Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Crucifying Christ and putting Him to open shame again
Hebrew 6: 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame.
Today’s scripture talks of those who are baptized in the Holy Spirit, blessed with gifts of the Spirit, who have experienced the powers of the Kingdom of God and yet these due to their carnal desires backslide making the sacrifice of Christ to nothing. Of these today’ scripture speaks of a chance to again repent from their ways and turn to Christ, but what they land up doing is crucifying Christ again and putting Him to shame again.
We may not be amongst those who backslide but that does not mean we should ignore today’s message thinking it is not for us.
Today’s message does not only tell us the consequences of backsliding and repenting again but also tell us how to avoid backsliding. It speaks of thorns and thistles (briers) something spoken in Genesis 3, a curse of God in the life of man due to sin. Thorns symbolize problems and thistles symbolize unprofitability (losses).
Spiritual problems and lack of spiritual growth or edification is not something that we should ignore or set aside. It is very important to attend to them on a regular basis. We may be much anointed, blessed with many spiritual gifts manifesting the powers of God but yet we cannot afford to set aside spiritual problems or stay spiritually stagnant for long. The day we do not attend these aspects we run the danger of backsliding, the danger of again repenting, and again crucifying Christ, putting Him to open shame again.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord created the Heavens and Earth in all that is in it in the beginning. You never change yet You grow from glory to glory. You are Life and have life within. We receive life from You. Anything that has life and does not grow is dying. Lord we pray we understand the seriousness to attend to spiritual problems and productivity before it becomes too late...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Genesis 3:17-19

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Bishop amongst Elders
Titus 1:5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
In today’s scripture we find Paul instructing Titus about appointing elders in the city (church) and the first point he writes about appointing amongst elders is a Bishop.
It was only when I was studying on the 7 letters to the 7 Churches and getting deep into the Nicolaitan system then I realized the Bishop of the Catholic Church is not the same the Bishop in the Bible.
The term Bishop in Greek ‘episkopos’ means ‘overseer’, he was not over seer of the local church but an elder and overseer of financial and administrative matters of the church, he was an honorary manager (unpaid - voluntary).
In both Titus and 1 Timothy the word is used as a title / office but in 1 Peter it is used as an adjective poimen (pastor/shepherd), episkopos (bishop/over seer).
Today we see many Believer Churches even though come out of the Catholic Church still follow doctrines (traditions) of that Church blindly. Lack of Bible study is why we do foolishness, then we wonder why we struggle spiritually and why God is far from us.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord are not God of confusion but of order. All things that You set in your Word is with purpose and order to edify the Body. It our foolishness and spiritual blindness that leads us to do things contrary to your Word thus the Body suffers. Lord we pray we correct ourselves and follow your Word so that your glory is manifested the Body of Christ...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Fruits of teaching the Word
Galatians 6:6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
There are many who claim to teach the Word of God. They are many amongst them who have wrong teachings of the Word and amongst those who teach the Word there are people who simply give knowledge of the Word without understanding, these do not see any fruit amongst those whom they are teaching. It is only when there is a good understanding of the Word will a person see fruits amongst the people. Understanding comes when wisdom/experience has worked on knowledge.
It does not matter how gifted a person is or educated a person is, understanding of the Word is very important, it is for this reason in today’s scripture we see the one who is taught is told to revert back to the one who taught him regularly as he goes about teaching the Word. This will help the one who taught to check if knowledge or understanding is being shared.
Knowledge of Christ has benefited very few but understanding of Christ has changed almost all for it primarily brings on the character of Christ in people.
Paul always focused on putting on the Name of Jesus for he knew once people put on the Name of Jesus, he would be successful in his task and no longer needs to guide them or shepherd them since the Holy Spirit takes over.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord are the real Shepherd for we lead man in the natural but it is You alone who can lead them in the Spirit. Lord we pray we focus on giving understanding of the Word so that it transforms people and not be satisfied with sharing knowledge. Help us to focus on bringing change in people...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Galatians 6:6-9
6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to [fulfil] the lusts [thereof].
Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Law abiding
1 Timothy 1:8 But we know that the law [is] good, if a man use it lawfully;
In the NT the word ‘law’ has multiple meanings even though the base is similar. We will understand this when we go to the Greek words, we see 3 different words translated as ‘law’.
Nomos - νόμος (Strong 3551) – something that is established
Entole - ἐντολή (Strong 1785) – an order, commandment
Dogma - δόγμα (Strong 1378) – a degree
In today’s message the Greek word nomos is used in both places. So the verse becomes in expanded form: ‘but we know that what is established [is] good, if a man use it properly’.
We know sin came into existence because of the law, it does not mean breaking of just Entole (commandment) but in fact Paul uses the word nomos in Romans 3:20. Even with a Commandment (entole) it is only an established (nomos) commandment which is revealed whose breaking brings about sin.
Paul in today’s message says let us not focus on entole but focus on nomos, since nomos is spiritual (Romans 7:14). It is only when we spiritually follow that which is established, we will overcome sin.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord made the heavens and earth. What You established is unshakable for You are light and that You established is light. It was only when beings went against that which was established did darkness come. We pray we seek to follow that which You have established in spirit and not simply the commandments in the flesh so that we overcome sin...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.
Romans 7:9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
Romans 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law (nomos).

