Preparing The Way For Antichrist? Civil Unrest Set To Surge Worldwide

Soaring food, energy, and shelter inflation have led to what could be a new era of civil unrest worldwide. Pockets of unrest have been observed in Sri Lanka, Peru, Kenya, Ecuador, Iran, and Europe. New research forecasts a broader wave of discontent is just ahead.

Earlier this year, Rockefeller Foundation President Rajiv warned that a "massive, immediate food crisis" is nearing. The UN said this summer that the world is "marching towards starvation" with an increased likelihood of civil unrest and political violence.

Making sense of the impending global turmoil is Verisk Maplecroft, a UK-based risk consulting and intelligence firm. They have just published an updated version of the Civil Unrest Index (CUI), covering seven years of data, showing the last quarter saw the most countries ever since the index was created move higher in civil unrest risks (101 of the 198 countries tracked by the firm saw increased risks of civil unrest).

"The impact is evident across the globe, with popular discontent over rising living costs emerging on the streets of developed and emerging markets alike, stretching from the EU, Sri Lanka, Peru to Kenya, Ecuador, and Iran, " Verisk wrote in the report, adding conditions are worsening as the frequency of protests and labor strikes could accelerate into fall.

"Although there have been several high-profile and large-scale protests during the first half of 2022, the worst is undoubtedly yet to come," the firm warned.

Verisk noted Algeria has the highest likelihood of projected civil unrest over the next half year because of rising inflation. Other areas include Europe, mainly due to energy hyperinflation decimating household finances.

When the people's livelihoods are affected -- watch out -- that's an environment ripe for social unrest. It's already happening in Prague and could spread like wildfire.

More than 70,000 Czechs protested over the weekend in Prague, the capital, demanding the ruling coalition take a neutral stance on the Ukraine war to ensure energy supplies from Russia aren't cut off ahead of winter. Protesters are outraged at the European Union for sanctions against Russia that have sparked soaring electricity bills and triggered a cost-of-living crisis. 

"Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany, and Ukraine are all among the states with the biggest projected increases in risk," the report said. 

"Only a significant reduction in global food and energy prices can arrest the negative global trend in civil unrest risk. Recession fears are mounting, and inflation is expected to be worse in 2023 than in 2022," Verisk said.

Energy prices however took another blow over the weekend as it was announced Russian gas flowing toward Europe won't be coming back anytime soon, as Gazprom announced that it had "completely halted" transport of gas to Nord Stream until a previously undetected oil leakage is rectified.

That could takes hours, days... or months.  The "shocking development" is a massive blow to Europe, which is scrambling to fill up its gas storage ahead of winter and which has been trying to guess Moscow's next steps in the energy war for weeks. It is unlikely Germany can last very long without these supplies and is already taking drastic action to reduce energy consumption throughout the country, however it may not be enough.

The question also remains if central banks can arrest inflation with the most aggressive interest rate hikes in decades. If not, then most experts expect the next six months are likely to be even more disruptive than earlier this year.

We are watching civilization crumble all around us and we are rapidly plummeting into an abyss of anarchy, madness and chaos, and the days ahead are not going to be pleasant.

Many Bible prophecy scholars speculate that such worldwide anarchy could open the door to civilization crying out for someone to save us from ourselves.  Instead of looking to God, society will turn to yet another politician who will offer promises of peace and solutions to the world's problems but instead it will begin one of the most terrible times in all of world history.

Head Of New IRS Armed Enforcement Wing Targeted Pro-Israel, Conservative Groups
Many people are concerned about the White House beefing up the IRS. This concern grew when it was announced that Nikole Flax was chosen to lead the new "centralized office." Flax has a history of "special concerns" about organizations whose activities relating to Israel contradicted the current policies of the US Government.
 Critics have slammed the passage of the $430 billion Inflation Reduction Act during an inflationary period claiming it will do precisely the opposite of what its name implies. But in addition to the cost, the program will add 87,000 new agents to the Internal Revenue Service, and the newly appointed head of this not-so-small army of tax agents has a track record of partisan operations.
The Inflation Reduction Act is not cheap and is expected to raise taxes by some $300 billion over the next decade, mainly by creating two new taxes on corporations. The Tax Foundation estimates these new taxes will reduce the long-run size of the U.S. economy by 0.2%, eliminate 29,000 jobs and do nothing to tame inflation. 
The new law allocated roughly $80 billion in new spending for the IRS. As plans to start spending the considerable sum of money began, the Department of the Treasury and IRS said that these new positions are for staffing of various roles. The agency would not increase its focus on people earning under $400,000.

As Western governments quake in the face of Russian nuclear threats, they are on the verge of striking a deal that will give Iran that same power over them.

Even after six months of war in Europe, they cannot seem to grasp the parallels between the two. Putin risked invading Ukraine because of Western weakness and appeasement, naively welcoming Russia back into the family of nations after it devoured large parts of Ukraine in 2014, while at the same time filling its war chests with ever more billions of euros from energy exports to Europe.

Iran has been waging war non-stop on the West and its allies in the Middle East since the Islamic Revolution in 1979. Appeasing Tehran by endorsing its nuclear programme and handing it billions of dollars from sanctions relief will likewise empower and encourage the ayatollahs to greater aggression even than hitherto. 

These are the effects of the proposed nuclear deal brokered by the EU, Russia and China. Why is it brokered by the EU, Russia and China? Because the United States was outrageously banned from direct negotiations by Tehran. It is not outrageous that Iran demanded it, but that the US tolerated its own exclusion.

The feeble mantra of the apologists for President Joe Biden's JCPOA 2.0, a desperate attempt to revive President Barack Obama's failed agreement from 2015 that paved the way to an Iranian nuclear bomb, is "a bad deal is better than no deal". Well, no it is not, and the deal that is about to emerge will be even worse. The argument of the "bad" dealers is that it buys time for the West, with Micawberish optimism that "something will turn up".

At the "Summit for the Future" in 2023, the UN, together with civil society and the private sector, are expected to agree on shared principles for an "open, free and secure digital future for all".

This includes promoting a "trustworthy Internet" with accountability criteria for discrimination and misleading content as well as regulating Artificial Intelligence to be consistent with "our shared global values". However, what this means in practice is that the "values" must correlate with the beliefs held sacred by the UN and WEF (The Ministry of Truth).

Secretary-General António Guterres writes in Our Common Agenda that one of the risks of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is "the use of digital surveillance and manipulation to influence behavior and control populations."

This very legitimate concern, however, is more about the fact that the UN does not want this technology to fall into the hands of forces that they themselves or their partners do not control. This is because the whole idea behind the "Global Digital Compact" is to be able to control the world's population and align its values ​​to be in line with the UN's and WEF's interpretations of the 17 Global Goals of Agenda 2030.

One such example is "The seventh commitment in Our Common Agenda is about improving digital collaboration through the creation of a "Global Digital Compact". This means that all people should be connected to the Internet, that liability criteria for discrimination and misleading content should be developed, that artificial intelligence should be regulated, and the establishment of the "Digital Commons" as a global public good. However, the whole thing is more comprehensive than that. By extension, this constitutes the construction of a digital World Brain intended to regulate and control all human life to keep it within the planetary boundaries.

