Four people were critically injured in a lightning strike on Thursday evening at Lafayette Park directly across the street from the White House.

Vito Maggiolo, a spokesperson for DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, said in a news conference Thursday evening.

“All four were suffering critical, life-threatening injuries,” when help arrived, said Maggiolo, who was unable to provide additional details about the incident or the victims’ conditions.


The victims, two men and two women, were reportedly under a tree when they were hit.

A severe thunderstorm hit the DC region around 7 p.m. EST Thursday. A portion of the park remained closed Thursday evening with emergency crews at the scene.

Lightning is a sign of divine anger, as described throughout the Bible, most notably by the Prophet Zechariah:

The lightning strike took place while President Biden remained in an extended quarantine due to COVID-19.

Negotiators from Iran, the U.S. and the European Union resumed months-long, indirect talks over Tehran’s tattered nuclear deal Thursday, as international inspectors reported that the Islamic Republic is expanding its uranium enrichment.

The resumption of the Vienna talks, suddenly called Wednesday, appeared not to include high-level representation from all the countries that were part of Iran’s 2015 deal with world powers.

The negotiations come as Western officials express growing skepticism over the prospects for a deal to restore the accord. The EU’s top diplomat has warned that “the space for additional significant compromises has been exhausted.”

Iran’s top negotiator, Ali Bagheri Kani, met with EU mediator Enrique Mora, Iranian media reported. As in other talks, the U.S. won’t directly negotiate with Iran. Instead, the two sides will speak through Mora.

U.S. Special Representative for Iran Rob Malley also was on hand, tweeting Wednesday that “our expectations are in check.”

Mora also met Thursday with Russian Ambassador Mikhail Ulyanov, who has represented Moscow’s interests in the talks. Ulyanov also separately met with Bagheri Kani.

“As always we had a frank, pragmatic and constructive exchange of views on ways and means of overcoming the last outstanding issues,” Ulyanov wrote on Twitter.

But going into the negotiations, Iran laid out a maximalist stance. Through its state-run IRNA news agency, Tehran denied that it had abandoned its effort to get America to delist its paramilitary Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization as a precondition to a deal. That has been a main sticking point.

IRNA also quoted Iran’s civilian nuclear chief as saying turned-off surveillance cameras of the International Atomic Energy Agency would be switched back on only if the West abandons an effort to investigate manmade traces of uranium found at previously undisclosed sites in the country.

Those positions could doom the talks.

Iranian officials have been trying to offer optimistic assessments of the negotiations while blaming the U.S. for the deadlock. They may be worried that a collapse of the talks could send the country’s rial currency plunging to new lows.

Iran struck the nuclear deal in 2015 with the U.S., France, Germany, Britain, Russia and China. The deal saw Iran agree to limit its enrichment of uranium under the watch of U.N. inspectors in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions.

Then-President Donald Trump unilaterally pulled the U.S. out of the accord in 2018, saying he would negotiate a stronger deal, but that didn’t happen. Iran began breaking the deal’s terms a year later.

As of the last public IAEA count, Iran has a stockpile of some 3,800 kilograms (8,370 pounds) of enriched uranium.

Iran’s uranium stocks are at 60% purity — far higher than the 3.67% necessary for a civilian nuclear program. A nuclear weapon requires uranium enriched to 90% purity. It’s widely believed that Iran could finish enriching enough uranium to produce an atomic bomb in about four weeks.

No country maintaining a purely civilian nuclear program has ever enriched uranium to the degree that Iran has. Until July, Tehran insisted its nuclear program was for peaceful purposes.

However, once the uranium is sufficiently enriched, aIran still would need to design a bomb and a delivery system for it, likely a months-long project.

Iran maintains its program is for peaceful purposes, though its officials increasingly are discussing the country’s ability to build a nuclear bomb if it chose — previously a taboo topic there.

Meanwhile Thursday, U.N. inspectors at the IAEA said that they had verified that Iran had begun feeding uranium gas into two IR-1 cascades previously unused at its underground Natanz facility. Those cascades will enrich uranium up to 5%.