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
In the days of His Flesh
Hebrews 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
If one reads Hebrews chp 3-7 one sees Paul (supposedly) touching on the divinity of Jesus Christ in various aspects. In Chapters 6 and 7 he compares Christ with Melchisedec who was king of earthly Salem (meaning Peace - former Jerusalem).
Believers lack understanding of these chapters therefore are unable to counter Catholics and other similar ‘Christian’ sects who glorify Mary the mother of Jesus as a divine being (without corruption). Believers think Melchisedec was born ‘without father and mother’ and we hear many foolish Preachers preaching various theories on this man Melchisedec. If that was the case then Christ need not have come, he being born without corruption could have become the savior of the world.
This misunderstanding is all because the printer who numbered these verses and segregated them into chapters broke the flow of the topic of chapters 6 and 7.
If one reads the end of chapter 6:20 it speaks of Christ and then in 7 it speaks of Christ being ‘King of Peace’ in Hebrew Melchisedec. It is Christ who when born in the flesh was without father and without mother, and not of Melchisedec.
We know Jesus was born of a virgin without a human father simply because He had to born without blemish, not inheriting the corruption of any human (no human was without corruption) and this corruption as per the Law of God is passed only from the father to the child (up to minimum 4 generations – provided no one sins) and not mother to child even though the child is born in the womb of the mother. The mother’s corruption gets passed to the child via the father (they spiritually become one during intercourse) and not directly to the child.
There are some arguments that the egg of Mary was fertilized by the Holy Spirit, such a theory would technically become a ‘rape’ case and that is not what the Bible says. Throughout the NT Mary is called the mother of Jesus but in two places it clearly also denies Mary as the mother of Jesus. Once at Cana when Jesus directly in anger asks Mary what has He to do with her, in other words what relationship does He have with her? The second time is in Hebrews 7 where Paul says Christ was born without father and without mother.
Both relationships of Jesus with Mary that is of her being His mother and of her not being His mother are true. You may wonder how?
Before it would have not been possible to explain this relationship but today since we have advanced in understanding birth technics we can. In today’s scientific terminology it is called a surrogate birth. So Mary is Jesus’ surrogate mother and not His biological mother.
Jesus is called the second/last Adam since He was made human directly, but unlike the first Adam who was made directly into a man Jesus was made into a fetus in the womb of a woman (which also confirms the fact that a fetus/fertilized egg from first day is considered a human since Jesus was born exactly after 9 months).
Today’s scripture points to Jesus as human (in flesh) did not break any natural law of God thus was born exactly and fully human. Being God and becoming human did not deny His divine spiritual existence but as human in the flesh He was fully human. Saying He as human in the flesh was also divine, would deny His humbling of Himself and that of Him breaking His own natural laws. John goes on to say anyone who denies that Christ did not come in the flesh that is fully human, is not of God but an antichrist as it denies God salvation to mankind.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You created all things in the spirit in the beginning and by your natural laws all things come to existence day by day. Even when You humbled and became human, You did not break any natural law of yours but keeping within it. You also became human without inheriting the corruption of the first Adam. Lord we pray we know You more and more and learn to believe your Word more than worldly man...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
John 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
Hebrew 6:20, 7:1-5
20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, [even] Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
4 Now consider how great this man [was], unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Dead with Christ
Colossians 2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
The Greek word for death is ‘thnesko’ but the word used in today’s scripture is ‘apothnesko’ which is a compound word meaning ‘separated to death’.
Today’s verse does not talk of physically dying but of surrendering unto death. It speaks of putting to death one’s own worldly desires and goals but at the same time putting on the desires of God the Father and seeking the Will of the Father. It is about carrying ‘the cross’ / ‘the cause’ of Christ.
Christians use the term ‘supernatural life’ for Christian spiritual life or ‘supernatural God’ for the Lord, they do not realize the terms still are natural but speaks of the highest (super) level of natural life. We are called not to ‘supernatural’ life but for an ‘unnatural’ life. Our God is not supernatural, He is unnatural for He is Spirit. If we want to be unnatural then we too are called to be led by His Spirit and it is only by His Spirit we too can be truly ‘dead with Christ’. It is only when we are not of this world, we will not be under the laws or powers of this world.
Baptism in Christ is all about taking the initiative of being separated unto Christ and being dead to this world. It does not happen instantly but is a gradual process, resulting into Sons of God.
There are many foolish ‘Christians’ who do not take precaution in this pandemic stating they are not under the laws of this world therefore the powers of this world cannot affect them. These people should first introspect their lives before taking such a foolish step. Most of them crave for the pleasures and things of this world and yet claim to be dead with Christ.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You are Spirit. This natural world is temporary and will perish when You come in glory again. Lord we pray we do not perish with this world being attached to it. We pray we separate ourselves from it and be dead to it by the help of your Spirit, so that we too may live eternal abundant life in You in your eternal Kingdom...
[Reference Scriptures]
Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Romans 6:3-11
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of [his] resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
They will persecute you!
Acts 23:11,12 And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome. And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
The word persecute means to be troubled, harassed or mistreated, but when we get to the Greek word it comes from the word ‘to be chased’ or ‘made to flee’.
Christians are told they will be persecuted for Jesus Himself said that. It is true Christians are the most persecuted people. In today’s scripture we see when the Lord moved in Paul’s favor immediately the next day a large group of Jewish men gathered to plan to kill Paul.
But in today’s period of pandemic no Christians can claim to be persecuted even though social media is overflowing with mocking posts by worldly people against Christian Evangelist and Healers. Indirectly they are mocking Christianity itself.
Many are losing faith in their beliefs and Christianity being the strongest belief is receiving the maximum targeting. Today our relationship with the Lord is tested, and the Lord is asking us ‘can we stand it?’
Frankly I too would have been shaken had it not being that the Lord prepared me for this situation a few months back when He led me to study on the 7 letters to the 7 Churches. I was made aware of the things that we are facing and will face in time to come. And like the mission of Paul to Rome changed speed of spreading of Christianity around the world so also the events we are facing is going to change the face of the world.
Let us not claim of persecution but understand we are being tested and test always opens a door for promotion. Jesus had a minister even before He was thirty for when He attended the wedding of Cana He did so with His disciples. It was only after He was tested by the Devil in the wilderness that too led by the Holy Spirit to this test, that His ministry truly blossomed.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord have set us to be transformed from within and for that we will face problems. Lord we pray we understand the season and times. Let us not put aside the things we face as persecution but understand it as testing. Help us face it and flee from it. Help us to gauge our relationship with You...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Luke 4:2 For forty days, being tested by the Evil One. And he had no food in those days; and when they came to an end, he was in need of food.
John 2:1-2

The Battle of the Inner-man
Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
We know a person accepts Christ as his or her Lord and Savior to be free from sin after knowing how a grave sinner he or she is for Christ is the only way to the Holy Father. Does that mean after accepting Christ the person is free of sin and does not sin? No… any person who says they do not sin is a liar.
If a person does sin even after accepting Christ then what is the use of following Christ?
If you are taking a long journey by road, does a person reach the destination on sitting in the car? No, so will the person say why sit in the car? No, because the person knows there is a distance to cover and that takes time and efforts, also since it is a very long journey without the car the trip may not be possible for that person.
When a person accepts Christ there is a transformation and change in that person’s life, he or she does serve sin, meaning he or she starts to battle sin (sin nature). We do see changes in the life of that person (if no changes then the person is not following Christ) but yet there will be areas where the person will struggle.
Let us get it into us we by ourselves will not be perfect and overcome sin fully, we will battle and keep battling sin until we die, but we do not give up.
Do we overcome sin? Yes, not individually like Christ did but collectively; so if it is a team efforts can anyone in that team stop battling? No. Christ transfigured when He was in the flesh, we do after death on the coming of Christ but just before Judgment day on the coming of Christ it is written (which Paul says is a great mystery) that those who are still alive in the flesh transfigure / transform / rapture.
Today’s scripture says the battle is of the inner-man and refers to the inner-man before knowing Christ as ‘old-man’ and the one that is on the journey as the new or born-again (born from above) man.
Let us get it into us Christian journey is not instant teleporting but a long drawn journey in which we battle not sin but sin nature so that it starves and dies so as to not serve sin. We do this not in the natural by living an asceticism life but do it in a spiritual way but knowledge of the truth.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You are Holy God and nothing unholy / corrupt can dwell before You. You Lord desire us to be perfect so that we can become a part of You and be blessed in You forever. Lord we pray we understand Christian journey is a long drawn battle and we continuously need to fight this spiritual battle depriving our sin nature...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
We do it together!
Philippians 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
In today’s scripture we have Paul a mighty Man of God using the word ‘if’ with regards to his resurrection! Was he not sure when he spoke so much encouraging words in his letters?
Salvation is least understood. All know it means being saved but do not know what all it means being saved from. We take one aspect and apply it to many. We also need to understand the term resurrection mean simply to rise/be lifted up.
Salvation has actually 3 aspects to it. The most common known is being saved from Hell. Hell is a prison where people who do not believe in God go after their death, irrespective of all the ‘good deeds’ they may have done in their earthly life term. This Salvation (saved from Hell) is assured to everyone who believes in God and desires His Kingdom, irrespective of he or she doing the Will of God. Only if the person rejects Christ or God (not any god) will lose this.
The second aspect of Salvation is what Paul talks of which is when all that sleep in Christ (including those alive when He comes) are judged those who are found doing the Will of the Father (they are not judged with regards to their sins) will enter Heaven. People in Christ from the time of Noah (almost 3000 years before Christ) to the Judgment Day (which is almost 2500 years after His death and resurrection) will all enter Heaven together as His Bride. Here we all do it together as one, not in part.
The third aspect of Salvation is unconditional.. That means everyone who has entered Heaven will receive this. The difference here is that man alone is not part of this. Here the transformed man (Angel – Revelation uses the term ‘Ram’ or ‘mature male’ in many places this is mistranslated as ‘lamb’) along with the Heavenly Angels will become the part of the Heavenly Temple / Jerusalem.
In today’ scripture Paul talks of being unsure of the second aspect of Salvation, since it calls mankind (those in Him) to be complete (have all the Fruits of the Spirit) and this we all do it together. None of us will be complete by themselves. The best result that we produce is the 2 witness which Revelation speaks of (revealed from OT – 2 olive trees – their death and rising triggers Rapture / Judgment Day).
Let us understand the importance of helping others as we work towards our Salvation. It is a team efforts and not the efforts of a single person. When Jesus said fear not for ‘YOU’ will overcome as ‘I have overcome’, He spoke to us collectively and not as individual.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You are Holy God and in Heaven You are worshiped with shouts of Holy, Holy, Holy for You alone are Holy. We being yours are called to be holy and that is we become other as one body. Help us to understand the importance of helping each other in this race as we run our own race...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Philippians 2:10-17
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Romans 12:5 So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
1 Corinthians 12:25 That there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.
Ephesians 2:15-19
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, [so] making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