The commitment is one of the more central ones and is about creating a consensus on the need for total digitization. This builds on the recommendations made in the report The Age of Digital Interdependence (2019) by the UN High Level Panel on Digital Cooperation led by Melinda Gates (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) and Jack Ma from the Ali Baba Group and in collaboration with actors such as the World Economic Forum and their Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Another example is the initiative Coalition for Digital Environmental Sustainability (CODES), which was formed after the launching of the UN Roadmap for Digital Cooperation in March 2021 with the aim of promoting "digital sustainability". The coalition currently gathers around 1,000 stakeholders from over 100 countries.

CODES works to implement collective system changes and remove any obstacles standing in the way of the total digitization that they believe is needed to implement the sustainability goals.

During the environmental conference in June 2022, CODES presented its action plan which aims to inform about the priorities included in the Global Digital Compact. 

In order to deal with the negative environmental and social effects from energy use, greenhouse gases, material use, consumption, digital divides, violations, and "incorrect information", it is proposed, among other things, that platforms for reporting and comparing companies' greenhouse gas emissions and that digital product passports be introduced with the aim of being able to follow a product entire life cycle. 

The latter is part of the circular economy and will eventually also be used on us humans. It is a new ecosystem in the making where everything is to be connected in order to measure degree of sustainability. A World Brain that analyzes and keeps track of everything and everyone.

Among the examples of how problems with incorrect information should be handled, Facebook's "Climate Science Center" is highlighted. The climate issue is the cornerstone of the agenda. As of the Paris Agreement 2015, the science is considered to be settled and no more debate or nuance in this field is to be tolerated.

The spread of misinformation about planetary sustainability topics such as climate change, biodiversity loss or pollution can undermine collective action and trust in institutions as well as magnify polarization and mistrust between divided groups.

Instead, "incorrect information" on the web must be corrected and visitors instead provided with the United Nations' "verified" climate information.

On the website, they write that two-thirds of carbon dioxide emissions are linked to human consumption and that they will "creatively leverage technology and partnerships to increase green awareness and green actions among 1 billion green digital champions worldwide by the year 2025". The citizens, who according to The Green Digital Finance Alliance want immediate change, should be encouraged to make climate-smart choices through a rating system. 

Every purchase is registered and assessed according to the climate benefit. In this way, the necessary behavioral changes will be achieved.

It should come as no surprise then that the founders behind the Green Digital Finance Alliance also helped develop the Chinese social credit system. Apparently the Chinese system might just be a precursor to what is planned on a global scale.

Bible prophecy scholars have long examined the connection between the United Nations quest for a global world order and the system of "The Beast" described in the book of Revelation.  The current plans by the UN would certainly seem to provide a pathway to many of the systems that will be in place as described in the End Times.

In what might have been an ominous sign of things to come, in December of 2021 a statue was placed outside the United Nations building in New York City that caused a lot of buzz in the Christian community for it's imagery. The image looks like a kind of lion or leopard with wings and rainbow-toned coloring. The art piece is said to be "a guardian of international peace and security."

Several passages of Scripture have been associated with the "guardian of peace and security" statue at the UN building. Daniel 7:2-4 relates a vision of beasts, representing governments; one is depicted with a body like a lion and wings like an eagle. Revelation 13:2 symbolically refers to a beast being given power and authority by Satan. First Thessalonians 5:3 speaks of the last days when people will say, "There is peace and security," only to experience unexpected disaster.

This statue resembling end-times images, erected at the headquarters of the world governing body, named with a phrase directly tied to the End Times... makes you wonder if it is more than coincidence?

The UN Global Digital Compact is clearly a stealth plan to track everyone and everything with 'climate scores' in the name of the greater good but it is much more than that.  

Many climate activists would like to see the Green Revolution become the Green Religion where we put climate worship above all else. If you don't bow down and worship this climate religion and it's regulations you will be excluded from daily life or possibly face fines/prison.  Many of the issues that issues that surfaced during covid over personal freedoms and rights could be magnified to an even greater degree under a climate emergency mentality.

Covid came very close to pushing the entire earth to look for a universal health response (rules & regulations) where all nations would reach an agreement through the United Nations. Most nations agreed that there had to be a coordinated response - a single nation left out or going rogue could disrupt the entire response.  Look for that same type of mentality to take over with climate issues...and it makes sense.  Why should be we shut down our economy while China produces even more pollution at our expense economically?

Only 'UN approved" content on issues relating to climate (and more?) will be allowed on the Internet.  Once a system using AI is in place that monitors all online content - it's ministry of truth can blacklist anything it disagrees with - all in the name of misinformation.  We have already seen this with shadow banning of Conservatives on Facebook and Twitter.  

Climate deniers are already banned from most social media platforms.  All consumable products will be part of the 'digital commons' and tracked for sustainability. The UN will control what you buy and sell according to their rules (Revelation 13)

The UN has even used Agenda 21 and the Millennium Development Goals to divide the earth into 10 regional groupings or spheres of influence to help administer climate goals.  Revelation warns that in the last days the beast system will have control over 10 kings/nations/powers...

The UN has one person, a Secretary-General who administers the powers of the UN. While this position has been fairly powerless in times past - that could change due to a global crisis.  Could a future world leader, the head of the UN, be the Antichrist?  

In a nutshell, the plan is for all human life to be regulated by the UN - just look at their own documents.  Is the UN the final beast system of the end times?  Only time will tell.

Chinese forces are gathering directly across from the Kinmen Islands.  Those islands are currently controlled by Taiwan, and China may be preparing a move to grab them.  If China actually does such a thing, all hell could break loose.  Taiwan could potentially start launching missiles at any Chinese units that try to invade the Kinmen Islands, and if that happens the Chinese would inevitably return fire.  

In addition, there is no way that the Biden administration would allow such a move by China to go unanswered.  Earlier this year the entire world was shocked when Russian forces moved into Ukraine, and we could be right on the verge of another historic moment that changes everything.

Of course we would not be talking about this right now if Nancy Pelosi had not gone to Taiwan.

Over the past couple of days, there is one question that I keep pondering.

Why did Nancy Pelosi really go to Taiwan?

Top politicians such as Pelosi usually have very selfish motives for many of the decisions that they make.

Does Pelosi think that this trip will make her look "presidential"?  Could she actually be planning a run for the presidency if Joe Biden can't do it in 2024?

She is very close to the end of her career, and so maybe she figures that she should give it a shot before she is gone for good.

In any event, Pelosi's stunt has absolutely infuriated the Chinese, and they are promising that there will be severe consequences for "those who play with fire"...

The Communists raged Pelosi's visit was a "serious violation" of their sovereignty and vowed to take "all necessary measures".

"These moves, like playing with fire, are extremely dangerous. Those who play with fire will perish by it," said the China's foreign ministry.

A lot of people expected the Chinese to respond militarily as soon as Pelosi arrived in Taiwan.

When that didn't happen, China was relentlessly mocked on social media in the western world.

But that is not how these things work.

Major military operations are quite complicated, and it takes time to properly coordinate them.

So it may be days or even weeks before we learn exactly what the Chinese have planned.

Meanwhile, the Chinese have announced that there will be a series of live-fire drills in the waters off Taiwan from Thursday through Sunday...

Beijing announced six exclusion zones encircling Taiwan to facilitate live-fire military drills from Thursday to Sunday, with some of the areas crossing into the island's territorial waters. The size and scope of the areas could set the stage for the Chinese military's most provocative actions near Taiwan in decades.

