, and there is economic gloom just about everywhere that you look.
But even though the U.S. economy is clearly moving in one direction, I still didn't expect to see this sort of a consensus among corporate financial executives...
According to the majority (68%) of CFOs responding to the survey, a recession will occur during the first half of 2023. No CFO forecast a recession any later than the second half of next year, and no CFO thinks the economy will avoid a recession.
The CNBC CFO Council Q2 survey is a sample of the current outlook among top financial officers. It was conducted among 22 chief financial officers at major organizations between May 12-June 6.
Of course they are right on target.
The months ahead are going to be very difficult.

Federal Agencies Celebrate Pride, Ignore Memorial Day

If you're wondering where America's heroes rank on President Joe Biden's list of priorities, try below the rainbow flag.

While federal agencies have been tripping over themselves to pledge allegiance to LGBT activism, two couldn't be bothered to recognize the fallen troops who make our freedom possible. Despite a governmentwide tweet-fest over Pride Month, the departments of Justice and Treasury managed to ignore Memorial Day altogether.

Thanks to social media, Americans are getting a good look at the main obsession of this administration, which has devoted more than 30 posts to LGBT extremism from its official accounts--but couldn't spare half that attention to the men and women who gave all.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who was probably too busy promoting abortion as the solution to our tanking economy, failed to mark either occasion. U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland's team, on the other hand, showed complete disregard for our military by celebrating pride but overlooking Americans' ultimate sacrifice.

Family Research Council's executive vice president, retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin, could only shake his head at the administration's tunnel vision:

It's astounding that any government agency would refuse to acknowledge and honor the military men and women who died fighting for this country. We see this administration setting aside an entire month to recognize and celebrate with the LGBT community, while at the same time, we have a large number of homeless veterans and others with severe disabilities and PTSD. When are we going to set aside a designated period of time to help them?

Elsewhere, the taxpayer-funded revelry goes on. And not just through June. With gas prices soaring, U.S. energy officials want Americans to know they're hard at work pumping out--diversity. "Pride. This month. Next month. Always," the office posted to social media. An angry stream of responses followed.

"So comforting to know that you've invested your time and effort into this nonsense when the Secretary of Energy doesn't even know how much oil the U.S. consumes daily and Americans are paying the highest prices ever for fuel," one frustrated American fired back. "Now if only we could celebrate any of you doing your job well," another said.

At the Department of Health and Human Services, where Secretary Xavier Becerra is on a personal crusade to fund children's transition surgeries with taxpayer dollars, the agency released a novella on pride--devoting 1,600 words to the cause and offering 15 separate statements from HHS leaders (including Rachel Levine).

Not to be outdone, education officials decided to change their government seal to the "progress pride" flag, paying special homage to transgenderism--while the Marines, Air Force, and Space Force hyped everything from rainbow bullets to astronauts "queering" the moon.

Meanwhile, at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the occasion eclipsed even National Dairy Month, as banners, logos, and around-the-clock tweets spewed politically correct sexualism.

And while the USDA did put up a good fight with its rainbow-colored produce backdrop, the award for LGBT pandering has to go to the U.S. State Department, which--apart from posting more pride tweets than anyone in government over a 24-hour span--also managed to enrage the world's religious community with its stunt at the Holy See. The jarring site of the U.S. Embassy, just steps from the Vatican, waving the LGBT flag felt like just the latest middle finger from Biden to people of faith.

Like so many, Family Research Council's Connor Semelsberger, director of federal affairs, is horrified by the display and its undercurrent of hostility to religion as a whole:

The Catholic Church's teachings on the beauty of natural marriage and human sexuality have been known for millennium. This move by the U.S. Embassy to fly a 'pride flag' at the Holy See reveals that the radical LGBT agenda is a pseudo religion that seeks to replace the moral and social teachings of the tradition of the Catholic faith and enforce its rule on all major institutions around the world. 

After its Twitter post showcasing the story-high flag, the U.S. was blasted for its hypocrisy. "The Biden administration would never do this in an Islamic country," Ben Shapiro argued. "This is anti-Catholic bigotry." And ironically, it comes at the hands of a self-professed Catholic, Biden.

Mary Szoch, Family Research Council's director of the Center for Human Dignity, insists it's just one in a long line of betrayals to his faith:

The U.S. Embassy to the Holy See's decision to fly a rainbow flag is consistent with President Biden's clear lack of respect for Catholic teaching. ... Since his inauguration, President Biden, who calls himself a devout Catholic, has openly supported policies that actively attack the heart of the family. He has pledged allegiance to the wrong flag.

Imagine being a Gold Star family--maybe one of the 13 who lost loved ones to Biden's disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal--watching this governmentwide gaiety unfold.

Your son or daughter, husband or wife, mother or father is gone, and the only thing this White House cares about is giving the full measure of devotion to a vulgar fringe that mocks truth, bullies faith, and divides the nation. They are the few, the inexplicably proud.

Have Our Spiritual Shepherds Become Wolves? Pastors Abandon Biblical Worldview

New analysis from Arizona Christian University's Cultural Research Center reveals a "particularly shocking" absence of biblical worldview among pastors of evangelical churches, "because evangelical churches, by definition, believe that the Bible is God's true and reliable words to humanity." 

The latest release of the American Worldview Inventory, conducted in February and March of this year, revealed that 37% of Christian pastors held a biblical worldview, and the numbers are only slightly better among pastors of evangelical (51%) and independent or non-denominational (57%) churches. 

"With barely half of evangelical pastors possessing a biblical worldview -- and that number continuing to decline -- attending what may be considered an 'evangelical' church no longer ensures a pastoral staff that has a high view of the scriptures," said George Barna, Senior Research Fellow with FRC's Center for Biblical Worldview.

No parent ever thinks it will happen to them. One day, they wake up and their son or daughter is just gone -- lost to a world they never saw coming. Some parents have said it's like living in a horror film or screaming through a nightmare they can't wake up from. Years later, when their children come to regret it -- the cut and scarred bodies, the unfamiliar faces, the knowledge they can't have babies of their own -- they'll wonder about the strangers who sold them these lies. 

The people in corporate board rooms, behind movie cameras, or stocking shelves who told them the way to get noticed and valued was to be someone else. The soulless companies like Target, who don't care if your son or daughter is next.

"It's in the schools. It's online. It's in cartoons and media. It's in the medical system." Dads like Brenton Netz try to tick off all of the places parents should be on guard for transgender indoctrination. In the end, he settles for: "It's everywhere." 

Target stores seem intent on proving his point, filling its racks with one invitation after another for young people to reject the bodies God gave them -- chest binders to strap down breasts, compression underwear for boys, or "packing underwear" with a bulge for girls. There are t-shirts with pronouns, baby onesies with "My First Pride," and toddler tie-dyes that declare "Trans Rights Are Human Rights."