God the Son
Colossians 1:16,17 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
In the beginning as I was getting into word study (Hebrew and Greek words) using tools like Strong’s numbering of biblical words (at that time I have no knowledge of the languages), yet I found in the OT most of the places where God was mentioned it was the Son and His Spirit and in very, very few places was the Father mentioned. It was only in John 1:18 I realized about the Father, for it says ‘no being’ (not just man) had seen the Father other than the Son who came from His bosom (from within Him). In fact the first mention of God in Genesis 1:1 does not speak of the Father but of the Son.
When we truly study the Bible one will be amazed to realize what people believe in is so far from that which the Bible says.
Day before yesterday I was speaking to a brother on the Prophets of OT and when I shared about the fall of one Prophet as written in the OT but hidden from worldly eyes, he got a shock. He told me ‘brother if you preach this in Church they will throw you out’. That is true, for if they understood this then more than the congregation the Preachers would change, things like ‘Prosperity Gospel’, ‘OSAS’ (Once Saved Always Saved), ‘Abundance Grace’ (that allows a person to continue in sin) etc. will be history. You would have Preachers’ lifestyle not changing but the lives of people changing.
Let us not go by what people say or preach about God but go by what the Bibles speaks and preaches to us about God. When people say they are speaking the ‘Word of God’, please do not take their word for it, open your Bible and confirm it.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You are God and there is none other than You. Bible says there is only One God yet uses plural terms. Lord we pray your people understand You more and more. Let their eyes be opened and the hearts that are far from You come closer to You. Let not vanity be their destiny but let them see your glory...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen

27 But thou [art] the same, and thy years shall have no end.

Knowing God through Christ
Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Just a few minutes before I got this scripture I was on mail with a person who had claimed to have become a registered humanist / rationalist and was stating things like all who believe in a God / god /gods are only out to swindle money from people. He also said, the Jehovah (Judaist Christian God) spoke only Aramaic like Allah spoke only Arabic! He did not know the difference between Hebrew and Aramaic. He also did not know in the Bible God spoke to non-Hebrew speaking people directly or indirectly for many non-Hebrew people were His followers. The term ‘Hebrew’ mean ‘nomad’ so was the language of those who moved from place to place living in tents. Many of the terms of the various languages existent at that time were common to Hebrew, since Hebrew is like the father of languages.
What is interesting is this person was not new to my private mailing list (sent directly from my Savedbyfaith.info server) and has been on the list for a long time. It is another fact that he was reading or not reading my daily message; from the thousands of people I send daily I trace only 8% - 10% actually reading the messages regularly, others check the subject and open only if the topic interests them. He opened the mail since it was titled ‘God the Son’.
People do tell me Brother why do you not write of simple topics, they want to hear what they know and not what God wants to tell/teach them.
The term ‘God the Son’ is only once written in the NT in Mark 3:11-12 wherein the fallen angels/evil spirits confessed Jesus as being ‘The God The Son’ and Jesus forbid them from revealing to man who He was. Translations put it as ‘Son of God’ and thus also preventing people from understanding the difference between ‘Son of God’ and ‘God the Son’.
We think people who do not know God are Anti-Christ, which is not true. To be an Anti-Christ one needs to know Him and His purpose, it is only when the person works against His purpose that he or she becomes Anti-Christ. Even a heretic is not a person who errs but one who purposely misleads.
Those who do not know God or do not believe in God cannot be termed as Atheist (denying existence of God) since they have many categories amongst them (I know of 7, but 4 are well known) like Agnostic (not sure of God), Naturalist (believing in natural law/power), Pantheist (puts man as the purpose of life existence)... there are people who believe or believe with varying combinations. It is only those who believe in an intellectual being who is the creator, designer of all that exist and active are called theist.
Worshipping God / god / gods does make a person spiritual. Bible says even demons know God and tremble. It is only when we know God through Christ that we really know Him, else we may know about Him.
Today’s scripture states people who follow Judaism cannot be compared to Christianity even though they use the same book as Holy Scriptures and focus on the same God. They know about God but do not know Him since they reject Christ.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. It is only in You that there is life in abundance. Demons also live but they know suffering and death awaits them. People think spiritual death is like natural death thus do not fear it. Lord we pray people know You and see the spiritual Kingdom more than the earthly Kingdom wherein the shadow of your glory shines...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Grace and Peace – do you have it?
2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
Just a few days back I was watching TV and heard a statement which caught my attention, the person said ‘if a person wants peace, he should be prepared for war’. I started thinking is this statement true or is it worldly? Worldly meaning factual based on situation but not holding ground always. Do we introspect everything thrown at us?
Speak to any Christian and these 2 words ‘grace’ and ‘peace’ are always on the tip of their tongue. But sadly there are hardly a few I came across who know the real meaning of these words. The reason of this is that they do not truly do word study (biblical language study).
‘Grace’ is always described as ‘favor’ which is incorrect. If we study scriptures ‘favor’ is connected with ‘righteousness’ and ‘grace’ with ‘faith’. If ‘grace’ was ‘favor’ that one would need to be righteous to have grace which we fail terribly at. The truth is that by grace we have favor in Him and thus are called His righteous. So that what is ‘grace’?
The Hebrew word for ‘grace’ is ‘Chen’ and comes from the word ‘Chanan’ which means ‘mercy’. ‘Grace’ has to do with ‘mercy’ and means ‘all the mercy required to get a person qualified’. ‘Grace’ is about crossing the line of basic requirement. In school we learnt about ‘grace marks’ yet we do not relate the same to our biblical understanding. ‘Grace’ like ‘mercy’ is given by the Lord to whom He desires so we can plead and plead but never be assured of receiving it, but Bible shares a secret of assurance of ‘grace’ and that is by ‘faith’. ‘Truth’ and ‘grace’ are like Siamese twins. ‘Faith’ we know is believing in the ‘Truth’ so if we have faith we automatically have grace. It is also true that as longs as we keep the faith we are under grace and if we lose faith we lose grace. Thus grace cannot be taken for granted.
Coming to Peace. The Hebrew word for ‘peace’ is ‘Shalowm’ and comes from the word ‘Shalam’ which has two meanings ‘pay’ and also ‘peace’. You may wonder what I am coming to. The word ‘Shalam’ is rightly translated as ‘covenant of peace’ and thus a peace bought for a price, like a sacrifice or payment.
We know Christ paid our price on the cross not just to wash away our sins (since we still sin after our baptism in Him, even if we keep fighting against it and sin less), He paid the price so that He could make peace with God on our behalf and thus be called the Lord righteous (have claim to it) and by this receive the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit completes the job in us.
In a few words I will explain today’s message, only if have the truth and faith will we have grace, similarly only if we have a good bonding with Christ and have received His Spirit will we have His peace. The more we grow in truth (knowledge of God) the more we will grow in grace (not more in an area since grace is fixed – but spreading over all areas), also the more we have relationship with Christ and His Spirit the more of His peace we will experience, a peace which is unshakeable.
In these time we desperately need grace and peace thus the Lord wants us to understand how to receive or grow in them.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord are true and never changing. Your Word is true and infallible. It is our misunderstanding of your Word that falls us and not your Word. Lord we pray we have a clearer understanding of your Word so that we gain of it especial in these times of difficulties...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