Separately, the People's Liberation Army said exercises could start as soon as Tuesday, leaving open the possibility of military activities around Taiwan while Pelosi was visiting. The operations include "long-range live firing in the Taiwan Strait" and "regular-guided fire testing in the eastern waters" off Taiwan from Tuesday evening, the PLA said.

And it was being reported that the office of Taiwan's president was hit by a massive cyberattack just before Pelosi arrived...

The website of Taiwan's presidential office went dark Tuesday due to an alleged distributed denial-of-service attack, with other government websites also impacted.

Tense moment: The attack took place hours ahead of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan. The Chinese government threatened to take action to respond to the trip, and Taiwan is reportedly readying air raid shelters in anticipation of a potential Chinese attack.

It would be wonderful if the Chinese stopped there.

Unfortunately, that is not likely to happen.

In fact, it is being reported that Chinese tanks are massing "on the coast of Fujian along the Taiwan Strait"...

A furious Beijing today warned US politicians they will 'come to no good end' if they 'play with fire' over Taiwan as video emerged purportedly showing tanks lined up on beaches opposite the island.

Chilling footage shared on Chinese social network Weibo appears to show amphibious tanks on the coast of Fujian along the Taiwan Strait. Further footage shows military equipment on the move in the city of Xiamen.

And another news source has pointed out that this area is very close to the Kinmen Islands...

Other footage shows a large amount of military equipment on the move in the province, including tanks on trains and columns of vehicles gridlocking Xiamen.

The closest point between China and Taiwan is the Kinmen Islands - which are around six miles east of Xiamen.

At this point we do not know if the Kinmen Islands will be a definite target.

But we do know that commercial flights have been "abruptly canceled from airports in several cities in Fujian province"...

In the last 24 hours, commercial flights have been abruptly canceled from airports in several cities in Fujian province. These airports include Xiamen, Fuzhou and Quanzhou. Xiamen Airlines put out a statement saying that the flight cancelations were due to "regional traffic control" and did not elaborate further.

We will have to wait and see how this plays out.

But without a doubt, I fully expect the Chinese to make some sort of a major statement in the days ahead.

And the Chinese military certainly seems to be shifting into full-blown war propaganda mode...

Chinese propaganda released yesterday showed off their military as soldiers in the clips vowed to fight to the death.

"We are fully prepared for any eventuality. Fight upon order, bury every intruder, and move toward joint and successful operations," the troops said, reports Chinese state media tabloid The Global Times.

"We are PLA soldiers, we swear to defend the motherland to the death."

Here in the United States, we are being told to disregard such "propaganda" and the "empty threats" that the Chinese are supposedly making.

But are they really "empty threats"?

What if they aren't?  What if the Chinese really mean what they say?

I think that something that Caitlin Johnstone tweeted sums things up quite well...

Russia: Don't cross our red lines in Ukraine or we'll take action.

US politicians: They're bluffing. Cross those red lines.

*Russia invades.*

China: Don't cross our red lines in Taiwan or we'll take action.

US politicians: They're bluffing. Cross those red lines.

Ultimately, the Chinese were probably planning to invade Taiwan fairly soon anyway, but Pelosi's visit certainly has the potential to greatly accelerate matters.

And even though Taiwanese officials are welcoming Pelosi's visit, they are also preparing for war at the same time...

Taiwanese defense officials have canceled the leave of some soldiers and officers "to immediately prepare" for the chance of war in response to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Asia this week, according to local reports.

Sadly, war with China is coming.

It is just a matter of time.

So what would such a conflict do to the U.S. economy?

Well, for one thing it would absolutely devastate the pharmaceutical industry...

Consider that Chinese firms are said to supply more than 90 percent of US antibiotics, 70 percent of acetaminophen (that's Tylenol), and almost half of the anti-coagulant heparin. "Are said to" because we struggle even to gather information on this because of the opacity of the Chinese market and state-dominated record keeping. 

Some studies suggest up to 80 percent of the basic ingredients in US drugs come from the PRC. China is also the second largest exporter of biologics and the prime source of medical devices per the FDA. In some cases, it appears that India is a prime source of a key import - generics, for example - but that masks the fact that India sources up to 75 percent of its own pharma ingredients from China.

The food industry would also be turned upside down.  In fact, it is being reported that "it is almost impossible to have a diet with foods that were not produced in China"...

According to CNN.com, experts believe that it is almost impossible to have a diet with foods that were not produced in China. Products such as chips and garlic are produced in China. Spices and herbs such as ginger and garlic are grown in China and exported to foreign markets. Chinese factories make vegetarian meat products. Many canned foods on market shelves were manufactured in China.

Our ability to produce our own food would also be greatly affected, because China produces so much of our farm machinery...

Farm machinery such as tractors, egg incubators and harvesters are manufactured in China. Chain saws, wood chippers and shredders are also produced in the country. Elevators and bulldozers are also assembled in China.

Are you starting to get the picture?

We should have never become so dependent on Chinese production, because it really is a major national security threat.

Of course the Chinese also produce a lot of our clothes...

Chinese factories manufacture winter coats, gloves, mittens and hats for consumers around the world. These factories also produce maternity clothes and infant clothes as well as wedding dresses and tuxedos. Underwear, T-shirts and slips are among the items exported from China to consumers around the world. Sports caps are also produced in China as are belts and bras.

And it turns out that 70 percent of our shoes come from China too...

The United States sources 99 percent of shoes sold from overseas, with 70 percent of those coming from the PRC. Same with 72 percent of smartphones. The artificial sweeteners in Diet Coke. Toys, furniture, sports equipment ... what you buy every time you go to Target.

The moment we go to war with them, the flow of cheap goods from China completely stops.

In addition, once the Chinese invade Taiwan there will be an absolutely excruciating computer chip shortage.

It was recently being projected that chipmakers in Taiwan would have a 66 percent share of the total global market by the end of 2023...

Taiwan's contract chipmakers will expand their global market share to 66% by revenue this year, cementing the island's dominant position in the chip supply chain, a new industry forecast shows.

As I have discussed previously, just about every industry in the United States relies on equipment that contains computer chips.

If the flow of chips from Taiwan is eliminated, the entire global economy would come to a crashing halt.

I am not just talking about a recession or a depression.

I am talking about an economic collapse on a scale that most people would not be able to comprehend right now.

This is a war we are not currently prepared to win and it's timeline just accelerated.

Has The Final Beast Empire Of Revelation Come Knocking?

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has declared his his support for a political union that includes not only the EU but also the former realm of the Roman Empire.

Though Britain left the European Union in 2020 in a move known as Brexit, some European leaders feel Russia's invasion of Ukraine has created a greater need for unity in the face of a common threat. A parallel organization would enable Britain to join without reentering the EU.

Johnson revealed his modern Imperium would extend from the UK to the Maghreb region of northern Africa and eastward to Turkey. He claimed he had come up with the idea "back when I first became foreign secretary" and that he thought "we should basically be recreating the Mare Nostrum of the Roman Empire." 

The Mediterranean Sea was given the Roman name Mare Nostrum when the Roman Empire ruled over most of Europe, the northern African coast, modern-day Turkey, and parts of the Caucasus.

French leader Emmanuel Macron has long championed a greater European political community and has been calling for a "true European army" since he took power.  Johnson's plan, however, sets out a much larger vision of who should be included.