This mega-retailer, who helped launch the war on gender six years ago with its open bathrooms and fitting rooms, is taking this battle to the shelves where they can reach your children directly. "Relatable" podcast host Allie Stuckey, like a lot of Americans, couldn't believe it. "It is so profoundly disturbing that Target is playing a part in this," she insisted after announcing that she was saying goodbye to her beloved chain. 

"Maybe I should have stopped shopping at Target a long time ago... And maybe I should have realized, you know, several, several years back, that Target is not a place where I should be shopping. I know a lot of you have not been shopping at Target because of the values that they have been purporting for the past several years."

But, Stuckey admitted, the store is "a weakness of mine, and I think it's a weakness of a lot of yours, too, because they have a lot of great home decor. They have very affordable clothing. It's just kind of a fun place to go to spend your afternoon with your children. It's a thing to do. It becomes like kind of a social event. And yet, this is it for me.

The Inflation Hurricane Has Not Even Hit Yet - Food Prices To Double By Fall?

Not too long ago, the elite were trying to put a happy face on our growing economic problems.  It was obvious that things were trending in a very alarming direction, but they kept assuring us that any bumps in the road were just temporary and that a new golden age of prosperity was just around the corner.  
Needless to say, there were dead wrong, and now some of them are publicly admitting the truth.  For example, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon just publicly admitted this week that an economic "hurricane" is rapidly approaching...
Jamie Dimon is no meteorologist, but the JPMorgan Chase CEO is predicting an economic "hurricane" caused by the war in Ukraine, rising inflation pressures and interest rate hikes from the Federal Reserve.
"Right now it's kind of sunny, things are doing fine. Everyone thinks the Fed can handle this," Dimon said at a Bernstein conference. "That hurricane is right out there down the road coming our way."
JPMorgan Chase is one of the most important financial institutions in the entire world.
So it is a really big thing for Dimon to make a statement like this.
Of course he is right on target.  An economic hurricane is coming, and it is going to be far more horrible than most Americans could possibly imagine right now.
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen also just said something that is making a lot of headlines.
Last year she insisted that high inflation would just be "transitory", but now she is openly admitting that she "was wrong"...
"I was wrong then about the path that inflation would take. As I mentioned, there have been unanticipated and large shocks to the economy [...] that I, at the time, didn't fully understand."
It isn't exactly a surprise that she turned out to be completely wrong about high inflation being transitory.
We knew that she was wrong when she said it.
But I will give her credit for publicly admitting a mistake.  Many in Washington will never do such a thing under any circumstances.
At this point, it should be obvious to everyone that we are in the midst of an absolutely horrifying inflation crisis.
On Wednesday, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States jumped another nickel to $4.67.  But the real story is the crazy prices that we are starting to see out on the west coast.  For instance, one gas station in Los Angeles is now charging more than 8 dollars a gallon for regular gasoline...
A Chevron station in downtown Los Angeles on the corner of Alameda Street and Cesar E. Chavez Avenue is charging customers over $8 for regular gasoline causing some locals to complain about price gouging, KTTV Los Angeles reported on Tuesday.
In a statement to KTTV, Chevron pointed out that the majority of its California branded stations are independently owned and that "unique" factors are contributing to gas prices in the Golden State.
How soon will we see someone break the 10 dollar a gallon threshold?
Will it be by the end of the summer?
In some cities, the price of a gallon of gasoline is already higher than the hourly minimum wage.
That is nuts!
Of course diesel prices have been rising even faster, and this is putting a tremendous amount of financial strain on America's farmers.  If you doubt this, just check out what Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller just told Maria Bartiromo...
When Bartiromo noted "filling a tractor daily now costs farmers $1,000 - twice what it was a year ago," Miller responded, "it's through the roof, but it's not just diesel."
"It's fertilizer prices. It's parts. We can't get new tractors, new combines. We can't get new tillage equipment," he stressed. "So we have to keep running our older equipment, which we can't get parts for. And so it's just a whole comedy of errors, and it just multiplies on top of itself."
When costs go up for farmers, they inevitably get passed on to consumers.
And we have already been seeing food prices spike dramatically.  Just check out these numbers from April...
Food grains--including corn and wheat--were up 2.8 percent for the month and 45 percent compared with a year ago. Feed grain prices increased 7.8 percent from the prior month and 33 percent from a year ago.
The poultry and egg index jumped 22 percent from March and 94 percent from a year earlier. The April market egg price, at $2.21 per dozen, is 81.0 cents higher than March and $1.64 higher than April 2021. The price of chickens raised for meat, at $1.05 per pound, is 15.3 cents higher than March and 49.7 cents higher than a year ago. At 95.3 cents per pound, the April turkey price is 2.5 cents higher than the previous month and 18.5 cents higher than April 2021.
Milk prices climbed 4.12 percent in April and are up 47 percent compared with a year earlier.
In the entire history of our nation, we have never seen anything like this.
But as I keep warning my readers, this is just the beginning.
In fact, one prominent Texas farmer is warning that food prices "are going to double"...
"People don't realize what's fixing to hit them," said Texas farmer Lynn "Bugsy" Allen.
"They think it's tough right now, you give it until October. Food prices are going to double."
Can you imagine that?
Can you imagine what it will do to our country if food prices double from their already extremely inflated levels?
People will go absolutely bananas.
But this is exactly the type of scenario that I have been warning about for years.
Eventually, food will become such a prime target for thieves that we will actually see armed guards escorting grocery store delivery trucks.
And civil unrest will erupt all over the planet as millions upon millions of poor people get hungrier and hungrier.
Unfortunately, even though so many are now sounding the alarm, the vast majority of the population still has no idea what is coming our way.

'Accidental Fires' Continue To Happen At Food Processing Facilities

We are supposed to believe that what we are witnessing is just one "tragic accident" after another. We aren't supposed to see any sort of a pattern, and we aren't supposed to ask any questions. 
There have been more "accidental fires" in recent days, and I believe that the American people deserve some answers.
 
Last month, I wrote an article about 16 mysterious fires that have happened at important food industry facilities in the United States since the start of 2022.  

Unfortunately, this trend has continued since that time.  In fact, there have been more "accidental fires" in recent days, and I believe that the American people deserve some answers.
On Saturday night, a "massive" fire erupted at a commercial egg farm in Minnesota.
We are being told that the structure that burned down contained "tens of thousands of chickens"...

Massive flames burned down a barn with tens of thousands of chickens in Wright County.
The fire started late Saturday night at Forsman Farms in Howard Lake, causing major damage.
Like so many of the other mysterious fires that I have reported on, this fire grew to an absolutely enormous size very, very rapidly...

The Trebesch family thought they would spend Saturday night around their bonfire, but just after 10 p.m. they noticed massive flames across the field at Forsman Farms.

"It was unbelievable how quick it grew, it was insane," Andy Trebesch said. "It was the whole sky, it was quite large."
We are being told that there was no foul play.
Just another senseless accident.

