What I am up to today

It's been a busy couple of days with visitors.
Earlier today I spent some time at a Forum where I am member replying to some postings to me there.
My eldest daughter was going to town so rang to see if I would like to go along. We took a look around in the Old indoor market which had been newly refurbished, very interesting it was like Aladin's Cave so different from what it was previously, there was no fruit and veg stalls although a butcher and place to have a bite to eat. Just an hour out of the house but it was very interesting and we hope to do again.
I have caught up with a backlog at my site now to visit some of the groups where I am member.

Nightfall and soon will be tomorrow.
Another busy day, much time this morning doing some checking up History of World War1 and Britain this is because I am involved in another Forum where we are discussing Israel and how Major Allenby of Britain handed over the keys to Israel. I am usually interested in ancient history but the thread made me, to for want of better word refresh my memory of what I had read previously. My searching reminded me of the many awesome events in history of prayer and angelic beings, which intervened.
My eldest daughter visted and stayed a few hours we had late lunch together and I cut her hair.
A blessed time together but now I need to try catch up as I missed time away off the net, sometimes this happen which mean postings go out late.

Hi everyone,
We have a lot of rainfall over Britain with much flood warnings, as yet not so bad in my part of Wales thankfully although thunder storms coming our way and to batten down the hatches for the wind which others already experiencing other parts of Britain.

For a couple of days I had a frustrating time on the net as my Avast free kept popping up to say threat blocked, and took ages to restore the page also not able to get into my photobucket without having not responding, so glad they cracked it and now ok.
I did go over to their help forum to find many others having same problem, I also googled to notice others who did not have the same Antivirus protection with the same problem so it appears many were being attacked.
Glad sorted for me as was able to upload the tags made for me.

I made a raspberry cheesecake picked them this morning from my garden, to go along with the nibbles I made yesterday, cornish pasties, and pizza for our family get together today, it's my daughters birthday tomorrow and better for all to be able to attend on a Sunday. I need to get ready shortly but wanted to pop around Forums as have not paid a visit lately also to make mention of below should others be experiencing.

I have been having pc problem this morning.
each time I open a page for example google whIch I use as my home page
to get to my favourites i.e. group here, I get malaware threat pop up blocked,

I did run a malaware scan earlier also virus scan (all up to date downloaded) which didn't pick up anything. I use Google and Chrome the pop up come up on these. I am confident nothing I have done as only download was yesterday I.E. 8 update and all worked fine.

I have ignored as looked on the internet and seem
many others having same problem whatever search engine they use.
I have avast free virus scan, went along to find others having problems and the tech's as yet not cracked this nut.
I notice when I googled to find if others having problems and seems not just avast users.
Reading what technicians have suggested have saved me a lot of time going through the various proceedures others have done, only to find no solution as yet.
I am ignoring at present although a bit frustrating waiting for the pop up to close or to have page cannot be displayed.

Hi everyone,
Besides being busy it's been like sick bay at our house, I haven't been feeling well and my son has flu, one of my dogs Milo have been acting strange, the look on his face a picture to behold, don't like all the sneezing going on staying as close to me as possible and nudging me, as I wasn't feeling well and laying on the settee my son told the dogs to go lay down in the other room, Milo couldn't handle the sound of sneezing from there, and when my son went into the bathroom found Milo sitting in the bath behind the shower curtain lol.
I did come online to do a little, but now to catch up in groups.

Hi everyone,
Good evening.
I had one of those weekends searching for my birth-certificate which I had put in a safe place. I eventually found I had moved to another safe place, after reading an article a long while ago which suggested pack a emergency bag, which I did, I had placed important documents along with necessities for easy pick up.

Well a lot of un-necessary documents I had come across removed and disposed of and a nice trip down memory lane with other stuff I had stored which was not in the emergency bag.
An Online friend of my daughters mentioned she had a fire and was so grateful I was able to send her some photo's of her son at a birthday party he attended of my grandaughter. I must admit I have so many albums, although treasures, would be too large to be included in emergency kit. It is worth thinking about, one never know and as Boy Scout/Girl Scout say" BE PREPARED.
I wonder what would be in your emergency kit?

Hi everyone Good afternoon,
I had an early night and I had taken some time out for myself yesterday as was feeling very tired and not feeling very well, so relaxed and watched some TV Enjoyed a film "The Edge of America" very encouraging, the team was not losers but winners in their town home-coming a great story. And although seen before "Chariots of Fire" a wonderful film, a true story of Eric Liddell, a devout Scottish Christian who runs for the glory of God and refused to run in the Olympics on the Sabbath, born in China of Scottish missionary parents. Liddell delivers a sermon at the Paris Church of Scotland that Sunday, and quotes from Isaiah 40, ending with: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Although when he did run in another race he was discouraged by another but Liddell defeats the American favourites and wins the gold medal.
As the film ends, onscreen text explains that Eric Liddell went on to missionary work in China. All of Scotland mourned his death in 1945 in Japanese-occupied China.