Some of Europe's most prominent politicians have argued for years that to become a true global power, the E.U. needs its own defense force, one that is independent of the U.S.-European NATO alliance and does not rely on the United States.

Former President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, has suggested Europe transform itself into what he called a "superpower" that could act as a "global security power". He went on to say, "the Americans, to whom we owe much... will not ensure the security of the Europeans in the long term. We have to do this ourselves and the only way forward is to combine our forces and strengthen not only our capacity, but also our will to act".

Armin Laschet of Germany said recently that Europe must be strengthened "such that we never have to leave it up to Americans.

The idea of an EU army to defend Europe has been around since the days of Churchill and seems to be revived every decade.  While most attempts have failed there are some followers of Bible Prophecy who see the potential for a future 10 nation alliance out of Europe to fulfill the prophecies of the Book of Daniel & Revelation in which a 10 nation alliance from Europe (the Beast of Revelation) becomes the seat of power for the Antichrist on his way to global domination.

Some have speculated about whether these prophecies in Revelation refer to 10 nations, 10 world regions, or simply 10 leaders. When the European Union first emerged and eventually grew to 10 member nations, prophecy students were sitting up and taking notice, until the EU grew past 10 nations (current EU members total 27 nations). Then the excitement died down considerably as Europe failed to demonstrate any united military capability.

Now with talk of a fresh desire to expand European political and military alliances into most of the former Roman Empire, people are starting to pay attention again.  Especially as it coincides with so many other important prophetic events happening such as the shadow war between Iran & Israel, the players for Ezekiel 38 all in alignment (including Afghanistan thanks to Biden), the advancement of technology that could fulfill the mark of the beast, natural disasters, the global impact of disease, a potential economic crisis/reset and the list goes on and on. 

There are more questions and speculation than anything else at this point regarding the future of the European Union and recreating the Roman Empire but with so many prophetic events converging at this time it is time to be paying attention more now than ever before.  We know from scripture a final world empire ruled by the Antichrist will emerge.  It is only a matter of how and when.

Global Digital ID With Real-Time Tracking Of Everyone & Everything Is Coming

The World Economic Forum's obsession with not only merely digitization, but digitalization as a means of tracking and control, is manifest in yet another document that has come out of the group.

This time, the WEF is joined by the World Trade Organization (WTO) in drafting their thoughts on what the future of trade, but also, when all's said and done - humanity - should look like.

The joint report, The Promise of TradeTech: Policy Approaches to Harness Trade Digitalization, came out in April, and addresses end-to-end trade digitization to include a digital ID certification framework that would, needless to say, be global - and apply to physical and digital objects, but also, people, i.e., natural persons.

Even now, when the pandemic, the supply chain mayhem, and many key geopolitical trends are showing that the heyday of globalization is over, this concept remains firmly embedded in the thinking of the Davos-based WEF, and, it turns out, of the WTO, also based in Switzerland.

The report explains the need to build "end-to-end trade digitization" - where natural and legal persons and objects are treated equally - with so-called identity silos, or identity domains, no longer viable. In other words, interoperable ID systems must become "global."

WEF's "spiritual leader" and its founder Klaus Schwab in 2017 wrote in his book, The Fourth Industrial Revolution, that people and movement would soon be treated the same as "any package, pallet or container" - with these physical objects at the time tracked only by radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, sensors, and transmitters.

That idea seems to have matured in the meanwhile with a number of digital ID and tracking initiatives that have come out of this year's gathering in Davos, and the new WEF/WTO report notes that not only movement and location, but also performance and contribution to "a global circular economy" can be monitored thanks to traceability.

There's also a name for what a future set on such foundations is likely to spawn: "digital dictatorships." Control and monitoring has been at the heart of any dictatorship since the dawn of time, and the digital world is providing more tools than ever to achieve just that.

The topic of RFID tags emerged during this year's WEF, held in May, a month after the publication of the report, and this time it was more concrete in the way the technology described as applied to humans.

Short of wearing tracking devices under one's skin, the next best thing - from the point of view of monitoring and tracking enthusiasts - is to place them "onto" people's skin, by way of the clothes they wear.

Active RFID tags send out a signal all the time, which is expensive but handy for real-time tracking, while passive tags are the less expensive variety often used in various packaging. What they had in common in the past is that they were clearly visible.

But there are companies now like Swicofil who produce RFID fibers and yarns that are "high performance" - and lasting a long time, since they can be integrated into clothing and are washable. In other words, not something you're likely to notice and peel off.

There are also those who already specialize in putting together RFIDs and biometrics, like facial recognition data. While RFID technology automatically identifies tags that are placed on objects, biometrics come in to identify the actual person, and reports say that this is used to automate employee monitoring.

Yuval Noah Harari, popular with the likes of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, introduced on the WEF website as historian and philosopher who co-founded Sapienship - "a multidisciplinary organization advocating for global responsibility and clarifying public conversation" in terms of technological disruption, ecological collapse and the nuclear threat, spoke in Davos in 2020, to share insights such as that those who have enough data about a person can "hack" their "body, brain, life."
Omnipresent tracking certainly provides a massive amount of data, including biometrics, while Harari seems to think that "reverse engineering" of human beings is what can easily happen next.
"By hacking organisms, elites may gain the power to re-engineer the future of life itself. Because once you can hack something, you can usually also engineer it," he said.

Are We On The Verge Of The Tribulation Described In The Book Of Revelation?

After two years of global turmoil, people are starting to realize we aren't going to "return to normal." We've endured a global pandemic, widespread social unrest, vaccine passports, and compounding global supply chain issues. Now, we have a major war in Eastern Europe, fuel and food price inflation, and rumors of an impending global financial crisis. Everywhere you look, it seems as though the end is near. Is it? What does the Bible say? How close are the end times, the Tribulation, and the rapture of the church?

Fortunately, we don't have to guess. Jesus Himself told us how to recognize the general timeframe of His return. When the disciples said, "Tell us the signs of your coming and the end of the age" (Matthew 24:3), Jesus told them a number of things to look for. He then said, "When you see all these things, you can know my return is near. I'm right at the door" (Matthew 24:33). He also said, "When all these things begin to happen, look up for your salvation is near!" (Luke 21:28).

This means the #1 indication Jesus will return soon is all the signs appearing together. Both Jesus and the prophets told us what those signs are, and the appearance of just one is reason enough to take notice. But the arrival of one sign after another demands your attention. It's the sign Jesus said to look for. This convergence of signs is confirmation our generation will witness the Second Coming - not according to me, but according to Jesus.

The Convergence of Signs
So what are these signs? This article will only cite a few. These signs are undeniable, and their convergence should convince you the return of the Lord is close at hand. They include:

Israel Back in the Land - God promised to bring the Jewish people back into the land of Israel before He returned (Jeremiah 23:7-8). He said He would call them from "among the nations" (Ezekiel 39:28), from "the farthest corners of the earth" (Isaiah 11:12), and from "north, south, east, and west" (Psalm 107:3). He promised to welcome them home from the lands where they were scattered (Ezekiel 20:34). When they did, He promised to return and establish His everlasting kingdom (Isaiah 11:11-12).