The IAEA inspectors also verified that Iran had completed installation of three advanced IR-6 cascades at the plant, each comprising up to 176 centrifuges. The IAEA said those cascades had yet to be fed uranium. Iran also told the IAEA it planned to installed six more IR-2M cascades in a new operating unit at Natanz, inspectors said.

For over three days, the IDF has put a general closure on the communities bordering Gaza. The IDF claims the reason for this is a direct threat of sniping attempts on Israeli civilians.

The closures have angered residents in the area.

Despite the threats of a massive revenge attack – the border continues to be quiet.

Sderot Mayor Alon Davidi lodged a complaint against the government for its actions:

“Terrorists must be eliminated and threats must be neutralized. The citizens of the State of Israel, especially the residents of the Gaza envelope and Sderot, should not be held hostage by any terrorist organization, they are heroes who have been living on a difficult security front for over two decades.”

In response to Nancy Pelosi’s visit, the CCP run Chinese mainland has encircled Taiwan – effectively blockading the country.
The Chinese People’s Liberations Army (PLA) sent more than 20 jets over the median line that divides the territorial waters of both countries. The PLA has also fired ballistic missiles over Taiwan itself. While war has not broken out – it’s now now pretty darn close.

Besides being a strategic asset to America, Taiwan is the world’s largest computer chip manufacturer. If Taiwan would fall to the CCP, it would spell the end of US hegemony in the Southeast Asian arena.

Pelosi’s visit may have appeared courageous to many in the USA, but it gave the CCP what it wanted – a reason to invade Taiwan at a time when the USA is at its weakest. The US economy is ravaged by inflation, its president has dementia, and there is a cold civil war that needs just the right spark to blow it open. The CCP knows former President Trump may walk back into office in 2025 and wants to capitalize on America’s weakness now.


For its part, Israel is on the outs with China. China has not only signed a 20 year defense pact with Iran, but it has pledged to invest money into Syria. The CCP has also involved itself in the Horn of Africa by putting money and weapons behind Ethiopia’s central government in the current Civil War. If China takes the Horn – Iran can move back in – effectively surrounding Israel from the North to South. China would control two of the most important waterways in the world – the Red Sea and the Taiwan Straight.

The world has entered a period of extreme chaos. Global leadership is lacking and the enemies of light are gathering. While it might be hard for one to see through it all, we all know that all that is happening has been told to us and once the wars are done – “the knowledge of G-D will fill the world.”

The station, called a pina chama in Hebrew, is serviced by volunteers and is stocked with donated food and drinks. These stations host barbecues and other celebratory events on special occasions like Israel’s Independence Day. In areas like Gush Etzion where IDF operations are incredibly intensive, these rest stations are a common yet welcome sight, offering respite for hard-working soldiers.

Eight out of the 10 terror leaders targeted by the IDF’s Yamam special forces unit in the Shechem (Nablus) raid were able to evade arrest and have not been detained.

Senior terror officials from Hamas and Islamic Jihad successfully escaped from an IDF raid of the home in which they were meeting in late July, although two terrorists were killed in the operation, according to a Channel 12 News report.

Eight out of the ten terror leaders targeted by the IDF’s Yamam special forces unit in the Shechem (Nablus) raid managed to evade arrest and have not been detained.

The terrorists spotted the Israeli military officials via a security camera which broadcast the area outside the structure, and most of them immediately fled the scene.

The two who stayed behind to fight with the approaching troops, identified on Palestinian social media as Aboud Sobah and Muhammad al-Azizi, were killed in a massive firefight with IDF forces.

According to the Channel 12 report, Israeli security forces had aimed to capture Mousad Shtayyeh, a Hamas operative who heads the terror group’s armed Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades division.

An IDF spokesman said that “many weapons, firearms and explosive devices” were found at the home where the terror meeting took place.

The IDF summary of the raid indicated that a number of terrorists had been “eliminated” but did not mention any arrests – a detail that raised questions among some Israeli analysts and news outlets.

At the time of the operation, Hebrew-language media reported that Ibrahim Nabulsi, the sole member of a four-man terror squad to survive an Israeli assassination of the cell some five months ago, was the raid’s primary target.
Nabulsi reportedly barricaded himself in his home and refused to surrender to troops.
Nabulsi and others in his home reportedly shot at troops, before eventually being killed in a firefight. Security forces were said to have fired a shoulder-held missile at the home in order to force entry to his residence.