From People to Children to Sons
Galatians 3: 25, 26 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
In these pandemic times we see out of fear many people across the world are doing insane things. People are coming out on the streets in protest thinking the lock down is a conspiracy, there are people who are attacking medical staff fearing they are carriers of the virus. In an Indian southern state a doctor’s body was not allowed to be buried by the locals who resorted to violence, the state had to do so with police protection and family members could not attend. This is just one of the many insane things people are doing because they do not think. A similar insane thing which people as Christians are doing is running after Israelites (Jews) because God called them His people.
If a person truly understands the Bible the term people means nation and yes the Hebrew speaking people were chosen by the Lord. There were given promises after promises, this was given to the children (both natural and those adopted into the clans) of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They were given the promise of Israel (meaning Prince having power in the Lord).
In today scripture Paul exposes a deep truth. Faith we know is believing in the truth and we know truth came with Jesus Christ. Before Christ people knew about God but did not know Him, even though they had His Word yet they did not understand it. This is not the case of a few but almost all, including the great Men of God/Nabis of the OT. Today’s scripture says it is knowledge of the truth that bought in faith and made us to become children of God. Now as children of God we have advanced from people of God. But it does not stop there from children those who are led by the Spirit of God become Sons of God. Now Sons are more advanced to children and people of God. Sons of God is the promise ‘Israel’ which was given to the people of God.
Would one not call a person insane who seeks the light of the moon when he or she had the option to receive the light of the Sun? Only those of the night or dwell in darkness seek the light of the moon, those who dwell in the day receive the light of the Sun.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord are Truth and thus never changing. People did not know You therefore worshiped You as Baal (unknown God) until You humbled yourself and came as man (Ishi) so that your people may know You. Those who know You became your Children and those who have authority in You become your Sons. It is only Sons who will enter Heaven to inherit your Kingdom. We pray Lord your people do not behave like the insane people we see today but have wisdom...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Paying a price for a mistake
2 Timothy 4:16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all [men] forsook me: [I pray God] that it may not be laid to their charge.
I have mentioned before in the prayer Our Father the words ‘give us this day our daily bread’ and ‘forgive our sins’, the Greek to English translation is not perfect. The problem is not with the translators but of the unequal grammar between the two languages. English has 3 tenses, Past, Present and Future while Greek has 7. The verbs ‘Give’ and ‘Forgive’ are in a tense called ‘Aorist’ which is Past, Present and Future together that means Gave, Give and Will Give, similarly Forgave, Forgive and Will Forgive.
The dilemma comes ‘can I continue sinning since God forgives?’ the true answer is both Yes and No.
We need to understand sin distances us from God. If I as a Believer sin than God does forgive but if I continue in sin without repairing my relationship with God then there will come a time where the distance will be so far that there will be no relationship between God and me and then I will not be able to receive His forgiveness.
Sin is more serious than cancer, the person does not know which cigarette will be the one that manifests the cancer to a stage it becomes life threatening.. People know every cigarette had been doing its damage but then there is one which becomes too much. There are people who smoke but yet do not suffer cancer; that does not mean smoking does not kill.
Another fact about sin is all sins are not the same. It is not that one sin is greater than the other for i.e. in 10 Commandments all 10 are the same that is why Jesus summed it from 10 to 2 and then 1. It means lying is as serious as murder or adultery before God. What is different is that all sins do not draw the same response from God. For some sins He will keep forgiving for He is Slow to Anger. But then there are some sins or some people with even a small sin can draw instant and harsh response from God. That means some sins God takes very serious and it also matters who did that sin.
People who do not know God may do the worse sins and one would see God not reacting at all (although they pay its price in Hell), but if these same people sin against anyone of God that one will see reactions. Those who know God and yet sin will see a response from God depending on their spiritual growth. It means more the growth the quicker and harsher the response. There is also the face of this coin, that is if anyone sins against such a person will also see instant reaction from the Lord and that too very harsh. In the OT we have many examples for these.
Let not our past experience be our measure. As we move ahead in the Lord things change and situations change. I can share a lot on this for what all I have seen happen would shock many, therefore every step I take is with caution, not that I do not sin but I will never dare in my wildest dream certain sins, at certain times of my spiritual life or against certain people.
Let us not be fooled to think sin does not affect us as Believers. Most sins we may not pay its penalty but then every sin has its consequence over our life. Let us always learn to walk in the way of the Lord more and more perfectly.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord have made the Heavens and our creation. When You made it, it was good but sin and evil corrupted it. Father You sanctified yourself awaiting for your creation to be made perfect in You. Lord we pray we understand the consequence of sin even if we may not pay its penalty. Help us to take every sin seriously and know which can be fatal....
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Matthew 22:36-40
36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the great and first commandment.
39 And a second like [unto it] is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40 On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
2 John 1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote to thee a new commandment, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
1 Corinthians 5:5 to deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Numbers 12:1,7-10
1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Cushite woman.
7 My servant Moses is not so; he is faithful in all my house:
8 with him will I speak mouth to mouth, even manifestly, and not in dark speeches; and the form of Jehovah shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?
9 And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against them; and he departed.
10 And the cloud removed from over the Tent; and, behold, Miriam was leprous, as [white as] snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Casting away all the tackling
Acts 27: 19 And the third [day] we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.
Christianity is always described as not a religion but a relationship with God. Religions like Islam or Hinduism or Jainism etc. are called a way of life because they solely dependent on traditions or human doings. If a Muslim does not practice his or her five pillars then he or she does not qualify as a Muslim. He or she cannot say I believe in Allah and read the Quran thus I am a Muslim, the person needs to follow its traditions, like doing the Namaz, keeping the Ramadan etc... What is interesting is the more they do it they realize it cannot be done. The same was with Judaism.. The Jews too due to their lack of understanding of scriptures had/have taken a very heavy shackles of iron around their neck, hands and legs, such that they cannot live with it nor without it.
When we look at religions like Hinduism, Jainism or even Catholicism then rituals or sacraments become key to being qualified as its follower. If one fails keeping even one then there will be three more (hypothetically) to do as penance to bring that person back in its folds.
Describing Christianity as simply relationship with God is like describing a chocolate by its cover. We know Christianity is a process where God qualifies us to be a part of Him not more so here on earth but more in Heaven. It is only with Him and in Him that we have eternal, abundant life. One scripture which aptly defines Christianity is in the OT where the Lord says He will take His people and process them like gold is refined and these which are refined will be called His people and He will be their God.
We know processing or refining gold requires the raw gold to go through shedding of it impurities in fire. Thus any Christian who does not go through this refining cannot confidently call himself or herself a Christian. This shedding is not done of things that are natural but more of the spiritual. It means this processing and refining is of the inner-man thus Christianity does not believe in penance (paying a penalty) but in repentance (correction).
There is also a truth that our natural is also an external manifestation of the spiritual, so a person who has greed within will be always have wanting of material procession, a person who does idol worship will be possessed with another person, oneself or even a thought or desire.
Today’s scriptures talks of Paul and the Romans travelling in a ship which faced turbulence in a storm and to maintain their course and be afloat they needed to castaway all the tackling of the ship.
If we go through the Greek word translated as tackling, it give a vague description means equipment, content, vessels etc. Some translations went to the extent to describe as armaments they carried to protect themselves during their travel. In general words it would mean ship’s cargo.
We need to introspect our lives especially in the time of shaking and see the cargo we are carrying. It is time do some shedding or casting of the tackling of our worldly life. We do not have to live a life of lacking or absence or deficiency but of need or necessity. Abraham is an excellent example he lived a middle class life and whatever he got extra he gave away to those in need around him.