The Jewish People in Control of Jerusalem - Jesus said armies would surround Jerusalem, destroy the city, and enslave its citizens. The Roman legions fulfilled this prophecy in A.D. 70. Jesus then said people other than the Jewish people will control Jerusalem for a time, until the Jewish people once again control Jerusalem. When they did, Jesus promised to return (Luke 21:24-28). Since 1967, the Jewish people have controlled Jerusalem.

The Gospel Preached Throughout the World - When asked about the end of the age and the signs of His coming, Jesus said to look for a very specific sign. He said the Gospel will be preached throughout the entire world. Every nation will hear it. And then? And then, the end will come (Matthew 24:14). For centuries after the crucifixion, the Gospel was confined to a small area surrounding the Mediterranean Sea. In the past two centuries, Christians have brought the Gospel to every nation in the world. Today, missionaries are in every nation. The Bible is translated in hundreds of languages, and the message of Jesus is sent around the world by radio, TV, satellite, and the Internet. For the first time in history, this generation is on the verge of spreading the Gospel to every last person on earth.

An Increase in Travel and Knowledge - Six hundred years before Jesus, an angel gave Daniel a special message. He said "travel and knowledge" will increase in the end times (Daniel 12:4). For centuries of human history, dramatic gains in travel and knowledge did NOT take place. Yet the last two hundred years have seen explosions in the speed and frequency of travel as well as the amount and availability of knowledge.

Arrival of the Exponential Curve - Jesus said a variety of global signs will come before His return and the end of the age. These signs will be spiritual, natural, societal, and political in nature. He said they will appear in a distinct way - "like birth pains" (Matthew 24:3‐8). This means the frequency and intensity of these signs will increase as we near His return. Our generation has seen the exponential increase in war and famine Jesus said to look for. In the 20th Century alone, more people died from war and famine than lived on the earth when Jesus spoke these words.

Israel Surrounded by Enemies - The Bible says enemies will surround Israel in the end times. Those enemies will say "Come, let us wipe away the nation of Israel. Let's destroy the memory of its existence" (Psalm 83:4) and "Let us take for ourselves these pasturelands of God" (Psalm 83:12). Ezekiel said Israel's neighbors will say "God has given their land to us" (Ezekiel 11:14‐17), and "Israel and Judah are ours. We will take possession of them. What do we care if their God is there?" (Ezekiel 35:10). Ever since the rebirth of Israel in 1948, the daily headlines have included these Bible verses. Israel's Muslim neighbors claim the land of Israel for themselves, and they have no regard for the God of Israel.

Israel's Exceedingly Great Army - Ezekiel said, in the end times, Israel will field "an exceedingly great army" (Ezekiel 37:10). Zechariah said Israel will be like a fire among sheaves of grain, burning up the neighboring nations (Zechariah 12:6) and even the weakest Israeli soldier will be like David (Zechariah 12:8). Since 1948, Israel has fought no less than four conventional wars against its neighbors. Despite being outnumbered more than 50 to 1, Israel has achieved overwhelming victory every time.

Rise of the Gog of Magog Alliance - The Bible says a military alliance that includes Russia, Iran, Turkey, and a number of Muslim nations will attack Israel "in the latter days" (Ezekiel 38:8) when God brings His people home from among the enemy nations (Ezekiel 39:27). Today, we see those very nations coming together for the first time - an alliance that has never existed in world history.

Rise of a United Europe - The Bible says a revived Roman Empire will come to power in the end times (Daniel 2, Daniel 7, Revelation 17). According to Daniel, it will be a ten nation alliance of weak and strong nations. Some parts will be as strong as iron, while other parts will be as weak as clay (Daniel 2:42). We see the beginning of this alliance in the European Union - a coalition of weak and strong nations struggling to stay together.

The Rise of Global Government - The Bible says a single government will rule the world politically (Revelation 13:7), religiously (Revelation 13:8), and economically (Revelation 13:16‐17) in the last days. It will rule over "all people, tribes, and languages" on the face of the earth (Revelation 13:7). Its authority will be so complete no one will be able to buy or sell anything without its permission (Revelation 13:16‐17). For centuries, a true global government was impossible. Today, world leaders openly discuss it.

Denial of the Signs - Almost two thousand years ago, Peter issued a warning. He said in the last days people will mock the idea of Jesus returning. They will make fun of those who believe in the Second Coming and say exactly what we hear today - things like, "I thought Jesus was coming back? What happened to His promise? Generation after generation has said He's coming. Yet, since the beginning of the world, everything has remained the same!" (2 Peter 3:3‐4).

The Hour is Late
Keep in mind, these signs haven't always been present. Generations of Christians lived and died without witnessing any of these signs. For centuries of Christian history, none of these signs were present. Today, they all are. Jesus said when you see these signs, you can know His return is near. He's right at the door (Matthew 24:33). In fact, Jesus said the generation witnessing these signs will not pass away before He returns (Matthew 24:34). So despite the skeptics and naysayers, Jesus is coming, and ours is the generation that will witness His return. The convergence of all these signs confirm it. 

Are We on the Verge of the Tribulation?
For many years now, we've seen the convergence of the signs Jesus and the prophets said to look for. Now, in 2022, we see a specific alignment of events that could lead to the outbreak of the Tribulation at any moment. These specific events are identical in nature to the events the Bible says will occur during the Tribulation. Whether or not these events are merely a preview of the events to come, or the actual events the Bible describes for the Tribulation, remains to be seen. However, keep in mind these events will roll out in the midst of the very season when Jesus said He would return. 

So what are these possible Tribulation events in the making? Here are just a few:

Central Bank Digital Currencies - Over the past couple of years, central banks have openly discussed the introduction Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). The central banks wield power over some of the largest economies in the world - the United Kingdom, Canada, China, the European Union, and the United States. Despite these public discussions, conventional wisdom says the rollout of CBDCs remains years in the future. The conventional wisdom is wrong. China has already released a digital yuan, and recently released digital yuan wallets for both Android and iOS smartphones. 

In March, President Biden signed an Executive Order titled "Ensuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets." The order requires federal agencies to submit to the President within 180 days:

"a technical evaluation of the technological infrastructure, capacity, and expertise that would be necessary at relevant agencies to facilitate and support the introduction of a CBDC system should one be proposed. The evaluation should specifically address the technical risks of the various designs, including with respect to emerging and future technological developments, such as quantum computing." 

By September 2022, this technical evaluation will be complete. Then, have no doubt about it - once the next crisis hits, the U.S. will roll out its own CBDC to replace the dollar.

Why does this matter? CBDCs will be centralized, government-controlled programmable currency. This means if the government decides it doesn't like you for whatever reason (think Canadian truckers), they can cut off your access. In other words, you won't be able to buy or sell. Sound familiar? The Bible says the Antichrist will implement this same system. Those who refuse the mark of the beast will be unable to buy or sell (Revelation 13:17). We're now on the verge of a global rollout of a technology identical in ability to the mark of the beast technology the Bible says will dominate the world during the Tribulation.

World War III - The Bible says there will be a World War III (Revelation 6:4), and we're much closer to it today than when 2022 started and probably the closest we've been since the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. Every day seems to bring a new escalation between NATO and its allies and Russia over the latter's invasion of Ukraine. NATO has sanctioned Russia, is providing arms to the Ukrainian resistance, and many of its members have called for direct intervention in Ukraine. 