Nothing to see here.
Of course the same explanation is being given for a "dramatic fireball" that burned a grain silo to the ground in Washington state just a few days ago...
A spectacular fire demolished M & E Seed and Grain Co. in Prosser and left one person with burns.
A smoldering pile of twisted metal and charred lumber was all that remained Thursday morning after firefighters battled the blaze in downtown Prosser all night.
A few firefighters remained at the scene to monitor the fire.
They are assuring us that this sort of thing happens all the time.

So don't try to apply common sense to any of this, because that will just confuse you.
A few days before that tragedy in Washington state, 43 rail cars that were carrying much needed potash derailed in Alberta...

About 43 westbound Canadian Pacific (CP) Rail cars carrying potash derailed northeast of Fort Macleod, Alta., Sunday morning, RCMP say.

At 8:15 a.m., Mounties responded to a train derailment between Range Roads 251 and 252, near Highway 3. Fire crews and CP Rail also came to the scene, according to police.
So what are Canadian authorities telling us about this incident?
You guessed it!
Apparently it was just another "accident".
People sure are getting careless these days, because "accidents" just keep happening time after time after time.
And all of this is taking place at a moment in history when we are being told that we are about to enter an absolutely horrifying global food crisis.

Overnight on Monday-Tuesday (May 30-31), scientists expect a spectacular new meteor shower called the tau Herculids…or not. If it does appear, the heavenly light show will be the brightest of the year. 

The earth is about to cross through the orbit of a comet named 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann (also known as SW3) that’s been falling apart since at least 1995. Astronomers noted that the comet was in about 70 pieces when it approached Earth in 2006 and has continued to fragment further since then.

Though there is no danger of the Earth colliding with the comet, clouds from the comet’s debris will be visible as we pass through. The meteor shower will be especially noticeable as it will be high in the night sky during the peak time, and since the sky would be Moon-less, the event would be much easier to spot in the northern hemisphere.

“This is going to be an all-or-nothing event. If the debris from SW3 traveled more than 220 miles per hour (354 km per hour) when it separated from the comet, we might see a nice meteor shower. If the debris had slower ejection speeds, then nothing will make it to Earth, and there will be no meteors from this comet”, Bill Cooke, who leads NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office, said in a report.

In the best-case scenario, this could be one of the most dramatic meteor displays since the spectacular Leonid meteor showers of more than 20 years ago. According to the American Meteor Society, the ideal time to head outside and look for the tau Herculids is next Monday evening from 9:45 p.m. PT – 10:17 p.m. PT.

“The southwestern USA and Mexico are favored locations as the radiant, the area of the sky where these meteors come from, will be located highest in a dark sky,” Robert Lunsford writes for AMS. “The outburst may be seen from southeastern Canada and the remainder of the (eastern) USA, but at a lower altitude.”

It is interesting to note that the meteor shower will take place on Rosh Chodesh Sivan (the new moon/month). According to Jewish tradition, this is the day that the Children of Israel encamped at Mount Sinai.

Meteor showers may be a harbinger of redemption, similar to the Exodus from Egypt.

“The prophecies, the Talmud, and the Zohar all explicitly describe the astronomical phenomenon that will appear immediately before the Moshiach (Messiah) arrives,” Rabbi Eyal Riess, Director of the Tzfat Kabbalah Center, told Israel365 News. “Asteroids and meteors are clearly among them as signs of change and as elements that bring about the change.”

“Using Jewish sources, we have determined that we are objectively coming to the end-of-days according to the calendar,” Rabbi Riess said. “In kabbalistic terms, we are one hour before sunset. Very soon, the Sabbath of Messiah will begin.”

Rabbi Riess believed that any astronomical event connected to the Messianic process would bring with it healing and not harm.

“Everything that is happening today, politics and natural phenomenon, connects one part of the world to all the others and connects the beginning of time to the end of days,” Rabbi Riess said. “Messiah is part of creation, not destruction, and this is the specific message in these celestial signs.”

The rabbi cited a verse from Isaiah to illustrate this point.

And the light of the moon shall become like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall become sevenfold, like the light of the seven days, when Hashem binds up His people’s wounds and heals the injuries it has suffered. Isaiah 30:26

“The Zohar (the basis of Jewish esoteric learning) describes warring stars as accompanying the Messiah,” Rabbi Riess explained. “A large pillar of flame will also appear, as was seen by the Children of Israel in the desert.”

Rabbi Riess also pointed out that the prophet Joel prophesied astronomical phenomena as signaling the imminent arrival of the Messiah.

Germany does too. The only difference is its leaders continue to delude themselves into believing they can survive with zero Russian energy.

The EU put itself in a terrible position of weakness. Entering 2022, they were dependent on Russia for 30% of their oil and almost half of their natural gas. When the EU supported sanctions against Russia following its invasion of Ukraine, the international banking system cut off Russia's foreign dollar and euro reserves. This meant if Russia continued to accept dollar and euro payments, they would be trading oil and gas in exchange for worthless currency they couldn't spend. 

So what did they do? Russia demanded payment in either rubles or hard currency such as gold. European leaders threatened to sue for breach of contract. They vowed never to accept such an arrangement and threatened any European energy company that dared to comply. That was last month. Today, dozens of European countries and companies are paying for Russian oil and gas with rubles. The latest is French energy group Engie, whose largest shareholder is the French government. 

When it comes to foreign policy, the EU is divided. Each nation continues to operate its own foreign policy. They can't agree and rarely speak in one voice. To me, this failure to agree is yet another reason to believe some form of the EU will become Daniel's prophesied final empire. Why? Because this EU characteristic aligns with the empire Daniel describes.

For instance, the Bible says this final world empire will be a kingdom:

• Divided (Daniel 2:41)
• Made up of weak and strong nations (Daniel 2:42)
• Of nations trying to strengthen themselves by forming alliances with each other (Daniel 2:43)
• That fails to hold together or "gel," just as iron and clay don't stick together (Daniel 2:43)
• From among the ancient Roman Empire (Daniel 9:26-27)

A Global Empire

Right now, no empire rules the world, much less a global empire of ten nations or ten kings. This means the EU in its present form is not the global empire foreseen by Daniel. However, this doesn't mean it won't become that empire. Most likely, it's an early stage of what will become the Antichrist's global empire. Why? Again, the EU fits every one of the characteristics outlined above. The Antichrist's empire will be:

1) A Revived Roman Empire - The global empire from Daniel's vision is built on the ashes of the ancient Roman Empire. Why do I say this? First, the ruler of this global empire is the Antichrist. According to Daniel, the Antichrist will arise from the nation whose armies destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem in A.D. 70 (Daniel 9:26). That nation was Rome. So the global empire's ruler will come from Rome.

Second, when explaining Nebuchadnezzar's dream, Daniel described five empires that will rule Israel before Jesus returns. Those empires were Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, and a ten nation alliance (Daniel 2:36-45). He describes each successive kingdom, but he makes no distinction between the fourth kingdom and the ten nation alliance (Daniel 2:40-43). In other words, the ten nation alliance will be a new form of the fourth kingdom - Rome.