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Faithfulness judged!
Acts 16:15 And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought [us], saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide [there]. And she constrained us.
Today’s scripture speaks of Lydia a woman from Thyatira, residing at Philippi in Macedonia, and dealing in purple cloths. She was not a Jewess by birth, but had become a proselyte to Judaism and then accepted Christ by her baptism in Christ, not just her but also her whole family were baptized in Jesus Christ by Paul’s team (Paul himself like Jesus did not personally water baptize anyone). We find in today’s scripture the woman asks them to judge her faith and if found true to visit her house.
We always have find people advising against judging and do not realize judging is part of spiritual maturity. Only the mature can judge and if they cannot judge then they are not mature, that does not mean we can judge people in general and decide who goes to Heaven or not.
Judging is necessary but key to it is understanding whom and what we judge. Bible is clear we cannot judge the worldly people for they are already judged, like the fallen angels/evil spirits (including Satan) who know what is due to them so also these people are set to suffer Hell irrespective of their earthly good deeds. Like we cannot judge who goes to Hell so also we cannot judge who goes to Heaven. One cannot say to a brother ‘you will go to Heaven’, how do we know before he ends his race if he forsakes his faith in Christ? Can anyone who forsakes Christ on his death bed go to Heaven? Bible also says there are 2 dangerous factors we do not judge, like say one does not have the Spirit of God [Raca - without spirit] or if one has an evil spirit [Moros - bad spirit]. In both cases we need confirmation from the Lord to speak it out else we would be in danger of Hell fire/Lake of fire.
We as Christians are called to judge every spiritual step we take, we should judge ourselves spiritually seeing where we were and where we are, we should also judge every word spoken to us and believe those we find true (words are like flowers and our thoughts pollinate them, poisonous flowers bear poisonous fruits which lead to death). Like today’s message we should also judge the spiritual lives of others not to condemn them or label them but to understand if the relationship / fellowship will edify or not. There are times I keep away from people so that I do not hurt them and wait for the time when I can have fellowship with them.
Paul and his team went to Lydia’s house not to eat and have a good time, she did not call them to thank them and treat them but called them for edification by the fellowship and for that Paul’s team needed to judge if they would be receptive to them or not..
Most of the Church is on spiritual milk because they do not judge, only a one with teeth can eat meat.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord call us your children when we have faith in You, but as children we cannot inherit your Kingdom, for that we need to mature into Sons. Lord we pray we understand the need to judge/discern and also what we should not. We pray like the foolish virgins who did not prepare for the coming of the Bridegroom and were caught off guard at the last minute....
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

1 Corinthians 5:9-13
9 I wrote unto you in my epistle to have no company with fornicators;
10 not at all [meaning] with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world:
11 but as it is, I wrote unto you not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no, not to eat.
12 For what have I to do with judging them that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Matthew 5:22 but I say unto you, that every one who is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council; and whosoever shall say, Thou fool [Moros], shall be in danger of the hell of fire.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Do not defraud your brethren in any matter
1 Thessalonians 4: 6 That no [man] go beyond and defraud his brother in [any] matter: because that the Lord [is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
When we look at today’s scripture by itself, it seems to mean one should not cheat another believer in any way the Lord will revenge it, but when we read other translations a confusion grows.
ASV - 6 that no man transgress, and wrong his brother in the matter: because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.
BBE - 6 And that no man may make attempts to get the better of his brother in business: for the Lord is the judge in all these things, as we said to you before and gave witness.
Message - 6 Don’t run roughshod over the concerns of your brothers and sisters. Their concerns are God’s concerns, and [he] will take care of them. We’ve warned you about this before.
WEB - 6 that no one should take advantage of and wrong a brother or sister in this matter; because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.
When we get to the Greek text the 2 key words translated as go beyond/transgress/run roughshod/take advantage is the word huperbaino which is a compound word and means over + stepping and the second word defraud/wrong in business/concerns/wrong is the word pleonekteo which also is a compound means to take advantage/make gains.
Translation like Message or BBE misinterpret the scripture taking it out of context of what Paul wanted to say. If we read the context of the letter it speaks of physical relationship. What may surprise believers is that it does not speak only of the extend of have sex or intercourse with another believer outside marriage that angers the Lord to revenge it, but any kind of relationship beyond brotherly relationship will also be revenged.
We see believers having boyfriend/girlfriend/romantic relationships with other believers/church members, they do not realize that such a relationship angers God and will be revenged like how murder is. If any unmarried person wants to have relationship with another unmarried person he or she should get engaged first. Engagement is a legal commitment and has consequence if broken without cause.
Like sex so also romance is allowed only within a marriage relationship. Sex without legal consent is called rape and romance without legal consent is called seduction, both are serious offences before God if done outside a marriage relationship and both punishable by God Himself.
Let us understand things like ‘flirting’ or ‘casual relationships’ are not seen as casual by God and will be revenged by Him.