Even if NATO avoids a direct military conflict, all it takes is for Russia to make one mistake which leads to a deadly strike in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, or Romania (all NATO members bordering Ukraine), and all of NATO will be obligated to respond. A full-blown war between Russia and NATO means World War III and the likely use of nuclear weapons. In 2019, the U.S. ran a war game to simulate what would happen in the event of a Russian invasion of Ukraine. The result was nuclear war with over a billion people dead. It's a stark reminder that, at any moment, the war in Ukraine could escalate into World War III.

Hyperinflation - In 2022, inflation has become a serious problem for almost every major economy in the world. The March 2022 headline inflation number for the U.S. was 8.5% - the highest since 1981. For the EuroZone, it came in at 7.5%. In Germany, wholesale prices rose 22.6% year-over-year. EU natural gas prices increased six-fold. Global oil prices rose 67%, wheat prices doubled, and corn prices went up 50%. Fuel and food riots have erupted in Peru, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan. And unrest is brewing in countless other countries as well. 

Could we be on the brink of hyperinflation? Maybe. Maybe not. But the Bible says the whole world will one day experience hyperinflation. When that happens, an entire day's wages will only buy enough food to barely survive (Revelation 6:6).

Global Famine - As we entered 2022, the world already faced a major food crisis, both in terms of supply and price. Since then, the situation has only gotten worse. The Russian invasion of Ukraine cut off Russian and Ukrainian exports via the Black Sea. Together, they account for 12% of all global calories consumed. The sanctions against Russia have compounded ongoing supply chain issues, and many countries have banned agricultural exports. Add in poor harvests, rampant fertilizer shortages, and an avian flu plague destroying millions of chickens and turkeys, and it becomes clear we're heading toward the worst food crisis in modern times.

In fact, it's worse than that. Famine is coming on a mass scale. We simply aren't going to grow enough food in 2022. The result will be a biblical famine. The only question is whether it will be one of the famines Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24:7 or the Tribulation famine of Revelation 6:5-8.

Jesus is Coming Soon
If the world stage is now set for the Tribulation, how close must the rapture be? The Bible says the rapture will take place before the Tribulation. Jesus promised His church, "I will keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth" (Revelation 3:10). If you're reading this and you're a Christian, your time on this earth is short. Your race (1 Corinthians 9:24-27) is nearing its end, so make sure to finish well. 

Live a holy, godly life as you look forward to the day of His coming (2 Peter 3:11-12). Take advantage of every opportunity to spread the Gospel. Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus has commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). The day will come when you will lose the opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. So do it now while you still can. Jesus is coming soon.

I've been hesitant to write a prophecy update lately because things are happening at such a rapid pace that it is difficult to keep up with everything happening. Yet, this is exactly what Jesus said would happen at the time of the end. He said over and over again that he would come at a time when the signs were occurring in rapid fire.
 
He used the Greek word tachu (think tachometer) and various forms of the term. He wasn't saying he was coming "soon" as some translations render it, but that he was coming "swiftly" at a time with things were revved up-at the top end of the end-time tachometer, so to speak. We seem to be there now. I suppose things could rev up even more-but at some point, the tachometer is going to redline.

The upcoming generations of the West are not only growing up in a post-Christian culture. They are growing up in nations where their families are often several generations removed from any semblance of Christian belief—and increasingly, any semblance of Christian knowledge.

The new Conservative government will make it illegal for public bodies to boycott Israel.

The policy was unveiled on Thursday in the “most radical Queen’s Speech in a generation”, which also included measures to toughen up criminal justice, invest in the NHS and deliver on the “people’s priorities”.

We all know some individuals who are so obviously good and kind that we are certain if anyone were to dislike them, that's all we would need to know about the person. We would immediately assume he or she is a bad person. To hate the manifestly good is a sure sign of being bad.
Such is the case regarding the left's hatred of The Salvation Army. You don't have to be a Christian -- I am not -- to appreciate the goodness of the people who run and work for The Salvation Army.

A fundamental pillar of true free markets is the existence of choice; the availability of options from production to providers to purchase mechanisms without interference from governments or corporate monopolies. Choice means competition, and competition drives progress. 
Choice can also drive changes within society, for if people know a better or more secure way of doing things exists, why would anyone want to stay trapped within the confines of a limited system? At the very least, people should be allowed to choose economic mechanisms that work best for their particular situation.

"Bullying" and "gangster-like" tactics have been reported by locals in New York areas where the Muslim Community Patrol & Services operates.
These tactics are beginning to create a backlash against the self-described "civilian patrol organization" among local residents.
The Muslim patrol gained international attention in the fall of 2018 after several of its patrol cars -- which look like New York Police Department (NYPD) cars -were spotted in Brooklyn and Staten Island.
A little digging shows that the Muslim Community Patrol has an underlying agenda: to enforce Islamic sharia law first in the Muslim community and then in American community at large.
The patrol originally said its purpose was to serve as a liaison between Muslims and the NYPD.  But after two consecutive mosque shootings in New Zealand last March, where a gunman live-streamed his murder of 51 Muslims on Facebook, the patrol publicly altered its purpose.
It now describes itself as a law enforcement organization, claiming its goal is to "protect members of the local community from escalating quality-of-life nuisance crimes."
It's precisely that "law enforcement" definition that is now landing the Muslim patrol into hot water with New York City residents, particularly those living in the Brooklyn area of Bedford-Stuyvesant.
"They are bullying people and getting out of their patrol cars looking like gangsters," said one resident, who asked to remain anonymous. "The people in Bed-Stuy don't want them there."

1) The spirit of the Antichrist has been poured out around the world. 

In dozens of countries, we see anarchy, lawlessness, rage, and violence. It even came to the heartland of Minneapolis when President Trump spoke here in October. The area around the rally turned into a war zone. It is now cool to be a member of Antifa and to create destruction. 

2) The last year has seen the rise of Romans 1 behavior and thinking, the explosion of strong delusion, and the increase in the hatred of God. 

There is a collective shrug over things like "Drag Queen Story Hour." So what, yet this measures our decay more than anything else. A 6'5" male won the "woman of the week" award at the University of Montana--strong delusion.  

Millions of free Americans long to have our country succumb to Socialism and some are praising Marxism. Again, an irrational delusion.

The Western world now has a rabid hatred of God that would be unexplainable had the Bible not warned us that the last days would be characterized by this sentiment. First Europe threw God out and now America is close to it. This is again delusional thinking.

Seminary students in New York are praying and confessing sins to plants. How else can these things be explained other than the pouring out of strong delusion and reprobate mind thinking in these last days? 

3) In the last year we have seen a rise in a new world religion. 

The Pope of climate change has announced a global crisis. So will climate be the pathway to the New World Order? I think so. The NWO must have a crisis. It will ultimately be the Rapture of the Church but before that, their sky is falling with perceived rising temperatures. 

How does an autistic teenager take the world by storm just for having a climate temper tantrum at the U.N. in September? Greta Thunberg was named the successor to Jesus Christ by her home nation of Sweden. 
 
Understand she has a machine behind her--a globalist climate-alarmist machine. And this kind of radicalism is becoming a global religion. It will be a major component of the coming one-world religion.

4) There is a stunning rise in wickedness. Yes, evil is to wax worse and worse (II Timothy 3:13), but it is now out-of-control.

Netflix is releasing a new feature January 1 titled "Messiah" but in looking at the trailer, one has to wonder if it isn't promoting the Antichrist.