Later, Daniel has another vision. This time, he sees four beasts, each representing a world power that will conquer Israel (Daniel 7). We know the fourth beast is Rome because it conquers the third beast, Greece (Daniel 7:6). But we also know it will come back. Why? Because it "will rule the whole earth" (Daniel 7:23), and it will be ruled by the Antichrist (Daniel 7:24-25). Rome neither ruled the whole earth nor was it ruled by the Antichrist. Also, this empire is yet again described as a ten nation alliance (Daniel 7:20), and the ancient Roman Empire never took the form of a ten nation alliance.

Today, the EU sits on the ashes of the ancient Roman Empire. Ancient Rome occupied nearly every part of the current EU member nations, including Italy - home to Rome itself.

2) A Divided Alliance, Loosely Held Together - The global empire Daniel described will also be divided (Daniel 2:41). It will struggle to hold itself together, just as iron and clay struggle to hold themselves together (Daniel 2:43). Do we see this type of alliance when we look at the EU? Absolutely!

Since its inception, the EU has harbored an odd collection of politicians, governments, economies, currencies, and militaries. From the Schuman Declaration in 1950 to the Treaty of Lisbon in 2007, the rise of the EU has been marked by a struggle to agree on important issues. These include arguments over a single currency (the United Kingdom and Denmark opted out), disagreements over how to handle debt crises (the Greek bailouts), and disputes over open borders (the Syrian refugee crisis). Each step along the way, the EU struggled to survive.

Until recently, Brexit was the latest example. Critics pointed to Brexit as evidence the EU is not the coming global empire. But the exact opposite is true. Brexit is a perfect example of the EU's struggle to stay together, "just as iron and clay don't hold together." 

Now, the EU's dividing issue is how to deal with Russia. Arm Ukraine? To what extent? Ban Russian imports or pay for oil and gas in rubles? Yet again, EU member countries can't agree on a unified policy. It's the latest example of why the EU is a "divided alliance" (Daniel 2:41). It's a union of weak and strong nations struggling to bond together (Daniel 2:43), and this is exactly how the Bible described the final world empire.

3) An Alliance of Weak and Strong Nations - As I write this, the EU contains the world's 4th, 6th, and 7th largest economies (Germany, the United Kingdom, and France). And yes, I'm still counting the UK as part of the EU. When the pro-EU politicians come back into power (which is probably only one election away, given the massive food and fuel inflation we're seeing), and the UK remains out, then I might concede the UK is no longer part of the EU. Until then, I still count it as part of the EU. The EU also contains the world's 113th, 114th, and 132nd largest economies (Iceland, Cyprus, and Malta). 

When it comes to military spending, the EU contains the world's 4th, 6th, 7th, and 11th largest militaries (the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy). Yet, it also contains the world's 78th, 79th, 87th, and 90th (Lithuania, Bulgaria, Latvia, and Estonia).

Alone, not a single EU nation is a world power. Together, they are the world's greatest economic power. Combined, their military spending is second only to the United States. In fact, several European politicians have called for an EU army. Don't doubt it - the EU is a superpower. It's a revived Roman Empire made up of weak and strong nations. And this is what the Bible says will exist just before Jesus returns.

Vassal States of Russia?

In a world governed through the use of force, many geopolitical experts say the reality is the EU has become a collection of Russian satellite states. Despite all the grandstanding over Russia sanctions and threats of military force, the cold harsh reality is Europe needs Russia's fossil fuels. Without Russian oil and natural gas, the lights go out. Industry comes to a screeching halt. Come winter, people freeze. This means, on the world stage, the EU is in a position of weakness. 

They're beholden to Russia. They don't resemble anything close to a world superpower. Therefore, the conventional wisdom says Europe's power on the world stage is fading and will soon come to an end. But I would argue this is exactly the state the Bible says the final world empire will be in just prior to devouring the world. If the EU is the world empire described in the Book of Daniel, then its current weakness will soon transform into overwhelming strength. But how? 

We don't know for sure how this will happen, but we could be witnessing the seeds of this transformation right now. Ironically, the catalyst for change may very well be the state of weakness the EU finds itself in now. Its failure to speak with a single voice when dealing with the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and its reliance on the U.S. and NATO when it comes to defense have led to calls for the creation of a new executive position to formulate a common EU foreign policy and new calls for the creation of an EU army. 

In an opinion piece, the foreign ministries of Denmark, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic called for Europe's foreign ministers to "give the EU's new high representative greater leeway to respond to rapid developments when core European values are at stake and allow the EU to become more agile and proactive on foreign policy."

When the EU finally decides to assert itself on the world stage, it will become a mighty superpower. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has likely moved that day closer to reality. It highlights the weaknesses of current EU institutions. This will likely spur significant change in those institutions.

What Happens Next?

Look for EU advocates to push for greater unification, particularly in regard to a unified foreign policy backed with the threat of a EU military force. The current disagreements appear to show weakness, but this weakness won't last. All the volatility we've seen so far makes it more likely the EU is an early phase of the alliance Daniel described. It's the mirror image of the revived Roman Empire the Bible says will appear in the last days (Daniel 2:40-43, Daniel 7:23-24). 

It's made up of weak and strong nations (Daniel 2:42). It's divided against itself (Daniel 2:41), and the effort of these nations to come together and strengthen themselves is volatile and unstable (Daniel 2:43). These bible verses sound a lot like the EU, don't they? I sure think so. 

If the current crisis in Ukraine results in a single EU foreign policy and a unified EU military, the EU will take one more step toward becoming the global empire Daniel described. Keep looking up, because Jesus is coming!

If you feel like you wake up to a stunning shock daily, you're not alone. But this story was flying under the radar until a few people blew the whistle, starting with former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and journalist Leo Hohmann.

In a few days, the World Health Organization (WHO), with assistance from the Biden Administration, is set to vote on a provision that could give this organization control of the health directives of 193 countries around the world. If passed, it could allow communist China, which controls the WHO, to dictate our national health decisions.

Simply stated, in the name of public health, the Biden administration plans to literally hand over America's national sovereignty to the World Health Organization when the next health emergency hits--and such an emergency is waiting in the wings.

According to Politico's health beat reporters, the U.S. has been in "backdoor negotiations" with the WHO since January about a "treaty" that gives the WHO "greater powers to act" during a medical crisis.

Is this just another scheme by the global elite who are now very drunk on power and control? Even in one's wildest imagination they cannot comprehend the danger of a foreign entity seizing control of one of our most important and even precious possessions--a nation's healthcare.

Leo Hohmann writes, "By amending an existing health treaty called the International Health Regulations of 2005 (IHR), they are able to bypass U.S. Senate approval, which means no public debate and no media coverage of this sovereignty-killing power grab. It will all be done under the cloak of darkness in Switzerland, when the WHO World Health Assembly meets May 22-28."

Hohmann says, "If the United Nations World Health Organization gets the desired new powers that the Biden administration has proposed to give it, look out. These 13 proposed amendments would create a beast with teeth at the United Nations.