The Biden administration authorized two large-scale defense sales to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, to help defend against threats from Iran, the Associated Press reported.

The more than $5 billion in missile defense and related sales come after U.S. President Joe Biden’s trip to the Middle East last month, which included meetings with a number of regional officials and leaders in Saudi Arabia.

The new sales include $3 billion for Patriot anti-missile missiles for Saudi Arabia to defend against Houthi missile attacks and $2.2 billion for high-altitude missile defense THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) missiles for the UAE.

In a notice informing Congress of the sale, the State Department said, “The proposed sale will improve the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s capability to meet current and future threats by replenishing its dwindling stock of PATRIOT GEM-T missiles.”

“These missiles are used to defend the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s borders against persistent Houthi cross-border unmanned aerial system and ballistic missile attacks on civilian sites and critical infrastructure in Saudi Arabia,” the statement continued.

The sale to the UAE would “support the foreign policy and national security of the United States by helping to improve the security of an important regional partner. The UAE is a vital U.S. partner for political stability and economic progress in the Middle East,” said the State Department.

Even if the US succeeds in bringing Israel and Lebanon to an agreement, there is one problem – Hezbollah. The terror entity in Southern Lebanon, which in a sense controls Lebanon, will not be able to abide by it and Israel knows this.

This has always been the fallacy of the State Department run foreign policy at Foggy Bottom. They can get as many peace deals as they want, but in reality they are meaningless. It would be better if Israel rejected the US plan and braced itself for impact, because that is far more realistic than what the US is proposing.

An Israeli man was attacked by an Arab mob in Samaria on Friday and barely escaped a lynching attempt.
Dozens of residents of the village of Burkin marched on Friday after prayers toward the Israeli community of Alei Zahav, where they encountered an Israeli who was walking with his dog. The mob attacked him and his dog.

IDF forces who were alerted to the scene succeeded in pushing back the crowd, and the Israeli victim escaped with minor injuries. He was taken to Beilinson Hospital for further treatment. His dog was beaten to death by the terrorists.

The mob, carrying PLO flags, was reportedly led by Mustafa Barghouti.

The rioters also blocked a main route in the area and threw rocks at Israeli motorists. One of the rioters was reportedly shot and killed by IDF forces.

On Thursday night, IDF soldiers thwarted an attempted shooting attack near the city of Shechem (Nablus). An armed terrorist squad arrived by car at one of the entrances to the city. A terrorist got out of the vehicle and fired at an IDF military post.

IDF soldiers from Unit 636 who were on a mission returned fire and hit several of the suspects.

Another vehicle arrived later on, picked up the weapon, and fled the scene.

On Saturday night, the IDF and other Israeli security forces conducted counterterrorism activities in a number of locations in Judea and Samaria, including in the villages of Shukba and Beit Deko.

In the village of Beit Fajar in the Gush Etzion area, the forces arrested three wanted persons suspected of terrorist activity.

A total of six wanted persons were arrested throughout Judea and Samaria

There were no Israeli casualties in any of the incidents.

The arrests were made as part of Operation Wave Breaker, Israel’s counterterrorism operation following several deadly terror attacks that the country experienced in recent months.

It started out by then Foreign Minister Lapid who openly sided with Ukraine as opposed to staying neutral as then Prime Minister Bennett had suggested.

Putin’s Russia began to complain about Israeli warplanes attacking Iranian posts in Syria. This antagonism has grown with Russia now ordering Israel to stop attacking.

The latest is the Russian move to shut down the Jewish Agency in Russia, which would effectively prevent Jews from immigrating to Israel – something that has not been the case since the Soviet Area.

All of this is now happening after Putin’s visit to Iran and the tightening of that relationship. Will Putin break off relations with Israel entirely? Perhaps – and if he does, it is a sign that the next stage of the Iran-Israel conflict is upon us.

Unfortunately, Israel is lead by a very inexperienced Prime Minister with little know-how in managing serous crises.

The IDF exposed a vast network of tunnels, essentially an underground city, dug by the Hamas terror organization under crucial civilian infrastructure, while warning that these buildings are at risk if the terror organization attacks Israel.