Anti-Semites like Rick Wiles are gaining in popularity as he calls the mess in Washington a "Jew coup" and blames the Jews for every problem in the world. He even says their goal is to kill all Christians! 

   

 
7) The "epicenter"--the Middle East--is in a shake-up. 

Vladimir Putin is now being called the new "King of the Middle East." Is this a foreshadowing of Ezekiel 38-39--the Gog-Magog war? 

The players in the Middle East are re-aligning according to the Bible since President Trump abandoned the Kurds this year. Even Israel was shaken by that mistake. Many Jews are asking if Israel is the next to be betrayed?

The constant turmoil is a foreshadowing and stage-setting of a foretold event, the obliteration of Damascus (Isaiah 17:1) likely followed by the Gog-Magog War. 

 We are just one election away from the complete U.S. abandonment of Israel if a leftist gains the White House. 

8) The efforts of the globalists were advanced in the last year. 

Pope Francis continued to beat a drum for globalism. Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu continue to represent the nationalist mentality and the globalists are trying to run both out of office. 

The United Nations called for global government in less than 12 years. 

Europe cries for no borders and liberals in America decry borders. 

The world continues to long for a single leader to make all things right as well as for global government. 

9) The Church of Laodicea blossomed and lurched even further to the left in the last year.  

Apostasy is talked about more than just about any other end-time phenomenon. 

Movements such as the New Apostolic Reformation gained new strength calling for Heaven on earth and emphasizing experiential Christianity. This is the fastest-growing "denomination" in the world.  
 
Social justice and "critical race theory" became prominent in the evangelical church that once emphasized soul-winning. 

Bible prophecy and Christian support for Israel fell deeper into obscurity in the church.

10) The surveillance of humanity is now big business and privacy is completely gone. 

New technologies have emerged that reveal our every step is now being tracked. Someone is following our every move online and our "smart" devices, that seem smarter than humans, are spying on us 24/7. This is a set-up for Antichrist's empire, as is new technology utilizing artificial intelligence. 

Limiting my list to just ten important items forced me to leave off events such as third temple talk in Israel, record-setting birth-pang natural disaster destruction, and the stunning "convergence" of things we have never seen so prominent. 

But, I hope I have helped you focus on "signs of the times" that are a herald of His coming in the last year. 

And keep in mind that many of these items are going to fully blossom in the Tribulation. What we have now is just a foretaste. God will spare His Church from this wrath as we are enjoying Heaven during this seven-year period of utter chaos on earth.

While it is a challenge to be born for such a time as this, it is encouraging to know that everything is falling into place just as God promised it would.

The SPLC Strikes Again: Christian Zionist Group Dropped By Amazon
Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN), a Tennessee-based nonprofit evangelical Christian organization committed towards standing with Israel and fighting anti-Semitism, has been removed from the AmazonSmile program, which enables Amazon customers to donate a percentage of their purchase to their favorite charity.

PJTN president Laurie Cardoza-Moore told JNS that "all of a sudden, we began being inundated with e-mails from supporters whose AmazonSmile donations to Proclaiming Justice to the Nations had been repeatedly rejected. They were being instructed to choose another charity, despite wanting to support PJTN."
After reaching out to Amazon for an explanation--assuming it was a technical glitch--the retail giant informed PJTN that customers would no longer be able to donate towards the organization using the AmazonSmile platform, following the listing of PJTN as a "hate group" by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).
The SPLC, whose website says that part of its mission is to monitor domestic hate groups in the United States, has PJTN listed on its "hate map" as being one of 36 Tennessee-based hate groups. SPLC specifically accuses PJTN of being "anti-Muslim."
An email request by JNS to SPLC asking for an explanation about their listing of PJTN went unanswered as of press time.
When asked by JNS what would cause the SPLC to label her organization as being anti-Muslim, Cardoza-Moore responded, "Proclaiming Justice to the Nations exists to fight the oldest hate on earth: anti-Semitism. We were given no explanation as to why we were blacklisted. 
If our work highlighting anti-Semites like [Reps.] Ilhan Omar [D-Minn.] and Rashida Tlaib [De-Mich.] got us on the list, we'll wear it as a badge of honor. 
Despite the financial penalties that we are facing with AmazonSmile, will not be silenced for fulfilling our biblical responsibility to defend the State of Israel and Jewish people in the face of growing global anti-Semitism."
She added that "sadly, the SPLC lost its way long ago, becoming a tool to shame any organization that doesn't share their extremist agenda."
Cardoza-Moore says that initially, she thought it was a joke that PJTN had been placed on the SPLC list of hate groups alongside the KKK. However, she said that "I have now learned that this political witch hunt against those who don't share SPLC's extremist liberal views has been adopted as a religious doctrine by Amazon. This could dramatically affect our ability to raise funds and function as a nonprofit organization."
She added that it appears that Amazon "has become the nation's new moral compass powered by the subversive Southern Poverty Law Center. Charities should not be persecuted in this way; this has to stop."
An Amazon spokesperson confirmed to JNS via email that PJTN had been dropped, saying in a general statement that according to their policy, "organizations that engage in, support, encourage or promote intolerance, hate, terrorism, violence, money laundering or other illegal activities are not eligible."
The statement mentioned that since 2013, Amazon has relied on the SPLC along with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (of the U.S. Department of the Treasury) to make its determination on which organizations are eligible for the AmazonSmile program.
Cardoza-Moore says that as a result of being dropped, she is calling on her donors to bypass Amazon in order to help support Israel and combat anti-Semitism.

Argentina's Spiritual Transformation - Evangelicals Increase, Catholics Decrease
According to a new survey, the number of people who identified as evangelical Christians in Argentina increased from 9% in 2008 to 15.3% in 2019. Meanwhile, the Roman Catholic Church of the Latin American country has lost a large number of members.
 The government of Argentina published this week the figures of the Second National Survey on Beliefs and Religious Attitudes. 
It is a detailed research which compares the social and religious evolution of Argentinians in the last 11 years (from 2008 to today). 
According to the data of this survey, the number of people who identified as evangelical Christians in Argentina increased from 9% in 2008 to 15.3% in 2019. 
Meanwhile, the Roman Catholic Church of the Latin American country has lost members. 
In 2019, 76.5% of the population identified with Catholicism, now the figure has fallen to 62.5%. 
The decline is starker if the Catholic affiliation is compared with the 1960 decade, when over 90% of Argentinians identified as Catholics. 
In contrast, almost 2 in 10 Argentinian citizens now say they do not identify with a religion (18.9%), a significant increase compared to 2008 (10%).   
DISTRUST OF INSTITUTIONS 
"The survey shows that the belief in God is at around 80%, but we are in a context of distrust in the institutions in general, a reality that affects religious organisations as well", said sociologist Fortunato Mallimaci, leader of the research group commissioned by Ministry of Society, Culture and Religion.
 "That could be what explains why 60% of believers admit that their relationship with God is managed on their own, and only 30% attend a church building".

Why is the mainstream media being so quiet about all of the seismic activity that has been happening all across the United States?  
During the last 7 days, there has been an earthquake swarm directly along the New Madrid Fault zone, Kansas and Oklahoma have been hit by a very unusual number of significant quakes, and there have been several sizable seismic events in the vicinity of the Yellowstone supervolcano.  