"Let's be clear on what's happening. They are building the infrastructure for global governance and strengthening the infrastructure that's already in place."

The writer states, "If Biden and his Health and Human Services chief, Xavier Baccera, get their way, the nations of the world will not have their sovereignty snatched away. No, they will hand it over.

Hohmann concludes, "The vote takes place May 22-28 in Geneva, Switzerland. All that's required is a simple majority vote and poof, there goes the sovereignty of 194 nations of the world over matters of 'public health emergencies,' which could include a wide range of issues, not just viruses."

Have you seen images of the Chinese locked in their apartments pleading for help? That can be duplicated around the world under the direction of the World Health Organization. The American lock down of a year ago is minor compared to what these globalists and the WHO plan for the world.

Simply stated by Bachmann, "The Biden administration is bringing amendments that would propose that all nations of the earth cede their sovereignty over national healthcare decisions to the World Health Organization."

Keep in mind that another 193 nations would also would lose their sovereignty to the World Health Organization as well. This organization is a subsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party who would then have authority over the U.S. and these many other nations.

The Gatestone Institute calls this a death trap for America. Gatestone Institute states that, "Unfortunately, this 'next pandemic' is neither far off nor a hypothetical 'conspiracy theory.' According to multiple credible reports from the U.S. Department of State, to the executive director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, Peter Jennings, China has been preparing for bio-warfare using pathogens for more than six years.

They conclude, "Unfortunately, the WHO already has proven itself to be a willing organ of China's Communist leaders. Providing it with international, legal binding authority over global pandemic response must never be allowed to happen. 

The Biden administration's amendment will make the U.S. legally obligated by international treaty to follow whatever the WHO decides.

The sweeping new powers will be invested in the Director-General of WHO to act on his own. The Director-General is Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, commonly known as Tedros. Tedros, the first non-physician director-general of WHO, is an extremely controversial Marxist activist and politician from Ethiopia installed by the Chinese Communist Party.

During the pandemic itself, the American public witnessed their federal, state, and local governments forcibly shut down tens of millions of businesses, churches, and schools in fear of a virus that, in reality, proved to have a survival rate of 99%. That authority would presumably fall to the WHO under the new treaty.

The World Health Organization is working on a Vaccination Credential Initiative to implement "vaccine certificates" that can be authenticated across international borders.

The globalists are having a field day! Gaining inches some days and miles the next, they are marching toward their one-world system more each day. The four horsemen of the apocalypse are out of the barn but cannot show up until the Church is Raptured.

Write your reps in Washington although even those on the right have been silent about this pending outrage by the WHO.

Prayer may be the best weapon we have at this point. It says in Psalm 2 that God sits in the Heavens and laughs at the schemes of wicked men.

Are We Being Set Up For The Great Delusion? Congress Opens Hearings On UFO's

Why have they suddenly decided to reveal so much?  For decades, a very thick cloak of secrecy has surrounded what the government really knows about UFOs, but now our politicians are talking openly about such things.  In fact, Congress just held their very first public hearing about UFOs in 50 years.  

So what has changed?  If anything happens in Washington, it is usually because someone has an underlying agenda.  Could it be possible that we are being prepared for some sort of a huge revelation?

To me, it is clear that something is up.

And I think that it says a lot that the power structures in our society are now treating this topic very seriously.  At this point, even CNN is admitting that UFOs are no longer being "relegated to the fringes of public policy"...

Key lawmakers warned at a House hearing on Tuesday that unidentified aerial phenomena -- popularly known as UFOs -- must be investigated and taken seriously as a potential threat to national security.

The event marked the first congressional public hearing on UFOs in decades, a high-profile moment for a controversial topic that has long been relegated to the fringes of public policy.

During the hearing on Tuesday, U.S. officials confessed that there have been at least 400 "unexplained sightings" by members of our military...

US SPY chiefs were grilled by lawmakers in a historic hearing on UFOs as dramatic videos of two sightings were shown.

Security officials were forced to admit there have been 400 unexplained sightings reported by the US military .

That number is very different from the number that we were given in 2021.

Late last year, the Pentagon told us that there were just 144 unexplained sightings.

But now we are being told that the real number is nearly triple the original number.

And on Tuesday we were also told that there have been "11 near misses" with U.S. military aircraft...

They also confessed there have been 11 near misses with unidentified objects and US military aircraft, and they are probing incidents where craft may have attempted "jam" US planes.

So let me get this straight.

11 different times our aircraft were almost hit by other aircraft that we simply cannot identify?

Why weren't we told about this a long time ago?

Of course there is so much more that the Pentagon is choosing not to tell us.  According to Politico, one Defense Department official is freely admitting that there is a great deal that is not being publicly revealed...

"Without forcing peoples' hand, it is going to be very difficult to uncover legacy ventures and programs that we know about based on oral interviews we dug up," said a Defense Department official who is involved in the new effort but was not authorized to speak publicly. "There has to be a forcing mechanism."

"There has to be something to hold people accountable but also give them a chance to come out clean for a period of time," the official added, noting that in his experience the Pentagon oversight group has been "stonewalled."

That same official went on to explain that the people that are refusing to come forward are protecting some "very interesting information".

I would definitely like to know what that "very interesting information" is.

Wouldn't you?

I think that most of the population would be completely floored if everything that the government knows was finally put on the table.

According to one member of Congress, our military has actually recovered physical wreckage from a UFO that crashed...

A CONGRESSMAN has claimed the US has wreckage recovered from a UFO as the phenomena takes centre stage today in Washington.

Rep. Tim Burchett - a long term advocate for disclosure - told The Sun Online he has been informed by reliable sources that "material" has been recovered from the objects or craft that have been reported in skies over the US.

So why can't the American people know about this?

What are they trying to hide from us?

Burchett says that he can't say more because this information was given to him in a "classified setting"...

The Tennessee Republican declined to elaborate further as he said the information had been passed to him in a "classified setting".

"I've been told by multiple sources we have recovered something from these [crafts or objects]," Mr Burchett told The Sun Online.

It is so frustrating to hear about this and know that we will probably never be given the specific details.

The American people deserve the truth, but so much is being purposely hidden.

Lue Elizondo, a former senior staffer at the Pentagon, says that there has been much speculation in military circles about the true source of these unidentified craft...

'People jump to speculation that it's from the Pleiades or something like that, when in fact one of the hypothesis when I was in AATIP was this could be as natural to Earth as we are, but we are just at a point where technologically we aren't advanced enough we can collect information on it and begin to try to figure out what it is,' he said.

'There's been another hypothesis that these things are possibly from underwater and as outlandish as it may seem, there is some anecdotal evidence that supports all of these observations, so what we want to do is try to get as much data on the table as we can before we start eliminating,' said Elizondo.

He said way too much right there, because he got way too close to details that we aren't supposed to know about.

If he keeps talking like that, he could end up being killed.