Hamas’ use of civilian settings for its weapons warehouses and training bases has been known for over a decade, as well as its use of human shields, in contravention of all international conventions.

What the IDF revealed on Wednesday are underground networks that were built within the various neighborhoods in the Strip.

The tunnels pass under buildings necessary for civilian life, with Hamas knowing that Israel’s attacks on these military targets would be very problematic.

If the tunnels collapse, hospitals, mosques, universities, or factories will also collapse with them, the IDF warned.

A recent example is the underground terror tunnel dug by Hamas in the Tufah neighborhood in Gaza City. The tunnel is used for the storage of explosives and for the movement of Hamas terrorists, and is located near the “Pepsi” factory operating under a franchise, and the UNRWA-run “Draaj” elementary school, which is used in times of emergency as a declared shelter for 2,500 people.

Also, a weapons cache and the entrance to a terrorist tunnel shaft were located in the homes of two of the organization’s operatives. The first is Mahmoud Salah Muhammad Abu Ali, an operative in Hamas’ production system, who has a weapons storage facility on the roof of his house.

The IDF noted that it’s not just his house that he is endangering – the house is surrounded by other residences and is located next to the UNRA clinic, which is across the road and provides medical care to about 15,000 people

On Thursday, a group of proud Jews entered a three-story housing complex in Hebron on the main road leading from the Machpelah (Cave of the Patriarchs) to the Avraham Avinu neighborhood. The area was the Jewish quarter of the city until the 1929 Arab pogroms that killed 67 Jews and forced the rest to flee. “The Jews must flee from Russia as soon as possible and Israel should stop doubting and send weapons to Ukraine,” warns Russian-Israeli businessman Leonid Nevzlin.

A prominent Russian-Israeli businessman who ran afoul of President Vladimir Putin has called on those Jews who remain in Russia to leave the country at the first opportunity.

In a post on his Telegram channel, Leonid Nevzlin — an energy executive and philanthropist who fled Russia for Israel in 2003 — cited last week’s announcement from the Russian ministry of justice that it is seeking to shutter the Jewish Agency’s operations in the country.

“Israel should have no illusions about Russia, which has become a country unfriendly to Jews,” Nevzlin wrote.

“It is enough to recall Lavrov’s antisemitic statements,” Nevzlin continued, referring to the outrage triggered in May by comments from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accusing Israel of backing “neo-Nazis” in Ukraine and opining that Nazi leader Adolf Hitler may have had “Jewish blood.”

Nevzlin said the initial court hearing on the closure of the Jewish Agency, scheduled for Thursday, marked a “new stage” in Russia’s offensive against its Jewish community.

“The Jews must flee from Russia as soon as possible,” Nevzlin declared. “And Israel should stop doubting and send weapons to Ukraine. Protecting democracy is our common cause.”

Nevzlin argued that Russia’s desire to prevent the Jewish Agency from operating in Russia, where it assists Jews seeking to emigrate to Israel, was motivated by Putin’s fear of a “brain drain” of talented Russian citizens opposed to the invasion of Ukraine.

“But, as he often does lately, Putin will achieve the exact opposite: brains from Russia will not just flow, but will rush in a stream,” Nevzlin said. “This was already the case after the annexation of Crimea in 2014, which led to a new, ‘Putin’s aliyah’ – a stream of Russian Jews who no longer want to have anything to do with that country.”

Nevzlin himself renounced his Russian citizenship two weeks after the invasion was launched. “I am against the war, I am against occupation, and I am against exterminating the Ukrainian people,” he said at the time. “I am an Israeli citizen and if I wanted to think about having another citizenship, I would be proud to receive a Ukrainian passport.”

Nevzlin is a former executive with the Russian oil company Yukos that was targeted by Putin in a 2005 corruption trial condemned around the world as politically motivated and procedurally flawed. Russian attempts to extradite Nevzlin were rebuffed by the Israeli government on grounds of lack of evidence.

On Friday, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied that the moves to shut the Jewish Agency were triggered by anxieties over a “brain drain.”