But of course the west coast is getting hammered more than anyone else.  According to Cal Tech, there have been more than 1000 earthquakes in California and Nevada over the last week, but of course most of them have been very small.  Overall, the latest USGS numbers tell us that there have been more than 2,000 earthquakes nationally during the last 7 days, and apparently we aren't supposed to be alarmed by that.  
But could it be possible that all of this seismic activity is leading up to something really big?

17-year old student Natalie Salisbury of Manitoba, Canada decided to take matters into her own hands after LGBT supporters and teachers at her school, Stonewall Collegiate, began to circulate the idea of wearing rainbow poppies to show LGBT solidarity this Remembrance Day.
In an interview with The Post Millennial, Natalie says she disagreed with the decision to change the traditional red-and-black poppy used to honor Canadian veterans during the Remembrance Day holiday. "I typed up papers on a computer, printed them off, and taped them up in the halls."

The printed papers contained quotes from news stories and people on social media Natalie had collected of individuals expressing criticism of the rainbow poppy. Some of the quotes on the paper included:

Natalie says she was just trying to express her beliefs and opinion on the matter but as soon as she put up her fliers teachers tore them down and had her report to the principal's office where she was accused of hate speech and endangering the physical safety of a group of individuals [LGBT students].

Drag Queen Story Hour is a phenomenon that has been making libraries a cultural battle ground as it spreads across the nation but the progressive left has found new allies for promoting such events - the church.
The Park Church, a Lutheran ministry in Greenpoint, Brooklyn held it's first Drag Queen Story hour this week with Drag Queen "The Rev. Yolanda" who is known for her "Church With A 2 Drink Minimum" slogan at various spiritual events.

Perhaps Park Church felt inspired by Cincinnati's Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church which recently greeted its visitors on Sunday with Drag Queen "Sparke Leigh", complete in purple dress, makeup, high heels and a glitter beard.
Following the song "God Welcomes All" by the church choir, Sparke Leigh walked up on stage and called the children up to sit at his feet.  Rather than reading from the Bible, he read the book Pride: The Story of Harvey Milk and the Rainbow Flag .

The results of a new survey are truely disturbing.  More than half of Americans want themselves, others, and the media censored by the government. 

Unfortunately, instead of learning from history, people are actually asking for a repeat of Nazi Germany or the gulags of the Soviet Union.

The First Amendment, which guarantees Americans freedom of speech, should be overhauled to reflect current cultural norms, according to 51 percent of the respondents to a survey published by the Campaign for Free Speech. 
The campaign is hoping to call attention to the dire state of Americans' preeminent civil rights with the poll, which breaks down opposition along gender, race, class, and educational lines.
History will continue to repeat until humans learn the lessons of the past.  Censorship is always necessary for tyranny to thrive.
The younger respondents were, the more they supported overhauling the law to restrict speech. 
However, college graduates were the least likely of all educational groupings to support the restrictions, indicating that the increasingly regulated speech environment at American universities may be backfiring in some cases and producing adults who cherish their rights because they know what it's like to be deprived of them.

Do recent polls really tell the full story here in America? Is it true that Christianity is experiencing a serious, ongoing, numerical decline? 
Those polls could well be accurate, speaking of a major spiritual crisis in our nation. But there may be a different way to understand what is happening, one that points to separation and refining more than to backsliding and apostasy.

First, let's look at the results of the most recent Pew Research Center poll.
As reported on October 19, "The religious landscape of the United States continues to change at a rapid clip. In Pew Research Center telephone surveys conducted in 2018 and 2019, 65% of American adults describe themselves as Christians when asked about their religion, down 12 percentage points over the past decade. 
Meanwhile, the religiously unaffiliated share of the population, consisting of people who describe their religious identity as atheist, agnostic or 'nothing in particular,' now stands at 26%, up from 17% in 2009."
Additionally, "Both Protestantism and Catholicism are experiencing losses of population share. Currently, 43% of U.S. adults identify with Protestantism, down from 51% in 2009. And one-in-five adults (20%) are Catholic, down from 23% in 2009."
Most significantly, "More than eight-in-ten members of the Silent Generation (those born between 1928 and 1945) describe themselves as Christians (84%), as do three-quarters of Baby Boomers (76%). 
In stark contrast, only half of Millennials (49%) describe themselves as Christians; four-in-ten are religious 'nones,' and one-in-ten Millennials identify with non-Christian faiths."
What are we to make of this? And do these figures truly indicate that Christianity is in numerical decline in America?

It is very hard to face the future when you don't have any hope.  Today, our society offers more ways to entertain ourselves than ever before, but it offers very little hope.  
Most people spend most of their lives wandering from one thing to another looking for meaning and purpose, and of course most of those journeys come up empty.  
We may have a much higher standard of living than any other generation in history, but we are also have the highest rates of addiction, depression and suicide.

As a society, we are deeply, deeply unhappy, and this is especially true for our young people.  In fact, a report that was just released discovered that there was a 56 percent increase in suicide among Americans from age 10 to age 24 in just 10 years...
Suicides and homicides are on the rise among children, teens and young adults in America, according to a new report that highlights what experts say is a disturbing trend among the young.
The report, published Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, found that from 2007 to 2017, the rate of Americans ages 10 to 24 who died by suicide rose by 56 percent, from 6.8 deaths per 100,000 persons to 10.6.

Federal Judge Smacks Univ. Of Iowa For 'Ludicrous' Anti-Christian Discrimination

In July, 2018, the University of Iowa and its officials restricted from its campus Intervarsity Christian Fellowship (ICF), along with some other religious groups. This was because ICF had the audacity to require that its campus group leaders were Christians.
Last week, "A federal court ruled University of Iowa officials must pay out of their own pockets for discriminating against a prominent Christian student group, calling the university's conduct 'ludicrous' and 'incredibly baffling' during a hearing last week."
Twisting the Meaning of Discrimination
The issue was that the university had no problem allowing secular groups on campus to make specific requirements about who could be in leadership. But when it came to a Christian group, to do so was considered discriminatory.

The Invisible Victims Of Political Correctness

In a strange sort of way, a recent Sky News story reminded me of Luke 11. That's where Jesus asks, if your child asked for a fish, would you give them a snake? Or if they asked for an egg, would you hand them a scorpion?

Here's the article's headline: "Hundreds of young trans people seeking help to return to original sex." The story featured a woman who, after publicly admitting regret over her so-called "surgical transition," was contacted by hundreds of people in her part of England who felt the same way.

 

One of those people, "Ruby," also struggled with eating disorders. One would think that the combination of gender dysphoria and eating disorders would suggest to medical professionals that Ruby was suffering from body image issues. But, as she told Sky News, the doctors never even suggested there might be a connection there worth exploring.
Instead, it was "Here's your hormones, here's your surgery, off you go." Or, to borrow Jesus' words, "Here's your scorpion, here's your snake."

This story is far from uncommon. Young people in emotional pain and distress are asking adults for help. But, because of our ideological blind spots, we give them serpents and scorpions instead of what they really need.

Just consider the name given to a new children's pediatric clinic at Akron Children's Hospital: "Center for Gender Affirming Medicine." Since the fundamental connection between gender and biological reality has already been severed by our ideological commitments, it's safe to assume that doctors there will "affirm," both in their diagnoses and with their prescribed treatments, whatever gender a child claims they are.