Because even though our officials are now talking more openly about UFOs, there are still many things that they would very much prefer to keep secret.

These unidentified aircraft are very real, and every year they are spotted thousands upon thousands of times all over the globe.

Now that this subject is being brought out into the spotlight,  many Christians believe it could be part of a larger plan that could involve a 'great deception or delusion' that scripture talks about in the last days.  

That deception ties in directly with the rise of the Antichrist and is not so much based on aliens from another planet - but from the spiritual dimension and more specifically, demonic, in origin.

Is An EU Army On The Horizon?

The special "Future of the EU" Conference came to a conclusion a few days ago.

There may have been a familiar veneer of "public consultation", but the aim of the conference was simple: tell the EU to do what they've already been planning to do for years.

If that wasn't clear from the outset, it became unavoidably obvious a couple of days ago when the conference's list of 49 "recommendations" was published on April 27th.

We have picked out some of the more troubling ones to discuss.

There's number 21, for example, which suggests:

that the EU improve its capacity to take speedy and effective decisions, notably in Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), speaking with one voice and acting as a truly global player, projecting a positive role in the world and making a difference in response to any crisis

This sentiment is repeated in Number 39, where the conference claims there is a need to...

Improve the EU's decision-making process in order to ensure the EU's capability to act, while taking into account the interests of all Member States and guaranteeing a transparent and understandable process for the citizens

And they intend to do that by changing the voting system...

All issues decided by way of unanimity should be decided by way of a qualified majority

Taken together these measures would pretty much eradicate the national veto, and see member states potentially subject to legislation imposed against their will. A huge knock to national sovereignty.

They also want to:

strengthen the role of the High Representative to ensure that the EU speaks with one voice

Which is a roundabout way of saying "centralising power".

Most concerning, though, is recommendation 23:

We propose that the EU continue to act to promote dialogue and guarantee peace and a rules-based international order,36 strengthening multilateralism and building on long-standing EU peace initiatives which contributed to its award of the Nobel Prize in 2012, while strengthening its common security

Which sounds harmless enough (apart from the shameless self-congratulatory reference to the Nobel Peace Prize), except they intend to achieve these ends using a new EU Army...

The EU's joint armed forces that shall be used for self-defence purposes and preclude aggressive military action of any kind, with a capacity to provide support in times of crises including natural catastrophes. Outside European borders it could be deployed in exceptional circumstances preferably under a legal mandate from the UN Security Council and thus in compliance with international law38, and without competing with or duplicating NATO and respecting different national relationships with NATO and undertaking an assessment of EU relations with NATO in the context of the debate on the EU's strategic autonomy.

A potential EU Army has been a talking point for years, but most often simply dismissed as Euro-sceptics scaremongering. In fact, further down in point 21, the conference adds:

The EU should reflect on how to counter disinformation and propaganda in an objective and factual way

Somewhat ironic, because as recently 2 or 3 years ago, the "EU Army" itself was described as "misinformation". A "lie" spread by "Brexiteers" according to the Guardian, or "as true as saying Elvis lives" according to Emily Thornberry.

Following the Brexit vote, everyone from Politico to the Atlantic Council was attempting to dispel the "myth" of the EU Army.

The EU itself published an article on their official site debunking the "EU Army myth" in June of 2019.

Then, just last month, the EU voted to create a "rapid reaction military force" of 5000 troops.

Funny how things change.

Now, all the outlets which had previously "fact-checked" the idea of an EU Army, or dismissed it as a "conspiracy theory" are discussing its existence as more or less inevitable.

Foreign Policy asks "Is an EU Army coming?", while This Week is weighing the pros and cons, and the New European suggests "Maybe we need an EU Army after all".

This might seem like a sudden volte-face, but to anyone paying attention it is anything but surprising.

Despite the waves of propaganda calling the plan a myth, the fact of the matter is that prominent political voices from Macron to Merkel to Juncker have been calling for an EU Army for years.

The years-old agenda was given new life by the US's withdrawal from Afghanistan. The carefully-engineered shambles was said to "highlight the need for an autonomous European military".

The story was that the US had withdrawn in chaos and abandoned their native allies, and an EU military - filled with happy-clappy European empathy, not heartless American pragmatism - would have stayed longer and air-lifted more people to safety.

These rumblings grew louder after Russia launched its "special operation" in Ukraine, with Foreign Policy claiming the "war in Ukraine has turned the EU into a serious military player", and Investigate Europe pointing out that "Putin is doing more to bolster European military unity than decades of EU initiatives".

Outside of the propaganda narratives, though, the pure and simple truth is that the EU Army is already a semi-reality.

As this article in the Defense Post points out, "the framework of a unified European military is already in place".

EuroCorps has existed since 1992, and is described as "a force for the EU and NATO". Essentially it's a link between the NATO command structure and the EU. It's a token force, and barely used, but sits there waiting to be adapted and expanded.

The Berlin Plus Agreement, signed between NATO and the EU in 2002, permits the EU to draw on NATO resources (Vehicles, weapons etc) to participate in conflicts in which NATO chose not to participate.

In 2018 the EU launched the European Intervention Initiative,

Only last March, the EU launched their new "Strategic Compass" initiative, alongside creating the "European Peace Facility", a 5 BILLION Euro "off-budget" project designed to "enhance the EU's ability to act as a global security provider".

You can see how these documents allow for a smooth segue from "NATO-backed US Imperialism" to "EU Peacekeeping" in the geopolitical narrative.

The EU Army will be sold to the US as "European partners stepping up to the plate" and taking some of the burden of "policing the world", while in the EU/UK it will be billed as the EU "asserting its independence from US foreign policy". Neither will be true.

It might signal a genuine change in the paradigm, a relocation of the seat of power further East as the crumbling US is abandoned and the heart of global hegemony shifts towards the EU. Maybe.

Either way, the end result will be the same people spending our money on the same weapons, pursuing the same policies, telling the same lies...just with a new name over the door.

That was always the plan.

The pieces of the EU Army already exist, they just needed a reason to be assembled.

And thanks the US's "chaotic" withdrawal from Afghanistan, and Russia's "Special Operation" in Ukraine, it looks like they've got one.

"What happened in Afghanistan was a defining moment," said Nathalie Loiseau, who chairs the European Parliament's subcommittee on security and defense.

When President Biden failed to keep U.S. troops in Afghanistan past the Aug. 31 deadline, European leaders felt this forced them to end their evacuation efforts early, despite thousands of citizens and allies still trying to escape the country.

Some of Europe's most prominent politicians have argued for years that to become a true global power, the E.U. needs its own defense force, one that is independent of the U.S.-European NATO alliance and does not rely on the United States.

Former President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, has suggested Europe transform itself into what he called a "superpower" that could act as a "global security power". He went on to say, "the Americans, to whom we owe much... will not ensure the security of the Europeans in the long term. We have to do this ourselves...."

"The only way forward is to combine our forces and strengthen not only our capacity, but also our will to act," Borrell said following a meeting of E.U. defense ministers in Slovenia.