Hi everyone,
A dry day here in Wales although weather not what one would expect for summer. My daughter's have been suggesting I colour my hair so yesterday followed their advice, my! oh! my! not to my liking at all. My son said nothing bless him and I asked what do you think, he said "why did you listen it looked fine the way you always have it."
Although I have green eyes being a red head do not suit me and I agree with him, so thankful it will wash out.
When I was younger I had dark brown hair, now gone greyish and silver so tend to use a ash blonde, I wanted to just grow old gracefully and leave it, wonder what others think?
I guess I will be spending much time in the bath to remove the colouring . Going to check- in around groups then take a rest as arthritis being very unkind to me today.
No plans as yet for the rest of the day whatever yours are, stay safe and well.

Hi everyone,
Another glorious sunny day so I will be enjoying in the garden.
Yesterday I put a paddling pool out for the dogs, Milo is black which attracts the heat so enjoyed getting cooled down with me pouring water over him, while my other dog Cai, prefers to go swimming diving into deep water, wouldn't entertain at all unless for a bath.
A friend brought me some rhubarb and beans from her allotment, I will make use of the beans but leaving baking until the weekend when it is said going to be cooler and probably some rain.

Good morning everyone,
I was up as the sun was peeping over the mountain and we have another beautiful sunny day here in Wales, with a promise this will last to the end of the week. After sorting the dogs and feeding the birds, then to spend time in prayer of the things happening over the world that I know of, not forgetting to give thanks to God for his mercy which is new every morning. Our thoughts go out for the family and friends in Aurora also those who have suffered loss through flooding and fire and those suffering persecution for their faith and the many other matters happening in peoples lives. No plan as yet other than to spend some time in the garden with my bible. We had a lovely day at the beach on Saturday and enjoyed our B.B.Q yesterday, I had an early visit from a friend then, I spent about an hour, taking notes of my findings as I had, had a telephone call and promised my nephew I would gather scriptures concerning a matter we talked about, he is searching for answers in life and eagre to come and have a chat with me.
I'm going to check around groups, hopefully the server will not be down, with one in particular, then take a look at what is happening
on the news.

Hi everyone,
Although it was pouring with rain yesterday had a lovely day with my son to celebrate his birthday, we went for a drive to check out a new car, did some retail therapy and had dinner together.
The grandchildren came along to the house with present for uncle and their home made cards bringing along Narla their rescue pup, everything a bit crazy, with 3 dogs and two little ones playing running around the house but fun.
Thankfully it is dry and some sunshine coming through today so hopefully can get to do some things in the garden. Whatever your plans have a good day.

Hi everyone,
Been along to relax and play a few games, things hectic as per usual my end but I would rather than be bored, although I do need to organize myself and not take on more than I can do. I get quite a lot of news and petitions which I try to keep up to date on, taking to other Forums where I am member.
There was some snail mail letter writing to be done and next week will be busy once again with Form filling and other personal matters.
It's my sons birthday on Monday and I haven't even had time to get him a Birthday Card that is a must do today. I had update my website last night having to do double once again, so once pop around groups, take a break then hopefully catch up once again here.

Hi Everyone, good evening.
Had a lovely day with the family to celebrate my grandson's 7th Birthday. I was feeling very tired so opted out going to watch the swimming, my younger daughter Fran tidied up the room and table, so they would be able to snack when they got back. Narla the puppy was put into the kitchen gate shut and door closed, we locked up and came back to mine for a cuppa, chat and watch some news and tv, Fran had a call, was there any food left? Narla had managed to get the door open vault the gate and help herself to the party food lettuce and tomatoe scattered the floor and her laying out on the soffa. She did leave the fruit and onions also the remains of the large Birthday cake a Mochi monster which my daughter made, very impressive with a mouth full of sweets.
Those that decided they were going to come back and eat later had to wait for more food to be made up, although no sausage rolls left or the chick bites, the bowl of popcorn not touched.
Narla didn't get scolded as would not have associated with the crime commited. Apparently my grandson took it all in his stride and said good job we ate before leaving mum lol. A birthday he will no doubt be telling his grandchildren about in years to come. Just going to pop around groups then relax in front of the tv before bed.
Things rather hectic and we have another busy day tomorrow hopefully I will find time to get online if not too tired.