“No, this is not related to the brain drain, it is related to compliance with Russian law,” Peskov said. The ministry of justice claims that the Jewish Agency violated Russian law by allegedly maintaining a database of Russian Jews planning to emigrate to Israel. More than 16,000 Russian Jews have departed for Israel since Moscow launched the invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24.

Peskov then told the journalist who asked him the question to direct his inquiry to the ministry of justice, “which made this decision.”

In a separate development on Monday, Russian police detained opposition politician Leonid Gozman over his alleged failure to inform the authorities swiftly enough about his Israeli citizenship. Gozman had argued publicly that Putin has inflicted more damage on Russia by invading Ukraine than any other Russian leader since Josef Stalin, and that post-Soviet Russia had essentially died with the war.

Hezbollah is said to have 100,000 rockets. Many of these are now PGMs or precision guided missiles. PGMs are able to exploit weaknesses in the Iron Dome system and wreck havoc on Israeli population centers. When Nasrallah says he can hit al of Israel – he is not lying – with the PGMs and his Iranian made drones he certainly can.

This is why Israel’s agreements with Russia that allows it to attack Syria in order to stop Iran are so important. Former Prime Minister Netanyahu has brought up Lapid’s responsibility in destroying Israel’s relationship with Russia as part of the former PM’s campaign attack against his rival.
Without Russian allowance – Israel will fast become surrounded by its enemies. Given the quick deterioration in Israel’s security situation, it may not matter who becomes Prime Minister next. The Jewish State may already be bombarded by its enemies.

Greece and Turkey have a long and complicated history going back to ancient times, but recent developments have pitted them against each other, threatening to engulf the Mediterranean in a multinational conflict.

Greece and Turkey are both NATO allies, but that has not assuaged a history of conflict. While Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has strengthened the NATO alliance, it has increased tensions between Greece and Turkey. When Greek prime minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, gave a speech to both chambers of the US Congress in May, he emphasized the importance of US military bases in Greece for supplying Ukraine with weapons. In the speech, he called for the US to provide Greece with F-35 stealth fighters while also calling for the US not to upgrade Turkey’s F-16s.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with Erdogan in March 2022 and seemed to have reached an agreement on Mediterranean security issues. But this agreement quickly deteriorated, and Turkish violations of Greek airspace have reached unprecedented levels. 

The situation grew even tenser on Sunday when Erdogan accused Greece of undermining the rights of the Muslim minority in its Thrace region. Muslims represent nearly 32 percent of the province’s population.

On Monday, The Turkish defense ministry accused the Greek coast guard of pushing a boat carrying migrants out of Greek territorial waters and back into Turkish ones. 

The Ukraine war has also increased the importance of non-Russian sources of natural gas, putting the spotlight on Israel. One possible solution, a pipeline from Israel’s Leviathan field to Turkey, would run through Cypriot waters, requiring Cyprus’ consent under international law. 

One of the motivations behind Turkey choosing a conflict with Greece is the waning popularity of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in light of the upcoming elections in June. Turkey’s economy is a shambles, with inflation hitting a 24-year high of 78 percent in June 2022. A war would provide a distraction from domestic politics and inflation. Despite being a NATO member, Turkey has become increasingly dependent on Russia as a trading partner, alienating both the US and Europe.  

The 20th century began with Turkey carrying out a genocide against Greek Christians in  Anatolia beginning in 1914 and continuing until after World War I. This was followed by the Greco-Turkish War of 1919-1922, which ended with a Greek defeat. In theory, the two countries reconciled over the Lausanne Treaty that was signed in 1923. Both countries joined NATO in 1952.

The two countries consider each other their greatest security risk, with control of the eastern Mediterranean and Aegean as the basis of their rivalry. In 1974, Turkey invaded and subsequently occupied the northern 37 percent of Cyprus, an unresolved issue. In the 1990s, Greek pursued a strategy of encircling Turkey. Toward this end, Greece formed a defense cooperation agreement with Syria in 1995. In reaction, Turkey spoke with Israel in 1996, though these relations deteriorated.

Putin’s Russia began to complain about Israeli warplanes attacking Iranian posts in Syria. This antagonism has grown with Russia now ordering Israel to stop attacking.