French President Emmanuel Macron is one of the biggest supporters of more integration and has been calling for a "true European army" since he took power.

Armin Laschet of Germany said recently that Europe must be strengthened "such that we never have to leave it up to Americans.

The idea of an EU army idea has been around since the days of Churchill and seems to be revived every decade.  While most attempts have failed there are some followers of Bible Prophecy who see the potential for a future 10 nation alliance out of Europe to fulfill the prophecies of the Book of Daniel & Revelation in which a 10 nation alliance from Europe (the Beast of Revelation) becomes the seat of power for the Antichrist on his way to global domination.

Some have speculated about whether these prophecies in Revelation refer to 10 nations, 10 world regions, or simply 10 leaders. When the European Union first emerged and eventually grew to 10 member nations, prophecy students were sitting up and taking notice, until the EU grew past 10 nations (current EU members total 27 nations). Then the excitement died down considerably as Europe failed to demonstrate any united military capability.

Now with talk of a fresh desire to merge military co-operation, people are starting to pay attention again.  Especially as it coincides with so many other important prophetic events happening such as the shadow war between Iran & Israel, the players for Ezekiel 38 all in alignment (including Afghanistan), the advancement of technology that could fulfill the mark of the beast, natural disasters, the global impact of disease and the list goes on and on. 

There are more questions and speculation than anything else at this point regarding the future of the European Union but with so many prophetic events converging at this time it is time to be paying attention more now than ever before.

Coincidence Or Conspiracy? Why Are So Many Food Processing Plants Catching Fire?

Everyone can see that something really strange appears to be happening, and now even Tucker Carlson is talking about it on television.  View this important segment below:

For months, unusual fires have been erupting at important food industry facilities all over America.  Last Thursday, I put together a list of 16 major fires that have occurred just since the start of the year. 

Unfortunately, since I wrote that article a couple more "mysterious incidents" have taken place.  Very early on Saturday, firefighters were called out to battle a fire at a General Mills facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa...

An early morning fire at General Mills led first responders to the roof of the company to attack the flames from above. The call came in around 3:45am on Saturday at the plant located at 4800 Edgewood Road SW. First responders discovered hot spots where a vent stack makes contact with the roof.

Steam and smoke were already visible. Crews reached the roof and confirmed the location of the fire below them with the help of thermal imaging. Firefighters removed roofing material and found the flames working their way through the ceiling and traveling with the vent stack.

Oddly, this fire erupted less than 48 hours after a plane crashed at a General Mills facility in Covington, Georgia...

Investigators spent Friday at the General Mills plant in Covington combing through the wreckage of a deadly plane crash that happened the previous evening.

A twin-engine Cessna crashed into several semi trailers at remote part of the cereal plant on Thursday evening killing two people, the Covington Police Department said.

Is it just a "coincidence" that there were two major disasters at General Mills facilities within 48 hours of one another?

That is what some would have us believe.

Of course there have been a whole bunch of other "coincidences" happening lately too.

Less than a week ago, the headquarters of Azure Standard burned to the ground in a massive fire.  CEO David Stelzer is admitting that all Azure Market liquid products will be out of stock for the foreseeable future as a result...

He also added, "For our customers, three primary product groups are affected due to the destroyed automated liquid pour facility, fruit packing facilities and carob products facilities." He continued, "Because of this, we will experience out-of-stock status for Azure Market oils, honey and vinegars - basically any Azure Market liquid product - as well as our carob products for the short term. We are not yet at fruit harvest, so no immediate impact will be experienced from the loss of our fruit packing facility. None of the products we distribute for our vendors will be affected," he concluded.

And just a few days before that, a "four-alarm fire" destroyed a very important food processing facility in Salinas, California...

Authorities Thursday lifted all evacuation and shelter-in-place orders in an area of Salinas where a four-alarm fire sparked a day earlier at a food processing plant, prompting fears of a possible explosion and hazardous plume of ammonia, city officials said.

The fire was initially reported at about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Taylor Farms processing facility on Abbott Street and prompted an order early Thursday for evacuations affecting an estimated 2,700 people and a shelter-in-place order affecting an estimated 35,000 people.

If these were isolated incidents, perhaps we never would have even taken notice of them.

But they aren't isolated incidents.

In fact, fires have been mysteriously erupting at America's food processing facilities for many months.

Strangely, the latest fires happened during the same week that the FBI admitted that America's farmers are now being specifically targeted by ransomware attacks...

A new warning right now for local farmers.

The FBI says you need to be on alert for ransomware attacks. As KDKA money editor Jon Delano explains, those attacks on farmers could impact the rest of us at the grocery store.

Whether it's a dairy or poultry farm, a cattle farm, or a farm that grows grain, farming is a key part of Pennsylvania's economy.

Could there be some relation between these two stories?

For now, the FBI is not saying.

And most of the talking heads on television are assuring us that there is nothing to be concerned about and that everything will be just fine.

Meanwhile, more fires continue to make the news.

On Sunday, it was being reported that "nearly a dozen wildfires" had just roared through key agricultural areas of Nebraska...

Sunday was far from a day of rest for firefighters across much of the state, as they continued to mop up nearly a dozen wildfires and remained alert for more.

By Sunday morning, the Road 702 Fire in the Cambridge area covered 50,000 acres -- a much larger area than the 33,000 acres burned in the April 7-9 fire in Gosper and Furnas counties. A management team from the Rocky Mountain area took command of the battle at 7 a.m. Sunday morning.

And a total of 20 wildfires are ripping across New Mexico as I write this article...

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has signed emergency declarations as 20 wildfires continued to burn Sunday in nearly half of the state's drought-stricken 33 counties.

I don't know how all of the things that I have discussed in this article tie together.

But what I do know is that all of them will have an impact on our food supply.

As I have discussed previously, UN officials are warning that we are heading into the worst global food crisis since World War II.

Do you remember when millions of people died of starvation in the 1980s and there were endless appeals on television asking us to give to the hungry?

Well, authorities are telling us that what is coming is going to be much worse than that.

A "perfect storm" of factors is combining to create the greatest stress on global food supplies that we have seen in modern times.

But most of the talking heads on television want you to believe that everything is under control and that better times are just around the corner.

You can believe them if you want, but my recommendation is to get prepared for this crisis while you still can.

World Economic Forum Calls For Digital One World Currency

Dr. Phillipa "Pippa" Malmgren, a technology entrepreneur and economist, spoke at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum being held in Davos, Switzerland, this week, dropping a bombshell prediction that the world is well on its way to implementing an electronic banking system that would open every transaction of every person to government scrutiny.

"I was very privileged. My father was the adviser to Nixon when we came off the gold standard in '71, so I was brought up with a kind of inside view of how very important the financial structure is to absolutely everything else," Malmgren said.

"And what we're seeing in the world today is I think we are on the brink of a dramatic change where we are about to - and I'll say this boldly - we're about to abandon the traditional system of money and accounting and introduce a new one, and the new one - the new accounting - is what we call blockchain."