4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
6 That no [man] go beyond and defraud his brother in [any] matter: because that the Lord [is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
1 Corinthians 7:26-28, 33-36
26 I think therefore that this is good by reason of the distress that is upon us, [namely,] that it is good for a man to be as he is.
27 Art thou bound unto a wife? Seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? Seek not a wife.
28 But shouldest thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Yet such shall have tribulation in the flesh: and I would spare you.
33 but he that is married is careful for the things of the world, how he may please his wife,
34 and is divided. [So] also the woman that is unmarried and the virgin is careful for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married is careful for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
35 And this I say for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is seemly, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
36 But if any man thinketh that he behaveth himself unseemly toward his virgin, if she be past the flower of her age, and if need so requireth, let him do what he will; he sinneth not; let them marry.

Church of Laodicea
Colossians 4: 16 And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the [epistle] from Laodicea.
Today’s scripture talks of the Church of Laodicea. Although not much is written of the activity of that Church during the time of the Apostles yet we see it is mentioned a lot and given great importance.
If we read the 7 letters to the 7 Churches the Church of Laodicea is the last Church and the word means ‘Justice of the people’. The letter in Revelation speaks of the era which concludes with Judgment Day.
We as a Church has yet not entered that era but have stepped into the era of Philadelphia which means ‘brotherhood’. This is the era of coming together of the Church of Christ. What is happening in the world is the shaking of the Church it is and will compel Churches to think of working together. It will cause them to put their difference aside and concentrate of the Word of God more and more for solutions will be found nowhere else.
Amongst the 7 eras of the Church the era we entered is the worse in sense of calamities and disasters but the Word of God says those who was marked by Him as His will not face problems and will be safe. So let us be assured of the Lord’s protection if we are amongst those who do not follow a religion but follow God and His Word.
Till a few months back God was an object on the shelf which most people kept as a show piece to state they also have it, some took it off the shelve as an when need arise and then put it back on the shelf. There were very, very few who actually knew God and had relationship with Him. Here I am not talking of just unbelievers but also of those who call themselves ‘Christians’ including those who say they ‘follow the Word of God’ and those who head Churches. Yes, even those who were identified as Men and Women of God used God for their fame, carnal desires like power and riches of this world.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord are God and time is not a factor for You. We who are your creation live through time for your Word is fulfilled in its time. Your Word refines us and makes us worthy to live beyond time. Lord we pray we understand the importance of truly following your Word and seeking your Kingdom and that You are not fooled by traditions...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,
4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;
5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away.
6 For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins, led away by divers lusts,
7 ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,
4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;
5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away.
6 For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins, led away by divers lusts,
7 ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
He subjected Himself
1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
Christians following Church traditions are today celebrating ‘Good Friday’ stating Jesus was crucified today. It will surprise and even disappoint Believers when they realize they are following Catholic Church tradition and not the Bible.
During those days the Jews followed the moon cycle which had a month of 28 days and adjustments were made once in many years. So the weekday fell on it cycle almost every year. Now we follow the solar cycle where some months are 30, some 31 and one even 28/29 days. It is for this reason the Jewish Paschal celebration or any other celebration does not coincide with the Christian day/day of week. And there is no sin in it. But if we change the event by months, or number of days, or sequence of events then there is a serious problem and we are trying to play god over God.
During the time of Jesus the Jews celebrated the week of Unleavened Bread with the Paschal week. They overlapped these two weeks from the time of Babylonian exile that is why in 3 Gospels the records differ from those of John’s Gospel. So Jesus was arrested after celebrating the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread/Passover week (He and His disciples ate just unleavened bread and unfermented grape juice at the Last Supper). That meant He was arrested on Sat evening since it started in the evening of the Sabbath. He was under observation for 5 days like the Paschal Lamb, so was tortured and abused by both Jews and Romans these 5 days and He did not open His mouth to complain. Thus on Thursday evening (yesterday evening) He was crucified and died. It was on Friday that the Jews celebrated the Passover and was considered a High Sabbath as mentioned in Gospel of John. He resurrected exactly on the third day (after 2 and half days – sign of Jonah/three days is for the wicked).
People play with Biblical words and concepts to justify their insane traditions. They love to eat stale Manna which bred worms, became foul and which does not edify the soul but hardens it, above all angers God.
Today’s message speaks of the Son subjecting Himself so that God be lifted up. If we do not subject ourselves to His Word can we claim to be subject to God? If we are not subjecting ourselves to God then whom are we lifting up? God or ourselves?
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord are Holy and so is your Word. It is for this reason neither You change nor does your Word change, both are eternal. Lord we pray your people realize they are tampering with your Word trying to be god over You. Lord we pray they understand the purpose of the things You have set and thus reap of its goodness...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Matthew 26:17 Now on the first [day] of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Where wilt thou that we make ready for thee to eat the passover?
Luke 22:1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
Exodus 16:19-20
19 And Moses said unto them, Let no man leave of it till the morning.
20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and became foul: and Moses was wroth with them.
Exodus 12:3-6
3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth [day] of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household:
4 and if the household be too little for a lamb, then shall he and his neighbor next unto his house take one according to the number of the souls; according to every man’s eating ye shall make your count for the lamb.
5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:
6 and ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at even.
John 19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the Preparation, that the bodies should not remain on the cross upon the sabbath (for the day of that sabbath was a high [day]), asked of Pilate that their legs might be broken, and [that] they might be taken away.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Did I not tell you?
1 Thessalonians 3:4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
There are many who are banging at the Lord’s doors praying desperately for the pandemic to be immediately taken away. This was similar to the state of the people of Thessalonica during the times of Paul and we read they too thought the world was coming to an end like what people are thinking now.
In today’s scripture we find Paul reminding the people of Thessalonica that when he was with them he had shared about this incident going to happen and asks them to have patience it will pass. Did Paul prophecy? No.. Paul had good knowledge of scriptures and was aware of what was in store in his time.
Today we have people on knees instead of holding hands and encouraging other to be patient all because they do not have knowledge of scriptures. Can praying change that which is written? No. We need to understand what to pray for since God only listens to a prayer of faith. Faith is something that is related to the truth, and if there is no truth there is no faith.
Let us encourage each other not to lose faith but let us strengthen them for what is happening is part of that which is written and Isaiah 2:12-22 and also Revelation notes about the era we have stepped in.
Those who know their purpose in the Lord know nothing can change nor defeat them, be it a virus or earthquake or even a meteoroid hitting the earth. But if we do not know our purpose in Him then what is there that can hold us? Nothing.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. Your Hands are not short that You cannot help your people. We know Lord nothing is impossible to You and your eyes are upon your people. We who are your trust in You and believe this cloud of darkness will pass, idols will fall and many will know You...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Isaiah 2:12-22
12 For there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low;
13 and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
14 and upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,
15 and upon every lofty tower, and upon every fortified wall,
16 and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant imagery.
17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.
18 And the idols shall utterly pass away.
19 And men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.
20 In that day men shall cast away their idols of silver, and their idols of gold, which have been made for them to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
21 to go into the caverns of the rocks, and into the clefts of the ragged rocks, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.
22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for wherein is he to be accounted of?
Revelation 16:14-17
14 And the heaven was removed as a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the princes, and the chief captains, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman and freeman, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 for the great day of their wrath is come; and who is able to stand?