The latest is the Russian move to shut down the Jewish Agency in Russia, which would effectively prevent Jews from immigrating to Israel – something that has not been the case since the Soviet Area.

All of this is now happening after Putin’s visit to Iran and the tightening of that relationship. Will Putin break off relations with Israel entirely? Perhaps – and if he does, it is a sign that the next stage of the Iran-Israel conflict is upon us.
Unfortunately, Israel is lead by a very inexperienced Prime Minister with little know-how in managing serous crises.

The spy ring was said to enter Iran by way of Kurdistan and supplied with weapons and intelligence by Israel. Western Iran has a high Kurdish population. This population borders the Kurdish region in Northern Iraq. The border between both areas is very porous with many Kurds going back and forth.

Decades ago, Iran, in an attempt to integrate Kurdish citizens allowed them to reach the highest levels science and the military. Despite this, there has been a continuous separation movement in the Kurdish areas of Iran. If the attackers were really from the Iranian Kurdish region or at least were Kurds that used contacts in the region to move about, this would show how misplaced their Kurdish integration policy was.

Iran may not stop at the spy-ring, but rather begin an anti-Kurdish campaign in an attempt to ensure its top echelons are properly purged of anti-government personnel.

For Israel, the busting of the spy-ring could not have come at a worst time. Iran has already admitted it can male a nuclear weapon. This, coupled with a retreating USA, leaves Israel cornered and surrounded by Iran and Russia. The arrests in Iran appear to leave Israel no choice but to attack Iran in order to prevent it from nuking the Jewish State.

Syria blamed Israel for missile strikes near Damascus on Thursday night.
Syria’s state-controlled SANA news agency reported three soldiers were killed and another seven people were injured. It also claimed that the Syrian military shot down a number of the missiles.

Opposition news sites reported that a warehouse belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and a drone factory — both south of the capital — were among the sites targeted.

Other unconfirmed reports said that Hezbollah operatives were among the injured.

In a rare Israeli confirmation, Diaspora Affairs Minister Nachman Shai told Israel’s Kan Reshet Bet radio station on Friday morning, “The IDF operated in Syria last night. We continue to protect our security interests.”

Israel has carried out hundreds of air strikes in Syria to prevent Iran and its proxies from entrenching themselves and transferring weapons. Jerusalem rarely acknowledges specific attacks, but officials have confirmed the strikes in a general way.

In June, an Israeli strike knocked Damascus International Airport out of service for two weeks after Israel accused Iran of smuggling advanced missile components for Hezbollah into Syria on civilian flights. The destroyed terminals were said to have been designated as VIP areas for Iranian personnel and for storing the smuggled technology.

Despite Russian warnings to Israel to stop attacking Iranian targets in Syria, the IDF appears be fully committed to bombing strategic sites in Syria.
This attack hit a wide swath of sites in southwest Syria that had been used by the Iranians to store advanced weapons before shipping the to Hezbollah. Israel attacks these sites on a regular basis in order to keep these sorts of weapons out of the hands of Hezbollah.

The attack on Syria Thursday night has a big significance in that it is the first attack after Iran announced it can already build a nuclear weapon.

Two reasons are very clear. The first is that the Gulf States and Israel want to send a message to the American administration that the USA is not needed for the strike. The second reason IDF Chief Kochavi made his statement is that Iran has finally admitted they can already make a nuclear weapon. This revelation reveals what most have known all along that the Iranian nuclear program was designed to reach a nuclear weapon. This revelation is serious and pushes the region even closer to war.

In the coming months, PM Lapid may decide that his best option for winning the election and remaining Prime Minister is an attack on Iran. If he goes forward with it, the region and the world will be entering unchartered territory – filled with chaos and turmoil for the foreseeable future.

Israeli police, along with the IDF, could not prevent the approximately 10,000 Jewish Israelis from setting up six new Jewish communities in Judea-Samaria on Wednesday.

One outpost was taken down, but police were unable to evict the other five outposts where the pioneers managed to remain overnight.
The pioneers, who consisted of mostly teenagers and young adults, camped out in tent villages across Judea and Samaria in an effort to eventually turn those campsites into permanent towns and villages. The end will come in an instant we are told. And as the world’s eyes are fixed on Ukraine, the real story is brewing between Russia and Iran and their plans for carving up Syria and taking on Israel.