"It means digital," she continued. "It means having an almost perfect record of every single transaction that happens in the economy, which will give us far greater clarity over what's going on."
Unlike current cryptocurrencies, the system Malmgren describes will give the central banks complete control over people's money. The banks will be able to track every transaction and even control how it is spent, blocking it from being transferred to people or organizations it deems undesirable. 

This may sound like a dystopian sci-fi scenario of the distant future, but this was already seen in Canada when, without a court order, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau used emergency powers to order banks to freeze accounts of individuals who donated to the Freedom Convoy. Crowdfunding sites were also forced to return millions of dollars that had been collected for the truckers. 

The Biden administration also accessed bank records to track bank account debit card or credit card purchases made in Washington, D.C, during the Jan. 6 riot investigation. In October, even greater government overreach was avoided when the Biden administration backed down on a proposal to direct the IRS to collect additional data on every bank account that sees more than $600 in annual transactions.

Implementing such a global digital currency system would require the establishment of a global digital currency and a global digital identity for every person on the planet. 

Rafi Farber, an Israeli economist and financial journalist who blogs and videos under the pen The End Game Investor, combines Torah knowledge with financial wisdom. He compared the New World Order and a global digital currency system to the Tower of Babel.

"Blockchain technology is just an excel spreadsheet that is spread around so everyone can see it," Farber explained. "They are extremely trackable. This is the same as what banks are already doing. Banks and governments are always looking for a way to monitor transactions, and blockchain technology is not a new thing. The governments are already doing this. But they are forced to look at the transactions from multiple sources."

"If this becomes centralized, it will just make it easier for the government."

"The practical difference in switching from what we are using now, which is mostly digital anyway, to central bank digital banking is that cash will be outlawed. When you outlaw cash, every single thing becomes trackable. Nothing is too small."

#1 One of France's most important government officials is telling us that we should brace ourselves for an "extremely serious" global food crisis...

France's Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said the EU must get to grips with the prospect that the war in Ukraine could prompt an "extremely serious" global food crisis.

#2 Joe Biden recently admitted that food shortages are "going to be real", and his administration is now openly using the word "famine" to describe what is coming...

The Biden administration is worried Russia's invasion of Ukraine will cause famine in parts of the world, White House Council of Economic Advisers Chair Cecilia Rouse told CNBC on Friday.

#3 It is being reported that food prices at German supermarkets will soon go up between 20 and 50 percent...

Just days after Germany reported the highest inflation in generation (with February headline CPI soaring at a 7.6% annual pace and blowing away all expectations), giving locals a distinctly unpleasant deja vu feeling even before the Russian invasion of Ukraine broke what few supply chains remained and sent prices even higher into the stratosphere...

... on Monday, Germany will take one step toward a return of the dreaded Weimar hyperinflation, when according to the German Retail Association (HDE), consumers should prepare for another wave of price hikes for everyday goods and groceries with Reuters reporting that prices at German retail chains will explode between 20 and 50%

#4 Rationing has already begun in Spain...

In Spain, the country started experiencing sporadic shortages of different products like eggs, milk and other dairy products almost immediately following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. In early March, major supermarkets like Mercadona and Makro began rationing sunflower oil.

#5 Rationing has also already started in Greece...

In Greece, at least four national supermarket chains have started rationing food products like flour and sunflower oil due to critically low supplies caused by the crippled supply chains coming out of Russia and Ukraine.

#6 The head of BlackRock is warning that this will be the very first time this generation "is going to go into a store and not be able to get what they want"...

On Tuesday, BlackRock Inc. President Rob Kapito told an audience in Austin, Texas, hosted by the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association, that an entire younger generation is quickly finding out what it means to suffer from shortages, according to Bloomberg.

"For the first time, this generation is going to go into a store and not be able to get what they want," Kapito said. "And we have a very entitled generation that has never had to sacrifice."

#7 Since this time last year, some fertilizer prices have gone up by as much as 300 percent.

#8 Many farmers in Africa will not be able to afford fertilizer at all this year, and it is being projected that this will reduce agricultural production by an amount capable of feeding "100 million people"...

With prices tripling over the past 18 months, many farmers are considering whether to forgo purchases of fertilizers this year. That leaves a market long touted for its growth potential set to shrink by almost a third, according to Sebastian Nduva, program manager at researcher group AfricaFertilizer.Org.

That could potentially curb cereals output by 30 million tons, enough to feed 100 million people, he said.

#9 Russia is normally one of the biggest global exporters of fertilizer...

Russia is a key global player in natural gas, a major input to fertilizer production. Higher gas prices, and supply cuts, will further drive fertilizer prices higher. Russia is one of the biggest exporters of the three major groups of fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium). Physical supply cuts could further inflate fertilizer prices.

#10 In a typical year, Russia and Ukraine collectively account for approximately 30 percent of all global wheat exports.

#11 Half of Africa's wheat imports usually come from either Russia or Ukraine.

#12 Other nations rely on wheat exports from Russia and Ukraine even more than Africa does...

Armenia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Eritrea have imported virtually all of their wheat from Russia and Ukraine and must find new sources. But they are competing against much larger buyers, including Turkey, Egypt, Bangladesh and Iran, which have obtained more than 60 percent of their wheat from the two warring countries.


#13 One Russian official is warning that his nation may soon only export food to "friendly nations"...

A Russian government official has threatened that Russia will limit its vital food exports to only nations it considers "friendly".

Dmitry Medvedev, a senior Russian security official who previously served as the nation's president, has threatened that Russia may soon cut off the West from food exports.

#14 On Friday, it was announced that another 5 million egg-laying chickens in Iowa would have to be put down because of the bird flu.

#15 The death toll from the bird flu in Iowa alone will be pushed beyond 13 million as a result of this latest incident.

#16 Overall, this is what the total national death toll from the bird flu currently looks like: "22 million egg-laying chickens, 1.8 million broiler chickens, 1.9 million pullet and other commercial chickens, and 1.9 million turkeys".

#17 China's agricultural minister has announced that the winter wheat harvest in China could be "the worst in history".

#18 We are being warned that the winter wheat harvest in the United States will be "disastrous" due to severe drought.

#19 During a recent interview, one prominent U.S. farmer stated that most Americans won't like it when "your grocery bill is up $1,000.00 a month".

#20 The head of the UN World Food program says that what the planet is now facing is unlike anything that we have seen since World War II...

"Ukraine has only compounded a catastrophe on top of a catastrophe," said David M. Beasley, the executive director of the World Food Program, the United Nations agency that feeds 125 million people a day. "There is no precedent even close to this since World War II."

We have been warned over and over again that this day was coming, and now it is here.

Like I said at the beginning of this article, I hope that you will share this information with as many people as possible, because this crisis really is going to affect every man, woman and child on the entire planet.

In my entire lifetime, I have never seen anything like this, and conditions are getting worse with each passing day.