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Testing of the leaders
2 Corinthians 6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by love unfeigned,
A few days back I saw a post of a poster on social media which spelt ‘Prophet’ as ‘Profit’. There were people posting if Benny Hinn or famous Healers healed any corona victim or has any Preacher announced any message from the Lord about this situation? These are time of spiritual mayhem where people are looking up to their leaders and not getting any response.
We find OT mentions such cases where the Lord did not speak through any of the so called ‘Men of God’ or Priests. We see the only way for them to get any response from the Lord during these times was by the ‘Breastplate of Judgment’ which was worn by the Priest (means representing man before God).
If we study the breastplate of judgment by its design we will understand Callings and in front of the breastplate were the 12 stone which represented the 12 tribes, which in turn represented the 12 Fruits of the Holy Spirit of which Heaven is made. Another important factor of the breastplate was when the Lord did not speak through any person then the Priest would wear the breastplate and from its pockets through the 2 objects named Urim and the Thummim he would receive a response from the Lord.
In my initial days when I was studying the breastplate of judgment the mystery of these two objects were the first things that caught my attention, it was then I understood the importance of getting into the root meaning of the Hebrew words to understand it.
For the Jews till today the two objects and the 12 stones are a mystery even though they understand Hebrew very well for they never thought of digging deeper to understand scriptures beyond what their ‘scholars’ or ‘preachers’ stated. They tested their understanding not with scriptures but by people.
The word ‘Urim’ comes from the root word meaning ‘light’ and the word ‘Thummim’ comes from the root word ‘perfection’. They both point to the Word of God which is both source for ‘light’ and ‘perfection’. The Word of God is not directly described as light but as lamp and from the lamp comes light. Light is not an object but energy and symbolizes understanding of the Word and it is this understanding that bring about perfection in us.
In today’s scripture Paul speaks of his ministry based on Fruits of the Holy Spirit and the working of the Holy Spirit.
In this testing times we get to see what is our ministry based on, human achievements and human building or that of the Holy Spirit. Paul did not call any person his spiritual father or mother although people like Ananias, Barnabas, Silas and Prisca were key persons to his spiritual building.
The Proverb 27:17 about iron sharpening iron as a friend sharpens a friend, is an oxymoron. Iron does not sharpen iron, it only makes lots of sound and if great efforts are put, it causes sparks to fly and generates a lot of heat. To sharpen iron one need a harder material (molecular bond).
As humans we can have spiritual children whom we spiritual build people to a stage that the Holy Spirit can take over. Those who try to take the place of the Holy Spirit by trying to become permanent guides or spiritual ‘fathers’ / ‘mothers’ will breed spiritual children (sons/daughters) who are religious people and do not know God.
Our Churches are full of these spiritual, religious children thanks to their spiritual fathers/mothers that is why we are in this state.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are God. Lord You alone are Master and You alone are Rabbi (Teacher). You is man to lead the lost to You so that You can deliver them from corruption. Lord we pray people do not try to become Saviors in the lives of whom they are leading to You. We pray we lead other to You, building them so that your Spirit can take over and do the work required like Jesus did with His disciples...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
2 Corinthians 6:4-10
4 But in all [things] approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and [yet] true;
9 As unknown, and [yet] well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and [yet] possessing all things.
Exodus 28:3-35
Psalms 119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.
Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, [even] the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.
Matthew 23:8-9
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your teacher, and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father on the earth: for one is your Father, [even] he who is in heaven.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Offerings made to idols
1 Corinthians 8: 10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
Today at 9pm the Prime Minister of India has asked all Indians at 9pm to switch off their lights and burn candles or put on the mobile torches for 9 minutes to encourage the moral of all those who are quarantined. When one hears this immediately one feels yes this is a good initiative to stand together and show our oneness as country fellowmen. But when one gets into the details one finds something fishy in it.
First question one asks why 9 minutes, why not 5 or 10 minutes? Also then one realizes not just that date by coincident is 9th but even 5th April which is 5+4 =9.
If one has knowledge of Numerology which is strongly believed by Hindus, they consider 9 to be an auspicious number. Also things connected to it has to do with astrology. Everything connected to this request is to do with superstitious belief and when it is connected to superstitious belief, can a Christian take part in it? (One should not confuse between Numerology and Bible Numerics, they are like difference between Astrology and Astronomy respectively).
In today’s scripture given by the Lord, we see Paul questions Christians who eat food offered to idols. Food is food it does not matter when one eats it but when we know it is offered to idols and yet we eat it then we acknowledge the idols also. That means we acknowledge the gods that are made by man.
Christians should think wisely and if they truly desire to show support should either avoid the timing choosing another time slot or avoid taking part in the symbolism but actively (extra) support their neighbors and other Indians.
We Christians living in India as Indians should stand as one but when it comes to belief we need to differentiate from man-made Indian religions and not act as spiritually blind people, for we know God and He is not God of any country or nations. He is God of the whole world, all universe and every generation including those to come.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord alone are God. You are possessive of your people like a mother is possessive of her children. Lord those who worship other gods You consider them as prostitutes. Lord we pray we do not misrepresent You and lower your glory making You one amongst man made gods. We pray we do not bring You to anger...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
1 Corinthians 8:7-11
7 Howbeit [there is] not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat [it] as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
Exodus 20:5-6
5 thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I Jehovah thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me,
6 and showing lovingkindness unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
Exodus 34:14 (for thou shalt worship no other god: for Jehovah, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God);
Deuteronomy 6:14-15
14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples that are round about you;
15 for Jehovah thy God in the midst of thee is a jealous God; lest the anger of Jehovah thy God be kindled against thee, and he destroy thee from off the face of the earth.

1 Corinthians 8: 10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
Exodus 34:14 (for thou shalt worship no other god: for Jehovah, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God);
Deuteronomy 6:14-15
14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples that are round about you;
15 for Jehovah thy God in the midst of thee is a jealous God; lest the anger of Jehovah thy God be kindled against thee, and he destroy thee from off the face of the earth.