Russian President Vladimir Putin with Iranian leaders in Tehran as well as President Erdogan from Turkey yesterday. While solving the Syrian crisis, which essentially means carving up Syria, the real topic was how to work together to take on Israel.

The fact is Iran’s position has only strengthened as of late. The Biden administration is weak, China is buying oil and gas from the Islamic regime and even Putin is in need of help in the form of drones. For Russia, they made need the drones, but their eyes as always is on the Holy Land. Putin wants a permanent base in the Levant. That is Syria, but what he really wants is Jerusalem.

Both the leaders of Iran, Erdogan of Turkey, and Putin all want the same place and appear ready to work together to get it. So while the world is distracted, the enemies of Israel are planning Jewish State’s demise. We are led by self centered, egotistical, assimilated politicians, more concerned by world public opinion than protecting their country. Israel’s enemies are ready to attack and in a moment it could begin. While our leaders may not be ready – we must.

The enhanced ties between Moscow and Tehran are especially concerning to Israel – not only because of its opposition to a nuclear deal.

Russian President Vladimir Putin won staunch support from Iran on Tuesday for his country’s military campaign in Ukraine, with Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei saying the West opposes an “independent and strong” Russia.

Khamenei claimed that if Russia hadn’t sent troops into Ukraine, it would have faced an attack from NATO later, a statement that echoed Putin’s own rhetoric and reflected increasingly close ties between Moscow and Tehran.

In only his second trip abroad since Russia launched the military action in February, Putin conferred with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the conflict in Syria, and he used the trip to discuss a UN-backed proposal to resume exports of Ukrainian grain to ease the global food crisis.

Turkey, a NATO member, has found itself opposite Russia in bloody conflicts in Syria and Libya. But Ankara hasn’t imposed sanctions on the Kremlin, making it a sorely needed partner for Moscow. Grappling with runaway inflation and a rapidly depreciating currency, Turkey also relies on the Russian market.

Speaking to Erdogan as their meeting began, Putin thanked him for his mediation to help “move forward” a deal on Ukrainian grain exports. “Not all the issues have been resolved yet, but it’s good that there has been some progress,” Putin said.

Erdogan praised what he described as Russia’s “very, very positive approach” during last week’s grain talks in Istanbul. He voiced hope a deal will be made, and “the result that will emerge will have a positive impact on the whole world.”

The trip to Tehran has symbolic meaning for Putin’s domestic audience as well, showing off Russia’s international clout even as it grows increasingly isolated and plunges deeper into confrontation with the West.

Backed into a corner by the West and its regional rivals, the Iranian government is ramping up uranium enrichment, cracking down on dissent and grabbing headlines with optimistic, hardline stances intended to keep the Iranian currency, the rial, from crashing. Without sanctions relief in sight, Iran’s tactical partnership with Russia has become one of survival, even as Moscow appears to be undercutting Tehran in the black-market oil trade.

“Iran is (the) center of dynamic diplomacy,” Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian wrote on Twitter, adding the meetings will “develop economic cooperation, focus on security of the region … and ensure food security.”

Fadahossein Maleki, a member of the Iranian parliament’s influential committee on national security and foreign policy, described Russia as Iran’s “most strategic partner” on Monday.

“We are strengthening our cooperation on international security issues, making a significant contribution to the settlement of the Syrian conflict.”

“There has been good experience of the two countries in fighting terrorism, which I think has brought security to the region,” Raisi said.

‘Very pleased to be on the hospitable Iranian soil’
In a sign of increasingly close military cooperation, Russian officials in recent weeks visited an airfield in central Iran at least twice to review Tehran’s weapons-capable drones for possible use in Ukraine, the White House has alleged.

Putin hailed the importance of close ties between Moscow and Tehran at his meetings with the Iranian leaders.

“Our relations are developing at a good pace,” Putin said at the start of the meeting with Raisi, adding that they two countries have worked to “strengthen their cooperation on international security and contribute significantly to the Syrian settlement.”

“I am very pleased to be on the hospitable Iranian soil,” Putin told Raisi, according to  IRNA.