Ephesians 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
Yesterday a bother had forwarded me a post that end days are at hand and Jesus is coming soon. When I commented that there is lot of time for Jesus to come, so he called me to tell me a well-known senior Pastor had sent it to him. He got offended in the start when I told him all Church Pastors are not Bible scholars or have deep knowledge of scripture they are good at delivering the Gospel and teaching people how to apply the Gospel into their lives. The Word that Church Pastors take is basics and that is why they rarely touch, expound OT scriptures or show the links between OT and NT.
We need to understand God did not make man one round blob but made him having various parts. We have various body parts according to design and purpose and this is according to the Word of God since Word says Christ was Word made flesh and we are made in His image. But since we have been following the Jewish/Catholic Church hierarchy which the NT book Revelation calls as Nicolaitan system, we have failed to grow spiritually. Ephesians is a generic letter written by Paul to the churches during that period warning them about moving into the Nicolaitan system (which happened later) thus he takes a lot of pain explaining the points which the Lord raised in the first of the seven letters of Revelation.
God enables us by default with all the Gifts of the Spirit needed according to our Calling and the mission He has given us. We do grow in those Gifts over time as we work in His Vineyard. None of us before starting our work make a list and ask of the Lord, He gives us before we realize we need this.
Each Calling is gifted for its purpose, an Apostle will guide into discipleship, a Prophet in knowing which promise/scripture to speak and when, a Teacher on how to expound a scripture, an Evangelist on how to bring to live the seed of faith, an Administrator on how to apply the word in daily life and Healer on how to receive the Word for our healing. Even amongst these Callings we have some Callings like Teacher, Evangelist and Healer having dual categories.
The word ‘Pastor’ mean ‘shepherd’ and is a generic term to all who minister unto another. So let us know whom we approach for what, so that we do not err.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord are Lord of order and not disorder. All things You created with design and purpose. We pray Lord we understand if we do not follow the order we will err and fail. We pray your people know their place in You and their purpose in You...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ephesians 2:20-22
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone];
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Ephesians 4:11-16
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Revelation 2:1-2,6
1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Do we love Him?
2 Corinthians 2:9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
In these times we all question people and even question God.
Let us ask ourselves did we accept Christ on the basis that some person is going to hold our hands and walk us through?
Is our salvation based on any person other than Christ?
When we question God about not doing anything in our situation, let us ask ourselves if we can stand before God and tell Him to His face that we have been honest to Him and He did truly seek Him? If we have not done that than do we have the right to question Him?
Today in the scripture Paul asks his congregation about their love for Christ when they came murmuring to him. Let us too ask ourselves, if we were part of the church of Corinth, would we be in a position to answer Paul question?
Time is not late for us to turn our hearts towards Him and genuinely seek Him. Let us not be like the Israelites who were delivered from Egypt, yet they hearts were still on the life in Egypt and thus perished in the wilderness, but their children were blessed in the Lord for their parents became a (negative) testimony for their children.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord have made us for a purpose and that purpose is to know You, for in You and through You alone is life and life abundance. Lord we pray we seek You more than anything. We pray let your people understand every material gain is like dust when life is in question...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

2 Corinthians 2:8-9
8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm [your] love toward him.

Exodus 16:4 Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
Deuteronomy 8:2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, [and] to prove thee, to know what [was] in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

Social Shaming of Prophets and Men of God
John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
If one goes on social media one sees many people mocking the so called ‘Prophets’, ‘faith Healers’, ‘Men of God’ who performed many miracles… it reminds me of OT times when there problems and all so called Prophets failed. We saw God Himself was not with them for they were not hearing His voice but hearing the voice of the people.
Can any Man of God stop this and other such calamities that are to come in the immediate days? No
It pains to see some Christian leaders declaring it to be last days, or praying immediate halting of this calamity. It isn’t that God cannot do it, but what is written can anyone change?
In today’s message the Jews who thought themselves to be people of God could not recognize God (The Son) in the flesh in their presence all because they did not know His Word, they followed people more than God.
I am happy being led by the Lord I had at least two sessions on Revelations specifically the one on 7 Letters to the 7 Churches where the impact of this pandemic and the period we just stepped in was warned beforehand. That does not make me a better ‘Prophet’ than others, but as a Teacher of the Word I had interpreted the Word more accurately. It was surely with the help of the Lord, but what set me apart was I adhered to the Lord’s voice and not the voice of the masses. I did not take up topics which people’s ears itch to hear or what please their carnal nature not causing change in them.
It is time to pray you have a true Man of God where you live, your city or even your country so that wrath of God affects you the least. It is only during such times you will know who are the real Men or Women of God.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are God and You alone are God. Your Hand is not short that You cannot solve a problem but You hear a prayer that is according to your Will. Lord we pray the so called leaders who guide other may they themselves abide in You more and more. That they know the importance to study your Word more and more and not just concentrate on giving the Gospel...
[Reference Scriptures]
Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:
20 teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
Matthew 24:5-13
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall lead many astray.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for [these things] must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and earthquakes in divers places.
8 But all these things are the beginning of travail.
9 Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many stumble, and shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray.
12 And because iniquity shall be multiplied, the love of the many shall wax cold.
13 But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

Remember the Poor
Galatians 2:10 Only [they would] that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
In these time of calamity we should look out as much as possible for those who cannot financially support for themselves. This is not about being Christian but about basic humanity, of being human. It is about being social, anyone not doing this is not human and in no way can be a Christian. But then just doing this does not make one a Christian.
Since Christianity is less earthly and more spiritual, thus today’s message of Paul is not focused on social aspect of serving people. If we look at the life of Paul recorded in Acts and his communication with the Churches, his focus was primarily on spiritual building of people. When Paul said ‘poor’ most of the time he referred to the poor in spirit and not financially poor. If we look at the verb remember in today’s scripture the grammatical (TVM) tense is present, voice is active and mood subjective.
Bible uses the term pray for Jerusalem and those who do will be blessed in all areas. People foolishly think God is asking to pray for Israel and pray for those who follow Judaism and do not know God.
Like Israel means Prince of God or Prince having authority in God and symbolizes Sons of God, even the term Zion meaning fortified city referred to Sons of God, similarly Jerusalem means teaching of peace and citizens of Jerusalem means those accepted Christ and growing in Him, it symbolizes children of God and not Sons of God.
Let us be aware of the greater danger that exist where many are going to be spiritual dead more than naturally dead. We may think many will come to God in these difficult situations but in fact many are losing faith in God as the situation becomes grimmer and grimmer. Let us pray like Daniel did (Daniel 9:16-19) for them that they do not lose faith, that they find the peace of God. Even though there is a dark cloud around them, that they be focused on to Christ and keep holding on to Him till this dark cloud passes.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You are Almighty God. You Lord have your eyes on your people. Lord today You have called us not to pray for ourselves but pray for those who are weak in faith, that they do not lose faith and die spiritually before dying naturally. Lord we pray for bound of faith stronger than iron or any natural metal. We pray they be rooted strong till this storm passes for it will pass and we pray for the quickening of its passing…
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Psalms 51:18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: Build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 51:50 Ye that have escaped the sword, go ye, stand not still; remember Jehovah from afar, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.

16 O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, let thine anger and thy wrath, I pray thee, be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are round about us.
17 Now therefore, O our God, hearken unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake.
18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness, but for thy great mercies’ sake.
19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God, because thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith

[Reference Scriptures]
Psalms 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: They shall prosper that love thee.
Psalms 51:18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: Build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 51:50 Ye that have escaped the sword, go ye, stand not still; remember Jehovah from afar, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.
Daniel 9:16-19
